Just Imagine if Malaysia is truly a secular nation?

Assalamualaikum dear Muslims.

I would like to draw your attention to a question that's playing in my mind.

For all the claims that we hear from our nation's leaders that this country is an Islamic nation all along and that the Muslims of Malaysia ought not opt for another ruler than the one we already have and that our affairs are being taken care of by the monarchy, being the Keepers of the Islamic faith, all these while, a question keeps gnawing at my heart...'What if this country becomes a truly secular state as being championed by many of our legal eagles from the Non Muslim and 'liberals' amongst the Ummah, itself?

I mean, here we are already reeling from one problem to another concerning applications to apostate, rising statistics of 'Muslims' committing all kinds of sins here in this 'Islam Hadhari' espousing nation and a thousand and one issues regarding the non-implementation of the Syariah of Islam as commanded by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala as per the Last Testament of Allah, the Holy Al-Qur'an Al Kareem and according to the authentic Hadiths of Rasulullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam.

It scares me to think of what is the future going to be for this nation's Muslims who are today being assailed from all corners of their life's by all kinds of hedonistic pursuits and challenges, proudly sponsored and propagated by all parties including even this ruling government?

I would love to see more active efforts from the Malay Sultans to go address the declining standards of the faith of Islam being neglected by the Muslim Ummah here and their Royal Highnesses actually put to practice what Islam is in their life's and not just be ornamental figureheads as what we see now?

Maksiat is at an all time high and many amongst the Ummah are clueless and ignorant about their true faith of Islam.

Religious knowledge is circulating only amongst the elite few and they in turn are too bloody proud to want to share it with the masses, who in turn couldn't give a damn about all these!

Pride and Ego. Two major root causes afflicting the Malaysian Ulama and Ulul 'Amri.

I understand that being normal human beings, Malaysian Muslims are just as susceptible to the temptations of this life as everyone else on Earth but if this nation is truly being governed by true Muslims as we hear, how come that we are having so many issues challenging the actual implementation of Allah's Supreme Constitution as He Commands us?

I am sure that deep down in their hearts, the Muslims ruling this nation are all for the upholding of the just Laws of our Creator and want to see to it that Islam is accorded it's true status as per what the Federal Constitution states and that all other acknowledged Faiths are to be allowed to be practiced by their adherents without any hindrance from anyone.

What I think is the reason why the Non Muslim Malaysians are worried about is the conflicting stands being taken by the government running Muslims not only in UMNO but also in the Opposition PAS and Keadilan's understanding of Islam?

To solve this stalemate, I call upon my fellow Muslims concerned to be bighearted and reach out to one another by way of having dialogues and muzakarah's in a cordial and respectable manner between them.

Sit and solve through whatever it is separating them in the true Muslim spirit of 'Ikhwanul Muslimin'.

We pray to Allah, the same Creator of us all. Why does EGO have to be the stumbling block to this reunification amongst the Ummah?

Surely , when each Muslim true to his or her name , prostrates before Ar Rahman, their ego's ought to have left them and purify their souls with the goodness of Iman and sincerity of their 'amal'?

So, what is stopping you , O fellow Muslims from doing just that?

Surely, we all want to see our nation's Ummah be the best that we can be and rid ourselves of this enmity between the various jama'ah's ?

Unite as one and stop the rot from the top. We can do it IF you delete all the hatred virus affecting our hearts and minds.

'Hendak seribu daya ; tak hendak tak upaya!'

May Allah SWT bless our true leaders and Ulamak's with His Taufeek and Hidayah and give them the courage and firmness of willpower to see to it that Islam reigns supreme over us Muslims of Malaysia. Ameen Ya Rabbal Alameen.

Wassalamualaikum Warahmatulillahi Ta'ala Wabarakatuh.
