Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim screwed his chances of giving the BN a run for their money by committing the Mother of all Bloopers that a contesting Election Candidate can ever do!!!
What the hell was he thinking when he endorsed the people to vote in the Barisan Nasional in the coming election in Ijok???
Hahahahaha! The guy might be wearing a Parti Keadilan Rakyat badge on his shirt yesterday but his brain cells are still all BN!!! He must still be living in BN Bolehland in his mind when he was absent mindedly speaking to the people of Ijok!
RTM are having a field day by broadcasting repeatedly the clip of the PKR candidate openly endorsing the BN candidate!!!
There goes his credibility as a viable candidate against the BN's Parthiban! Talk about shooting himself in not only the foot but also in his mouth!
No need to waste anymore energy on this then, Tan Sri! You've just thrown in your towel!
You have just committed the cardinal sin!!! Not focused!!! Hence your Mother of all Screw ups!
Won't ask you what were you thinking? You weren't! It's just your basic nature taking over!
Once an UMNO man, you'll always be an UMNO man ; your entire self must be permeated with UMNO cells right through your bone marrows!
So, no matter that you have been nominated to stand as a PKR candidate, deep within you, still thrives the spirit of the BN diehards! Without focus, your mind just went astray to BN land!
That's why without you realizing what you were saying, you spewed out that support for the BN and dropped the guillotine upon your political ambitions! You just decapitated your chances!
That's what I see. With this self destructive slip of your tongue and mind, you are now history!
I don't see how you are gonna redeem yourself with the PKR leadership and supporters after this?
'Terlajak perahu boleh tarik balik Tan Sri! Terlajak sokong calon BN, lupakan sajalah nak bertanding! Tak de guna dah!!! Kredibiliti untuk bertanding dah punah!!! Hancur sudah!!

Well, looking at the way the BN is going all out to discredit the Opposition's Candidate for the N11 Ijok By Election, Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim, Tun Dr.Mahathir has come out with a call to the Ijok voters to exercise their rights wisely!
What does Tun mean by 'wisely'? Is Tun asking the Ijok voters to bring about a change in the Malaysian political scene by effecting a turning point in this nation's political future?
We all know that the Barisan Nasional has not really practiced what they preach!
For all the sloganeering, spewing rhetoric, chasing after ego inflating insignificant record breaking achievements infatuation, hedonistic extravaganza's entertainment programs meant to keep the gullible ones in the general Malaysian public occupied, the BN Government has achieved an almost infallible approach to beguile the average voter to keep crossing the ballot paper carrying their logo by scaring the population every now and then with the May 13th racial riots threat!
The main media organization @ RTM is used extensively day in and day out to churn out made to terrify documentaries highlighting edited clips of the Memali incident, Reformasi riots, and other civil disturbances superimposing cleverly edited audio clips of firebrand PAS leaders castigating the BN Government, etcetera.
Such manipulative broadcasts over live national TV tends to leave an impression on the hearts and minds of the voters. When repeated screenings of such propaganda material is broadcasted direct to the Malaysian general populace day in day out, the intended affect is achieved.
Fearing uncertainties and preferring to 'play safe', the unsuspecting Malaysian voter thus returns the BN into power in each by election and for the past 5 decades, the BN leaders have successfully kept their monopoly of power in Malaysia.
Personally, the only thing that pisses me off is the increased expenses that the BN has burdened us with!
What the hell do I care if they live in palaces or splurge on the luxuries of this life if they merit such benefits of political power?
I just wish that this nation will be run by a government that stands on it's own merits of justice and fair play especially during the elections like the current one in Ijok or later in the GE's.
The reality is that the BN has since day 1 obtained power through unfair usage of the government machinery and by playing money politics!
What can the Opposition do to overcome such a situation? What can any party anywhere in the world do against such a situation?
Justice takes a back seat when Money, Power and Position occupies the 'Driver's Seat! This is what is taking place here in my nation.
For a mere RM50.00 or any other gift, people are willing to prostitute their rights by selling off their votes for 5 years and then repeat such a vile trade again and again.
I just don't know dear readers. Maybe my nation is fated to have such spineless citizens.
Maybe Malaysians do not have it in them to stand up for justice unlike many other people here on Earth.
As long as the people themselves do not come forward and claim their rights to vote wisely based upon the track record of the Barisan Nasional as called for even by this nation's longest serving former Premier, Tun Dr.Mahathir Mohamad, the Opposition stands alone against the mammoth corrupt BN Goliath that uses every dirty rotten trick in the book to clamp down upon the megabucks producing political power seats in both the State Assemblies and Parliament!
I hope no one in Ijok will complain later on after they have sold off their rights for fair governance there until the next GE for a pittance as some did in Machap!
RM200 as stated by the DAP where they took photos of such vote buying by agents of the BN and published the evidence in their websites and other blogs.
When even the former President of UMNO and Chairman of the BN for the 22 record breaking years of Premiership of Malaysia comes forth and asks the people of Ijok not to screw up their future, what can anyone else say to them?
People of Ijok and the rest of Malaysia, decide wisely and chart this nation's future or just shut the hell up and suffer in silence.
Change can be affected but it takes courage and strength of purpose to achieve it.
Nothing can change in our life's if we quiver in fear and leave it to Fate!
Are Malaysians able to do what's right? Let's all see what the voters in Ijok gonna do?

Daulat Tuanku! Daulat Tuanku! Daulat Tuanku!
May Almighty Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala bless HRH Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di Pertuan Agong XIII, Tuanku Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin ibni Almarhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah, the 16th Sultan of Terengganu, now installed as the 13th King of the Kingdoms of Malaysia.
May His Majesty's reign as our 13th Malaysian King bring about peace and harmony to this nation which has multi ethnic and multi faithed citizens with the Malays being the majority and living together with the Chinese, Indians, Sikhs, Orang Asli's, Ibans, Kadazans, etc.
May HRH Tuanku Mizan be blessed with the best of Iman, Amal and the Wisdom to rule over us with a firm but compassionate heart befitting His Majesty's position as the Sovereign Ruling King of Malaysia!
Amin Ya Rabbal Alameen. Daulat Tuanku!
Once again, we are blessed to have a Queen who knows how to cover Her Majesty's Aurat just like HRH Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Aishah, the consort of the late Sultan Salahudin , Sultan of Selangor, the much loved Agong of all time. I miss His Majesty! May Allah SWT bless his soul! Almarhum Tuanku was a good, kind hearted, King! We all loved him!
My sincere congratulations to HRH Raja Permaisuri Agong , Tuanku Sultanah Nur Zahirah for taking care of Her Majesty's aurat befitting a proper Muslimah and Queen of us all. May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala bless our King and Queen of Malaysia and their heir. Ameen.
I am also proud to know that our new King is also a 7th Dan Black Belt Taekwando fighter!
Now, how many countries can lay claim to have a warrior as their King or President?
Hehehehe...I am just itching to be naughty and gloat that my King can beat up your King or President anytime ...hell, even kick George Bush Jr out cold....hehehehe...
Tuanku Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin is also an expert equestrian and diver. What a role model!
Pity that this nation is run by a Constitutional Monarchy system where the Prime Minister is the Executive!
If only Malaysia was ruled by an absolute Monarchy like the Seri Paduka Baginda Tuanku Sultan Brunei Darussalam, now I would at any time vote for Seri Paduka Baginda Tuanku Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin to be the Malaysian counterpart!
Seri Paduka Baginda Tuanku Sultan Al Haj Hassanal Bolkiah is the only full powered Malay Sultan in the present world who rules the Sultanate of Brunei and calls the shots as a true blue Sultan should!
Anyway, as a citizen, I am proud to have Seri Paduka Baginda Tuanku Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin rule over us Malaysians !
Daulat Tuanku! Daulat Tuanku! Daulat Tuanku! Long live our Majesty ! Ameen.

Which party has been running the Malaysian Government since we got free from the British Colonial rule?
Is it not the Barisan Nasional which has been doing as they please as far as the governance of this country is concerned?
It has not been PAS, not the DAP or even the PKR which just came into being after Anwar Ibrahim was sacked from the Deputy Premiership by Dr.Mahathir in 1998.
All these 49 going on 50 years of nationhood, it has been the BN government that has seen Malaysia being rated so lowly in the Corruption Index of the world! Read about it here!
Corruption ranking slips
KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia fell five ranks to 44th place on Transparency International's 2006 Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) from 39th place last year, according to reports announced in Berlin yesterday.
Although Malaysia fell five spots, the number of economies in the index has also increased by five from 158 to 163, said Malaysian Society for Transparency and Integrity (Transparency International local chapter) president Tan Sri Ramon Navaratnam yesterday.
Malaysia fell to five points out of 10 compared with 5.1 points last year. Of 25 economies in the 2006 CPI Asia Pacific, Malaysia ranked 10th.
Finland ranked first in the CPI and Haiti the lowest.
“Malaysia’s weakened ranking is disappointing despite initiatives taken by the Government to combat corruption,” said Ramon.
“This could possibly be because the Malaysian Institute of Integrity (MII) and the National Integrity Plan were initiated in 2004 and were not considered in the report.
“There are weaknesses in the study methodology, such as some countries’ results being based on three studies, and others, like Malaysia, on nine.
“Despite weaknesses in the methods used, we have to admit that we have been on the decline in public perceptions.
“We are more convinced that the ACA must be independent.”
Since the index was based on perceptions, MII deputy president Mustafar Ali said it was up to Malaysians to come up with a better index.
Anti-Corruption Agency deputy director-general Datuk Zakaria Jaffar said the agency was independent and could investigate politicians, but people were not willing to come forward with information.
Zakaria said the ACA had prepared the curriculum for schools and hoped that it would become a subject next year.
Staff were trained to do forensic accounting and were now profiling individuals and companies, he said.
“In the past, we used to win only about 50% of court cases but now 70%, and we are now targeting 80%,” Zakaria said.
Before 2001, data available showed that 46 people were prosecuted compared with 71 cases this year alone, he said.
Just World president Dr Chandra Muzaffar said that to quell rumours about nepotism, politicians and their families should declare their assets but Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi recently said that there was no need for one.
“That was disappointing. They should be able to demonstrate that they are above board,” he said.
The annual CPI ranks countries in terms of degree to which corruption is perceived to exist among public officials and politicians.
The 2006 CPI pointed a strong correlation between corruption and poverty, with concentration of impoverished states at the bottom of the ranking.
“Corruption traps millions in poverty,” said Transparency International Chair Huguette Labelle in a statement.
“Despite a decade of progress in establishing anti-corruption laws and regulations, results indicate much remains to be done before we see meaningful improvements in the lives of the world’s poorest citizens,” she said.
Countries with significant improvement are Algeria, Czech Republic, India, Japan, Latvia, Lebanon, Mauritius, Paraguay, Slovenia, Turkey, Turkmenistan and Uruguay.
Year in, year out, we have the same corrupt fellas telling us all cock and bull stories about someone else who is wrong.
Every major corruption case involving the Cabinet Ministers and the very top leadership of the BN government has never been properly charged in court and to this date, not one major shark out of the 18 extra big ones has yet to be brought before the justice system!
Ladies and Gentlemen, fellow Malaysians, especially those of you in Ijok, take all that in consideration when you cast your votes.
Are you going to return a known corrupt government again or are you ready to make a change in your nation's future?
The choice is clearly yours.
Greetings Mr. Anil,
It's a pleasure to come across your blog. You were the one who wrote the report on Karpal Singh apologizing to my taking him to task at the Forum Keadilan in Dewan Sri Pinang, way back in 1999.
Do you still have the report?
Would be much obliged if you could email me a copy.
Thank you sir.

Azizah receives a rapturous reception in George Town while Karpal apologises if he had hurt the feelings of Muslims
by Anil Netto and R.K. Surin
8.30 pm, Monday, 1 February 1999
Dewan Sri Pinang, Penang The 4,000-strong crowd at the auditorium fell silent - you could hear a pin drop - as veteran DAP politician Karpal Singh walked slowly up to the rostrum to respond to a politically charged question from the floor.
A Muslim member from the audience had asked Karpal to explain his previous strong stand against the setting up of an Islamic state in Malaysia.
Almost a decade ago, Karpal had ruffled PAS members when he declared that there would be "an Islamic state over my dead body." PAS' goal of setting up an Islamic state has, in the past, been a stumbling block in attempts to forge a united opposition front with the DAP.
"I was very hurt by your remarks," said the Muslim who had dashed to the mike as soon as the question-and-answer session started to ask Karpal to explain his stand.
Baiting Karpal, someone in the crowd yelled, "Tarik balik!" (withdraw the remarks), adding to the pressure on the DAP leader.
How would Karpal handle this delicate situation?
For the first time, a DAP forum had succeeded in drawing large numbers of Malays - a mix of ADIL supporters, disenchanted UMNO members, and PAS faithfuls, all exuberant and high-spirited - besides the usual non-Malays and NGO activists who had come in the spirit of Reformasi.
Would Karpal put the Muslims off again? Indeed, the DAP veteran's response would have a significance that would extend far beyond the confines of the packed auditorium: it could either further cement or break the new-found sense of unity among opposition parties.
"We in the DAP are not anti-Islam," Karpal began. "If I had hurt anyone by my past remarks, I apologise."
At this, sections of the audience - probably Muslims - burst into applause. One Malay following the proceedings over one of the closed circuit screens outside shot a 'thumbs up' sign.
Karpal explained that the Constitution regards Islam as the official religion. "We accept that," he continued, but pointed out that the Constitution also provided that all other religions may be professed in peace and harmony. "All religions are for fairness and equality," he stressed. His remarks seemed to placate the Malays present.
This episode illustrates the underlying differences and tensions within the Reformasi movement, which comprises a whole spectrum of Malaysians of various ideological strands - Islamic groups, DAP supporters, pro-Anwar UMNO members, ADIL activists - seeking justice.
Indeed, the Islamic state issue is likely to be a stumbling block - though not an insurmountable one - in efforts to unite the various parties in the Reformasi movement.
Karpal went one step further and offered to provide free legal aid to relatives of victims of the Memali tragedy - a move that went down well among the Muslims in the crowd, one of whom had complained bitterly about the authorities handling of the incident in the mid-1980s.
Earlier that evening, as we were driving to the Dewan for the 'Justice for All' forum, we got stuck in a massive jam about a kilometre away from the venue. The police were deployed at a road-block and were scrutinising each vehicle.
"Oh no," we thought "Here they go again ...." On our left was a red sporty Proton Satria - with a big Reformasi sticker on its back windscreen. On our right, another car - with a "Justice for Anwar" sticker. We were on the right track....
The police "checked" our road tax, and then, hurriedly waved us through. "What a relief!"
After parking near the venue, we hurried across to the Dewan. Already scores of people were making a beeline for the hall. The talk was to start at 8.30 pm, but by 8.15, the organisers could not admit any more people as the hall was already packed with about 1,500 people.
We had a look around outside - four close-circuit television sets had been placed at strategic locations outside the hall and huge crowds had already gathered around them.
Looking around, we spotted friends and colleagues who had all along been secret - and unlikely - Reformasi supporters.
It was like a big "coming-out" party - people whom you never expected to be there were there, including many middle-class Malays: it was like innocent employees by day, Reformasi supporters by night.
Faced with a huge crowd pressing in, the organisers finally relented and opened the doors for everyone. A sea of humanity surged into the already packed air-conditioned auditorium. By now, it was standing room only.
On stage were DAP secretary general Lim Kit Siang, Karpal, poet-cum-human rights lawyer Cecil Rajendra, journalist and ADIL protem committee member Rustam Sani and…the biggest attraction of them all, Dr Wan Azizah!
Still, the crowd kept streaming in.... Already Malays, Chinese and Indians had filled the hall to bursting point.
So packed was the auditorium that the organisers resorted mid-way through the forum to inviting women who were standing to come up on stage to sit on rows of seats placed behind the speakers.
The Chinese guy on my right was reading Harakah and then turned behind to the Malay gentleman seated behind me to start an animated political discussion.
Elsewhere in the hall, others were engrossed reading Aliran Monthly!
Someone said that he had seen the Penang chief of police in uniform coming in earlier to take a seat in the hall.
The police presence was barely noticeable although a few police trucks were discreetly parked outside. Still, the place must have been swarming with plainclothes police personnel!
When Azizah entered the hall, people of all ethnic groups rose to their feet as one, chanting "Reformasi!"
The auditorium shook with their thunderous heart-thumping cries. Those near Azizah mobbed her, photographers jostled and cameras flashed. The crowd broke out in rapturous applause, as she inched her way forward to the stage.
More and more, it seems that Azizah, who heads the new Social Justice Movement (Adil), is the only person who can bring together all the different strands in the Reformasi movement.
"It was electrifying - that this humble person could command so much admiration from the crowd," observed an Aliran member in the audience, of the superstar reception that Azizah received.
There was no doubting who the crowd's favourite was, despite the presence of veteran politicians such as Karpal and Kit Siang, on whose home turf in Tanjong sits the Dewan Sri Pinang.
The organisers kicked off the evening by thanking the Police for allowing the talk to go ahead (credit has to be given where it's due).
Rustam recounted the injustice surrounding his father's detention in the 1960s, while Cecil spoke as a concerned Malaysian citizen about recent disturbing political developments and ended his speech with a couple of stirring poems.
When it was Azizah's turn to speak, she greeted the crowd in Mandarin "Ni how mah?" (how are you?) in typical Anwarian style.
In a soft, soothing, almost mesmerising voice, she recounted the ordeal that she and her family had to go through after Anwar was sacked as deputy prime minister. When she saw the multi-ethnic crowd present that night, she said it gave her hope.
Allaying the uncertainty hanging over Chinese Malaysians, she stressed that the Reformasi movement does not condone rioting or violence from any side.
Quoting from Confucius, she spoke about taking "the middle-path," about not going to extremes. Above all, she envisioned a Malaysia that is peaceful, harmonious and prosperous, and one that is free from corruption and abuse of power. The crowd hung on to her every word.
Kit Siang was the last to speak. He highlighted his son Guan Eng's plight in prison and the exorbitant highway tolls following privatisation - or 'piratisation" as he calls it.
Throughout the evening, one or two people in the audience would pepper the proceedings with shouts of 'Undur Mahathir!' (Mahathir, resign) at which the crowd would laugh.
Outside, vendors did brisk business selling the by-now famous Reformasi iced drinks and a host of Reformasi paraphernalia: books, magazines, tapes…
Someone was even selling T-shirts with the message 'No matter how hopeless…" on the front. At the back was written, "we will never surrender" with a portrait of Anwar raising a clenched fist.
That night in Penang was a beginning - and an important one.
For the first time, Malays including PAS members had thronged a DAP event on Penang island, turning it into a multi-ethnic event.
For the first time, DAP leaders had addressed a DAP forum in Penang island almost entirely in Bahasa Malaysia.
For the first time, Wan Azizah had addressed a major public forum in the heart of Georgetown, bringing the message of Reformasi to a predominantly ethnic Chinese area.
The questions relating to Islamic issues raised by PAS members during the question-and-answer session appeared to make some of the non-Muslims feel a little uneasy.
But the very fact that PAS members were at a DAP talk in large numbers and raising issues peacefully was a significant breakthrough in forging a multi-religious and multi-ethnic opposition.
It also marked a logical progression in the Reformasi movement to a stage where differences are not glossed over but tackled honestly and forthrightly.
The process of exploring what Malaysians have in common - a quest for justice based on universal values - while recognizing, accepting and respecting differences in ideology may be painful at times.
But the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow - a new society founded on the ideals of justice and truth - promises to make that journey well worth the effort.
If there is one Englishman who comes across as the best example of a Muslim, it is Brother Yusuf Islam, a former pop star who has been consistent in his Dakwah al Islamiah to the people of his nation @ England and the entire world.
His rendition of 'The Last Prophet' remains one of my favourite audio clips for all time. The way he calls out the Azan is simply fabulous and so very melodious.
Another gem of a nasyeed sung by him is the Tala'al Badru 'Alayna. Enjoy the clip.
May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala reward him accordingly. Amin.
Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
The Seeker of Salvation
by Zainol Abideen
The realization of one's internal quest to know more about the Oceans of Knowledge in Islam starts first as a murmur in one's heart that one needs to go seek such knowledge from the Masters and Syaikhs of the Higher Realms of 'Ilm.
In my case, I started to delve deeper into the Realm of Sufism when I first came to learn about it from my friend Haji Mohd Yassin, a mureed of Syaikh Nazim Adil Al Haqqani Al Qubrusi An Naqshabandi. This episode of my life took place back home in Penang.
Syaikh Nazim is the 40th Warith of the Order of the Naqsyabandi Tariqah going back all the way to Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam.
I took my Bai'ah @ Oath of Allegiance from Syaikh Nazim's Khalifah and younger brother, Shaikh Adnan Adil al Haqqani al Qubrusi an Naqsyabandi in the Naqsyabandi Zawiyya in Bukit Jambul, Penang. I wrote about this here.
The Fatwa Council of Malaysia have issued a decree against the Order of the Tariqah Naqsyabandi headed by Syaikh Nazim originally from Lebanon but now residing in Lefke, Cyprus.
Yes, the 'authorities' of Malaysia have deemed the Tariqah led by Syaikh Nazim to be not to their liking.
The thing is that they @ the 'religious authorities' themselves are deaf, dumb and blind to many fitnah and maksiat that takes place right before their very eyes and knowledge ; yet they fail to do nothing to eradicate such vices!
It's easy to issue decrees and judge others to be deviants in this and that but when there is no proactive actions from their parts those scholars just end up being talkers and not do'ers.
They just sit in their air conditioned offices from 9 to 5 and then retire to their plush bungalows provided by the government which they try their best not to annoy or inconvenience with their decrees.
Is it any mystery that this country is going way down as far as social and moral issues are concerned when we have such kind masquerading as the 'ulamaks' of this nation?
So to me as a Muslim, I leave my fate to Allah the Most High, who knows me best rather than I pay any attention to such 'decrees' by these latter day 'scholarly' beings who adorn themselves with all kinds of certificates and self recognized attainments of 'Islamic Jurisprudence'.
The Holy Messenger, Muhammad ibni Abdullah, the Unlettered Prophet never laid claim to be nothing more than Allah's Messenger ; never studied at any school, college or university.
He never admitted to being the best there is amongst the entire humankind yet we all know that if not for him, Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala would not have created this world and all the Universe and all the hidden realms of existence that we humanbeings have yet to discover save for what Allah reveals to us.
Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam, the Beloved of Allah Azza Wa Jalla, remains to be the Greatest Messenger of Allah and to this day, there is none worthy for us to follow and emulate save for the Holy Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam, Khatamun Nabiyyil Ummi, al Mustafa, Habibullah, Muhammad Al Amin.
As regards to the matter of the Tariqah deemed to be deviant from the agreed upon Principles of Islamic Practices, I think it is more a matter of individual interpretations of what's lawful and what's considered to be bida'ah.
I admit that I have myself frowned upon some over adulations by some mureeds upon the person of the Syaikh's and Mursheed's of the Tariqah which might be the cause of the reasons why the religious authorities deem the Tariqah to be deviant.
It is the fanatical attitude of some mureeds who overdo some actions that give birth to fitnah upon the Tariqah as a whole.
A case in particular that I observed is the act of certain mureeds who stitched a piece of soft leather into a form of an triangular amulet containing a folded piece of paper upon which was printed a diagram of verses of the Qur'an and dhikr. Some even placed a photo of the Syaikh together with that 'rajah'. Na'uzu billahil aliyyil azhim. God Forbid!
This is one of the many acts which brings disrepute to the blessed Paths of Religious Knowledge through the Tariqahs and Sufi Orders.
To do that act of placing one's hopes of protection from harm by relying on an image of the Syaikh and a piece of paper is a clear act of Syirik against Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala thus qualifying one to be deemed as a deviant from Islam!
I have tried explaining to that mureed his mistake by doing that act but it was of no use. He refused to listen to reason and was adamant that he was right. To him his path to salvation rests upon how much he venerates the Syaikh and goes overboard in his devotion to a being whom he should follow in the devotion to Almighty God but sadly, the mureed adulates the Syaikh instead of the Rabb.
One major cause of such misadventure in observing the path of devotion to Allah is the Sufi practice of 'Rabitah As Shaikh' @ focusing on the person of the Syaikh to be the intermediary of the Almighty.
This act opens up the doorway to committing Kuffur towards Allah by associating to Him an intermediary.
Allah does not need an intermediary for us as Insan to beseech Him or Seek His Mercy and Forgiveness.
This act of some Tariqah's requiring the Sufi mureed to take his Syaikh as an intermediate in the mureed's journey towards attaining Peace and Salvation with His Lord is another reason why the Tariqah's get into trouble with the religious authorities.
Islam is what the Prophet of God shared with us through the Revelations of the Al Qur'an Al Kareem and through his authentic Hadeeths, related to us word for word by his Sahabah's @ Companions and verified through the passage of Time by the scholars of Islam, the Ulamak.
The Seeker of Salvation through the years comes into the Realm of Sufism by many Orders of Tariqah's.
There are many different Orders that each claims to be authentic and goes back to the Order received from the Holy Prophet himself through either members of his blessed family or through the Sahabah's.
So, I find myself questioning as to why this over adulation of the Shaikh has been done by his overzealous Khalifah's?
None on this Earth can supersede Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam in terms of being nobler than him, the greatest of all beings created by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala!
Narrated Anas Radhiallahu Anhu ( May the Blessings of Allah be upon him) :
The Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam said :
" On the Day of Resurrection, the Believers will assemble and say, ' Let us ask somebody to intercede for us with our Lord.'
So they will go to Adam (Alaihis Salam) and say,' You are the Father of all people, and Allah created you with His Own Hands, and ordered the Angels to prostrate themselves to you, and taught you the names of all things; so please intercede for us with your Lord, so that He may relieve us from this place of ours.'
Adam Alaihis Salam will say,' I am not fit for this (i.e. intercession for you). Then Adam Alaihis Salam will remember his sin and feel ashamed thereof. He will say,' Go to Nuh Alaihis Salam (No'ah) for he was the first Messenger Allah sent to the inhabitants of the Earth.'
They will go to him and Nuh AS (No'ah) will say,' I am not fit for this undertaking.' He will remember his appeal to his Lord to do something of which he had no knowledge, then he will feel ashamed thereof and will say,' Go to Khalil-ur-Rahman' [i.e. Ibrahim AS (Abraham)].
They will go to him and he will say,' I am not fit for this undertaking.' Go to Musa AS (Moses), the slave to whom Allah SWT spoke (directly) and gave him the Taurat (Torah).'
So they will go to him and he will say,' I am not fit for this undertaking', and he will mention (his) killing a person who was not a killer, and so he will feel ashamed thereof before his Lord, and he will say,' Go to 'Isa AS (Jesus), Allah's slave, His Messenger and Allah's Word and a spirit created by Him **(Kun Fa Ya Kun).
When they go to him, 'Isa AS (Jesus) will say,' I am not fit for this undertaking, go to Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam, the slave of Allah SWT, whose past and future sins were forgiven by Allah SWT.'
So they will come to me and I will proceed till I ask my Lord's Permission and I will be given permission.
When I see my Lord, I will fall down in prostration and He will let me remain in that state as long as He wishes and then I will be addressed.
''(Muhammad!) 'Raise your head. Ask, and your request will be granted; say, and your saying will be listened to; intercede, and your intercession will be accepted.'
I will raise my head and praise Allah with a saying (i.e. invocation) He will teach me , and then I will intercede.
He will fix a limit for me (to intercede) whom I will admit into Paradise. Then I will come back again to Allah, and when I see my Lord, the same thing will happen to me.
And then I will intercede and Allah will fix a limit for me (to intercede) whom I will admit into Paradise, then I will come back for the third time; and then I will come back for the fourth time, and will say,' None remains in Hell but those whom the Qur'an has imprisoned(in Hell) and who have been destined to an eternal stay in Hell."
(The compiler) Abu Abdullah said :' But those whom the Qur'an has imprisoned in Hell' refers to the Statement of Allah Azza Wa Jall ; " To abide therein....V : 16: 29 ) "
Sahih Al Bukhari Vol.6 Hadith No.3
So states the authentic Hadith that none save the Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam will be given the authority by Allah SWT to intercede on behalf of the Ummah who are Believers when the Day of Reckoning comes to be.
I mean no disrespect to the Syaikhs of the Tariqahs but to attribute to them the authority to intercede on our behalf is crossing the station reserved for the Holy Messenger above all other Messengers and Prophets of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
As such, the Sufi mureed needs to know the limits of respect and authority of the Syaikh's and not go overboard with their adulations which must be in accordance with the levels of their stature before Allah SWT and Rasul Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam and Sahabatu Rasulillahi Ajma'in.
Sufism is good for the soul and the purification of the nafs but it doesn't mean one simply rushes into things and gobbles up each and every thing that the Tariqah's leaders dishes out to us.
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala has given us the Faculty of Reasoning and to figure things out. So, make full use of it while you still can. You need to go about it a step at a time.
Think it over, check it up . Research the Qur'an. Delve through the Hadiths. Search through the Internet. Confirm with your religious teachers. Recheck their replies with the Qur'an and Hadiths. Insya Allah, you will come to an understanding of it.
At the end of the day, we will all have to answer for our own deeds. Those who do good shall taste their rightful rewards and those who play people out here on Earth will receive their just dues in the Hereafter, no matter who they are or what they label themselves.
Awliya's or Anbiya's including. Remember that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala knows us best!
Will share more later when I get to it. Insya Allah.

I mean, the repercussions from the unfounded gossips lumping Uptrend together with all those schemes did hurt those of us who are Uptrenders in our business building.
Malaysians are very easily influenced by gossips and rumors spread by those who come across as religious 'know it alls'. The result is often unwarranted speculations, libelous behavior and unfounded accusations and misunderstanding clouding the judgments and business decisions of the public.
I am relieved that people finally get to see that Uptrend Network is not a 'Get Rich Quick' scam or what they call a 'pyramid' scheme.
In this business, we need to do our bit to build our network. If anyone comes and joins Uptrend with whatever business package and then sit on their laurels, expecting money to flood their business accounts, then that person is just a dreamer. He or she needs to wake up from that mindset. Nothing doing.
This Uptrend Networking business is activity based. No activity in business building ; no money comes in. This is the reality of this business which can be carried out from your home or anywhere else.
Not everyone will understand this business. Many out there claim to be in the know about such business networking but in reality they are just those who failed in all their earlier business attempts and didn't really understand whatever business they were in or joined out of their need to make additional income and lead a better lifestyle.
Life is such that sometimes we fool ourselves by imagining that those mirages that we 'saw' before us evaporates into thin air and we find out that whatever business enterprise we rushed into was nothing but a figment of our imaginations.
You need to do your business fact finding before you jump in and get yourselves entangled in any 'fly by night' business opportunity.
If things sound 'too good to be true' then you must really watch out and not get 'stung' by those who come and promise you the skies and the heavens.
Do not be fooled by all those fliers being distributed by those who have vested interests. Those vested interests being nothing else but to coax you into joining them in their businesses but after you register yourselves into their 'team' ; leave you high and dry without the proper follow through.
Anyone can join whatever business they find interesting but the reality is that just rushing in and joining someone in the business does not guarantee you 'overnight success'.
There is work to be done. Business know how to be learned. Activities that need to be carried out. People that you need to go and see about this business. Money that needs to be forked out to pay for all those courses and business training. Investments to be made and skills to be acquired.
This is the reality that each and every business entrepreneur needs to know. Sometimes I hear some of my fellow business builders tell people 'Just wing it!' I beg to disagree.
Just joining someone and then finding that there are things you need to do and leadership skills that you need to have sorts of pushes them into a situation that they do not know what next they need to do?
I am building this business network the way I know best. Slowly but surely, inching forward to my goals by the day.
The recent 'halal haram' fatwa spewing syndrome by some smart alecs did serious damage to our business momentum but we persevered and we have come through the storm of doubts created by those attention seekers.
It's alright. I for one have always known that Uptrend is 'innocent of association' with all those scams. Ignorant ones will always be there , trying to ill speak about matters that they know not or only superficially.
Check us out at our official website. Our international website in English is here. My personal Uptrend official website is here. Those who want to read up about Uptrend in Malay can visit my blog about it here. What else do you need?

I will answer your queries and help you too to make additional halal 100% legal income through Uptrend Network.
People can say all that they want about this and that but you know that at the end of every month, it is you who has to pay all those bills that come your way...unless of course those 'smart alecs' are ready to pay those bills for you?
I would have no objections to that ever happening. Serious. You have my number, you now have my email address. If you can understand the truth of what I am saying, you know what you have to do.
Things won't change for us overnight but with a clear mind and a strong will or ambition, we can make it to the top with sheer determination and positive business build up to reach the summit!
Come join me in Team ZAINKING! We can do this ! It's all up to you and me. I am here for you.

'READY to BUST' is the meaning in English.
To do that you need to use 'FORCE'.
So, who's threatening to use force here? The BN or Opposition?
'SEDIA GEMPUR' has a menacing tone to those who understand the implications of carrying out the scare tactics of the BN 'hired muscle' who have actually assaulted members of the Opposition and have shed blood in the Machap By Election recently and now in Ijok!
It is a bloody shame for the BN to descend to such primitive measures of showing might and carry out such criminal intimidation and physical attacks so aggressively against citizens of this country who have all the rights to stand in opposition against the BN in a supposed to be free and democratic election!
If such is the way the Barisan Nasional Malaysian Government run this country and suppress dissent against their corrupt to the core rule over this nation since it gained Independence from the British Colonials, then the people of Malaysia are yet to be free from oppression!
Yes! We are not free yet in the truest sense. What difference is there between the present Oppressors in the BN camouflage from our past dictators and colonialists?
The only glaring difference might be the skin color and ethnicity of the Portuguese, British, Dutch, British again, Japanese, British one last time and now our own brand of Occupiers in native Malaysian colors!
We are not free to vote in those whom we feel can do a better job in running this country. We are not being allowed to vote without fear or favor.
We are facing intimidating tactics and gutter level aggressive oppressive BN manipulations to scare the Malaysian voters to return them to power by beating the crap out of the supporters and candidates of the Opposition!
Is this the kind of democracy that the BN ruling Government of Malaysia advocates? If they can't scare away the Opposition, they'll buy votes as shown by these photos taken by the DAP in the recent Machap by election.
Is gangsterism the fruit of spending billions of ringgits to sponsor and hire goon squads to bash up 'free citizens' of this blessed nation now going to the dogs because some corrupted minds are sucking the life out of this nation under pretext of 'Cemerlang, Gemilang, Terbilang' slogan crap?
Human beings have a tendency to defend themselves when pushed into a corner and the BN coalition know this only too well.
If they keep up these pressure and scare tactics, they know that some Opposition supporters are bound to snap and lose their cool and RETALIATE!
Now, that's what I think the BN is goading the Opposition towards.
Once the Opposition retaliate and smash back the roughnecks from the UMNO 'hardcore' goon squads, Briged Pemuda MIC and other lowlifes roped in to spark off an incident, then the 'official' FRU's will get their green light to go crack open some Opposition skulls and create the impression to those who are in the dark that it is the Opposition parties who are responsible for whatever fracas that takes place there in Ijok!
'SEDIA GEMPUR' marks the arrogance and the menacing approach of the BN leadership who will waste no efforts to break some bones and cause bloodshed in their desperate attempts to continue robbing this country blind and beat down the Opposition viciously whilst crying 'wolf'!
In this case, we all know who's the 'wolf' and who are the shepherded sheep ready to be slaughtered again and again in the name of 'democrazy' @ democracy gone crazy!
The internet here gives us a platform to reach out to the thinking citizens of this nation who now have access to information free from manipulation of the spinmasters of the BN controlled mass media.
This time around, the GE will no longer be a walk in the park for the BN goon squad.
This next GE will see the people of Malaysia get information straight from those of us who are Bloggers who have no vested interests or political aspirations but just want a fair and just alternative government and true independence from any corrupt coalition who have been oppressing Malaysians for so long.
'SEDIA GEMPUR' is so bloody revolting in it's menacing message to the people of Malaysia.
The question is 'Are Malaysians going to quiver in fear and stay indoors whilst criminals rampage through our rights and deny us a free government in the real sense or continue to be apathetic as to what is taking place before us?'
Remember Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala tells us that Allah will not change the Fate of us Mankind until we change it ourselves?
Those of you who are registered voters in Ijok, do the right thing. VOTE PKR!
That is if you have any sense of honor or dignity in you still after complaining all these while of the BN this , the BN that but still fail to exercise your right as a citizen of Malaysia.
You decide your future. You have the choice before you. Failing which, you should just forget about grumbling in your hearts and speak up against the 'SEDIA GEMPUR' goon squads.

The Opposition best be prepared to nurse bruises, suffer concussions and return from Ijok with scars as their trophy after running into the ruling coalition Barisan Nasional mobsters in leadership by example.
From the manner by which the N11 Ijok By Election is being carried out by the present government, I can just pray that blood will not be shed and life's lost because of the frantic desperation being showed by a ruthless gang headed by the likes of this 'champion' of the BN!
The terror being backed by the UMNO Goon Squad have already launched their bash them up campaign by assaulting the entourage of the Parti Keadilan Rakyat candidate, Tan Sri Datuk Khalid Ibrahim at the 8th Mile, Kg Ijok, 3.00pm today !
A blogger cum journalist and friend of Jeff Ooi suffered broken spectacles and lacerations close to his eye when a mineral water bottle was smashed into his face through the open car window thrown by an UMNO Youth as reported by Jeff Ooi!
This rising tension and violent behavior spells mayhem and tragedy due to erupt into a devastating free for all if not nipped in the bud by this nation's police force and security forces!
Does Abdullah Ahmad Badawi want bloodshed to take place in Ijok by not issuing stern orders to all taking part in the By Election at Ijok to exercise restraint and behave themselves?
Why is he being silent on this matter even though he's in Namibia at the moment?
Surely he can make a statement to the media there and have it broadcasted over the main TV stations here?
I know that the Opposition members are not made up of sissies as most Keadilan members are made up of ex Umno tough guys themselves. It just takes something to trigger their equal responses. Don't you push them too far! They might just smash you back!
The thing is how much more can they take before they lose their patience and return what has been hurled and smashed into their midst?
Are the authorities letting things slide into a more severe stage and an all out bash up take place?
Is Malaysia deteriorating into a land where Law & Order flies out the door when such by elections take place?
Are the BN willing to go down in history as the ones who are responsible for any loss of life's that will surely happen IF the Royal Malaysian Police are to rest upon their laurels and let the goons slug it out all for a few measly ringgits?
Are we all not civil anymore? Do we have to go break some skulls just to prove that we are the tough guys of this nation and scare away the citizens who have the absolute rights to vote whoever they like to represent them?
Are we so bloody mad and hungry for power that we forget all these position and wealth is just a temporary possession?
Death can come to any of us at anytime as we all know. This By Election is now possible because the incumbent State Assemblyman passed away in India, right?
Did he even expect to pass away overseas? Surely he didn't!!!
I am so pissed off to see these atrocities take place here in our nation, currently being the Organization of Islamic Countries presiding Chairman, yet the authorities fail to conduct this election in a manner befitting it's honorable position.
Is this gangsterism state sponsored? What the hell are the SPR and the PDRM waiting for?
Someone to die or be critically injured before they step in and stop this rot? Damn!!!
We Malaysians are watching what's taking place there in Ijok. The way this by election is being run will determine where the BN or the Opposition will be in the coming GE in 2008.
In the meantime, I ask that members of the public attending the events there in Ijok take safety precautions when being in crowds and to watch out for the agent provocateurs who would be spoiling for a fight or start one just to spoil the overall atmosphere of the electoral process.
Be prepared to dodge and duck or wear crash helmets or body armor underneath your clothes!
May Allah the Most Merciful protect those of you present in Ijok from the manipulations of those who are devious in their ways and forget that He oversees everything! Ameen.
PAS stands for the upholding of the Holy Al Qur'an Al Kareem as this nation's Supreme Constitution and total observance of the Hadith's of the Final Messenger of Allah, the Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam.
That is all fine with me and millions of likeminded Muslims here in Malaysia.
The thing is that sometimes it's easy for PAS to lose their focus and get carried away when their political aspirations get overladen with occasional emotional reactions, responses or clashes of opinions and issues with UMNO.
UMNO, the other main Malay Muslim based party is secular in it's political approach and they are the major power in the Barisan Nasional, the ruling coalition running the Government of Malaysia since Independence from Great Britain in 1957.
PAS has always been at loggerheads with UMNO and all these years has seen them take part in many vicious exchanges between their supporters and UMNO's.
As a result, PAS has not been able to make inroads into the other states that are in the West of the Peninsular. They have the most support from the voters only in the East coast States of Kelantan , Terengganu and in some parts of Kedah, Perak and Pahang.
PAS has only been able to win the State of Kelantan and get to hold on to it by a very slim margin. PAS lost Terengganu to the BN in the previous General Election.
What could be the reasons?
Frankly, I am a PAS supporter. I just do not go overboard in stating my support for PAS because I choose to exercise that support only during the General Elections or By Elections.
I have no political ambitions. I am content with blogging my viewpoints and share what I feel about events that take place in my nation. I just want to earn my income through my Uptrend Networking business and live a decent life with my spouse. That's all.
I want Malaysia to be a fair place for all to live in peace and harmony. Hence my concerns.
The problem I face in showing my support to PAS is due to the fact that even when I was living in Penang, my constituency was the Tanjong Parliamentary where PAS doesn't contest.
There are some things that I feel I have to share here as to what I see being the major downfalls of PAS and why they have yet to be able to capture the majority of the Malaysians hearts?
I believe them to be :
1. Image of the party
- PAS comes across to most Malaysians as a hardline 'fire and brimstones' political party. This image is further cemented into the minds and visualizations of the common citizen when the media portrays the leaders of PAS looking very angry, stern and unfriendly, speaking ferociously at the many "ceramah's" they hold to explain their stand on certain issues.
- Visual images of orators in an intimidating gesture or posture burns permanently into people's minds and this in turn puts off people from supporting PAS even if they can't stand the corrupt BN all these while.
- Malaysians especially those who aren't Muslims get scared off by such 'frightening' images and prefer the BN 'Devil' that they know and are used to rather than experiment with the 'fierce' PAS. So, all the 'branding' and image moulding done by the BN and their media manipulation has borne fruit in the minds of the Malaysian public further aided by the folks in PAS who failed to realize and sense their media slip ups.
- First impressions are lasting impressions yet those speakers and orators of PAS were blind to see the kind of image that their posturing and tantrums created in the views of the Malaysian electorate.
- A stern face never wins votes and PAS failed to correct their public image all these years. No one votes for any candidate who looks like he'll bite off your head if you cross him.
- PAS needs to undergo a total makeover in their personalities if they ever want to rule over us in the future. There's no other way but be sincere and amiable towards all Malaysians, irrespective of race or religion. Be more people friendly.
- PAS needs to be more diplomatic towards the people. PAS leaders need to wake up to the fact that Malaysians come in all races and creed.
- As we know that Islam is universal in it's nature and is Allah's complete system of living for all mankind, PAS needs to learn how to go about explaining it's stand about ruling according to the Principles of Islam which we know and believe to be fair to all and must be shown to be so in their day to day practice.
- PAS needs to share info with the people as to why it is implementing certain rules and laws in it's administration of the State of Kelantan and what it intends to uphold if it ever rules this nation in total?
- Dakwah @ Islamic Information Services needs to be carried out in a more consistent, systematic approach without going overboard in it's implementation.
- Be gentle and humane in carrying out educational programs and promotions to help Malaysians understand Islam for what it is and what it is not.
- Compassion and tolerance is the key word here. Practice Islam for what it is - a religion of peace and salvation. Be kind.
- Be consistent and professional. PAS needs to show Malaysians that it can rule over this nation in a consistent manner and be professional about it.
- No instances of corruption must take place in the state government which it controls.
- Kelantan ought to be made into a role model of what PAS is capable of turning a poor state into a well developed, corruption free showcase of what PAS intends to show the other states in Malaysia.
- The Lojing Highlands devastation sticks out like a raw thumb poking at PAS's claims of ruling by the Qur'an. Practice what you preach!
- PAS needs to do damage control here. Order those culprits who bulldozed the highlands bald to replant the entire area.
- Haul those responsible to court and punish them according to the laws of this nation as PAS has not been given the mandate and autonomy to rule by the Qur'an by the Federal Government of the Barisan Nasional.
- There's no point of wanting to rule over the entire 13 states of Malaysia if they can't do a good job there in Kelantan.
- I mean, get the State of Kelantan out of the poverty trap many find themselves in and be just to all Kelantanese, irrespective whether they belong to UMNO, MCA, MIC, DAP, PKR, PAS or whatever political party?
- When PAS proves itself to be a fair, just unbiased political party to all Kelantanese and helps raise the living conditions of all it's people , then the people will show their support and gratitude when it's time to cast their votes in the GE.
Why do I say so? Well, just wait and see what's gonna transpire in the next week pending the polling day on April the 28th.
History has seen Goliath brought down by a puny David many a times and even the example of the War of Badr during the early days of the Prophet Muhammad's struggle against all odds with his tiny army of 313 committed Muslims against the mammoth 10,000 over strong Makkan Qureisyh Pagan Army saw how through sheer willpower, victory can be achieved by the underdogs of any nation in whatever circumstances.
The thing is, are the Malaysians in Ijok capable of creating a turning point in the history of this nation which is about to turn 50 in age this year in the N11 Ijok April 2007 By Election?
Ijok residents ought not fear that development will not come to their place.
Already the BN machinery are not gonna sleep for they are under orders to tar every road, sweep clean and repair every drain and sewer, clear every brush, light up every street and roads leading to and out of this State Assembly constituency.
Side benefits of having the local State Assemblyman or Member of Parliament returning to Almighty Allah? These By Elections are a blessing in disguise for many.
The grass will be cut, roads swept, civic halls refurbished and RM36,000,000.00 worth of hastily approved projects carried out as this By Election's bribe of the year!
Yes, as we all know , this has been and always will be the modus operandi of the BN, Malaysia's ruling coalition party which never fails to bulldoze the Opposition aside except in the East Coast States of Kelantan and Terengganu.
Terengganu has been won back by the BN in the last General Elections by their usual greasing of the palms and winning over of some key players and kingmakers in the state.
Ijok now poses a challenge for the BN to retain their stranglehold over the rural areas with their immense financial clout and political power that can make or break any current or future development projects planned for the areas.
It's not an easy task for the Opposition to face up to the billions of ringgits available through the ruling governments arsenal of lubricating away any hiccups that might arise from this By Election.
Money is always a powerful element in winning over the hearts and minds of the fence sitters and it has been proven again and again in the history of political manipulations in the elections that have been held in Malaysia.
The PKR have a lot of issues that they can use to fight their cause in this Ijok By Election. Many events have taken place after Abdullah Badawi took over power from Tun Dr.Mahathir Mohamad in 2003.
The petrol price hikes by Abdullah Badawi's government still burns a hole in many Malaysians pockets and we still seethe in our hearts everytime the petrol gauge nears empty and the red fuel pump icon lights up!
The way ordinary kampong folks were treated shabbily and bashed up when their homes were bulldozed by the local authorities still makes our hearts bleed and weep for them. Khir Toyo's lackadaisical way of handling such folks still smarts some of us in our hearts to this day.
The way our environment is being raped and bulldozed to make way for 'development's whilst filling up the bank accounts of all those parasites in power infuriates those of us who love this nation and are angry at the dismissive manners by which these hypocrites pooh pooh away our complaints.
They zoom in on all that happens in Kelantan whilst conveniently overlook similar transgressions that take place right under their watch in all other states in the Peninsular , Sabah and Sarawak.
Every main news has a special slot to lambast the only state ruled by the Opposition Islamic Party of Malaysia @ PAS.
Ijok will be the litmus test of whether the voters there have enough mettle to exercise their rights to have a fair and just representative in the State Assembly or just vote in another 'rubberstamp' ADUN who will just while away his time during his tenure or champion their cause effectively as they expect him to be?
This coming week will see all the top guns of the BN and the Opposition camp out in the constituency and promise the skies and the heavens to all registered voters in Ijok.
I hope for change and justice to prevail in this beloved nation of mine. The way things are going in this nation just scares the hell out of us who are mere citizens of Malaysia.
The major difference now is that we have the internet to express our views about what we see take place here in this nation unlike before.
Will, the people in Ijok do a 'Badr' against the mighty BN? Let's just see what unravels there?
The tremendous pressure to retain and go all out to keep their hold on power in Ijok, manifests itself on the faces and gestures of the BN Youth Leaders as shown here in these pictures.
Here is the Malaysian Education Minister cum UMNO Youth Chief Dato Seri Hishamudin Tun Hussein Onn and his Deputy Khairy Jamaludin shouting and threatening the Opposition supporters!
Leadership through example? No wonder we have our students going crazy nowadays!
Hishamudin Tun Hussein Onn needs to realise that he is the bloody 'EDUCATION MINISTER' of this country!
An Education Minister doesn't go around shouting until the veins are about to burst from his neck! This is a shameful episode in the history of Education Ministers in this country.
What a tragedy having roughnecks masquerading as being in charge of our nation's academics?
Personally, I really wish that the post of Education Minister be given to those who are from the academics field.
We ought to know that a country's future depends on it's education ministry's policies and leadership.
Hishamudin's antics have brought disrepute and ridicule to the respectable Ministry of Education.
Is he trying to teach the youth and students of this nation that it's okay to go behaving like a ruthless gangster later on in their adult life's by following his example? Damn! What a waste?
I thought Khairy Jamaludin, being the Malaysian Prime Minister's Son in Law and reported to be a billionaire should come across as a well groomed, tip top looking gentleman, worthy of his stature.
This picture however shows KJ to be so shabby looking with unkempt hair and looking very scrabby!
Can't Khairy pay for a haircut and look smart? He surely can afford to pay the highest haircut fees in the world if he chooses to. Really terrible of him to look so !
Top it off with unruly behaviour and one wouldn't be able to differentiate him with rabble rousers from some slum or ghetto, causing havoc at the Ijok Nomination Day!
Khairy Jamaludin ought to know that he is not an ordinary youth from some backward area anymore.
He is the Son in Law of the current Malaysian Premier.
Start behaving and looking as one young man!
No matter how corrupt the present government is or how notorious is the BN's record of sweeping all sins of their ministers under the carpet, leaders such as KJ and Hishamuddin Tun Hussein Onn must always remember to behave as proper gentlemen when in the public areas.
I wouldn't be surprised to see the behaviour as shown here by this Briged Pemuda MIC because the guy is just acting as expected from the likes of him.
He is just expressing himself the way he is used to as taunting and making monkey faces is just run of the mill for youths everywhere in the world who are still kids grown up.
He will soon disappear from the public eye and be forgotten by all.
Can't say the same about Khairy Jamaluddin can we?
His Father in Law is no 'Estate Joe' or ' Pakcik Kampong'.
As being Abdullah Ahmad Badawi's Son in Law, KJ needs to portray an image of proper behaviour befitting his position.
Sad to say, if this is what we the public are to expect from his likes if he ever gets to be the Premier of this nation, Malaysia can forget about an illustrious future.
Ruffians in office doesn't spell good for this country.
It makes no difference if your father was the former Prime Minister of this multi ethnic, multi faithed nation of 26 million Malaysians, if one behaves like a common gangster, making wild gestures and shouting like madmen at your fellow citizens who just happen to be the Opposition party members and supporters.
People judge you by how you behave! Period.
Politics in a democracy does not have to be a show of who's meaner, dirtier or more ruthless in behaviour.
The BN can't expect Malaysians to just keep on kowtowing to them year in , year out!
Lots of corruption cases lie filed up untouched and ignored for far too long.
All we hear is rhetoric of 'Cemerlang, Gemilang and Terbilang!' In reality , it's all pure 'Temberang'. You agree?
People are simply pissed off by the BN's lack of will to prosecute and punish all the lawbreakers since this country achieved Independence in 1957!
Every time we have an election, the BN sends out it's 'goon Squad' to intimidate the Opposition and we see some poor sods get bashed up by these hired muscle!
What bloody hell kind of democracy is this? We Malaysians deserve better.
You can't keep scaring people away!
I am expressing my support for the Opposition in this by election. It's time we uphold our rights to have the country be run by the Opposition for a change.
Our life's have been oppressed by draconian laws which are biased and unjust far too long!
People of Ijok, Kuala Selangor, "Vote for the Opposition !" It's high time you regain your dignity!
Let the BN know that you can't be bought by instant remedies to your place except by responsible governance and fair treatment to all Malaysians by the ruling government.
The BN won't be toppled by this by election if you vote for the PKR candidate but they will wake up and take notice of you if you cross that PKR logo in your ballot paper. Do the right thing!
VOTE FOR THE OPPOSITION! You can do it! Vote for the people's choice.
Uptrend Network Sdn.Bhd. has a new Chairman in the person of the former Deputy Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Domestic Trade & Consumer Affairs, Government of Malaysia effective from the 1st of April, 2007.
We welcome Yg Bhg. Dato' Khairuddin bin Mohd Sari to lead the # 1, Networking Business in Malaysia to greater heights and be our company's catalyst to achieve even more astounding success in making Uptrend, the best Malaysian MLM company for all time!
Yg Bhg Dato' Raja Nong Chik bin Dato' Raja Zainal, our former Chairman has moved on to be the Chairman of Uptrend's associate company, Smartlink International Sdn.Bhd.
We express our heartfelt gratitude to Yg Bhg. Dato' Raja Nong Chik for having brought Uptrend to be where it is today with our dynamic kick ass Management Team.
To all my fellow Uptrenders, keep on going with full power, knowing that Uptrend is now even stronger and better than ever with this new leadership.
We have been proved to be a 100% legitimate and above all those internet based scams promoting 'get rich quick' fly by night schemes.
The Securities Commission has published the entire list of the businesses which run foul of the law.
Log in to our official website and click on to the non flash system and click on to MALAYSIA.
Uptrend has released the Utusan Malaysia's report on the entire list of those 'get rich quick' schemes. See for yourselves and know that we at Uptrend have nothing to do with such scams.
I know that there will always be those who refuse to see the truth and continue to bad mouth us even when it has been proven that Uptrend has been proven to be a 100% HALAL in our networking business.
Uptrenders found themselves in a fix recently due to the irresponsible blanket ruling by certain overzealous fatwa spewers who just made statements saying this and that without taking into consideration about those of us who are carrying out this halal business.
We have now been proven to be above all those scams and yet I know that these egoistic attention seekers will not apologize to us who have been victimized by their actions.
These people who issue statements that have libeled networkers like us have never ever felt any remorse or repented over their transgressions. They have bloated egos that has never subsided and never said 'Oops! We are sorry!'
I have yet to see any apology coming from the likes nor do I even expect these 'diarrhea of the lips' fatwa spewers to repent.
The truth is already splashed across all the media and we have been vindicated yet not one of these fellas has given us any thought or apologized to us. May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala give them their dues.
To all those who got scammed by the internet schemes, learn from your mistakes. If you still want to improve your financial situations, come join me in earning a legitimate and halal income through Uptrend Network.

Well, at last I can gladly smash back at those idiots who keep badmouthing Uptrend Networks as a pyramid scheme or one of the internet 'get rich quick' scams!Sometimes, it is useless to try talk some sense into these numbskulls for their evil hearts and black souls will never accept that Uptrend Networks has nothing to do with all the 'illegal deposit taking' web based investment websites.
Some people are beyond help and should just be left to rot internally in their mindsets and let them go to waste.
I am not one who likes to waste my precious time trying to enlighten these nincompoops for it is useless to try and make sense to such people. There are a few who have nothing better to do than to libel networkers as being involved in pyramid schemes. Wake up you idiots!
If you're fixated on the pyramids, go to Egypt and go hug one of those ancient square blocks. Do me a favor ; don't come back!
To the rational beings reading this, here is the list of the schemes that have been identified by the Securities Commission of Malaysia suspected to be involved with illegal deposit takings.
Now, what more do I have to say to those who keep badmouthing Uptrend Networks, except to tell them to go to hell as I don't know what else to say to these constipated minds except to say that I hope that God gives them their due, soon...very, very soon. Amen.
