Part of the Do'a Iftitah

"Verily my solats, my ibadah, my life and my death I surrender to Almighty Allah, Creator and Lord of all the worlds. Never will I associate anything with Him. So am I commanded and I am of those who are Muslims."

Surah An Nahl (Chapter 16 Verse 125) Holy Al Quran Al Kareem.

" Invite (all Mankind) to the Way of your Lord (Islam) with Wisdom and Beautiful Preaching and Reason (discuss, argue, debate) with them ( Non Muslims and Muslims -deviant, innovators, liberals, alike) in a Way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the Best Knower of those who are guided."

Malaysian Muslims Have a Choice! No more excuses!

I refer to the Berita Harian report about banning Muslims from working in bars and related to the posting I did regarding Malay Muslim bartenders recently!

All these while, what have the Islamic Affairs Department @ JAKIM been doing about this?

Why is it that in this country, no one government agency or department has the initiative to carry out preemptive actions against anyone who goes against the tenets of the faith and only wait till someone else raises the alarm or lodges a report against anything before they get their fat butts off their cushy seats in their airconditioned offices and go do something concrete about it as they have been paid or obliged to do so?

Is it some kind of a disease or malady that afflicts all those who are supposed to be the ones in charge of the Islamic affairs of this nation?

Can we blame it on their genes or DNA structure? Or is it a plain case of sheer apathy towards the fate or state of affairs concerning the ignorants amongst the Malay masses of Malaysia?

This problem however is not just affecting the Malaysian Malay Muslims. It is a major affliction that corrodes and corrupts all other nationalities and even those from Arab nations are guilty of such tendencies to look the other way and ignore the various 'maksiat' that takes place before their very eyes!

Muslims just do not give a damn anymore about the fate of their fellow Muslims, what more go out on a limb to try stop any of the sins being perpetrated by all those ignorant fools out there in the world.

Everyone thinks, ' Eleh...Why should I trouble myself advising so and so? Not that they are my kith and kin? To hell with them!'

What if each and every Muslim here in Malaysia starts thinking the same? Hell, the nation's Muslims would slowly but surely be phased out from their position here in this 'Golden Chersonese' blessed land.

Last night, I was taking the escalator up in Suria KLCC. Before me was a young Malay couple. The woman was wearing a tudung and the man she was with was wearing the 'hip hop' baggy jeans with spiky gelled hair. The woman was the one who was overwhelmingly 'itchy' and having her hands roaming all over the fella's butt and elsewhere.

This was taking place right before me and hundreds of others taking the jampacked escalator. The couple were behaving as if they were all alone and 'married' which obviously they were not!

I sounded them off right there and then :

'Assalamualaikum saudara! Ini tempat awam! Awak berdua ni orang Islam , kan? Beradab lah sikit! Bukan begini cara orang Mukmin berkelakuan!

Dah kahwin ke belum? ( To which he shook his head - I sounded like those infamous JAIS raids on the khalwat couples- but which I just couldn't stomach seeing the vulgar behavior of the two in public)

Kalau dah kahwin, buat le ikut sesuka hati kamu -tapi didalam bilik- bukan di-khalayak umum macam ni!'

He apologized and both stopped misbehaving there and then. Both sheepishly lopped off in a hurry and disappeared into the crowd.

Several people nodded to me in acknowledgment and supported my action.

The thing is, how many of us are willing to speak up against such social and moral misbehaviors?

Not many. Some of us might ask, hello..why become moral police? I say 'why not '?

Our indifference all these while is the root cause of all the social ills plaguing this nation.

The nation is progressing in terms of infrastructure ( despite all the ceiling collapses and caving in's in the government buildings, highway crackups, etc.) but deteriorating rapidly in terms of the social and moral apathy fast spreading throughout our lands.

We need to nip the problems in the bud before it grows too big and devours all of us with a ferocity that will see this country be a cesspit of evil and anarchy!

Malaysia's Muslims do have a choice. We need to do what is compulsory upon us in forbidding evil and enjoining the good with whatever capacity we have within us. There is no more excuses!

Every passing second, every passing minute, we look the other way, we are burdened with unnecessary sins of becoming accomplices of those amongst us who do not give a damn anymore about the do's and don'ts of our glorious faith, Islam Ad Deenul Haqq.

Don't wait till it's too late. We are held responsible by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala to look after each other and to protect our brethren from the harm of being ignorant of our religious tenets and principles!

Such ignorance leads them to commit maksiat and sins which will throw them and us ( if we do nothing to advise and correct them ) into the pits of hellfire.

Apathy on our part will drag us together with them into Narr al Jahannam! Na'uzubillah!

Are we ready to go to hell with them? If we aren't that stupid, then please ...please help those amongst us who are committing sins and living a life that isn't befitting a Muslim, by advising them.

Show them that they are not alone in this world. Care for them by being kind to them and lead them back to the right ways of Islam. They need us to guide them. We in turn need to lead them by example.

Do not wallow in sins. Realize that we are all heading towards our ultimate end of our life here on Earth by each passing second, by each breath we take and let out. We are each held accountable for each and everything that we do.

The past is just that. There is nothing much we can do except to learn from our past mistakes and do our best to not repeat the same in our tomorrows. That is, if we still live to the next second, next minute, next hour, next day, week, month or year.

Choose Allah. Choose Islam. Help our Muslim Ummah before it's too late. Insya Allah.

Diabetic Herbal Treatment Specialist - Phang Oo Lang

Alhamdulillah, last Wednesday, I managed to make a trip home to Penang especially back to my Diabetic Herbal Treatment Specialist in Kepala Batas.

Phang Oo Lang Treatment Centre at No.5881, Jalan Satu, off Jalan Datuk Ahmad Badawi, 13200, Kepala Batas, Seberang Perai Utara, Penang is where thanks to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, many diabetic patients like me have found relief and am getting better from my condition.

The treatment centre may not be like your usual, run of the mill spanking new ultra modern, flashy 5 star hospital where doctors and specialists would be milling about and performing bloody expensive treatments on filthy rich sick patients, but for all it's humble down to earth, set in the kampong area of Kepala Batas, it is a haven for poor folks like me who have been diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus (mine is type 2) and many others suffering from all other kinds of ailments.

Herbal Specialist Phang Oo Lang is not your typical Chinese Sinseh @ physician. He is a Punjabi raised by a Chinese Herbal Master and has been trained to be a herbalist since he was a teenager. Speaks Hokkien and Malay only. Don't expect him to converse in the Queen's English!

He has helped treat so many people suffering from their diabetic complications and other sicknesses.

My late mother used to take his herbal medications since the time I was a boy. I remember her taking his herbal medication to treat her diabetes condition way back then. She managed to maintain a reasonable control over her diabetes and lived till 60 plus.

The name Phang Oo Lang was constantly being mentioned by my mum when speaking to family and friends who asked how she maintained her health although confirmed as a diabetic?

Now, I have inherited the condition as a result of my own doing as I was a constant drinker of Coca Cola and other soft drinks. People in the West are suing such companies for the harm that their products do.

We aren't that alert to our rights as consumers nor are our justice system as dynamic as those in the USA or Europe. Here, people can even get away with murder! :P

Back to my condition. All the sugar accumulated over the years finally got me enrolled as a 'Pesakit Kronik Kencing Manis' in the Ministry of Health's Diabetic Register!

Not something to be proud of but hey...I got what I deserved for not paying heed to all the 'consume less sugar campaigns'! :P

Some say it's hereditary but I figure it's more of our own doing. We decide whether to drink this or that?

Just the same like smoking cigarettes and graduating to something else as most folks do. No one forces us but we are caught in a situation where if we don't join in, we will be castigated by our 'friends' and branded a wimp!

Back in my kampong days, we used to smoke 'rokok daun' then graduated to trying out ganja!

Hehehehehe!!! Call it, the trials and misadventures of an era gone by. That was in the mid 70's when I used to hang out with my kampong buddies in Jelutong, Penang.

I stopped short after watching some of my friends go into heavier narcotics. No point in following those who don't listen to advice. I never did more than that. Even then I was just taking a puff or two with my buddies. It was the 'in thing' to do back then. I never touched any other stuff.

I once saw a young Malay guy dead from drug overdose in a hut at Jalan Madrasah, Jelutong, Penang. His face had a greenish hue and he had foam frothing at his mouth. Eyes half open but the fella was gone. Drug overdose.

Folks say that he had popped some 'Roche' pills and had taken ganja 'the basuh way' @ 'smoke on the water'. His brain must have undergone some serious shit for his face looked just so out of this world type! Sheeesh!!! Well, it's his funeral!

Today, I see kids doing all kinds of things to themselves. Call it evolution, call it whatever. I call it stupid. I was. At this age, I think I now know better but am still learning with each passing second, minute, hour and day.

Way back then, no one really bothered to listen to advice but we weren't as screwed up as kids are today. Today, it's the same old scenario only thing is that kids today have much more money than we did. We used to pool our scant resources. 20 sens here, 50 sens there.

A small roll of ganja used to cost 3 to 4 ringgits. I don't know what the going rate is now and hehehehe..don't want to know! Everyone's got a past. So do I.

Just learn that whatever harm we do to our bodies will come kick our ass later. It sure has whupped me well! :P

I quit smoking way back in 1987 when I got married for the first time. I was an avid smoker of Marlboro cigarettes since I left school back in 1976. You know, peer pressure and all that shit.

The thing is humanbeings have always been rebellious. The more anyone says ' don't do this ; don't do that' , the more we will feel inclined to do just that and even more.

That's why Allah says in Surah Wal Asr that we Mankind will always be at a loss save for those who go and warn society against committing evil and strive against it.

Only those who are patient and committed in their faith towards Allah will be successful. The rest will just have to answer for their deeds both here on earth and in the Hereafter. Guaranteed.

Well, that's for you to find out as well. You decide what you want for yourself. As the saying goes, 'You shall reap what you sow!' I sure have. :D It's hard being a sweet guy! :P

Remember when I shared with you about how high my blood sugar level was when I first got tested at Phang Oo Lang last month when I visited my sick sister who was treated there at the centre in Kepala Batas?

It was 18.8! Last Wednesday, a month after taking his herbal treatment, the blood sugar level dropped to just 11.7! Alhamdulillah!

This is quite remarkable for me for I had been eating normally as I always did, only skipping the condensed milk added coffee, soft drinks, etcetera.

When I was asked to fast for 12 hours and then have my blood sugar tested, it read 12.8. The normal blood sugar level ranges between 3 to 6.

So, after taking Phang Oo Lang's herbal treatment, eating normally, and getting an 11.7 reading, is just very encouraging to me, as far as the effectiveness of the herbal treatment is concerned.

All praise be to Allah SWT for giving me the opportunity to get treatment from Phang Oo Lang, who charges only a RM100 for my month's medications.

The government clinic charges just 1 ringgit for a month's medications
but it is more towards regulating but not actually bringing down the blood sugar level or even treating any of the diabetic sores as pictured here.

There's a whole lot of difference between just regulating and healing. No joke. Diabetes is a killer disease.

I have seen with my own eyes how a guy from Perlis recovered completely from a gangrenous sore on his foot where he had stayed for treatment at Phang Oo Lang's centre for 6 months and paid just about 600 ringgits per month for his treatment there. Read about it here.

I don't have the exact table of fees charged but that's what he told me. You have to check with Phang Oo Lang to confirm the costs.

Be reasonable in your expectations. He has his overhead too. Others in his position would charge us like hell. He doesn't. Thanks be to Allah for that.

Here I am with this kind hearted Chinese Herbal Specialist who might seem fierce with his handlebar mustache but his heart and compassion for his fellow humans is just something that we seldom see in this materialistic world.

May Allah SWT bless him with His Taufeek and Hidayah to become a Muslim! Subhanallah! That will be great joyous day for me. Insya Allah, I will see if I can spend more time with him in my next visit. May my wish come true to share with him about Islam. Ameen.

As it is, traveling by bus from KL to Butterworth takes more than 4 long hours. Followed by a trip by a ramshackle bus from Butterworth to Kepala Batas, with no air condition felt like a trip back to the future! Hehehehe..what an experience!

The fare was just RM1.70 per trip. Still cheap! Taxis will just rip you off! All over the world!

We all know how hospitals will charge you like hell and fleece you of your entire life's savings but over there at Phang Oo Lang, even the very poor and destitute are being treated by him at costs that they can afford.

He is a classic example of how some Non Muslims are amongst those who portray the ideals of being a good servant of Allah yet only caught in their situation of being in a belief denying Him as their Creator. If only we as Muslims do our part in Dakwah al Islamiyah to them and if Allah Wills, they will make splendid Muslims.

Phang Oo Lang is such a down to earth, sincere Non Muslim who is doing all of us a great favor by keeping his charges reasonable and affordable to all who go seek his herbal treatment.

If that's not a humanitarian service by him, I don't know what else is?

Just gives me the shivers when I see the pictures of all these gangrene set feet of folks who came to get treatment at Phang Oo Lang after they failed to take care of themselves after knowing that they have diabetes.

I remember the pitiful wailing of the old Chinese lady who was suffering from severe pain due to her rotting foot! Who is to blame but herself for not watching her sugar intake? Just like me! :P

All Malaysians are susceptible to this chronic condition where excessive sugar in our blood gives way to the breakdown of our body's defenses against the onslaught of sores and other complications of diabetes.

My sister didn't take her medications as advised by Phang Oo Lang and her husband, didn't see to it that she did. :(

Her diabetes condition was just way too serious and her refusal to drink the medications only made her condition deteriorate to such a stage where she was beyond help.

She discharged herself and went to Lam Wah Ee Specialist Hospital back on Penang Island where the doctors had no options but to amputate her left leg up to the knee.

I heard that she was warded at the Penang General Hospital for a month and she had just returned home to Kg Binjai, Bayan Lepas, Penang when I stopped over to see her after returning from Phang Oo Lang with my medications.

Words can't express my sadness to see her like that but it's her own doing. She is now in a wheelchair and has only herself to blame for not following the medication procedures at Phang Oo Lang or even go get treatment at the initial stage of learning that she had diabetes.

Many people tend to do that. They go into denial. They refuse to admit that they are sick and that they need to get treatment. Such is the human ego. Never willing to submit to the Truth.

I for one never shied away from admitting my mistakes or my sins. I just do not have to spell it out for you in detail here for Allah so forbids us to disgrace ourselves. He knows us best. We can't hide anything from Him, can we?

There's no need to be secretive about anything from Him. He is our Creator and knows our past, present and our future. He does however give us the choice as to live well and in accordance to what's good for us and to stay away from evil and harm. Yet there are just so many who fail to heed His Warnings and Guidance and throw themselves into disaster.

As for me, I am grateful to know that there is still hope for me and a way to live out the rest of my life in a manner befitting my being a servant of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. Alhamdulillah!

My advice to you is to watch your health and live as Allah wants us to. It's all taught in Islam.
Study the faith properly. Put it into practice and learn from reliable sources.Insya Allah, we'll be alright.

May Allah SWT bless us all with good health, wealth and Iman. Amin Ya Rabbal Alamin.

Masriza's Wedding 23rd June in Kuantan. Pahang

Last Saturday, we attended our nephew Masriza's wedding feast at Kuantan, Pahang. His bride , Anisah hails from Jitra, Kedah.

It was a joyous occasion to be part of the Berzanji and Marhaban celebrating the holy nikah of my wife's nephew.

Family members and friends came from all over the country to join in celebrating the happy couple's union in marriage and everyone was having a good time, feasting and catching up on the latest updates in their life's .

Here is my brother in law and his wife, Masriza's parents. Masriza is the eldest son of my brother in law, Engineer Tuan Hj Zainal Abidin, who runs his own Oil & Gas Processing Company.

He was a very happy father that day seeing his son now officially settled down as a rightful husband and successfully accomplishing a sunnah of Rasulullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam which is holy marriage.

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala enjoins holy matrimony and commands in His Qur'an Al Kareem Surah Al-Furqan Chapter 25 Verse 54 as below:

"And it is He Who has created man from water, and has appointed for him kindred by blood, and kindred by marriage. And your Lord is Ever All-Powerful to do what He will".

May Allah SWT Bless Masriza and his wife Anisah with the best of this life & hereafter!

Ameen Ya Rahman Ya Raheem Ya Allah Ya Aliyyul Azheem!

'Selamat Pengantin Baru Masriza! Semoga berbahagia sehingga selamanya!Amin!'

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) foretold in ancient Hindu Scriptures

Dr.Zakir Abdul Karim Naik , a renowned Da'ee of Islam shares the truth of the prophecies foretelling the coming of the Last Messenger of Allah, God Almighty in the ancient Hindu Scriptures of the Bagawad Gita, Vedas and Puranas.

I welcome learned folks from the Hindu brethren to confirm the existence of such prophecies as explained so clearly and precisely here by the learned Dr. Zakir or to share with us if what Dr. Zakir shows here is not there in their books?

To those who are learning about Islam, by all means, note down the relevant verses being stated here by Dr. Zakir and study for yourself as to whether Dr. Zakir is right and the prophecies proven true or show us your proofs refuting them.

Actually, Islam is not what many Non Muslims both here in Malaysia and the rest of the world fear it to be. Islam is the birthright of each and every human being.

If explained and shared the truths about it properly, I am sure that most of it's objectors would embrace it whole heartedly.

There is only the problem of knowing to differentiate between the faith of Islam as Almighty Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala has revealed it to us and from making any conclusions about it just based on the actions of the 'Muslims'.

Some so called Muslims misdeeds and behaviors are so misconstrued to reflect and represent Islam as a whole that we are portrayed to be this and that! That's just not right or even fair in the first place!

I can list down and show proof of so many other screwups of all other faiths and beliefs here on Earth but I'd be committing a grave injustice to those amongst them who aren't guilty of such misbehaviors.

There are good people in all the ethnicities and faiths. The only thing that differs them from us is our submission to True God whereas they are subject to their own circumstances.

As a Muslim, I submit to none other than Allah the Most Gracious, Most Merciful and I would be honored to share with those of you who are sincere in seeking Him, what I have come to learn to be the truth and nothing but the truth.

Acceptance and faith of such truths by the individual is entirely up to them and the Mercy of Allah, Our Lord and Creator. Insya Allah.

You owe it to yourselves to claim your birthrights to be a Muslim, true to your status as a Child of Our Father, the blessed Prophet Adam (peace be upon him) and Our Mother Saiyidatina Hawwa Radhiallahu Anha (blessed be her).

May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala guide us all. Ameen.

'From the womb to the tomb' by Syeikh Khalid Yassin

Excellent lecture by one of the renowned Muslim Da'ee's of our time , the powerful speaker and Caller to Islam, Syeikh Khalid Yassin, who himself is a revert to Islam.

The respected Syeikh is a powerhouse when it comes to sharing the truth of Islam. You will be riveted in your seat and keep coming back for more when this dedicated Da'ee does his stuff!

He is a great orator and delivers his lecture crisp and clear.I welcome you to learn from this excellent Caller to God's Way! May Almighty Allah bless us all with His Guidance and save us from the ones who are lost in their Oceans of Arrogance! Ameen.

Jesus Never said: " I am God, Worship Me"

Watch how Syeikh Khalid Yassin explains so very clearly about the lies being attributed to one of Allah's mighty Messengers, Hadhrat Eesa ibni Maryam Al Masih a.k.a. Jesus Christ, the Son of Mary the Virgin.

If the Christians are rational people, then I invite them to watch and ponder as to the truth being presented here in so clear a manner that only those who are recalcitrants will want to keep denying what is obviously the truth and nothing but the truth before Allah, Supreme God Almighty!

Blinkered views and hardened hearts and minds will remain blind to the truth of what even Eesa Alaihis Salam has said and even right there in the 'Bible' that the Christians swear by!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
From the 'Gospel According to Saint Matthew' 15 :24
'21 And Jesus went from thence, and retired into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon.
22 And behold a woman of Canaan who came out of those coasts, crying out, said to him: Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David: my daughter is grieviously troubled by the devil.
23 Who answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying: Send her away, for she crieth after us:
24 And he answering, said: I was not sent but to the sheep that are lost of the house of Israel.
25 But she came and adored him, saying: Lord, help me.
26 Who answering, said: It is not good to take the bread of the children, and to cast it to the dogs. < Does a Prophet of Allah use such language to describe Non Jews?
27 But she said: Yea, Lord; for the whelps also eat of the crumbs that fall from the table of their masters.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As we all know, the 'Bible' is written ACCORDING TO those people who weren't even present in Jesus's times and that there are just so many different versions and alterations that those who aren't from the LOST HOUSE OF ISRAEL so irresponsibly come to claim and uphold a noble Messenger of Allah to be their eternal scapegoat to be their absolver of their sins!!!

What kind of English do these people understand? Or even in any other language on Earth?

Which part of the " I was not sent but to the sheep that are lost of the house of Israel" that they do not and will not want to understand?

It's a pity that those who can comprehend so many other things here on Earth become deaf, dumb and blind to something so clear, so obvious, that it's right there before them in plain English or any other language that their 'Bible's' are translated into still can't come to realize that:

'hello!!! Jesus Christ himself is saying that he was sent only to the Jews of Israel but here we are 20 centuries after his ascension to Allah's presence and all these folks who aren't from the very tribe to which he was sent still stubbornly refuse to see their misguided 'faith' in worshiping the 'creation' instead of the Creator!

How do we try to make sense to those who refuse to see, hear and comprehend truth from error?

I try in my own way by sharing these information with you my reader in the hope that commonsense and rationale thought will take precedence over misguidance. Insya Allah.

Use your God given intelligence to figure out which is the truth and which are fabrications by those who attribute things to the noble Prophet Eesa Al Masih Alaihis Salam and blaspheme against Allah the Most Merciful by claiming that He has a 'Son' and a 'begotten one at that'!

Na'uzubillahiminzalik! May Allah Forbid!

Use the wisdom and faculty of thought to wake up to the reality and not live in abject fantasy of having someone else bear the burden of one's own sins! Be true to ourselves and wise up!

May the truth be with you! Ameen.

Abdul Raheem Green- One of my favourite Da'ee's

It's a pleasure for me to come across these videos of a Da'ee whom I have admired for so long since the days when I was the founding secretary of the Islamic Propagation Centre International (M) at the Masjid Kapitan Keling, Penang's 2nd oldest mosque way back in the late 80's.

Abdul Raheem Green is a pillar of Dakwah al Islamiah in England, and the 'ilm that he possesses and the crisp, articulate manner by which he shares the Truth in Islam is absolutely fabulous and the standard by which any Caller to Islam who speaks in English must set him or herself by.

This is my personal opinion. To me, Brother Abdul Raheem Green has always been a fantastic example of one who represents one fine symbol of how a Da'ee @ a Caller to Islam should be.

May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala bless this Muslim who is to me a very good example of a brilliant servant of Allah who has brought so many of his fellow Britishers to become Muslims!

Alhamdulillah! Just watch how excellent is his pronunciations and gift of speech Allah has blessed him with! Simply marvelous! He has the gift of the gab so to speak! Masya Allah!

I look forward to meeting Brother Abdul Raheem Green in person if he were to ever step here on Malaysian soil or me getting to do the same over there in England! Insya Allah!!!

Hindu Brahman Dr.Meena Embraces Islam!

Click here to watch how Dr.Meena , a former Brahman Hindu lady speaks about how she found the truth of Islam in here life and how she is now living as a true Muslimah and has attained the peace and blessings of Allah the Almighty in her life.

In these times when there are so many who love nothing but to provoke civil and social unrest by harping about the 'repressive Islamic fundamental principles' we see cases like these where hundreds of thousands of individuals who were looking for the truth of their existence come to discover and embrace their birthright in Islam daily all over the world!

Dr.Meena a Hindu Brahmin lady who is now a Muslim speaks before a large gathering and shares her faith with the audience.

She speaks in English and Malayalam, a dialect in Kerala. Watch this video and witness for yourself as to what Islam has brought to the hearts and souls of those blessed enough to reclaim their rights to submit to True God Almighty, Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.

Study Islam for what it truly is and do not assume anything without giving yourself a chance to learn what Allah, Our Creator has revealed for us , the Brotherhood of Mankind and the Children of Our Father, the Prophet Adam Alaihis Salam.

We are all equal before Allah save for our Faith in Him and our Deeds. May you receive your rights to be absolved from all your past sins and return to your origin ; as a submitting soul to Him who is Most Compassionate, Most Merciful. Ameen.

MCCBCHST Candle Light Vigil - Does it change anything?

Assalamualaikum O Mukmins and Greetings to the Rest.

As we all know, the issue of forceful rehabilitation of the said detainee who was born to Indian Muslim parents but grew up in an environment where the practice of Islam was devoid in the person's life and her soul deeply permeated in the doctrines of Hinduism and her eventual marriage again as in the other case, in just a Hindu temple ceremony has brought about another sorry episode in this land.

Who should we blame for this predicament? Naturally, we can all point our accusing fingers to the naive parents and condemn them like hell!

But does that solve the problem? Aren't there hundreds and thousands of similar cases going unreported and publicized as these few that have caught the attention of all including the likes of the Malaysian Consultative Council of Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Sikhism and Taoism @ MCCBCHST and their allies in the form of the Sisters in Islam who speak as if Islam is to be faulted for the present problems involving the apostates and those who were born into Islam but lived as a Kaffir?

I am a Muslim. I have come to learn about my faith well but am still discovering so many things about this God given faith and am sharing whatever little that I have come to know with my readers and those who are in contact with me.

Far from being the restrictive religion it is deemed to be by those in the MCCBCHST and their comrades in SIS, I know for sure that Islam is the International System of Living for All Mankind which I interpret it to be.

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala the Most Merciful, Most Compassionate Creator of us all is so magnanimous in allowing us to seek His Mercy and His Blessings by way of His Last Testament and Revelations in the Holy Al Qur'an Al Kareem and by sending to us His Greatest Messenger in the Holy Prophet Muhammad ibni Abdullah, Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam as our guide and Rasul.

Yet a large number of Mankind do not realize the Benevolence and Blessings that Allah showers upon us through His Faith.

Disbelievers are steeped in their ignorance and sheer hatred for Allah's Way of Life and they do all that they can to blaspheme against Allah and His Prophet and go out of their ways to scandalize this most complete of faith in Our Lord.

The problem is compounded by the lack of responsibility of the 'leaders' of the Ummah who just pay lip service to the propagation of Islam and fail to carry out Ad Dakwah ul Islam as what Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala commands us to do by way of His numerous Commandments in the Holy Qur'an and the sayings of the Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam.

Our nation's supreme leader comes up with his version of Islamic understanding and his yesmen and women rally behind him in trying to portray that they are the 'ulul amri' who must be obeyed to the letter and not challenged with objections to their trying to re-invent the 'wheel' so to speak!

Failure of preserving the fundamentals of Islam and holding securely to the 'rope of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and the sunnah of Muhammad Sallalahu alaihi Wassallam is the resulting deterioration of the Aqeedah and the amals of the Muslims in this gone hedonistic nation and the emergence of all these smart alecs who try to lampoon and lambast Allah's Faith!

Just watch the Malaysiakini videoclip here and realize who's defending Islam and who's insulting the Holy Qur'an of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala?

The detainee is a victim of circumstances and her case must be handled properly and justly by the 'watered down' Syariah Courts.

I will continue saying so because the Syariah Courts here in Malaysia are nothing but a facade of Islamic Syaria jurisprudence in actual practice.

If Malaysia is truly to come under rule of the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of Nabi Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam to the exact letter, then would I gladly stop saying so.

As for now, all the candlelight vigils would not change an iota of the state of affairs regarding the matter of apostasy here in this nation as long as the government is playing hopscotch with our life's and sidelining Allah's Supreme Constitution to all of us mankind here in Malaysia and the rest of the world.

As a Muslim, I submit to only His Will and none other. Wabillahi taufeek walhidayah.

Wassalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

Mosques, Churches, Temples Demolition Issue

When one looks at this Malaysiakini videoclip , naturally one would get affected by the emotions and passions it arouses within oneself, no matter what race or religion we are.

We should also not forget that even masjid's constructed without clearance from the local authorities were also bulldozed to the ground. Just take a look at this clip below.

So were churches and temples, none were spared. Why? I can only say that the authorities acted so because legal ownership of the land and fulfillment of the proper procedures and regulations weren't met by the religious establishment's administrative committees.

Thus, those who erect all these places of worship must also ask themselves, if they are totally righteous, whether they too must take responsibility over the consequences of raising those buildings where the followers of the faiths congregate to worship not knowing much about the legitimacy of the establishments.

Religion is very important to most of us and no matter what faith we follow, we all will defend our places of worships with our life's if we must and thus those who are the builders of the relevant places of worship must make sure that they have the permission from the authorities to do so and that they own the land on which they are building the establishments.

It's sad to see people get bashed up and suffer so much just because they want to practice their faith but those who are responsible in setting up such places of worship owe it to their congregation to make it all legit.

That's what I think. All Malaysians need to be realistic and get rational about the root causes of all this demolitions of religious places.

The founders of such places are equally guilty as the ones who order the bulldozers in to flatten the hopes and prayers of those affected. They all have blood on their hands.

Don't fall prey to the instigations of those who'd just love to see us all smash each other bloody to bits as they would love nothing but to see this nation go havoc and we all tear this country apart!

Just stay cool people and make sure that before anyone builds any masjid, church or temple, they have all the necessary paperworks in order.

Saves everyone a lot of heartaches, don't you all think so?

Malay Muslim Bartenders - It's okay in Malaysia ?

Na'uzubillahiminzalik!

I received an email from a fellow Muslim who tipped me off about the state of affairs now with our Malay 'Muslim' brethren who do not care anymore about the halal and haram aspects of earning a living when there are just so many other choices of jobs in our nation.

Click here to see these Malay bartenders who are featured as champions in their chosen profession.

Do their parents know what kind of jobs these young men do? Or are they closing one eye as is now becoming the norm in 'Malaysia Boleh'land?

I wonder if they are just so bloody ignorant of what is allowed and what is forbidden in Islam ; that there are just hundreds of thousands of such ignorants amongst the Muslims here in this so called 'Islamic Nation' and currently the Chairman country of the OIC @ Organization of Islamic Countries?

No wonder the nation's Muslims are so screwed when it comes to such things! Tidak apa!!!

Didn't anyone teach such folks who are 'Muslims' that it is HARAM to be involved in such an occupation?

Don't even start to think of all the other 'jobs' in the service industry! 'Baik punya'?

Tch..tch..tch.. What the hell is wrong with this country's Muslims?

We have so many millions of Malaysian Muslims who get so riled up about Lina Joy and get so pissed off at the attempts by one misled lady from their kind but sort of become blind, deaf and dumb about all the other major maksiat that is taking place right before their very eyes?

Where the heck is our keris wielding heroes when we need them?
Aiyaaa...I forgot!

We are treading on dangerous grounds here....touchy ..touchy...sensitive oooo! Don't disturb!

Lest we awaken all the 'Malaysia Boleh' advocates and 'touch me not's within the society!

You know, those who champion personal freedoms and 'do as we please' shit!

The kind who forget that Muslims are a brotherhood or sisterhood and that we are to watch out for one another thingy! Or could we just not bother and let them all go to hell? Should we? Nahh!

That's not what my faith tells me. My Prophet tells me to support my brother when he is doing wrong!

How do I do that? By stopping him from doing so...hence this outpouring of my feelings!

It's not like the highest Islamic religious authorities here in the Kingdom of Malaysia do not know what is going on in all the service and hospitality industry! They bloody well know this!

Even the Imam of 'Islam Hadhari Malaysia' knows very well about this sorry state of affairs where there are millions of his fellow Muslims caught up in this sinful situation of working in such establishments and engaged in clearly a haram profession as laid out so clearly in the hadith below!

"Truly Allah has cursed khamr and has cursed:
 • the one who produces it,
 • the one for whom it is produced,
 • the one who drinks it,
 • the one who serves it,
 • the one who carries it,
 • the one for whom it is carried,
 • the one who sells it,
 • the one who earns from the sale of it,
 • the one who buys it,
 • and the one for whom it is bought."
(Tirmidhi & Ibn Majah).

Umar (r.a.) narrated that he heard the Mesessenger of Allah (pbuh) saying,

"Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day must not sit at a table at which khamr is consumed." (Ahmad; Tirmidhi has a slightly different version of it also).

Yusuf al-Qaradawi states in his book The Lawful and The Prohibited in Islam that "Caliph Umar ibn Abdul Aziz used to flog not only those who drank but those who sat with them as well, even if they wre not themselves drinking.

When once he was told of a group of people who were at a drinking party, he ordered that all of them be flogged..." ("Avoiding Drinking Parties" p. 74).

Wow! I guess that as far as the 'authorities' here are concerned 'It's okay in Malaysia!' Is it?

The Marimuthu - Raimah Bibi (Hindu -Muslim Tragedy )

When I watch this clip of the unfortunate couple from Malaysiakini, I feel a deep sadness to see them suffering like this unnecessarily.

Ignorance about the tenets of the faith of Islam caused this Indian Muslim lady to marry Marimuthu, the Hindu rubber tapper.

I learn that Marimuthu had married her in a temple and the temple authorities had acted irresponsibly in officiating the marriage between the two.

From the clip, I can see no sense of being a Muslim on the part of the lady. She doesn't come across as one who even has an inkling of what her duties as a Muslim should be hence she got married in that way.

Blame it on ignorance? Well, one might be excused to say just that.

Now, let's look at Marimuthu's perspective. He ain't that aware of what he did either. They being simple folks didn't think too much of their actions.

I do however wonder how the hospitals registered those 6 children of this couple?

Didn't the Registrar of Births notice the discrepancy that states so clearly that the name of the mother being that of a Muslim and the father a Hindu?

Whoever it was that registered and continued to register the births of the consequentive offsprings born to this mixed up couple had seriously lacked the awareness that something is seriously wrong with the status of that mixed couple!

The failure of the temple authorities to stop the couple from marrying in the first place for the union was going against the laws of this land is the utmost severe crime that they went ahead and solemnized the marriage between Raimah Bibi and Marimuthu without going through the proper procedures.

Even if the lady in question wasn't a practicing Muslim, the folks responsible to have married this poor unfortunate couple must be held responsible for creating this tragedy where this poor Indian Muslim lady and her naive Hindu husband are now the victims of this legal and religious quandary brought about by nothing but sheer ignorance of both the laws of this land and the religious principles of Islam and that of Hinduism.

I do not claim to know much about Hinduism but I am sure that in that belief, they have no qualms about such a union!

There's no doubt howsoever that in Islam it is haram to conduct such a marriage between one who is born as a Muslim to go marry someone who is not!

Today, we have 8 suffering souls who are caught between the legal and religious tussle as a result of sheer ignorance between the unfortunate naive couple who have now been rendered asunder and the mother deprived of custody of her children because she says she didn't know that she was signing away her rights to her children when the lawyers asked her to sign those papers!!!

This is the sorry state of affairs in this country where there live many ignorant folks who do not know a jot about the do's and don't's of the faith they are born into and become hapless pawns in the manipulations of those who have vested interests and hidden agendas.

As usual, the Islamic Religious authorities who failed to sense and nip such problems in the bud, will only come in to impose the rules and regulations on these unfortunates when the situation has gone from bad to worse as in this case!

It saddens my heart to see them suffering like this! The law needs to go after those responsible for this unholy union between the two and haul them to court! Which court?

Now, that's another problem!!! Damn!

Metro Kajang's Faux Pas explained by What a Lulu!

Fellow Malaysian blogger What a Lulu helped to clear the situation and shared with me as to the faux pas committed by the HR Department folks of the Metro Kajang Holding Berhad with regard to that 'discriminatory ad' that they put up stating 'Muslims need not apply' line!

She referred to the clarification by Josh Hong, a contributor to Malaysiakini who took the trouble to call up Metro Kajang at 03 - 8737 2323 to ask the HR why they put up such an ad and shared his findings with the Promuda Yahoogroup here ?

I would like to thank Lulu for being responsible enough as a fellow Malaysian blogger who upon coming to know the truth regarding the Metro Kajang boo boo , promptly updated me about it.

This is what bloggers need to do. We must help to share important news with our fellow bloggers and care for one another by updating each other if we come to know info such as these and help clear the air and be socially proactive.

I am happy to know that this is the reasons why those dimwits worded their ad's in such a way and I hope that they will be more careful in the future before posting such insensitive ads again.

Thanks Lulu! You've saved us a lot of unnecessary heartaches! Xie xie nee !

Uptrend Networks uses the Internet not Investing Online!

I had refrained from writing about my Uptrend Networks business for quite a while because I wanted to just allow things to fall into place and as I figured, eventually the general public have now been made clear as to the difference between Uptrend Networks and all those online internet investment scams that the Securities Commission published.

Sometimes one just has to hold one's peace and let things settle down instead of responding to all those who don't know about us and think that yeah..since we use the internet to carry out our business activities as part of our network marketing, we are questionable as well?

How do we explain to those who are closed in their mindsets and don't know the difference between using the internet as a communications tool and those idiots who blew their savings on online internet investment scams?

After the truth has been proven that Uptrend networks is not associated at all in any way with those fly by night, get rich quick online scams, now I have people sms'g me asking about how to join me in my Uptrend Networks?

Alhamdulillah. We who are Uptrenders have been proven innocent of all those rumors and gossips which were caused by that chap who issued his 'decree'!

Talk about trumpet blowers! That fatwa spewer didn't let out even a squeak of apology to those of us whose income had been seriously affected by his blanket ruling shooting off his mouth like that without being specific and precise as to the guilty parties and use the internet in their investment scams and not libel us Uptrenders who use the internet to carry out our networking business!

Now the people have come to know that Uptrend Networks is a bonafide, legitimate network marketing hybrid business that pays well for those who do the business properly, as the company operates within the laws and regulations of this nation plus all our member countries and is also halal according to the Islamic Syaria laws.

Those who want to know more, you can contact me at 6-016-3969881 for details. Thank you.

Yvonne Ridley Becomes Muslim Video

From being a prisoner in Afghanistan, this lady has become a freedom fighter of the Muslims in Britain.

The akhlak @ good behaviors of her captors in Afghanistan opened up her eyes to the realities of Islam and the truth of the faith revealed by Almighty Allah to all mankind.

She is now amongst the prominent British Muslims who are fighting against the Islamophobia being waged by the British Government of Tony Blair, stooge # 1 of the US gone stir crazy warmongering President George Wacko Bush Jr.

It is the likes of Yvonne Ridley who are giving the Muslims in England a voice to speak up for their rights to live in freedom from the hatred and malice being perpetrated against them by the hypocritical West.

Watch her speak her mind in this interview.

Metro Kajang's Religious Discrimination against Muslims!

This has to really be the most blatant act of religious discrimination against Muslims here in Malaysia lately!

Thanks to Brother Bakaq for his newsflash on this.

I can understand if the Malaysian Chinese running businesses here were to subtly carry out their preference for Chinese employees in administrative positions by imposing the requirements for Mandarin speaking job applicants for any vacancies they have in their companies.

It's understood that by doing so, the Malays and other ethnicities will naturally be not qualified to apply for the advertised openings in such Chinese owned companies. Undeclared racism.

It's something that drew the Deputy Prime Minister Dato Seri Najib Tun Razak's ire last year and he called for such requirements to be abolished.

I on the other hand called for those Malay unemployed graduates to go learn Mandarin and master that language in order to add value to themselves and stand a better chance to be employed by such discriminating companies.

This outrageous move by Metro Kajang Holdings Berhad should however not be allowed to stand!

It clearly goes against the social contract we have going on here in Malaysia!

Despite all other discriminating methods practiced by each and every ethnicity in their own undeclared ways, this blatant discrimination by a departmental store that does business with all Malaysians, must not be left unchallenged!

I call upon all folks in Kajang to protest against this store and ask the government to step in and teach those idiots of Metro Kajang Holdings management a lesson!

What a bloody shameful act by this company when we are just reaching our nation's golden anniversary of achieving Independence?

Looks like some folks aren't fit to do business here in Malaysia! Revoke their business license!

Or is our nation going to see more religious discrimination by the others from now?

Are we going to nip this clear discrimination in the bud and slap those idiots awake or are they going to get away scotfree with this 'kurang ajar' move against the Muslims of this nation?

What if the major Malaysian Muslim owned corporations and companies start a tit for tat measure?

I want to see what the Islam Hadhari Government of Abdullah Badawi is gonna do about this?

Does Abdullah Badawi have it in him to act against Metro Kajang?

Islam Today - Dealing with Kufur, Nifaq, Fasiq & Bida'ah Pt 2

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. Ya Mukminina Wal Mukminat, Wal Muslimin na Wal Muslimat. Al Ahya iminhum wal 'Amwat. May the Peace, Mercy and Blessings of Allah be upon you. My sincere wishes that the Guidance and Mercy of Allah be upon the rest. Ameen.

I now move on to the subject of Nifaq.

Nifaq is the act of hypocrisy in one's inner creed and concealing of the person's dislike of submitting to Allah but because of wanting to present to the people that he or she is still a Muslim, the one who has nifaq in his or her heart puts on a show or pretext of being a Believer when in essence he or she is not.

There are two types of the condition of nifaq. First is nifaq nazhari which constitutes an inner belief or self deduced ideals that run contrary to what the Aqeedah of a Muslim entails.

The second is nifaq amali which is having the characteristics of a munafiq towards Allah and the Muslims by showing allegiance to the Kuffars, preferring their company, supporting their causes, breaking promises, constantly lying, being treacherous and committing breach of trust.

There are many amongst us whom we can figure out to be as those who have nifaq in their selfs and we can do so by assessing their actions, words and train of thoughts or expressions. I leave it to you to watch out for them and to know with whom you keep company or befriend.

The Holy Messenger of Allah advised us to choose our companions well for being with the wrong company will only lead us to harmful consequences.

The parable of befriending the perfume seller and avoiding the blacksmith comes to mind. Know the person or persons whom you take to be your friends or advisers. The wrong company will definitely lead you astray. Na'uzubillah! May Allah forbid.

*************************************************************************************

Let us now move on to the matter of Fasiq.

A fasiq is someone who despite claiming to be a Muslim does not refrain from committing all kinds of sins and indulges in the acts which are more akin to that of a Kaffir.

Such persons commit all kinds of fahishah and mungkar like gambling, drinking alcohol, smoking or consuming harmful narcotic drugs.

A fasiq is also someone who doesn't perform the five daily prayers and all other tenets of the faith of Islam.

Such a person claiming to be a Muslim but do none of what a Muslim true to his or her responsibilities and obligations towards Allah, the Prophet, his or her own self, family and ummah is clearly a fasiq and will be judged by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala as such.

************************************************************************************
The last subject that I will write about in this post is about the matter of Bida'ah.

Bida'ah is anything that is new or introduced after the completion of the revelations from Allah the Almighty through the Final Messenger in matters concerning the practice and tenets of Islam.

Bida'ah is divided into two aspects. Bida'ah in conviction and bida'ah in actions.

What do I mean by bida'ah in convictions?

Well, it is anything that is introduced into the faith of Islam that runs contrary or diverts from whatever that the Last Messenger of Allah, Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam has left us his Ummah as per his Sunnah and his Hadiths @ Sayings.

I have learned that certain acts that complement or promote the strengthening of faith in a Muslim is welcomed by the scholars of Islam and termed as 'Bida'ah Hasanah' which means 'good innovations or introductions'.

From my point of view, I see no harm in them. The only thing that one has to watch out for is the tendency to make such acts part and parcel of the faith and start making it as a fundamental part of Islam. Such adding ons will only add extra burden to the faith.

Islam is already perfectly and completely revealed by Allah, Almighty God and He has done so through His Final Messenger to us a thousand four hundred years ago.

The changing of times and situations would naturally see a change in people's habits and lifestyles but that does not warrant any acts of introducing or adding on to what is already perfect and for all time as Islam is for all eternity. This is what I as a Muslim think.

Those who aren't Muslims or amongst those who have the abovementioned traits in themselves don't qualify to question why Islam forbids change and prohibits all forms of harmful bida'ah.

Harmful bida'ah is termed 'Bida'ah Lawwamah'. 'Bida'ah Lawwamah' is anything that goes against the basics of the principles and tenets of Islam and when practiced leads to shirk and khurafat which is haram @ forbidden.

I have this to say to the Muslims reading this. You who value your Aqeedah have to wake up to all the realities facing us today and why we need to speak up for our faith.

True Muslims have nothing to be ashamed about. We believe in Allah, Our Creator and Sustainer, Cherisher and Master of the entire universes.

Share with those who have the faculty of reason and rational thought about Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and our Deen.

Those who choose otherwise can just do as they please here on Earth and face the consequences of their actions both here in the land if the land is ruled according to Allah's Supreme Constitution or be a Kaffir all they want for it is their own choice.

The same thing can't be said for Muslims for we are bound to our covenant with Allah failing which we must face the laws that He has sent down to us through the Holy Messenger and His Final Testament to us all.

My advise to those who wish to become Muslims to take note of all the rewards and birthrights of being one who submits and surrenders to our Creator and also to realize the consequences of running afoul to what Allah the Almighty has decreed for us.

We aren't created by Allah in vain. We have a role to play and are held responsible for our deeds. Those who do good will be rewarded as well both here on Earth and in the Hereafter.

Those who choose to be those who are described as having the traits as stated above will be held responsible for their actions both here and in the next life.

May Allah the Almighty guide us all. Ameen.

Islam Today - Dealing with Kufur, Nifaq, Fasiq & Bida'ah Pt 1

Islam -The very mention of it stirs every Tom, Dick or Harry or in our case, every Ahmad, Ah Seng , Samy to voice out their opinions and views about the Way of Life that Allah the Almighty revealed for us, the Children of Adam, in it's complete form to the Last of Allah's Messenger, the Holy Prophet Muhammad bin Abdullah, Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam a thousand four hundred over years ago.

There is hardly a moment here on Earth where someone , somewhere is not debating about it or trying to pooh pooh it away according to whatever he or she has heard about it or imagine it to be!

If you look at the way some folks speak about Islam and raise their objections and findings about it whenever some other person were to even mention it, you could be forgiven for thinking that that someone broaching the subject must be a master of theology and knows each and everything about it!

You don't have to look far. The internet is chock full of such brilliant minds who sprout ideas from every orifice of their self that the scholars of Islam seem to be so irrelevant compared to such 'Masters of Islam' online today.

The blatant irony of it is that these supposedly 'know it alls' don't even practice or profess the faith in the first place. They are mostly consisting of those who are Kuffars, possess the characteristics of Nifaq, Fasiq and Bida'ah.

Even those who say that they are Muslims but do not practice even a jot of the faith speak as if they are the knowledgeable ones and these are the ones who are making the most noise amongst the people.

You know, those who have Muslim names but are only great pretenders.

Anyway, I couldn't be bothered with such folks for they choose to be so out of their own vocation and desire. Desire to be in the fire...sounds like poetry eh?

Let me start this post by touching on the first subject -Kufur @ Disbelief in Allah

Kufur is an Arabic word that means Disbelief.

It is not an insult but a term. Kaffir is a person who is not a Believer in Allah.
Hope those of you who are not a Muslim understand this clearly.

A Believer in Allah is called a Mukmin or a Muslim.

This is a term that recognizes one who believes in Allah as the Almighty God and Creator of all that is before us and the hidden realms.

By that I mean both the physical worlds and that of the spiritual kind.

 • Disbelieving in Allah being their Creator is what many amongst mankind choose to be because they have yet to realize who they are and what is the consequences of being a Kaffir.
 • Whoever has the slightest doubt in his or her heart that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala is their Rabb and Master is a Kaffir.
 • Anyone who denies the Existence of Allah or speaks ill of Allah is a Kaffir.
 • Anyone who denies the Right of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala to be worshiped as He Decrees is a Kaffir.
 • Anyone who worships any other thing or being besides Allah is a Kaffir.
 • Anyone who denies, doubts, insults or mocks any of Allah's Names and Attributes as revealed in the Qur'an and shared by the Messenger Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam in his Sunnah or Hadith's is a a Kaffir.
 • Anyone who denies the role of Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam as the Last Messenger of Allah and doubts, mocks, insults or ridicules the Prophet of Allah is a Kaffir.
There are amongst the Kaffir's, those whose hearts are inclined towards the worship of the One God.

I personally have met many of such folks who by nature are excellent human beings save only for the matter of this coming to realize that it is none other than Allah whom they are seeking for.

These are the ones whom even Allah tells us about the ones in whose heart reign the goodness of their fitrah @ natural sense of good character to be amongst those who seek the Mercy of Allah but they are caught in the traditions and cultures of their kind.

This is why we who are Muslims must take heed of what Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala Commands us in Surah An Nahl Chapter 16 Verse 125 in the Holy Qur'an.

"Invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for thy Lord knoweth best, who have strayed from His Path, and who receive guidance".

Mankind has over Time been obstinate in the matter of submitting to Allah due to the reason that many are slaves to their own ego.

Ego that they know better. Ego that they are the masters of their own destiny. They call the shots. They decide this and that . Well, I have just one question to ask of such folks.

Where are those who had been as arrogant as they are now who had lived before them and those before them and those who through time had thought that they knew better than the rest?

Where the hell are all those idiots who strutted about on Earth as if they are the know it all's?

Where? Pray tell me. Well, it's absolutely obvious isn't it? All those smart alecs or smart asses have kicked the bucket so to speak. Reduced to nothingness. Earth to earth and dust to dust!

None stays immortal save for Allah the Almighty Who despite Mankind's recalcitrant ways still bestows upon us our sustenance, our life's as we have it with us and allows us to choose how to live but doesn't leave us on our own.

Almighty Allah the Most Merciful Most Compassionate sent to us prophets after prophets, messengers after messengers ending with the Last Messenger above all other Messengers, Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam.

We have with us the Last Testament of Allah and the Hadiths of His Prophet as our Complete Guide to live our life's according to the Will of Allah.

I pray that you will do your bit to study about all these and catch up with the continuation of this subject in my following posts.

May the Truth be with you. Ameen.

Apostasy and Islam in Malaysia - Get your facts right!

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh O Mukmins! May the Peace, Mercy and Blessings of Allah be upon you. May the Guidance and Mercy of Allah also be upon you the Unbelievers. Insya Allah.

For a faith that makes it compulsory to greet one another with such a beautiful prayer, it is ironic to see it's adherents be castigated and accused wrongly of being rigid and unrelenting by those who would not want to learn anything about the very faith they are waging war against!

I understand that for folks who have been fed negative news and the wrong input over the years and media manipulation by certain elements of the press and print industry, whatever they read and see on the 'news' is the 'truth' and nothing but the 'truth'. Yeah...right!

The problem with the world is that people will always swallow hook, line and sinker whatever anyone writes bashing Islam and the Muslims. It's like the 'in thing' to do nowadays.

Islam with it's teetotaler puritanical tenets and principles comes forth as a faith that to the uninitiated will scare the hell out of any hedonistic couldn't care less soul and seem to be a 'killjoy' religion. (no reference to the apostate in Malaysia)

The DAP is spearheading this awareness about the apostasy case concerning Lina Joy to maybe provide an outlet to let those who are concerned for their newfound sister in the Christian belief air their views or fears about their rights of freedom to practice their individual faiths or maybe it is just another vehicle to boost their political mileage.

We can't blame them. If not the DAP, some other party will try to be the champion and bring the media attention and focus on them. This is just part and parcel of being a political party. You don't make noise; no one knows you! Hence , I understand their actions lately.

I do feel that we who are Muslims need to do our part to help clear the air about what Islam's stand is on this sensitive but very important matter.

We who are Muslims believe in Allah the Most High as our Lord and Creator and have faith in Him.

We also declare that Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam as Allah's Last and Final Messenger and we believe in all that the Holy Prophet (May Peace and the Blessings of Allah be upon him) has left us as his Sunnah @ Example and his sayings @ hadiths to judge or rule by together with what Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala has revealed in His Qur'an.

We who are Muslims in the truest sense must not doubt the Holy Qur'an al Kareem and the authentic Hadiths of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam.

Anyone amongst the Muslims who doubt or deny the Laws of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala or does not ascribe exactly to what the Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam decreed as the apt reward or punishment for any one act of a Muslim or Non Muslim living under the rule of a Muslim nation is deemed to be guilty of disobeying Allah SWT and His Messenger.

As a Muslim, I subscribe to what is in the Qur'an and the authentic Hadiths.

Here is what the Hadiths have to say about the apt punishment for an apostate from Islam.

Click on to the picture here to see it in a larger view.

It is from the Book of Jinayat (Offenses). Page 408.

Let's take a look at the first relevant hadith. No.993
Narrated by Ibn Mas'ud Radhiallahu Anhu :

Allah's Messenger Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam said : "The blood of a Muslim who testifies that there is no god but Allah and that I am Allah's Messenger' may not be lawfully shed but for one of three reasons :
 • a married man who commits fornication ( adultery)
 • a life for a life ( murder, manslaughter, unjustified killing)
 • one who turns away from his (or her) religion and abandons his (or her) community."
In the next authentic hadith narrated by none other but the Holy Prophet's wife herself, Saiyidatina Aisha Radhiallahu Anha :

Allah's Messenger Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam said : " A Muslim may be lawfully killed only for one of three behaviors:
 • a married man who commits fornication, in which case he should be stoned to death
 • a man who kills a Muslim deliberately ; for which he should be killed
 • and a man (or woman) who apostatizes from Islam and fights (legal action?) with Allah and His Messenger, in which case he (or she) should be killed, or crucified, or banished from the land (of the Muslims)."
Reported by Abu Da'ud and An-Nasa'i.

This is just two amongst many authentic hadiths of Allah's Messenger which states crystal clearly what needs to be done by any Muslim ruler worth his salt to prescribe the above stated punishments for the stated crimes.

I ask all you Malaysians here : 'How many of such criminals here has been stoned to death?' How many criminals who have been proven guilty of all such crimes and many others been punished according to the authentic hadiths of the Holy Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam which he wouldn't have stated as such without the revelations from Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala Himself?

I dare say not one criminal amongst the Muslims here in Malaysia has ever been punished according to the Hadiths of the Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam since this nation became 'independent' from the British Colonial rule!

We pay more attention and squabble over the definitions of man made laws drawn up by the British Lord Reid than we do to the Supreme Constitution of Allah the Almighty!

The Syariah Courts that we have here do not mete out punishments to the letter as what Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and His Messenger decreed upon those of us who say that we are Muslims!

By all means, please prove me wrong and I will be a very happy Muslim.

We just pay lip service to saying that the Syariah supercedes over the civil laws when it comes to punishing Muslims as per what Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala orders us to do.

Those of you who are all worked up over this Lina Joy case should understand that the true Syariah Laws aren't being put to practice here in the Kingdom of Malaysia.

The most that these watered down Syariah laws in Malaysia prescribe are just fines or imprisonment and even those have been proven to be ineffective to stem the rising spate of vicious crimes committed by Muslims and Non Muslims alike.

What we have is a direct disobedience to Almighty Allah and the Messenger Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam.

All those of you who are Syarie lawyers, am I being right or wrong? Yes or no?

Please enlighten me with the true status of the Syariah Laws we have here.

I may not be a legal practitioner but hello, what I quote from is but the authentic Hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad Rasulullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam.

As for you who aren't Muslims, please do not get worked up over this matter for your dear new found sister is not in any danger of having even a hair of hers harmed by the Syariah system we have here. No worries. Everything's okay. That's as far as the justice system here goes by.

Since many are 'concerned' about this case hence I feel it is just right to share with you what Allah the Almighty and His Prophet have decreed for us to judge this case by.

Learn about what's the truth in Islam before jumping to conclusions or believing any gossips or rumor or the internet Parliament.

May the Truth prevail. Ameen.

YB Salahudin Haji Ayub - National PAS Youth Chief Interview

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. May the Peace, Blessings and Mercy of Allah be upon you.

I met the Member of Parliament for Kubang Kerian, Kelantan YB Salahudin Haji Ayub who is also the National PAS Youth Chief yesterday at his office in the new PAS HQ at Jalan Raja Laut in conjunction with my study and research as to how to bring about a better understanding between the Muslims here in Malaysia.

I also met him to see how PAS can work with the other political parties here to help clear the confusion and concerns regarding the need to have more active interfaith dialogues between the various faiths and multi ethnicities of Malaysia.

Sometimes, one has to go meet people personally in order to be able to know them better instead of just relying on hearsay and media reports or personal assumptions that we make based on the newspapers or magazines or even online websites.

I met him at 3.00pm sharp as agreed and he was very amiable and welcomed me earnestly to his office.

The surroundings were modern and looked very clean. The new PAS HQ is right smack in Jalan Raja Laut, once a notorious sin spot but now getting caught up with the fast pace of progress and development which seems to be always the case with a metropolitan city such as Kuala Lumpur.

There weren't that many people in the building and access was by a security card system. I foresee a very great opportunity for PAS to turn the building into a sanctuary for all the people staying around there for some peace and tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of the never ending traffic passing through the main thoroughfare of the KL central business district.

We exchanged greetings and YB Salahudin invited me to take my seat and I was impressed by his charming demeanor and courtesy which he showed. The man is soft spoken and paid good attention to what I had to say and share.

Here is his background and biography.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Salahudin bin Haji Ayub was born on Friday the 22nd in the Islamic calendar month of Jamadil Akhir , 1381 AH - 1st of December 1961 C.E.
He was born in Kg. Serkat, Pontian, Johor to a mixed parentage. His father, Haji Ayub bin Omar is a Malay whilst his mother, Aminah binti Abdullah is a Chinese.
Salahudin attended his primary schooling at Sekolah Rendah Inggeris Serkat, Pontian from 1967 to 1973. He then attended his secondary schooling at Sekolah Menengah Inggeris Telok Kerang, Pontian from 1974 to 1976.
He had furthered his Islamic religious studies at Sekolah Agama Kerajaan Johor in 1977 and passed with a special mention in the field.
Transferred to Sekolah Menengah Sri Perhentian, Pontian in the same year from 1977 to 1978 and then to Sekolah Menengah Datuk Penggawa Barat for another year from 1979 to 1980.
Salahudin had graduated with a Diploma in Business Management at Kolej Tunku Abdul Rahman (KTAR) from 1982 to 1983 and then obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in the Science of Human Development at Universiti Putra Malaysia.
He married Fatimah Taha in 1985 and has six children with her.
Salahudin Haji Ayub started working as a Financial Officer with MUI Bank in 1980 before getting active in politics totally in 1983.
He first started getting active in the Islamic movement when he joined ABIM @ Angkatan Belia Islam Malaysia or the Malaysian Islamic Youth Movement and held the office as the Secretary of ABIM Pontian from 1981 to 1983.
In 1983, he was active with the PAS leadership and became the Deputy Yang Dipertua of PAS Pontian from 1983 to 1987.
He was then elected to be the Youth Chief of the Pontian PAS Youth Council from 1987 to 1989.
Chief of the PAS Johor Youth Council from 1989 to 1999.
Executive Councillor of the Central PAS Youth Council from 1991 to 1995. He was also entrusted with the post of the Head of the Agricultural Bureau of the Central Youth Council of PAS from 1993 to 1995.
Salahudin was elected to be the Information Head of the Central Youth Council of PAS from 1995 to 1997. Head of the Information and Dakwah Bureau of the Central Youth council of PAS from 1995 to 1997.
Apart from that, he was elected to be the Information Chief of PAS Johor and also as the Secretary of the Central Youth Council of PAS from 1997 to 1999.
He was also elected to be the Vice Head of the Central Youth Council of PAS from 1999 to 2001.
Head of the National Communications Bureau of the Central Youth council of PAS for the same period and as the Communications Secretary of PAS Johor in 2001.
Deputy Commissioner of PAS Johor and as the Head of the International Bureau of the Central Youth Council of PAS from 2001 to 2003. He also served as the Head of the Consumer Affairs and Environmental Issues of Central PAS in the same period.
Deputy Head of the Central Youth council of PAS from 2001 to 2003 and Head of the Central Youth Council of PAS from 2003 till the present.
It boggles my mind to read about his participation of so many of PAS's activities that I wonder how the man managed to even spare some time to even breathe?
Hehehehehe...Well, that's what happens when one goes into politics, eh? Exhaustive work I say!
In the General Elections of Malaysia in 2004, Salahudin Haji Ayub was elected by the voters of Kubang Kerian, Kelantan to be their Member of Parliament.
Among the highlights of his life has been :
He is also a member of the International Parliamentary Organization (IPO) and a member of the Defense Caucus of Humanitarian Struggle.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Phew!!! That was exhausting!

I spoke to him about the concern many Malaysians have about the current state of affairs concerning the subject of apostasy of certain individuals from the Muslims here in Malaysia and why PAS needs to play an active part in explaining about these matters to Malaysians, both Muslims and Non Muslims.

After settling down, I set up my tape recorder on his table and got about speaking from my heart.

He asked whether I knew Sheih @ Kickdefella. Well, I admitted knowing about him as a blogger and been reading his writings too.

I then told him of my background and about what I have done and am doing to further the cause of Islam and the Muslims through my Dakwah efforts both online and offline.

Shared with him about my facing Karpal Singh at the Forum Keadilan held way back in the Dewan Sri Pinang , Penang in 1999.

Alhamdulillah , Karpal apologized for his anti Islam stand and 'cross his dead body statement if anyone wanted to set up an Islamic State here in Malaysia.

I then shared with YB Salahudin that I think it's high time for PAS to have a paradigm shift.

All the old style of 'bashing your opponent senseless' with vitriolic abuses and 'holier than thou' attitude has failed the only Malaysian Islamic political party from making inroads to the hearts and minds of this nation save for the State of Kelantan Darul Naim.

We spoke in both English and Malay. I am impressed to see him being able to relate and respond well in English. That's the reward of attending the primary schooling in those years back then. He's only 3 years younger than me so we more around grew up in the same era.

I also touched on the way HARAKAH has been publishing since it's inception. I shared with him my concerns about the party's newspaper always headlining negative issues no doubt being true but being so doesn't help to further the cause of this party to reach out to the masses.

He agreed and promised to see to it that he will share these concerns with the editors. Why must HARAKAH come to be known as the 'bad news brown' newspaper?

I for one feel that there are so many good things that PAS has done but it is not being featured. It is delegated to the inner pages or is even not mentioned or reported on at all by the paper.

You keep lambasting people day in, day out, accuse this fella of that, that fella of this, what do you expect to be regarded as after all those years of being a negative reporter?

Hell, people will shun you. They will keep a wide berth away from you. Same thing goes for newspapers. I am not saying that we can't write about the bad stuff.

Write if you must or even as a precautionary advice but hello...do you have to live and breathe negativity 24 /7?

That's my humble opinion that I shared with YB Salahudin, the National PAS Youth Chief. I also related to him how I flinched and grimaced watching the live web telecast of the recent PAS Muktamar held in Kota Bharu, Kelantan.

There was this PAS ulama, can't recall his name- was too bloody upset. He was castigating UMNO as the 'Setan Besar' @ 'Big Satan'! Tch..tch..tch..tch!!!

This was the kind of behavior that puts off so many Malaysians, Muslims and Non Muslims alike and those in between, the Muslims in Name Only! Hehehehehe...back to my topic! :D

This is the kind of behavior that PAS's Ulamaks need to be cleansed off.

Maybe even be exorcised! Please forgive me for using such a word but I am being absolutely honest and frank here!

This habit has t0 go if PAS wants to see some changes in its future!

Malaysians know that PAS is the least corrupt party here in this nation compared to others but it still has a lot of paradigm shifting to do and a lot of spring cleaning of the hearts and minds of its leaders as well as of its members to be expressly carried out...IF it wants to still lead this nation.

I also reminded YB Salahudin of the old Malay saying of achieving our objectives but in a way that is full of wisdom and commonsense :

" Bagai menarik rambut dari tepong; rambut jangan sampai terputus, tepong jangan sampai berselerak" which means 'As pulling a hair from the flour ; not to have the hair snap off or let the flour be spilled'.

I also shared with him my own saying which is a bit more direct : "Bagai merejam lembing ketengah dada, tembus sampai ke belakang, namun apabila menarik keluar lembing tersebut, tak setitis darah yang keluar!"

which in the English version would be :

' As plunging a spear right through the chest till it protrudes from the back and withdrawing that spear without spilling even a drop of blood!'

What I meant by that is to achieve our objectives of sharing the truth about what Islam is and what it is not by using the proper methods of Dakwah and not incur the wrath of the masses by coming across as being so holy moly.
PAS needs to reformat its system and its methods of operations if it really wants to come across as a viable alternative to the BN.

It also has to be big enough to admit its mistakes and reach out to the Malaysian people sincerely and courageously.

There is just so much that PAS and its leaders can do to fight for the truth, justice and freedom that each and everyone of us so desire to see in our beloved nation.

All it takes is the strength to realize one's slip ups and return to the basics of the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam and see to it that it is practiced by each and everyone of its members.

I shared with him the response and reactions from the Malaysia Today readers who expressed support and admiration for PAS when I has written about the PAS Muslimats Team Dakwah Walkabout around the vice areas of Jalan Raja Laut and their reaching out to the unfortunates caught up in the flesh trade by handing out goodies bags without looking down on such folks.

Many of the Malaysia Today readers had expressed their support for PAS doing something that no other political party had ever done for those people whom many shun away from or stigmatize for obvious reasons.

It is these kind of unimaginable actions by PAS that has won them many accolades from those who are known to be very caustic and tough in their comments in the leading alternative news web blog run by Raja Petra Kamaruddin.

As proven, mere talk does nothing to further one's cause. Actions speak louder than words and in this case, PAS scored all 'A's in my book!

This one event is not enough. PAS needs to be more pro active and do what it can within it's means to show us Malaysians what it can do for the people of Kelantan.

The Lojing Highlands issue is one case where PAS needs to show its accountability and ability to rectify the situation there by taking to tasks all those who are responsible for the deforestation and ensuing ecological disaster there where the mountains or hills have been stripped bare just as they have been at the Bukit Cerakah, Shah Alam in Selangor.

Back to what I shared with YB Salahudin.

I then raised the matter of setting up an Islamic Center there in the PAS HQ to cater to sharing the knowledge and truth of Islam to all those in the vicinity.

I also spoke to YB Salahudin of the need of PAS to groom the its youth leaders to be better in their personal capacities as the future Malaysian political activists.

I also shared with him the urgent need by PAS to turn them into good Da'ee's able to reach out and teach the Malaysian public about the faith of Islam as it really is and not as it is purported to be, by those who know nuts about it or those who are hypocrites and try to sink the ship from within. You know what I mean.

The Malaysian people have been fed the wrong picture about PAS all these while and I as a blog writer intend to show the world what PAS really is and to also help PAS to rid itself of it's barnacles and remora's that are sucking the life out of it and needs to do a total makeover if it wants to still be in the race to lead this nation.

YB Salahudin asked me about what I think of PAS?

I told him point blank that to me I know that PAS means well internally and is struggling its very best to uphold the Commandments of Allah but the way it is going now is just not right.

I told YB Salahudin that PAS's image has been damaged by all those 'fire and brimstones preachers' who so love to castigate people at the public lectures and thus portray a very threatening picture of being overly authoritative and harsh.

We must be firm when it comes to upholding the Laws of Allah but we don't have to be so harsh!

Use the wisdom that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala has bestowed within us and follow the Command of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala enjoins us as per the Surah An Nahl Verse 125 in the Holy Qur'an Al Kareem.

" Invite all (mankind) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching and reason (argue, discuss, debate) with them (those who do not believe) in ways that are best and most gracious".

I also reminded him how the main media has been playing out PAS all these while by clever editing and manipulating the data and visual clips that they take of the PAS speakers blowing off their steam and losing control of their emotions due to instigations or their own plain foolishness as a result of losing their cool and outbursts in public!

I also advised him to learn of other's mistakes especially that of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in forgetting that he is not an ordinary bloke to just let go as he did in Ijok.

Hehehehehe...the poor man was just having a good time dancing to the beat and rhythm of the Indian percussion but what happened?

RTM cleverly edited that clip of Anwar doing the 'jig' and was flashed over and over again by RTM and TV3 to highlight to the general public watching the news that 'Hello! Look at this over confident fellow! Don't you want to prove him wrong and teach him and PKR a lesson?'

Khalid Ibrahim's boo boo also cost them the precious votes!

The media can make or bake any issues to either be an advantage to you or cause your downfall. They will even steamroll you over and over again till you are nothing in the people's eyes!

Very powerful! The media. Don't play play with them!
As Phua Chu Kang would say!

I also warned him of the consequences of false reporting by any media who have an agenda against him or anyone else here on Earth.

Even though we know that pictures can be superimposed with today's technology and we can do a forensic test to determine the authenticity of any visual image, once your reputation is tarnished, the damage will have been done!

So he has to be careful in his daily going abouts as not to be caught in any compromising situations. May Allah forbid!

Datuk Seri Anwar's character assassination by his enemies stands as an eternal reminder of how vicious our media can be. Till this day, his enemies still play up his kopi dangdut joget videoclips and then his preaching from the pulpit as a contrasting scenario online.

May Allah have mercy on the poor man. His is a situation that none should ever have to experience. He is however still magnanimous enough to want to forgive and forget!

I don't think there are that many persons on Earth who would be so forgiving!

I know that any other person so victimized like that would have gone berserk and gone after the perpetrators with a bloody parang and chopped them up to pieces. That would be the natural reactions from any other person or maybe it's just my over imagination! :D

People are very easily influenced by visual images and will believe just anything that is shown to them. So, I advised him to watch out not to be caught in a similar situation. God knows who is out to disturb him or anyone else for the matter. As they say, politics is dirty.

Even if we try our level best not to be with the swine, sometimes the swine can come chasing after us! :P May Allah protect us all. Ameen. As a public figure, he has to watch out for all that he can.

PAS has to do a lot of spring cleaning if it is serious in wanting to rule over us. Its not impossible but they have really got a lot of changing to do and take advantage of the modern science and technology we have today.

PAS has to master the IT world and do a better job in sharing its ideas and its activities with us. People are hungry for justice. If PAS goes about its affairs in a more visible, respectable manner and reduce all that namecalling, labelling of UMNO as the Syaitans , this and that, then PAS stands a very big chance to gain over the Malaysians to its side.

Islam that PAS champions is the God given faith that is the right of all of us mankind here.

How it goes about sharing the news and views of Islam with all of us will determine the outcome of the next GE or the one after it?

History shows us how the big and mighty crumble before those who are honest and sincere and courageous in fighting for the truth and nothing but the truth but there must be a way to achieve it.

I then expressed to him about my main wish. My wish to see PAS and UMNO be one jamaah!

Remember, I wrote about the United Muslims National Organization?

I recall Tuan Guru Datuk Nik Aziz Nik Mat declaring before that the moment UMNO upholds the Qur'an as this nation's Supreme Constitution and puts it to practice, PAS will disband immediately and join its fold as brothers to one another that we truly are!

YB Salahudin shared with me that he has been making efforts to meet up with Pemuda UMNO and has been making contact with Datuk Seri Hishamudin Tun Hussein Onn and the other top leaders.

Well, to me that is a start and should be encouraged. I would love to go on but it's time for me to go fetch my missus.

Will continue when I am free. See you all soon. Take care and May Allah SWT bless us all.

Ameen.

Inter faith Forum- Why wasn't PAS invited to the Dialogue?

Greetings to all.

Although it has been 5 days since the DAP organized the Malaysia -After Lina Joy Forum or Dialogue, a major question keeps disturbing me.

How come the DAP did not invite PAS @ The Islamic Party of Malaysia to the forum?

PAS, the most relevant political party that champions Islam in Malaysia, must be amongst the main representative of Muslims at any forum or dialogue that the Non Muslim entities who want to discuss or debate about something as sensitive and important as the matter of apostasy from the very faith that PAS stands for!

The DAP must be responsible to ensure that the next interfaith dialogue or forum that it intends to hold following this initial dialogue at Hotel Armada last Thursday must not leave out PAS if it is really sincere in wanting to bridge the relations between Non Muslims and Muslims here in Malaysia.

PAS is not wanting in personalities who can hold discussions or dialogues with the Non Muslims of Malaysia for it has distinguished scholars and professionals who can hold their own no matter if the forum or dialogue is held in English, Malay or Mandarin.

I know that the Deputy Spiritual Adviser @ Timbalan Mursyidul Am of PAS, the learned Islamic scholar and much respected Professor Dato' Harun Din can explain so very clearly about the Syariah issues and principles of Islam and the matter concerning apostasy of certain Muslims that Non Muslims here are so worked up about.

I ask that the next time DAP or any other Non Muslim organizations want to invite representatives from the Muslims of Malaysia to any such dialogues or forums to make sure that you do not leave PAS out from such an important event!

I just asked and confirmed about this with the National Youth Chief of PAS and Member of Parliament for Kubang Kerian, Kelantan , YB Salahudin Haji Ayub and he affirmed that they did not receive any such invitations from the DAP! There was no fax from the DAP received or even a verbal invitation from them.

The interfaith dialogue will be a failure if you invite 'Muslims' whom we know for sure aren't exactly rooting for our faith and presenting the true authentic teachings of Islam as practiced by mainstream Muslims here in Malaysia.

It's like inviting the big bad wolf to act as the shepherd of the flock ! Doesn't do justice to us mainstream Muslims of Malaysia. Really!

I believe I speak for the masses of my fellow Muslims who feel that we have been shortchanged by having only Brother Yusri Muhammad explain from the mainstream Islamic point of view to the attending participants of the mainly Non Muslim majority.

I also think that the organizers of any future dialogues must take into account the neutrality of the location chosen in terms of religious sensitivities.

Stadium Merdeka, Stadium Negara or even Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil would be a better venue.

This interfaith dialogues can decrease the religious tensions amongst the Malaysian multi ethnic , multi faithed population brought about by the recent cases which have troubled our hearts and disturbed our souls.

If you have folks such as the ones you had the other night speaking up for the Non Muslims side, you must ensure that the relevant true Muslim leaders here in Malaysia especially the PAS leaders are properly invited to be there to speak for us.

Plan well in advance and invite them to speak for us failing which your dialogues will come to nothing. Make sure that the PAS leadership are notified weeks ahead so that they can arrange their schedules accordingly.

I also feel that you must have officials of JAKIM present to speak from the government's point of views and also those from UMNO! How come they were all missing?

Did the DAP do a rush job in the initial dialogue?

Please improve on this if you want to solve our nation's bout of Islamophobia and return this country to the harmony we all have enjoyed and appreciated all these while.

You guys did a good job last Thursday but I am sure that you can do even better in the next forum. I am all for these interfaith dialogues and will help out if asked.

Please take into consideration all my points above and let's make this 50th Merdeka Celebrations a truly meaningful year with peace, understanding and harmony flourish in all our hearts and minds.

May Allah the Most Compassionate guide us all. Ameen.

Abdullah Badawi shows some mettle at last!

I see a drastic change take place in our Prime Minister Dato Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi after his remarriage!

There is an extra zest in the man and shows his new energy when he made a surprise visit to the Kuala Lumpur City Hall and demanded explanations from the befuddled local authorities over the devastating flooding of the nation's capital metropolitan city with a stern serious look on his face!

Well, this is what the people have been waiting for all these while for the nation's # 1 public servant to kick ass and do what he needs to do to see to it that all the useless talk a lot do nothing idiots do something effective to earn their keep and not give cock and bull excuses or blame it all on Allah as one cabinet minister is infamous for!

DBKL is notorious for its inefficiency and so are all the other local authorities of this nation!

I for one hope that Datin Seri Jeanne will do us a favor and make the Prime Minister happy at home and turn him into a growling tiger! He has been a pussycat far too long and the nation needs him to be a real man now and he needs to take care of business!

We don't need him to be a 'nice guy' and achieve nothing. Abdullah Badawi needs to get tough and wield a big stick as he walks in to all the corrupt government departments and smashes those rats out of the woodwork and rids this nation of the termites and deadwoods screwing up Malaysia.

The Public Works Ministry should be his next stop after DBKL! Go get them 'tiger'!

Hindus, Christians and Muslims Q & A Pt. 3 n 4 -End

This is the 3rd and final part of this series. I wish that instead of jumping to any conclusions and believe in any misrepresentations about Islam by both ill informed Muslims themselves or those who are hypocrites - munafiqs, those of you who are Non Muslims will do this.

Learn about Islam proper. Do yourselves a favor. Appreciate the fact that we have these facilities to learn about God's Faith in this form of media.

Folks who lived before us didn't have this facility. The truth of Islam got distorted over the years by people who didn't know nuts about it and just winged it as they saw fit.

Folks who spew fire and brimstone at the pulpits and the mimbar of masjids have only worsened the situation for the Christians and Muslims have only kept the fires of ill will raging unnecessarily for their own perverted reasons.

Allah Our Loving Creator has given us the Complete Guide to Life in the form of His Last Testament, the Holy Qur'an Al Kareem Al Majeed as a trust to us.

Spring clean your minds from misbelief and distortions about Allah and seek His Love and Mercy. Believe me, that if you are sincere in wanting to know Him, He surely has you in His Mercy, thus His's stirring that feeling in your heart.

May Allah SWT bless us all and unite us in worship of Him. Ameen.

Hindus, Christians and Muslims Q & A Pt. 1 n 2

A Comparative Religious Study lecture by two of the current Muslim world's top Da'ee's. As-Syeikh Yusuf Estes a former Protestant Christian Preacher from the USA and As-Syeikh Dr.Abu Ameenah Bilal Philips from Jamaica.

I hope that you will enjoy watching and listening to these two eminent Muslims who are well renowned personalities, balanced and articulate in their sharing the Truth of Islam to all.

May Allah Our Lord and Creator bless us all with His Guidance and lead us to His Path of Salvation and Forgiveness. Ameen.

22 Australian Brothers & Sisters Embrace Islam Same Time

Praise be to Allah, God Almighty for Gracing them all with His Guidance into Islam!

I ask that you watch the clip here from start to finish and experience the moments!

Subhanallah!

Prayer - No excuse to miss it! Reflect on this.

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

May the Peace, Mercy and Blessings of Allah be upon you. Such is the beautiful meanings of this universal greeting amongst Muslims.

I am sure that you will not object to anyone who comes and wishes such beautiful prayers upon you.

If you object, I just don't know why you should as it is the Greeting of Peace that you too have the right to be greeted with as such.

In these times where anything Islamic seems strange and stands out from all the distractions of this so called modern freedom to destroy oneself as one pleases times, watch how Muslims all over the planet submit to worshiping God Almighty when the time for prayer is up.

Learn about Islam, our birthright and open up yourself to the Mercy of God. Peace be with you!

Umar Al-Khattab -The 2nd Caliph of Islam

Assalamualaikum dear people.

Listen to this lecture about how Saiyidina Umar Al-Khattab Radhiallahu Anhu, the 2nd Caliph of Islam and who was once the terror of Makkah and wanted to chop off the neck of our beloved Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam but whom Allah the Almighty turned him from being an enemy of the Last Messenger Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam into being the Prophet's utmost supporter and protector. Subhanallah!

I ask that all those who have yet to know what Islam actually is, to please spend some time learning about this birthright of each and every humanbeing to submit to God Almighty.

May Allah guide us all and enable us to share the truth with one another. Ameen.

Wa'alaikumsalam warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

British Oppression - Muslims Protest 15th June 2007

British Muslims have had enough of their government's oppressive measures targeting and harassing their life's without any valid reason except that the Christian warlords are just infected with a severe incurable disease called Islamophobia!

They did away with Princess Di for she was about to become a Muslim by getting engaged to the late Dodi Al Fayed, an Egyptian, son and heir to Harrod's owner Al Fayed.

That would be a strict no no for it will spell absolute disaster to the future King of England and Head of the Church of England to have a Muslim mum. So, she had to be snuffed out and they did just that.

Muslims are becoming the target of a vicious hate campaign and England is doing all it can to propagate Islamophobia and sends out it's goon squad to stalk, spy on and arrest any British Muslim who fit into their assessment of a potential terrorist.

It is as they say, that if you start imagining things, over and over again in your distorted mind, even a shadow will look like a spook to you. Looks like the Brits have a serious case of the jitters, sending shivers down their racist and discriminating spine!

Well, the outgoing British Prime Minister and warmonger based on the fictitious charges that Iraq's now hanged to his death, President Saddam Hussein, had Weapons of Mass Destructions stored in his country -which have been proven to be false is guilty of mass deceptions and has blood on his hands.

Blood of hundreds of thousands of the innocent civilian populations of Iraq's Muslims on his hand.

What difference is there between Tony Blair and his equally conniving ally in the current American President George Bush Jr from the all time infamous dictator and Nazi butcher, Adolf Hitler?

They are all killers and mass murderers. Only thing is that Hitler had the balls to do his killings of the Jews whom he publicly hated and disposed off without any lame excuses or deceptions.

These two born again Christian warlords do their killing under pretext of 'Operation Iraqi Liberation' when their true intentions are nothing but to invade, occupy and siphon off the black gold in the form of crude petroleum oozing in the billions of gallons underneath the hot burning desert sands of the now devastated ancient nation of Iraq!

God will judge these criminals in the Last Day but 5 days from now, the spineless coward is going to get a rude awakening in front of his official hideout at No.10 Downing Street!

The poster and video speak for themselves. British Muslims aren't happy and they are going to express their feelings as they know best! So much for freedom of speech and all the bullshit!

Those who are famous for keeping their stiff upper lips are gonna feel a stiff protest very soon!

Welcome Dzul Networks from Sabah to Team Zainking

Alhamdulillah! It gives me great pleasure to announce my latest Uptrend Networks Business Associate from the Land below the Wind, Sabah, DZUL NETWORKS who signed up with a Silver Global Business Entrepreneur package recently!

Dzulkarnain
joined me after following my Uptrend Networks Team ZAINKING's business build up and Insya Allah, if he keeps up his part of doing the business building, will be able to reap great rewards from this hybrid business networking that is proven to be a 100% legitimate and halal according to Islam.

The amazing thing is that we established this business connection by using the internet and sms. I showed him how the business works using Yahoochat and explained it to him by utilizing the Photo Sharing system available in Yahoochat!

What does this prove? That Uptrend is in no way associated with all those Internet Get Rich Quick Investment Schemes!

Apostasy -Criminal Breach of Allegiance to Allah Pt.1

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

May the Guidance of Allah be upon us all. Ameen.

Following the recent focus and attention on the subject of Apostasy by those who are advocating the freedom to deny God, I hereby would like to broach on the subject by sharing with you what the reality is as far as the Supreme Constitution above all other Constitutions from none other than Almighty God Himself has to say about it.

The matter of accepting that there is a Creator of us all and the entire universes before us and all it's contents borders on the realization of us, Mankind that we do have a living spirit @ our soul which is created by Allah and Him Alone.

Read about the swearing of allegiance to Almighty Allah by our souls when we are first created by clicking on to the image above to see it in a larger view.

You can download the Pdf copy of the Holy Qur'an, Allah's Final Testament and His Supreme Constitution for all of us Mankind here.

Apostasy is not something that mankind can take lightly as if we have the right to deny our Creator!

Hell, we wouldn't even be here arguing or debating endlessly about this or any other subject if we weren't created by God in the first place, would we?

Why is it so hard for obstinate minds to understand that we aren't created by God for idle sport?

Did we just come into being from out of the blue as part of a big bang and plop, there we are evolving from as Charles Darwin would have us believe? Well, not in my book.

I believe in Allah and in my life and my own understanding based on my life experiences, have come to learn so many things and I just marvel at the multitudes of Life that God has created and still continues doing so even though so many of His creation especially amongst Mankind choose to defy Him and deny their soul's allegiance to Him when they were first created.

Man is created by Allah and given all that we need by way of our faculties of reasoning and thought yet some of Mankind feed their minds with all negativity about our Creator.

Many amongst mankind are ungrateful to Him who gives them life and they say that they do not owe Him anything.

Just reflect on our beginnings.

“ O mankind! if ye have a doubt about the Resurrection, (consider) that We created you out of dust, then out of sperm, then out of a leech-like clot, then out of a morsel of flesh, partly formed and partly unformed, in order that We may manifest (our power) to you; and We cause whom We will to rest in the wombs for an appointed term, then do We bring you out as babes, then (foster you) that ye may reach your age of full strength; and some of you are called to die, and some are sent back to the feeblest old age, so that they know nothing after having known (much), and (further), thou seest the earth barren and lifeless, but when We pour down rain on it, it is stirred (to life), it swells, and it puts forth every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs). „
Qur'an, 22:5

We mankind are born helpless and clueless to all that is around us unlike many other of God's creatures. Some animals can fend for themselves almost immediately after being born like those born in the wild African savannah's. Who instilled in them that survival instincts if not Allah?

Only the natural instinct of mercy imbued in us all by the Almighty makes each parent (responsible ones that is) to nurture and care for their offspring's. It is our parents who raise us up to be whatever faiths and social traditions of our forefathers.

Those of us who have a sense of rationality will do our own soul searching and try to understand the why's, how's and if's of our own circumstances of being born into any particular faith.

As a child, I didn't understand much about my faith and just followed what the elders of my village did and practiced. Eventually, as I got older, I started to learn more and come to realize the tenets of my faith and started to understand Islam more.

I started to attend all the religious classes and discussions by the scholars of Islam in my home island State of Penang and also those residing in Seberang Perai, Kedah and Perak.

Back then, I was an avid mureed of Islamic Knowledge and at every given opportunity , I'd ride my trusty Honda C70 motorbike to all the 'majlis ilmu' that I came to hear about and would go study from the dedicated Ustaz's that I came to know.

Among my favorites are Ustaz Hj.Abdullah Bukhari, Grand Imam of Masjid Kapitan Keling Penang, Ustaz Shamsuri Hj. Ahmad of Tasek Gelugor, Seberang Perai and Principal of Sek.Menengah Agama Al-Irsyad, Ustaz Yazid, and many others.

I am still learning and discovering many aspects of my faith that never fails to astound me as to the Magnificence and Opulence of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala that transcends the perception of us Mankind and that I believe will never be completely come to be understood by Mankind in its entirety right to the very Last Day on Earth.

I pity those whose hearts are sealed from coming to realize how much Allah loves His Creation and still allows them to remain alive unlike us if we had the power to determine who lives or who evaporates into nothing.

I think that those who apostatize from believing in Allah are those whose hearts and minds are clouded by their ego's and ill conceived notions of being smarter than Allah and the rest of mankind.

Mankind who are misled into such major sins such as throw themselves into the path of doom are categorized into several types. They are :

1. Those who are scholars, academicians, thinkers, lawyers, advocates and solicitors in both the civil and syariah and philosophy.

They delve into the field of academics, law, philosophy, etc. and spend considerable time to argue and debate about the various subjects concerning the rules and regulations of mankind but fail to observe their personal birthrights of not falling into various sins against God and do not uphold their responsibilities that both Allah and mankind place in them.

They get misled by the 'ilm that they come to acquire and possess. They assume that they have reached a certain stage in their positions besides Allah and that they have acquired knowledge that absolves them from Allah's punishments and believe that their advocacy to their clients will be accepted by Al Akbar. They are misled into thinking that Allah will not take them to task for their sins and crimes against both Allah and mankind.

These 'learned ones' often fall into ruin due to their tremendous ego that blinds them from admitting that their knowledge is but a dot compared to the Oceans of 'Ilm that Al Aziz possesses and disburses only a minute fraction to be shared by His creation.

Ego blinds such folks from coming to learn that Knowledge consists of two categories. Those of us Muslims who study about Islam come to learn of these two different fields of 'ilm according to our own levels of understanding and the amount of study we put into it.

They are 'Ilmu Mu'amalah and 'Ilmu Ma'rifat.

I am still and forever will remain a mureed of these fields but Alhamdulillah, am so grateful to Allah SWT for gracing me with the opportunity to learn about it and hope to continue doing so to my last breath. Ameen.

'Ilmu Mu'amalah is learning about the Halal and the Haram, learning about the 'akhlak of the soul that is subject to either being amongst the accursed ones or amongst those who are praised and to learn as to how to heal and treat our soul and what to avoid?

This knowledge is to be put to practice and not just learn it in theory for without practicing what one comes to learn but doesn't practice it is akin to being a hypocrite.

All the acquired knowledge about what's right and what's wrong comes to naught if the learned one doesn't really practice what's enjoined and stay away from what God prohibits.

Many learned ones live double life's. One that they put up before the ignorant public and one that they deem to be their own personal and private choice. Kind of a Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde persona.

All their expertise and 'ilm which they have come to gain and profess amounts to nothing when they lie to themselves and to God what more to the masses who look up to them to lead them to the Mercy of Allah?

The ones who come to state that they are masters of the spiritual realm of 'ilm which is 'Ilmu Ma'rifat and claim to have learned about Allah, His Characteristics and His Attributes but fail to teach others and practices, neglecting their duties and ignore Allah's Commandments and go against His Syari'ah Laws are even worse!

It is a gross criminal breach of allegiance to Allah by those amongst us who lead double life's and do not admit to their faults and pretenses yet stand before the people as being the righteous ones , fighting for justice and championing the 'oppressed'.

Woe betide them who fail to live up to their positions and fail to lead society to the righteous path of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala knows us to the very core of our selfs and none can escape His Sight and on the Day of Judgment will be revealed as to who we really are and all that we have recorded in our Book of Deeds.

Do not think for even a fleeting second that we can get away with even an iota of sin or will we be not rewarded for the smallest good deed that we even had a slight thought of doing.

Insya Allah, I will continue about this topic in the following post.

Peace be upon you.

Daytrip to Bentong, Pahang - Simply refreshing!

Today, I and my missus went on a day trip exploring the town of Bentong, deep in the forests of the Pahang hinterland using the old trunk road from Gombak, Selangor.

Both of us had never set foot in Bentong, hence after having our lunch at the Sri Bundo Minang restaurant in Greenwood, Gombak, we drove through the kampongs and passed by Orang Asli settlements alongside flowing streams.

It was simply refreshing to get away from the city and both of us are nature lovers, hence we always go on these impromptu escapades whenever we can.

The green tropical forest reserves and the winding road was rejuvenating to both the soul and to the eyes to feast on the rich green all around us as the road snaked deeper and deeper into the Pahang heartland.

There were not many vehicles on the almost deserted road save for an occasional lorry or car passing us or those I allowed to pass us as I didn't like to have any cars tailgating us in the trunk road.

I love a leisurely drive and not have to rush as we were there on a cruise and didn't need to drive fast.

At a corner of the trunk road, we came across this beautiful falls and I stopped to take these photos. I just love waterfalls and this is a nice one to stop by.

I feel that the forestry department ought to have the areas cleaned up from the broken branches messing up the flow of the waters.

It is so good to be able to marvel at Allah's creation and to see our tropical forests remain pristine as our forests are important water catchment areas that supply us our fresh water supplies.

When unscrupulous logging companies destroy the ecology by illegally felling timber, the river systems get destroyed and every living thing suffers.

Malaysia's government must ensure that our forests remain undisturbed and whoever damages the fragile ecosystem there be severely fined and ordered to restore the forests back to being as they were. The Lojing Highlands in Kelantan which have been devastated must be replanted tree by tree by those culprits no matter who they are and connected.

Our forests are sources of our water supply and livelihood and each state authority must take preventive steps to guard our precious forests before they are destroyed and gone forever.

I have taken these snapshots of our national heritage and forests to share with you what wonderful natural treasures we have been blessed with by Almighty Allah and we need to preserve them for our future generations.

Eventually we reached Bentong around Asar time and I stopped at the Surau in Bentong to fulfill my obligations. The surau was a bit delapidated and the place looked like it needed better maintenance.

We were just in time to see a Lion Dance performance in front of the Bentong Chinese Town Hall. The ladies were dressed in Baju Kebaya's and the men wore batik. Truly Malaysians!

There was this well kept old Chinese school with an impressive facade there in the Bentong town. The building dates back to 1938. I wonder if the Japanese Army had used the building to house their dreaded Kempetai there during World War 2?

There was this one of a kind tree with ferns growing all over it and I just had to take a snap of it.

Judgmental Muslims in Malaysia- Reason why we are so screwed!

This is what a person who has yet to know me implies and commits fitnah against me for being civil to a Christian who came up to me and shared his problems at the recent DAP interfaith dialogue.
I hope that Muslims here in Malaysia do not end up like this case. Instead of us living in peace and harmony amongst our multi ethnic, multi faithed fellow Malaysians, feelings and snide insulting words like these will be the root cause of how this nation can go to the dogs if we fail to nip such thoughts and insulting minds in the bud!

Wise up and grow up please. Don't sow what you can't afford to reap later!

If you have yet to know who the hell is this blogger in the real sense, please kindly keep your warped feelings to yourself.

I am a Muslim who knows where I stand and what I was and who I now am. You know nuts about me and have the audacity and cheek to libel me like that!

It is for these kind of commentors that I for one support the registration of bloggers so that they can be held responsible and bloody well sued for being so idiotic in their comments!

Forums like these need participants to leave emotions behind and address issues. At the end of the day, at least agree to disagree and we can all remain friendly.

MG58, the area of Jln Gasing that you ventured into has a high density of churches but that is due to historical reasons. Basically, they have been there for decades and I think that a couple of them may even appear "new" as they have been recently re-modelled. But essentially, they have been there for a long time and there has not been a new church or temple in that area for years.

Perhaps church/temple organisations can learn from you how to go about getting approvals ?

New line of business for you :)

Assalamualaikum brother,

Your earlier parts of commenting is quite reasonable and sound thus I accept it.

Let me ask you, what are we humans without emotions?

Being who we are, it is our emotions and passions that give credence and meaning to our existence failing which we might as well not be.

The dialogue was a start to improving relations between us Muslims and others.

The Chinese Christian was just sharing the same news with me about the problems that they are facing there.

He was saying that the local authority there wasn't approving any renovation applications for their church and that they are reduced to renting shoplots to accommodate their needs.

We all understand that land is not in abundance there and that's their current problems.

I object to your last sentence about me doing business with them and helping them out as you imply!

If you are a Muslim sir, you have just committed FITNAH against me!

Why the hell do you say that?

Wake up to the reality that we as Muslims aren't exactly FORBIDDEN to interact and liase with our fellow mankind!

Hell, our forefathers here in Malaysia were all HINDUS a few centuries ago until the coming of the traders from Yemen and India bringing to the Malaccan Hindu Sultanate, the trust and Light of Islam!

It is comments such as yours here that destroys the goodwill that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala asks us to build and carry out as per the Surah An Nahl Verse 125!

" Invite ALL to the Way of thy Lord with Wisdom and Beautiful Preaching and reason with them in ways that are best and most gracious!"

We are all Malaysians sir and we must help each other with whatever we can.

When I say that I can help him in going about his affairs with the local authority there, I was going to share with him how to seek help according to what the laws of this country has in store.

That is what a true Malaysian should do.

All your nice comments about the state of affairs concerning the situation in PJ for those churches bombed with your last sentence!

This is what I say being an example of committing fitnah against me without you knowing exactly what kind of help I intend to give to that man.

A few Muslims here in Malaysia have a severe case of screwing up our faith and reputation by succumbing to base racist ideals and bloated egos thinking that we are to avoid helping one another here in Malaysia to live in relative peace and harmony. I say that you are one.

Wise up brother and please do not judge me without due cause or know who I am.

I am a Muslim and I know my do's and don'ts. Seems like you don't.

For you have just libeled against me without knowing exactly what I intended to help him out with?

Why are folks like you so bloody judgmental and like to spew out words as you please?

Is it in the genes or some malady affecting rational thought and general common sense?

Wallahu'alam.

May Allah SWT forgive you for I have.

If you have yet to know me sir, please don't go shooting off your mouth as you just did.

'Terlajak perahu boleh di undur, terlajak kata buruk padahnya!'

Wassalamualaikum.

DAP Inter Faith Forum on Lina Joy Report

I went to the DAP organized Forum titled 'Malaysia after Lina Joy' at Hotel Armada, Petaling Jaya with MENJ.

MENJ had dinner with me and my missus at Taman Tenaga before adjoining to my place for maghrib prayers and then we left for the forum in MENJ's car.

On our way to the hotel, we took a wrong turn and had to waste a good hour or so and we sort of had an impromptu tour of the Jalan Gasing areas.

For all the hype about the so called religious intolerance in Malaysia and the usual bla bla bla as being plastered over the news in the 'concerned Christian West', we passed by a whole lot of imposing churches every few minutes on our short tour of the area.

Will go take some snaps of the various churches there in the daytime to show the world how very intolerant Malaysia is when it concerns all the other faiths here. As they say, sometimes just talking about things doesn't really get results as much as a visual proof does.

Well, eventually we reached the hotel but were unable to find a parking spot as the whole place including the road curbs were just jammed full of cars.

Go we again on our merry go round looking for space to park our chariot. At last we succeeded getting a space within walking distance to the hotel and we finally arrived at the place.

The forum was being held at Level 3 in one of the ballroom hall. The place was jampacked with people and the Non Muslims were in the majority. There were a scattered few Muslims lounging around outside of the hall for the hall inside was full up.

Seems that we had missed a few of the earlier speakers and when we arrived, the ABIM President Brother Yusri Muhammad was explaining about what Islam has to say about the matter of apostasy, etc.

I took a few shots of the forum and chose to sit near a loudspeaker and managed to record the speeches with my tape recorder.

Every now and then , the people outside would be speaking amongst themselves and there would come out this elderly Chinese guy wearing a red striped t shirt shoo shooing them to keep it down. He was becoming quite a bore and many of the folks outside tried their level best to keep being patient at his trying to be the 'class monitor'. Pathetic fellow, really. His kids must loathe him. Hehehehe.

Anyway, as usual, the speakers took their turns to voice out their thoughts and feelings over the verdict against the apostate by the Federal Court and as usual, the panelists present would raise some points and just make their stand about the matter.

Really hard for me to relay it back to you word for word now but once I have the time, I'd listen to the tape and try to salvage some main points for all to share.

Overall, the forum went well without a hitch. Come question time, some of the forum participants took turns to speak and ask questions or shared their viewpoints about the situation regarding the way they feel things are being handled in this nation especially sensitive matters such as religion and this case of apostasy being referred to the Syariah courts.

If we allowed every Ahmad, Ah Seng, Richard or Samy to just rant on and on, they'd take up the whole bloody night and still not finish yak yakkety yak away! Hence Tony Pua, Mister Moderator would signal the person to cut it short or go straight to the point.

As usual, some folks love the limelight and would rattle away as they please , prompting Tony to ask the person to conclude their speech.

One representative of 'the interfaith group' rattled on about why people cannot do mix marriages here whereas in neighboring countries such as Indonesia , it's no problem?

Sometimes, you just want to laugh out loud at the preposterous ideas such folks come up with and you wonder just what the heck kind of a family is that person vouching for?

A rojak family! Father Muslim, mother Christian, Son Hindu, Daughter Buddhist or freethinker!

Such is the kind of tolerance that fellows like that vouch for. Gobbledegook's if you ask me.

Just because it is an interfaith forum on Lina Joy's case, doesn't mean that folks like that elderly Indian should try to champion his screwed up family ideas.

A few passionate ones stole the show with their raised voices and quoting from the Qur'an or news cuttings and dear ol' Tony would interject and ask the person to please speed it up. :P

MENJ had his turn at the mike and lambasted Lina Joy for 'potong queue'! Hey MENJ! Curi line MG58 ye? Hehehehehe.

Can't remember what else he said but it's all in the tape and I'll update it later here.

Blogger shenyeeaun impressed the crowd with his quoting the Piagam Madinah and also even uttered the Shahadah as an example of how religiously tolerant we should all be and understand each other better and he said it all in fluent Malay!

I was the last person allowed to address the forum and I first and foremost congratulated the DAP for successfully organizing the first ever interfaith dialogue between us Malaysians.

I touched on the matter of Lina Joy not following the proper procedures in going about her case and expressed my stand that she is to be blamed for it. She should have gone to the Syariah courts in the first place instead of trying to do a fast one by going to the civil courts.

I then told the forum that Islam is not a club membership, to sign up and then leave as one pleases. You don't acknowledge God almighty and then turn your back on Him.

Those who want to talk about Islamic matters should first learn the truth about the faith and not just speak as they like without knowing what the heck it is that they are saying?

I then spoke about seeing so many churches over there in Petaling Jaya and asked Uncle Kit about how wrong it is for the people to say that there's no religious tolerance here in Malaysia.

I reminded him about the Jalan Kapitan Keling in Penang where there is a Chinese temple on it's one end, then the Masjid Kapitan Keling, Sri Maha Mariamman Hindu temple, Goddess of Mercy Kuan Yin Temple and a Roman Catholic Church right at it's other end. What religious intolerance are these people talking about?

I ended my speech by asking the DAP to select a larger venue to hold such forums again in the future.

Had many Muslims come shake my hand and get my name cards after that salvo! Just speaking my mind! Glad to have met such dedicated fellow Malaysians!

A few Christians came asking m for my card too and one particular Christian came and shared his dissatisfactions about how the local authorities aren't allowing his church to even do renovations in their own church, etcetera. I shared with him some ideas as to how to go get things done.

Media exposure always helps. A complaint to TV3 might help. We always see overnight results when anything as sensitive as that local authorities trying to show power gets flashed across national tv. Usually within 24 hours. That's the awesome power of the media.

After the forum concluded, we bloggers started to say hi and exchange namecards, take photos , etcetera.

Had an impromptu session with Uncle Kit and the others, where I asked Kit Siang to be cool and steady in Parliament and not lose control when debating with the likes of Samy Vellu, etcetera.

Met Teresa Kok, Politikus, Nathaniel Tan, _earthinc whom I didn't give a hug this time around for the fellow complained last time that Mahaguru58 was a tad too friendly, hehehehe. Also had Nik Elina come say hi to me.

I introduced MENJ to ABIM President Yusri Muhammad and took these pictures here for all to see.

Bloggers Shin, Carbon Copy and Shaarizal Shaarani was there too. Spoke with Ronnie Tan and also Lim Guan Eng.

Overall, it was a good start and everyone went home happy that they came. Thats' it!

Wait for the next one and maybe someone might post a video of this dialogue soon.

This is the DAP counter set up outside of the hall to sell their books, newspapers and stuff.

This is a view of the panelists.

Myself with Yusri. I asked him to organize the next dialogue at ABIM's Anjung Rahmat. Insya Allah.

This is MENJ asking his questions.

Hafiz, Nik Elina, MG58 and Politikus

Yusri Muhammad @ ABIM President with MENJ

MG58, Tony Pua, MENJ, Teresa Kok

The huge crowd

This is the Christian chap who was so happy to chit chat with me and share his church's woes with MG58.

We promised to keep in touch and exchange thoughts through email.

For one thing, this dialogue has given me some new friends and I look forward to the next one.

We Malaysians just need to respect each other and not intrude or interfere in each other's faith.

Then, we will have everlasting peace unless some other case crops up! :P

Anyway, I wish all mankind reading this to appreciate what we have while we have it than lament over this peaceful land if it ever has to witness another race or religious turmoil again.

May Allah Forbid. Ameen.

An Email from a friend regarding the Malays Dilemma

Assalamu'alaikum Sdra Zainol,

It has been quite some time since I last e-mailed you. Just a combination of work and family commitments. I have also recommended your blog to my friends who feel the same way too and have become your regular visitors.

Nevertheless, I have been periodically visiting your blog to keep up with your writings.

I am sure that not only me but a lot of other people especially Muslims feel the same way as you do on the issues you highlight.

The one on your experience in Singapore and your early days in Penang brought back some nostalgic feelings of days gone by.

I was in Penang with the family for holidays last week and had a great time, especially having the Nasi Kandar and Cucur Udang near the Chowrasta Market.

However, it saddens me to see the state of Penang Road and Komtar, once the 'in place to be seen at' has now been deteriorated with dirty vagabonds and beggars.

I could not agree more on your topic about the Malay media depravation.

Not being pessimistic but I do not see things getting any better.

With the plethora of "live" entertainment events, numerous Anugerah (Sri Angkasa, Planet Muzik, TV3, Bintang Popular etc) we (the Malays) seem very happy to emulate or even outclass the Mat Sallehs when it comes to entertainment and living a hedonistic lifestyle.

On a bigger picture, it probably reflects the Malay society in general who have an insatiable appetite in entertainment and gossip.

Those days, if you wanted to see a concert, you would have to go to the city, but nowadays the concerts have invaded our kampongs.

What hope is there when even our kampong brethren now behave in an uncouth manner?

Seeing the Malays today, it saddens me to see that we are heading in the wrong direction.

As proof, I was at a book store quite recently where there were two groups of students, one Malay and one Chinese.

The Malay students were hogging the entertainment magazines, you know the URTV's , Hai etc. while the Chinese students were browsing the Edge, Business Times and Science Today magazines.

The Malays are so engrossed in entertainment which I feel is the "natijah" of our life.

I wish that this was just an aberration, but I have seen this scenario at many other locations.

Even when some of the "celebrities" perform ibadah, they make a story out of it. Think of those who make press releases that they went for umrah, donate to charities etc.

But not all of them are like this, I for one know a well known actor who donates large sums to an orphanage monthly and does not even want the administrators of the orphanage to know.

He just sends the cash through his friends who says that it is from a "Hamba Allah". Perhaps there still is hope.

Anyway, do keep posting the topics and I wish you well in your endeavors in Team Zainking and your Pinyin classes.

I will be e-mailing you from time to time.

Wassalam

Only 90 sens for a hearty breakfast in Alor Star

I applaud the proprietors of Restaurant Nasi Kandar Aina in Pekan Simpang Kuala, Alor Star, Kedah for proving to the nation that prices of the basic Malaysian food being sold today does not have to be as expensive as most restaurants here charge!

For just 90 sens, one can enjoy a piece of roti canai (normal size), a piece of roti jala and a glass of plain tea.

This is simply very good news and the restaurant owners all over this nation ought to be ashamed of their fleecing Malaysians of their money so unscrupulously as many of the Malaysian eateries and bistros do without the fear of God in them.

I read the report here where the restaurant owner Abdul Nasir Abdul Ghaffar, says that his restaurant is responding to the call from the government to reduce prices of food and drinks so as not to overburden the people just because the civil servants are going to get a salary increment soon.

If only more restaurant owners were like him, we Malaysians will not have to suffer that much when eating out. A simple meal nowadays costs us more than RM5.00 and some places even charge up to 30 sens for a glass of warm water!

Lower prices will bring in more and more customers and the restaurants can make a good profit from the increased volume of customers.

I say 'Syabas' to Restaurant Nasi Kandar Aina for taking the first step to make this a reality!

May their business improve and many more new customers throng their place! Ameen.

Jeanne Abdullah -Malaysia's First Lady to be

Introducing Malaysia's new First Lady to be, Jeanne Abdullah.

I would like to express my sincere congratulations to her and to her beau to be, Malaysia's Prime Minister Dato Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi on their proposed wedding this Saturday.

I had hoped that the wife to be of Malaysia's Prime Minister would emulate the example of Her Majesty, the Raja Permaisuri Agong in donning the tudung but I guess that her darling has yet to advice her on that.

Anyway, he answers to Allah, God Almighty for his wards and I as a fellow Muslim and a citizen can only express so much within this space of mine here.

My prayers and sincere wishes are for the couple to be able to live in peace , harmony and full of love and life as they obviously can afford to.

I hope that this marriage improves Abdullah Badawi's vigor and drive to propel the nation further and that he will be able to deliver on all of his promises to us, the Malaysian people!

Everyone needs a mate and it is only fitting that our Prime Minister has a wife to see to his needs and give him the emotional support and encouragement for being the leader of this multi ethnic, multi faithed country is no walk in the park, so to speak.

It's so easy for anyone of us to criticize the man or any other person who becomes the Prime Minister. Only when one is burdened with the tremendous challenges of running the nation, will any of us realize that it's not all that easy being the one held responsible for any thing that goes on during his watch.

Sure, there's so much wealth, power and prestige being the PM and his family are assured of a lifetime of not having to worry about paying bills and debts as most of us have to. The burden of responsibility will actually come to be realized when he stands before God on Judgment Day!

Then will he be taken to task by Allah if he has screwed up or rewarded accordingly if he does a good job leading this nation. No one's perfect and we have to give him some allowances as he is just another ordinary human being, bound to slip up every now and then, just like any of us.

May Allah the Most Merciful grant Dato Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi the wisdom and strength to lead the nation better and practice what he is preaching being the Chairman of the OIC and the conjurer of Islam Hadhari ala Malaysia. Ameen.

Once again, I wish them both a very 'Selamat Pengantin Baru'.

No more lonely nights...no more lonely nights...as the song goes eh? Enjoy yourself Pak Lah!

DAP Inter-Faith Dialogue on Lina Joy Update

Greetings fellow Malaysians.
There has been an update as to the speakers for the scheduled DAP organized Inter-Faith Dialogue titled 'Malaysia after Lina Joy' to be held today at the Hotel Armada, Petaling Jaya starting at 7.30pm.

I am somewhat relieved to learn that Brother Yusri Muhammad, the President of the Malaysian Muslim Youth Brigade @ ABIM will be joined by two other Muslims and not be the sole Muslim as I had posted yesterday based on my sources then.

For an important interfaith dialogue such as this being organized by the DAP, they have to be fair in having a proportionate balance of Muslims and Non Muslims otherwise it will be seen as not being fair to the sole participant from the Muslims side as of yesterday.

The panel of speakers now consist of the following personalities:

YB Lim Kit Siang - Parliamentary Opposition Leader and DAP Chairman
Sdr. Lim Guan Eng - DAP Secretary General
Ambiga Sreenevasan - Malaysian Bar Council President
Leonard Teoh- Malaysian Consultative Council of Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism and Sikhism Legal Adviser
Yusri Muhammad-President of the Angkatan Belia Islam Malaysia @ ABIM
Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim -Parti Keadilan Rakyat Secretary General
Prof Madya Dr. Azmi Sharom - Professor in the Law Faculty of Universiti Malaya

Moderator of the dialogue is Tony Pua, Economic Adviser to the DAP Secretary General.

Could this turn of events and the additions of the two Muslim figures be a result of my stating yesterday that the proposed panel of speakers as at yesterday was unfair due to only Yusri Muhammad being the sole Muslim representative invited to the dialogue and being outnumbered by the Non Muslims?

God knows. Anyway, this is a turn for the better and more to my and I am sure the rest of the Malaysian Muslims relief and to those of us who are interested to turn up or follow what's going to transpire at the dialogue.

For a minute there, I thought the DAP was going to outdo the RTM Forum Perdana slaughter of the Opposition as they always did , only thing this time around it was the Non Muslims who were going to do a fast one on the 'sole Muslim' speaker as at yesterday.

Thank God, my worries are over. I applaud the DAP for taking steps to rectify the situation.

Well, let's hope that this dialogue will be the start of a proper and fair sharing of views and feelings over the state of affairs between us, the citizens of Malaysia and be held in a just manner, giving each speaker the platform to voice out his or her own perceptions and thoughts.

The DAP organizing committee of this dialogue ought to give them room and time to speak about what Malaysians can do to dispel all the unnecessary rumors and underlying grievances in our hearts due to the way certain elements try to create a situation where religious strife and confrontation could break out amongst the multi faithed and multi ethnic population of this nation.

This interfaith dialogue can be the start of a more harmonious existence for all of us living here in Malaysia. The people will judge the DAP based on how they run this event and evaluate whether the party will be fair to all who have been invited to speak up for their respective faiths.

Let's pray that the outcome will be one that we all can accept and appreciate. Insya Allah.

Malaysia's PM getting remarried! Selamat Pengantin Baru!

'Selamat Pengantin Baru Pak Lah!'

The rumors have been proven to be true! Hehehehehe...who says 'don't listen to rumors?'

RPK hinted in his Malaysia Today alternative news blog a few month's back that our 'Eligible Bachelor # 1, the Malaysian Prime Minister is getting hitched again to a 'Jeanne Danker' or something.

If you do a Google Search on that 'Jeanne Danker' chances are that it might show up pictures of a Singaporean Media Corp artiste and whose pictures aren't of the 'auntie types'! :P

Well, finally out comes this official statement from the Prime Minister's Office no less that our big boy is finally not going to feel lethargic anymore thanks to his soon to be officially wedded new wife.

Well, Rosmah Mansor can't be seen officiating at that many official functions anymore as the nation is soon going to get it's brand new 'First Lady' and BAKTI will get a new Madame President.

Well, I am sure that Rosmah's turn will come in the future and she will just have to bide her time and be in the queue unlike Lina Joy who wanted to do a fast one with the legal systems here.

I hope Abdullah Badawi will follow Raja Nazrin's example and not waste too much money on his wedding celebrations.

Civil servants will be getting their windfall soon and the atmosphere is just right in the nation.

Wonder where our newlyweds are going for their honeymoon?

Meditarranean cruise on the Cobra, maybe? Just asking...hehehehe.

Whatever it is , Pak Lah, as the Imam of 'Islam Hadhari' that you conjured up with, I hope that your new spouse will be following the example of Her Majesty, the DYMM Seri Paduka Baginda Raja Permaisuri Agong and don the tudung from now on.

There's just too many 'lioness manes' we see around in the high society there!

Do set the best examples for all Muslims as you are the 'Imam Besar' of Malaysia's Islam Hadhari' .

Here's wishing you both a very blessed 'Nikah Mubarak'!

Selamat Pengantin Baru Pak Lah!'. Semoga bahagia selamanya! Ameen.

Well, this is just a natural follow up of what many concerned Malaysians feel about the verdict of the Highest Court in Malaysia on the apostate @ Azlina Jailani @ Lina Joy's failing to get the National Registration Department to delete the word ' ISLAM' from her My Kad as she had applied for.

I mean, to me personally her method in pursuing her wishes were carried out in the wrong manner. There are certain legal steps that she should have taken to get certification as to her change of status in her faith.

Since this nation is having two systems of Laws for Muslims and Non Muslims, she as a citizen of this country can't expect the authorities to just kowtow to her wishes and not follow the proper procedures in going about her affairs.

As a born Muslim, she was registered and filed into the NRD's system as a Muslim.

Following her apostasy, she thought it would just be a simple procedure of going to any Commissioner of Oaths and make a sworn declaration that she no longer practices Islam and is now a baptized Christian.

When she went to the National Registration Department of Malaysia and applied to have the classification of being a Muslim removed, naturally the Registration Department have to follow their set procedures.

To affirm the status of faith from not being a Muslim, the only legal body authorized to judge on her case is not your local kopitiam or internet political forum or any Ahmad, Ah Seng and Samy, right? It is none other than the Syariah Courts of Malaysia.

We all know that we are living here in Malaysia, not in Papua New Guinea or Christmas Island to do as we please, jumping from one faith or religious status to another at just our whims and pleasure.

Malaysia has it's own legal systems. Although we have a Civil Court for ALL Malaysians,
we also have a Syariah Court to judge over Muslims or those who want to be ex-Muslims affairs.

So, the apostate screwed up by trying to fast track her way to be a certified Christian.

The Federal Court which is this nation's highest court saw fit to overrule her appeal to 'potong queue'.

The Chief Justice is not your 'kampong pakcik' to judge as he pleases over a cup of 'teh tarik' or 'nescafe kow kow'.

He didn't just come to his decision in a split second or in a day or two.

Certainly, the Learned Chief Justice of Malaysia must have gone through all the standing rules and laws of this country as this being also the first Malaysian 'Muslim' to officially apply to apostate and have the legal system certify such an application.

When the Chief Justice read out his verdict, he stated it crystal clear that this is a matter that falls under the jurisdiction of the Syariah courts as it concerns verifying the status of belief or disbelief of the said person.

Now, all she has to do is to go file her case in the Syariah Courts of this nation and plead her case.

She is not short of lawyers and advocates who are all rallying behind her in this landmark case which will decide all future cases that concern the same category. Free legal services? Could be!

The next step is hers. This forum as I see it, is just gonna be a letting off steam session where all of the apostate's supporters are gonna be speaking for her or ranting as they feel like it.

Yusri Muhammad is the sole Muslim leader scheduled to speak on the matter from the Muslims perspective.

He is grossly outnumbered by the Non Muslims who surely will be out to maul the heroic fellow as in the coliseum of ancient Rome. Only difference is that the one seeming to be led to the 'slaughter' is no ordinary lamb.

Yusri Muhammad is the President of the Malaysian Muslim Youth Brigade and leader of this nation's largest group of Muslim youths.

He is an excellent example of how Muslims are in the real sense when it concerns matters as sensitive and equally important as this case.

All Muslims reading this should be there to show your support to Brother Yusri and to state our stand on this important after verdict forum.

I ask that there be none who loses control over themselves and sparks off any unnecessary confrontations or instigate anyone else to disrupt this supposed to be an 'interfaith dialogue' among responsible and concerned citizens of our beloved Malaysia.

Be there tomorrow. May Almighty Allah grant us the wisdom and rationality to solve this issue.

May Peace reign in our hearts and minds. Ameen.

Depraved Malay Main Media -Root Cause of Moral Rot

Assalamualaikum to all Muslims and May Peace be with the rest.

I would like to touch on something that has been gnawing at my heartstrings all these while.

It concerns the rising spate of crimes especially those perpetrated by the Malays who are supposed to be Muslims and amongst those who submit to Allah the Almighty and are to stay away from committing sin especially against their own family members and society in general.

A major factor contributing to this rising crime is the lack of social consciousness amongst us.

The Director General of the Social Welfare Department of Malaysia Datuk Rafek Reshidullah calls for our society to be vigilant and report to the authorities if they suspect any abuse taking part in their neighborhood.

Malays are the worst culprits as far as crimes involving abhorable cases such as incest and other violations against womenfolk and children are concerned.

Why is this happening in the Malay community when as Muslims they are supposed to be protective towards their wife's and children especially their daughters and female relatives?

Could this be the result of gradual exposure to the main media's hedonistic feed through the various entertainment publications and events featuring scantily clad female artistes and singers over time?

I browsed through the internet and checked on Utusan Malaysia's online website and what do I see?

Here, better let the pictures speak for themselves.

This is nothing, some might say! There are even no holds barred images showing the Malay girls and young adults exposing themselves and their acts for the whole wide world to ogle at and modesty takes a flying leap into the sewers of the minds!

All these loss of shame didn't happen overnight! It has been going on from the early days of newspapers printing and publications and then with the coming of the television.

The authorities of Malaysia speak as if they have done all they can to preserve and protect the family institutions by enacting so many laws and rules that there's not much standing room left if we were to check up on them one by one.

The problem is these highly visible but ignored so far media violations of pimping the sexual attributes of clueless and impressionable young artistes and starlets to go pose as they do for the media photographers and their morally bankrupt editors.

Would the photographers and the editors publish such pictures of their own wife and daughters as they do with these young people?

The media whether they realize it or not are responsible for molding public opinion and they do so through the way they report news and events and promote any one or anything in their publications and television broadcasts. Same way with films shown in the cinemas.

Our society is known to be great imitators. Children from very tender ages ape the ways and mannerisms of the popular singers, artistes and comedians.

Parents nowadays shameless tout their offspring's to gyrate before the public as in the Macam Macam Aznil Astro Prima Tv Program where they exploit young kids to do all sorts of silly antics just to boost their tv ratings and draw viewers and sponsors for such programs.

Magazines such as Mangga, an Utusan publication highlights the cleavage of the teenage Malays and the more skin and flesh they get to show , the more sales their magazines will see.

All this takes place in the Land of Islam Hadhari.

As I have said before and I repeat again, all the Mufti's and the Ulamaks of this nation somehow get severe cataracts in their eyes and a state of brain dysfunction where they become oblivious to all these going on's.

Must have something to do with power and position or connections and cables running underground and all over to at last plugging in to wallets or bank accounts. I don't quite know where to put it but it's there somewhere. Need to be a master in this sleuth thingy but I'll leave that to my brother in arms, KTemoc.

Now, that's a real sleuth if you ask me but the man's a bit of media shy ( pun intended).

Malays aren't as they were before. Today, a growing number of Malays don't give a shit to matters as shameful and as destructive as committing incest with their daughters or sisters.

Some might ask what is the correlation between what the Malay media are dishing out to the public and fathers committing incest with their daughters?

Well, to me, it's all a matter of those sickos amidst us who are somewhat subjected to all those viewing of exposed flesh, out of control nafs and passions, middle age crisis, lack of religious knowledge or even when well informed succumb to their base animal instincts, forgetting to know how to differentiate between right and wrong and also fueled by the continued build up of emotions channeled to the wrong targets of their lusts.

It's a reality and those who feel outraged by this statement of mine can go take a flying leap into the nearest Indah Water treatment pond.

Those who think that this is all nonsense can just think whatever they like and lay the blame elsewhere but to me as a bloody conservative fundamentalist in your face cyber jihadist or whatever you want to bloody well think, I don't give a hoot to your philosophies or points of view!

This is the realities of our times. The Ulamaks are stifled whenever they want to speak up or voice out against the ills plaguing society and like in the case of the previous Selangor Mufti who spoke against the scantily clad Malay females frolicking in the Zouk discotheque and got flamed from all quarters and at last it was the scholar who got sidelined and eventually replaced and not the culprits who had to face the music!

What the hell is our gone crazy society coming to? Astaghfirullah hal azim. Tch tch tch tch :(

It's high time we nip this problem in the bud and weed out the contributors to our society's moral rot and social decline!

Form neighborhood watches in your area and be the saviors of the future generations of this nation. If you know something's going on, inform the authorities and stop the abuse.

We are responsible to stop these louts before they harm any other child or woman.

It's so bloody frustrating to see the inaction of our authorities that I long for the day when the true Laws of Allah are going to be upheld and all these vicious criminals be brought to justice and given the death penalty for their crimes!

Yes, nothing but capital punishments for those who go and commit such crimes as reported here.

Let the bastards die! No point in wasting the taxpayers money to feed and keep them alive in jail whilst their victims suffer in shame for the rest of their life's on Earth!

Well, that's what I think.

Alleycats - My Sincere Condolences to David Arumugam!

In Memoriam ~ Loganathan Arumugam (1953 -2007)

From Allah we come, to Allah we return.

My heartfelt condolences to David Arumugam, on the passing away of his brother Loganathan Arumugam, his partner in Alleycats, one of this country's legendary pop group from my home island State of Penang.

The late Loga passed away this morning at 10.50am in Mount Miriam Hospital, Penang due to complications arising from lung cancer.

Loga and his brother David are famous for their Afro hairstyles and their Malay songs repertoire which are amongst the all time karaoke favorites and have been many top of the charts hits since the early 70s till now.

Malaysia has lost one of it's illustrious sons and a major partner of the Alleycats who have entertained millions of us with their catchy songs and unique style.

Thanks for the memories Loga!

Muzium Negara - Incompetency in all areas!

Yesterday, after having lunch at one of the traditional kampong Malay food stalls in Hulu Langat, me and my missus decided to visit our National Museum.

The last time I went to Muzium Negara was way back in 2001 when I first arrived in KL to settle down permanently here from my home island State of Penang after my divorce.

The museum back then was worth visiting and I enjoyed my tour of the place with all it's various artifacts and ancient collections making it all worth my visit.

Yesterday, all my memories of the place evaporated into a deep set feeling of disgust and dismay to see the museum short change it's visitors with only a floor of lousy displays and incompetent dour faced security staff minus all the pomp and pageantry they usually hype about Malaysia Truly Asia and all the bullshit you see flashed on our national TV!

I was so ashamed of my national museum now turned into a showcase of how screwed up this national heritage center has now become! Really nothing to be proud of and something that could seriously bring our national pretentious aspirations come crashing down into the sewers for the gross incompetence being allowed to run riot there!

First and foremost, you are charged RM2 for the parking under the hot blazing sun. No worries. We have paid more for our parking here in money, money, money city.

We then walked in to the Pameran Melayu. You have to sign your name , state where you are from, number of persons with you and initial it. The register is on an ordinary foolscap book you can buy from any bookshop.

Imagine the 'cokia' impression it gives out that 'hello' for a nation that is so bloody obsessed with achieving the highest this, the largest that, the bullshit this one, bullshit that one, it can really be damn proud of it's most cokia' guest register these part of Asia!

Then, there's the mediocre if not damn lousy display of some descriptions of the various Malay ethnicities and their origins from South East Asia.

Didn't see any 'Melayu Penang' <> Mamak Penang's being depicted despite the major achievements the ethnic group have in passing off themselves as pseudo Malays and squeezing in to even ministerial positions in the current and former Malaysian Cabinet.

Sensitive some might say. To heck with it. Anyway, the Pameran Melayu was just a half hearted attempt in trying to pass off as something to be proud of the Malay past. Boring...nothing to crow about , really.

Next, we went to the Pameran Orang Asli. Same procedure there. Write in your name, country of origin, number of pax, initial.

Usual run of the mill, Orang Asli wood carvings, video showing Orang Asli woman giving birth in the jungle with her husband assisting, some blowpipes, mengkuang weavings, a few native musical instruments, a couple of mannequins dressed in tree bark clothings, and voila..that's about it.

Next, we ventured forth into the main building. Entrance fee of RM2 for adults, children enter for free.

Nothing much to see. The Museum is undergoing renovations and the public are limited to just browse a floor of the major Malaysian ethnic displays. Major letdown!

They shortchanged the public with such lousy displays and never bothered to put up a display stating that the museum is undergoing renovations and that the usual displays aren't viewable at the moment!

Why the hell can't the museum authorities notify the public about the situation or just waive away the entrance fees as there's nothing much to see at the moment?

Another major issue I have with them is the placement of unsmiling , unfriendly, sour faced idiots at the entry points!

Imagine what a tourist feels coming to face such discourteous morons at Malaysia's National Museum?

I am sure that they will spread the word that Malaysia is just a pretentious , full of hype, conniving place full of dour faced imbeciles not worth all the pay rises that they are going to get soon!

Talk about heartaches. I had a major one yesterday seeing all those idiots manning the entrance counters of the place with one cross eyed Malay female security personnel at the Agong's Exhibition taking the major prize for being the sourest looking moron to man a public museum entrance counter!

She will win, hands down for her demeanor. None can challenge that cross eyed dumb and getting dumber by each passing second look! :P

The only exhibits that sort of soothed my heart was the Maritime Archeology displays. Even then, more could have been done to improve the exhibition to be more pro active.

They could have someone brief the visitors about the exhibits and how they came to be salvaged and discovered.

The guide could be dressed in the historical garbs of the period and explain how things took place and how the shipwrecks were discovered.

Imagination...that's all it takes to liven up things and to make the visit to the museum a memorable event that people can look forward to. Not pay money and go see cross eyed monsters! :P

The Gallery showing the life and pictorial record of the Yang Di Pertuan Agong was just alright. They could have had the Royal Nafiri troupe put on shows every other day to add some pomp and pageantry to the display. Can be arranged, right?

I pity all those folks who came from all parts of the country especially during these school holidays for being shortchanged by the museum and I will definitely not recommend you to go visit the place for the moment being.

Unless of course you love being not welcomed with a smile or just treasure being ignored by cross eyed sour faced security staff during your visit! :D

Another major let down was a 'Flea Market' thingy set up just outside the main building where very loud hip hop music was being blasted to the visitors frequenting the place!

Wah!!! Talk about wrong music at the wrong place!!! The surau was just a couple of meters away from the mostly 'made in Thailand' stuff being touted for sale there and there was this loud hip hop thingy being allowed to be blasted there spoiling the whole concept of a Malaysian major tourist 'attraction'!

That was a major tourist distraction, if you ask me? What the heck are the authorities doing at the museum?

Can't they see to it that traditional Malaysian culture and music be played at the place?

Can't they employ all those retired Malaysians to do their part for the nation and act as guides for the various exhibits, equip them with portable mini loudspeakers and those microphones such as the ones you see singers use during the concerts, dress them up with our traditional Baju Melayu's, Chinese Mandarin outfits or with the Indian Kurta's etcetera ?

Make use of our nation's golden age citizens. They deserve to be there at the museum and share their experiences with our people and the many tourists visiting from all over the world.

Next, we could have the traditional cultural troupes and music ensembles be engaged to play live traditional music to the visitors at a special stage or arena that could be easily set up there in the halls or suitable places there at the museum.

This will in turn keep alive our traditions and also carry on our nation's rich historical past. Those traditional troupes could be rotated on a daily basis and each ethnic group be given a chance to show their repertoire to the public accordingly.

The government is rich enough to spend millions on fireworks and stuff on special occasions every now and then. Such money could be better spent by paying the various traditional music and cultural groups of our nation, spreading the wealth fairly and keeping alive our national musical heritage.

Dondang Sayang groups from Penang and Melaka could be engaged to entertain the visitors to the museum and also continue their rich traditions for the people now and years to come.

Students from various secondary and primary schools could be allowed to present their renditions and speeches about the nation's history at the museum's grounds. Imagine how this will in turn enrich and empower our nation's future generations to remember our history better and in the appropriate surroundings.

There is just so many things that the museum authorities can do for the upkeeping of our nation's history IF only they are WILLING to affect change and preserve our nation's treasures and heritage in the manner which they deserve.

As it is, the museum is a joke right now and I do not wish to upset myself any longer crying about it's incompetent state. If the authorities have any moral sense of responsibility left in them, they should buck up or privatize the place.

I am sure people won't mind paying even RM5 to enter and have all those things presented to them. Anyway, the government can afford it!

I as a citizen can only give so much ideas. The rest is up to them. Peace out!

Non Muslim Kelantan Chinese PAS Supporters Honored

The recently concluded 53rd Muktamar of PAS @ Islamic Party of Malaysia, held in Kota Bharu , State of Kelantan had a special guest speaker addressing the 1,125 delegates from all over the nation.

The Chairman of the Chinese Community Supporters of PAS Club , Mr. Hu Pang Chaw was given the honor of speaking to the largest gathering of PAS leaders in the heart of the only Opposition run state in Malaysia.

He expressed his gratitude to PAS for giving the club members the platform to engage with the PAS leadership in matters concerning the Chinese community and for working together with them in holding various activities for the Chinese in Kelantan.

PAS through it's Social Unity Unit has held many events such as taking part in the Moon Cake Festivities, Dinners and Dialogues with the Chinese community in Kelantan.

Picture shows the Kelantan Menteri Besar and PAS Spiritual Head, Tuan Guru Dato' Nik Aziz Nik Mat attending a Chinese New Year celebration event.

Mr.Hu asked PAS leaders to be more proactive in reaching out to the Chinese community throughout the nation as the main media has been portraying a wrong image of PAS to the people all these while and he promised to do more on his part to share the actual situation with PAS to the Chinese in the state and throughout the nation.

Mr.Hu Pang Chaw, an ex journalist with a Chinese daily in Kota Bharu has published a local Chinese newspaper called Re Min Shi Shi which from an initial 5,000 copy print out has now increased to more than 50,000 copies daily distribution.

This goes to show Chinese in Malaysia not to just believe in all the media hype about PAS being an ultra this or that party.

PAS stands for a fair just government that gives everyone their share of progress and mutual prosperity.

The Chinese in Kelantan find doing business there much more easier because there isn't much of a corruption problem in the state.

From the looks of things, PAS is finding support from the most unexpected sources as the GE looms around the corner.

The BN will naturally go all out to see to it that PAS doesn't get an easy win with this new growing support coming from the Chinese and Indian Malaysians.

PAS needs to capitalize on this healthy trend by doing more for all Malaysians. Insya Allah.

PAS's Dewan Ulama get a wake up call!

The Dewan Ulama of PAS @ Parti Islam seMalaysia got a wake up call from one of the delegates to the 53rd Muktamar @ Congress of the party at Kota Bharu, Kelantan.

Misbahul Munir Masduki, the delegate from Perak lambasted the scholars for being ineffective all these while and just be alike empty tins wasting away their times at the surau's and masjid's of this nation and failed to go do their duty for society as they should!

I have long lamented the fact that all the scholars, all the ulamak's of this nation including the mufti's have long been deaf, dumb and blind if not paralyzed letting the nation go to waste and the Muslim's rot in social and moral decay for far too long!

The Ulamak's and Mufti's have been getting fat sitting on their plush seats of power and position and failed to do their duty for the Ummah!

They are only interested to being reduced to be the prayer reciter's at official functions of the powers that be and are at times totally ignored when it comes to matters concerning the affairs of the Muslims and society in general.

These are persons who claim to have a long list of ijazah's and PhD's, Masters of this and that and have all the worldly recognitions fill up their office walls and homes.

They are somewhat living in a world of their own, imagining themselves to have done their jobs by being appointed to their posts and that's all there is to their achievements in their life's.

Mere rhetoric is not going to save the Muslims from further deteriorating into worthless Muslims in Name Only as we have now amongst us here in 'Islam Hadhari' Malaysia.

Misbahul Munir has only sort of smacked the learned ones from their stupor but it takes the Ulamaks to own up to what they have not done for the Ummah as they should.

I mean no disrespect to the scholars but it is high time that our Ulamaks from both UMNO and PAS to return some sense of integrity to their positions.

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala will judge them for failing to carry out the trusts that both the government and the public have placed upon them.

The Malay Sultans also need to wake up to their duties to uphold the status and dignity of Islam in this land.

Muslims expect the Ulamaks to just do their part and get down to the grassroots, do their dakwah work and help bring the Muslims back to the true teachings of Islam.

They must stop warming their seats on the useless Forum Perdana's and hypocritical made for TV programs.

I support this call for the Dewan Ulama PAS and also those from UMNO, especially from JAKIM, JAIS, JAWI and all the JA's of this country to wake up now and correct this situation.

The Ulamaks need to keep up with the times and be IT savvy and reach out to the people and do away with all the office politics and restrictive protocols that they have shielding them away from the reach of the ordinary people who need to consult them at any given time.

If they wish to, there are so many of us out here who would only be so willing to show them how.

May Allah SWT guide them and us to salvation. Ameen.

Christians and Muslims! Be aware of instigative reports.

I came across this Asia News website that is run by P.I.M.E. the Pontifical Institute for Foreign Missions, an organization run by the Roman Catholic Pope.

I can understand that being the Pope, naturally, the Head of the Catholic Christians of the world will just do what he needs to in order to further his faith's interests.

The Asia News website carries news and views that champions their Christian belief and I am all fine with that.

What I am not that happy about is the blatant lie that the website publishes as a matter of fact about how things are here in Malaysia.

Those who do not know the reality here will just swallow each and every word that the Christian news site publishes and accepts it as the absolute truth as it is coming from the Pope's office, no less. Read an excerpt of the misleading offensive paragraph from the page.

" Under Malaysia’s current constitution, Malaysian citizens who are ethnic Malays are ipso facto Muslim, speak the national language and practice its culture. Hence, anyone who renounces Islam is no longer considered Malay."

This is the kind of misreporting that damages the reality of how things are and how such blatant lying by an organization as important as one which represents the Pope of the Christians fuels the ongoing mistrusts and cold war raging between the Christians and the Muslims of this world.

How the hell can a Malay be another ethnicity by just apostatizing from Islam? Unless of course the particular Malay goes forth and does a 'Michael Jackson'!

You know, change the facial features and skin color and all the usual run of the mill stuff?

Anyone can go embrace anything and change this and that but he or she can't change who they are.

The argument might be that the Malaysian Government has that clause in the Federal Constitution but in reality the Malays have not been so bloody strict in vetting the entrance into their fold of various native citizens of Malaysia and those from the Indian Muslim fold to pass themselves off as Malays.

Such blatant misreporting further adds to the hatred brought about by similar irresponsible reporting by certain quarters exactly as this one from the Pope's media outlet.

I ask that all Christians and Muslims of the world and especially those of us living here in Malaysia to speak up and condemn these kind of misreporting that will only go towards driving the wedge between us deeper and drive us further from religious tolerance and understanding between us all, no matter where we are in this world.

'El Papa', you have some serious repentance to do, sir! Shame on you for allowing these to be!

United Muslims National Organization - Possible?

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Ta'ala Wabarakatuh!

Dear Muslims of Malaysia,

The time has come for us to close ranks and unite under just ONE organization to take care of the affairs and future of ISLAM in Malaysia.

UMNO and PAS need to put aside their differences and come together as one under the banner of Islam.

Why continue this ongoing cold war between two of the largest Malay Muslim political parties when they know that if they come together as one , they will be one major kick ass political entity that will be able to safeguard the position and status of Islam in this Malaysian soil?

As long as we are divided by petty quarrels and squabbles over a matter that is precious to both parties which is the upholding of true Islamic values and principles, we will see more and more cases such as the recent apostasy issue continue to eat away at our hearts and souls.

Personally speaking, I think that we are all so caught up in useless racial divides when race doesn't really matter to us in the context of living our life's here in Malaysia.

Religion is what we all feel so strongly about save for a few nincompoops who don't adhere to any. Why should we waste even a second arguing with such folks who only love to debate endlessly with no end to their madness?

We have Malays, Chinese, Indians, Punjabis, Orang Asli's, Caucasians, etc who are Muslims.

Same goes for Christians who have more around the same mix of ethnicities subscribing to their beliefs.

Taoists are mostly Chinese. Buddhists are comprised of the Chinese majority, Ceylonese and some Caucasians.

Hindus comprise mostly Indians, Indonesian Balinese Malays, and some Westerners.

Sikhism is reserved for just Punjabis.

Islam is universal and for us here in Malaysia, we have all the ethnicities embracing it.

The Christians can come together and have their own major coalition of parties and stand as one.

The Buddhists should unite under one major body that will safeguard their rights.

Hindus in the MIC, PPP, IPF all unite as one body and take care of their interests.

We will be able to have a nation where religion rules as it should and not just squabble endlessly about racial issues which are a major waste of time and something that really doesn't matter before God Almighty!

When we die, the Malaikat's are not gonna be bothered whether we are from UMNO, PAS, MCA, MIC, DAP, PKR or whatever race based party?

We will be judged based on our deeds and our faith in God. That's the real deal about how things are. All these earthly racial strife comes to naught before God. Would you all agree?

Hence, my desire to see UMNO and PAS be big hearted enough to see that they both stand to only gain more from forgiving and forgetting the past squabbles they have had and be gentlemen enough to embrace each other with the spirit of 'Ikhwanul Muslimin'.

Tun Dr.Mahathir Mohamad and the late PAS President Allahyarham Datuk Ustaz Fadzil Noor could sit together side by side and jointly state their positions about the Palestinian issue at Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka before.

What makes it so hard for the UMNO President , Dato Seri Abdullah Haji Ahmad Badawi and PAS President Dato Seri Tuan Guru Haji Abdul Hadi Awang to do just that, for the sake of the solidarity and future of the Muslims in this nation?

I know that there will be some sort of reluctance on the part of office bearers of both parties to give way and sacrifice their individual high positions for which they have struggled to attain all their life's but the challenges being made against Islam by certain elements lately raises concern to us Muslims who want this divide between UMNO and PAS to be closed and forged as one, from now till forever.

It's not easy for politicians to sacrifice personal achievements and positions but the two major Malay Muslim political organizations need to sit together and see where they can co-operate and work together to safeguard Ad Deen ul Haqq from those who are conspiring against it.

Possible within our lifetime? Wallahu 'Alam Bissawab.

May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala give us all His Taufeek and Hidayah to see this take place.

Ameen Ya Rabbal Alameen.

Syariah Court Rulez! That's what I was rejoicing about!

Greetings to all!

Let me make it clear that I was not rooting for Lina Joy being forced to retain her status as a Muslim when we all know clearly that she is an Apostate and deserves to be treated as one!

I was more relieved as a Muslim that the Syariah Court (with all it's diluted man made laws) was allowed it's proper jurisdiction to decide and judge over this matter which is clearly one to do with affirming the status of belief or disbelief of a Muslim.

This is what I was praising God about! When we Muslims praise the Lord Almighty, that's how we do it. We shout the Takbir -'Allahu Akbar' meaning 'Allah is the Greatest!'

You don't expect us to sing 'Hallelujah' do you?

So, don't go all crappy and worked up saying that Malaysia is intolerant of Christians, Hindu's, Buddhists, Sikhs, whatsoever!

We have yet to go burn down a church or a temple here in this land as you folks (Non Muslims) imply or insinuate -especially those of you in the West!

Such things happened in the US Southern States when your grand daddies used to go lynch the Afro Americans @ Blacks and hanged them from the trees -even though they were Christians just like yourselves!

We may have our differences here in Malaysia about the attempts by certain quarters here who so love to interfere into the Malaysian Muslims affairs unlike us Muslims who couldn't care less about the beliefs and practices of our fellow Malaysians who just happen to be Kaffir's.

Now, don't get excited about my usage about that word too. Kaffir is an Arabic word meaning 'Disbeliever' in Allah. The Believers are called 'Mukmins' or 'Muslims'. Straight forward. No insulting terms or mislabellings.

I for one don't give a hoot about this Azalina binti Jailani if she so wants to be a Kaffir. It's her life ; it's her soul. She wants to go to hell? By all means, proceed!

Why should we bother about one apostate when we have millions of other people embracing Islam by the day all over the world?

Here in Malaysia, we have exemplary Muslim converts like the distinguished Datuk Hj.Mustapha Ma, President and Chairman of the Malaysian Chinese Muslims Association, Haji Ridhuan Tee, Ustaz Farid Abdullah, Brother Shah Kirit Kokulal Govindji, Ustaz Hussein Yee, Haji Kamarudin Abdullah Santanasamy, President of the Islamic Propagation Centre International (Malaysia) and so many others who are worth so much more to me as a fellow Muslim than worry about Lina Joy, who wants to apostate herself from the Mercy of God?

Lina Joy can go fly kite as far as I am concerned! We don't need hypocrites and munafiqs in Islam , bringing God's Faith into question and disrepute! Good riddance I say!

Prime Minister Dato Seri Abdullah Hj Ahmad Badawi spoke so wisely yesterday when some dumb reporter insinuated that there was political pressure exerted on the judiciary to have judged as they did?

PM Abdullah Badawi pooh poohed that idiotic statement and replied that 'if Malaysia is truly intolerant of Christians as you say, there will be no more Christians allowed to be here in this land!'

Those of you living outside Malaysia and have yet to set foot here in our land, please do us a favor.

Stop assuming anything about how things are over here in Malaysia and do not make up your minds just based upon one or two biased Malaysians blog postings or hearsay.

If you want to know whether we are intolerant of other faiths, then just wait for my post that will contain photos and proof of all the various establishments of faiths being allowed to operate and flourish here in this Malaysian paradise!

I am not much of a trumpet blower but I am proud to know that there do exist good natured Malaysians from all walks of life and am glad to have so many friends from all the faiths and ethnicities here in Malaysia.

Lina Joy is just one isolated case of an individual who went about her affairs in the wrong manner and screwed herself in the judicial process.

We all know that there are many cases of similar apostates who have emigrated and settled down abroad with no fanfare in the media and press.

Let's not pretend that such cases do not exist. Malaysia is unique in the sense that the government has to assure it's Muslim population that their affairs won't be left to the whims and fancies of the civil courts and that they will be judged according to the Syariah Courts.

The affairs of the Muslims must be justly managed by the Syariah system and the matter of the IC is just an official process.

If the authorities really want to impose the Hudud Laws on Azalina Jailani (which they won't -for they do not really follow the Hudud laws to the letter) , then her case would be a matter of life or death.

The reality is that however , over here in Malaysia, the Syariah Laws are just limited to fines and imprisonment unlike what the real deal calls for.

So, please do not make a mountain out of a molehill and go accusing us Malaysians to be 'intolerant' of Christians and others.

If you do come to visit us here in Malaysia, take a drive around Petaling Jaya and count the number of churches you can see.

Don't forget to stop by at Batu Caves and see the largest statue of the Hindu deity 'Lord Muruga' which towers above all the surrounding areas. Intolerance in Muslim Malaysia? Yeah...right!

Go take a tour of the Kek Lok Si Temple in Ayer Itam , Penang and see if we are really intolerant of all the pagodas and temples plus another humongous statue of the 'Goddess of Mercy -Kuan Yin' Taoist Chinese complex straddling the foothills of this 'intolerant' nation.

I mean, you guys who just know how to nitpick and zoom in onto our affairs are real hypocrites!

You just do not know how to appreciate the fairness and justice we have here in Malaysia.

We may not be perfect but ..hello!!!!...when it comes to religious harmony and tolerance, we are so much better than many other countries of the world, including those of you in the USA, UK, and the entire European countries!

Malaysia is just being misreported by the likes of the BBC and its counterparts because that's what you guys do best! Screw the truth and fair comment!

As for those of you here in Malaysia who love saying that this nation is all nuts, go take off to where you feel will lay down the red carpet for you and embrace you with so much love, it's gonna ooze all over you!

By all means, go to where life will be so much better for you! Really!

We'll beat the kompangs, garland you with all the flowers you want and send you off with much fanfare!

'Bisa di atur!' @ 'Can be arranged' :)

All the best to you and have a nice day! MALAYSIA BOLEH!!!!

PAS Muslimah's Dakwah Walkabout in Sin City!

Subhanallah! If I didn't see this videoclip courtesy of WTV8, I would not have believed it!

Tudung labuh clad PAS Muslimah Head and her team going to Lorong Haji Taib @ the heart of KL's notorious red light area and hand out gift packs to the unfortunate ones having to live a life of sin for a living!

PAS has all these while been ostracized by the mass media and made out to be die hard ultra conservatives ready to chop off hands, skewer those who are rotting away in sin and impose the Hudud Laws of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala on all those who are fornicators, drunks, drug addicts, prostitutes, transvestites and practically the scum of the earth!

Well, open up your eyes wide and see for yourselves what PAS is capable of?

The video clip here demonstrates the willingness of the PAS leadership to go tackle the social and moral quagmire that has existed in the red light areas of KL over the years.

I salute the PAS team for being so openhearted and practice the main tenets of Dakwah al Hasanah which is to go out into the midst of society as it is and try to correct the wrong that is being done and to help save those poor souls who got caught in the vice trade from further rotting away into despondency and a nightmarish future!

Sometimes, it's better to just go and do things instead of spewing rhetoric on the stages and seen to pass out condoms or drug placebos to those suffering souls. Such actions are just short term measures that will not save them from ruin but only leave them to be infected with HIV and AIDS in the long run.

Save them now before it's too late. Bring them out from the flesh trade and give them better alternatives to seek a honest living. If there's a will, Insya Allah, there will always be a way.

Save those people from themselves and try to eradicate the vice trade that has marred that area for so long.

May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala give the PAS leadership and its members the strength, courage, wisdom and tenacity to clean up 'sin city' over time and eventually guide all those caught in the webs of misery as a result of apathy of the local authorities and government over the years to a better future. Ameen.

PAS needs to expand its activities and operations to help clean up society from the menace of social rot that has infested the inner city areas of KL and this first act of direct approach to help ease the sufferings of those poor folks and pawns of the red light areas must be applauded and supported.

PAS needs to get out of the hardline approach to Malaysians and be as Islam truly asks us to be. Humane and moderate but firm in our aspirations to see Islam be where it should be.

Islam is the Way of Life that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala has bequeathed Mankind and PAS today has a very good chance to put it to practice.

An Islamic Center at the new PAS HQ would be a great way to get things moving and be a beacon for the unfortunates to come learn about their rights to live a better, safer, more honorable lifestyle. I will assist them in any way that I can to set this up. Insya Allah.

I wish them all the best and pray that the move of the PAS HQ from Taman Melewar, Gombak, Selangor to the heart of KL inner city at Jalan Raja Laut, will be the start of a glorious future for PAS and all the city folk around it and from there, expand its operations to cleanse KL of the social rot that currently permeates and infests those areas.

Go for it PAS! Make us proud! Walk the talk and prove yourselves that you can be the people's choice later in the future. Malaysia needs to spring clean itself from all the social evils plaguing it.

This approach by the PAS Muslimats is a step in the right direction. PAS oldtimers must give their support and encouragement to the younger leaders to go about achieving such successes and work in consort to rid the party from deadwoods , recharge and rejuvenate the party.

May Allah guide us all. Ameen ya Rabbal Alameen.
