Part of the Do'a Iftitah

"Verily my solats, my ibadah, my life and my death I surrender to Almighty Allah, Creator and Lord of all the worlds. Never will I associate anything with Him. So am I commanded and I am of those who are Muslims."

Surah An Nahl (Chapter 16 Verse 125) Holy Al Quran Al Kareem.

" Invite (all Mankind) to the Way of your Lord (Islam) with Wisdom and Beautiful Preaching and Reason (discuss, argue, debate) with them ( Non Muslims and Muslims -deviant, innovators, liberals, alike) in a Way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the Best Knower of those who are guided."

Malaysia Today and Malaysiakini - Beacons of Information.

The emergence of Malaysiakini and Malaysia-Today as alternative sources of information to Malaysians who want to learn about the real deal regarding the events taking place here in Malaysia is something that truthseekers really appreciate and are thankful for.

We didn't have much choice before the emergence of both alternative media except to rely on what the mainstream cuckolded print and broadcast media fed to us.

The mainstream media rarely published news and reports that exposed all the shenanigans that goes on in government and hide such proof of abuses and wrongdoings that take place in the various ministries.

Malaysiakini and Malaysia Today have exposed so many evidences of official crimes such as corruption cases, abuses of political power, criminal breaches of trust by elected officials, cover ups of serious crimes, cronyism, nepotism, and many other injustices that would have never seen the light of day in the 'mainstream media'.

Cases such as this would usually be swept under the carpet so to speak and never become available to the public's knowledge.

Both Malaysiakini and Malaysia Today give Malaysians a platform to voice out their opinions freely but sometimes idiots and haters amongst us abuse the privileges given and spew out racist and religiously laced venom against others especially against the Malays and Muslims in both sites.

It is for these reasons that both alternative media come to be known as anti-Islam and anti-Malay for the crimes of their anonymous commenter's.

Yet, if we are to be fair, we should acknowledge the good that both alternative media present to us in terms of coming to know about the truth behind many crimes left unmentioned by the mainstream media.

If only the owners of both Malaysiakini and Malaysia Today could keep out the malicious comments touching on the sensitive issues of race and religion and let through only reasonable and rational viewpoints, both alternative media would be accepted as shining beacons of truthful information that we can all trust.

The mainstream media kowtowing to the ruling coalition that has been ruling this nation with an iron fist since Independence, has sadly been reduced to being nothing but propaganda mouthpieces who paint rosy pictures and sing praises of the powers that be, conveniently ignoring or refusing to see the obvious abuses taking place right before their very eyes.

I applaud both Steven Gan and his dedicated team at Malaysiakini and Raja Petra Kamarudin running Malaysia Today for being steadfast in their crusade for sharing the truth here in Malaysia with their readers.

If there are any Malaysians who deserve to be heralded as the heroes of this nation in terms of fighting for justice and freedom of the media, these two gentlemen will be clear winners.

They just need to make sure that venomous anonymous hate spewers are kept out from desecrating their noble causes.

If they can both see to it that such hatred comments don't make it to their comments sections, then both Malaysiakini and Malaysia Today will forever be heralded as the two main alternative media platforms that freed us all from being victims of an unjust mainstream media.

Knowledge is power and the people of Malaysia and the whole wide world deserve to be kept informed rightfully of the truth and nothing but the actual truth!

We do not need to be fed propaganda because the internet has emerged to be a source of information that breaks free from government control or manipulations that was enjoyed by tyrants and despots of the past.

Today, there is an available option. An option to show to all visual proof in vivid living colors and audio exposing all the crimes of the power brokers, abusers and corrupt devils masquerading as the people's saviors and exemplary leaders of the nation. A case in concern is this expose:

I pray that truth reaches the hearts and minds of all Malaysians so that they will be able to decide the future of this country by electing only the ones who deserve to be ruling over us all. Ameen.

To both Steven Gan and Raja Petra, I wish you both the best and hope you will be successful in your noble aspirations to open up the eyes and minds of all true Malaysians.

Cat Stevens to Yusuf Islam - Listen to him tell his amazing story.

There's just so much to learn from Cat Stevens life that pretty much is an amazing spiritual journey of one who had reached the pinnacle of success in the British music industry yet had taken out so much from him internally.

His internal sufferings drove him to seek relief in the main scourge of mankind -alcohol and other substances.

A near drowning off Malibu, California and subsequent miracle of getting saved by a miraculous wave that pushed him back ashore after he prayed to God asking to be saved and given a second chance in life, changed his destiny from that moment on.

Listen to him tell his story. Subhanallah.

Here are some of his songs after becoming a Muslim...and what a great Muslim he has become!

Azan - Nikmatilah halwa telinga alami.

Betapa syahdunya jiwa mukmin melihat video ini. Hayatilah maksudnya.

Myopia of our Malaysian Government Ministers

If you are to believe that everything is fine and hunky dory with our Malaysian Government as what Nazri Aziz , the Minister in charge of Law and Parliament keeps telling us, then the rising crime in our nation must be a mirage!

The Malaysian Bar Council marching in Putrajaya last Wednesday demanding a clean up of our Malaysian Judiciary must have been a figment of our imagination.

Nurin Jazlin Jazimin's brutal and cruel sadistic murder must have been our daydream, etc.

Nazri Aziz needs to be more gentlemanly in his role as this nation's Law Minister. He is not to delude himself that everything is perfect and the sun is shining brightly all the time.

His recent statements and outbursts reflects badly on the state of government Abdullah Badawi is running.

We are not living in the Stone Age where knowledge can be manipulated as they please. This is the Age of Information where almost everyone save for the ostriches in our Malaysian Cabinet choose to bury their befuddled heads into the sand and stick out their butts to reflect the classic 'See No Evil ; Speak No Evil and Hear No Evil' mindset.

No sirree.

If our current Malaysian Government expects the people to respect them, then please treat us with respect in the first place.

The Rights and Freedom of the people of Malaysia are trampled upon and idle threats are issued forth by those who were trusted by the citizen voters of this country to do a good job.

The way some of our government cabinet ministers expose their lack of leadership skills and integrity only goes to show that they should not have been voted into position in the first place.

A country bumpkin has much more better commonsense and good values than to go insult the people's intelligence with all kinds of namecalling such as a few of the dimwits in the cabinet have done!

Malaysians ought to wake up to the realities before us and check the achievements or abuse of power and position that these fellas have done.

I know that its hard for many to imagine any other party to run the show but Malaysians ought to know that they can have a better government if they are willing to go change it themselves.

If in the next GE, these same dimwits are re-elected by the voters to continue insult our intelligence for another bloody 5 year term, I say to all such foolish Malaysians -You deserve to be screwed by them till eternity!

Disasters after disasters are now taking place here in our nation as a result of mismanagement of this country and its environment by the current BN government.

All they are good at is giving 'cock and bull excuses' to warrant the rape of the environment.

50 years of uncontrolled illegal pig farming in Melaka has resulted in the ecological destruction of many parts of that historic state.

What has any Malaccan State Official done to stop the rot and the stench so to speak?

They amass wealth beyond their means. They live in opulence whilst the poor people of Melaka live in stinking shitty environments.

The truth of the matter is that the BN Government has been having it their way and they have grown so egoistic that they can be so bold as to insult us as they please knowing that there still exist idiots amongst the voting public who will without fail keep voting them into power to continue their dictatorship over this land that once was called Malaya - the Golden Chersonese.

Today, all the gold has ended up in the BN politicians coffers and overseas Swiss Bank accounts.

Why do you think that they are so vicious and heartless when any by-election takes place and why they will spare nothing to ensure that they get to keep their grubby fingers and clamp down onto the State and Federal Seats of Political Representation?

Not because they care and give a shit about you and me!

It's all about them. About power, position, wealth and ability to do as they please.

You say you do not know about any of their wrongdoings?

Man, you too must be myopic and living in a fantasy. Bolehland.

Slap yourself awake and read all about it online.

You don't have to run riot on the streets. You don't have to do anything just yet.

You can do your thing by registering as a voter and exercise that right of yours to have a better government who will do as they say and not fool you as they please all these years.

Get wise and do just that. When the GE comes, remember that the fate of this nation is in our hands. Vote right.

That depends whether the bloody Opposition can get their lineup ready to rumble in time failing which we are stuck with the ones bullshitting to us since day one. Damn!

There goes my nation. To the dogs and swine. Stinks to hell.

Nurin Jazlin's Murder-Police Arrest 5 suspects in Shah Alam

Breaking news!

Police Arrest Five To Assist In Nurin Murder Probe

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 28 (Bernama) -- Police arrested five people, including a woman, in separate raids in Shah Alam last night to assist their probe into the murder of Nurin Jazlin Jazimin, 8.

They are between 27 and 33 years old.

Police also seized two cars and five mobile phones, Bukit Aman CID director Datuk Christopher Wan Soo Kee said in a statement today.

He said the arrests were made following a public tip-off.

Meanwhile, from information obtained by Bernama, the arrests were the first made since "Ops Sunti" was launched to hunt for the murderer of Nurin since her body was found stuffed in a sports bag in the PJS area, Petaling Jaya on September 17.

The first arrest was made of a couple, both 33, in Persiaran Bistari, Section 7, Shah Alam. They are from Bukit Kuda, Klang.

Following that, a 28-year-old man from Wakaf Baharu in Tumpat, Kelantan was arrested at a shophouse in Jalan Kristal, Section 7, Shah Alam.

It is learnt that the suspect tried to resist arrest and police seized a handphone and a Proton Iswara car from him.

Reporters waiting at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital this morning, saw the five detained being brought to the hospital in two police cars at 9.20am, believed to be for DNA tests.

The four men wore pink T-shirts printed with the words "Lokap Kuala Lumpur" while the woman, who appeared to be pregnant, was in black baju kurung and white scarf, and was handcuffed.

They were later seen coming out of the HKL Forensic Department before being taken away by police, believed to the Petaling Jaya Magistrate's Court to obtain a remand order on them.

Meanwhile, a visit to Nurin's home in Section 1, Wangsa Maju saw the front door locked from outside indicating that no one was in.

Nurin, 8, a Year Two pupil of Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Desa Setapak was reported missing on Aug 20 when she went alone to a nearby night market.

The "Ops Sunti" special team comprises police personnel from Bukit Aman, and Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Sentul district and Petaling Jaya district police contingent headquarters, led by the federal CID director.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I say well done to the Malaysian Police for arresting the suspects.
If they are the ones responsible for the abduction, sexual abuse, torture, molestation and murder of Nurin, I want to see what kind of punishments that this nation is going to impose on them?
Overwhelming number of Malaysians want to see them put to death for the way they have tortured the 8 year old girl to such a horrible death.
Justice won't be served till we see them hang or as we wish to be impaled to death as Nurin died with those phallic vegetables stuffed so mercilessly into her, causing her death!
Let's impose the Hudud on the murderers!
At least public stoning as per what the law of God Almighty subscribes!
American Soldier testifies about murdering unarmed Iraqis.
BAGHDAD (AP) - A third U.S. soldier has been charged in an investigation into alleged attempts to cover up the deaths of Iraqi civilians by planting weapons to portray them as combatants, the U.S. military said Monday.
Sgt. Evan Vela, of Phoenix, Idaho, was charged Sunday with one count of premeditated murder, making a false official statement and obstruction of justice, the military said in a statement. He was placed in pretrial confinement.
Two other soldiers - Staff Sgt. Michael A. Hensley, of Candler, N.C., and Spc. Jorge G. Sandoval, Jr., of Laredo, Texas - were charged last week for allegedly killing three Iraqis and placing weapons on their bodies to make them appear as fighters. Vela is charged in one of the alleged slayings, but the military statement did not specify which incident.
Military prosecutors say the killings occurred between April and June near Iskandariyah, a mostly Sunni Arab city south of Baghdad.
All three soldiers are assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 501st Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, based at Fort Richardson, Alaska.
In the court-martial, Sgt. Evan Vela, 23, spoke barely above a whisper as he recounted shooting the man on May 11 near Iskandariyah, a mostly Sunni city 30 miles south of Baghdad.
Vela said Staff Sgt. Michael Hensley of Candler, N.C., told him to shoot the man, who had stumbled upon their snipers' hideout, although he was not armed and had his hands in the air when he approached the soldiers.
"He (Hensley) asked me if I was ready. I had the pistol out. I heard the word shoot. I don't remember pulling the trigger. It took me a second to realize that the shot came from the pistol in my hand," he said, crying.
Vela said that as the Iraqi man was convulsing on the ground, "Hensley kind of laughed about it and hit the guy on the throat and said shoot again."
"After he (the Iraqi man) was shot, Hensley pulled an AK-47 out of his rucksack and said, 'this is what we are going to say happened," Vela said, before he was dismissed from the witness stand to compose himself.
Vela told the story during the second day of the court-martial of Spc. Jorge G. Sandoval, of Laredo, Texas. Sandoval is on trial for allegedly killing Iraqis and trying to cover up the deaths by planting weapons at the scene.
End of excerpt.
For all the lame excuses and false allegations that the main director and executer of the American invasion, occupation, destruction and decimation of the Iraqi people whom he claims to have 'liberated' from Saddam's regime, US President George Walker Bush Jr. has clearly outdone whatever atrocities that the deposed and now dead Iraqi President Saddam Hussein ever did!
America invaded and occupies Iraq today under false allegations and false proof of Iraq having Weapons of Mass Destructions which have been proven not to be ever being there in that ancient land of the anbiyas and awliyas.
Today, the whole impotent world watches in silence as America under George Bush Jr. ravages Iraq and its people as it pleases and has successfully murdered over half a million Iraqi citizens and reduced hundreds of thousands of Iraqis into cripples and orphaned millions of Iraqi children.
Mosques have been bombed to bits. Important historical ancient buildings have been blasted to nothingness.
Precious antiquities have been robbed and stolen by the American forces from the destroyed palaces of Saddam and also from the many Iraqi museums.
Now, we hear that the American Senate has approved US President Bush Jr's request to classify the Iranian Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist force! How convenient.
Now, the American Colonialists can go bomb another ancient civilization to nothingness. They can go murder millions of innocent Iranians, rape and devastate the millions of Iranian women and children. Kill innocent Iranians and accuse them of being 'enemy combatants' and plant weapons on their dead bodies as 'proof' of 'hostile intentions'.
When we have evidences of American crimes being exposed like this , I wonder why the United Nations or as I prefer to address as 'Useless Nincompoops' for their cowardice in not being willing to stand up to American hypocrisy still shamelessly call themselves as guardians and protectors of the world?
All these happening right before the eyes of the whole wide world!
Do you even dare to dream that the spineless hypocrites we have running the OIC will have the balls to defend their fellow Muslims?
'Wait for the cat to grow horns'!
This is another Malay saying that clearly tells that it is virtually an impossibility to ever expect anything of the sort to ever take place under the current leadership of the OIC jokers, headed by who else but our nation's Imam Hadhari, the world's latest false prophet.
Humbug!
'Walk for Justice'-Malaysian Bar Protest March -Pt.5
Somehow, the sight of the fully armed FRU failed to stir any feelings of fear or apprehension in this 49 year old self, as I am one who firmly believes in the Will of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and constantly remind myself of the temporariness of this earthly life.
In fact, I am known to go right into the fray and do what comes naturally to me, engage and embrace friends or lock horns with my foes if I needed to.
I always choose the first option failing which, what the heck? Go with the flow! Hehehehe....
Maybe, at the threshold of becoming a senior citizen, fear is not an option for me and I do like the notion of speaking my mind as I see fit due to my having survived life this far.
I do not see the FRU as my enemies for they are just government civil servants employed to do what they signed up for?
I was there as a concerned citizen of this nation and in my capacity as a citizen blogger who cares for my nation.
I chose to walk with the Malaysian Bar Council lawyers in their protest march because I believe that they are right in their demands for a clean up of our scandal riddled judiciary.
I am not anti-establishment. I am just fighting for a good clean, responsible, accountable government.
I am a bloody optimist. I prefer to look at the plus points of anyone or anything but if I see none, I just tell it straight up.
No hero worshiping of anyone but Allah the Almighty. I hope to see a better Malaysia. Period.
See his scowl? That's what he is paid to do. To intimidate and fire that M16 if he needs to, first into the air to disperse the crowd and shoot to kill if he needs to or has received orders to do so.
I figured that since the FRU shot those two PAS supporters in Batu Burok, Kuala Terengganu recently, they have no longer any qualms in shooting down protesters if they have to.
Only thing was that yesterday, before them were not ordinary kampong folks from PAS but the nation's top most legal professionals.
The Malaysian Bar Council leadership no less and the attendance of thousands of Malaysia's finest amongst the legal eagles and with politicians and bloggers amongst the protesters would surely destroy this nation's reputation before the whole wide world should things get ugly as a result of any trouble breaking out.
Met Nathaniel Tan there at the march. The man has to really add some meat to his frame. I hope that Nat beefs it up for his health's sake. I am sure Li Tsin wouldn't object to my wish. :)
MENJ took the opportunity to pose with Nat as well.
Back to the protest. The agent provocateurs who would usually spark off incidents to start forcing the protesters and the FRU to engage in battle were obviously not keen to tangle with the lawyers.
As a result, when the FRU and their top brass decided to give way and let the protesters march right up front to the roundabout and remain there in a loud but still orderly manner, things came to a reasonable status quo.
The protesting lawyers vented out their frustrations and shouted out their demands for the authorities to really do something about the judicial abuse and scandals going on in the nation's legal system.
The FRU didn't have to do anything but hold their positions as they are expected to do. The stand off was also cooled off by nature when it rained heavily, soaking and drenching both the protesters and the security forces, easing away any discomfort both parties were experiencing.
We were all soaked but that didn't stop us from giving our full support to the Malaysian Bar members who broke tradition and came out in full force to show the government that they were not happy with the scandals taking place in the nation's top judiciary.
I am sure that now, Malaysians will no longer view the law practitioners of this nation as unreliable and only interested in fleecing anyone unfortunate enough to be embroiled in legal disputes or caught in the legal quicksands of the judicial process of this nation.
I am not saying that you can just trust anybody out there practicing law but at least those who turned up for the march showed that if needed to, the law professionals will rise to the occasion and defend the integrity of the rule of law in this country regardless of the position and office of the offenders!
Afraid that the computer will act up again and make me lose this post. More after this. So adios.
Walk for Justice by Malaysian Bar Council Pt.4
We were nearing the JPM's Complex after facing occasional hiccups in the form of the PDRM's top brass who tried to stop the lawyers from marching on but being lawyers who know their legal rights and what they can and cannot do, simply brushed aside the stumbling blocks and pushed forward.
Such steadfastness of purpose on the part of our Malaysian Bar Council members made me feel proud to walk with them.
I used to think that the Malaysian Bar Council were just capable of arguing their cases in court but to see them, coming together for the sake of our nation's judicial integrity and ready to march in the hot blazing midday sun fully suited up as they usually are in the legal arenas of our justice system, just made me feel so charged up to get to march with our black & whites!
Rocky Bru had asked for us bloggers who are supporters of the march to come in the same colors as our legal eagles but I felt that it would not be right to have someone mistake me for a lawyer as well which I am unfortunately not!
I would love to be a true bona fide lawyer and fight for justice for all Malaysians, regardless of creed or color.
I chose instead to come as myself. Zainol Abideen @ MAHAGURU58, a Muslim Malaysian Blogger and President of the Muslim Bloggers Alliance Protem Committee.
The protesting lawyers were all fired up and now and then we heard slogans being shouted through the loud hailers and the marchers promptly responded with their loud voices asking for justice to be done!
Putrajaya was reverbrating with our voices and we marched on determined to reach our goal- the PM's Office Complex.
Every now and then, the loud unamplified booming voice of Keadilan's Gobalakrishnan would be heard shouting non stop his battlecry, driving the lawyers on and responding to his call.
Finally, we arrived at the roundabout of Dataran Putrajaya, right before the assembled and ready to kick ass, FRU stormtroopers who were armed to the teeth and brandishing M16 submachineguns to face us, the protesters joined with the nation's lawyers spearheaded by the Malaysian Bar Council.
It was quite a sight to see the FRU barricading the entrance to this nation's administrative base in the form of the Prime Minister's Office Complex, a most imposing, magnificent sprawling expanse of the very government institution that calls the shot, here in Malaysia.
This shot showing myself and MENJ, taking pictures of this unique situation in the annals of this nation's history is courtesy of fellow blogger Tony Yew's collection. That's us kneeling in the foreground, trying to get the FRU and the PMO's Complex into focus.
Continued after this.
Walk for Justice by Malaysian Bar Council Pt.3
This photo was taken by Malaysia-Today's Editor in Chief, Raja Petra Kamaruddin, capturing myself walking along with Brother Arutchelvam from JERIT and a Dewan Muslimah PAS sister behind a banner that speaks clearly of our wish!
There were a lot of reporters and photographers covering the event and at times, we had to stop to let them get out of the way as we marched ahead with our stretched out banners.
Obstructions by the boulevard barriers and construction signboards were avoided every now and then as we moved on.
As you can see, we were marching under the hot blazing midday sun, fully heating us up, no matter that we who are Muslims were fasting and bravely striding forward for a cause!
A very important fundamental cause in fact. The cause of none other but to see to it that true integrity and neutrality return to our Malaysian judiciary!
Nothing is more important to a nation than to have a justice system that is above board.
No nation on earth can afford to close one eye on judiciary fix ups, cronyism, nepotism, and whatever bloody 'ism' that does harm to the citizens of its country when it involves matters as crucial as life or death decisions of the judges upon any individual or individuals who have to face legal action in any court of law! Same goes for the many corruption cases gone unpunished which can destroy the very institutions of this nation.
The recent travesties of justice here in Malaysia that saw many high profile cases get discharged or thrown out of court although the entire nation knows of their crimes committed and recorded complete with proof, really led to the decision by the very legal professionals themselves to take matters into their hands and march in Putrajaya demanding that the PM's Office do something to stop the rot!
As usual, Bolehland's Premier is not at home , jetsetting across the globe with his darling, oblivious to all the judicial crisis taking place here while he goes about his affairs overseas.
Never before has the nation seen its legal profession come out so strongly to demand that the Malaysian Government stop the slide in judicial integrity and take corrective actions to sack those found guilty of abusing their positions in the nation's highest legal authorities!
Today, the 26th of September, 2007 and the 14th fasting day in the holy month of Ramadan, 1428 After Hijrah, saw the 3rd protest march by our legal practitioners of Malaysia, having no other option but to demonstrate the fundamental basic rights of every citizen to take part in peaceful rallies to uphold justice.
More after this.
'Walk for Justice' by Malaysian Bar Council Pt.2
When MENJ and I reached the Palace of Justice after walking so far from where we had parked in the hot blazing sun, the lawyers, social activists and members of the public were already swirling out from the compound of the Palace of Justice ready to march on to the JPM's Complex.
You don't always get to see our lawyers taking to the street to protest against the wrongdoings proliferating in our nation's judiciary!
This is a sure sign that all's not well within our justice system as lawyers especially when the Malaysian Bar Council itself have organized and carried out this peaceful march to hand over a protest memorandum asking for a Royal Commission to be set up to fully investigate the recent scandals in the judiciary to the PM's Office!
Malaysia's first blogger to be arrested and held in detention for 'breaching' the OSA, Nathaniel Tan is seen here shaking hands with a fellow marcher.
The spirit of the march was simply electrifying as Malaysians from all walks of life joined the Malaysian Bar Council lawyers headed by its President, Ambiga Sreenevason and other top senior advocates and solicitors, marching together demanding that justice and integrity be returned to the Malaysian judiciary.
Friends and foes walked together in the march, united under a common cause, solely because we all care for our nation.
To be continued.
Malaysian Bar Council's 'Walk for Justice', Putrajaya
PDRM roadblocks caused many of us who were driving to the 'Walk for Justice' Protest March by the Malaysian Bar Council to make a detour every time we came to a road leading towards the Palace of Justice in Putrajaya this morning.
I went there with MENJ who snapped thes photos as I was driving. After the 3rd roadblock, I managed to get through after pointing out to the policeman that I was heading to the Masjid Putra.
I understand that the policemen manning the roadblocks were only doing their duty but to have their superiors order such measures against lawyers gathering to march and handover a memorandum was to me just a tad paranoid.
We are talking about lawyers here not social misfits like the Mat Rempits!
I'm bushed now so am just going to share pictures that MENJ took with me.
I had written in detail just now but the computer crashed and the current Blogger system somehow fails to auto -save hence I had to do it all over again. This is why I am sort of tired and am writing sparsely.
Anyway, I'll let the Malaysiakini video and our pictures speak for themselves.
Good night Malaysia!
De'mockery'cy of Basic Rights of Citizens in Malaysia
When Malaya achieved Independence from Britain back in 1957, the drafters of our Federal Constitution wrote in several basic freedoms and rights that are universally recognized and acknowledged to be the basic tenets of a democracy.
We saw this freedom to speak and express the citizen's individual opinions in the early days of the nation coming into being during the first and second General Elections.
A clear example is shown here. Watch the video showing how Malayans were allowed to gather peacefully at rallies to hear the various political parties present their views to the people without any hindrances or restrictions.
Such a situation exists no more in present day Malaysia.
Malaysians are threatened and beaten up by the riot squad just for wanting to exercise their basic Constitutional Rights.
Know what rights I am talking about?
Well, here they are :
ARTICLE 10
(1) Subject to Clauses (2), (3) and (4) -
(a) every citizen has the right to freedom of speech and expression;
(b) all citizens have the right to assemble peaceably and without arms;
(c) all citizens have the right to form associations
Right to Freedom of Speech and Expression
Compared to what is guaranteed in black & white as in the above article, Malaysians today aren’t being given the right to freedom of speech and expression.
The citizens of this nation are not free to speak their minds.
We are in fact reduced to voicing our opinions online which is the last frontier of free expression.
By free expression, I mean reasonable basic rights to speak our own minds without transgressing against the basic rights of others or breaching national security, etc.
Let’s take the subject of the right to political freedom.
The Opposition are not allowed to exercise the basic rights guaranteed to them as citizens of this country by banning them from airing their views on national television or radio or even allowed to have their own broadcasting stations.
What kind of a ‘de’mockery’cy’ is this when a government that trumpets to all other nations in being fair and just do not actually put to practice in this very nation, a fundamental right to its own citizens including the Opposition in being allowed to speak and express their views freely within the limits of true democracy?
The overwhelming monopoly by the BN Government of the broadcasting mainstream media is clearly going against the very basic agreement of our nation’s founding fathers to practice true democracy as laid out in the Federal Constitution.
When was the last time that all political parties were truly allowed to speak to the nation without hindrances by all of the government’s agencies and intelligence units?
We can only recall such a moment in our nation’s history during the very first General Election and the subsequent one during the rule of Malaya’s First Prime Minister, YTM Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj.
Isn’t it ironic that for all our nation’s advancements, we are nowhere close to practicing the freedom to speak as even a nation as young as Timur Leste which doesn’t even have basic infrastructures to speak of and it’s Prime Minister and President walk around the neighborhood without a security detail?
Right to assemble peacefully without bearing arms.
Every time the citizens of this country especially members of the Opposition try to hold a public lecture or rally, the Royal Malaysian Police deny them the permit to assemble peacefully.
In fact, there have been many incidents where after issuing the Opposition a permit to hold a lecture or a talk, the police are known to cancel such permits at the last minute and send in the FRU to disperse the attendees with unnecessary force and violence.
The latest such unnecessary violence perpetrated upon the Opposition members is the Batu Buruk live shooting incident where two PAS members were shot at point blank by an undercover FRU special agent and were hospitalized in the ICU with gunshot wounds.
A first, as far as usage of live bullets against members of the public by the FRU and setting a dangerous precedent.
This doesn’t augur well for a nation that claims to be a model developing nation!
Development in terms of the build up of its physical infrastructures whilst at the same time demolishing all vestiges of the true pillars of democracy is really not something that we can be proud of?
Tomorrow, the Malaysian Bar Council is organizing a march to the Palace of Justice in Putrajaya, protesting against the shenanigans that have taken place in the Malaysian Judiciary recently.
I wonder if they are going to be allowed safe passage by the relevant authorities and security forces of the current regime?
Will our nation’s lawyers be safe from police brutality as what we have seen take place against any group that are opposing the current ruling government?
That’s for us to see and witness with our own eyes as whether there is a different set of rules for lawyers and a different bash them up decree from the BN higher ups against PAS members?
I just foresee a bleak future for the state of ‘de’mockery’cy that the BN makes out of all the declared rights enshrined in our nation’s Federal Constitution where they say one thing and do another especially deny the citizens of the very fundamental symbols of a democracy, worth its name.
Right to form associations
I will write about this point later. As for now, I am just focusing on what’s going to take place tomorrow at the lawyers march?
You guys going?
Married Convert to Islam's Custody Case Review
'Hubby cannot claim he no longer comes under purview of civil laws after conversion to Islam' by R. Surenthira Kumar.
PUTRAJAYA (Sept 24, 2007)
Excerpt of the Sun2Surf Online report on the case:
'A husband cannot claim he no longer comes under the purview of civil laws after his conversion to Islam', argued the lawyer representing R. Subashini in the Federal Court today.
Malik Imtiaz Sarwar told the panel of three judges that by making such a claim, a convert could leave the other party in a civil marriage in the doldrums by seeking recourse in another court to resolve the dispute between them.
He added that the argument that the syariah court had the power to legislate to dissolve marriages under the Law Reform (Marriage and Divorce) Act 1976 (LRA) was unreasonable because it extended the syariah court’s jurisdiction.
Malik Imtiaz said the implications from such an argument were unreasonable because it would:
  • appear that the syariah court could embrace non-Muslims,
  • allow for the converting spouse to ignore his or her obligations under the LRA at a time when the party concerned was a non-Muslim,
  • leave the non-Muslim spouse with no meaningful and just recourse, and further
  • run counter to the guarantee of equal protection under Article 8 of the Federal Constitution.
Malik Imtiaz said this Article guaranteed the wife, in this case, the right to procedural and substantive fairness.
He added that the power to legislate must be harmonised with this fundamental liberty, if not, the liberty would be rendered illusory.
Malik Imtiaz was submitting his reply in the legal tussle between Subashini, 29, a Hindu, and her Muslim convert husband, T. Saravanan, 31, over the dissolution of their civil marriage, conversion of their second child, and custody over their two sons.
Saravanan, now known as Muhamad Shafi Saravanan Abdullah, had earlier converted the couple’s eldest child without his wife’s consent.
On March 13, Subashini was told by the Court of Appeal in a majority decision with Justice Gopal Sri Ram dissenting, that she could not stop Saravanan from dissolving their marriage, seeking custody of their children and unilaterally converting their children to Islam.
She was also told that she could instead seek recourse through the Syariah Appeal Court.
In appealing the Court of Appeal’s decision yesterday, Malik Imtiaz said the syariah court’s jurisdiction was circumscribed by the requirement that it be over persons professing Islam, and hence the syariah court can only enforce laws when all parties before it profess the religion.
Malik Imitiaz also rebutted Saravanan’s argument that his wife’s divorce petition was premature as she had ignored the Islamic imposition of waiting for three menstrual cycles to lapse first.
Malik Imtiaz said Saravanan himself had filed for divorce in the syariah court a day after his official conversion, and before the three month cycle had lapsed.
He also said the statement that Islam was the "religion of the Federation" as stipulated in Article 3(1) of the Federal Constitution was only meant for rituals and ceremonies, and was never intended for Islamic law to operate beyond the expressed confines of the constitution, in particular against persons who do not profess Islam.
Malik Imtiaz said if the arguments of Saravanan’s lawyer were accepted, this would mean that the state was allowed to legislate Islamic law to be applied on non-Muslims.
This, he added, was totally contrary to the Federal Constitution’s careful scheme to protect the religious rights of all Malaysians, in particular non-Muslims.
Malik Imtiaz said Saravanan’s religious freedom was not being violated because the key consideration in the case were the antecedent rights that were contracted under the LRA when both husband and wife were non-Muslims.
Judges Datuk Nik Hashim Nik Abd Rahman, Datuk Abdul Aziz Mohamad and Datuk Azmel Maamor said they needed time to consider the submissions from both parties.
A decision would be delivered on a date to be fixed later.
Pretty sensitive issue , isn't it?
This could be a landmark case when a married Non Muslim converts to Islam either out of their own religious volition or as an escape out of a 'troubled marriage'?
It must be established as to the reasons behind the conversion of the non Muslim into Islam?
If a married person decides to convert to any another religion besides Islam, there won't be any significant repercussions or consequences to the marriage because most faiths or beliefs are flexible with matters concerning the deity that one worships or believes in?
It's not the same with Islam.
Islam is the worship of Allah the True God Almighty, Most Merciful Most High and submitting oneself to the Final Messenger's Teachings from the Final Testament of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala in the form of the Holy Al-Qur'an Al-Karim and His Sunnah @ Examples of how to fulfill one's obligations as a true Muslim.
When a non Muslim husband or wife embraces Islam out of their true realization of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala being their True God Almighty and Islam to be what it is, the authentic teachings from the Creator Himself, then all their past sins as a Kaffir are pardoned and deleted from their Book of Records.
All marital ties between the convert and his or her Non Muslim spouse are automatically severed and they are automatically divorced from their former partner.
Family ties still remain intact and a Muslim is commanded by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala to maintain relationships with his or her parents, children, siblings and family members.
The only severance is between the husband and wife or vice versa.
As a Muslim parent, the father or mother automatically has the right to bring over his or her child into Islam pending the legal procedures of any which country they live in.
Any child under the age of 18 is considered the ward of the parent and in such a case, the Muslim parent has the obligations to see to it that he or she take charge of the conversion to Islam provided that the child is willing to be a Muslim?
It is not easy to choose between one's mother or father?
Thus, it is important for the judiciary to take into consideration all relevant circumstances and background of the individuals who are fighting for the right to convert their child into Islam and depending whether the particular child is capable of rational thought, knowledge about the situation and his or her personal choice?
Religious conversion of any married person is sure to cause emotional stress and all other related problems especially concerning the subject of dispersion of material gains and properties accumulated through the space of time living as husband and wife and further complicated in cases where both parties worked and built up their life's together, struggling to be where they are after all the difficult starting of marriage years?
Islam has all the provisions of fair judgment and Allah the Almighty who creates us will never allow injustice to be meted out to anyone in His Name.
I pray that the judiciary will take all the significant matters involving the rights and welfare of both parties before coming to any decision.
I also hope that there won't be any party out there instigating social unrest and discord over this obviously sensitive and private matter between a former married couple but which is important because it involves the upholding of justice and fairness to Islam and its adherents as well as to the Kaffir in concern.
May the truth and justice prevail. Amin.
Hukum Sula @ Capital Punishment for Sex Offenders.
I believe that just like me, many folks all over the world and especially around Nusantara are still very angry and can't wait for Allahyarhamah Nurin Jazlin Jazimin's killer to be caught and brought to justice!
No court of law can compensate for the sick pervert's brutal murder of the little girl after sadistically torturing her to death and mutilating her in such a way that even an animal won't do what he or she did to Nurin!
The most appropriate capital punishment for such an animal is the ancient punishment called 'Hukum Sula'. To have an idea of what this punishment is , click here. Be warned.
It's not for the faint hearted. Watch only if you are up to it.
I obtained the link to this clip when I googled for it.
This is the general idea. As much as Nurin's killer had tortured her to death, this is the most appropriate retribution for such a heartless beast.
Mete out this punishment to the killer when he or she is caught and see whether any other sex offender dares to go disturb any other child or innocent woman?
I am running a poll on the type of punishment that befits the crime of Nurin's killer and the overwhelming votes are all for this punishment. Death by impaling. Hukum Sula.
I say let's teach sex offenders a lesson to stand as a lethal punishment for their beastly crimes.
Malaysian Lawyers Proposed March to Putrajaya
I hear that our legal eagles are planning to march to the Palace of Justice in Putrajaya this Wednesday, the 26th of September, starting at 11.00am.
Really? Well, that's interesting.
Malaysian lawyers have not been known to be as their Indian or Pakistani counterparts in taking to the streets especially when this nation is known to be brutally repressive of any shows of democratic expressions.
Are our lawyers prepared to face the FRU?
Our boys in the red helmets are absolutely ferocious when facing human beings but they get a severe case of the shrunken gonads when squealing swine are the adversaries such as the shameful back off at Paya Mengkuang, Melaka where the pigs triumphed over the authorities!
Does the Bar Council have a police permit for the march or are they prepared to dance with the devils especially since the FRU have crossed the line of fire by shooting live bullets into the public?
Err...maybe only when it is the bloody Opposition members especially guys from PAS!
Now, that's a very interesting target for the FRU for they can get away even with murder when shooting live bullets now at PAS members.
Uh huh. There will be no actions taken against any live firing of Opposition members as the BN government will gladly whitewash such 'incidents' as acceptable line of police action.
When Khairy Jamaludin and UMNO Youth members stormed the American Embassy 'protesting' US Secretary of State, Condoleeza Rice's visit the other day, the FRU didn't as much as disturb a hair of the Son In Law!
Now, what does that tell you?
Double standards?
Nah...there's no bloody standard at all. The BN can go do whatever the hell they want and I can guarantee you not a bloody whisker of any BN member will be touched by any FRU worth his name!
Can't say the same for our Opposition fellas. I wonder how the Malaysian Bar Council members are going to fare?
Those of you lawyers who are going to march there have our absolute support for trying to fight for a clean judiciary but aren't you guys sort of barking at the wrong tree so to speak?
What do you expect to achieve when even a clear proof like that VK Lingam's video is pooh poohed away by our squeaky clean BN government?
Any lawyer care to update me?
Chow Kit Fresh Market-Best Value for Money in KL.
Malaysia has a wonderful range of fresh market produce and equally outstanding characters at our wet markets to entice many photography enthusiasts to go capture unique snapshots.
I had a field day today after shopping for our needs at the Chow Kit Fresh Market.
I tried my hand at taking such shots and also did a bit of photo editing to see what I can get from the special effects?
This guy sells prepacked Cendol and other foodstuffs at the entrance to the Chow Kit Fresh market.
The various colorful packs of drinks make a good subject for photography.
This is such an interesting effect using my digital camera's photo editing software. Quite brilliant of the software writers to enable such interesting effects at the click of a button. Wow!
If you are keen to stretch that ringgits of yours in buying groceries and fresh produce, then head on over to the Chow Kit Fresh Market in the heart of KL Old Town.
Not only is the place full of character and a wonderful kaleidoscope of sight, sound, smell and color, it will definitely boost your spirits when you get to buy all the foodstuffs you need at a fraction of what it will cost you in the supermarkets!
Take the smiling vegetable seller for example. He sells long beans for just RM1.00 a bundle!
It's enough for cooking two meals for two. Lunch and dinner.
Try eating at a restaurant and order a small plate of the same. It will cost you at least RM4.00 to RM5.00 at the mamak shop or even much more if you go to a fancy restaurant!
It pays to spend a bit of time and effort to drive to Chow Kit and do your marketing there.
There's a lot of interesting sights to see, like this Chilli trader, who was sort of shy when he realized that I was going to take his photo. It's a pity that I have only a compact digital camera.
If I had an SLR camera, I'd have a field day in capturing all the unique sights there.
They sell fresh fish here compared to the hypermarkets. I have seen the freshest of fish sold at the Kuantan Wet Market because they catch quality fish over there and its from the sea to the market there. I reckon the fish sold at Chow Kit are from the Kuala Selangor areas. Its still better than what you find at the supermarkets.
I didn't buy beef from these fellas because its mostly prepacked imported beef from India. I opted for fresh slaughtered local beef from the butcher. Pricey though @ RM20 a kg.
Will be sharing with you more photos that I took there in my following posts.
Al-Arqam @ Rufaqa Corporation. Their Delusions and visions.
If we are to survive living in these turbulent times where all kinds of challenges test our patience and our will to carry on with our life's, we have to equip ourselves with knowledge and rationality in figuring out as to what's right, what's wrong and what's totally fictitious and meant to distract us from what's actually being planned to take us all for a ride to a state of imagined paradise?
Paradise for some might turn out to be a living hell for others.
It's all a matter of perception and delusion that at times can come across as the absolute truth for some when they are brainwashed day in, day out by cleverly worded emotional rousing speeches by those who themselves imagine their self’s to be the saviors of this world.
There are many cases around us where such delusional individuals have come up with grandiose plans and visions for themselves and in doing so, inadvertently drag hundreds of thousands if not millions of the clueless ones with them to the land of the lost causes.
Take the deviant Al-Arqam Sect for the matter. They started out with good intentions to lead the wayward amongst the Malaysian Muslims back to the true path of Allah the Almighty and the Sunnah of the Final Messenger, Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam.
Ustaz Haji Ashaari Muhammad was a religious teacher. His delusional claims to be the ‘Chosen One’ to lead the wayward Muslims of the Last Ages here in Malaysia to success can be traced back to info shared here.
It is natural for any weak clueless ones in any faith to rally around anyone who claims to know the future and displays signs of leadership and extraordinary 'prowess' especially in spiritual knowledge which the deviant will 'share secrets' with those who have no foundation in religious matters.
I don't have to reinvent the wheel here by rewriting what's already common knowledge as to the history of the now banned Al-Arqam sect as there are many sources for you to read up about them online.
One of them which exposes the sect to be nothing but a deviant movement is here. All relevant fatwa's banning the deviant sect is there. You can download the fatwa's from there.
The Al-Arqam (now Rufaqa ) movement attempts to take over the Malaysian Government by way of a popular uprising against the ruling BN coalition but have discovered again and again that such uprisings will never happen here in this 'tidak apathy' stricken nation!
Malaysians are just not passionate about anything.
This is probably due to the fact that the majority of the Malays are very docile accommodating beings who seldom get riled up to do anything against anyone because of their natural inclinations to live and let live.
So, Al-Arqam got itself banned when it got too big for its breeches so to speak in 1994.
Ashaari and his top followers were bundled off to a rehabilitation centre where they pretended to repent and make confessions that they admit being deviant and all that.
The reality is that deviant sects are just like the proverbial lallang @ roadside elephant grass. No matter if you burn them to the ground, they will prop up again and grow back with a vengeance!
Al-Arqam resurfaced as the repentant and purely business oriented organizational network labeling itself as the Rufaqa Corporation.
Even I got fooled into thinking that the deviants have truly repented but I did have my reservations about endorsing them in full, even then.
As I feared, the Al-Arqam folks have not repented in total, not just yet. They are too far gone to be able to reverse their deviant spiritual ego trip!
Different mode of attires and appearances but same old beliefs and wayward creed.
I guess that the Aurad Muhammadiah doctrine has been so deeply infused into their DNA that they will remain as diehard Ashaari followers even if the Abuya breathes his last one of these days?
I figure that you know who are the diehard Al-Arqam members just by looking at the photo here?
No more serbans but a unique banded songkok and normal Baju Melayu's to complete the total makeover.
These charming young followers of Ashaari weren't born yet when Al-Arqam reached its peak of influence back in the 80's but here they are all looking so pretty and colorful.
These are the members of the Mawaddah all female nasyid group of 'Rufaqa Corporation'.
Good natured young women but destined to be taken for a ride to be amongst the numbers of the polygamous Al-Arqam movement now rebranded as Rufaqa Corporation.
Guess you can't eliminate Al-Arqam in total, eh?
Well, the rest is history and we all know that only those who are either too obsessed with Ashaari's ideals will follow him blindly no matter where he takes them?
Do your comparative read up on them here, here, here and here.
Just be advised that you must take precautions against believing any of their teachings as they are so cleverly designed to draw the ignorants ones deep into their midst without the fools realizing that end result!
There is also another innovative concept introduced to the Islamic world by none other than our present Imam Hadhari.
These Last Ages are surely interesting to see so many 'false prophets' crop up exactly as Rasulullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam prophesied.
That is another topic to be written and exposed to be what it is, soon. Insya Allah.
PDRM! Hunt the killer! Stop threatening Arwah Nurin's Parents!!!
If there is one thing that we can expect from the Malaysian authorities, it is preposterous statements and idiotic conclusions about any one incident or tragedy like what Malaysia has seen.
I am referring to the Inspector General of Police, Tan Sri Musa Hassan's threat to take action against the murdered Nurin Jazlin Jazimin's parents for criminal negligence as reported here!
What utter stupidity or plain lack of compassion is this?
The family is already devastated in losing their beloved child but here comes our nation's topmost police officer threatening to add further to the family's misery!
Bravo Tan Sri! You are truly an inspiration to the sick, murdering @#$%^&*! out there who will now feel enamored to go about looking for fresh new victims to rape, sodomize, torture, mutilate and kill as they please!
Words fail me in trying to remain calm during my fast here reading such crap coming from you, of all people?!
If you have forgotten who the hell you are, let me just remind you.
You are the one whom we all place our trust in making sure that all the sick, demented beasts out there are hunted down, shot and killed if you will, in keeping this nation safe from such unthinkable harm!
Yes, we can't be going around carrying weapons for use in case ourselves and our families are in any danger, can we?
We, the common citizens aren't allowed to pack a pistol, revolver or whatever firearm or even a bloody keris for the matter to protect our families can we?
What do we have to protect ourselves with?
Only our faith in Allah and our trust in you and your Royal Malaysian Police force!
That's all we have.
Yet , here you are threatening those devastated parents of the late Allahyarhamah Nurin Jazlin Jazimin, 8 years old at time of death, with further trauma and heartaches of facing legal action?
Why don't you just throw the whole lot of them into prison?
That would really make their day, won't it?
Talk of the state of the police force here in this gone stir crazy nation?
Criminals get away with murder whilst the suffering parents of that innocent, mutilated child face imprisonment!
I just don't know what the heck we Malaysians are to do with the likes of you and the equally dumbfounded ones we have in government, infamous for their matching cock and bull statements and screwed up opinions?
Looks like we are doomed into either fending for ourselves and our loved ones and do whatever the hell we have to do or just do like what some nations are forced to do when faced with anarchy and lawlessness in their lands.
Set up vigilante forces and hunt those sick b@$#@*%! down ourselves?
I implore the Malaysian authorities to stop spewing such vile threats and go address the main problem of tracking down those young Malay couple in their 20s that you say are seen in the CCTV recording after their dumping of the duffel bag and said to be Nurin's killers and leaving in their Silver Perodua Kenari from the crime scene!
That is what the PDRM should do instead of adding salt to the bleeding hearts of the poor murdered victim's parents!
You guys have children too, don't you?
Imagine what you would do if it had been your child killed after being tortured, dishonored, humiliated and mutilated like that?
I know that you guys in the police force are expected to be tough guys and all that machoism stuff, but please have a heart and lay off making such stupid inhumane threats against Jazimin and Norazian!
No more! Leave them alone! Console them if you can but please stop adding to their miseries!
They are suffering enough! Damn it!
Al-Fatihah! Nurin Jazlin Jazimin-Lest we forget!
Al-Fatihah!
Malaysia mourns the death of an innocent child @ Allahyarhamah Nurin Jazlin binti Jazimin, 8, whose dead body was found stuffed naked in a duffel bag, disposed by her killer or killers in front of a shoplot in Petaling Jaya, a couple of days ago.
Nurin had been abducted a month ago from a night market near her home in Wangsa Maju on the 20th of August, 2007 and she had been abused, molested, raped and sodomized by a yet to be identified beast or beasts who are being hunted down by the Malaysian Police.
Nurin was found with two phallic vegetables @ a cucumber and a brinjal, stuffed in her genitals and anus. What kind of sick demented individual would do that to an 8 year old?
Words can't describe the rage I feel to this day when I try to even imagine the tremendous pain and suffering that the poor little girl must have been subjected to?
I don't care what all the bloody human rights advocates say but if I am in a position to face such an animal or animals who killed her, God knows what I would inflict to the beast or beasts in return!
This is the fruit of our general Malaysians apathy towards crime prevention and for failing to uphold the true Laws of Allah, Our Creator!
Whatever laws we have here in this country is a mockery of true justice as witnessed by the way our judiciary have violated our trusts in the man made system here in bloody Bolehland!
Too many life's have been lost due to the inefficient anti-crime measures carried out and the many cases involving travesties of justice in this country.
Too many vicious criminals are being set free, acquitted and discharged by corrupt judges and an equally if not worse corrupt useless BN government!
As usual, the authorities will only react when something as devastating as this murder of an innocent little child has taken place and the killer or killers are still at large!
I am angry!
Damn angry at the incompetence of my fellow Malaysians in failing to realize the rot that has taken place in this nation, in its corrupt government, rhetoric spewing leaders, deaf, dumb and blind useless ulamaks, can't be trusted security forces especially those who are apathetic to the needs to prevent such cases from happening and at times even be the very ones who abuse and misuse the power and position they have been given in trust by the citizens of this country!
From being the lovely little pretty lass we see here in her picture, we are shocked and dismayed to learn that this is her, a month later, changed into a pale, dead, lifeless corpse, humiliated and mutilated beyond description and disposed off in such a disgusting manner!
Look at her angelic, cherubic, sweet, innocent face!
If this was your daughter, would you still remain compassionate to her killer or killers?
Will you still sleep , contented in your soft, cushy, comfortable bed, knowing that your precious one, your innocent, once beautiful, happy, smiling , flesh and blood of yours is now dead and buried, tortured to such a death, incomprehensible for us, the average Malaysians, to even think of such a vicious, foul deed?
I know that I'd spare no quarter in seeing to it that the beast who did this are hunted down..beaten black and blue, chopped to pieces and fed to the hogs, alive!!!
The nation awaits as to what and how the Malaysian authorities are going to deal with the killer of Nurin when he or she is captured by the police?
I want to see just how they deal with such beasts?
Visit here to see her burial report and pictures of the funeral rites.
The photos above are courtesy of mSTAR Online.
May her soul rest in final peace in the Mercy of Allah Ta'ala.
Amin Ya Rahman Ya Rahim.
Travesties of the Malaysian Justice System.
Dear fellow Malaysians,
I am sure that most of us are getting pissed off with the way our Malaysian justice system is seen to be nothing but a hotbed of politically manipulated 'one for you; one for me' fix up arrangement by the ones we see calling the shots and playing 'God' over us all, as exposed by Malaysiakini.tv.
This is further compounded by the evidence shown in the video showing how Senior Lawyer Datuk VK Lingam is seen speaking with the Chief Justice referring to asking the CJ to talk to the Prime Minister (back then -2002) Dato Seri (now Tun) Mahathir Mohamad in deciding who gets a 'Tan Sri'ship, etc and which individuals are to be made judges and who to ignore or to be shelved?
During the time this recording was made in the year 2002, Anwar Ibrahim who 'released it recently' was being held in prison after being sacked by Mahathir and had himself 'sodomized' by the 'Malaysian Justice system' on trumped up charges which is clearly a conspiracy to remove him from his position back then as the nation's Deputy Prime Minister and make sure that he has no chance in hell to ever stage a political comeback!
These travesties of justice being carried out by the power that was and the power that is now, is a clear evidence of the abuse of authority by those whom we call 'Your Honor's' and 'Most Respected' @ 'Yang Amat Berhormat's!
Malaysians now need to wake up to the reality that when Mankind abuses our trust in the name of 'democracy', we have to see to it that God's Laws prevail over us.
God is neither unjust or corruptible! Allah the Almighty being our Creator sure knows us best and how those amongst us when given absolute authority succumb to their lower base selfs in allowing greed and frivolous wants and desires cloud their 'judgment'.
Do not forget that we live a temporary life here on Earth and that we will be held accountable for our deeds.
Those who think or thought that they could get away with even murder have and are finding out that justice of mankind isn't the same as the Will of God.
I do not want to sound apocalyptic but reality stares at us in our face.
Our justice system here in Malaysia has lost its honor and integrity. Politicians have abused our trust and abused the nation as a whole by their corruption and this sickness has infested the very judges whom we have all these while thought to be fair and outstanding citizens of this soil.
Sadly , this has been proven to be another myth that drives itself deep into our hearts and bleeds our soul.
Conscience is not in their vocabulary and the way things have unfolded themselves to be witnessed by all, is just a premonition of worse things to come if we do not take all these into consideration when we vote for our next government.
Its not that we are not aware that true justice has never been seen here on Earth but at least have the decency to not pollute the very halls and institutions that are supposed to be above all the filth and corruption that seeks to destroy the very vestiges of fair governance that we all strive for and expect the ones whom we voted into power to practice?
All these exposes might not have surfaced if not for the advantages of having modern technology in the form of all the wonderful gadgets of audio and visual recording inventions.
Today, we get to learn the true colors of our judges and advocates whom we have been duped into thinking that being learned intellectuals and practitioners of law, they would not betray the people by doing all these criminal acts .
Yet, as feared, there seems to be nothing of that sort present in our Malaysian judiciary.
Its just as dirty and as bad as the political theater of this nation is concerned where even the hallowed halls of Parliament are not safe from abuse and indecent language and attitudes that have destroyed any iota of moral responsibility and cultured civility that we so imagined to prevail at such august institutions of a decent and fair government!
I just don't have any sense of respect to all those judges and lawyers anymore. I leave it to you to decide how you want to go about it in choosing your next government based upon all these evidences of wrong doing being vomited out by the system.
This must be only the tip of the iceberg so to speak?
God knows what these fellows have done all these while in the halls of 'injustice' of this nation so far?
Wallahu 'alam bissawab!
Nurin Jazlin Jazimin's 'Death' - Doubts prevail over the dead body?
I refer to the reports coming in saying that the dead girl in the duffel bag is said to be Nurin Jazlin Jazimin, the pretty lass pictured here who has been kidnapped and missing for a month.
There are several contradictions worth probing and looked into :
  1. The dead body is said to be devoid of the BCG innoculation scars of every one born here in Malaysia.
  2. The dead girl is having curly hairs whilst the pictures of Nurin clearly shows her having long straight hair.
  3. The teeth of the dead girl is unlike those of Nurin.
Another main point that has been lingering in my mind is surely the forensics department of the Royal Malaysian Police can make a positive identification of the fingerprints of the dead girl and those of Nurin if she is really the dead girl?
How about the birthmark said to be found on the thigh of the dead girl whilst Nurin's parents say that their daughter doesn't have any?
Another report says that it is believed to be a foreigner's child.
All these contradicting reports add doubts to the saying that DNA tests of blood taken from the dead girl are coming out with a 99.9% match to those of Nurin's parents.
In my heart, I am praying that it is not Nurin but just like everyone else, there's nothing much we can do except to follow the reports as they are being published.
I don't know about you but if I have my way, I'd see to it that whoever is the culprit responsible for killing the girl stuffed in the bag, be put to death in the same manner by which the poor girl had been sodomized and raped with foreign objects such as the brinjal and the cucumber found by the forensics department stuffed into and left in her genitalia.
No matter that the killer or killers are male or female, the old Malay punishment of 'sula' comes to mind.
Let people say we are barbaric , outdated or what the bloody hell ever, a life has been taken in the most vilest manner ever known to us here.
It is not justice if we do not mete out the same if not worse upon the murderer or murderous demons!
Judge for yourselves! Malaysian Judiciary Kingmakers!
Sometimes it is best to just let the video uncover the story! No need to be beating about the bush with this one.
It comes complete with the transcript of the telephone conversation between Senior Lawyer Dato' VK Lingam and the Chief Justice Ahmad Fairuz Sheikh Abdul Halim .
Malaysiakini.tv has presented to the whole wide world the super duper judicial expose of all time especially concerning the way these judges and senior lawyers go about deciding who goes up and who goes down in this nation's justice system.
Malaysia! You truly amaze me at times. What else is gonna come up?
As the Malay saying goes, " Bangkai gajah tak boleh ditutup dengan nyiru!"
Things like these will surely get exposed as it has because with the advent of high technology in mobile cameraphones, etc...any one with the alertness of mind can and will record such wheelings and dealings and post it online.
I look forward to what is gonna take place as a result of this expose ....or is it going to be swept under the already bulging carpets of Putrajaya?
Maybe they will do a 'Copperfield' on this one too?
The UPM Chinese Students True Story -A power struggle !
Dear Malaysians!
I refer to the recent controversy regarding the confiscation by the Universiti Putra Malaysia's Special Duties Unit of Yee Yang Yang's laptop and several other items which resulted in a brouhaha implying racial discrimination by the university authorities by those of us concerned bloggers and fellow Malaysians.
As a follow up, I decided to do a research and fact finding study about the case and what do I find?
Things aren't exactly as clear cut as we all thought it to be.
I happened to watch a video clip over at WTV8 which showcased the PBTUPM @ Persatuan Bahasa Tionghua Universiti Putra Malaysia which claims to have been set up since 1990 and yet till today has not been approved or allowed to be registered by the university administration.
WTV8 has captured the students representing the PBTUPM handing over a complaint to SUHAKAM alleging that they are being victimized by UPM for no valid reasons and are being threatened by the university authorities for carrying out their activities without being a registered organization!
So, to those of us who would be prone to just take things at face value, we would get pissed off at such 'blatant discrimination' and 'racist policies'!
The reality is that there is currently an ongoing battle between the PBTUPM and the GMM @ GERAKAN MAHASISWA MAJU another unregistered illegal organization there in the university which was behind the confrontation between the UPM Malay students and the GMM activists recently and plastered all over the internet as we all have seen!
Do you remember the fiasco?
Here is the footage 'cleverly shot by the GMM activists and MerdekaReview.com who staged the whole incident to provoke the Malay students into behaving as they did and captured the video to portray the Malay students as being hooligans and common thugs!
The PBTUPM has voiced out against the manipulations by the GMM who have infiltrated their ranks and responsible for stirring up trouble with the university administration by taking part in various anti-establishment protests and demonstrations, headed by visibly active instigators in the persons of Ooi Tze Min and others listed here :
  1. Tan Kar Hing,Matric ID No. 115690, Bachelor in Business Management
  2. Kong Wee Cheng, Matric ID No. 119717, Bachelor in Science of Biotechnology
  3. Ooi Tze Min, Matric ID No. 126906, Bac.of Engineering in Comp.Comm.Systems.
  4. Kam Poay Hua Matric ID No. 123736, Bac. of Engineering in Comp.Comm.Systems.
  5. Lim Sok Swan Matric ID No. 125768, Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Language (Mandarin)
These fellas are damn dangerous! Because of them, innocent students can and will get hurt! Blood will flow if these rascals are not nabbed and taken to task!
Relating back to the Yee Yang Yang's case, this is what the Vice-Chancellor of UPM has to say as to why his laptop and other items have been confiscated?
Source : Kampus Negara.Net
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

So dear Malaysians,

It looks like the present controversy over there at UPM is nothing short of an ugly campus politics showdown between two rival Chinese students groups!

The legitimate PBTUPM which stands for representation of the Chinese UPM students and promote a better understanding of the Chinese traditions and culture for all the UPM students to learn about and appreciate has seen its ranks being infiltrated by the devious GMMUPM, who have vested interests, hidden agendas, anti-establishment tendencies and cunning instigators as seen by their successful provocations of the Malays students before!

As a result of both unregistered illegal but very active groups both claiming to represent the Chinese students of UPM, the university's administration have naturally kept on hold their approval pending settling down and sorting out of the current power play between the two UPM Chinese students group.

In between, all of us Malaysians are being screwed by the Gerakan Mahasiswa Maju cunning but devious devils who are pitting us against each other by playing the racial card and creating an unhealthy racial issue burning both the Malays and the Chinese communities here in Malaysia.

The DAP are said to be behind the GMM and from the looks of things, we can't deny that the objectives of such GMM activists seem to be heading towards creating a flashpoint to trigger off a bloodbath between both important Malaysian communities, triggering God knows what for this fragile multi-faithed, multi-ethnic nation?

I say, take charge of the situation and go nip the problem in the bud before these instigators cause the nation to implode from within!

This dirty scoundrels need to be charged and hauled before the justice system as a threat to national security and the masterminds sought out and placed under arrest for causing us to wrongfully accuse the UPM authorities of racist policies!

UPM is being played out by the GMM manipulators and the PBTUPM as their scapegoats!

I call upon all Malaysians to not fall victim to this treachery by the criminals masquerading as students!

Before we go and start bashing up each other as a result of falling victim to their instigations, it is important for us to first take a look at the true picture and realize the true situation and know for sure as to who are the real culprits behind this mess?

Go get those @#%^&*#@!

Bashing Malaysia, bashing the BN Govt and bashing bloggers - The Difference.

I am sure that there are many of my fellow Malaysians who would agree with me that there exists in our midst, certain idiots and nincompoops who pass themselves off as 'know it all's' and from day one in setting up their blogs and websites come across as critics extraordinaries!

Yup! These are the experts in everything who can do a better job than any individual here on Earth for the way they criticize and castigate practically each and every one else but their 'perfect selfs'.

I am not much into the category of naming such idiots or making 'ad homineum' attacks against their person for you can figure them out for yourselves!

The advent of the internet has brought out the good, the bad and the absolutely 'uglies' amongst human society, across the whole wide world.

The internet can be a boon to those who use it positively and also vice versa when the demented ones with nothing but total negativity and blackened hearts sit before the computer and spew forth their venom against their chosen target or victim for the day.

In my 3 years of blogging, I have been personally attacked by such useless anonymous cowards for no rhyme or reason except that they couldn't stomach or get to understand what I and like minded individuals try to share with our readers.

A close friend of mine faces similar attacks almost daily for one reason only - that we defend Islam and the Muslims against concerted attacks by the Islamophobes and the way we respond.

MENJ is a young Islamic internet activist who doesn't give no quarter to such vile, uncouth online cowards and has been blogging way before me. He has his own style and approach which differs from mine.

I am more into face to face interactive dakwah and lately have been actively writing online.

I prefer to engage in decent communications and interactions as using foul harsh words and expletives is really not my taste or habit.

Personally, I try my best to avoid wrestling with such online swine for it serves no purpose but to rile us up and its not healthy to do so, especially with such spineless trolls who do not have it in them to engage with us man to man or whatever?

I hold fast to the hadith of the Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam that we must try our best to guard our tongue from speaking of what's not good and to be patient as long as we can when facing such unnecessary adversaries.

All these personal attacks against our persons is uncalled for and reflects upon the gutter mentality of such cowards.

I know that its not easy for us to remain patient and sometimes we do feel so enraged that if the idiot was ever before us and having the gonads to say that to our face, we'd do the natural thing that any offended party will do-kick and smash them down to nothing!

All these is part and parcel with the world of online interactions. Not many amongst the blogging community dare to reveal themselves or are willing to be responsible over what they say or publish!

Personal attacks against a blogger just because you do not agree with him or her is one thing but lately, I am concerned over the rising number of such swine who start bashing the nation for the crimes or abuses of the BN government.

It's one thing to criticize the government for they are the ones running the show and making decisions while riles up the criticizers in the first place but some idiots out there today have started attacking Malaysia whilst remaining here as citizens and enjoying whatever the country has achieved all these while.

To me, this is nothing short of committing treason.

Malaysia is where these idiots have been born in. Malaysia is where these ingrates learned to know anything. Malaysia as a nation has done these idiots no wrong.

You want to criticize the government? Go ahead. Be responsible over what you say or share with others...if.. you have any sense of honor that is to back up your statements with your proofs of wrongdoing by the BN government.

That is part and parcel of living in a democracy. There are certain rights for you as a citizen to voice out against the authorities...properly.

Choice of words. Strength of purpose or conviction. Legitimate grounds for dissent. These are all allowed by the Federal Constitution and also by our respective beliefs.

The problem starts when the criticizer fails to differentiate between criticizing the nation as a whole and the BN ruling coalition of political parties headed by UMNO, MCA, MIC and all the others!

It is anonymous hate mongers like these who spoil the good names and reputations of the blogging community as a whole when they fail to be true gentlemen or women in criticizing just for the sake of their own bloody inflated recalcitrant egos!

As long as these foulmouthed naysayers exist and fail to repent, the blogosphere will remain chastised by the powers that be as worthless gossipers and unworthy of attention from the government or the general public.

It is a shame for these folks who might be not that stupid but wasting their life's away by getting mired down in the bog of hate and unnecessary enmity.

When they die, their legacy will be nothing but hatred and a stinking reputation, despised by all who ever had the misfortune to come across them personally or had to suffer reading all their venom and filth from a polluted mindset.

To such people who seem to love nation bashing, I say this' Wise up and stop the nonsense. Learn to differentiate between criticizing the BN for their decisions and policies and spare the nation for the mistakes of the current government.'

And for God's sake, stop making personal attacks! Discuss and debate if you must by engaging with us in a manner befitting our self instead of calling us this and that. It speaks volumes about your persons.

Not something to be proud of or be able to tell your kids and grandchildren...that is if you make it to that stage at all.

'Mind your own business!' ungkapan biasa dikalangan penduduk kota.

Jika kita bersikap dan bersifat 'ke-aku-aku-an', maka anak anak kita pasti mengikuti jejak langkah kita.

Nak ribut ribut buat apa?

Insya Allah!

Amin Ya Rabbal Alamin.

Wabillahi Taufik Walhidayah. Wassalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Ta'ala Wabarakatuh.

Hijab. Why Muslim Women wear it?

Watch and listen for yourselves why Muslim women wear the Hijab?

The Commandments from Allah, our Creator are found in the verses of the Last and Final Testament to all Mankind, the Holy Al-Qur'an Al Kareem first in Surah An Noor Verse 30 for Believing Men to lower their gaze from looking at the exposed aurat @ areas of modesty of women who are not lawful to them and to guard their own aurat.

30. Qul lilmu/mineena yaghuddoo min absarihum wayahfathoo furoojahum thalika azka lahum inna Allaha khabeerun bima yasnaAAoona

30. Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for them: And Allah is well acquainted with all that they do.

and then in the following verse is the Commandment from Allah to the Believing Women to cover themselves with the hijab over their adornments @ bosom -which is one of the three main attractions to a woman's physique :

31. Waqul lilmu/minati yaghdudna min absarihinna wayahfathna furoojahunna wala yubdeena zeenatahunna illa ma thahara minha walyadribna bikhumurihinna AAala juyoobihinna wala yubdeena zeenatahunna illa libuAAoolatihinna aw aba-ihinna aw aba-i buAAoolatihinna aw abna-ihinna aw abna-i buAAoolatihinna aw ikhwanihinna aw banee ikhwanihinna aw banee akhawatihinna aw nisa-ihinna aw ma malakat aymanuhunna awi alttabiAAeena ghayri olee al-irbati mina alrrijali awi alttifli allatheena lam yathharoo AAala AAawrati alnnisa-i wala yadribna bi-arjulihinna liyuAAlama ma yukhfeena min zeenatihinna watooboo ila Allahi jameeAAan ayyuha almu/minoona laAAallakum tuflihoona

31. And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husband's fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers or their brothers' sons, or their sisters' sons, or their women, or the slaves whom their right hands possess, or male servants free of physical needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex; and that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments. And O ye Believers! turn ye all together towards Allah, that ye may attain Bliss.-

First thing that any normal man would look at when being before a woman would be her face, then her bosom if its being exposed and thirdly her form if not covered properly with adequate clothings.

This natural behavior is transcendental across all ethnicities and universal in mankind's normal behaviors.

By obeying the commandment to cover up by Allah, the Muslim women is acknowledged and accorded due respect for her person than be reduced to being just another object of lust as a primal law of sexual attraction.

This is the norm for rational and reasonable beings yet there are in society today, vicious, barbaric, demented perverted demons who molest and rape even innocent children and women who are properly covered due to their animal urges!

Only recently, the dead naked body of a child was discovered disposed in a duffel bag, stuffed with a full cucumber and brinjal in her private parts, which had caused rupture of her rectum into the abdominal walls, causing her death.

This is the face released by the police of the poor unfortunate girl who is a victim of such vicious animals in our midst.

Does she deserve to die like this? Will there still be advocates to spare the life's of those devils out there raping and molesting the children and women of this world?

I am all for capital punishment upon such barbarians as ordered and commanded by Allah!

The hijab is but a measure to reduce the chances of being harassed and violated by the animals in the midst of human society.

It's a visual deterrent. The world needs to respect women and protect them instead of the current trend to exploit and abuse them .

Listen to what the women featured in the videos are saying and try to understand why Muslim women wear it?

Knowledge is the key to being able to understand and learn to appreciate and co-exist with one another.

Only the ignorants will mock and abuse the ones abiding to God's Will and cause so much pain and suffering to the human society.

Learn to live and let live. Insya Allah.

Anil Netto exposes PGCC Monster of all environmental screwups!

If there is one thing we can rely on Anil Netto's excellent journalistic exposes, it is his eye for detail!

Unlike the 'tame report' which was published by the New Straits Times featuring the launching of the mega behemoth monster of all screwed up projects being planned there in the former Penang Turf Club lands, the reality exposed by Anil shows us a damn bloody scary scenario for my once pristine home island!

Just read this excerpt :

'The project, which is expected to take 15 years to complete, will be built on the existing 104ha Penang Turf Club land here which Abad Naluri purchased for RM488 million in 2002.

It will house two iconic towers, a performing arts centre, upscale retail shopping outlets, a convention centre, 'high-end condominiums' and parks.'

Such a harmless looking report would just escape people's attention if not for Anil's doggedness in letting the whole wide world know what the greedy fellows have in store for the former 'Pearl of the Orient'?

See that 'high end condominiums' mention in that report?

Well, feast your eyes upon the planned 37 'high end condominiums' which will rise up all over the project , each towering up 40 over stories into the sky, jutting out like tombstones, totally destroying whatever tropical paradise reputation that my island state has been famous for all these centuries since Captain Francis Light duped the Sultan of Kedah way back in 1786 and transformed it into the paradise that it was till the fellow in red tie took over from Chong Eu!

The PM shown here launching the Penang Global City Centre can be assumed to be clueless about the disaster that such a gargantuan project would be unleashing onto my island state if not for the expose by Anil here!

Congratulations Anil! May the people of Penang be well aware what the bloody land pirates are planning to launch a potential mega environmental disaster for the pristine hills of Batu Gantong and surrounding flora and fauna of the forest reserve area.

I hope that the Consumers Association of Penang and the Sahabat Alam Malaysia will take up their cudgels and smash this mother of all environmental devastating project down!

Think of the long term damage such a monstrosity project would cause to Penang Island?

Babi Melaka dan Penyokong Parti Pembangkang -Yang mana dalam bahaya?

Assalamualaikum semua.

Bukan masaalah orang Tionghua?

Entah mala'on mana yang tu?

Hairan kita?

Cakap satu...buat satu!

Malaysian Universities Campus Politics - No less intimidating!

Yee Yang Yang, a Malaysian Chinese student at Universiti Putra Malaysia, has found it the hard way that campus politics is just as dirty and intimidating as the real political climate of Malaysia when his hostel room was broken into by campus security - (read) -Special Duties Unit who stole his laptop, mobile phone, MP4 player, pendrive, and certain personal documents recently!

As shown on Malaysiakini.tv video below, the culprit @ notorious for his intimidating highhandedness in the person of the 'Special Duties Unit' Supervisor Zamali Haji Samsi is shown in the Malaysiakini.tv video here demonstrating his arrogant manner in denying the student his right to have his laptop and personal property returned to him immediately!

With such kind of abusive and biased treatment being meted out to these UPM Chinese students by the clearly discriminating campus security, is it any wonder that these students will grow to hate the Malays as a whole for the inconsiderate few amongst the campus security personnel here?

I wonder what the university administrators are doing by allowing such blatant thuggery take place here against their fee paying students who are in fact their paymasters?

Yes! Those students aren't studying there for free, are they?

All the fees being paid by such students and all the rest are pooled into paying the salaries of the lecturers, administrators, campus staff plus those arrogant campus security personnel themselves!

These are university students we are talking about?

What the hell is wrong about them learning to prepare for the realities of life once they graduate?

If they have certain tendencies to be politically inclined and support whatever bloody party they want, its their business and their rights!

It makes no difference to the way things are being run here in this nation as far as the political scenario is concerned.

The BN has had its way all these 50 years and continues to terrorize the Opposition in real life as witnessed by the latest incident involving the shooting of two PAS supporters by the undercover FRU Police special unit personnel at the stopped BERSIH Fair Elections rally in Batu Buruk, Kuala Terengganu!

The universities are the preparation grounds for the nation's bright sparks and young minds to learn to take over from the incumbents running the government and also the opposing political parties.

When you do such things to intimidate them and confiscate their personal laptops and properties, what message are you giving to those students?

'That this current regime is no different from any dictatorial tyrants out there in the world because they will stop at nothing, not even murder to hang on to their power and positions at all costs?'

I feel ashamed to see my fellow 'Muslims' behave so arrogantly especially now in the holy month of Ramadan which clearly doesn't seem to mean much to those despots terrorizing the young students of this nation!

In case, the university's administrators forgot, these are our students, our Malaysian students who have every right to be allowed to study in peace and accorded due respect and honor to be left unmolested and undisturbed to carry on with their academic pursuits!

The more this nation's administrators are focused on race and skin color, the more befuddled will they be in not doing their jobs to the letter and cause our country's higher learning institutions be dismissed off as nothing worthy to be proud of as they will be seen as not qualified to be noted amongst the top universities of the world!

The international academic world will condemn our universities to be nothing but training camps for future blind supporters of the reigning regime and nothing less than that.

Its a shame to the reputation and integrity of the academics of this country to see such discrimination allowed to be taking place there in UPM!

Is the BN condoning such highhandedness of the campus security there? I have yet to see the Minister for Higher Education address this matter? Where the hell is he?

Busy campaigning?

Free Online Multilingual Translator Service-Update

I tried out the service and reversed the translation process and saw my earlier article which I translated using the online translator service and was a bit shocked to see my sentences come out not quite right! :P

Hence, I have deleted the attempted translation. Sorry for that!

Anyway, I still think that this service can be of help for Non Chinese to at least learn the meaning of the chinese scripts which are available.

Nothing beats learning Mandarin the traditional way, eh?

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

As you can see, I have tried to use the Free Online Multilingual Translator Service by republishing my article on Ramadan- what it's all about from English to Traditional Chinese using their free service.

It's limited to a 1000 characters every translation, so I had to copy paste several times depending on the length of the article to and fro from the original article to the translated and cut the translated excerpt and paste it into the new article I was writing.

God willing, when I can afford to , I'd purchase the full service and translate my writings into the main languages of my readers here.

You can try check it out for yourselves. I hope to hear from my Chinese readers whether I got it right or have screwed up here?

Thank you.

UPM Security Confiscate Student's Laptop and Personal Items

Universiti Putra Malaysia is in the news for the wrong reasons again.

Instead of being famous for good academic results of its students, the university is now becoming infamous for the way the students are being victimized by campus security.

As was the case before, it involves Chinese students who are seen standing up for their rights in demanding that the campus security 'Special Duties Unit' Supervisor Zamali Haji Samsi return what's rightfully the personal laptop, mobile phone, MP4 player, pendrive and several documents to the student!

Why is this happening in this university?

What kind of laws are these resulting in a racial polarization and victimization of our students?

Why the hell are the university authorities being so bloody racist? Doesn't augur well for the reputation of the university.

If you don't like to have non Malays students there, might as well make it a Malay only university. Easy for all that way! Saves all people lots of trouble and heartaches!

Maybe UPM stands for Universiti Perkauman Malaysia?

From the way, things are happening there, the description and suggested name change fits it to a 'T'!

No wonder that the Non Malay Malaysians are all for having their own ethnic based universities!

So much for the rhetoric of 'Perpaduan and Muhibbah'!

Any UPM student or staff care to update us on this?

Batu Buruk PAS Supporters Shooting - Some questions?

I refer to the Batu Buruk shooting of PAS supporters by the FRU undercover policeman.

From what we see online is the deviously edited only video being shot by the Terengganu State Communications Unit @ UKOM which clearly shows the preparedness of that particular videographer to catch the PAS supporters reacting in response to the provocations from the undercover police agents after they deliberately tore down the stage for the rally speakers.

Most of us seasoned Malaysians can smell a rat from the feedback of eyewitnesses and the reports that the undercover police agents confiscated digital cameras, cameraphones and video cameras from those present in order to prevent any broadcasting of the free press of the sabotaging of that planned rally.

Malaysiakini managed to get an eyewitness share his experiences of that bloody night where he gave witness on video that he saw the policeman willfully shoot at the PAS supporters whilst running away from a couple of those PAS party members after being involved in an altercation with them.

From the angle of the video being shot by the UKOM videographer, we can clearly see that he shot the video from within the ranks of the FRU stormtroopers.

He had waited well prepared to catch footage of the instigated supporters give way to their emotions after provocations by the police undercover agents.

Another thing that I would like to ask is how come that the police agents managed to take photos of the 9 youths but weren't able at all to take snaps of the helmeted flag burner?

Why? Could it be one of them?

Won't you agree with me that the Batu Buruk incident seems well staged to demonise PAS before the incumbent PM declares the General Election?

This seems to be the modus operandi of our present government. Create a situation where scare tactics are used to maintain their hold of power over the nation by vilifying the Opposition by creating a situation such as what took place at Batu Buruk.

Just like Anwar was demonised as a sodomite and abuser of his power and position before being sacked unceremoniously, PAS is now being castigated as troublemakers and accused of something sinister without furnishing proof of such accusations!

Malaysians, be aware of such lowdown dirty tactics because the way things are going in this nation, don' be surprised if you read of some of the Opposition leaders disappearing from the picture because things can be orchestrated to take place as planned.

You think these can't happen? Think again!

They have started shooting civilians under pretext of being forced to do so. Same thing can happen to any of us.

All these is the work and manipulations of those who obey express orders from the powers that be.

There is more action coming our way. I can just visualize the end results. Not that good for sure!

Thank You Allah by Raihan, Malaysia's # 1 Nasyeed Group

Kg.Rawa Incident -Follow up on Robinson's lament .

I refer to the comment by Robinson where he says :
  • Another incident is the Kampung Rawa incident where the local Hindus were harrassed by Muslims because the temple bells rang out loudly that it interfered with their prayers,they were so agitated that they resorted to rioting, 2000 people gathered in the mosque to go on a jihad against the local Hindus.
  • How many times have non Muslims resorted to violence whenever the azan interrupts their religious activities?
I would like to ask whether Robinson was there in Penang during the incident or speaking based upon what he has read or learned from others who were also not there?

Many folks speak about the Kg.Rawa incident without actually knowing the truth as to what was the root cause and consequential events that led to the confrontation between the Muslims and the Indian Hindus of Penang back then in 1998.

Instead of getting worked up for nothing, it is better for such folks to learn the truth of the matter.

I was there in Penang during the turn of events and can share with you as to what really took place?

But before that, I would like to ask that you read what the Malaysian Parliament has to say about the case? The relevant pages are from page 47 to 51.

USUL MENANGGUHKAN MESYUARAT DI BAWAH PERATURAN MESYUARAT 18(1)

Pergaduhan Dan Ketegangan Antara Agama di Pulau Pinang
3.35 ptg.

Tuan Haji Nik Mohd. Amar bin Haji Nik Abdullah [Pengkalan Chepa]:

Izinkan saya petik sedikit kenyataan rasmi beliau:

(i) Majlis Perbandaran Pulau Pinang bertindak segera, iaitu sewaktu didirikan patung sahaja, bukan menunggu sehingga terdirinya 4 buah kuil sudah sedia ada di sekitar kawasan berkenaan;

(ii) perspektif mengenai toleransi beragama seperti yang dijelaskan di atas benar -benar difahami dan dihormati oleh pihak bukan Islam;

menyebarluaskan Islam ala-Amerika atau Islam ala-Orientalis untuk mengambil hati kuasa-kuasa besar dan memikat pelabur asing tanpa memikirkan akibat dari sikap tersebut;

(iv) pemerintah menghalang pihak bukan Islam bersikap 'overzealous’ dengan menggubal undang-undang sekatan dan pengembangan agama bukan Islam terhadap masyarakat Islam;

Sekian, terima kasih.

Timbalan Yang di-Pertua [Tuan Ong Tee Keat]:

That is what our Malaysian Parliament decided upon the case.

Imagine the scenario. First and foremost, the temple in question was built illegally by certain quarters from the Indian Hindu squatters there at the privately owned land belonging to a Chinese.

The temple started off as a small shrine in front of an Indian squatter family's home and came into being many years later than the existing authorized Surau Kampong Rawa which was upgraded into a gazetted Masjid with the authorities.

The close proximity of the illegal shrine which was slowly built up into a temple by its squatter builders was only about 20 to 30 metres away from the Masjid Kampong Rawa.

From what I heard directly from the Malay villagers living there, that illegal shrine turned Hindu temple was a front for the Indian drug dealers who just did as they pleased and created an unsafe environment for the villagers as a result of their wheeling and dealings there and they were becoming a nuisance when their suppliers and drug addict customers started to ride their noisy motorcycles in and out of the area at all odd hours especially in the wee hours of the night.

The noise pollution from the drug dealing activities was already driving the villagers nuts because of the way the couldn't care less drug dealers went about their business.

This was already becoming a problem for the villagers and they were slowly but surely getting exasperated and pissed off at such unwelcome criminal activities there as a result of the emergence of that illegally expanded temple from being a small squatter family shrine of the Indian squatter family.

Another resulting problem for the villagers there was the influx of drug addicts who started converging at the illegal temple to get their supplies and their fix.

Thefts were becoming rampant and the villagers were getting more incensed by such drug dealers and addicts messing up their place and after losing their items and properties to the thieves.

Now, the illegal temple had been built up to such an extent that they had engaged contractors to build the temple with concrete and pillars complete with domes and the usual layout of a hindu temple ...only thing was that they had no permission to build that temple and the drug dealers never bothered to go ask permission from the land owner and simply did as they pleased.

The problem started escalating when they installed a large temple bell and brought in priests from India who started to carry out the usual Hindu rites and clanged the bells loudly and consequtively coinciding with the main prayer times of the existing officially gazetted Masjid Kampong Rawa!

The clanging of the bells during the major prayer times of the Muslims congregating at the masjid caused many of the Muslim villagers to start getting affected and disturbed the peace and tranquility that they have had all these while during prayers until the emergence of that illegal temple.

The aggrieved villagers started losing their patience when the drug dealing problem added on to their heartaches caused by the disturbance created by the loud clanging bells came to a peak when crime started to skyrocket there caused by the rampant thievery by drug addicts converging there for their supplies from the drug dealers based from the temple.

I first came to know about the problem when I read a poster from the Administration Committe of the Masjid Kampong Rawa asking us Muslims to help them out by showing up for the Friday prayers there in force and after that to stage a demonstration to show our objections about the offending illegal temple's existence too close to the masjid for comfort!

The poster from the Masjid Kampong Rawa authorities which called for support from Muslims in Penang to help raise a protest against the existence of the illegal temple ended up being scanned and posted in the internet and this call was answered by concerned Muslims by turning up at the Masjid Kampong Rawa to listen to the aggrieved Muslims there and slowly the attending number of concerned Muslims started to grow from day to day.

The MPPP had already received news and complaints from the people of Kampong Rawa and they failed to respond to the matter in as prompt a manner as needed.

Usual government department red tape and official bureaucracy was the order of the day and people were getting more angry as a result!

As expected, news about the problem spread like wildfire through the internet and Muslims started to turn up in force at the masjid to show their support as this concerned the religious wellbeing of their fellow Muslims of Kampong Rawa.

As an active Da'ee of the Masjid Kapitan Keling Masjid, I and my colleagues were there to do our bit.

I met Ustaz Asri Zainal Abidin @ the current Mufti of Perlis there as well and many prominent Muslim leaders who turned up to try solve the problems.

Many Muslim lawyers also were there to try and settle the problem but its not easy to dislodge a well established drug dealing syndicate from their illegal temple base for they were making good money from their drug dealings there and won't budge.

Religious sentiments started to be fanned by both parties and gradually the situation there started getting too hot to handle.

The number of Muslims turning up at Kampong Rawa was something that I have never ever seen before in my life.

There were Muslims coming from all over the Peninsular after getting wind of the problem and the atmosphere was just tingling with electricity so to speak from the religious fervor and spirit of Muslim Brotherhood which transcended all political beliefs.

I saw UMNO diehards sit together with PAS strong supporters, Tabligh Jamaat members having drinks with Arqam brothers, in fact at that moment in time, all Muslims morphed into one solid mass of 'Ikhwanul Muslimin' that it brought tears to my eyes and I felt so glad to see all that take place right before me!

The problem united the Muslims as one and to this date, I have yet to see a similar gathering save for the one held by PEMBELA at the Masjid Wilayah Persekutuan relating to the Lina Joy apostasy issue.

I had been there at every gathering and saw all that took place with my own eyes. I worked as a Jewellery Sales Executive at Berkat Jewellers opposite the Masjid Kapitan Keling.

I was familiar with several policemen from the Balai Polis Central, Georgetown, Penang who used to come to sign the police anti-crime foot patrol record book at our shop.

They became my friends and we came to know each other well.

These police friends of mine happened to be ordered to be there at the Kampong Rawa conflict area and they had to form a human chain to prevent overzealous folks from breaking through the now fenced off entrance to the illegal temple.

I was there during one incident when the Muslims were just raging to go destroy the temple structure and my police friends were all there was between some of those totally worked up individuals who were about to lynch the policemen who were stopping them from getting rid of the temple right there and then!

Those who know me will vouch for my readiness to jump right in and take control of any volatile situations and I did just that in saving my police friends from the Balai Central that day!

I know that folks were getting worked up due to the sluggish manner by which the MPPP were dragging their feet in demolishing the structure and also to the Hindus raging emotions as well who were gathering in large numbers along the Hindu majority quarters at Lines Road, just a stone's throw away opposite Kampong Rawa.

Rumours fuelled by lies and raging passions and emotional outbursts added to the tinderbox volatile situation there and the arrival of large numbers of FRU trucks and anti-riot police personnel from the mainland added to the dangerous level of agitated Hindus and Muslims ready to fight it out!

...to be continued.

Anonymous commenters and their hate campaigns

Am I wrong in thinking that most anonymous commenter's are useless individuals wallowing in self pity and working hard to fan racial and religious sentiments or is it isolated cases of mentally challenged, spineless hate mongers, who don't have the courage to reveal themselves for who they truly are because they are usually proven not right?

I can't help but think that this is the reality for usually those who are upfront about who they really are have some substance to back up their views and are willing to discuss and debate in a manner befitting their individual levels of intelligence and professional or even amateurish standpoints.

Just take a look at the way some of these anonymous commenter's speak or those who post just one single entry in their blog to validate their being a blogger?

I think that its something to do with the way our schools are not really educating our young minds out there especially in the goodwill and fair views of acknowledging the good that we have and not allow egocentric and racist or religiously screwed up mindsets!

The nation needs to address this cancer before it spreads and anonymity should not be a license to spew hatred and ill will amongst the online population.

I call upon all fair minded Malaysians to stop the rot especially in the anonymous mindsets!

This exchange is from my article here.

So I presume that's a resounding vote for abolishing the bumiputra policy. Or is there a double standard lurking somewhere in the darkness?

Well anonymous boo,

There is no relevance to what I said about people needing to work for their keep and you assuming that it infers to the bumiputera policy!

Do you seriously think that its up to you or me or anyone else out there?

We are just common citizens. If its to be its up to the Royal Majesties as to what they decree it to be?

Don't daydream that the Malays will be willing to surrender more of their rights than they already have!

Non Malays are fortunate enough to be unhindered in their self enterprise to improve and enrich themselves without having to beg for government subsidies.

Not all the Malays are getting the privileges as it is.

Don't you ever watch TV3 'Bersamamu'?

Who do you think is featured the most?

apart from a few Chinese and Indians, it is the majority of the rural and even urban Malays who are suffering from lack of government aid or their own unfortunate circumstances.

Whatever it is, isn't it right for us to seek our own fortune?

Do not deviate from the topic bro and if you really want to be held credible, don't hide under a pseudonym.

I didn't know that you are another one of those anonymous blog commenters.

I try my best to just respond to bonafide bloggers.

I prefer to know with whom I am engaging in a conversation.

Never liked talking to strangers!

Hope you would be gracious enough to let me know who you are by email?

Thanks. Send it to mahaguru58@gmail.com

Salaam.

Very well spoken mahaguru58 sir! It is hard to respond in a reasonable manner to non-Bumis regarding what they consider as a "discrimination" towards them. It's even HARDER to convince them that Bumis have an equally (if not MORE) fair share of suffering from "discrimination" as well, like what you said regarding TV3's BERSAMAMU.

its just unfair..we INDIANS came to malaya 200 years ago..and still considered 2nd class citizens..whereas bugis,javanease who came much later can njoy bumiputraship!!
the fact is there are marginalisation!!
pls keep in mind without the support from the chinese and indians..Malaysia cant achieve what it had achieved now!!
Who gonna work in railways stations and rubber tapping estate?...who gonna deal the with the timber mining work?..

Malay+chinese+indians = success

priviledge + marginalisation = sharing wealth

Sujend,
The subject matter is not TV3 being pro Malay or whatever!

You seem confused about what we are discussing here young man.

Do not mislead yourself with that kind of 'it's not fair this and that mindset'!

The topic of this article is that your esteemed leader and 'Spear of your Samy @ Deity' is saying that HINDRAF's allegations about the Tamil Indians have been marginalised and forgotten by the Malaysian Government since Merdeka are all bloody lies!

That's the subject matter..not TV3!

Go read up your History books once again and see things for what they are and not what you are deluding yourself with.

Maybe you have yet to learn about what Indians in this country have achieved due to wallowing in self pity or engaged in Malay bashing amongst your peers.

Do not grow up hating others for the lack of enterprise of your fellow Indians who CHOOSE to remain in those rubber and oil palm estates.

See the progress that many Indians have made in the field of business and industry in our nation.

Maybe you have yet to hear of Ananda Krishnan,one of the filthy rich Malaysian Indian billionaires, who owns and runs ASTRO, MAXIS, MEASAT,etc?

Eversendai Corporation, a Malaysian Indian owned Construction giant who built the Burj al Arab in Dubai and are among the largest Malaysian builders and construction companies out there in the Middle East?

I can keep naming and showing you examples of what many Malaysian Indians have achieved since Independence but it will be of no use when you keep your vision focused on the butts of those who CHOOSE to wallow in self pity and lament about why they are in such situations in those estates you mentioned!

HINDRAF are just playing the racial and religious sentiment in stirring up unrest in this nation , championing the illegally built temples and this and that for a purpose.

Check out who are the 'brains' behind HINDRAF and you will see legal eagles who have their own agendas for self advancements not for the community as they would claim loudly through their loudhailers but usually for themselves.

Creating unrest draws attention to themselves. This is a form of trumpeting oneself to let people know about them.

If those of you are really concerned about the welfare of your fellow Indians languishing in the estates, then go educate them about the various opportunities available in our country that are now being grabbed and enjoyed by foreign immigrants to our shores such as the enterprising Indonesians, Bangladeshis, Pakistanis and Vietnamese workers.

All our fellow citizens especially the Indians in the estates do is wallow in self pity and complain like hell!

No one's stopping anyone from doing business or start any self enterprise.

Go check out the various Little India's here in KL, Penang, Ipoh, and all other major cities or towns in this Malay 'favoring' nation!

Until and unless you get rid of that cloud of hatred and animosity clouding your judgment and rationality, you'd remain where you are and complain till Kingdom come!

Robinson's Lament about the Malaysian Religious State of Affairs

I received this comment from Robinson, a visitor to my blog recently responding to my article about why Caliph Umar al Khattab (RA) spared the church in Jerusalem from being subjected to any inconveniences in the future by Muslims who might want to do the same if he prayed inside the church as invited by the church authorities when he visited it after Jerusalem returned to the control of the Muslims?

Although I do not cherish engaging in dialogue with anonymous commenter's, what he has raised is important enough to be given a proper reply to and thus, here I am doing just that.

  • I just don't see what is the point why Muslims always harp on the good deeds they did in the past to show how tolerant they are.
The fact is the non Muslim population is suspicious of the Muslims because of the actions of Muslims of today.
  • If Caliph Umar r.a can do all that, then why are Muslims in Malaysia not so tolerant whenever non Muslims try to build their temples,tokong & churches.
Just look at how the Sabah government banned the erection of the statue of the Chinese Goddess Ma Tzu, even though it was in the compound of the temple ,the reason they gave, there was mosque nearby, but at the same time allow the mosques to broadcast the azan full blast, causing disturbance and noise pollution.

Now they don't just do it to azan, tazkirahs, recitation of the Al-Quran etc are broadcast.

A majority of the non Muslim's don't have problems with the broadcast of the azan,what they do resent is the unfair manner they are treated, you can broadcast azan, but you wouldn't allow non Muslims to erect their own statues within their own compound simply because there is a mosque nearby.
In Malaysia, there are a lot of rules pertaining to the construction of temples and Churches. Sometimes it is impossible to get the permit at all. This is the reason why there are so many illegal temples in Malaysia.
  • The design of the Church or temples are also restricted, for Sikh Gurdwaras they are not allowed to build it with domes.
  • As for Churches, there are restrictions on steeple height,placement of the cross etc.
These restrictions have nothing to do with practical town planning methodology.
  • Non Muslims could clearly see that these unusual restrictions are designed to step on their rights or a way by the government to say that their religion is second class.
You can't repress the love a person has towards his or her religion. If Muslims have the motivation to pray to their God, we non Muslims too have the same amount of affection and attachment to our religion and God. These type of actions and regulations are the sort of things that eclipse the gestures shown by Muslim rulers in the past.
  • In fact they render them totally unreliable,because it leads people to think "are sure they did all these good things maybe it is just publicity stunt, for we could see things that are of the opposite being done in front of our eyes".
Muslims can't always depend on the actions of their past leaders for every good leader there is a rotten guy down the street. Every empire kingdom and government in History has had this,Muslim kingdoms too have had these buffoons too. The same goes to the statement of the author "...how Islam is so condescending towards other faiths but other faiths aren't so reciprocal when dealing with us?" In Malaysia thanks to globalization, we know what is taking place in other countries.
  • The author should really research about how Muslims are being treated in non Muslim countries.
In Thailand , a country that has only 4.6% of its population as Muslims has had a Muslim speaker of Parliament, Muslim Minister of Interior and even the Chief of the Army currently is a Muslim.
  • In Malaysia, there hasn't been even a non Muslim district officer, even in largely non Muslim states such as Sabah and Sarawak there are no non Muslim Chief Minister.
  • The highest ranking Non Muslim is the Chief Minister of Penang, a Chinese has had to face many discreet movements by the Muslim Malay Party of UMNO to wrest his seat.
Further more, there are many non Muslim states that accept Muslim heads of government and high ranking officials. In Africa, largely Christian Tanzania has a Muslim President, Muslims only form 35% of the population, Malaysia Boleh ke?
  • Non Muslim can't even become the Mentri Besar.
Muslims too have held high ranking positions like Vice president in other Non Muslim countries. Uganda which has only 12.1% Muslims had Idi Amin, a Muslim as a president.
  • This is one of the reasons why Non Muslims sometimes insinuate that the Muslims are only good if they want something from us, but once they are in power, they don't like to share it with us on an equal footing.
In Buddhist Thailand too, The National Council for Muslims, consisting of at least five persons (all Muslims) and appointed by royal proclamation, advise the Ministries of Education and Interior on Islamic matters.

Its presiding officer, the State Counselor for Muslim Affairs, was appointed by the king and held the office of division chief in the Department of Religious Affairs in the Ministry of Education.
Provincial councils for Muslim affairs existed in the provinces that had substantial Muslim minorities, and there were other links between the government and the Muslim community, including government financial assistance to Islamic education institutions, assistance with construction of some of the larger mosques, and the funding of pilgrimages by Thai Muslims to Mecca, both Bangkok and Hat Yai being primary gateway cities.

Thailand also maintained several hundred Islamic schools at the primary and secondary levels, as well as Islamic banks, (Pattanakarn, Bangkok), shops and other institutions.
Much of the packaged food marketed is tested and labeled halal (unless it has pork), regardless of who eats it. All this in a country where Muslims form only 5%.
  • In Pakistan, where a similar percentage of Non Muslims exist, their temples and churches are subject to bombings and attacks.
  • In Malaysia, beef is served everywhere, and it is not being labeled to avoid confusion among Hindus.
  • If we ask, " Is this beef? " There is always a kind of cynical expression in the faces of the Muslims who serve it.
In retrospect it is not the actions of past Muslims that form the opinion of Non Muslims about Muslims but present actions both here and overseas that do. You ask about reciprocity, the same question is also lingering in the mind of Non Muslims as well.

Well, that's his thoughts expressed out loud for all to read and I can understand what he's trying to say but as usual, there are certain things he has raised here that is true but also some issues that aren't due to the fact that it is just what he imagines things to be or figured as the actual truth of what really transpired such as his referring to the Kampong Rawa Incident in Patani Road, Penang.

Anyway, I will address what he has raised subjectively according to the order of them appearing in his comment.

  • "I just don't see what is the point why Muslims always harp on the good deeds they did in the past to show how tolerant they are."
Robinson seems to forget that we are here today as heirs to what our forefathers did in the past. Without the past, there is no present.

If we do not live by learning from the past, then what guarantee is there that we will not commit or repeat the same mistakes that have been done by our predecessors?

So, instead of dismissing off what the Muslim leaders have achieved in the past, it is better to learn from their achievements and see to it that we go about achieving similar objectives by not forgetting such successes!

Are we that arrogant in denying the great deeds of our past leaders?

Such insolence never brought anyone any good. Not anyone who lived in the past, living now in the present or will be living in the future!

So, please do not be denying the past if you want to be able to appreciate what you can achieve in your future?
  • If Caliph Umar r.a can do all that, then why are Muslims in Malaysia not so tolerant whenever non Muslims try to build their temples,tokong & churches?
This statement is so preposterous, that if I haven't come to a stage now where I can calmly be here trying to answer such idiotic statements from a clearly frustrated individual who has spoken in such a way because of certain situations in our country, I'd just simply delete his comments into oblivion and not entertain such idiocy.

Are you blind to the tallest Hindu statue here in this uncompromising Malay heartland?

If it is as you say that the Muslims in Malaysia are intolerant of temples and churches , then what the hell is that ?

Sometimes people do not realize what they have until it is all taken away from them!

This land has its own laws and regulations. In case you have forgotten, this land was called Tanah Melayu or Malaya for a reason.

Yes it is true that the Malays were once Hindus and Buddhists but don't you ever forget that the Father of all Mankind was a Muslim and that as Muslims we worship only Almighty Allah!

This is the truth. That is if you have it in you to study about the Origin of Mankind and are capable of digesting fact and not fiction.

Imagining this and that to be your Creator is just a figment of your imagination.

That statue is just that. It is a statue. A created thing. Made up of cement and iron frameworks. Painted by man. Set up there at its location. In case a bloody earthquake takes place right there at its location, that statue is not gonna spring up and run away from the spot.

I can go on and on but I believe that you get my drift.

Never forget that other nations aren't as tolerant as Malaysia in allowing freedom of religion to be practiced by its multi-ethnic, multi-faithed population.

Maybe you have yet to see the sprawling Kek Lok Si Temple Complex in Ayer Itam, Penang, eh?

The intolerant Malay dominated UMNO Government has been so cruel eh?

How can they be so cruel so as to let the Non Muslim Chinese go build such a huge sprawling temple complex like that, huh?

Tch..tch..tch..this cannot be! Right?

Maybe you should check out what a foreigner @ David Reid has to say about the 'intolerance' we practice here in Malaysia?

Here is an excerpt from his blog describing the Kek Lok Si complex :

A quick bus ride away on the edge of the city is Kek Lok Si, a Buddhist temple complex which sprawls over a hillside. It claims to be the largest Buddhist temple in Southeast Asia. Exploring its halls and pagodas reveals many beautiful Buddha statues and artworks. The temple's hillside location also offers many great views of the city. The temple's crowning glory is a 108 feet tall statue of Kwan Yin reached by a ride in an inclined lift.

This is too much, huh? What a bloody, intolerant country Malaysia is in allowing all these in an Islamic country! Tch..tch..tch..tch...

Err...did you know that they are gonna build the largest church right smack in the middle of this intolerant Malay Muslim heartland?

If you didn't know that, I suggest you visit them here. How can this be, I ask you? What are the UMNO Malays thinking of allowing this in intolerant Muslim favoring Malaysia?

This is where they are going to build the largest Church here in this lousy, intolerant, Muslim nation! What do you have to say about that, eh?

Tell you what Mr.(anonymous) Robinson, I will follow up on this tomorrow. You know lah.

Its Ramadan now and we intolerant uncompromising Muslims have lots of prayers to perform in this month.

God willing, I will continue with my explanations tomorrow. Catch up with you later. Cheers!

Batu Buruk Shooting - Eye Witness Says PDRM are Lying!

Malaysiakini has managed to get an eye witness @ Encik Osman Ismail to give his testimonial about how he saw with his own eyes the FRU undercover policeman shoot at Suandi and the other PAS supporter whilst running away from the scene!

He says he saw it all clearly as it took place before him and that the newspapers and mass media are lying!

He refutes the PDRM's claims that the FRU policeman was assaulted by 20 over PAS supporters and had fired in self defense lying helpless on the ground with just 1 shot which was later changed by the Terengganu CPO later to the actual 4 shots!

Encik Osman said that he saw only 3 to 4 men confronting the FRU guy and that one man had thrown a punch at the FRU guy which landed on his right shoulder and prompted the FRU guy to run away, chased by the couple of PAS fellows!

Encik Osman said that the FRU guy had fired 4 to 5 shots at the PAS supporters whilst running resulting in the two PAS supporters being hit by the bullets and seriously injured!

This is the reason why it is important for us to help share the truth of what has actually taken place there in Batu Buruk and why we can't trust the mainstream news media for the way they lie openly through their teeth, laying blame on the PAS supporters for what is now clearly a well planned agenda to wreak havoc in our nation by irresponsible instigators hiding behind a charade of being the righteous ones?

Here are two comments from Malaysiakini's posting of the 'Riot at Batu Buruk' YouTube videoclip taken from UKOM @ Unit Komunikasi @ the Terengganu State Government Communication Unit who 'happened' to be there?

The whole incident looks so ugly. Who is the cause behind citizens being unhappy to the extent that they have to throw stones at the armed forces. We all need to go back to our basics of Chanting Gods names and ask for divine help. There is no hope asking help from materialistic leaders.

Commented by Anak_perelih on Friday, 14 September 2007

Clearly the video shows the word "UKOM".. UKOM stands for "Unit Komunikasi Kerajaan Negeri" which is the state government communication unit http://www.nstp.com.my/Corporate/nstp/current/news/20070215163252/Article/index_html

This shows the abuse of the state's machinery for the party's interest as in the beginning of the video it clearly shows "PAS Mengganas".

Another thing is why only reporter from UKOM manages to capture the picture/video, not other reporters even from mainstream media.? and they even captured the video from within the police... why did the UKOM reporter is there if the riot was spontaneously erupted, it must be planned before that the reporter from UKOM is there to capture the video.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Talk about a staged riot! The title at the start of this clip says it all.
This is not healthy for our nation that has managed to progress in terms of racial and religious harmony after all these years.
I call upon those in power to remember Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and that they will be held accountable for whatever that they do here on earth and that not a dot escapes His Observance of all that we do!
We don't need such troubles, not now, not forever!
If it is to be, it will be and that is something that we as Muslims must believe with all our hearts.
Do not cause mischief and hardship for your fellow citizens as we all deserve to co-exist in peace and work together to help improve our nation in all ways possible.
Take a break from following our ego's and uphold the spirit of Ramadan in our hearts!
No more instigations. Respect the holy month and stop your witchhunt's. For Allah's sake!
The thing is that truth will always prevail ...if not now..then later.
Would the instigators be proud of their crimes then? Think!
Enough bloodshed! Go for peace. Insya Allah!
The Witchhunt of Batu Buruk 'Rioters' is on!
Have you seen the short 'riot clip' that they are showing on RTM every now and then?
They have added and intermixed clips from other countries where rioters were shown being on the streets throwing stones and burning things to end it with the infamous mysterious helmeted idiot burning our national flag in the Batu Buruk incident!
They top it off with ' Ini bukan budaya kita!' Yeah right!
Our culture is committing fitnah against citizens who just want to gather and listen to their leaders speak against the corrupt and irresponsible ones in government!
Our culture is to play dirty and cause havoc just before every GE and By-Election!
Our culture is to hire goons and thugs to rough up innocents and intimidate the Opposition into giving up their dreams of living in a free nation!
Our culture is to call anyone who doesn't agree or kowtow to us as 'troublemakers and traitors to the nation'.
Our culture is to hold back allocation funds for projects in the Opposition held constituencies and let the place go to waste whilst we misappropriate such funds for our own use.
Our culture is to deny the Opposition airtime to state their points and to warn any media from giving space to the Opposition in their publications or broadcastings.
We also have a last measure of using the ISA, OSA and all kinds of A in the pipeline waiting for them to disappear from sight for a while whilst we sweep clean all opportunities for ourselves!
This is the start of the campaign to discredit the Malaysian main Opposition party @ PAS because it is the only party from the Opposition that has to date been able to defeat the BN and run two states, Kelantan and Terengganu on the Malaysian Peninsular's East Coast.
PAS lost Terengganu narrowly in the last general elections due to Haji Hadi Awang's failure to come across as a genial down to earth leader. The guy is just being himself, tough and stern. That's his character. You don't expect him to turn into a drama actor, do you and put up a false front?
He has issued the edict against UMNO members before @ Amanat Tuan Guru Hadi where he labels UMNO members as Kaffirs for failing to uphold the Qur'an ans the nation's Supreme Constitution.
You can't blame the man for stating his mind openly. That's his views.
The BN naturally after having been in power all these years will not idly stand by and watch the Opposition gain and garner strength pending the arrival of the General Election.
They will launch all kinds of campaigns to undermine the opposition.
This clip is a cut n paste job of riot scenes from Pakistan and Bangladesh, ending with that agent provocateur in the helmet burning the national flag and then we have that catch phrase' Ini bukan budaya kita!'.
Clever? Nahh! Guys like me can easily figure out how shallow such a smear campaign is?
Too amateurish if I may say so!
With today's advancements in the field of media editing and technology, that is a lame attempt to vilify PAS using a trick and repeating it in a loop over and over again.
Sort of an idiotic manner to tar and feather the PAS fellows and make them be seen as the bad boys of the nation.
That helmeted nincompoop burning the flag could have been anyone but to say that he represents PAS is plain stupid!
Any paid actor or in this case, instigator could don a helmet and burn whatever flag or insignia they want?
The ones responsible for this should have gone one step further.
They should have had the idiot don a bloody jubah and adorning a serban, wearing a PAS flag to make it easier to incriminate the Islamic party and burning the Jalur Gemilang, UMNO flag, even the Agong's flag so to speak!
That would make it easier to influence the ignorants among Malaysians to swallow their propaganda dirty tactics and hate PAS blindly!
What do the instigators take us for? Stupid?
C'mon lah! That's just insulting the intelligence of the Malaysian public or are we still in the stone age to believe all the crap they are dishing out like that RTM smear campaign?
You need to do more than that lah RTM! Go learn from Hollywood!
U guys are a bloody joke! Don't make us puke with your amateurish production! No class!
Why Caliph Umar Al-Khattab spared the Jerusalem church?
I wish to share with you today a page from History which shows how Islam is so condescending towards other faiths but other faiths aren't so reciprocal when dealing with us?
When the Caliph Umar Al-Khattab entered Jerusalem to receive the keys to the city,
he was invited to pray inside the church, but he declined.
He refused to do so, though he was in a position of strength and could do as he pleased.
He refused, though he did not in any way disdain from praying in the church.
He said, showing great foresight and sensitivity:
“I fear that if I pray inside, the Muslims of future times will wish to pray in the same spot and will cause discomfort for the church’s congregation.”
Umar, instead, prayed outside the church and spoke a guarantee to the Christians for their lives and security.
Too many people see the
idea of coexistence as merely a strategy to resort to in times of weakness. This is not true at all.
What we see if we observe the world is that
coexistence really comes into full flower and sets its roots deep when there is strength.
The societies, which have the power to promote coexistence and peace, are the same ones who have the power to instigate and successfully conduct a war.
By contrast, those who are weak can neither conduct war nor bring about peace. It is, indeed, at times of weakness and instability that we find the noble idea of coexistence to be most imperiled.
Though
Richard the Lionheart had once killed 2,700 Muslim prisoners of war on a single occasion and hung their bodies around the walls of the city of Acre, breaking the agreement he had made with the Muslims, we see that Saladin, when he retook Jerusalem, guaranteed the lives of everyone, Jews and Christians alike, though he was more than capable of exacting revenge.
He instead entered into the Treaty of Ramla with Richard on the 2nd of September, 1192, whereby the city would stay in Muslim hands but would remain open to Christian pilgrimages.
This is one of the hallmarks of coexistence in medieval history.
Muslim history, which is full of periods of strength and victory, is at the same time a testament to coexistence in action.
It is a history of peace treaties, agreements, and covenants with others.
The success of coexistence depends upon the airing of rational voices willing to engage in fruitful dialogue, through which desired results can be achieved with ease.
By contrast, the failure of coexistence is ensured when irrational and foolish voices take over, of people who care nothing but for the gratification of their own interests.
Such people rely upon the discourse of strength and coercion in their understanding of the world and in their decision-making.
Such are people who see conflict as the key to dealing with others.
They cannot look at things from the vantage point of our shared humanity, our universal values, and the common needs and interests that all people have.
Kind treatment, genuine concern and friendship, treating others well in words and in deeds – these are the ways to bring an end to hatred and reconcile people as in the verses here.
Coexistence preserves human life. It opens the doors to dialogue.
It is the atmosphere in which the Message of Islam prospers, where it can present itself with the reason, evidence, and logic that so enriches the Quran.
It is this willingness to live and let live that has made Islam to be so widely accepted and embraced worldwide even though there were no Muslim armies having even set their foot upon our soil and so many other nations here on Earth.
The problem today is that there aren't that many amongst the Muslims who have the foresight of Saiyidina Umar Al-Khattab and the magnanimous benevolent spirit and genius of Saladin al Ayubi , the brilliant and courageous Muslim leader being mentioned here.
Co-existence is what we Malaysians are putting to practice here in our nation.
It will be a tragedy if we let those amongst us who are sick and devious to rend it all asunder by succumbing to unnecessary racial and religious hatred spurred on by those who have a hidden agenda and vested interests to see this country implode from within.
Malaysian Muslims are already divided between two major camps - UMNO and PAS.
We do not need this innovative misrepresentation ultimate bida'ah of Islam Hadhari being pushed down the throats of the Muslims here and the rest of the world by our airhead rhetoric spewing misleader.
Being in the holy month of Ramadan warrants me to ease off from expressing in full what I think of this added divisive wedge being hammered into our midst but God willing, I'd share more after the holy month is over as to why I am so bloody worked up against it?
In the meantime, dear Malaysians especially those of you Non Muslims, please learn to study about the true Islamic teachings before making assumptions against it based on reading distorted reports or articles about Islam, God Almighty's Way of Life prescribed to each and every one of us to live by.
I know that deep in your hearts, you do know that what I am sharing here with you makes sense . Listen to your soul and open yourselves up to the Love and Mercy of the Almighty.
May God bless us all . Ameen.
Hamid Albar kicked the BBC's ass on HardTalk
Did you catch the Hamid Albar interview on BBC's Hardtalk recently?
It felt good to see him handle Sarah Montague, the pompous British HardTalk Tv host with the firmness and seasoned manner befitting his position as our Foreign Minister by the way he gave her a thrashing every now and then when she tried to corner him into admitting this and that about our nation?
She was outrightly rude to DS Hamid when she kept interrupting him when he was giving his replies or clarifying his points.
If this is a measure of British etiquette or civilization after all these years of their so called Western progress, then I'd rather stick to our much more cultured and amiable Eastern values where we allow others to finish speaking before we do?
Sarah Montague was very rude and deserves to not be allowed to interview our Foreign Minister or any other Malaysian Government official until or unless the interviewers learn to respect our government leaders!
It is one thing for us to take our ministers to task here in our spaces but I will never stand by and watch a foreigner come in and bad mouth or attempt to ridicule our people no matter if they are from the current BN government or opposition?
These are our internal affairs and best left to us. The outsiders should go attend to their own affairs first!
Not like the British, American, Australian or any other nation out there are any much better than us?
It was bad enough watching Anwar Ibrahim getting grilled but to see the BBC woman try to be so bloody 'kurang ajar' to our Foreign Minister was simply too much for me to bear!
Anwar Ibrahim got toasted in his session last time and I was a bit pissed off at Anwar for failing to give that HardTalk host an equal brushoff as what Hamid Albar has succeeded!
Anwar's a well known orator and learned individual but the poor man wasn't up to his usual self when he allowed the HardTalk host to skewer him time and time again in that interview.
Hamid Albar must probably be well aware of the HardTalk host's pressuring tactics to get her way and that's probably the reason why he was able to fend off her attacks and dish out some of his own smashing her every now and then!
Bravo! At least there's someone in the Malaysian Cabinet who has the brains and the balls to go about it especially in defending Malaysia on the international scene albeit of all the kind of nonsense we have going on here in our government.
I am proud of our Foreign Minister for the way he handled himself in the interview. Wish that there were many more like him in government.
I am not saying that I support the current bida'ah introducing Premier. No bloody way!
Far from it...but I am just glad to see someone like Hamid Albar give the likes of the BBC's HardTalk hosts like Sarah Montague a taste of her own pushy bitter medicine!
There's a download link here for you to watch that interview.
It's good to see a Malaysian leader kick ass once in a while instead of being made to look like a fool on international television by those nasty HardTalk hosts! Well done Pak Hamid!
You would have made a better PM had Tun Mahathir chosen you instead of you know who?
Mr.Wong now knows why Muslims fast?
I am posting here an exchange between a visitor to my blog who commented that after reading my article as to Ramadan-What it's all about?
It's heartening to know that I have helped a fellow being understand why Muslims fast in Ramadan?
This is exactly what I have been striving for all these while?
Sharing information to all about Islam in as clear a manner and as simple as I can to pass the message as to what Islam is and what it is not?
Unfortunately, we have amongst us so many learned Muslims who do not do just that!
Our learned scholars and ulamaks almost always embroil themselves with the nitty gritty of Islamic jurisprudence and academic qualifications that they miss the forest for the trees.
All those wise, learned folks amongst us waste away their life and remaining age with focusing on unnecessary squabbling about 'tauliah' and this and that that they end up not passing on their knowledge to others in the enjoined practical way.
What good is graduating from whatever universities or colleges with all those PhD's, Masters in this and that, Degrees, Diploma's, Certificates, etc when one doesn't spread his or her 'Ilm to all others in as clear a manner as possible?
It's high time to come down from your high horses and share what you know with your Brothers and Sisters, the Children of Adam Alaihis Salam so that they too will benefit from Allah's Final and Complete Instructions to us all by way of the Holy Al-Qur'an Al Kareem and the authentic Hadiths of His Last Messenger to us all, Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam.
Insya Allah.
Now finally get to know why :P Thank... I thought it's something like going thru a life like those who are starving so something like that...
Glad to have enlightened you Mr.Wong.
Islam is actually a Way of Life that Almighty God Himself, Allahu Ta'ala prescribes for us, his Creation.
He knows us best. Just like a manufacturer.
A manufacturer knows about his product.
What it can do and what it is capable of?
Just like us buying a DVD player.
There are certain kinds of players with certain adaptabilities.
A VCD player can't play a DVD but a DVD can play a VCD.
Human beings can upgrade ourselves to be the best that we can possibly be.
If we do not follow the instruction manual of the manufacturer, chances are that we will spoil the product by misusing it or under utilize the item.
Same situation here with us human beings.
Allah the Almighty created us.
He has been sending Prophets and Messengers to us human beings since Time immemorial to show us the way to reach our best through His teachings sent via the 124,000 over Prophets and Messengers.
Yet like the recalcitrant beings that most of us are, we refuse to obey instructions.
We just fumble along as we please obeying our ego's instead of following His Manual @ the Holy Qur'an.
As a result, life for human beings is as you see it.
Many suffer unnecessarily because the majority of us and our forefathers did not and do not follow God's instructions.
History shows us how certain human beings misuse or misinterpret God's Instructions and deviate from the true path leading to our salvation and success.
The end result is that we end up suffering both here on this world and in the next.
Fasting is an important tenet and principle of Islam.
When we fast, we fast purely for the sake of obeying Allah.
It is not meant to impress anyone or to show that Muslims are sickos or crazy to go starve themselves needlessly!
No. Fasting is an order from Allah to us Muslims.
It is good for us that it helps burn off all the accumulated toxins and unhealthy cholesterol that has piled up in our getting sicker bodies by jump starting our body to trigger burning off those unhealthy stuff stored up inside of us when we stop eating and drinking.
Just like our car running on the spare tank of petrol after the red light comes on.
The engine needs to burn petrol in order to keep working which is sort of the same here with us Muslims fasting.
Doesn't mean that when we fast, we go curl up in a corner and sleep it off.
No way. We go on with our life's but we also realize that this is a month of special extra bonuses and rewards for those of us who follow Allah's instructions.
When we fast, we go all out to take care not to screw up by committing any sin.
No more ogling at the exposed flesh that we see being shown for free in this gone stir crazy society! :P
No more talking bad about Abdullah Badawi and his rhetoric spewing cabinet for a month.
Hehehehe...afraid that it will lessen our fasting rewards.
Minus all those bonus points that Allah promises to those who take care of the standard of their fasts.
So, we have to observe the best behavior of ourselves that we can when we are fasting.
No more honking at the slow dumb ass driver up ahead of us but to try and stay cool reminding ourselves, 'I'm fasting...I'm fasting..' and try to smile at the idiot! :D
Fasting is a month of self control.
It sure helps those of us living here today in this challenging world.
So, Mr.Wong, there's a reason why Islam has certain guidelines on how to live as a Muslim.
There is a reason why we need to believe in only ONE GOD?
There is a reason why we need to pray 5 times a day?
There is a reason why we need to fast during Ramadan?
There is a reason why we must give charity @ 2.5% out of our excess incomes?
There is a reason why we must travel to Makkah and perform our Hajj?
Islam has all the valid reasons why it is as it is?
It is from our Creator and He knows us best.
As long as we put it to practice, we can rest assured that we will get the benefits from following the instruction manual of our Maker which has been revealed to us in complete form by the Last Messenger of God, a 1400 over years ago in Makkah, Arabia.
It is up to us to go learn from the manual and to put it to practice in order to gain the maximum benefits from the instructions.
Thank you for your comment.
Feel free to write to me and ask anything that you wonder about Islam?
God willing, I might be able to help you out.
Take care and have a nice life.
May Allah guide us all. Ameen.
Ramadan -What it is all about?
Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
Ramadan is the holiest month in the Islamic calendar for Muslims. In this month, those who are true believers of Almighty Allah will fast from before the Fajr @ Pre-Dawn prayers and observe the fast until the Maghrib @ Sunset prayers.
It is a commandment from Allah the Almighty upon the believing Muslims in the Holy Qur'an.
183. Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo kutiba AAalaykumu alssiyamu kama kutiba AAala allatheena min qablikum laAAallakum tattaqoona
183. O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that ye may (learn) self-restraint,--
Fasting is done solely for the sake of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and initiated with making the niyyat @ intention which is :
"Nawaitu sa'um maghdin an adaa ii fardhii shahrii ramadhana hazihis sanatii lillahi ta'ala".
meaning:
"I intend to fast tomorrow fulfilling the Fard of Ramadan this year for the sake of Allahu Ta'ala".
The commandment to observe fasting was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad in the month of Syaaban in the 2nd year after Hijrah from Makkah Al-Mukarramah to Madinah Al-Munawwarah.
Fasting does not mean starving oneself as imagined by ignorants amongst us.
It is simply refraining oneself from taking food or drinks and not doing anything which will nullify one's fast.
Fasting does not stop a Muslim from working or doing any legitimate action as usual during his or her fast.
Fasting will allow our bodies to start burning off excess fat stored all this while in ourselves bringing about a better state of health for us, body and soul.
Medically it has been proven that regular fasting acts as a spring cleaning of one's physical self whilst spiritually, it brings one closer to one's Creator as the Islamic fast is an act of faith that is carried out solely for the sake of Allah.
Read here to learn about what the Hadiths of the Last Messenger teaches us about Fasting and the do's and don'ts of it.
Society benefits tremendously during Ramadan. People are more generous during Ramadan as they will be trying to gain the most blessings by observing all righteous deeds such as giving out charity to the poor and generally refrain from quarreling with one another, fighting, cheating, gossip, backbiting, etc which are part and parcel of daily human life, all over the world.
Ramadan is also a time for making peace with one another and enmity takes a break because fasting Muslims are forbidden to do anything offensive against anyone.
It is enjoined upon a fasting Muslim to give sadaqah and engage in charitable activities. We are enjoined to offer more acts of prayer and to be civil to even our enemies.
As a result, life turns better as a whole for the entire society.
There are many other benefits gained during Ramadan but I will share them with you later.
Have a nice Ramadan people. We need it. The whole world needs to take a break from strife and look for ways to live in peace and goodwill amongst us.
Wabillahi taufik walhidayah. Wassalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
Malaysian Opposition - Are they able to deliver an alternative government?
We all know that the current BN government is not actually the best form of government to lead Malaysia to a better, just future for all.
A government that is made up of individual politicians whether from the current BN Coalition or the Opposition BA made up of PAS, DAP and the PKR will always be straddled with problematic ministers because it is human nature to forget one's oath of being an upright, honest to goodness public servant once power and its trappings starts to get at the elected or appointed individual.
The BN Coalition of UMNO, MCA, MIC, GERAKAN and other minor political parties have been running the government since this nation came into being.
Through the years, we have seen this country slowly but surely transform itself physically in the form of developments in infrastructure and its consequent modernization of the people's lifestyle especially those living in the cities and suburban areas.
This development will continue to take place if the nation is led by responsible persons in authority and our country has seen that take place especially during the premiership of Tun Dr.Mahathir Mohamad, the 4th Prime Minister after Tunku Abdul Rahman, Tun Abdul Razak and Tun Hussein Onn.
Mahathir's tenure as the PM lasted 22 years and he was able to initiate and bring about Malaysia to be what it is today.
Problems especially the scourge of corruption and abuses of power by elected and appointed officials are the norm in any country but it is something that can be avoided or handled effectively if the offenders are duly taken to task and punished according to the laws of the land.
The whitewashing and acquitting of corrupt ministers and officials has become a trend here in Malaysia and 4 years after the incumbent premier took over control and power from Tun Mahathir, the situation remains the same if not worse!
What I would like to know is whether the nation's Opposition consisting of the 3 political parties of PAS, DAP and PKR are able to give us a better effective alternative government to replace the current BN?
Talk is cheap. Any aspiring politician can say this or that and castigate the current ruling government but the reality is whether the Barisan Alternatif @ BA can deliver what they seem to promise?
What lineup does the BA have for us?
Have they come to an agreement or compromise between them?
Whom do they propose as their choice to be our alternative Prime Minister?
Which party is actually ready to form the next government if let's say the people of Malaysia do decide that they have had enough of the BN?
I have yet to hear of PAS and DAP be able to sit together and come to terms between them especially about the issue of PAS wanting to turn Malaysia into a truly Islamic State or nation by upholding and implementing the true Laws of Almighty Allah @ the Islamic Syaria to be the Supreme Constitution of Malaysia and the matter of the DAP wanting to turn this nation into a Malaysia for Malaysians where the current system of giving preferential treatment to the Malays as Bumiputra's will be removed and all Malaysians supposedly will be treated the same?
That's the same hype that we hear take place down south in Singapore but the reality is that the Singapore Malays have been sidelined by the PAP Government since day one when Lee Kuan Yew became the Prime Minister of that island republic.
The DAP is our version of the Singapore PAP. As we all know the DAP is made up of mostly the Chinese ethnicity.
For all the melodrama and theatrics that politicians will put up, reality will come home to roost in form of preferential treatment to cronies and nepotism which we see take place in almost every political party.
This is prevalent in the DAP but the situation is not there in PAS. The situation in PKR is that we have Anwar Ibrahim, the deposed former Deputy Prime Minister during Tun Mahathir's tenure as Premier declaring himself to be the 'de facto' leader of PKR which is being led by his wife, Wan Azizah.
Things aren't exactly hunky dory in PKR with the recent defections of several prominent leaders from the party which was set up mainly to fight for the release of Anwar from imprisonment and after his release during Abdullah Badawi's premiership after taking over from Mahathir.
So to me, I doubt whether the so called alternative coalition of the 3 Opposition parties have for us an alternative lineup of their proposed government to replace and remove the BN from power come the next General Elections?
Has PAS and DAP made peace between them yet?
From what I know, both parties have yet to come to a compromise or agreement about the subject of making Malaysia an Islamic State and the DAP has been consistent in opposing such a move from day one!
So, where does that leave us ?
Looks like we are stuck with the current BN?
Anyone care to update me as to whether the BA are ready to rumble against the BN?
Masjid Kapitan Keling - My Favourite Sanctuary in Penang
Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
How time flies! Seemed like only yesterday that I was back home in Penang briefly to go get my herbal medication for my Diabetes Mellitus condition!
I look forward to seeing my sanctuary in Penang each time I come nearer to my home island and my eyes yearn to catch a glimpse of its stylish minaret and the beautiful black dome.
Used to be painted yellowish gold but since the last restoration work, they have painted it back to black.
Yes, I am talking about the only masjid in Penang which captured my heart and enslaved my soul amongst its towering pillars which has always held up my favourite abode of peace and tranquility in the historic City of Georgetown, Penang Island- the Masjid Kapitan Keling.
This is myself during the times when I was living in Penang, carrying out interactive face to face Dakwah Walkabouts with our team from the Islamic Centre based at Masjid Kapitan Keling.
Even today, whenever I return home to Penang, I'd take the opportunity to reach out to the visiting tourists and share with them about Islam.
This is my base in Penang. The blessed mosque from where me and my friends used to go out on our Dakwah Walkabouts along the streets of Georgetown, especially along Chulia Street, home of backpackers and pubs , the place where tourists congregate and vice flourishes without any hindrance from the powers that be.
Photo above was taken when a fellow Da'ee Haji Abdurrahman from England joined us in our dakwah activities back then. Looking on with the big bushy beard and white skullcap is one of my closest buddies , Haji Mohamad Yassin, a tough guy and Italiano speaking Sufi mureed and fellow Da'ee.
Between them wearing the green skullcap is Brother Mohamad Ali, a fellow activist. The tourist was from Europe and was very interested to learn more about Islam. May Allah SWT guide him. Ameen.
This is an early photo taken of us , founders of the Islamic Propagation Centre International which is now known as the Islamic Propagation Society International with Brother Haji Kamarudin Santanasamy Abdullah, a former Roman Catholic pastor wannabe running the centre today.
This is the minaret tower structure with its base which we turned into the fine Islamic Centre it is today minus the signboard for the building is gazetted as a National Monument and thus needs to be kept pristine and preserved for the future generations to come.
I was lucky to meet one of my closest friends and Ustaz, the current Imam of Masjid Kapitan Keling, Ustaz Haji Abdul Latif who is definitely getting skinnier by the day.
When I enquired as to whether it is due to any sickness , he replied in the negative.
Ustaz Latif said that maybe it is due to the fact that he has been fasting every other day for quite some time.
This is the magnificient 'mimbar' or pulpit of the Masjid Kapitan Keling from where the Khatib will read out his sermon to the congregation.
It has been like that ever since I was small and the whole structure looks absolutely well preserved and kept in good condition. Alhamdulillah!
The interior of the dome has been beautified and restored back to its original condition.
This is the picture that usually appears in many postcards all over the world showing the magnificient architecture of the mosque which is my topmost favourite place in my home island.
This is the sight that I saw every working day when I was with Berkat Jewellers , exactly opposite to the mosque at Pitt Street, now changed to Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling, 10200, Georgetown, Penang.
Another lovely shot of my favourite masjid. I never tire of admiring the masjid every second that I get !
I was happy to see this notice board which I authored the contents remaining there at the entrance of the mosque to this day.
Alhamdulillah. It sure brings back memories when I was day in day out at the IPCI with my buddies Kamaruddin and Yassin.
I was surprised to see the emergence of this sight. This 2 centuries over old cemetery had been hidden away in the old buildings which had been demolished to expose the old graves of the founding fathers of the Indian Muslim community in the times of Captain Sir Francis Light and the era of the Indian Muslim Kapitan Keling Cauder Mohideen, a business tycoon back then.
I hope that the present day Penangites will preserve such ancient relics well and take care of the heritage site.
Demolishing the past is easy but bringing it back is almost impossible, so, treasure our heritage before it is all gone.
I look forward to being in the comfort and tranquility of my beloved mosque next month.
Insya Allah. May my sanctuary be protected from falling into ruin by the administrative commitee and concerned Muslims of Penang. Ameen Ya Rabbal Alameen.
1st Day of Ramadan 1428 Hijrah.
Ramadan Mubarak to all Muslims!
Assalamualaikum Ya Mukminins Wal Mukminats!
Alhamdulillah. We are blessed once again to be alive during the advent of the holiest of months in the Islamic Calendar.
Ramadan al Mubarak is here once more. Those of us Muslims living here in Malaysia will start fasting tomorrow as announced by the Keeper of the Ruler's Seal yesterday.
I wish to congratulate those of you who have just embraced Islam and will be fasting for the first time in your life's as you have seen us do all these while.
Fasting is the 3rd pillar of Faith in Islam and it is compulsory on all those who are able to fast without endangering their selfs.
Fasting in Islam is unlike the practices of all other beliefs for in Islam, we do not drink even a sip of water or any other consumable liquid or food unlike some beliefs which allow the taking of water or light meals.
The manner of fasting in Islam or 'Sa'um' as it is referred to in Arabic is total abstaining from food and drinks, abstaining from ill speech, thoughts or deeds which will nullify one's fast.
Fasting also involves total abstaining of sexual contact between the husband and wife during the period of fast that is before the Fajr @ Subuh prayers and ends at Maghrib @ sunset prayers.
In between, a Muslim offers as much prayers to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and takes care of his total self by avoiding needless debates, discussions, arguments, strife, ill will, animosity, lecherous conduct, back biting, fights, or anything that goes against the teachings of our Faith.
A true Muslim looks forward to be in the holiest month of Ramadan for this is the month which is sort of the ultra super duper bonus payouts in terms of blessings for all good deeds and even positive wishes that one wills upon oneself and others.
The Excellence of Observing Saum (Fasts) during Ramadan
Allah, the Exalted, says:
"O you who believe! The fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become Al-Muttaqun (the pious).
(Fasting) for a fixed number of days, but if any of you is ill or on a journey, the same number (should be made up) from other days.
And as for those who can fast with difficulty, (e.g., an old man), they have (a choice either to fast or) to feed a Miskin (poor person) (for every day).
But whoever does good of his own accord, it is better for him. And that you fast is better for you if only you know.
The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Qur'an, a guidance for mankind and clear proofs for the guidance and the criterion (between right and wrong).
So whoever of you sights (the crescent on the first night of) the month (of Ramadan, i.e., is present at his home), he must fast that month, and whoever is ill or on a journey, the same number (of days which one did not fast must be made up) from other days.'' (2:183-185)
1215. Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said,
"Allah the Exalted and Majestic said: `Every act of the son of Adam is for him, except As-Siyam (the fasting) which is (exclusively) for Me, and I will reward him for it.'
Fasting is a shield. When anyone of you is observing fast, he should neither indulge in obscene language nor should he raise his voice; and if anyone reviles him or tries to quarrel with him, he should say: `I am fasting.'
By Him in Whose Hand the soul of Muhammad is, the breath of one observing Saum is sweeter to Allah than the fragrance of musk.
The one who fasts, experiences two joys: he feels pleasure when he breaks the fast.
He is joyful by virtue of his fast when he meets his Rubb.''
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
In a narration by Al-Bukhari, the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said,
"Allah says: `(The person observing Saum) has abstained from food and drink, and sexual pleasures for My sake; fasting is for Me, and I will bestow its reward. Every good deed has ten times its reward'.''
In a narration by Muslim, the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said,
"The reward of every (good) deed of a person is multiplied from ten to seven hundred times.
Allah (SWT) says: `The reward of observing Saum is different from the reward of other good deeds; Saum is for Me, and I Alone will give its reward. The person observing Saum abstains from food and drink only for My sake.'
The fasting person has two joyous occasions, one at the time of breaking his fast, and the other at the time of meeting his Rubb.
Surely, the breath of one observing Saum is better smelling to Allah than the fragrance of musk.''
Commentary: "Khuluf'', is the smell that comes from the mouth of person who observes Saum.
It results from the thirst and hunger which he has to suffer during the Saum.
The Hadith not only tells us the merits of Saum but also brings into focus the true significance of it.
Saum is not thus mere abstention from food, drink and sexual intercourse, but also keeping away from all evils and vices and embracing virtues.
1216. Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "He who spends a pair in the way of Allah will be called from the gates of Jannah: `O slave of Allah! This gate is better for you' and one who is constant in Salat (prayer), will be called from the Gate of Salat; and whoever is eager in fighting in the Cause of Allah, will be called from the Gate of Jihad; and who is regular in observing Saum will be called from Ar-Raiyan Gate.
The one who is generous in charity will be called from the Gate of Charity.''
Abu Bakr (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
"O Messenger of Allah (PBUH)! May my mother and father be sacrificed for you!
Those who are called from these gates will stand in need of nothing. Will anybody be called from all of those gates?''
He replied, "Yes, and I hope that you will be one of them.''
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Commentary:
"Pair'' means two; in other channels of transmission, it has been explained thus: "
They asked him, `Pair of what?' He (PBUH) said, `A pair of horses, cows or camels'.'' "Pair'' in this Hadith, however, can be all-inclusive; i.e., fasting two days or performing two prayers, etc.
This Hadith also mentions the special distinction of Abu Bakr As-Siddiq (May Allah be pleased with him) and the esteem in which he was held by the Prophet (PBUH).
It also transpires from this Hadith that one can praise such a person right on his face about whom one does not fear that it will make him proud.
This Hadith has also an inducement for giving in Sadaqah two instead of a single item.
1217. Sahl bin Sa`d (May Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (PBUH) said,
"In Jannah there is a gate which is called Ar-Raiyan through which only those who observe Saum (fasting) will enter on the Day of Resurrection.
None else will enter through it. It will be called out, "Where are those who observe fasting?''
So they will stand up and proceed towards it. When the last of them will have entered, the gate will be closed and then no one will enter through that gate.''
[Muslim].
Commentary: This Hadith tells us about the special distinction of those who observe Saum.
"Only those who observe Saum'' signify the faithful who not only observe Saum during the month of Ramadan but also frequently observe voluntary fasts over and above the obligatory ones, otherwise Saum of Ramadan are compulsory for every Muslim.
Similar is the case of the people of Salat, people of Sadaqah and people of Jihad, who have been mentioned in the preceding Ahadith otherwise all Muslims are on par so far as the Salat, Sadaqah, etc., are concerned.
1218. Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "Every slave of Allah who observes Saum (fasting) for one day for the sake of Allah, Allah will draw his face farther from Hell-fire to the extent of a distance to be covered in seventy years.''
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Commentary: "Every slave of Allah'' includes men, women, the free and the unfree, because they are slaves of Allah. The Hadith highlights the excellence of fasting for the sake of Allah which will serve, on the Day of Resurrection, as shield against Hell-fire.
1219. Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (PBUH) said, "He who observes fasting during the month of Ramadan with Faith while seeking its reward from Allah, will have his past sins forgiven.''
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Commentary: "Sins'' here means minor sins which relate to the Rights of Allah.
1220. Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "When Ramadan begins, the gates of Jannah are opened, the gates of Hell are closed, and the devils are chained.''
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Commentary: This is a special distinction of the month of Ramadan during which Muslims become more inclined towards the worship of Allah. They pay greater attention to the recitation of the Qur'an, remembrance of Allah, worship, and seeking pardon for sins.
1221. Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "Observe Saum (fast) on sighting the crescent and terminate it on sighting it (the new moon), but if the sky is cloudy before you, then complete the number (thirty days) of the month.''
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Commentary: The words "Ghabiya'', and "Ghumma'', both have the same meanings, namely clouded sky or sky overcast with clouds, as a result of which the moon is not visible.
In that case, the injunction is that thirty days of the month be completed.
If the moon of Ramadan is not sighted on the 29th Sha`ban, then its thirty days be completed and Ramadan's Saum be started on the next day.
Similarly, if the moon for the month of Shawwal is not sighted on the 29th of Ramadan, thirty days of Saum must be completed before celebrating `Eid-ul-Fitr.
This means that the sighting of the moon is necessary for keeping the Saum of Ramadan.
Counting by celestial system is not sufficient for this purpose. Moreover, the evidence of reliable witnesses for the crescent of Ramadan and the evidence of two dependable witnesses for the crescent of Shawwal are sufficient.
This amount of evidence will fulfill the requirement of sighting the moon.
Whether the sighting of the moon at one place is sufficient for another place is controversial and arguments of both the groups of `Ulama', who support and oppose it, are based on this Hadith.
The group which contend that the sighting of the moon at one place is valid for another holds that the words "Sumu" and "Aftiru" are addressed to all the Muslims, and for this reason the sighting at one place holds good for another place.
The group which holds that the sighting of the moon at one place is not enough for the Muslims of other localities contend that the words are addressed to the people who have actually sighted the moon.
The Muslims of the localities of other areas who have not sighted the moon are not addressed by these words.
They say that the sighting of the moon goes with each area according to which they will decide about starting of Saum and celebrating `Eid.
There is a third group also, which is of the opinion that for such areas which are in close proximity and do not have much difference in the timings of sunrise and sunset, the sighting of the moon at one place holds good for the other.
In any case, it is a moderate view, which can be implemented without fear of its being wrong. According to this view, at least in one country the sighting of the moon at one place holds good for all other areas.
Benefits of Fasting :
There are many benefits of fasting. Firstly, it can burn off excess and unnecessary fats from one's physical self, thereby making us become healthier and maybe ..hehehehe...a tad slimmer!
I for one would surely love that as I have had my paunch as long as I can remember. Anyway, it is good to fast so that we can experience how it must be for those poor folks who have little to eat and are hungry most of the time.
It will make the rich and wealthy realize that they too ought to be more prudent and generous at the same time in helping out their fellow man.
Fasting helps to also purify oneself from the needs and wants of the flesh and the ever rebellious spirit.
Fasting is beneficial to us body and soul and helps us to become closer to our Lord, Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
You can read more about the benefits of fasting here and here.
There are numerous sources online which explain in detail about all the benefits of fasting during Ramadan but in essence it is greatly beneficial in drawing us closer to one another as all Muslims, regardless of rank and title will be observing the Sa'um and are equal before Allah.
We feel gracious to one another and can relate to each other going through the fasting period as fellow Muslims and by experiencing similar hunger and observance of all the good conducts enjoined upon us all and going all out to do as much good to ourselves and others will see us turn out to be better Muslims than we were before, Insya Allah.
May Allah SWT bless us all with a productive, peaceful, glorious Ramadan and forgive us of our past sins and mistakes. Ameen.
Ramadan Mubarak to all Muslims, wherever you are!
Wassalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Ta'ala Wabarakatuh.
Malaysians ought to check the truth of mainstream news
I refer to the current manner by which the supposedly authoritative mainstream news are printed and sold to the general Malaysian public almost always paints the Opposition in a negative light and attempts to whitewash abuses and offenses committed by the authorities like the recent shooting of two civilians by an undercover FRU personnel at the BERSIH rally at Batu Buruk Beach, Kuala Terengganu.
The same whitewashing of the security forces violent assault against unarmed civilians is carried out simultaneously by the electronic and broadcasting media, who unabashedly accuse the Opposition Parti Islam seMalaysia of creating a situation of lawlessness and attempt to make the ruling BN Coalition Government of Malaysia look bad in the eyes of the world.
I think that's just a case of too little, too late as far as the infamy concerning the way things are run here in Bolehland is concerned.
There's just too many cases of abuses and corruption reeking from the way the BN has run the country since Merdeka.
The whole world knows who has done what and how yet because certain idiots in office imagine themselves to be the righteous ones and free from sin , the sickos live in a delusional world where they figure themselves to be the saviors of Malaysia but in actual fact are the very vicious demented criminal wolves in sheepskin, masquerading as the holy moly leaders of the nation.
Dementia works wonders when one is fed constant bullshit by those whose sole existence seems to apple polish their ways to a life full of temporary wealth and opulence.
One has just to read what trivial crap comes out of the mouths of those in question to know that there's just too much compost that one can stomach reading such propaganda that would put the infamous Minister of Information of Saddam Hussein's regime to shame!
Looks like our nation's version of that clown is hellbent on beating that stooge in that record!
We all know what takes place as a result of all the constant lying and conniving that such irresponsible felons in office go about with a certain level of schizophrenia that those chaps in Tanjong Rambutan will pale in comparison looking at the stage of ball carrying that takes place in Putrajaya.
Malaysians. Please use your commonsense in listening to, watching or reading what the 'mainstream mass media' dishes out to you so that you will be alert to their attempts to fool you with lies and untruths that is designed to keep the culprits in office for another term to enable them to continue their dictatorship in comfort whilst feeding peanuts to the populace.
I am not saying that you must swallow hook, line and sinker what the alternative media in the form of online news portals and blogs publish but at least now, you have a choice!
As level headed citizens, we must not be fooled to believe all the bullshit that the powers that be attempt to mesmerize us with and learn to see the real situation by comparing articles, reports and best of all, visual proof before coming to any conclusion as to who are the guilty ones and who are the true criminals?
See that the media can and they have in many cases before this and even as we speak, turned sinners into saints and vice versa by manipulating the truth and brainwashing the Malaysian public by their arrogant accusations and willful editing of the events reports and paint the Opposition to be what they aren't.
A cleverly edited and manipulated visual 'news clip' will show the audience what they want you to see and witness but if you are resourceful, you'd do better when you go to You Tube and see for yourselves uncut and unedited raw footage of what actually took place at any given place and incident.
Am I saying that the whole government apparatus is rotten to the core? Nope!
The government is made up of individuals just like you and me. Circumstances and vested interests especially when one holds executive positions in the ruling coalition will warrant the incumbent to do all that he or she can to hold on to power and go all out to demonise their challengers and opponents.
This is human nature. Even a primitive impulse one might say. Any being will try to ward off any attempts to take over one's abode and seat of power what more when it involves incomes that can go into the billions and millions of easy attainable money when being in those lucrative positions.
History shows us how certain tyrants will spare no quarter in getting rid of their enemies and opponents in any which manner they can and here in our nation, it is not that different.
We have now witnessed for the first time in our nation's history, a security personnel shooting live bullets into the civilian population as a result of a clandestine attempt to spark off a vicious cycle of violence and lay the blame on PAS, the BN's favorite scapegoat for all time.
They won't dare do that on the DAP as the DAP are mostly Chinese and any assaults against the Chinese will expose them to be racist chauvinistic swine like those critters in Paya Mengkuang, Melaka.
Compare the approach taken by the FRU in Melaka and the one in Batu Buruk.
See how the security forces didn't go all out to smash and break down the barricades and subdue or overcome the clearly arrogant and ready to fight Chinese illegal pig farmers and the manner by which they wouldn't waste a second in bulldozing and beating senseless the PAS supporters in Terengganu?
See for yourself how the DAP show the FRU that they are ready to kick ass and fight the authorities who don't dare to touch them ? One Chinese guy even swears expletives at the FRU and challenges them to cross over and shouts cuss words in Hokkien at them!
He's wearing the black T-shirt with the yellow 'C' logo ! Shouting 'Lai lah! Kan....( a vicious vulgar insult) challenging the FRU who don't do nothing to him?
Why don't they dare to touch him? Why the double standards ?
Are the PAS Malays inferior beings and can be bashed up black and blue whilst such open challenges by the illegal Chinese pig farmers openly defiant and challenging the FRU be allowed to get away with it?
What bloody hell kind of justice is this?
Damn!!!
They deserve to be insulted like that by the pig farmer! Looks like the pigs of Melaka fare so much more better than the PAS Malays of this nation!
The Melaka Chinese illegal pig farmers are so happy to see the tractors pull out and the FRU return with their tails between their legs as shown clearly in the Malaysiakini video above.
Sorry. No such kid gloves treatment for the PAS Malays. They have now been shot at with live ammo and can look forward to an early death at the hands of their fellow Malays but who happen to be stooges of the current airheads!
Last night, the Imam Besar of Islam Hadhari accused PAS of being the instigators of the Batu Buruk incident! Yes, it's PAS members who shoot people with live bullets, isn't it?
It is PAS members who desecrate masjids by shooting teargas into the House of Allah, isn't it?
It is PAS members who go about assaulting anyone who happens to be there with truncheons and kicks civilians bloody, isn't it?
Looking at such a travesty of justice against members of a Malaysian legally registered political party, I can't help but applaud that Chinese illegal pig farmer for the way he hurled those cuss words at the FRU!
He is a symbol of how the Melaka illegal pig farming Chinese fare so much better than the Malays who happen to be PAS members but now in hospital recovering from gunshots fired by their own kind!
Those of you Malaysian Chinese who keep complaining that the Malays are treated better than you all these while by the Be End, better slap yourselves awake that things aren't exactly rosy for all the Sons of the Earth as here they are shot by their own kind for no rhyme or reason other than that they support the Islamic Party of Malaysia @ PAS!
Fair, huh? Wake up lah taikor's! It's nothing personal just plain bloody screwed up Malaysian politics!
They don't give a shit about who they shoot as long as they obey orders from you know who?
Whether its a fellow Malay before them or a Chinese, Indian, Sikh, Orang Asli, Mat Salleh or whatever, they'll just blast you down like they did at Memali, Baling, Kedah before or have you Taikor's forgotten that massacre?
The recent events are more to do with trying to placate the Chinese voters and their influence if they had gone ahead and destroyed all those illegal pig sty's than a matter of ethnic based issue as all have always imagined!
It's power and politics. Period. The PAS Malays aren't a liability to them as far as they are concerned. It's all a matter of filing the case as self defense even though the victims brandished no weapons or put the shooter in mortal danger as being claimed by the Terengganu CPO!
Read here to learn that the FRU shooter was standing upright as he blasted away at the unarmed Malays of PAS!
Read here about how a Malaysian Indian shares his experience in witnessing agent provocateurs from the Special Branch instigate violence and then turn around and arrest Reformasi supporters way back then in 1999.
You guys know how it is here in Bolehland, so please all you Taikor's get your facts right before you swallow all the bullshit that the 'authoritative main media's shove down your throats or broadcast to your minds.
If you are a true Malaysian citizen concerned about all these crimes being perpetrated against your fellow citizens regardless of creed or color, then please, do not be fooled into believing all the crap that is published by the ass kissing mainstream mass deceiving media.
Compare between them and the free media and then decide as to who's spinning a yarn and who's publishing the truth. I guess, by now, you know which!
Be wise and choose properly as to whom you want to be your future leaders of Malaysia.
Malaysian Pre-General Election Safety Measures Tips.
All Malaysians of voting age and supporters of a free democracy in Bolehland take note.
As of the recent live firing of two PAS supporters by an undercover FRU policeman at the Batu Buruk, Kuala Terengganu BERSIH rally, it is now assumed that the Pre-General Election Program to stir unrest and the annual bash up of anti BN Government Malaysians is now in session.
Those of you who have the means are best advised to invest in a Kevlar body armor and don bulletproof vests and headgear if you intend to attend any Opposition events.
This warning comes a wee bit too late for implementation at the Maika Shareholders Meetup and is deeply regretted.
Those of you who are familiar with the ultra large sunglasses worn by the rich and infamous ala the late Altantuya's cousins are encouraged to don them when attending any forums or meetings because as seen at the Maika bash up, some attendees attempted to throw curry powder at the eyes of their opponents! So, those large Gucci type sunglasses might come handy in preventing any spicy mixture smarting your precious eyes.
For folks who were once rugby players and still have your groin guards, best deploy such armor to avoid getting kicked in the balls by our fully armored riot squad chaps in the FRU and try your best not to leave your head unprotected.
A serban might be okay but not really effective in cushioning the blows from a smashing baton of the men in red helmets.
Best be the fullface helmets but then again you'd soon pass out due to the extreme heat incurred should you be in an open air rally like the one at Batu Buruk.
The agent provocateurs seem to have received the all clear to use even live bullets against peaceful ceramah attendees so, all you diehard freedom seekers in the Opposition, best prepare your wills in case you end up being a number amongst the statistics in the next day's major kowtowing and news altering 'newspapers'.
Nominate your loved ones to be your EPF beneficiaries before attending any more rallies as it is going to be a major life and death situation.
As usual the 'Pembangkang' will be plastered as 'musuh negara' and portrayed as such by our squeaky clean , sin free angels in the current regime.
All of you who have the balls to stand up and fight for this country's future peace and security have the nation's respect and the undertakers admiration.
The time has come for the annual DAP hugging PAS top guns and vice versa under the pretext of camaraderie and back slappings whilst PKR will be the matchmakers once again.
All the cheek kissing and warm handshakes will last until the GE comes over and brushes through the flotsam generated by the anti BN taikors whilst the textile manufacturers especially in the batik and kain pelikat industry will be kept busy with the huge orders stockpiling by the cash stuffed BN coalition to be distributed to the pakciks and makciks who will swear to live and die by their chosen pemimpin rakyats!
Expect the mamak shops to be filled to the brim by the Gerak Gempur squads of UMNO, MIC and MCA!
Flag makers and party merchandise makers will have a swell day catering to all the power seekers.
For the first time in this nation's history, we have witnessed shooting of common citizens by the security personnel and this taking place under the governance of the most exemplary outstanding peaceful leader of the century in Malaysian soil and under the banners of Islam Hadhari. Wow! What an achievement?
Will this enter the Malaysian Book of Records?
PAS, DAP and PKR members. May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala protect you from your fellow Malaysians especially those packing the .38 Smith & Wesson or the other fine weapons that our boys in blue pack on duty or undercover.
As for the future of this country, it is up to all registered Malaysian voters who will decide who is going to run the government after this current taikors of the Be End who have had it their way since Independence Day in '57.
Do Malaysians have it in them to effect change? From the likes of those whom I have seen, hehehehehe...I will really be totally surprised if any such thing ever takes place on this soil!
Once again, do take all necessary life saving measures and precautions advised above for your own safety and wellbeing.
Cemerlang! Gemilang! Terbilang! Whoopee!!!
Rasa Sayang...eh rasa sayang sayang eh... eh lihat nana jatuh kena hentam FRU eh!
Rasa sayang ..eh rasa sayang sayang eh..eh lihat Ah Chong kena sembur , rasa sayang ,sayang eh..
What a feeling....Demo Crazy is alive and errr...but not so well eh!
My wellwishes to the chaps who got shot! May they live on to lead fruitful life's with their loved ones. Ameen.
Antara (BN) UMNO dan (BA) PAS. Sama sama terbabas!
Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Ta'ala Wabarakatuh.
Ini jawapan kepada saudara Convoy, seorang pemberi komen di-blog saya ini berkenaan soalannya kepada saya mengenai penentangan saya terhadap salahlaku kerajaan BN dibawah Abdullah Badawi dan ketidakgemaran saya terhadap beberapa kepincangan didalam parti pembangkang khususnya parti PAS yang saya menyokong secara asas tetapi ingin melihat perubahan dasar dan kaedah siasah mereka sesuai dengan tuntutan Allah SWT serta mengambil berat atas ukhuwah sesama Muslim dan yang belum Islam.
Saya adalah seorang Muslim yang tidak taksub kepada mana mana parti , jama'ah atau fahaman politik.
Saya tidak membenci sesebuah organisasi politik atau agama secara mutlak tetapi saya akan tentang habis habisan sesiapa yang ternyata melakukan perkara perkara salah didalam kerajaan, NGO dan juga pihak parti parti pembangkang.
Pengalaman hidup saya mengajar diri ini supaya berani kerana benar dan bertaubat jika sedar bersalah serta memohon maaf kepada pihak yang teraniaya dek kerana kesilapan sendiri.
Barisan Nasional sedang diterajui oleh pemuka pemuka yang derhaka kepada Allah SWT dan Rasul SAW.
Allah SWT memerintah sang pemerintah supaya tidak zalim terhadap hamba rakyat marhaen tetapi diMalaysia ini ternyata Kerajaan BN dibawah pimpinan Abdullah Badawi sedang menyemarakkan bidaah lawwamah dengan mempromosikan konsep Islam Hadhari yang terbukti disenangi pihak Kuffar seperti Bush yang suka umat Islam jadi pak turut kepada agenda mereka.
Umat Islam di tanahair sedang berhadapan dengan gejolak angkara salahlaku sosial dan keruntuhan akhlak serta moral yang amat dahsyat dewasa ini kerana kepimpinan lemah kerajaan yang mengaku mentadbir negara mengikut nilai nilai Islam yang dicairkan dan diubahsuai mengikut selera dan kehendak pemerintah terutamanya mengikut acuan parti UMNO. Maksiat merata rata.
Alam sekitar sedang nazak dek kehancuran oleh kealpaan manusia terutamanya tidak adanya penguatkuasaan undang undang Syariah keatas warganegara ini dan kemunculan konsep Islam Hadhari yang membelakangkan pelaksanaan undang undang Allah mengikut Al-Quran sejati dan Hadith hadith Nabi!
Islam di Malaysia hanya simbolik semata.
Zina dihukum bayar denda sahaja tidak disebat bagi yang bujang atau direjam bagi yang sudah bernikah tetapi bersetubuh haram dengan yang bukan mahram.
Rasuah dibiar berleluasa dan yang salah dicuci dosa dan dilepaskan dengan alasan teknikal dan sebagainya.
Sumbang mahram tertinggi dikalangan Melayu. Tua muda kecil besar tak kira. Janji sedap. Dosa pahala belakang kira. Aku Raja! Aku Tuan kepada tanah ini . Ikut suka akulah! Aku berkuasa!
Ada duit ada kuasa. Ada kuasa ; puas merasa! Dunia ini syorga bagi ku dan kroni kroniku! Ulamak? Shut up you! You talk too much, I sack you!
Aku kan pecat mana mana pihak yang berani menentang atau menegor aku!
Who the hell are you to tell me to be a good Muslim? You can go to hell, man!!!
Alah! Rilek lah brader! You tak geng lah! Kecoh lah lu....dan sebagainya istilah dan ungkapan akhir zaman ini.
Yang perempuan nak jadi jantan @ 'pengkid'. Yang laki laki berubah menjadi pondan atau 'mat lembut' @ Nyah! . Katanya 'ini naluri semulajadi I'.
'Auwww....I sayang u...u tak sayang I?' ...dan segala macam tok nenek menjadi budaya songsang dibawah pemerintahan Imam Besar Islam Hadhari.
Segala macam pesta itu ini dan konsert saban hari dan saban minggu dicanang dan dihidang oleh stesen stesen TV kerajaan seperti RTM dan stesen stesen swasta seperti Astro dan Media Prima yang merangkumi TV3, NTV7 dan sebagainya.
Gambar gambar hiasan berkaitan ihsan dari sini.
Dari kecil diasuh untuk berhibur sepanjang zaman.
Ibubapa dulu 'pantang keturunan aku kalau ada ahli muzik didalam 'pamili' aku!
Ibubapa sekarang amat berbangga jika anak menjadi penyanyi dan penghibur ! "Glamor you!"
Ini lah dunia Melayu sekarang. Penyanyi dan penghibur disanjung, dipuja dan dipuji.
Ahlul agama dipinggir, ditohmah serta dicaci! Dituduh sebagai 'perosak mood' dan sebagainya!
"Boleh jalan lah Tok Lebai! Menyibuk aje! Jaga kubur masing masing lah! Hishhh!!! You rosakkan program I lah! Boring betul!!!"
Islam main ikut ikutan. Ada dua keterlaluan didalam keadaan ini.
Ada yang terlalu ambil mudah tentang bab agama dan ada pula seolah terlalu ekstrim didalam penghayatan mereka sehingga buang dunia buang segala. Kurang sekali yang bersederhana didalam segala hal.
Umat Islam Malaysia terutamanya bangsa Melayu sedang tenat dihidapi wabak hiburan semasa yang amat berat.
Pagi petang, siang malam, 24jam , kepala otak Melayu Malaysia diserang virus virus hiburan dan mengisi setiap sel, setiap kromosom dan seluruh DNA diri diri mereka dari setiap strata masyarakat baik dari Orang Asli yang hidup di pinggiran hutan dan perkampongan serta perbandaran negara sehingga ke balairong seri istana istana kerabat Raja Raja dan Sultan Sultan Melayu!
Tidak ada seorang Melayu Malaysia yang tidak kenal siapa itu Siti Norhaliza atau Mawi serta segala macam penghibur, penyanyi, pelakon, pelawak, dramatis, pengacara, penerbit, pengarah, pengolah dan segala tok nenek dunia hiburan?
Ini hasil kerajaan BN yang diterajui para pemimpin yang mendabik dada, menghunus dan mencium keris Sang Saka Bangsa dan begitu begini serta tanpa rasa malu dan segan kepada Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala mengokok siang malam pagi petang dan senja bahawasanya Kerajaan Malaysia yang ada ini adalah sebuah kerajaan Islam progresif dan bergelar Kerajaan Islam Hadhari terbitan edisi pertama oleh Tok Imam Besar Abdullah Badawi, cicit seorang ulama, kata nya.
Hebat sungguh Imam Besar Islam Hadhari.
Ternyata rasa takjub kepada diri sendiri mengelabui mata dan segenap kepala otak sang pemerintah disebabkan adanya sebegitu ramai sekali hubaya hubaya dan pemukul canang serta gendang keling , mengampu, memuja dan memuji pemimpin terulung zaman ini menurut kepala otak mereka yang sedang sesat lagi amat menyesatkan umat Islam terlalu jauh menyimpang dari perintah Allahu Akbar dan garispanduan Sunnah warisan peninggalan Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam.
Ini hasilnya bilamana ulamak muktabar menjadi ulamak murtabak.
Asalkan periok nasi dan tembolok mereka terisi, mereka yang mengaku pewaris Nabi ternyata menjadi penderhaka kepada Allah dan Rasul bila mereka mendiamkan diri, memejamkan mata, memekakkan telinga dan mengaburi kepala otak masing masing semata mata takut kehilangan pangkat , harta dan kedudukan sementara ini jika mereka membuka mulut, berdiri membantah, menegah kemungkaran depan mata serta turun menginjak bumi yang nyata tegas dan tegak melaksana apa yang dituntut Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala!
Masaalah ini bukan berkisar sekeliling parti pemerintah sahaja!
Turut bersalah serta bertanggungjawab adalah parti yang mengaku parti Islam tetapi gagal didalam pendekatan secara tepat dan bersesuaian dengan tuntutan Dakwah al-Islamiyah menurut acuan contoh Nabi Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam bilamana ulamak pembangkang didalam PAS tidak melaksanakan apa yang teramat asas iaitu melaksanakan Islam secara amali.
Duduk berdiri diatas pentas ceramah dan memaki hamun manusia bukan cara berdakwah yang tepat!
Mengata orang begitu begini bukan contoh akhlak terpuji malahan ianya cuma bagaikan api didalam sekam, meredap membara , membakar jiwa jiwa yang asalnya rapat kepada golongan yang kononnya mencari keredhaan Ilahi namun nampaknya hanya seperti puak yang rajin berkelahi!
Tawadhuk dan sifat rendah diri terbukti bagaikan fatamorgana yang hilang pabila disinar mentari. Yang tinggal hanya ego dan nafsu jahat mendabik dada serta meninggi diri!
Akulah yang alim. Akulah yang Muslim sejati. Yang lain semua Kaffir tak sadar diri. Haram jadah! Manusia keparat! Tak boleh dibuat kawan.
Kita kena tentang habis habisan...dan seribu satu macam rasa benci dan sombong diri berkubang didalam kerangka batang tubuh yang berkopiah serta berpakaian seolah pewaris Nabi namun cuma luaran , kulit palsu yang agak keliru tentang mana yang betul dan mana yang samdol?
Penyakit serupa ada dikedua dua pihak. Baik UMNO ataupun PAS!
Masing masing membenci pihak bertentangan dengan rasa meluat, tak boleh duduk semeja dan sebumbung apatah lagi menghulur salam ukhuwah Islami kerana disaji setiap hari dengan bingkisan bingkisan kabar angin dan fitnah bermusim yang tidak sunyi dari ditiup, dihembus oleh media cetak dan elektronik.
Ini lah sebabnya kekadang Mahaguru58 nampak membidas kerajaan sekejap kemudian membelasah para ulamak didalam pihak PAS pula kerana masing masing gagal membuka jalan, membina jambatan, membuang yang keruh, mengambil yang jernih dan bersatu menentang kemungkaran yang sedang merebak disegenap lapisan masyarakat!
Dua dua pihak bersalah didalam membiarkan kemelut ini terus bersimpul, membelit, menyesakkan nafas dan menyesatkan setiap anggota masyarakat tanpa mengira kaum dan fahaman.
Orang orang bukan Melayu dan bukan Islam pun ada prinsip prinsip kebaikan yang dipegang dan di amalkan oleh mereka mengikut fahaman fahaman mereka dan kadangkala terbukti mereka yang kita panggil Kaffir lebih prihatin dan bersikap dan bersifat mulia tertinggal cuma asas kepercayaan mereka kepada yang lain dari Allah, Tuhan Sebenar, Maha Pencipta kita semua.
Kedua dua pihak didalam UMNO dan PAS serta badan badan Islam yang lain adalah dipertanggungjawabkan didalam pembiaran umat Islam diMalaysia ini hanyut dibawa gelombang dunia hiburan yang melekakan manusia sejagat setiap saat setiap waktu jauh hanyut dari mengabdikan diri dan keluarga kepada Yang Satu!
Ini yang Mahaguru58 amat terasa sakit dan sedih hati memikirkan macamana cara hendak aku sebagai seorang 'Da'ee' mengajak keseluruh anggota masyarakat Islam di tanahair tercinta ini kembali bertaut bagaikan kiambang, merapati jurang kefahaman politik yang sempit ini kembali kepada penyatuan Ummah, merealisasikan impian Rasulullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam sedaya mungkin selagi masih ada ruang dan kelapangan usia didalam saki baki jangka waktu kehidupan didunia sementara ini.
Itu saja. Tidak ada perkara yang lebih utama bagiku melainkan melihat Melayu bersatu, Muslim berjaya dan Kaffir bershahadah setelah segala penerangan disampaikan kepada mereka secara berhemah dan berhikmah menurut tuntutan Al-Mustafa, Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam.
Gambar hiasan dari sini.
Berusaha mencari kelebihan dunia sesuai dengan keperluan diri dan keluarga selagi mampu dan bantu membantu didalam perkara kebajikan dan bersatu mencegah dan menentang kemungkaran tak kira didalam kerajaan ataupun pembangkang.
Namun, Umat Islam harus waspada terhadap ajaran ajaran dan fahaman fahaman sesat yang semakin bersemarak sekarang ini. Ikutilah Islam yang mutlak dan jangan terpedaya dengan doktrin dari pemuka pemuka bertopengkan agama.
Inilah matlamat perjuangan dan penulisan Mahaguru58. Tak lebih dan tak kurang dari itu.
Membangkang bukan kerana benci tetapi kerana sayang kepada semua dan bersyukur dengan apa yang dikurniakan Allah SWT dari segi kefahaman tentang duniawi dan akhirat sesuai dengan kemampuan diri insan yang bernama Zainol Abideen ini.
Daku bukan Malaikat, maksum dari dosa dan noda namun daku tidaklah pula gemar nak menjadi Setan Laknatullah.
Setiap manusia ada Alam Kejahilan dan Alam Kesedaran masing masing. Terpulang kepada kita hendak menuju Keredhaan Allah atau Kesukaan Setan.
Pilihlah yang sesuai. Insya Allah. Semoga saudara dan para pembaca yang lain sedar tentang betapa pentingnya kita kembali kepada ajaran Islam sebenar dari Allah SWT dan Rasulullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam dan tidak tersasar dari Islam, Ad Deen ul Haqq!
Katakanlah kepada semua. Islam itu hak setiap manusia dan sampaikan lah kepada mereka kebenaran Islam ini secara mudah dan laksanakan lah perintah Allah SWT dan anjuran Nabi!
Semoga hasrat dan impian ku tertunai sebelum kukembali ke Rahmat Allah. Amin Ya Rahman. Amin Ya Rahim. Semoga di ampunkan sekelian dosa dosa ku dan kedua ibubapaku serta anak isteri tercintaku dan sesama Mukmin dengan ku.Insya Allah.
Wabillahi Taufik Wal Hidayah. Wassalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Ta'ala Wabarakatuh.
Mahaguru58.
Peluru hidup untuk warga PAS, Babi Melaka masih hidup bebas
Begitulah lumrah dunia zaman sekarang! Cemerlang, Gemilang, Terbilang!
Manusia manusia penyokong Parti Politik Pembangkang yang berkumpul di Pantai Batu Buruk, Kuala Terengganu untuk mendengar ceramah dibelasah dan ditembak terus parah tercedera dek dibedil peluru hidup anggota Pasukan Simpanan Persekutuan atau nama glamor mereka FRU manakala beratus ribu ekor Babi Babi Melaka hidup riang bergumbira dan bertemasya di tanah Melaka, Bandaraya Bersejarah!
Betapa terpusing dan terpesongnya nilai nilai 'kemanusiaan' yang diamalkan oleh Polis DiRaja Malaysia didalam menangani orang awam, rakyat marhaen negara ini berbanding dengan haiwan seperti babi babi Melaka yang mencemari tanahair ini sejak 50 tahun selama ini, busuk, hanyir, memusnahkan alam sekitar sekelian penghuni bumi Melaka terutama dikawasan terlibat.
Babi babi Melaka tentu mendengus keriangan mendengar khabar bahawa pasukan FRU teramat 'Mesra, Cekap dan Tepat' didalam menangani masaalah keujudan sekelian spesis sesama mereka berbanding dengan betapa keras dan ganas layanan FRU terhadap spesis kaum manusia Melayu Bumiputera sesama agama dengan penembak FRU itu di Pantai Batu Buruk. Kuala Terengganu, baru baru ini!
Jika sekiranya boleh menari cha cha cha , sudah pasti Babi Babi Melaka akan berdansa, bersamba dengan ria meraikan berita gempak ini bahawa di bumi Malaysia ini, babi babi seperti spesis di Melaka ternyata amat tinggi darjat dan kedudukan mereka berbanding dengan spesis manusia berketurunan Melayu Bumiputera Muslim tetapi penyokong Parti Islam seMalaysia dan yang sewaktu dengan nya!
Amat mengharukan sekali! Presiden Kesatuan Babi Babi Melaka pasti akan mengutus surat, mengucapkan tahniah kepada petugas FRU tersebut kerana lebihkan spesis mereka dari warganegara bumi Malaysia ini sendiri bilamana sanggup menembak dengan peluru hidup saudara seagama nya!
Tahniah! Dibawah panji panji berkhidmat untuk negara, ternyata Babi babi Melaka terselamat dari pemusnahan terancang sebaliknya yang akan mati dibedil FRU adalah anggota anggota Parti parti Pembangkang Negara Tercinta Malaysia Merdeka!
Merdeka! Merdeka ! Merdeka!....errr...untuk Babi babi Melaka!
Untuk Bumiputera Terengganu penyokong PAS, PKR atau DAP, minta maaf le...anda semua belum pasti selamat!
Majulah Babi Melaka untuk ...siapa? Fikir fikir sendiri aaa.....
Nang buti nang...kui buti kui....trukk cheng! Apa kejadahnya dok berlaku kat negara aku ini?
Malaccan Pigs Fare better than Opposition Parties
I guess that one can say that the Malaccan illegal pigsty's and their owners fare so much more better than the Malaysian Opposition parties when it comes to being treated differently by the Malaysian Police Force which acts under the orders of the ruling party of UMNO and its coalition of 'yes' men and women of the Barisan Nasional!
Why do I say that?
Well, one has just to compare the 'kid gloves' treatment which the PDRM meted out to the obstinate and aggressively violent manner by which the Malaccan Chinese illegal pigsty owners barricaded themselves and smashed against the FRU shields with their pig cages and the clearly violent offensive manner by which the FRU smashed the gathered Malaysian Opposition party members who were at Batu Buruk Beach, Kuala Terengganu to attend a BERSIH rally by their leaders?
The BN controlled mass media conveniently portrayed the opposition party members as rioters and in the process where an FRU member shot two Malays who were PAS members with live bullets in the confrontation! Read about it in detail here.
Talk about the Malaccan pigs getting preferential treatment from the FRU!
Well, as the General Election draws nearer, you can be guaranteed that this time around, the violence and bloodshed that we all saw took place at the Ijok by-election will pale in comparison to what the BN has planned in the carrying out of their 'Gerak Gempur' battleplans!
Opposition party members better be prepared to suffer broken limbs and bloodshed this time around for as the general Malaysian population get more uncensored feedback and news input from the internet and blogs, the resentment and uneasiness of the ruling party leadership is getting more intense and they are paranoid in gripping on to their seats of power by all means possible even if it means risking life's and inflict as much damage to the Opposition as they can!
I can safely say that the ruling BN will spare no quarters in unleashing all that they have within their means and influence to break the Opposition down even by brute force by looking at how they manipulated the recent by-elections which saw the Opposition bloodied and bruised by the awesome government machinery which the BN abused without second thoughts!
The BN has become so ruthless over the years due to the Malaysian population apathy towards standing up for their rights to have an accountable government.
Malaysians are the most docile beings on the planet. They always tend to look the other way when they see any injustice take place before them save for the Bloggers and Opposition party members!
The majority of dissenting citizens are the Opposition's silent supporters who just don't dare to risk their life's and limbs for the sake of fighting for a true democracy. As long as they remain so, things won't ever change here in Malaysia.
I am not calling for any uprisings on the streets but rather asking for people to be more vocal in their sharing of news and views online so that the ones abusing our trust know that they can't keep on terrorizing common citizens into submission.
We have a choice of voting in a rightful government at the polls. Use that choice to effect change!
Many just dare to remain anonymous when speaking or commenting in blogs and online forums for fear of retribution from the powers that be save for those of us bloggers who don't wish to remain quiet about the way things are taking place here in Malaysia.
For all the 'Malaysia Truly Asia' propaganda that the ass kissing ministries put out and try to fool the world, reality crops up every now and then like the recent skirmish in Terengganu!
The recent Budget 2008 has been announced in a way to sweeten the hearts and minds of all those fence sitters and apathetic Malaysian voters so that the BN can get away with another 5 year term of rampaging through the assets and resources of this nation.
For someone who put up the act of being Mr.Clean and looking for 'Al-Ghazali', the current airhead Prime 'leader' has not delivered what he had promised us all ; ' a clean transparent government that will get rid of all the guilty corrupt persons in power'.
Instead we have seen many prominent 'sharks' escape the dragnet and swim about unhindered in the oceans of Malaysian government buffoonery masquerading as the 'Cemerlang, Gemilang, Terbilang' bullshitters of all time!
The Klang illegal palace of Datuk Zakaria still stands. He has had all the corruption charges against him dropped due to 'technicalities', Eric Chia has been 'cleared' and deemed 'sin free', the former Director-General of the anti Corruption Agency has been 'whitewashed' as being a 'saint' and also the current Inspector General of Police has had his self pronounced 'squeaky clean' as a police whistle by the Attorney General who has the power to condemn or release anyone here in Malaysia.
Mind you, even the Supreme King of Malaysia is not above the law here as the AG can if he so wants to, to take the YDP Agong to the Special Court if His Royal Highness errs in any way.
Such are the powers of the commoners who in actual practice rule over us all in the form of the rhetoric spewing 'Islam Hadhari' conjurer current Malaysian Prime Minister and the Attorney General and their 'Yes Sir, yes sir' kowtowing team of cabinet ministers.
Woe betide anyone who dares to go against the grain here in this nation.
Sothinathan found out how things are when one tries to stand up for one's principles. Kayveas and Ong Tee Keat found out when they too stood by their principles. Shahrir Samad saw himself having to quit being the Barisan Backbenchers Chairman when he too tried to be true to his calling.
Practically, in the BN, there is no room for any show of dissension. You can't question the top leadership even when you know that they are wrong or have done nothing to stop the rot!
You want to stay in office? You must kiss the hand of the PM whenever you are in his presence and you must not object to anything! You are safe if you practice good kowtowing and the more you praise him, the higher the chances of you getting a raise soon, in any which way they deem it fit for your level of showing obeisance to the 'Supreme Leader' in the Prime Minister's Department.
The current expose of how the Ministries inflate and 'pay out' contracts and tenders many many times more than the actual value and costs of supplies and services rendered to them shows just the tip of the iceberg so to speak where many in government get fat from their ill gotten gains whilst the public get calls from them to exercise prudence and live within their means and be grateful to the Barisan Nasional for allowing them to live and exist!
'U Must Not Object!' is the order of the day!
I knew that PAS will get clobbered for flying so many of their party flags along the roads leading to and fro Rusila when I travelled to Terengganu the other day!
Guess, PAS forgot that power doesn't come to those who fly as many flags as they want but that they must learn to capture the hearts and minds of the common folks and build up a steady and close relationship with the ordinary pakcik, makcik or abang and adiks there in Terengganu and the the rest of the nation!
Spending so much money on giant and egoistic flags just serves to drive away the silent supporting majority of Malaysians who want to see a better , rational, just and accountable government!
To me, PAS screwed up royally in terms of PR with the Malaysian people by forgetting the cardinal rule of camaraderie with the average Malaysian instead of festooning the roads and masjid's with party flags!
A masjid must not be made into a one party establishment. It doesn't matter if PAS built the masjid with their own funds. A masjid must remain neutral.
Diehard blinkered individuals will say that as PAS built that masjid in Rusila they deserve to do what they please with the building but to me that's wrong!
A masjid must be accorded its rightful place as a House of Prayer to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and everyone is entitled to visit and pray in the mosque to Allah without any feeling of being discriminated against by its administrators.
UMNO and PAS. Two egoistic giant Malay political parties who seem to want to carry on with their 'Cold War's till Doomsday.
The Malaysian nation will see just how obstinate both these parties are when comes Election time.
PAS,DAP,PKR and all the NGO's and Bloggers can rant and rave here online but in reality the powers that be can simply bulldoze us all away as they please and character assassinate us as rioters and treasoners as they wish in 'pooh pooh'ing away any opposition to their iron fisted policies of cronyism and nepotism that is running rampant in government.
As for now, the Malaccan pigs and their illegal owners can snort around unmolested whilst the Terengganu PAS Opposition party members in custody and the two gunshot victims of the FRU in the ICU can be assured that there's more pain coming their way from UMNO and the PDRM courtesy of the powers that be!
From the looks of things, the Malaccan pigs are truly being treated as kings! Rhymes well, eh?
Excellent write up on the tragedy here.
Bajet 2008 dan Masa Depan Rakyat dan Raja Raja Melayu
Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
Pertama sekali saya ingin ucapkan tahniah kepada Kerajaan Malaysia yang menjanjikan peruntukan yang boleh dikatakan baik dan berpatutan terutamanya pemansuhan yuran yuran persekolahan dan janji kerajaan untuk memberikan buku teks percuma kepada seluruh pelajar pelajar sekolah dan Institut Pendidikan Awam negara.
Benda baik harus kita puji dan hargai dari mana mana pihak apalagi dari kerajaan yang berkuasa keatas negara kita ini.
Rakyat Malaysia memang berhak diberikan bantuan dan peruntukan peruntukan dari Perbendaharaan Kerajaan sesuai dengan tuntutan Islam dan prinsip kerajaan dari rakyat untuk rakyat.
Negara kita tidak miskin dari segi khazah bumi anugerah Ilahi dan sesiapa sahaja yang berkuasa keatas rakyat negara ini bertanggungjawab mengagihkan hasil bumi negara ini dan juga dari seluruh sumber pendapatan kerajaan sama rata dan saksama kepada anak watan dan pribumi yang lahir ditanah air tercinta.
Negara kita Malaysia adalah istimewa dari segi mempunyai warganegara berbilang kaum dan agama.
Dari segi itu, memang boleh dikira kita ini agak ganjil di-zaman ini dimana rata rata pelbagai negara di dunia ini berperang sesama sendiri dan perbalahan kaum tercetus disini sana mengakibatkan pembunuhan rakyat yang tidak berdosa hanya kerana berlainan warna kulit dan pegangan agama.
Memang tak dapat dinafikan bahawa didalam kehidupan ini, setiap penduduk bumi akan berpegang kuat kepada adat dan resam turun temurun bangsa dan kaum mereka apatah lagi bila soal agama disentuh atau diperlecehkan oleh sesiapa yang lain terutamanya musuh yang nyata!
Rakyat Malaysia hari ini perlu sedar tentang semua ini dan tidak terbawa bawa melayan perasaan akibat provokasi dari segelintir masyarakat negara ini yang lupa bahawa kita hidup disamping pelbagai kaum dan penganut penganut agama berbeza.
Didalam detik detik yang berlalu baru baru ini, ada usaha untuk membakar api perkauman diantara kita oleh mereka yang berkepentingan atau tidak waras bahawa sekiranya tercetus pertelingkahan diantara kaum dan terbawa sampai penumpahan darah akibat pergaduhan dikalangan masyarakat Malaysia, penghasut penghasut itu sendiri akan turut terjejas keselamatan nyawa mereka dan keluarga sendiri!
Kerajaan Malaysia sekarang seolah lemah dari segi penguatkuasaan undang undang yang sedia ada dan terbukti didalam kes kegagalan menangani isu ladang haram penternakan babi di Melaka.
Dari segi pandangan masyarakat Melayu Muslim, kerajaan ini agak cepat bertindak memusnahkan mana mana surau atau masjid yang dibina oleh pihak parti pembangkang seperti PAS namun agak lemah dan lembap didalam kes ladang haram penternakan babi di Melaka.
Kita faham bahawa kerajaan takut dicap sebagai anti kaum Cina namun Mahaguru58 rasa kebanyakan masyarakat Cina dinegara ini yang sedar akan kesalahan yang telah dilakukan oleh penternak haram babi Melaka itu sudah keterlaluan dan patut di tangani dengan tegas.
Pencemaran akibat pembuangan najis dan sisa sisa dari ladang ladang haram tersebut tanpa dikawal dan dirawat sebelum disalurkan ke sistem perairan negeri Melaka telah menghancurkan ekologi bumi Melaka terutama dikawasan kawasan terlibat selama 50 tahun lebih.
Ini tidak adil kepada penduduk berdekatan kerana terpaksa hidup didalam keadaan dan suasana teramat busuk akibat pencemaran dari ladang ladang haram babi tersebut.
Kalau beberapa ekor babi sahaja sudah cukup untuk membusukkan sesuatu kawasan akibat keperitan bau dari sisa sisa binatang tersebut, cuba bayangkan betapa teruknya penderitaan penduduk penduduk Melaka yang dicemari kehadiran beratus ribu ekor babi yang diternak tanpa izin Jabatan jabatan kerajaan berkenaan dan tidak di ambil tindakan tegas selama ini oelh Kerajaan Melaka selama 5 dekad?
Ketua Menteri dan Yang di-Pertua Negeri hidup mewah selesa diatas bukit didalam istana istana mereka dan tidak terjejas langsung kerana jauh dari ladang ladang haram babi tersebut!
Mana perginya tanggungjawab mereka terhadap pribumi Melaka yang semakin tersiksa hidup mereka selama ini , hidup merana didalam persekitaran yang teramat tidak selesa terutamanya di sekitar DUN Kuala Linggi dan tempat tempat lain yang terjejas?
Halal kah pendapatan mereka ini yang gagal menangani masaalah rakyat yang menjadi tanggungjawab mereka sebagai pemerintah dan penguasa keatas bumi Melaka?
Tidak terasakah mereka ini yang cuai serta dayus menegakkan kedaulatan undang undang baik undang undang Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala atau ciptaan manusia sendiri?
Apa gunanya menjunjung Al-Qur'an ketika mengangkat sumpah menerima pertugasan yang diberi?
Apa gunanya bersumpah setia terhadap Raja dan Negara bilamana gagal melaksanakan tugas dan tanggungjawab tersebut sekian lama ini?
Apa faedahnya bergelar begitu begini bilamana lalai mencegah kemusnahan alam sekitar yang merupakan amanah yang teramat besar terhadap sesama makhluk dan isi bumi ini bila gagal menangani segala macam permasa'alan warganegara dibawah naungan kuasa sementara mereka selagi masih hidup menempuh detik detik waktu ini?
Sesak nafas warga bumi Melaka hari ini dek kerana kegagalan Ketua Menteri dan YDP Negeri Melaka Bersejarah yang pernah menjadi simbol kejayaan Kerajaan Kesultanan Melayu Melaka beberpa kurun dahulu?
Beralih pula kepada soal Kerajaan Malaysia semasa ini yang nampak seolah ingin menandingi pemerintah sebelum ini didalam usaha meminggirkan Kesultanan Melayu dari berperanan sepatutnya didalam urusan urusan negara.
Ucapan ucapan berbaur derhaka terhadap Sultan-Sultan dan Raja Melayu sering tercetus dari mulut menteri menteri kerajaan pimpinan Abdullah Badawi yang jelas menampakkan ketidak akuran para menteri berkenaan terhadap Kedaulatan Institusi Kesultanan Melayu.
Apa gunanya ada Kesultanan Melayu yang di cabut taring kekuasaan Duli -Duli Tuanku dan hanya sebagai Raja Berperlembagaan?
Mana mungkin seorang hamba rakyat seperti seorang Perdana Menteri dilebihkan kuasa dan melampaui Kedaulatan seorang Sultan Berdaulat dan Bersemayam di Istana?
Apakah begini sikap seorang Melayu terhadap Sultan nya?
Kemana perginya sifat dan sikap hormat terhadap Sultan-Sultan Melayu yang merupakan lambang kedaulatan bangsa Melayu di arena dunia antarabangsa?
Kenapa tidak tampil orang orang Melayu yang sayangkan adat resam dan budaya bangsa membantah keceluparan sang menteri dan pengampu Perdana Menteri yang lupa kepada sumpah setianya kepada Duli Yang Maha Mulia Tuanku Yang di-Pertuan Agong semasa mengambil alih tugas dari mamanda Perdana Menteri terdahulu?
Mahaguru58 tahu bahawa apa yang diperlakukan Tun Dr.Mahathir Mohamad semasa mencabut kuasa mutlak dan kekebalan Raja Raja dan Sultan Sultan Melayu bertitik tolak dari kekejaman Sultan Johor yang membelasah seorang jurulatih hoki dahulu dan tindak tanduk Sultan Kelantan melarikan kereta mewah dari gudang Kastam diRaja tanpa membayar cukai keatas kenderaan tersebut dan beberapa kejadian berkaitan kerabat di raja beberapa negeri negeri di Semenanjung.
'Raja Adil Raja di sembah ; Raja Zalim Raja di sanggah' begitu ungkapan bersejarah tentang perlunya Sultan Sultan dan Raja Melayu mengambil kira dan bertindak mengikut lunas lunas kemanusiaan serta adil dan saksama terhadap hamba rakyat negeri dibawah pemerintahan Baginda Tuanku sekelian.
Insya Allah, Mahaguru58 akan menulis lebih lanjut tentang perkara ini. Selamat beristirehat!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I am not interested to delve deep into the nitty gritty of legal definitions concocted by fellow human beings who tend to complicate matters and make a mountain out of a molehill in terms of jurisprudence and governmental rulings.

I prefer to keep things simple just as Almighty Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala commands us to live by.

The recent developments in our country is bloody irritating and creates a situation of uncertainty as to who is our King and who is the true ruler of Malaysia per se?

The idea of putting up a pretext of having a Constitutional Monarchy and then curtailing the rights and the powers of their Majesties, the Malay Sultans is a sham and an insult to their Royal Selfs.

I don't give a hoot about other nations or countries. This is my nation and I am quite content with paying allegiance to my Yang di-Pertuan Agong and all the Malay Sultans befitting their majesty.

I don't give a hoot to all the other self elevating pretenders who puff themselves up with all kinds of dubious titles and grand honorifics.

That's why I choose to address them by just their names as to me I choose to whom I pay my respects to and whom to just accept as a fellow common being, that's my stand and my right of choice.

Apart from Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam, the only other beings worth my respect are our Majesties, the Malay Sultans ...if Their Majesties conduct themselves in a manner befitting their Royal Selfs.

I am somewhat pissed off at seeing how the current airheads in government are trying to upstage the position of our Royal Sultans especially when I read about how Nazri Aziz says that the PM is not bound to listen to the advice by His Royal Highness the Yang Di-pertuan Agong, the Supreme king of Malaysia!

Will that refusal to listen to the Supreme King of Malaysia not be an act of treason?

Is that not an act called 'menderhaka kepada Duli Yang Maha Mulia, Yang di-Pertuan Agong'?

What a load of hogwash is this?

Here we have, only in Malaysia, a situation where the Royal Majesties are reduced to being just 'poster boys' and common sleepy airheads who got catapulted into a position of being a prime minister' get to rule over the Malay Sultans!

Imagine the audacity of these common subjects who kneeled and kissed the hands of their Majesties, the Sultans of the Malay States for their awards and temporary positions as ministers of this and that , get big headed and forget as to who is the subject and who is their Sultan or in this case the Yang di-Pertuan Agong?

What bloody hell kind of nonsense is this?

What bullshit kind of 'Setia kepada Raja dan Negara' are these idiots practicing?

What idiotic interpretation of 'Ketuanan Melayu' are these numbskulls talking about?

No wonder that this nation with all its pretensions of being a developing country explodes millions of ringgits worth of fireworks into the sky and plans on sending an astronaut into space comes across as the proverbial cockerel which crows and crows itself hoarse yet reeks with shit from its rear end with antics like these from the clowns we have masquerading as the government of this country!

The nation has been held to ransom by the idiots we have badmouthing us the citizens at every given opportunity and now they are being 'kurang ajar' to our Royal Majesties!

I wonder what else is the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin and the Conference of Rulers waiting for before Their Majesties decide that enough is enough and that it is high time to teach these ingrates a serious lesson and put Malaysia back on track towards a more reasonable state , fair to every subject of this country, regardless of race or religion?

Here is the excerpt of the news report from The Sun2Surf online newspaper.

Nazri: PM not bound by advice of Conference of Rulers
B Suresh Ram

KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 6, 2007): The prime minister is not bound by the advice of the Conference of Rulers (COR) on the appointment of judges, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Nazri Abdul Aziz says.

"It is merely an advice from the rulers which could be taken into account by the prime minister," he said in a written reply to a question from Karpal Singh (DAP-Bukit Gelugor) in the Dewan Rakyat (Parliament) today.

The DAP chairman asked whether the COR's suggestion on the appointment of judges had to be accepted and applied by the government without any question or whether the suggestions were merely advisory.

Nazri said in accordance with Article 122B(1) of the Federal Constitution, the Chief Justice of the Federal Court, President of the Court of Appeal, Chief Judge of Malaya and other judges of the Federal Court, Court of Appeal and High Court will be appointed by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong in accordance with the advice of the prime minister after consulting the COR.

“The principle of Article 122B(1) of the Federal Constitution is that the Yang di-Pertuan Agong should act in accordance with the advice of the prime pinister,” he said.

"In the event the COR is not agreeable or delay the prime minister’s suggestion in the appointment of a judge, the prime minister has the right to request the appointment of his proposed candidate.

“This is because according to Article 40(1A) of the Federal Constitution, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong is tied to the choice of the prime minister,” he said.

Nazri said the principle in question had been explained by the Court of Appeal in the case of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim v PP (2000) 2 CLJ 570, which states as follows:

“To ‘consult’ does not mean to ‘consent’. The Federal Constitution uses the words ‘consent’ and ‘consult’ separately. For example, the word ‘consent’ is used in Article 159(5) of the Constitution, which states that the amendments to certain provisions of the Constitution cannot be passed by Parliament without the ‘consent’ of the COR.

"The Black’s Law Dictionary provides for the meaning of the word ‘consent’: Agreement, approval or permission as to some act or purpose especially given voluntarily by a competent person.

"So in the matter of the appointment of judges, when the Yang di-Pertuan Agong consults the COR, he does not seek its ‘consent.’ He merely consults so when the COR gives its advice, opinion or views, the question is, is the Yang di-Pertuan Agong bound to accept?

"Clearly he is not. He may consider the advice or opinion given but he is not bound by it. But Article 40(1A) of the Constitution provides specifically as to whose advice the Yang di-Pertuan Agong must act upon.

"Clearly, therefore, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong must act upon the advice of the prime minister. The advice is envisaged by Article 40(1A) is the direct advice given by the recommender and not advice obtained after consultation.

"So in the contest of Article 122B(1) of the Constitution, where the prime minister has advised that a person be appointed a judge, legally the prime minister can insist that the appointment be proceeded with …," he added.

Melaka ditimpa malapetaka! DAP dan PKR membela penternak haram babi disana!

Bukan main seronok pencinta pencinta Babi Melaka apabila FRU terkucil tak berani berdepan dengan penternak penternak ladang atau kandang kandang babi haram disana!

Kelihatan pemimpin pemimpin ulung Parti Tindakan Demokratik @ DAP menyeringai teramat gumbira mendokong anak babi sebagai sokongan terbuka mereka diatas keujudan ladang ladang babi haram dinegeri bekas Kesultanan Melayu Melaka!

Membangkang membuta tuli teramat buruk natijahnya!

Dah pening kepala otak ke apa dok sedut bau sisa sisa babi tu? Entah lah !
