Part of the Do'a Iftitah

"Verily my solats, my ibadah, my life and my death I surrender to Almighty Allah, Creator and Lord of all the worlds. Never will I associate anything with Him. So am I commanded and I am of those who are Muslims."

Surah An Nahl (Chapter 16 Verse 125) Holy Al Quran Al Kareem.

" Invite (all Mankind) to the Way of your Lord (Islam) with Wisdom and Beautiful Preaching and Reason (discuss, argue, debate) with them ( Non Muslims and Muslims -deviant, innovators, liberals, alike) in a Way that is better. MIC's Tamil Movie Scare Tactics Campaign Ad!

Looks like the MIC are bringing in the Tamil gangster movie threat scripted scenes into our Malaysian Indian lives by resorting to veiled threats through this public ad in the Star newspaper today!

What were the MIC thinking?

Do they think that we are in the 50s or 60s era where maybe the poor Malaysian Indians would be cowed by such a threat or succumb to idle threats by anyone anymore?

Wakey wakey Mister Alex goes the script of the popular cartoon 'Madagascar'!

Same call here for the MIC!

Malaysian Indians aren't buying into such shit anymore!

No way brothers! You all need to either shape up or ship out if the folks in HINDRAF are to be taken into consideration.

Do you seriously think Malaysian Indians give a hoot about your public threat?

From the way I see it, the Malaysian Indians have woken up from their MIC induced coma for 50 years!

No more are the Malaysian Indians going to be conned and kept in bondage by the MIC and their BN coalition allies.

HINDRAF might be having their leaders isolated in Kamunting right now but the smouldering rage in the Malaysian Indians hearts and minds is being displayed every now and then as they gather to demand justice for their community which the MIC claims to be custodians in this ad?

The sad part of these Malaysian Indian awakenings is that it has also unearthed the ignorance about how things actually are in this nation of ours that it has brought out the confused amongst the Indian community who are disclosing such fears through imaginative scary videos such as this!

I feel so sorry for this brother. Malaysia is not the nightmare you make it out to look like here sir!

If things are really as you conjure up in this video, you won't be left around at liberty to produce your imaginary hell in Bolehland as depicted here?

Only those who have a severe case of dementia or delusions would want to accept and believe this nightmarish scenario you have conjured up?

Maybe it would work for those who so hate our country that they would be rubbing their hands with pleasure and just be beaming from ear to ear watching this nightmare from the producers misguided mind?

C'mon brother! Face up to the reality that you have simply pushed things so far out of reality way too much that this video looks like a Friday the 13th genre production?

I can go shoot a live video of downtown KL or Jalan Masjid India and show the whole wide world scenes where Malaysians of all races go about their business in relative peace and harmony.

No fancy editing or anything. Live raw video to debunk your myth here. Just to set the records straight.

I may have my 'biff' with the BN's current leadership but I can't just stand by and see my nation being misrepresented in this You Tube's worldwide viewership. Justice for Malaysia is our top priority. The country as a whole is just as good as any other nation out there.

We just have to learn to differentiate between lousy corrupt politicians and not drag the whole country down the drain with them in our attempts to seek justice and highlight the injustices being committed against certain communities amongst the general Malaysian populace.

Now back to the MIC.

If the MIC is really that concerned about the fate of Malaysian Indians, then instead of going around threatening the Malaysian Indian community, you guys would do better to hold a 'Reality Check' nationwide campaign to show the Indians out there as to what is right and what is totally unfounded allegations such as what this video maker has produced?

How come the MIC has yet to catch up to this reality? The MIC Youth leaders have no options but to hold peace talks with the HINDRAF supporters and reason with them.

Discuss not diss and cuss! Be civil towards one another. Respect begets respect, etc.

Help the poor amongst the Indian community and assist them in whatever ways you can?

If there is a will, there will always be a way. Keep up with what's taking place on the ground and do not be afraid to go into the community and see what the MIC can really do for them?

You must know what the people are unhappy about and not just think that you know best as to what is the best way out for the Malaysian Indian community?

Work as a team with the other partners in the BN. I am sure that UMNO and MCA Youth will be more than happy to co-operate with MIC Youth in going around assisting the needy and desperate living in the estates and squatter areas or low cost housing projects?

Always try your best to be up to date with what is happening amongst the people who by sheer circumstances are being caught up and pushed along by the unfolding social and communal upheavals?

Don't tell us that the MIC does not read about the latest breaking news in sites such as Malaysiakini?

MIC needs to be proactive and keep up with the latest updates to be on par with the rest of the country folks!

Veiled threats such as this ad will only reaffirm the Malaysian Indians to show just how pissed off they are with the likes of the Samy Vellu @ the Sg.Siput Godfather?

I don't think that the HINDRAF thingy is going to fade away like the mists of the Malaysian foothills as you wish?

This is for real. Malaysian Indians won't be cowed anymore. In the meantime you can ponder on this and try to look for the ways that you can actually implement corrective measures to win over the people's hearts and minds instead of alienating them further by such threats.

Just sharing with you what the general public are feeling about the MIC? Many Malaysian Indians are unhappy because the MIC leadership have not really been upfront with them about many issues such as the Maika Shares scandal, etc?

People aren't crazy or stupid to go around getting themselves whacked by the FRU and the Malaysian Police?

Someone is agitating the masses and bringing them up to this frenzied stage where they get out of control by suggestive manipulation of their emotions and passions aroused to that breaking point of no return.

If left to run riot, the only victims will be none other than the Malaysian Indians themselves for they are at the forefront whilst the orchestrator's are safely shielded by the masses who do so for fear of losing their newfound leaders?

If the MIC are really the custodians of the Indian Community as this ad claims, then why are the people so against you?

It's preposterous for the MIC which claims to care and protect the Malaysian Indians to turn around and threaten the same community with idle threats alike what the gangsters are issuing in the cinema Tamil movies?

That's not the way to win over the people's hearts and minds, brothers!

I want to see our country return to a sense of normalcy and the whole country make amends and see to it that the grievances of the masses are addressed and assistance given where necessary?

The MIC must accept that they too have their fair share of blame for allowing things to reach this state of dire straits where normal peace loving people are forced to take to the streets to demand their fair share of the wealth of this country or at least be truly given more opportunities to stand on their own two feet and work for their living and get out of the poverty cycle.

If you care to check out what the grassroots are saying, bloggers like me can help you out with our own meet the people live interviews.

I could follow up this article with a live video interview of what the Malaysian Indians think of his threat ad from the MIC and in the process, maybe give you MIC folks a straight live feedback from the Malaysian Indians heart's and minds?

Dialogue instead of veiled threats. That would be a better choice for Malaysia, don't you agree?

'Fatwa as you please' - Political desperado's new modus operandi?

What can we say when the leaders of PAS, an 'ulamak based party' feel fit to issue fatwa's as they please just to legitimize politically based character assassinations of their opponents?

One can't totally blame such desperate measures being touted by the likes of PAS President Haji Hadi Awang because the prevailing elections campaigning field is so bloody lopsided due to the ruling coalition's cowardliness in not allowing them equal airtime and space in the mainstream media platform to present their election manifesto unlike the BN monopolizing all such areas?

It still does not qualify PAS leaders to go around hurling insults and curses claiming that necessity to prevent a BN takeover of Kelantan and spoil their chances of making it in this 12th Malaysian General Elections!

I do not agree with what Haji Hadi is reported to have stated here in this latest breaking news that 'its okay in Islam to do just that!'

'IT IS NOT OKAY' according to the Sunnah of Rasulullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam.

I have written about the forbidding of the Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam upon us his Ummah in going around cursing others here.

Are PAS leaders reading a different set of the Kitabs of Hadith than the rest of us or are we expected to just swallow whatever innovative fatwa that is spewed forth by the likes of Haji Hadi and Nik Aziz?

I feel sad to see such well learned Muslims being reduced to being in the category of those ignorants at large who resort to such petty name callings due to their confused selfs not having studied Islam as much as these two reputable scholars of PAS?

It's a shame to see such an erosion of their personalities to want to propose such a lowly calling just because their mortal enemies in UMNO are playing dirty by refusing them equal airtime over the broadcasting systems.

I would like to assure Haji Hadi and Nik Aziz that the learned Malaysians of 2008 aren't buying into all the propaganda bullshit that the BN is broadcasting over the airwaves and print media.

No sirree!

Malaysian voters of today are well aware that what is being bandied about by the BN is just sock full of bull that even a 10 year old kid can sniff out easily?

The internet can't be curtailed by the BN dear Tok Guru's and we the Bloggers of Malaysia are all for justice and truth to be shared and told to anyone who has a connection to the net and by way of other forms of communication.

Malaysiakini is read by millions of Malaysians all over the nation and feedback is being disseminated throughout the whole wide world.

You Tube hosts a whole lot of informative video clips that dissect and expose all the fabrications of the ruling coalition to the whole world so that everyone gets to see, hear and understand that they don't have to be like the 3 'See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil' idiots of yesteryears!

You do not have to worry or resort to such low class measures of issuing curses through your venerated selfs.

Stay well above the fray and really follow the Sunnah of the Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam to the letter if you will.

Maintain your achieved positions of dignity as the stalwart leaders of PAS and do not go down into the company of fools! It is beneath the status and reputation of wise men to act and behave as them. Won't you agree?

Insya Allah, the Malaysian people know better today not to buy into and believe all the mainstream media bullshit that is coming our way.

If there are still those who swallow hook, line and sinker all the made for TV propaganda myths that are being broadcasted about by your political enemies, be it known to you that those are just a small fraction of clueless folks who still live in an imaginary world of their own where the sun shines brightly 24/7 and they imagine Abdullah Badawi and company to be the best there is for them?

No need to get all flustered up about such dreamers Tok Guru's!

Come March 8th, 2008, see for yourselves how Malaysians will vote?

Worse come to worse, even if you lose, it's not the end of the world just yet?

There will always be a better tomorrow as foretold by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala!

I am sure you learned gentlemen know of Allah's Promise that the banner of Islam will be flying high in the Akhirul Zaman!

We sure are living in these times, aren't we?

Better to focus on explaining to Malaysians what you plan to do to improve our lives and not fall prey to the bloody ego's that will destroy all the good work and sacrifices you have done for the sake of PAS and all other Malaysians!

Focus Tok Guru's! Focus!

Don't let Zainudin Maidin get to you now! Hehehehehehe!

Thought you gents were tough old warriors? Prove me right!

Wabillahi Taufik Wal Hidayah! Wassalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Ta'ala Wabarakatuh!

Allahu Akbar!

'Martyr's Tree of 'Bint Jbeil, Lebanon's City of Allah's Miracle.

Each of us have learned in school that for a tree or a plant to survive, it must have roots or other forms of nutrition seeking part of it's main support system to enable it to grow and replenish itself according to it's surroundings and location.

This is what I learned and hold it to be the truth. Common logic we might say?

Life for a tree or a plant depends on it's having a healthy root system that draws nutrients and moisture from the earth or whatever area that it is based in , whether in its natural environment or artificially induced surroundings such as a laboratory or a green house in which the tree or plant's nutrient requirements is fed to it in a controlled system set up?

Well, I have come across a situation that defies logic and if I didn't see the evidence supporting such a claim, I'd be amongst those who would have no hesitations in calling it a hoax and a fabrication just to seek attention from the world's media.

Something that can only be called as nothing but a 'miracle' has taken place in a city south of Lebanon.

Hundreds of visitors are flocking to Bint Jbeil, a city in the South of Lebanon from all over Lebanon and all other parts of the world to witness for themselves a miracle in the form of a tree that was cut off its roots in 2005 and displayed in the main City Hall of Bint Jbeil as a tribute to the martyrs who perished in the war with the Zionist regime of Israel.

On Wednesday, 1st of August, 2007, visitors to the exhibition were surprised to see green shoots emerge miraculously from the tree!

The tree sprouted branches and drops of fragrant smelling moisture started to ooze out from a crack that suddenly appeared on the trunk of the tree.

The trunk of the tree had been painted over with a dark coat of brown colored paint as the symbol of the bloodied earth of that area which was seeped with the blood of the fallen martyrs.

After the war with the rogue state of Israel in July 2006, a total of 43 small wooden plaques bearing the names of the martyrs who died in the war were added to the tree trunk as a remembrance of their sacrifice.

The people of Bint Jbeil were amazed to see the number of leaves which had grown out of that tree trunk to be exactly 43, the same number of those ‘syuhada’ who were being remembered in that exhibit!

This miracle is regarded by the people there as a sign of Allah’s honor upon the souls of the 43 martyrs of Bint Jbeil.

‘Last Saturday night, we had held a thanksgiving function to celebrate the first anniversary of Lebanon successfully repulsing the Israeli attack’ said a Bint Jbeil resident.

We were sitting in the hall and listening to Haji Selim Bazzi, a respectable citizen of Bint Jbeil explaining to us the significance of having that symbolic tree trunk in the city hall as a monument to the syuhada’s @ martyrs.

There were no leaves or branches visible at that time and it was just a dead tree trunk coated with paint. Everything looked normal.’

‘Bint Jbeil is fast becoming known as the ‘City of Struggle and Freedom’, ‘Motherplace of the Syuhada @ Martyrs’ and the ‘City of Reformists!’ commented another resident.

Now it has another new name. ‘The City of Allah’s Miracles’ said another ‘Bint Jbeil dweller.

‘May Allah shower His Blessings upon ‘Bint Jbeil and its Martyrs and bless each and everyone who has a noble and pure heart and wants to learn from this miracle!’.

This miracle shows how Allah the Most Magnificient elevates the status of those who sacrificed their lives for the sake of protecting their fellow Muslims and nation from the assault of the Israeli Zionist regime!

May we learn from this and reaffirm our faith in Ar Rahman, the Most Merciful Lord Almighty!

Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar! It is He who gives life to the dead and resurrects us when our mortal bodies return to the earth as He wills!

Subhanallah! Most Glorious is He, the Supreme Creator.

There are many things that are happening before us that at times leaves us clueless as to their causes and just like many other mysteries that have yet to be explained even by the foremost scientists of our times, we can only conclude that this 'Martyrs' Tree of 'Bint Jbeil of Lebanon is amongst them.

Verily it is none but Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala Who Knows Best! Allahu Akbar!

A miracle nonetheless if I may say so. Wallahu 'alam bissawab.

Lebanese immigrants are booking flight tickets from America, Canada, Australia and other parts of the world and returning home to see for themselves this miraculous wonder!

Source: www.bintjbeil.org

One of the Bint Jbeil elders posing beside the tree trunk.

Traces of the fragrant moisture that has dropped onto the wooden base of the mounted tree trunk.

Scientifically speaking, that trunk should have dried up and died as it has been severed from its root base and there is no source of moisture supplied to the sawed off tree trunk!

How did this tree trunk sprout branches and leaves equal to the exact number of the martyrs being honored?

43 freshly grown live leaves to the exact number of 43 martyrs being honored with their names of wooden plaques attached to the tree trunk's branches?

See with your own eyes the miracle here! Live new branches sprouting from a painted over and cut tree trunk from one of the battle areas of 'Bint Jbeil in South Lebanon. Masya Allah!

The small wooden plaques bearing the 43 names of the syuhada of 'Bint Jbeil.

Miracle defies logic! Science gets stupified! Unexplainable. Even 'Einstein if he was alive would be stumped to explain this?

The fragrant moisture sap seeping out from the trunk of the 'dead' but miraculously alive 'Martyr's Tree Trunk of Bint Jbeil, South Lebanon.

The 'Bint Jbeil elder being interviewed.

Visitors marveling at this miracle of their times. If this had happened here in Malaysia, the bomoh's and priests of the other faiths would have congregated around the tree and come up with their own interpretations of such a miracle?

If it had happened in the Peninsular, huge bumper to bumper traffic jams would have paralysed the highways and trunk roads as a result of cure seekers converging to the area?

Confidence tricksters would have made a killing selling 'air hikmat' or 'air jampi' touted to be mixed with drops of that fragrant moisture dripping from the tree trunk itself?

The 4D punters would have a field day and Sports Toto and Magnum Sweepstakes would be facing a rush from the hordes of gamblers who would be wanting to try their luck placing such bets based on this out of the ordinary happening! :P

As with any other people on Earth, things like this draw people to them just like ants detecting sugar or anything sweet. This is where the Muslims Aqeedah gets tested and those who are weak and ill learned will go gaga and bonkers over venerating anything that defies their comprehension.

Just look at this as a miracle from Allah the Almighty but do not get distracted by such a phenomenon. Remain steadfast to your Iman and remember that it is the Will of Allah for such a miracle to happen!

As I remember the Hadith of Rasulullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam when the Al-Dajjal comes into being here on Earth, the miracles that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala would give him the abilities to test the faith of Mankind would be so mind boggling that many would succumb to their base sense of holding anything extraordinary to be something that they can only hold to be nothing but divine and will follow the Anti-Christ to Hellfire!

Hazrat Eesa ibnu Maryam Al Masih Alaihis Salam would descend to the Earth in Sham @ Syria near Damsyik @ Damascus and fight the Dajjal and kill him.

The blessed Prophet of Allah, Saiyidina Eesa ibnu Maryam Alaihis Salam would complete his mission on Earth that is to uphold the creed of Ar Rahman and proclaim 'La ila ha ill lall Laah ; Muhammad dar Rasulullah'.

Insya Allah.

May Peace, Mercy and Blessings of Allah be upon us all. Ameen.

BN has to play fair -Give the Opposition Campaign Airtime!

I am getting a tad pissed off looking at the way BN is having it's campaign clips broadcasted over almost all the main television channels every now and then and even over the Astro satellite tv channels!

How low can you go BN?

All these talk of having a clean and fair election seems lost on the way BN shamelessly abuses and exploits the mainstream media and broadcasting stations!

What bloody kind of justice is this SPR?

It's just pure anarchy having the caretaker government BN coalition not give the opposition parties their equal airtime IF they are really, really mature enough as a government that has had it their way all these 50 over years in lording over this country?

Why are the BN scared?

If it is true that you are the best there is for Malaysia, then you have nothing to fear!

The more you try to suppress the truth about how things are in Malaysia, the more you will come across as bloody dictators and cowardly eunuchs who don't have the gonads to square off as decent gentlemen politicians against the Opposition whom you pooh pooh off at will as useless?

Are the BN brave enough to hold live debates over RTM, TV3, NTV7, Astro Ria and all other channels and thrash it out with the leaders of the Opposition?

Are Abdullah Badawi, Najib Tun Razak, Ong Ka Ting, Samy Vellu, Koh Tsu Koon, Khairy Jamaludin and all the other candidates from the BN capable of holding their own in a professional, gentlemanly debate with the likes of Nik Aziz, Haji Hadi, Lim Kit Siang, Karpal Singh, etc?

I say that they won't dare to do so for Malaysia's politicians have yet to have come to such a stage that they can conduct themselves well and articulate in a direct man to man or woman to woman live debate even though this nation has just turned 50 last year?

Instead we see RTM under Zainudin Maidin shamelessly exploit and abuse the airwaves from the moment Parliament was dissolved and without a sense of responsibility and accountability not only towards the people of this country but before Allahu Ta'ala!!!

Whomsoever is unjust on Earth when given authority is assured of Allah's punishment when he or she is resurrected on the Day of Judgment!!!

Don't you ever forget that Zainudin Maidin!!!

If the BN wants us to take them seriously as a legitimate and rightful entity worthy of ruling over us after winning the elections fair and square, then by Allah please stop this bullshit and give the others their fair share of airtime to speak and present their points to the Malaysian people!

Failing which, your victory will be considered haram and attained through treacherous brainwashing of the ignorant masses through your shameful lopsided tv campaigns!
I guess losers and dictators just don't have an iota of honor when waging such cowardly wars against their opponents who are reduced to relying on any other means of reaching out to their supporters and sympathizers!

Thanks to the internet, we have alternative news portals such as Malaysiakini and also through Bloggers like me who do our part in disseminating information to all our fellow Malaysians and throughout the whole wide world in this cyberspace!

Shame on you BN! 'Lawan macam pondan! Tak gentleman langsong!'

You make us feel embarrassed having you rule over us for all these years and still not having the integrity to fight fair as true warriors?

This is like kicking the Opposition in the balls and you in turn cry foul???

Sheeeesh!!!! What a bloody shame BN!!! Be righteous and give the Opposition equal airtime!

Then you will regain any sense of respectability and worthy of your win if the people still want you!

Wouldn't such a win be better than to gain unfair advantage over the Opposition like these?

Datuk Aziz Jamaludin P119 Titiwangsa BN Candidate Interview

Mahaguru58 at Secret Recipe, KLCC yesterday.

Chow Kit Wet Market, Kuala Lumpur. Wednesday, Feb.27, 2008.

I was doing my marketing at the Chow Kit Wet Market this morning when the BN candidate for the area, P119 Titiwangsa Parliament seat, Datuk Aziz Jamaludin, the former Masjid Kg Baru Administrative Committee Chairman came campaigning.

Naturally, I flipped out our Nikon C200 Coolpix and went into interview mode so that you folks can have an idea of how it was during his visit to the market there?

It was not something I planned and just responded at the spur of the moment as any proactive Malaysian blogger would do?

Let it be known that I have no qualms in interviewing anybody be they from the BN, Opposition or even HINDRAF activists?

Every Malaysian who is worth interviewing will be accorded a spot here in my blog and if I get a good quality footage of the event, I might even upload it to Malaysiakini in response to their request to us their readers to contribute newsworthy video clips.

Bloggers being independent citizen journalists and publishers have a civic duty to share with our readers whatever we fell is newsworthy and by doing so do not necessarily have to be pro this party or that?

I for one am doing my part for the benefit of every reader of my blog, straight and simple.

Back to the interview.

This is the first time that I came to know of this BN candidate and being a Malaysian Blogger who is impartial when it comes to sharing news and views here in my blog, I just waited for him to come close and interviewed him.

Among his entourage was one of my blog readers @ Brother Zilan who recognized me and came to greet me before the BN candidate even came closer to the area where I was?

As a mark of respect to Brother Zilan, I conducted this interview and promised him to upload it to my blog here.

After the interview of the BN candidate, I conducted an interview of Brother Zilan and have him here speaking to you about the character and background of the BN P119 Titiwangsa candidate.

I also carried out an impromptu candid interview of the traders present there and got a lively trader who spoke her heart out and in an unrehearsed candid slip up spoke of replacing the BN candidate!!! Hahahahaha!

I immediately pounced upon her slip of her tongue and ribbed her about it! :D

It was funny; spontaneous and had everyone around laughing out loud!!!:P

Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Happy Elections Malaysia!

Election spinmasters ahoy! Political parties sure try to chalk it up!

I am referring to the latest spin that has been coming my way courtesy of one of my blog readers and commenter in one of my latest articles here.

The intention is noble and meant to 'enlighten' me about the calibre of the candidate standing for election in my parliamentary.

It's all fine by me but after reading what the link had in store @ first class 'spinorama', it simply drove me to write this in response.

Remember this word 'spinorama' coined here by yours truly! :D

Let's move on.

You have got to hand it to the spinmasters hard at work during this election!

Flowery words -'outstanding', 'brilliant', 'dedicated', 'exemplary','people's champion', bla bla bla...

Run of the mill, by the book example of the S.O.P. of copymastery. Bravo! Par excellente!

Fooooweeeee! Takes one's breath away man!..

Reading the spin that the appointed spinmaster who dedicatedly weaves and tries to paint dull, expired, former luminaries of the corporate and political has beens into being seen as a potential dynamic election candidate?

In reality it looks like more of a rushed paint job over an ancient relic that really deserves more to be put to pasture than to be elected into office?

You have got to hand it to the copymasters who have been working overtime in painting a shine to the otherwise over the hill candidates who have been roped in to make an attempt to win over dissatisfied voters in the country.

We have to accept that things aren't exactly as wonderful as the way our 'Imam Hadhari' and his cohorts have been proclaiming and we don't want to be seen as those who only want to see the faults of others especially the leaders of the BN.

The reality that our costs of living has increased triplefold over the years of living under the BN's rule and the way serious crime seems to be spiraling out of hand can't be overlooked in our quest to see a better representation in the Malaysian House of Parliament and in the respective State Assemblies.

We can't however go to the extent of swallowing hook, line and sinker of anything that the Opposition parties dangle before us and get ourselves into deeper shit by electing airheads and past their prime politically recycled stale alternatives!

No sirree!

I am somewhat apprehensive in accepting alternative candidates who fumble and mumble their way in trying to present themselves to us as the better choice for 'reform' , etcetera, etcetera..

This is the usual run of the mill bullshit that every political aspirant dishes out to those who aren't capable of making an educated choice or are simply blinkered into believing that all that shines or seems to shine is solid gold?

At times, one tends to end up with the political version of 'fools gold'. All glitter and no bloody value to boot. That would really be a royal heartache and supreme letdown! May Allah forbid!

I am keen to throw in my support to the new, first timers who have yet to be tested and proven in the ever challenging and churning world of our Malaysian politics!

I mean, we already know what the incumbents have achieved or deceived in the form of their track records?

No matter how much spin any copymaster or spinmaster tries to paint up on the ones who have achieved nothing but plain old wasting of time in the august Malaysian House of Parliament, we can always look back and see what they did or failed to do in their past term?

This is the very reason why I am not that gung ho to throw in my support to either candidates in my parliamentary?

I would rather bide my time within the remaining days of their campaign to see who merits getting my vote and see to it that I get to share with you here anything and everything that deserves to be shared and spread in the cyberspace.

As for the spinmasters who try their level best to spruce up and beautify the ones from the dreary past to look glorious and charming, good luck.

As they say, nothing beats the young and fresh who have more to give than the ancients and the dinosaurs of the past who wanna come in and do what for Malaysia?

Another miserable bout of spewing bullshit in Parliament?

Oh pleaaaaase!!! Spare us the agony!

I almost fell to the floor rollicking in laughter and glee looking at the granny wanting to challenge Mat Sabu!!!

Hahahahaha! Talk about the past attempting to forge the future and even the infamous Mat Sabu is not known to be a sterling choice for a Parliamentarian for I do not recall any outstanding achievements of him when he was an MP?

C'mon folks! Give us a break, will ya?

I just hope that all the has beens, spruced up half baked parliamentarians wannabe to be sent packing back home to wherever they came from?

We need a better, younger, abler team of professional, educated, capable, decent, knowledgable parliamentarians and state assembly men and women in 2008 to see to it that Malaysia becomes a better nation, fair to all..(if possible)!

Failing which, Malaysia can rest assured that it will be another round of the same old bullshit that we had to endure from the likes of those in the past term we had!

In the meantime, let's go catch the latest updates in Malaysiakini. Elections 2008 is getting hotter by the day folks!

Let's hope that it is not us who get burnt by all the spin that is coming our way care of the spinmasters who are going about in full swing.

PKR sure has an overworked master going at it full swing! :P Hahahahaha! Figure him out!

Just as an example, let's take a look at this PKR flyer that was pushed into our mailbox.

Anwar is shown looking upwards at the text of 'Agenda Ekonomi Malaysia'. All fine and dandy as part and parcel of an election leaflet that any party would churn out as part of their campaign.

They also have pictures of the 'corruption scandal' involving the purchase of the Scorpene submarines and Imam Hadhari's jet. Fine. No worries about the relevance.

I also have no objections to the other points raised in this flyer. Fine by me.

But what the hell is the picture of that Malay couple with those ridiculous claims of their children's milk and medication money being stolen just because they have to pay toll?

Hello??? Who the hell is forcing anyone to enter into the tolled highways?

You can't afford to pay toll? Stay the hell away from such roads!

There are lots of alternative roads to take, aren't there?

I mean, sure let's face it. The cost of lands to be acquired in building such fine highways need to be taken into consideration, right?

Costs of construction, wages, etcetera have to be accounted for right? You wanna travel for free? By all means take the trunk roads!!!

Humbug!

And what bloody medical costs are we talking about here?

The Government clinics charge a measly ringgit for medications and consultations, for all I know!

One bloody ringgit!!!

Be sensible folks! This is just plain ol' bullshit! Really takes away any sense of credibility from the flyer when one looks at the relevance of it.

For crying out loud, there is a limit and certain matters that need to be taken into consideration before coming out with ridiculous leaflet messages like that?

It just sort of takes away the punch from such a leaflet when you have nonsense such as that spoiling it all!

Stupid point of view I must say! Kick the copymaster for us please! :P

Anyway, I wonder what other classic spins that the BN, PAS & DAP are gonna throw at us in this campaign period? Let's go see what's in store?

Anyone who has anything in such class , please share them with me. Gonna be adding them to my collection. :D

Cheers!

Tan Chai Ho or Khalid Ibrahim? Tossing of the dice at P124.

I had an elections related chat with a few BN workers manning the 4B Youth Movement's Barisan Nasional Election Base at Taman Tenaga, Cheras this morning.

There were 4 Malay young adults there who were running a service station, catering to checking info of constituents who came to the station to find out which polling stations they are scheduled to go to on March the 8th?

I found them to be all bleary eyed as they had been manning the station 24/7 and most looked like they could really use some much needed sleep.

I wonder if Datuk Tan Chai Ho even knew about them losing sleep over their efforts to see to it that the man gets re-elected for the 4th term running?

Such is the price one has to pay being a minion in the electoral process of this nation.

I am sure that this same scenario is being repeated all over the nation in both the BN and opposition BR camps where millions of poorly paid Malaysian election workers toil day and night so that the candidates get re-elected or the new MP and SA wannabes get to win over their opponents come March the 8th of 2008!

Unknowns losing sleep for a bit of allowances received so that they and their families get some extra cash coming their way for the sacrifices they have to make.

So ironic!

Tan Chai Ho as I have stated yesterday comes across as having done this and that in his election propaganda booklet that I received complete with a Vote for BN T shirt.

Looks so bloody impressive on paper but in actual reality nothing can be so contrasting, really!

So the booklet shows the many types of infrastructures that have been built in the Bandar Tun Razak parliamentary and we can't deny that but one has to consider many other aspects of the realities of life here than just marvel at buildings and structures.

For one thing, what about the quality of life for the constituents of Bandar Tun Razak as a whole?

Despite all the infrastructures built up at the sprawling new town here, the reality of juvenile delinquency and the emergence of the Mat Rempit terrors due to the failure of the grassroot political organizations such as UMNO Youth who have failed to nurture and groom such rabblerousers from wreaking havoc in the parliamentary like what we saw take place upon a 45 year old Indian Muslim motorist who was bludgeoned to near death by the BN Youths a few days ago and who is now being warded at HUKM after a major operation on his skull to remove a blood clot which I have reported yesterday as a followup to the Malaysiakini breaking news?

Even then, we can't just lay the blame totally on just UMNO for the crimes of the wayward youths whom they have enlisted to help them operate the numerous 'BN Operation Centers' that have sprouted up for this election campaign.

The root problem goes back to the quality of life that churns out such troubled youths and we need to go search for the root cause as to why our youths turn out these way nowadays?

You can't go blame Tan Chai Ho for that too!

We need to identify and acknowledge that the way we live nowadays has much to do with the general breakdown of our society from all walks of life over the years as a result of too much modernization in the physical sense but remaining crude and primitive in the internal entities of each and every person living in the current world of 2008.

Life isn't what it used to be and our youths face a different scenario and grow up according to a different set of values today than what folks like me and those my age and older age bracket experienced in our own lives before.

Back then, people were more content to just exist and survive with whatever they had and didn't place too much emphasis on material wealth and belongings.

In a sense, you can say we were so content even if we had no radio, no television, no telephone, no this and that and at times were even content to just have a small bowl of rice filled with water and a pinch of salt and a sliver of salted fish.

Try giving any kid growing up today that same bowl of rice with water and salt and I can guarantee you that you would get a dirty look from him or her and chances are that bowl of rice would go flying?

It's not the same anymore. Things are different and expectations of the Malaysian people even amongst those whom one can classify as living below the poverty scale is generally much more higher than what we poor folks lived in back in the 60s and 70s.

I asked the BN workers as to whether they would be voting for Tan Chai Ho and they answered that if given a choice they would rather have an UMNO candidate representing the P124 Bandar Tun Razak Parliamentary but as the BN leadership have a gentlemen's agreement with MCA in the allocation of that parliamentary to them, they have no choice but to go with the flow?

Khalid Ibrahim of the PKR is a parachute candidate to the parliamentary and even I don't know much about him save for what is published in the papers and in the internet. I know that he used to be the head of Guthrie Plantations and is a former corporate figure but there is nothing spectacular about his achievements or what he has to offer us the people of Bandar Tun Razak that can trigger me to throw in my support for the man?

Even at the 'After Lina Joy' forum organized by the DAP at Hotel Armada a few months back where he was one of the panel speakers, I heard nothing constructive from him in explaining to the generally pro DAP and anti-Islam forum participants and attendees that might have given me and other Muslims something to remember him by or even see anything in his person that might lead me to be supportive of the fellow?

So it sort of leaves us Bandar Tun Razak Muslims undecided as to whom we should root for? If I am to resort to being funny I could recommend the voters to go throw a dice and leave it to chance as to who gets our vote but this is not a laughing matter.

This election will determine what we the constituents of P124-Parliamentary of Bandar Tun Razak can hope to expect from the winner of this election here?

Tan Chai Ho has not exactly been visible around here save for the photo ops that the man has managed to get printed and published in his electoral booklet.

Development of the Bandar Tun Razak infrastructure would still have taken place regardless as to who won the elections for the past terms.

It's a collective decision of various agencies and departments of the ruling government according to the Master Development Plan of KL and the Federal Territories.

It would still have taken place even if Tan Chai Ho had dropped dead way back in the late 90's!

Same goes with the Opposition. Save for their raising their voices in Parliament and throwing tantrums engaging in shouting matches with the BN Backbenchers or Cabinet Ministers etc., what other achievements have they had in contributing to the lives of the millions of Malaysians who expect the government of the day to see to it that their lives are improved over time and the many opportunities to seek a living is shared fair and square amongst the population?

Reality shows us that in this nation, things won't change as the majority of the people expect and hope or wish for?

There will always be a lopsided state of marginalization that will remain as it is right now and since this nation came into being for eternity.

The playing field for Malaysians of all races and faiths will remain as what it is as long as we still live divided and segregated according to our ethnicities and faith.

As Muslims, we can't go and agree with the Non Muslims that all faiths are equal. No way.

Any Muslim or so called Muslim who agrees to that is a jahil @ ignorant and no matter what excuse he or she comes up with to validate such a claim will never be accepted. End of the matter.

We can live in peace and solidarity with one another just as we have lived all these while but there remains an invincible and obvious barrier between us when it concerns the matter of belief in Allah and the Non Muslims chosen deity of their respective creed.

Just accept that and go on with our lives. As far as the candidates for P124 Bandar Tun Razak Parliamentary, it can go either way.

Tan Chai Ho stands to gain from his having been the MP for this area since 1995, 1999 and 2004.

His last election victory saw him win with a 17,000 majority over his opponent and God knows what is going to be this year on March the 8th, 2008?

Bandar Tun Razak does not have much problems as far as I know with the needs of this parliamentary and Dataran Dwitasik is now nearing completion and lots of business opportunities will be available to us who live here.

As far as I am concerned, the people of P124 do not have much to complain about? We have almost everything we need within our reach and that ought to be enough for positive minded voters.

Naturally we will have amongst us faultfinders and nitpickers who would zoom in to anything not kosher according to their own limited mindsets but then again, what can we do to change the outlooks of those who are blinkered in their views? As I see it, Bandar Tun Razak people are fine.

We just have to decide whom to vote for when the day comes.

Before ending this article, I just ask that the BN Youths of this constituency to remain civil and not resort to any acts of violence against the innocent civilians of this parliamentary if caught in a situation like what took place the other day as a minor road traffic accident?

Same advice goes out to the PKR Youths who get to read this.

'Belajar cari makan bukan cari pasal!'

Be cool and in control. Violence begets violence and its not going to benefit anyone in the long run.

May Bandar Tun Razak folks choose wisely. Ameen. Have a nice day.

BN Sedia Gempur ..Sedia Merempit...Sedia Bunuh?

I feel sad to see this clip of a Malaysian citizen who is another of a long list of victims of the nation's legion of menaces widely known as the 'Mat Rempit's'.

It is even more irritating to note that the ones who assaulted this poor man have yet to be arrested by the Royal Malaysian Police because they are associated with the ruling coalition party.

I can only pray that the perpetrators be punished by Allahu Ta'ala for almost killing this poor innocent man who is a victim of those animals in human form and deserve no pity when they die smashed across the road or get decapitated as many of such species get at times.

Malaysiakini ought to be applauded for posting this clip and alerting us to the type of menace that gets the BN government's sponsorship and the ones who go all out to indoctrinate them into their midst.

We have money laundering amongst the Mafiosi in the West and here we have menace laundering in Bolehland.

What if the man had died? Tutup kes? Alaaa.....ini kes accident...bla..bla..bla...just as all other cases we have heard so far in this getting to be a nightmarish land of ours.

Whom are we to blame? KJ? Azeez of the Putera Division? Or their bloody parents for giving birth to such ruffians?

At this time, one can't help but reflect on the words of the legendary character actor Ahmad Nesfu in P.Ramlee's Seniman Bujang Lapok which are" Kecik kecik tak nak mampos! Sudah besar menyusahkan orang!!!" meaning 'Wouldn't it be better if you had died when you were young than to have grown up and become a menace to others?'

How very apt!

Sigh!!! This is the sorry state of affairs of our nation's wayward youth who instead of being groomed to be model citizens and future leaders are being sponsored to become the nation's future murderers!

Bravo BN! Sedia Gempur! Sedia Bertempur! Sedia Menggelupur?....when Malaikatul Maut comes a calling.

Remember that! No one is spared from tasting Death. Today you whack a helpless man senseless...to the stage that he was in danger of death from the beating that you gave him.

Won't be long before Almighty Allah returns to you an equal retribution and you be the recipient of everyone's curses upon learning about this horrible crime of yours!

Shame on you PDRM for practicing double standards! Where's the justice Tan Sri Musa Hassan?

We the people so depend on you gentlemen in the Police Force!

If you don't defend us the people from the likes of these menaces, then who else should we depend on or should we just take the law into our own hands and whack the life out of those terrors if we should ever get into the same spot?

May justice prevail in this country regardless as to who the culprits are?

Prove to us that there is still justice in Malaysia. Otherwise, I am sure that the millions of my fellow Malaysians will never ever trust anyone else in power.

Wallahi Wabillahi.

Nurul Izzah Anwar's Electoral Debut - History in the making?

None can deny Mrs.Nurul Izzah Anwar, the daughter of the former Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, Anwar Ibrahim her right to contest the Lembah Pantai Parliamentary seat against the incumbent Wanita UMNO Deputy Chief and (caretaker) Malaysian Minister for Women, Family & Community Development, Shahrizat Jalil.

Courtesy of Nurul Izzah.Com

On one hand she has the academic credentials to stand as a candidate for the seat and also is young and talented politically as she has acquired a lot of political mileage by standing by her father as he went through living hell, deposed, humiliated, beaten black and blue, incarcerated for 6 long years and finally released upon being found not guilty after his court appeal.

Courtesy of Nurul Izzah.Com

Nurul Izzah Anwar has sort of graduated from the school of hard knocks and naturally she has in her , her father's 'never say die' attitude and spirit. Anwar Ibrahim is fortunate to have such a daughter. Alhamdulillah. It's good for a father to be so blessed.

I have to accept the fact that political dynasties exist in all countries and we have living proof of that even in the world's major superpower, the United States of America where the current president George Wacko Bush Jr. is ruling over that country where his father once did.

So, who are we to deny these people their chance to go for their political goals and objectives?

Even in the BN, the top leaders of UMNO are sons of former Prime Ministers. People like Najib Tun Razak, the incumbent (caretaker) Deputy Prime Minister. His father Allahyarham Tun Abdul Razak was Malaysia's second Prime Minister.

Hishamudin Tun Hussein Onn, the incumbent UMNO Youth Chief and (caretaker) Minister of Education is the son of the 3rd Malaysian Prime Minister Allahyarham Tun Hussein Onn and his great grandfather was Dato Onn bin Jaafar, one of the founders of UMNO.

So, political dynasties are here to stay.

It's only natural then for Mrs. Nurul Izzah binti Anwar Ibrahim to enter the political fray.

As a newcomer to the mainstream Malaysian political circus, it is also going to be a tough journey for Nurul Izzah to make her mark in the hearts and minds of the people of Lembah Pantai who have been accustomed to the going on's in nightspots such as Bangsar.

The various establishments where maksiat and hedonism is the rule of the day and late nights aren't exactly going to be very gung ho about the candidacy of Anwar's daughter there as the PKR have with them the presence and support of their brothers in arms, members of PAS, the Islamic Party of Malaysia.

The sight of the skullcap wearing determined looking Muslim elders and boisterous shouts of 'Allahu Akbar' that we saw as shown in the video here yesterday when Nurul Izzah was accompanied by her supporters with all the flags, buntings and poster carriers as they 'takbir'ed their way to the nomination center must surely have caused many of the patrons of pubs and bars out there to have a case of the 'shrunken gonads' syndrome thinking that a JAWI raid must be taking place? Hehehehehehe....

Courtesy of Malaysiakini.com

'Mami' Shahrizat did not do any cleanups of that infamous Bangsar area and rather played along to the way things have always been at one of KL's infamous drinking areas there.

Wonder what's gonna be in Nurul Izzah's agenda if she gets to beat Shahrizat in the coming polls?

Will it involve 'amal makruf nahi mungkar' or will it be just another bout of mere rhetoric that politicians almost always seem to excel without fail once they get elected and anointed into power?

Not being familiar with what Nurul Izzah is capable of for frankly speaking I have yet to discover the real deal of her character and personality, I look forward to doing just that as part of my research and study of this election's candidates and who they are and what do they stand for?

Will she be interviewed by Malaysiakini and featured in their Malaysiakini.TV or do I have to satisfy myself with just reading about her and watching KeadilanTV to get more info about this good looking lady who is sure going to charm them Bangsar folks over with her drop dead gorgeous looks?

Nurul Izzah Anwar surely takes first place as being the most good looking candidate this time around!

Hehehehehe...go read the comments at You Tube. Many are already fawning over her! :P

Anyway, it is not looks that the voters of Lembah Pantai and all other constituencies have to take into consideration or be bowled over by empty rhetorics!

We need to be more observant about their true characteristics and avoid voting useless ones into power such as what took place during the last term?

No more 'close one eyes', 'leaking' insulters, 'go back to China or India' foulmouths, or racist scumbags in Parliament please!

This nation deserves better quality, intellectuals being elected into office and does not need extremists or opportunists in government.

We seriously need deserving, responsible, hardworking, smart, well read, well learned productive Members of Parliament and State Assemblies to be elected and given space to bring our country forward and achieve a developed nation status with a good, vibrant, dynamic, caring government this time around.

I will curse and put a royal hex on those who continue to cause havoc in our Parliament by raising stupid issues and champion just one particular ethnicity or faith whilst being in power!:P

I seriously hope it does not have to come to that? Hehehehehe...

I surely don't want to be like my fellow blogger penarik beca who has a permanent curse going on for Abdullah Badawi's favorite Son in Law as he has attested to doing it here. Hehehehehe!

This 12th Malaysian General Elections is sure getting to be pretty interesting!

As for Nurul Izzah's political debut, I wish her 'Good Luck!'.

La haula wala quwwata illa billah bil aliyyil adzhim! Barkatu lillahi ta'ala!

Election Promises, Posters,Banners, Billboards, Bullshitters!

I came across several election posters, banners and boards from both the Barisan Nasional and the Opposition Barisan Rakyat this morning.

Each one of them promises this and that and there is a story that one can decipher from the underlying messages behind each and every one of them.

Let's take a look at them one by one.

First we start off with this one that I saw placed prominently at the traffic lights junction to the entrance of Taman Shamelin Perkasa, Cheras, KL.

It's featuring the DAP candidate Jenice Lee with a striking Hollywood style pose with her outflung arms as if a theatre performer just taking the applause after a performance!

Quite eyecatching really! But I sort of did a double take when I saw her billboards message content!

"Safeguard our right to mother tongue education!"

That's it! No other objective it seems except promising to pursue just that one aspect of what obviously betrays a biased election promise!

There's no message in Bahasa Melayu. I see English, Mandarin and Tamil. Not a word in Malay!

So much for the DAP's 'Bangsa Malaysia'!

Malays can forget about having the DAP fight for your rights for their election billboard excludes any recognition of you.

Maybe they think that since the BN and UMNO have already been paying attention to you, they don't need to look out for your rights or give a hoot about your votes? From the looks of this obviously 'Malay ignoring' billboard, that's what seems to be the underlying message.

DAP supporters will come and accuse me of reading it all wrong but as they say in the media world, a picture speaks a thousand words and this billboard speaks volumes! Face up to it!

Good luck Jenice! You sure need loads of it!

Next we have a banner by the BN candidate for Cheras, a Dr.Jeffrey Goh Sim Ik from the MCA.

The doctor promises change for a better Cheras and leaves it to the voters to decide!

Quite vague I must say and nothing to support his election promise.

What kind of changes one might ask?

For someone who promises a better Cheras, the poor man obviously is either clueless about it himself or will wait for his bosses to decide later when they see the results on March the 8th?

So much for such a vague empty promise to change things in Cheras!

Next, I came across this comparison chart by the BN put up at one of the road junctions in Taman Shamelin Perkasa, Cheras.

As usual, the BN keeps showing us that things are so much better here in Bolehland compared to our ASEAN neighbours.

Oh we are so blessed!!! We have tremendous buying power states the BN!

Really? Easy for Abdullah Badawi and company to say when they don't have to worry about having to pay for groceries, utilities, house loans, this and that that the average Malaysian family are burdened with each and every day and end of the month so to speak!!!

For the freeloaders who get to live in palatial mansions in Putrajaya and travel here and there in luxurious automobiles at the expense of the Malaysian taxpayers, things must really seem so cushy and heavenly, watching their bank accounts all over the world swell every second and minute as they enjoy the wonderful unlimited perks of holding office.

Yes, they are truly blessed.

They have the gall to compare us with the likes of Singapore?

Hello!!! Does anyone there in the BN know how much the average Singaporean makes per hour compared to the average Malaysian?

I just don't want to dwell on this for my blood pressure might just shoot up trying to suppress my anger.

Bloody bullshitters! @#$%^&! Got to try remain calm...

Subhanallah..Alhamdulillah...Lailahaillallaah...Allahu Akbar...Subhanallah...Alhamdulillah...Lailahaillallaah..Allahu Akbar...

Alhamdulillah...am calm now......

Okay, ...next we have another billboard. Shows Abdullah Badawi carrying a boy who won the sailing championship some time back with the Cheras UMNO leader Syed AlHabshee if I am not mistaken.

The slogan reads, 'Membangunkan Modal Insan'. All hunky dory and promising this and that to those who might not have been reading the papers and watching the news on tv, etc.

For all the bullshit that this billboard displays, the reality is that social meltdown is at an all time high during the rule of the current BN leadership.

I don't have to spell it out to you here as to the sorry state of affairs that crime has taken a toll on the lives of the innocent people especially the children of this nation!

See this poster and read about the 'quality of insan's' that have materialized under Abdullah Badawi's rule?

Click on it to view better. Courtesy of BetterMalaysia.com

I am not laying the blame totally on the man's head but I sure wish that he had more of the tenacity that Mahathir displayed in seeing to it that criminals are not allowed to get off this easy?

Not implying that Mahathir is sin free or what but the man had balls to squash down upon the lawbreakers. Sex related crimes are on the mercurial rise since the 'modal insan rhetoric spewer' took over. So much for Mr.Nice Guy!

The nation needs a disciplinarian not a fumbling mumbling old fool. From the looks of it, we are going to be in worse off situations if he remains in power after March the 8th? Allah help us all!
Ameen.

Next, we have this big banner showing the 4B Youth Movement of Malaysia attesting their support for the Barisan Nasional candidate @ Tan Chai Ho of the MCA for Bandar Tun Razak for the second term around in this 12th Malaysian Parliamentary election.

Tell you the truth, I have been living in Bandar Tun Razak for more than six years, never once have I seen this Tan Chai Ho fella come visiting us the constituents ever since he got elected into office in 2004!

So much for a Member of Parliament whose only sign of being present is a made to order banner strung across by his servants at the traffic junctions of my constituency!

The sad thing is that he is being challenged by the one who asked the people of Ijok to vote for the Barisan Nasional?

Yeah, I am talking about the BN DNA filled failed candidate of the PKR, Khalid bin Ibrahim.

Yeah I know the fella has a Tan Sri'ship before his name but I am one who doesn't care much for titles and honorifics.

What a bloody sorry choice of candidates we folks in Bandar Tun Razak are stuck with!

I'd be more happy if it was someone vibrant or highly charged or something like even the Cili Padi of the DAP who successfully tested her 'power' by holding the DAP to ransom recently or if it was somebody like Ong Tee Keat or whatever?

Anyway, that's it for this part of the day. More updates can be found at my must read site of Malaysiakini for they are the ones who have the latest news and views flying in from all over the country as we speak every second of the day and night as the Election Fever starts taking place in everybody.

Till we catch up again, here's Mahaguru58 signing off and wishing you to cast your votes carefully.

May Allah bless and guide us all. Ameen.

Have a productive day Malaysia!

Mandarin inadequacy costs Chia Kwang Chye Penang's CMship?

Now this is something that really makes my day.

An excerpt from the Sun newspaper report below where one of the candidates for the Chief Minister's seat Chia Kwang Chye laments the fact that his inadequate command of Mandarin might just cost him any chance of making it to Penang's topmost political seat of power? Wonder if these news made it to Malaysiakini?

I lost out due to inadequate command of Mandarin'
PENANG (Feb 22, 2008): Gerakan secretary-general Datuk Seri Chia Kwang Chye says it was his inadequate command of Mandarin that caused him to lose the race for the post Penang Chief Minister.

Asked why he was retained at the federal level instead of being one of the candidates for the prized post and if he was surprised with the decision?

Chia said: "I was told that my Mandarin is inadequate. I think the criteria was emphasised and publicised in the newspapers and now it looks like the criteria of being a good Mandarin speaker seems more and more important.

"It seems it has become important based on the issue being raised by the (Penang) Chinese Town Hall, that Mandarin speaking is a very important criteria.

This aspect has been raised over the past few weeks and so in this respect, I am not adequately qualified."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The question of the very important aspect that one has to have in today's world is the grasp of Mandarin. What kind of Mandarin? Well, you need to know that in the World of the Chinese, Putonghua is the highest standard of the learning of Mandarin.
Myself with the Deputy Dean of the School of International Education, Shanghai Jiotong University, Associate Professor Fei Yu-fang, who witnessed the presentation of the Unico Holdings scholarship presentation event and of another Hanyu Study collaboration MOU that I have successfully closed. Alhamdulillah.
As you can see, Dato' Ong Tee Keat whom I have admired and supported all these while for his laudable efforts to speak up for the Malaysian people both in Parliament and in his capacity as the incumbent MP for the Pandan constituency, has shown his mettle in his grasp of the Chinese culture.
Great job brother! May this 12th Malaysian GE 2008 see you re-elected to serve the people more!
BN is not going to have a landslide win for sure!
The BN Coalition are surely not gonna have a landslide win this time around in this 12th General Elections come March the 8th, 2008.
Why do I say so? Just go and read what the people are saying in alternative media sites such as Malaysiakini ? These are the real voices of Malaysians. Not edited pieces meant to apple polish any bloody government leader!
The chances of Abdullah Badawi pulling off another spectacular election win like in the past GE will be really quite an astounding achievement or truly questionable since the groundswell of Malaysians who are getting exasperated with the way our costs of living have been jacked up by the Cemerlang, Gemilang, Terbilang, Temberang brigade since 2001!
The BN Government all these years have been slowly but surely allowing the prices of basic commodities and fuel to rise slowly but surely even though Malaysia is a petroleum producing and exporting country!
All the wealth that is coming from this oil rich nation is sadly not being enjoyed by the very people of this country. Not really in the true sense.
There are still very, very poor Malaysians out there in the villages and rural areas of this country who go to bed without food.
There are still poor Malaysians who are reduced to eating shoots and snails out there in the far flung areas of this nation due to extreme poverty whilst caviar and champagne flows endlessly in posh five star establishments in the privileged circles of those who are the rich and powerful elite of this nation.
This video production that shows the true picture of what the average Ahmad, Ah Seng and Samy have to go through each day as we suffer a shrinking wallet due to the spiralling costs of trying to survive life under the government of Abdullah Ahmad Badawi & company, throughout Malaysia.
Maybe the BN leaders have yet to experience how it must be to have one's stomach growling with hunger whilst going through a day without any food or income to support one's family as many experience each day in the kampongs out there?
In this instance, what the Opposition are putting forth in their manifesto seems attractive for once.
I mean who in their right mind would want to look forward to a higher cost of living at the expense of megalomaniacs whose only election promise is to paint a future full of high rise buildings, infrastructure this and that but do not promise NOT to raise the prices of our daily needs in the near future after this election?
I for one am already pissed off looking at the way things are getting expensive by the day due to the way the ones we had ruling over us simply allowed this gradual price hike to take place without considering the tremendous toll it has taken on us, those who trusted them all these while!
It makes no difference to me as a citizen as to who rules this country as long as the government is fair to all and really, really practices good governance.
I don't need no bullshitting PM tell me with his croaky voice that he has done all he can to alleviate the rakyat's sufferings!
We don't need empty promises of opportunistic politicians try and hoodwink us for another term of 5 more suffering years!
I mean, we have had endless lies told to us at the expense of our peace of mind. The nation is getting sicker by the day due to rising crime and the social and moral breakdown of our Malaysian society.
Sure, we may look more Islamic but in reality the sexual crimes and general rot taking place in this nation is really quite worrisome to me and the millions of other concerned Muslims and Non Muslims.
Malaysian Muslims today may look more 'Muslim' than our earlier generations but in actual fact the standard of observing Islamic principles today under this so called Islam Hadhari propagating administration is more of a sham and useless pretext of being 'holier than thou' in general.
Maksiat is spreading all over the nation under cover of religious observance by many Muslims who put up a fantastic show of being 'alim'.
These alims in fact turn very,very zalim in prosecuting others when they themselves did nothing to stop the rot in the first place.
I am talking about those who preach about Islam Hadhari values day in and day out but neglect the very basis of Dakwah al Islamiyah and even if they attempt to do so impose uncalled for terms and conditions to those good intentioned ones amongst the Muslim ummah to call others towards observing and practicing true Islam.
The Islamic religious departments of this nation have hampered free speech of the Khatibs all over the country and impose their prepared texts for the Friday prayers which the Khatibs have to READ OUT to the congregation.
The prepared texts almost always contain no criticizing of the 'Ulul Amri' @ the Rulers thus turning the whole Friday prayers gathering as a government propaganda exercise.
This in turn has an effect of not tackling the real issues affecting the people of the surrounding mosques and we fail to nip social problems in the bud as a result.
Drug abuse, sexual promiscuity, incest, rape, molestations, etc. proliferate as a result of the society putting up a sham of looking Muslim, pretending to be Muslim, but in actual reality the true knowledge of Islam is almost zero in the hearts and minds of a pretentious Ummah.
Malaysia a model Islamic nation? Yeah right!
The BN under Abdullah Badawi have succeeded. Succeeded in destroying the basis of 'ikhwanul muslimun' by engaging in egoistic campaigns of trying to do one better than their fellow Muslims in the opposition party of PAS.
False pretences of being 'good Muslims' has in fact driven the wedge of enmity deep within the society. So deep in fact that heaven knows how much UMNO hates PAS and vice versa.
PAS leaders themselves aren't that magnanimous in the real sense and both have a disease spreading like a virus in their hearts and minds.
The only way the nation can progress and move forward is if both parties make sincere efforts in bridging the very obvious gap and be truthful to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and their fellow Muslims.
The alternative political coalition have different objectives and goals between them and if we are to really dig deep under their alliance, we are sure bound to find weak spots and links that might give way if push comes to shove but what other choices does the nation have?
The incumbent BN coalition is not exactly a sterling example of those who really care or give a shit about us so why should we just rubberstamp them to another 5 years to rob and loot the nation as they please?
Look back at the arrogant way we were brushed aside by those in power all these years?
Remember how the BN leaders snapped back at reporters when asked about whatever problems the public faced and how the Malaysians suffered due to the way their protests or demonstrations were brutally smashed down by the government forces?
The Malaysians irrespective of ethnic origins and faiths have all suffered in general whilst the privileged and titled enjoyed themselves at our expense.
I leave it to you my fellow Malaysians to do your own studies about all that has taken place in the past term and make up your minds as to whom you want to give your precious vote?
Even the government employees are hard pressed to make ends meet nowadays and many have to moonlight as this and that to make sure that their families have food on the table.
Poverty is not something that many love living in and the BN bullshitters have brought about a situation where many families implode from within due to financial problems!
The Opposition have yet to be tried out and I say why the hell not?
If they can pull off what they are promising, I say just do it! Let's see what they are capable of?
UMNO Terengganu members open revolt against BN nominated candidates
Have you heard of the UMNO Terengganu members public protests against the choice of candidates nominated by the BN Terengganu leadership and dropping the 'giant killer' Rahman Bakar and another?
Well, I came across this rare scenes of UMNO members protesting ala the Opposition parties in a fellow blogger's site.
Maybe Malaysiakini might want to fly over its journalists to Kuala Terengganu to catch the action there?
I am sure that these pictures won't appear in any of the mainstream media for fear of exposing the open revolt by UMNO members that has been unleashed following the nomination of certain candidates by the UMNO Terengganu leadership!
These photos are the courtesy of author Tarmizi Mohd Jam who runs Sanggah Tok Sago.Com which has published the explosive report of UMNO Terengganu members protesting openly!
RTM seems deaf, dumb and blind to these scenes of protest by UMNO members!!!
Err..excuse me (caretaker) Minister of Information, will we get to see an offering of a video clip of such protests during prime time tv? Pleeeease!!! Hehehehehe...
Looking forward to see what RTM is going to come up with this time?
I am sort of bored watching the spliced up clips of the Pakistani protests interlaced with the Malaysian made for RTM protests especially the one showing the Batu Burok protests!
You know, the one with the helmeted guy burning the Jalur Gemilang and remaining incognito till this moment!
Okay, enough chatter. Let's see these rare pictures of UMNO Terengganu members saying' NO!'
Looks like the protests are going on day and night! How come the FRU aren't anywhere in sight?
Tch! tch! tch! tch! Doesn't look good man! You need to have the men in red helmets and the water cannon trucks to complete the picture!!
What's a protest in Malaysia without the Federal Reserve Units? Total letdown man!!! Really!!!
Do we need these political dynasties in Malaysia?
I refer to the report in Malaysiakini where Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad speaks about why he didn't allow his sons to enter politics actively when he was the nation's Prime Minister?
In a sense you have to acknowledge that honorable aspect of him despite the general knowledge that it is enough for one person in a politician's family to bring home the big bucks officially while there will be endless other streams of income coming one's way to see to it that for the next seven generations, money won't be a problem.
So to me, all that talk is just a lame attempt to divert people's attention from the reality that politicians from all parties have only one major goal which is to make hay while the sun shines!
Don't come and tell us stories about being holier than thou for all politicians will in one way or other not fail to feather their nests with all the perks of holding office.
Opposition politicians will claim not to be flushed with cash but if and when they do get into power, it's just the same old thing albeit with a different label or slogan. No politician out there is a hundred percent 'people's champion' and really, really that concerned about the average Ahmad, Ah Seng or Samy in the real sense.
At the end of the day and after the 'ceramah' on stage, it all boils down to ringgits and sens. Why do you think politicians spare no quarter in making 'maximum impact' with their fiery speeches and exhortations?
Nothing beats rousing up the poor and the downtrodden to lift their sorry asses on those folks shoulders and pose for the press!
There's always an unspoken agenda at hand. Fill thy pockets! Make sure that it gets full!!!
Malaysians really need to wake up to the outrageous reality that is being shoved upon us by the contending parties in this pending 12th General Elections!
Realizing the consequences of allowing certain families try to build their own political dynasties in both the BN @ Barisan Nasional and the Opposition Barisan Rakyat.
I see Abdullah Badawi endorsing his son-in-law Khairy Jamaludin to run for office in Rembau.
So are many other BN leaders who are happily backing up their sons and daughters to replace them in their seats of power.
Ling Liong Sik has his sons in the MCA. Mahathir now has Mukhriz running for office in Jerlun.
Even the infamous Zakaria Mad Derus has his daughter in law running for office this time around and in Sarawak we have Taib Mahmud's son trying to replace him.
Samy Vellu's son Velpari is also calling the shots in the MIC. So none can deny these dynasty set ups in the government and also in the other side of the fence.
Not forgetting our former 'randy andy' ex Health Minister Chua Soi Lek who has his son running for election at Labis, Johor. Dynasties par excellence, eh?
The Opposition aren't exactly squeaky clean apostles of goodness either.
We see Lim Kit Siang & Son Lim Guan Eng running their own dynasty in the DAP. Karpal Singh & Son Gobind Singh Deo trying to keep up with the Lim's.
Anwar Ibrahim & Family establishing their own personal empire of political power in the PKR!
He first had his wife hold the fort for him in Permatang Pauh and because of the legal restrictions of him running for election this season, is now all for his eldest daughter stake her claim for political power in Bangsar!
What the hell is this people?
Our own live version of the all time longest running soap opera as in 'Dynasty'?
Sheeessshhh!!! I just hope that all these power hungry folks will not suck the nation dry and spit it out after they are done?
Whatever it is, I pray for the safety and wellbeing of this country. May Allah save us all! Ameen.
Malaysian Comedy Court's Election Video Gift!
You sure are gonna love these humorous video clips by our homegrown Comedy Court Royalty's Allan Perera and Indi Nadarajah.
What fitting videos to ease up Malaysians rising blood pressures and temperatures during this obviously testing times!
Malaysiakini is sure rife with all the latest happenings and we sure thank you guys for keeping us updated as to who's doing what?
Humor when applied appropriately surely becomes our much needed panacea after the rising nausea from looking at stubborn old dinosaurs who continue to roam the Malaysian Electoral pastures without the slightest concern about the brickbats and curses flying their way.
Must be the bloody thick hides accumulated over the decades of plastering their posteriors into the seats of power!
Jokes aside, the future of our country is not something to laugh about? Unless of course, we are okay with another term of rising prices, not to mention rising temperatures, emotions, protests, etc.
Those of us who know what the chaps everyone are pissed off with have done and are guilty of pulling a fast one on the nation, ought to know better than to keep voting them back into power!
Nevertheless, I sure hope that Malaysians have come to their senses in knowing to vote ONLY for fresh young bloods who can do their jobs instead of cock & bull spewers who have had it their way for so long at the expense of the general Malaysian public!
We do not need arrogant recalcitrants threatening the people in Parliament and insulting all Malaysians into thinking that without these numbskull's, the nation will go under!
No one is indispensable! No one!
Do not waste your precious votes on all those who have bullshitted and lied their way to the top!
Remember, you have the power to decide where this nation is headed to?
Base your decisions on the candidates track records. It's the individual who makes up the party and not the other way around.
Vote for change and kick out the dinosaurs. You know who they are?
No sleepyheads. No gender insulter's. No has beens. No blabber mouth's who threatens us.
May all Malaysians vote sensibly this time around!
In the meantime, listen to the video and ponder on the lyrics.
Humorous but it can be humerus! Get the drift?
Truth smashing to the bones!
Samy Vellu & Khir Toyo get a taste of Makkal Sakthi!
It seems that Malaysian Indians have run out of patience with these two BN leaders who have been the root cause of their problems lately!
As you can see in this video clip that will never see the light of day in the main BN controlled RTM1, TV3 or NTV7 television stations, have been shared here with us by WTV8, the independent web based media.
We have to acknowledge that our Malaysian Indians have been subject to injustice by the BN Government for so long and right now, nothing can stop them from rising up to demand for the Malaysian Government to be fair to them.
HINDRAF may be a bit outrageous in their demands but then again the nation must come to terms that the Malaysian Indians are discriminated and marginalized in many areas.
Samy Vellu and Khir Toyo had it coming when they both got caught up in the sea of raging emotions of a people who have just had enough of being shortchanged in the BN Government's rule of over 5 decades.
If they are not appeased by corrective actions by the Malaysian Government after this 12th General Election, I foresee more eruptions of public unrest and civil protests by the Malaysians of Indian origin.
I came across these videos produced by those who have no other avenues to express themselves except through the internet and by way of You Tube and also Google Video.
In a sense, the narrator is sharing with the viewers of the heartaches that the Malaysian Indians especially the grassroots have suffered all these while as a result of the MIC's ignoring their plight and just painting a rosy picture when speaking to the press and media.
By the advent of the internet and by way of these videos, everyone can now watch the realities of life that the Malaysian Indians who were born here and worked for a menial pay live in abject poverty and live a miserable life all these years under Samy Vellu who has shortchanged them and bullshitted his way whilst being in power.
He is still seeking re-election in Sg.Siput; so is Khir Toyo and many others who have blood on their hands. Whose blood? Well, all those folks who have died in police custody, beaten to a pulp and have had their lives and limbs smashed when they had no choice but to gather in protest against injustice.
These videos are heart wrenching and makes me feel both ashamed and very sad to see this happening to our fellow Malaysians. We can't call ourselves humans if we aren't touched or affected by such scenes. Irrespective of our ethnicity or faith.
I confess to wiping away my tears seeing these videos. Malaysiakini ought to host them for all to see and reflect upon as to the reasons why our fellow Malaysians are so worked up?
This is our country and these are our fellow Malaysians. No one should have to suffer like these in this country which is the birthplace of all of us. We are all the sons and daughters of this land.
If our leaders are truly compassionate as they claim to be, please accept and acknowledge these violations against the people and do your best to stop these injustices and be fair to all.
Islam is the Way of Life that Allah the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful has revealed to us.
Being cruel to the poor and oppressed has no place in actual Islamic teachings. Be fair to all.
Even these Malaysian Hindus have their rights to be protected and given help to live their lives in a better condition than what they are caught in right now by the Malaysian Government.
Where else can they go? This is their country as well. We are all Malaysians and I am sure that we have the means to live and let live in this temporal world.
The Malaysian Indians ought to have a better more responsible leader. Change for the Indians is inevitable.
The situations that led to the HINDRAF uprising was just like an accumulation of the people's dissatisfactions which swelled up over time and the result is all part of our nation's history.
Abdullah Badawi if re-elected as the Malaysian Prime Minister must seriously change this sorry state of affairs or stand accused of irresponsible governance over the people and caused so many to suffer as a result of weak leadership in the hereafter before the Almighty!
I am sure that we can see to it that everyone gets a better future after this election. Failing which, the Malaysian Government will be held responsible if anarchy takes place due to their recalcitrant ways in not acknowledging the wrongs that have been taking place in this nation and hush hushed by the culprits concerned.
Samy Vellu must answer for his sins against his people. These videos are living proof of that.
May peace be upon Malaysians, no matter who you are? Ameen.
When righteous Malaysian Muslims are labelled as 'Talibans'.
I refer to the recent demands by the Malaysian based ACCIN @ Allied Coordinating Committee of Islamic NGO's to the soon to be formed new Malaysian Government after the General Elections results are announced on the 8th of March, 2008.
For quite some time now, it has been an annoying trend by certain Islamophobic Non Muslims to provoke and instigate social and civil unrest amongst the populace by launching a psychological warfare through the Malaysian Blogosphere against Muslim organizations such as the ones unified under the ACCIN umbrella.
The attacks and insults from the blogging Islamophobes is getting more offensive and bordering on outright vulgar behavior of the foul mannered, guttersnipe's, hate mongering bloggers by the day!
Members of ACCIN are moderate, decent, law abiding Muslims who are just watching out for the rights of Muslims and trying to protect and preserve the sanctity of Islamic values and future of the Believers.
The foul manner of writing baseless hate filled venom against Muslims is so obvious by the choice of abusive words and expressions that is published in such blogs. I am sure that you will know which blogs fall into that category?
Unlike them, we are prohibited by our faith of Islam to reciprocate in equally offensive terms and are enjoined to remain civil as best as we can.
The Prophet Eesa ibnu Maryam Alaihis Salam @ Jesus Christ, Son of Mary ( May peace be upon him) advised, "Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast your pearls before the swine, lest haply they trample them under their feet, and turn and rend you" meaning that we should not bother trying to advice or attempt to make sense to those foul mannered people for instead of appreciating such good advice, they will turn around and abuse us.
The thing is that just because Muslims have been remaining patient despite being insulted day in day out by these vicious brutes, they seem to think that they can get away with it and continue to provoke and lambaste us Muslims as they please?
It is only sabr @ patience that enables us to look the other way and avoid confrontation with these swines in human form. Not that I like referring to them in such a way but at times one has to call a spade just that. I am sorry for that.
I am sure that deep down beneath that angry, abusive character, some of them are just decent but confused folks.
If given an opportunity to sit down and discuss matters in a proper manner, they will be able to understand the real situation about Islam and the way things are here in Malaysia?
It is fortunate that the number of peaceful, law abiding good natured folks amongst the general Non Muslim Malaysians outnumber them and for that we are able to co-exist in relative peace despite the outrageous attacks that these enemies of Islam launch vehemently against us through their blogs and writings.
At times we see such decent folks voice their concerns amicably through sites such as Malaysiakini.
These are the ones I am referring to. Good natured caring people. Concerned they may be but they do not lose their rationality when responding to or in the manner that they raise their grievances. May Allah bless them. Ameen.
There are also the odd calls and attacks made against ACCIN members by those who label themselves as our fellow Muslims but who in reality do not live according to Islamic principles and values!
These are the ones whom we can clearly say are the backstabber's of the Ummah. In other words, traitors to Islam and are more apt to be termed as the Munafiks @ Hypocrites.
They term us as 'Talibans'. Utterly ridiculous! How misguided can they be? Na'uzubillah!
Anyway, one has to know that the meaning of 'Taliban' is a student of religious knowledge and should not be used to refer to us here in Malaysia. Not in the negative connotation that they imply anyway.
We are all enriching ourselves with the teachings of Islam 24/7 and try our best to live according to Allah's Commandments. Nothing wrong in trying to be good Muslims, isn't it?
To insinuate that by asking for our rights to be respected and observed, we are 'Talibans' as what they refer to the ones who ruled over Afghanistan and practiced the severest interpretation of their version of the Syariah is just not right or fair to us in the first place?
We who are Muslims here in Malaysia have yet to go bomb any Non Muslim's church or temple!
We have yet to go around massacring anyone in the name of Islam! May Allah forbid!
To have our fellow Malaysians resort to such baseless name calling is really something so sad that they have come to these sorry state of biased thinkings and conjuring up nightmarish scenarios in their befuddled excuses for brains!
They must be victims of dementia, a self imagined mental state of nightmarish illusions which is not real but purely a product of their Islamophobic delusions.
They fail to see the reality around them and picture life here in Malaysia to be hellish when rational folks all over the world flock to our shores in search of peace and tranquility.
Many have come to settle down here after realizing that Malaysia is a haven of peace and there are lots of opportunities to those who are enterprising and strive to improve their lot.
It's all a matter of perception. If one looks for the plus points of anything, one is sure bound to find it.
The problem arises when one's heart and mind is so full of hate and enmity that it escapes their perception and they see only what they will themselves to see?
At the end of the day, these troubled souls only see demons in place of angels and they end up as demented schizophrenics ranting and raving like mad against anyone who is a Muslim.
I feel sad to see such folks amongst our midst. I can only feel sorry for them for living in a world full of hate and suspicions.
I am glad however that amongst those who are Non Muslim bloggers, there are still many who know that things aren't that bad here for us and learn to express their views in a manner that is both good and thought provoking.
I would like to assure the Non Muslims of Malaysia that ACCIN and its member bodies of Islamic NGO's are only watching out for the rights of the Muslims and not at the expense of encroaching into your rights to live according to your faiths.
If you do worry about any of the demands in the ACCIN's list, you may write to us and tell us as to what your concern is in a civil manner?
Insya Allah @ God Willing, we can explain to you the reasons behind our asking the future Malaysian Government so?
May peace reign here in Malaysia especially amongst us the good citizens of this multi-ethnic, multi-faithed country.
I hope that instead of insults , our fellow bloggers would take positive steps to engage in meaningful, constructive dialogues with members of ACCIN who would be more than happy to explain to you about our stand on the issues raised in the list of demands to the future Government of Malaysia.
Click here and send in your questions or comments if you feel you need further info on the matter.
I am sure that ACCIN will be able to respond to you accordingly.
If you do not get a prompt answer, feel free to address them to me. Please keep your comments civil and address the matter in a manner befitting your status as decent human beings. Thanks.
I will pass on your message to the President of ACCIN who is also the President of ABIM, Brother Yusri Mohamad. Insya Allah.
Take care and have a nice day.
**********************************************************************************
Please be informed that I will only respond to bloggers who actually are one and not entertain anymore anonymous commenter's. Not really keen to talk to the invincible's. :P
If you are a bona fide blogger, by all means please put forth your comments and viewpoints in an acceptable manner befitting our position as responsible Malaysian bloggers. Thank you for your co-operation.
Best regards,
Mahaguru58.
Tuntutan Pertubuhan-pertubuhan Islam kepada Kerajaan Malaysia yang bakal dilantik.
Pengisytiharan Dokumen PILIHANRAYA KE-12 ASPIRASI & TUNTUTAN PERTUBUHAN-PERTUBUHAN ISLAM MALAYSIA
KEPADA:
CALON-CALON PILIHANRAYA (PARLIMEN & DUN)
PERTUBUHAN PARTI-PARTI POLITIK MALAYSIA
KERAJAAN YANG BAKAL DIBENTUK (PUSAT & NEGERI)
PEMIMPIN MASYARAKAT
& RAKYAT MALAYSIA
PILIHANRAYA UMUM KE-12:TUNTUTAN PERTUBUHAN-PERTUBUHAN ISLAM MALAYSIA
BISMILLĀHIRRAHMĀNIRRAHĪM
Dengan Nama Allah Yang Maha Pemurah Lagi Maha Penyayang
MENYEDARI bahawa nilai-nilai Islam yang luhur merupakan ciri terpenting dalam pembentukan masyarakat Islam yang bermaruah dan peranan pemimpin amat penting dalam membentuk dan mencorakkan masyarakat ini.
MENERIMA hakikat bahawa Malaysia merupakan sebuah negara yang mengamalkan sistem demokrasi berparlimen yang memberikan peluang kepada rakyat untuk memilih kerajaan melalui proses pilihanraya.
MENGINSAFI bahawa hak untuk memilih kerajaan melalui proses pilihan raya perlulah dilaksanakan dengan penuh rasa sedar dan tanggungjawab.
MEYAKINI bahawa rakyat mempunyai kebebasan untuk memilih sebuah kerajaan yang baik dan berupaya untuk memenuhi aspirasi mereka.
Pertubuhan-pertubuhan Islam arus perdana, tokoh-tokoh masyarakat dan individu-individu yang prihatin mempertegaskan tuntutan-tuntutan berikut:
1.Mendaulatkan Islam Melalui Undang-Undang dan Pelaksanaannya
Islam mempunyai kedudukan yang istimewa dalam sistem politik dan undang-undang di Malaysia. Perlembagaan Malaysia mengiktiraf Islam sebagai Agama Persekutuan dan memperakui status institusi-institusi Islam serta memberi kuasa kepada mahkamah-mahkamah syariah untuk melaksanakan undang-undang Islam.
Kami menuntut agar kerajaan yang bakal dipilih:
1.1 Mempertegaskan bahawa Malaysia adalah sebuah negara majoriti Islam yang mengiktiraf peranan penting agama Islam dalam sistem politik, ekonomi dan undang-undang negara. Segala tuntutan untuk menjadikan Malaysia sebagai sebuah negara sekular mesti ditolak. Ini termasuk tuntutan untuk mewujudkan Suruhanjaya Antara Agama (IFC) yang bertujuan mempromosi hak kebebasan beragama berlandaskan faham sekular-liberal dan saranan penubuhan Jabatan Hal Ehwal Bukan Islam.
1.2 Mempertahan dan mendaulatkan kesucian Islam serta menghormati kedudukan Islam sebagai Agama Persekutuan sepertimana yang diperuntukkan di bawah Perkara 3 Perlembagaan Persekutuan.
Sebarang tindakan mempersendakan Islam secara lisan, cetak atau melalui media elektronik dan media siber, perlu ditangani secara tegas dan serius mengikut peruntukan di bawah Seksyen 298A Kanun Keseksaan.
1.3 Mempertahan dan memperkasakan kedudukan serta bidang kuasa Mahkamah Syariah sepertimana yang diperuntukkan di bawah Perkara 121 (1A) dan Jadual Kesembilan Perlembagaan Persekutuan.
Sebarang pertikaian undang-undang yang berkaitan dengan agama Islam hanya dibicarakan di Mahkamah Syariah.
Kami juga menuntut:
(a) Memperluaskan bidangkuasa jenayah dan mal mahkamah syariah di Malaysia melalui pindaan kepada Akta Bidangkuasa Jenayah (Mahkamah Syariah) 1984 dan Enakmen Pentadbiran Agama Islam negeri-negeri.
(b) Menyamatarafkan Mahkamah Syariah dengan Mahkamah Sivil dari segi perjawatan, penggajian dan kedudukan.
(c) Menyeragamkan undang-undang Islam di seluruh negara.
(d) Mewujudkan Akta Profession Guaman Syarie bagi memperkemaskan penyeliaan Peguam-Peguam Syarie seluruh negara.
1.4 Segera menggubal dan mewartakan undang-undang menghalang kegiatan penyebaran agama bukan Islam di kalangan umat Islam di Sabah, Sarawak, Perlis, Pulau Pinang dan Wilayah Persekutuan, selaras dengan Perkara 11(4) Perlembagaan Persekutuan.
Kami menyatakan kekecewaan atas kegagalan negeri-negeri di atas yang sehingga kini masih gagal menggubal dan mewartakan undang-undang tersebut.
1.5 Meningkatkan tahap keberkesanan dan profesionalisme agensi-agensi Islam kerajaan dalam mendaulatkan Islam di Malaysia.
Kami menuntut peruntukan yang disalurkan kepada agensi-agensi tersebut digunakan dan diuruskan secara optima dan berkesan.
1.6 Memandangkan pengiktirafan “halal” menjadi satu tanda aras kepada kualiti dan kebersihan makanan untuk umat Islam dan bukan Islam, serta membuka pasaran yang lebih luas, kami menuntut agar Akta Makanan dan Pemprosesan Halal digubal supaya penguatkuasaan perihal makanan halal diketatkan dan mereka yang menyalahgunakan tanda halal dikenakan hukuman berat, termasuk hukuman disenarai-hitam dan pemiliknya dihukum penjara.
1.7 Mengambil tindakan tegas termasuk membatalkan lesen perniagaan mana-mana majikan yang menyukarkan atau menghalang pekerja-pekerja Islam daripada mengamalkan tuntutan-tuntutan Islam seperti pemakaian tudung, menutup aurat, menunaikan solat dan lain-lain syiar Islam.
Kami menyeru agar tindakan diambil bagi memboikot syarikat-syarikat yang mengamalkan dasar diskriminasi ini.
2. Pendidikan dan Da’wah
Seorang Muslim yang baik lebih dapat diharapkan untuk menjadi seorang warganegara yang baik. Proses pembentukan peribadi dan jatidiri Muslim yang baik perlu dilaksanakan melalui sistem pendidikan yang mementingkan pendidikan Islam dan penerapan nilai-nilai Islam.
Dengan itu umat Islam di negara ini menuntut agar kerajaan yang bakal dipilih:
2.1 Memperkasa pendidikan Islam dalam sistem pendidikan nasional. Ini termasuk menambah waktu pengajaran Islam di sekolah-sekolah rendah dan menengah kebangsaan.
2.2 Mengambil langkah-langkah yang lebih agresif bagi menjadikan Malaysia pusat antarabangsa bagi kecemerlangan pendidikan Islam perkembangan keilmuan Islam.
Bagi tujuan ini, kerajaan digesa mewujudkan geran khas penyelidikan ilmu-ilmu Islam serta menubuhkan Institusi-institusi pendidikan tinggi dan penyelidikan Islam bertaraf antarabangsa dalam bidang-bidang khusus seperti pendidikan teknologi, pengurusan dan seumpamanya.
2.3 Meningkatkan mutu dan kualiti institusi pendidikan tinggi dan Universiti agar mampu menjadi pusat kecemerlangan ilmu yang melahirkan graduan yang berkualiti. IPT dan Universiti perlu diberikan autonomi, kebebasan intelektual dan akademik bagi memastikan institusi dan universiti tersebut boleh berfungsi dengan lebih baik dalam masyarakat.
Kini banyak munculnya IPTA dan IPTS yang diwujudkan tanpa penekanan khusus dari segi kualiti dan mutu pendidikan institusi tersebut.
2.4 Mengiktiraf peranan institusi pendidikan agama rakyat termasuk dengan engembalikan serta menambah bantuan perkapita kepada Sekolah-Sekolah Agama Rakyat (SAR) serta memberikan bantuan buku teks secara percuma kepada para pelajar SAR.
2.5 Mengembalikan pengajaran dan pembelajaran matapelajaran Sains dan Matematik di sekolah-sekolah dalam Bahasa Melayu.
2.6 Menghentikan amalan Kementerian Pelajaran Malaysia yang tidak memberi peluang kepada murid-murid cemerlang UPSR dan PMR dari sekolah-sekolah agama swasta untuk memasuki sekolah-sekolah berasrama penuh di bawah kelolaan Kementerian Pelajaran dan MARA.
Jabatan-jabatan Pelajaran Negeri juga digesa menghentikan amalan melarang murid-murid sekolah agama swasta yang memenangi mana-mana pertandingan ko-kurikulum di peringkat negeri daripada mewakili negeri ke peringkat kebangsaan.
Ini memandangkan kecemerlangan dalam aktiviti ko-kurikulum turut diambil kira dalam kemasukan pelajar-pelajar ke institusi-institusi pengajian tinggi tempatan.
2.7 Kemudahan biasiswa yang dinikmati oleh pelajar-pelajar Melayu perlu diberikan kepada pelajar-pelajar Islam yang bukan berketurunan Melayu.
Di samping itu, kerajaan digesa menambah jumlah penerima biasiswa Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA) di kalangan pelajar-pelajar Islam/Melayu yang cemerlang untuk melanjutkan pengajian ke luar negara.
Amalan pemberian biasiswa JPA kepada pelajar-pelajar bukan Islam sejak akhir-akhir ini tidak sepatutnya menjejaskan peluang pelajar Islam/Melayu yang cemerlang untuk mendapat tajaan.
2.8 Menggesa Kementerian Pelajaran agar tidak tunduk kepada desakan kelompok sekular dan bukan Islam agar supaya amalan-amalan Islam di sekolah-sekolah kebangsaan dihentikan atas alasan untuk mengelakkan berlakunya pemisahan kaum dan agama.
Amalan seperti bacaan doa dan sambutan perayaan Hari Kebesaran Islam wajar diteruskan kerana amalan-amalan murni ini adalah sebahagian daripada ciri tradisi ke-Malaysiaan dan tidak sepatutnya menjejaskan keharmonian hubungan kaum dan agama.
2.9 Selaras dengan tanggungjawab menyuruh yang baik dan mencegah yang mungkar (al-amr bil ma’rÅ«f wa al-nahy Û¦an al-munkar) kerajaan dituntut untuk memperkasakan usaha-usaha da’wah islamiah, terutamanya menerusi kerjasama lebih erat dengan pertubuhan-pertubuhan Islam di negara ini termasuk dengan membuka ruang aktiviti dan memberi peruntukan khas untuk membantu aktiviti yang dijalankan.
2.10 Memastikan pimpinan Kementerian Penerangan serta agensi yang berkaitan dengan penyiaran sentiasa peka dengan aspirasi dan sensitiviti umat Islam dalam merangka dasar penyiaran serta sentiasa mengutamakan program yang mampu membina masyarakat berakhlak mulia.
2.11 Memperbanyakkan program-program berunsur pendidikan Islam dan moral di stesen-stesen televisyen kerajaan dan swasta.
Program-program Islam hendaklah disiarkan pada waktu puncak (prime time) bukan waktu tengah malam atau awal pagi. Azan hendaklah disiarkan pada setiap waktu solat.
2.12 Menghentikan program-program hiburan yang mempromosi budaya hedonisme Barat. Ini termasuklah program-program hiburan realiti yang semakin mendapat tempat di stesyen-stesyen televisyen tempatan.
Stesen televisyen khas untuk umat Islam perlu diwujudkan.
2.13 Stesyen televisyen swasta perlu mendukung aspirasi Dasar Kebudayaan Kebangsaan dan Dasar Pendidikan Kebangsaan dalam pemilihan program mereka.
Kami menuntut agar kerajaan mengambil tindakan tegas termasuk menggantung atau menarik balik lesen penyiaran ke atas stesyen televisyen swasta yang melanggar etika ini.
3. Sistem Politik dan Tadbirurus yang Baik
Sistem politik dan tadbirurus yang baik merupakan syarat utama kejayaan dan kelangsungan sesebuah negara.
Kebajikan rakyat akan terbela dengan kewujudan sistem politik yang adil, tadbirurus yang baik dan sistem penyampaian yang cekap. Oleh yang demikian, usaha-usaha mewujudkan sistem politik dan tadbirurus yang baik perlu dipergiatkan melalui tindakan-tindakan berikut:
4.1 Meningkatkan usaha membanteras amalan rasuah dan salah guna kuasa di kalangan penjawat-penjawat awam.
Pihak swasta yang menawarkan rasuah sebagai suatu budaya perlu dihukum secara tegas dengan mengheret pihak syarikat untuk turut bertanggungjawab.
4.2 Hanya melantik penjawat-penjawat awam dan pemimpin-pemimpin kanan kerajaan dari kalangan mereka yang terbukti bersih daripada amalan rasuah, salah guna kuasa dan salah laku moral.
4.3 Meningkatkan penghayatan nilai-nilai Islam di kalangan kakitangan awam dengan memperbanyakkan program-program penghayatan Islam di jabatan-jabatan kerajaan.
4.4 Menuntut agar penjawat awam perlu mengishtiharkan harta secara terbuka kepada masyarakat awam dan rakyat bagi menjamin ketelusan serta keyakinan masyarakat.
4.5 Menuntut kerajaan melantik senator daripada kalangan pemimpin-pemimpin pertubuhan Islam untuk memberi ruang sewajarnya, terhadap isu-isu berkaitan kepentingan umat Islam di negara ini.
5. Memperkasa Masyarakat Sivil dan Menjamin Amalan Demokrasi
Negara demokrasi yang stabil wujud apabila kerajaan dibentuk hasil daripada mandat rakyat dengan institusi-institusi masyarakat sivil diberi ruang yang luas untuk berperanan aktif dalam memperkasakan masyarakat dan membangunkan negara.
Keabsahan autoriti politik pemerintah bergantung kepada keterbukaan ruang demokrasi, kesediaan pemerintah untuk bersikap responsif terhadap tuntutan rakyat dan kemampuan pemerintah menjamin keselamatan dan keamanan dalam negara.
Oleh yang demikian, upaya pemurnian amalan demokrasi dan peranan masyarakat sivil perlu dilaksanakan dengan tindakan-tindakan berikut:
5.1 Mempastikan adanya sistem pilihanraya yang benar-benar bersih, bebas dan adil. Suruhanjaya Pilihanraya mestilah berwibawa, bebas dan tidak menyebelahi mana-mana parti politik.
5.2 Hanya memilih calon-calon pilihanraya dari kalangan mereka yang berintegriti, berkemampuan dan berpekerti mulia.
5.3 Memastikan pemerintah melaksanakan kuasa berdasarkan prinsip keluhuran perlembagaan dan kedaulatan undang-undang.
5.4 Membuka ruang yang luas kepada institusi-institusi masyarakat sivil untuk berperanan aktif dalam proses pemerkasaan masyarakat dan pembangunan negara.
6. Hubungan Kaum dan Agama
Sebagai sebuah negara majoriti Islam yang mempunyai rakyat berbilang kaum dan agama, keharmonian hubungan kaum dan agama merupakan ramuan utama kestabilan politik dan ketenteraman awam.
Prinsip-prinsip utama kontrak sosial yang menjamin keharmonian hubungan kaum dan agama perlu dihormati oleh semua pihak.
Justeru, kami mempertegaskan untuk menolak segala bentuk ekstremisme agama dan kaum yang sempit. Oleh yang demikian, adalah penting untuk pemimpin politik dan rakyat negara ini:
6.1 Mempertingkatkan komitmen terhadap keharmonian hubungan kaum dan agama.
6.2 Menolak parti-parti politik dan pemimpin politik yang tidak sensitif dengan kedudukan istimewa Islam di Malaysia dan mereka yang mempromosi hak individu dan kebebasan beragama tanpa batas yang bertentangan dengan nilai moral dan agama yang dipegang oleh majoriti masyarakat Islam di negara ini.
6.3 Menguatkuasa dengan tegas peraturan membina rumah ibadat tanpa mengira agama.
Jika pihak berkuasa tegas melaksanakan peraturan membina surau dan masjid, mereka nampaknya lemah apabila berhadapan dengan pembinaan sesetengahnya rumah ibadat agama lain.
6.4 Memastikan pembinaan rumah-rumah ibadat mengambilkira sensitiviti masyarakat setempat di samping mematuhi peruntukan undang-undang.
Satu jawatankuasa yang dianggotai oleh wakil-wakil pertubuhan Islam dan pihak berkuasa tempatan perlu dibentuk untuk memperhalusi permohonan pembinaan rumah ibadat bukan Islam di kawasan majoriti Islam.
7. Akidah dan Moral
Memelihara kesucian akidah dan ketinggian moral merupakan tanggungjawab paling utama setiap individu Muslim dan tanggungjawab kolektif masyarakat Islam.
Pertubuhan-pertubuhan Islam menuntut kerajaan yang bakal dipilih:
7.1 Menolak faham pluralisme agama yang mendakwa bahawa semua agama adalah sama dari segi kebenarannya sehingga menimbulkan kekeliruan di kalangan masyarakat berbilang agama.
7.2 Menolak usaha-usaha pihak tertentu yang cuba mengelirukan akidah umat Islam dengan pelbagai cara.
Ini termasuklah dengan menggunakan perkataan-perkataan khusus seperti “Allah”, “Ka’abah”, “Baitullah” dan “Solat”, yang telah digunapakai secara meluas oleh masyarakat Islam, untuk merujuk kepada konsep-konsep tertentu dalam agama bukan Islam.
7.3 Menambah bilangan pegawai penguatkuasa agama dan meningkatkan tahap profesionalisme mereka dalam membanteras gejala maksiat dan salah laku moral.
Kerajaan hendaklah melaksanakan undang-undang anti-maksiat yang sedia ada dengan tegas, telus dan berkesan.
Reminiscing - Life in the 60s at my village in Penang.
I grew up in the days when Rock & Roll was the order of the day and as a kid, used to look in bewilderment at the elders in my village go around looking like rock stars..hehehehehe.
My village was by the seashore of the then unpolluted seas off the Jelutong foreshore. The seawaters back then was still swimmable and schools of various kinds of fish used to come swimming close ashore.
Me and my best kampong buddy Wan Ali used to lay out the fishing nets out at sea before the tide came in and used to collect lots of 'ikan belanak' which we would proudly bring back to our homes and have them fried or cooked.
There was this sort of a kampong club called 'DAKOTAS' which was sort of a members only spot where the elders in my kampong used to hang out, playing 'dam' @ checkers, and in those days they would be smoking marijuana openly by way of rolled up palm leaf cigarettes consisting of 'tembakau jawa' @ Javanese Tobacco and just smoke away as they pleased.
Villagers just let them be and minded their own business. It was like sort of taken for granted that it was the 'in thing' to do for young adults back then to indulge in all that. People weren't that religious back then I guess. I was just a young kid, happy to go fishing as I pleased and to play with my friends after school till sunset.
That 'DAKOTAS' term stood for 'Dalam Kota Ta'at Setia'. My village is called Jalan Kota Giam and is the last Malay kampong before the advent of the stretch of Chinese fishing villages that start with our neighbouring Jalan Tokong Batu and all the way to Weld Quay.
Members of DAKOTAS used to put up a stage come every Hari Raya and they had at times engaged local bands which we called 'kugirans' @ 'Kumpulan Gitar Rancak'. I recall one famous local singer they used to engage. The fella was called 'Rocky Din'. He had a squint and always wore dark sunglasses to hide his eyes! :P
The band practiced at a club they owned besides the Jelutong Police Station and close to my primary school @ Jelutong English School where I studied from 1965 to 1970.
I walked to school from my home and thus used to pass by their jamming area. Sometimes I would stop and watch them practicing. Such was the life back then. Sort of laidback and easy.
As I grew older, I started listening to English songs and among them are these classics. Bad Company and Deep Purple were the top bands that everyone listened to and the DAKOTAS club used to play their records over the cone speakers they had installed at the place.
It was records back then. Black vinyl records on 45rpm speed with the needle. Gramophones. Things that are now considered as collector's items and quite hard to come by. Those were the days.
We didn't have even a radio back then. What more a tv? By that I mean, even a black & white tv.
Only the rich ones amongst the villagers had all that. Having a transistor radio was already considered hip and those who had them were sort of proud and smug in their attitudes.
I used to watch tv at my religious teacher's home. Pak Chak @ Zakaria owned both a radio and black & white tv set. My Qur'an teacher was Tok Hawa. I learned how to recite the Qur'an from her and at times when I watch the classic black & white P.Ramlee movies, could recall how it was for us back then?
'Wrestling from Chicago' was a hot tv program and us villagers used to camp out at the window of Pak Chak's house to watch it. Those who arrived early got to place their wooden stools near the window and get to view the program without having to dodge people's head.
Latecomers had to stand and try to catch a glimpse of the wrestling program. Those who got to enter Pak Chak's living room and sat on the floor had to watch out for his feet. The man would be so fixated on the action going on the tube that when he was carried away with the action on the screen, he would kick away as if he was the one taking part in the match!!! Hahahahaha!
We would all break into laughter when that happens! Pity the chap who had to suffer Pak Chak's kick which would have the victim howling in pain and Pak Chak would sort of realize what he had done and would be apologizing profusely to the chap whilst we would be laughing out hysteriously with glee, witnessing the 'live action' before us! Hohohohoho!
As I became a teenager, I got better in my English and enjoyed listening to groups such as Bad Company, Deep Purple and Santana. These was due to my exposure to all such music being played by the DAKOTAS elders.
One of my favourites. 'Seagull' by Bad Company. Thanks to You Tube, I get to enjoy listening to these songs as I do my work. Songs written back then were much more enjoyable and nice to listen to.
Back then, I had no access to radio or television for we were too poor to afford one. I used to read books from the library or even old newspapers that the village Chinese sundry shop owner used to package groceries.
So when I got a chance to listen to such songs, I'd reflect on the meanings of the lyrics and be transported to the endless realm of the mind and sort of 'escape' from my surroundings.
Whenever I read story books or novels, I would be really engrossed in the contents of the book and imagine myself living out the story as it unfolds. Hehehehehe...life!
Music nowadays is different and not really that pleasant to listen to. That's why at times I would reflect back to the times of before and reminisce about the good old days.
Portals of my mind, eh?
'Smoke on the water' by the band Deep Purple used to rule the airwaves of my village when the chaps at DAKOTAS broadcasted it live through the loudspeakers during festivities.
There must be some amongst you who would find it hard to believe that Mahaguru58 listens to Deep Purple? My favourite ones are 'Highway Star', 'Stormbringer', 'Child in Time', 'Burn',etc.
Hehehehe..what do you expect? I am from that era. The era where they reigned supreme and still do. I am sure that those in my age group can identify to all that took place back then and remember the way things were.
Cheers.
Go Samy! Go! Go!, Go Samy! Go! Go! Go!, Go Samy for good!
Hehehehehe! Do you remember Chuck Berry's famous song," Johnnie B.Goode "?
Well here's a clip of him performing that all time rock & roll hit care of You Tube for you to enjoy!
Now, with the current mood swing against the ever so stubborn infamous MIC b'leader Samy Vellu who despite all the insults, all the curses, all the name calling from the very Malaysian Indian community who have been screaming obscenities to his face, the recalcitrant old fella refuses to fold up and go!
It has come to this extent of open displays of hatred towards Samy Vellu that even many Indians are writing to Malaysiakini and expressing their frustrations to see the man still stubbornly ignoring all calls for him to go!
Just wondering how it must be if the lyrics of Chuck Berry's famous hit here has it's chorus changed to 'Go Samy! Go! Go!, Go Samy! Go! Go! Go!, Go Samy for good!'?
You think the fella will get the message? Hehehehehe....from the looks of it, no way!
I just don't understand how someone can be so thick skinned?
A politician who is on record of having the most insults thrown to him and even to his face can still have the gall to remain in office and seek another term after having wasted 30 over years of doing what for the Malaysian Indians?
If he has done good for his people, they would have even cast a statue of him and deitify the fellow!
The reality speaks otherwise! He is being heckled, has been surrounded by angry violent crowds of Malaysian Indians who would waste no time in beating the crap out of him if they weren't held off by the police and security guards who have to be there wherever he goes!
Malaysian Indians love him as he claims? Yeah right!
Let's see what is his fate on the 8th of March?
Are Malaysian Indians being systematically harrassed?
Picture of Brother Murali a.k.a. Gangeticus. He is a Yogi @ Yoga master , a 3D Internet Content Creator@ 'Software Engineer', Mathematician, Single Malaysian Blogger to boot. :P Source of photo.
This is in response to my friend and fellow Malaysian blogger Gangeticus with regard to several points and questions that he has written to me in his comment here about the current situation involving the problems being faced by Malaysian Indians and what he sees as an agenda by some 'parties' that are:
  • anti his religion,
  • going around destroying temples,
  • openly destroying the lives of his fellow adherents
  • openly lying about the Malaysian Indians @ HINDRAF "deeds".
He further states that the hatred for his religion @ Hinduism is being cultivated early, through manipulation of the Malaysian school curriculum and the pure hatred spewed out by the teachers themselves.
He stated something about not seeing the DAP questioning that agenda of the 'authorities' but rather just carrying out some rhetoric and calling for debate about the matter if I am reading his words correctly?
He further stated that maybe he should be using 'my method' in combating those folks and asked me whether he was right?
Well, frankly speaking I am not attached to the authorities in any way and all his questions seem to be really those that maybe the Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs should be responding to?
Nevertheless, this is what I have to say on my part as a Malaysian Blogger and one who does keep track of all that's taking place in our nation.
Let me attempt to share what I have to say about his allegations?
  1. 'Malaysian Authorities' being anti his religion @ Hinduism.
Now that is really something that sounds a bit preposterous. We all know that the Malaysian nation is a melting pot of various ethnicities and creeds and boasts of some of the grandest religious establishments to be found in this part of the world.
There are thousands of Hindu temples that are to be found all over our country and here in the State of Selangor just besides the MRR2 Highway is to be found the tallest Murugan statue in the world. Read the report here.
Now, if the Malaysian authorities are really having an agenda to deny or phase out Hinduism from this land, would they have allowed the world's tallest statue of a Hindu deity to be erected in the first place?
It is clearly a mistake to say that there is a hidden agenda by certain parties here in Malaysia to deny freedom of worship especially to Malaysia's Hindu citizens just based upon the enforcement acts of the various states local government in seeing to it that illegal temples aren't allowed to remain in lands where such temples have been built without the land owners permission, state lands, and in lands where the standing land laws do not permit any more temples or other religious establishments to be built.
This is from my acquired knowledge of there being zoning regulations covering the matter of raising religious establishments which fall under the jurisdiction of the local authorities and where the rule of law stands supreme.
You can check for yourselves with the relevant land offices.
This is talking about just an example of the religious freedom allowed here in Malaysia, my country and that of my other 26 over million fellow citizens.
So, as a citizen of this glorious nation, I have to say that Brother Murali needs to acknowledge that his assumption of there being a hidden agenda by the Malaysian authorities to purge the land of Hindu temples is a bit far fetched. Sorry bro, can't agree with you on that point.
I'd be ending up publishing lists after lists of Hindu temples and complexes that are found all over Malaysia that my other tasks at hand will never see completion. So please, write off that point! Really!
Not relevant! Just like what that 'Hacks' Judge was infamously so quoted in Anwar's trial! :D
Going around destroying temples.
Same answers as above. Not true.Only illegal temples are targetted for destruction and in most cases, alternative sites were offered by the state governments. Go ask Khir Toyo. The man has the answers for you.
Openly destroying the lives of his fellow adherents @ Hindus.
I think this needs to be answered by the beleagured Godfather of the Malaysian Indian Congress.
Samy Vellu the incumbent Don of the MIC. He knows best. For all I know the fella stands in danger of facing public spitting if he ever steps near any major Indian residential areas following the recent spate of heckling and harassments he has experienced from his fellow Malaysian Indians especially the Hindus.
Openly lying about the Malaysian Indians @ HINDRAF "deeds".
Again, this concerns allegations from one citizen and too broad to be defined and answered. Perhaps the best person to answer this would be either the Inspector General of the Royal Malaysian Police or the Attorney General since this comes under their jurisdiction?
People can say all kinds of things and allege foul play against the authorities of almost each and every nation on Earth.
The question is ' Have we really got grounds to state so? Where's your proof?'
At the end of the day, it is not what we say or state but rather we have really strong, solid evidence to back up our complaints with?
You can read in Malaysiakini and other media websites, a thousand and one complaints daily from bloggers and common citizens but as always, when push comes to shove, nothing materializes from all these reports except and if the relevant authorities really come in and help answer such complaints.
So dear Gangeticus, all I can say is that we need to focus. We need to focus on what's right and what's our priorities?
At the end of the day, each of us have our own obligations to settle and worrying our head off about things that aren't in our control or that we can do something about it is only a bloody waste of our precious time and we really, really need to know that!
Let the ones with the means and the clout go do battle in court. You, me and all others have jobs to do and mouths to feed, etc.
Not happy with the present set up? Go vote for those whom you think might be able to do justice and satisfy everyone!
But then again, is there any guarantee that the ones clamoring for power from both sides are any better from the ones we all know screwed the nation as they pleased?
I surely hope that we do not end up with worse!
May peace be upon you bro and your project a success! Ameen.
Cheers.
Nik Aziz's 'Diarhhrea of the mind' issue : Right or Wrong?
Assalamualaikum.
I have been receiving several interesting comments and viewpoints of those who support PAS's Spiritual Leader Nik Aziz's categorizing UMNO members as 'Orang Utan' for not fulfilling his idea of being the perfect Muslims.
In a sense that opens up a whole lot of cans of worms when one takes it upon himself to judge other Muslims as to whether they are in the same categories of apes and goes on to infer that UMNO members who fail to fit in his criteria of being a first class Muslim or as I see in his view to be of no class at all?
Frankly speaking, who the hell is perfect in all areas?
Not a bloody soul alive!
Even the Greatest of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala's Messengers , the Seal of the Prophets, Khatamun Nabiyyi, Muhammad ibni Abdullah, Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam stands rebuked openly before the entire Creation by Allah Azza Wa Jalla Himself in the Surah Abasa for frowning in displeasure when the blind Sahabah Abdullah ibni Maqtum trespassed into his majlis with the Qureisyi Arab Kaffirs with whom the Blessed Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam was having a dialogue!
Hello!!! We are talking about the greatest ever human being who has been created by the Lord Almighty here!!!
Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam who if not for him, this entire Creation would not have come into being!!!
This is what I learned from my Sufi masters and in which I believe a hundred million percent!!!
It's a matter of Aqeedah and Iman. I don't see any other being who can stand and be compared to Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam in terms of his being the holiest amongst the holy!
In these latter day political circus, we see our fellow Muslims being categorized as being on the same par as the simians just for not ascribing to another's political stance!
It makes no difference to me if it was a country bumpkin speaking at a remote makeshift stall in Ulu whatever or if it was the Grandest of the Grandsyeikhs of whatever Jamaah for all I care!
One does not belittle another Muslim based on political differences! Period!!!
Who the hell are we to judge another in such a broad insulting manner?
It doesn't augur well for a party that claims to be fighting for an Islamic nation!
If this is the way Nik Aziz speaks of my fellow Muslims when he is not even the Prime Minister of this multi faithed, multi ethnic 26 over million peopled nation, heaven forbid as to what else the man might come up with when he actually holds political sway over the rest of us?
I am a Muslim. First and foremost. I am a member of the Ummah of Rasulullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam.
I am not crazy about political power even though I am a member of one particular party and used to be of another.
That's my personal choice and I do not have to publicize it as to where I stand?
You see both the flags of UMNO and PAS clearly posted here in my blog's sidebar. What does that tell you?
It means that I support both parties but it does not imply that I stand behind each and every individual's stance in both.
I take to task Abdullah Badawi every now and then because I do not agree with his innovative in introducing that concept of 'Islam Hadhari' for to me it infers that Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam didn't complete his job that here comes Abdullah Badawi to add the term'Hadhari' to his job assignment!!!
Has our Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam missed anything when Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala has clearly attested that He has completed His Favors upon us by revealing this as in the Surah Al-Ma'idah Chapter 5 Verse 3 in the Holy Qur'an?
3. Hurrimat AAalaykumu almaytatu waalddamu walahmu alkhinzeeri wama ohilla lighayri Allahi bihi waalmunkhaniqatu waalmawqoothatu waalmutaraddiyatu waalnnateehatu wama akala alssabuAAu illa ma thakkaytum wama thubiha AAala alnnusubi waan tastaqsimoo bial-azlami thalikum fisqun alyawma ya-isa allatheena kafaroo min deenikum fala takhshawhum waikhshawni alyawma akmaltu lakum deenakum waatmamtu AAalaykum niAAmatee waradeetu lakumu al-islama deenan famani idturra fee makhmasatin ghayra mutajanifin li-ithmin fa-inna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun
3. Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine, and that on which hath been invoked the name of other than God; that which hath been killed by strangling, or by a violent blow, or by a headlong fall, or by being gored to death; that which hath been (partly) eaten by a wild animal; unless ye are able to slaughter it (in due form); that which is sacrificed on stone (altars); (forbidden) also is the division (of meat) by raffling with arrows: that is impiety. This day have those who reject faith given up all hope of your religion: yet fear them not but fear Me. This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. But if any is forced by hunger,
with no inclination to transgression, God is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.
Abdullah Badawi's attempt to reinvent the wheel so to speak is just like trying to go one up better than the Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam and that is why to this day I abhor the term of Hadhari being added to an already complete and perfect Faith that is Islam!
It does not mean that I will go on to the extent of categorizing Abdullah Badawi and other 'apple polishers' in the political party with the insulting term of being as an 'orang utan' for that orang utan in the jungle is sinfree unlike the one calling others so!!!
Whomsoever goes on to take that calumnious utterance as a righteous deed or probable cause is equally guilty!
Guilty of associating with that heinous act of the one who goes against the Hadith of Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam as I shared with you in my earlier post!
I reproduce it to you here in actual scans of the authentic Hadith's of the Prophet SAW:
If the Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam who has set the standard to be followed by each and every Muslim, male and female ; especially so in this case where one is regarded as the Spiritual Leader of an Islamic Party, then where does that remark or slander of Nik Aziz against his fellow Muslims in UMNO stand when judged according to the Hadith above?
There is no such thing as it being a slight or oversight on his part for he regrets it not in this statement by him as published here. It therefore shows actual malice and a calumny by him. No regrets! No apologies. As at the moment of writing this article.
Let's look at another Hadith of the Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam concerning this.
What does another relevant Hadith of the Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam say about that?
So, whom do we obey? Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam or one who has no regrets in going against the Prophet Rahmatulil Alamin?
I don't know about you but I stick to the enjoinments of the Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam till the moment that my ruuh is taken out of my jasad here and right on to eternity! Insya Allah!
That does not however imply that Zainol Abideen here is a perfect Muslim or whatever?
No sirree!!! By no measure am I even close!
I am just a speck of dust currently in human form who is so grateful to be a Muslim and by Allah am ever striving to improve my self and hope...really hoping to be amongst those upon whom Allah Ar Rahman Ar Rahim favors to have a Husnul Khatimah @ blessed end to my earthly life here, Insya Allah. Amin Ya Rabbal Alamin.
In the meantime as a Caller to Islam, I try my level best to share what I have come to learn and hold to be the truth and nothing but the truth with you here, my readers.
You have the choice and the opportunity to go ahead and do your own studies about what I am sharing here with you and by Allah, the truth is all right here before us.
You have been given the faculty of reasoning by our Creator Allahu Akbar who has blessed us here with this opportunity to study and live our lives according to His Will and Commandments.
Try not to fall prey to the machinations of others who sow the seeds of discontent and ill will amongst us and learn to keep above the fray of those who go all out to grab the seats of power at the expense of the peace and tranquility of our hearts and minds.
This is such a temporal stage of our lives and it saddens me to see my fellow Muslims resorting to such unpleasant ways to project themselves at the expense and ridicule of others.
I bear no malice against my brother Nik Aziz in person but being a fellow Muslim who does not like to see the Ummah quarreling and indulging in name calling as forbidden by Allah Azza Wa Jalla and our Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam who asks us to enjoin towards the Ma'aruf and forbid the Mungkar, I am here doing just that within my means.
All I want to see is that both the UMNO and PAS leaders learn to seek areas of co-operation between us Muslims and not fall prey to their bloody big bloated egos that threatens to wreak havoc amongst us just to grab and hold on to the temporary powers that both do seek!
Remember that Saiyidina Izra'il Alaihis Salam comes pay us all a visit 70 times a day and observes our each and every deed or misdeed that is going to determine our station in the Yaum al Barzakh and from there on to the Yaum al Akhirat!
Malaikats Munkar and Naqir are not going to address you as 'Assalamualaikum Tun! Assalamualaikum Tan Sri! Dato Seri!.. or whatever honorifics that you oh so love to emblazon before your names here in this duniya!
Let me share with you here something that not that many online get to learn about.
It is the reading of the Talqin when a Muslim, male or female dies and is buried in his or her grave.
Do take note that the translations here is mine and if there are any mistakes, I ask those who are the learned amongst you to notify me so that I can correct them. Insya Allah.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The imam will start by reciting:

"Blessed be Almighty Allah who is the Eternal and Absolute. God Almighty who has the power to end the life of all that is alive. Almighty Allah who gives life and death to test as to who are the blessed and who be amongst the unfortunates?

Blessed be Allah who makes the grave to be the greatest ever lesson to those who are careless and and as the gravest warning to those still alive.

Remember! All of God's Creation will cease to exist and be destroyed except for Almighty Allah. He who is the Greatest Supreme Power who wields the power to punish and judge when all of us return to face Him, Allahu Ta'ala.

Now you have entered into the world pending the state of Akhirat. (Realm of Barzakh)

You have testified that 'There is no other God worthy of worship in truthfulness save for Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah'!

Remember O ......................... son of / daughter of ........................, when comes to you 2 Malaikats @ Angels who look like you. They are Mungkar and Nakir. Don't you be stressed and afraid! Don't you be sad or worried and don't you be depressed and shocked!

Know this O .............................. son of / daughter of ......................... that Mungkar and Nakir are servants of Allah just as you are a servant of Allahu Ta'ala.

When they ask you to be seated, they will question you.

They will ask:
  • Who is your God?
  • Who is your Prophet?
  • What is your Faith?
  • What is your Guide?
  • What is your Qiblat? (Direction of prayer)
  • Who are your brethren?
  • What is your doctrine?
  • What is your Kalimah that you have brought with you? (Declaration of Faith)
At that time, answer you their questions in as careful and as clear a manner, exactly and correct.
Do not feel nervous, do not be afraid and do not rush yourself. Be calm and collected.

Answer you this way:
  • Allah Ta'ala is my God.
  • Muhammad is my Prophet.
  • Islam is my faith.
  • The Holy Al-Qur'an Al Kareem is my Guide.
  • The Ka'abah is my Qiblat
  • All Muslims are my brethren
  • My doctrine is observing my five daily prayers, fasting in the month of Ramadhan, giving charity and performing my pilgrimage to Makkah which is obligatory upon me.
  • I have brought with me the Kalimah ' La ila ha ill lall Laah. Muhammad dar Rasulullah' which I have uttered all my life till the moment that I died.
O ..........................son of /daughter of.............................(name of one's mother) affirm your heart. This is your biggest test. Remember you that you are now in the Realm of Barzakh (Afterlife) and will remain here till comes the moment when you will be resurrected to gather at the Plains of Mahsyar!

Repent O .........................son of /daughter of .........................(one's mother) that Death is real. The questioning of Mungkar and Nakir is real. Resurrection is real. Gathering of all souls at the Plains of Mahsyar is real. Being judged and accounted for all of one's deeds is real. Drinking at the pool of the Prophet is real. Paradise and Hellfire is real.

Know that Qiyamat ( Doomsday) will be. So will Almighty Allah the Most Powerful resurrect all those who are lying dead in their graves.

Lastly, we wish you farewell and leave you to Allahu Ta'ala. May the Almighty give you respite. It is Allah Himself who can give rest to your heart. We pray that the Almighty will appease your restless heart and have mercy upon your soul, being all alone here in this grave. May the Almighty forgive you your sins and accept your good deeds.

O Allah O Lord. We beseech You and pray to You that this corpse is not put to torture with the dignity of our leader Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam.

Subhana Rabbika Rabbil Izzati Amma Ya Sifuun. Wassalamu Alal Mursaliin. Walhamdu Lillahi Rabbil Aalamiin.

'Qullu Nafsin Zaa Iqatul Maut!' meaning 'Everything that breathes will surely die!'

Allah's Commandment in the Surah Al-'Asr (By Time) Chapter 103 Verses 1-3 in the Holy Qur'an:

1. WaalAAasri

1. By (the Token of) Time (through the ages),

2. Inna al-insana lafee khusrin

2. Verily Man is in loss,

3. Illa allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati watawasaw bialhaqqi watawasaw bialssabri

3. Except such as those who have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (enjoin each other) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So dear Brothers & Sisters.
Name calling without cause has no place in Islam save for labeling those who are clearly as what is so obvious. Even then, if possible we must try our level best to not be hasty in our decisions.
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala Knows us best. It is to Him that we return to and we need to be ever so watchful of our each and every actions.
To me, Nik Aziz did wrong by such inferring to UMNO members as being alike 'orang utan' whatsoever.
Don't tell me that the acronym for PAS is now 'Parti Ahli Syurga'?
From the looks of it, Nik Aziz sure behaves and believes so even when he is guilty of going against the above posted Hadiths?
I am just sharing with you here as to what I see being an egoistic mistake of one who is revered by many and it is wajib upon us to help our brother or sister to realize their error and return to the fitrah of being good servants of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala irrespective of who they are and whatever position or honorific they have before their name?
As shown in the reading of the Talqin above, Malaikats Mungkar and Nakir would not be bothered about all those earthly titles.
Hope we can all learn from this. Insya Allah.
Wabillahi Taufik Wal Hidayah. Wassalamualaikum Warahmatulillahi Ta'ala Wabarakatuh!
Sayonara Samy! Malaysia's Indians need a new leader!
There is a saying that seems to escape Samy Vellu! 'Enough is enough!'
This is what Malaysia's long silent and suffering Indian grassroots are saying and they do say it to his face quite regularly now to the extent that if the Malaysian police and security personnel weren't protecting him, Samy Vellu would have by now returned to the Creator if the enraged Indians have it their way!
We are looking at the emerging new group of Malaysian Indians whose political awareness and awakening can be curtailed no more!
HINDRAF is only the culmination of 50 over years of institutionalized marginalization that has been the curse of the Indian masses amongst our midst.
We have to acknowledge that the social, cultural, economic and academic needs of our fellow Malaysians from the Indian ethnicity have not been properly attended to and their fates changed by the rhetoric spewing Malaysian Indian Congress leaders.
No one would be that crazy to keep on going to the streets every now and then just to get themselves blasted by acid laced water cannons and be doused with teargas for fun!
The Malaysian Government can't afford to keep sweeping this growing disenchantment of the burgeoning Indian masses under the carpet or floorboards of Putrajaya!
Even Mahathir knew when to call it quits but stubborn old Samy Vellu thinks he can still strong arm his way and beat down any challenges to his throne as the so called Malaysian Indians leader per se!
It would be best for Samy Vellu to retire with grace and with what little honor he still has left than to chance it all by remaining recalcitrant and refuse to give way to a fresh new leader!
The way I see the Malaysian Indians starting to react towards him, is only showing the smoking and smoldering plumes of the raging volcano of Indian's dissatisfactions against the current BN Government's denial of their unsettled problems!
HINDRAF came about as a result of those Indian lawyers reacting after seeing their people being abandoned and ignored by Samy Vellu and his kowtowed Malaysian Indian Congress!
Samy Vellu is a ruthless fellow who is on record to having terrorized anyone from amongst the MIC leadership who dared to go against him!
See what happened to his former deputy S. Subramaniam? The man was practically shoved out from office and even denied any chance of remaining in the party's top leadership!
Those who remain are the ones who groveled at his feet and sought his blessings.
It is absurd to see something that is often played out in Tamil films to be realized here in modern day Malaysia.
The Malaysian Indian Congress need to be liberated from the clutches of the Godfather!
I am sure that there are young bloods in the MIC who can and will help out their people amongst the various citizens of Malaysia if given the freedom and opportunity to do so.
One can only eat so much, attain wealth that much before throwing up as a result and if one is really a true blue leader of the people as what one preaches, then one must share whatever that one can with one's community!
The problem with the MIC leadership is that Samy Vellu sanctioned no one from going against his wishes and he allowed none of his dissenters to remain in office and rules with an iron fist over the congress.
HINDRAF's leaders went about it in a way that saw them putting the Indians at risk and they have paid the price themselves by ending up in detention under the ISA.
That does not solve the problems faced by the Indians and they are sure getting pissed off at Samy Vellu!
The decent thing to do would be for Samy Vellu to say 'Sayonara' or face the Malaysian Indians juggernaut which is building up strength and getting ready for a do or die showdown against the nation's security apparatus!
Is Samy Vellu willing to see the Indians die on our nation's streets and refuse to step down out of listening to his bloated ego or is he going to release the pressure building up in our nation's Indian ethnicities who are being forced to go the confrontational way?
Malaysiakini reports that the Malaysian Indians have had enough of Samy Vellu and from my outlook on this, they are out to whack some senses into the Don anytime soon!
C'mon Samy Vellu! Do the nation a favor and let the people decide as to whom they want as their new MIC leader?
'Makkal Sakthi' is not a cinema script sir and you really, really need to listen to the voice of the Malaysian Indians or risk the disastrous fate of being spat upon by your own people who are getting enraged by the day!
I for one hope that the Malaysian Government really see to it that their grouses are addressed to and they be given their equal and fair share of the opportunities available in our country!
I am not saying that the Malaysian Government must kowtow to each and every of their demands but to see which areas and issues that can be solved and given priority by the relevant government ministries and agencies.
The Indians are part and parcel of Malaysia and we really must not act as if they are not here amongst us.
Remember when we had all three major races live in relative peace with one another back in the early days of this nation?
I remember seeing public notices with all four languages properly printed and published so that everyone can understand such notices!
They were in Bahasa Melayu, English, Mandarin and Tamil!
That's what we are. Malaysians. Today, we see none of that anymore. That is one major screw up of our government phasing out the different identities of our people.
Why must we be ashamed of our various communities? We should be proud of the fact that here in Malaysia, we can be so different from one another yet if we want to be united as a people, each truly unique and special yet be able to live our lives according to our faith and own social and traditional cultures and values.
It saddens my heart to see our fellow citizens from the various ethnicities be denied their place in the makeup of our great multi ethnic, multi faithed nation.
They too are the Children of Adam and although they are non believers in Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala , do deserve to be helped live a decent life as true born Malaysian citizens.
We have to stop treating our fellow citizens as undesirables and accord to them their rightful places here amongst all other Malaysians.
There are certain limits and boundaries I know but if really given thought to and administered properly as what our forefathers did, Malaysia stands to gain from a better united and satisfied populace and we don't have to worry so much about protests and this and that for happy people don't go demonstrating for no rhyme or reason!
A truly Islamic principled Malaysian government would see to it that fairness and equality is not only be preached about and trumpeted over the nation's media every now and then but be seen to be put to practice as per what Rasul Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam has enjoined us.
Abdullah Badawi must advice the Senior Minister to retire with honor and let the Indians choose their preferred leader or risk bloodshed in the roads and streets of our nation.
Not that you need to feel pressured or what but this is the right thing to do. The decision by both men will decide where we go from here?
I for one hope that everyone will take into consideration the consequences of allowing the growing problems being faced and raised by the Indians of Malaysia culminate into a state of disorder and chaos because those who are no longer wanted by the masses choose to ignore the warning signs and instead remain obstinate in the face of growing mass dissent!
Any honorable leader would know when to call it a day and slowly but surely just step away and let others take their place.
Failure to do so will just see the person go down in history with the wrong kind of records that surely one who professes to be the people's choice would not ever want to have it attributed to his name!
Terlajak perahu boleh di-undur; terlajak mengata...
Saya kurang selesa membaca laporan media mengatakan Mursyidul Am Parti Islam seMalaysia mengumpamakan ahli ahli UMNO sebagai orang utan yang tak reti agama dan hanya menurutkan nafsu!
Apakah benar begitu? Dari mana dibuatnya kajian dan apakah benar sang pengata itu seratus peratus suci bersih dari noda dan dosa?
Na'uzubillah! Inilah akibat insan yang merasa diri terlalu hebat, terlalu suci sehingga sanggup melemparkan penghinaan sebegitu terhadap sesama Muslim dengan dirinya!
Saya sedih dengan cara seorang pemimpin lama seperti Nik Aziz bertindak menghina kesemua ahli ahli UMNO dengan istilah orang utan!
Ialah ! Orang utan tak reti bersekongkol dengan musuh Islam seperti DAP!
Orang Utan tidak reti mencaci nesta mereka yang tidak sehaluan politik dengan mereka kerana Orang Utan takdelah merasa diri tu maksum sehingga boleh pulak melabel sesama spesis dengan mereka sebagai itu ini.
Orang Utan tak le sanggup berpeluk , bercium pipi dengan puak yang terang terang membantah dan berusaha siang malam pagi dan petang menghalang pelaksanaan nilai nilai Islam didalam pentadbiran negara yang diterajui Orang Utan!
Sepatutnya bila seseorang itu semakin tua maka dirinya semakin berhemah didalam menyampaikan kata dan mendidik sesama ummah yang pada hematnya tak sempurna dan tersasar dari landasan Ad Deenul Hak!
Ini lain pulak ceritanya. Semakin menghampiri 'kiamat kecil' semakin menjadi pula sikap mengata dan mencetuskan suasana benci membenci dengan sesama ummah!
Abdullah Badawi memang tidak betul bilamana membawa pendekatan Islam 'Hadhari'nya didalam zaman pemerintahannya tetapi tidaklah sampai ke tahap mencaci mencerca Muslim yang lain.
Disini letaknya kesilapan besar Nik Aziz yang dengan berkata demikian sebenarnya menjauhkan orang dari memberi sokongan terhadap PAS didalam Pilihanraya Umum ini.
Apakah maksud disebalik mengata ahli ahli UMNO begitu?
PAS bersekongkol dengan DAP yang terang terang anti Islam dan membantah nawaitu PAS hendak mendirikan 'Negara Islam' di Malaysia! Mana logiknya?
Boleh ke bersahabat dengan seteru agama demi merebut kuasa dan takhta politik?
Sikap bersahabat dengan musuh Islam hendak dicap sebagai apa?
Tak ke berdosa kerana bersepakat dengan musuh Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala dan Nabi Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam?
Abu Dhar Radhiallahu Anhu ada meriwayatkan bahawasanya Rasulullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam telah bersabda:
"Barangsiapa menuduh seseorang yang lain dengan pertuduhan 'Fasiq' atau dengan pertuduhan 'Kaffir' maka pertuduhan sedemikian akan berpulang kepada dirinya sendiri jika yang dituduh tidak seperti apa yang dituduh itu!"
Didalam kitab Hadith Sahih Al-Bukhari Bab 17 berhubung dengan Al-Adab, diriwayatkan oleh Anas bin Malik Radhiallahu Anhu, Nabi Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam dibuktikan sebagai seorang insan yang berperibadi bukan sebagai seorang 'Sabbab' @ seorang yang pencerca atau seorang 'Fahish' @ seorang pemaki, atau seseorang yang suka mengata orang dan jika Baginda Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam ingin menegur seseorang diantara kami, maka Rasullullah Alaihi Wassallam akan berkata," Apa yang tidak kena dengan sipolan? Dahinya berdebu!"
Setiap pemimpin Islam haruslah mencontohi akhlak Rasulullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam dan tidak terjatuh didalam golongan mereka yang sombong dan bongkak walaupun dirinya alim tara mana pun!
Setitik sifat riya' dan 'ujub terhadap diri sendiri akan menjadi sekam api yang membakar dan menghapuskan segala rekod pahala dan amal kebaikan yang pernah dilakukannya.
Semoga kita sama sama dapat menginsafi diri dan bertaubat kepada Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala dan memohon maaf sesama kita jika sadar diri sebelum dijemput Saiyidina Izra'il Alaihis Salam.
Kita boleh berlainan pendapat dan pegangan tetapi janganlah sampai kita tewas terhadap mengawal nafsu amarah kita dan turut bersikap sombong dan angkuh sepertimana mereka yang ditakrifkan sebagai jahil.
Bilamana kita sendiri terlajak mengata orang begitu begini, tak ada bezanya diantara yang alim dengan yang zalim. Ini dia punca keretakan perhubungan sesama Islam di bumi Malaysia ini!
Bawa bawalah mengucap sebelum terlambat. Qullu nafsin iza iqatul maut! Setiap yang bernyawa pasti akan mati dan yang waras sepatutnya merenung akan setiap tingkah laku dan kata kata yang dilafazkannya!
Manusia di-adili menurut amalan nya. Maka berusahalah kita membaiki diri dan menyeru kepada yang makruf serta berusaha mencegah dan menegur yang mungkar!
Tumpukan perhatian kepada sasaran sebenar perjuangan kita sebagai seorang Mukmin dan usah tersasar menembak sesama kita. Kenali musuh kita. Kekadangnya diri sendiri kerana tewas kepada ego didalam dada dan benak fikiran masing masing.
Bagi saya barangsiapa yang memerangi Islam atau bersekongkol dengan musuh Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala serta Rasul Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam, maka ianya tidak akan mendapat undi atau sokongan saya sampai mati!
Wallahi Wabillahi! Tak kiralah siapa saja! La ila ha illallah! Muhammadar Rasulullah!
Allahu Akbar!
Malaysian Elections 2008 - Bloggers do have a say!
The buildup to our General Elections 2008 here in Malaysia is witnessing the emergence of the Malaysian Blogosphere as an influencing platform for the people to exchange views and opinions on a wider scale compared to the past GE in 2004.
Back then, Abdullah Badawi came across as Mr.Goody Two Shoes and Malaysians gave him a landslide victory beating all other past Prime Ministers of the Barisan Nasional as far as the number of seats won in an election, taking back Terengganu from PAS and narrowly losing Kelantan by just one state seat.
This time around Abdullah Badawi will realize that his 2004 victory was just a flash in the pan and that Malaysians have now sort of awakened from their stupor in thinking that Mr.Nice Guy would be a much better leader than Mahathir.
Mahathir is infamous for being an iron fisted PM but still he brought Malaysia out to be what it is today!
Although there is a bit more freedom in expression through the advent of the Blogosphere, there hasn't been much change in the way the BN Government under Abdullah Badawi treats any shows of public dissent.
It seems that Mr.Abdullah Badawi is not that nice in the real sense. The smiling facade belies the fact that the Malaysian security forces during his rule aren't any different from what they were during Mahathir's watch!
I am not really gung ho about the holding of street protests by the Opposition parties and their associates in the various NGO's but sometimes the ruling government ought to be kept on their toes by such demonstrations just so that the people who feel strongly about certain issues and problems are given room to express their dissatisfactions to the authorities by way of organized and civilized shows of protest.
The problems however in allowing such protests is that most people just do not conduct themselves accordingly when on the streets.
We see some of them even resort to endangering their children by bringing along their young children as a measure to stop the Malaysian Police or Federal Reserve Units from taking action against them!
The reality is that these people are irresponsible by putting to danger the lives and persons of their innocent children just to further their political agendas. Damn stupid of such folks I must say! Protest if you must but leave the children alone!
Whether you call it a rose protest or whatever, the reality is that you risk having your children suffer the consequences of taking part in an illegal assembly and if they get harmed in the process, it is none other but that useless parent who is to be blamed and ought to be taken to task for such a criminal act! Children must be kept out of the political circus! Period!!!
If the people are feeling so strongly about anything, there are other avenues to express such dissatisfactions. They say that the pen or in this case, the keyboard is mightier than the sword!
Speak your mind through your blog! Be responsible in what you say or share. Do not hide behind a pseudonym if you are truly a gentleman or a gentlewoman. Speak outright and be upfront about it if you want to be taken seriously.
No one can stop you from stating what you have to say but you must know that with each word or sentence you type, you are held responsible for it, whether you are right or wrong? You can't say something and then deny it. That's just asking for trouble.
Sentiments expressed online and throughout the Malaysian Blogosphere promise Abdullah Badawi a wake up call that is going to reflect the true dissatisfactions of the people over some of his policies despite the attempts by the propaganda ministry to picture him as being exemplary in his questionable leadership or rather lack of it.
The people's growing unhappiness resulting from the increased costs of living spurred on by his government's decisions to raise the price of fuel and other repercussions of the ensuing inflation have slowly but surely started to have a domino effect in demolishing any hope of him ever regaining the trust of the people or even repeat his 2004 feat!
So, Abdullah Badawi and the BN are not going to have a smooth roll this time around in retaining all their seats of power here in Malaysia.
Even then, the Malaysian Opposition aren't really that unified in their 'unholy alliance' of mismatched partnership to really pose a strong challenge to the BN.
Reason being is so very obvious. DAP and PAS are forever opposed to each others ideals and objectives that I find it unbelievable that these two political enemies would even want to forge a political partnership?
The DAP are on record of opposing the formation of an Islamic State as envisioned by PAS from day one!
They have been quite vocal about it and have remained so by continuing to champion the causes of apostates from Islam and remain committed to their call for a 'Malaysian Malaysia' which seeks to remove the Malays special privileges under what is known as 'Ketuanan Melayu' or 'Malay Supremacy'. They have not minced their words and have been going about continuing to antagonize the ruling Malay political party UMNO about it since coming into being in 1966.
Although Karpal Singh apologized for his anti Islamic State stand in the Forum Keadilan way back in 1999, he and his Central Executive Council members in the DAP have not backed off from their opposing such a move by anyone whether from UMNO or PAS to adopt and infuse Islamic values into the running of the Malaysian Government.
I would say that their being so is a result of the failure of both UMNO or PAS to reach out to the DAP and explain to them about the truth regarding Islamic values and principles and the result of both UMNO and PAS in not actually practicing Islam to the letter and from their track records.
The ongoing feud between UMNO and PAS is a main deterrent to both parties ever coming to be taken seriously as a role model for Islamic governance as deep down both parties have an intense hatred for each other's standpoints that I don't have to even bother showing you here as to what I mean?
The records of such confrontations between UMNO and PAS are right there for all to see.
Bloggers today play a role in the disseminating of news and views and at times even beat the mainstream newspapers and media organizations in reporting the latest situations.
Alternative media such as Malaysiakini have now become a major source for those of us who have access to the internet to catch up on the latest breaking news and there are links to blogs and websites that expose news and reports that most mainstream media organizations try to hide such things from the people!
That used to be the case back then not anymore today!
Editors of newspapers can't have it their way anymore. Bloggers are now playing a role in the sharing of information in a borderless world and they do not have to kowtow to anybody in having their say about things that affect them and their nation!
This 2008 Malaysian General Elections is going to see us Bloggers contributing to the nation by doing our part to clear the air about what is going on behind the scenes in the Malaysian political arena.
May the people elect only the candidates who will do their jobs responsibly and deny the ones with a dubious track record and have been bullshitting their way all these years any chances of retaining their seats or making any comebacks!
We need a fresh new government. Not another term of having dinosaurs take up space and rob us of a better leadership from both the BN or even the disunited BA!
Kg Kemensah Jungle Recreation Area in Gombak, Selangor
Not many people know of the idyllic jungle retreat that is hidden away in the tropical jungles of Kampong Kemensah, just off the Zoo Negara grounds at Hulu Kelang, Selangor.
On Saturday, I had the good fortune of discovering this natural retreat which was really something that I had never imagined of being there all these while as I had driven past the place hundreds of times all the years since emigrating to KL.
It was more of a tip from a friend of us who told us to go explore the jungles of Gombak through the kampong called Kemensah which is located deep in the jungles from behind Zoo Negara.
First time I chanced upon the set up of the recreation areas I had my doubts as to whether it would satisfy my fixation with the fast flowing rivers of Sg Pangsoon?
I didn't even want to go in to the 'dark' waters of the swimming area which I saw was filled with holidaymakers and what looked like a family day gathering of people and kids frolicking in the waters complete with a 'Tarzan' rope from which some boys were continuously swinging from and plunging into the waters with a splash!
My curiosity got the better of me and I eventually braved myself to venture into the waters wearing my flip flops for fear of getting my feet injured from whatever might be in those unfamiliar waters.
Being a diabetic, one must always watch out for the health and safety of one's feet and yours truly wasn't going to take any chances.
The water was actually quite clear and clean and the 'darkness' that I was a bit apprehensive about was actually the natural decomposing fallen leaves from the trees overhead in the bottom of the waterways.
See for yourselves in the photo above. The water is of drinking quality and free from any contamination or pollution. Alhamdulillah.
I think by now, most of you would probably know that I am a nature lover and if possible just disappear from all the hustle and bustle of the city and escape to such places to bask in nature's glory as I please.
I enjoy being in the jungle, listening to the sounds of the insects and crickets singing their hearts out and swimming in the freshwater rivers such as Sg Pangsoon and now Sg Kemensah.
I can't wait to go exploring in the other natural retreats that are around KL and in Selangor.
I have also enjoyed swimming in the rivers of Taman Rimba Ampang but don't really like having to walk so far in from the carpark at the entrance to the forest reserve there in the foothills of Bukit Belacan, Ampang.
Sg Pangsoon and Sg Kemensah are accessible easily by driving up to the places. That's a real treat. Not having to walk far as at Taman Rimba Ampang.
More pictures and videos coming after this.
Ayam Pusing Hulu Langat @ 'Rock & Roll Chicken'
Have you tried 'Ayam Pusing' or as I call it ' Rock and Roll Chicken'? It's spring chicken grilled to perfection over a hot charcoal fire.
The one I tried was very nicely marinated with spices and herbs. Really value for money.
The restaurant is located just opposite the Petronas station at Hulu Langat.
Teratak Buluh ditebing Sg Pangsoon
Ini sebahagian dari klip video yang saya rakamkan semasa saya bercuti ke Sg Pangsoon baru baru ini.
Semoga video ini akan mendorong anda pergi bercuti ke Sg Pangsoon di Hulu Langat dan membantu memeriahkan suasana di kawasan libur terkenal di sana.
Jangan tinggalkan sampah sarap disana dan ikutilah pepatah Inggeris moden ini iaitu ' Take nothing but photographs (or videos) ; leave nothing but footprints!'
Maksudnya: "Jangan ambil sesuatu dari sana melainkan gambarfoto atau rakaman video ; jangan tinggalkan apa apa melainkan bekas tapak kaki!"
Peliharalah alam sekitar warisan negara kita demi meninggalkan khazanah bumi ini untuk anak cucu kita dimasa akan datang!
Selamat berlibur!
Ayatul Kursi -The Verse of the Throne. It's Meanings and Benefits.
Assalamualaikum dear Muslims. (Non Muslims are respectfully asked not to comment upon this article. Thank you for your co-operation.)
Among the various surahs and ayaahs of the Holy Al-Qur'an Al-Kareem, the above ayaah @ Ayatul Kursi is one of the most powerful ayaahs that each and every Muslim must remember and recite daily and as a protection from the hidden and visible dangers out there in our lives.
As a completion of one's daily dhikr, Ayatul Kursi has tremendous benefits to every Muslim male and female who makes it a point to learn as to how to recite it properly and to learn of it's meanings.
Life here in this world is not something to be taken for granted and we as humanbeings ought to know and make efforts to learn of the various realms of our existence.
We are not alone here in this world. We have all around us all other kinds of living creatures and beings plus myriads of other creations of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala that we can't see with our own eyes but can sense their presence.
These are the spiritual beings. Spiritual beings meaning the Djinn and Syaitan laknatullah.
Even within us thrives trillions of living bacteria, germs and other microscopic organisms that take over and consume our jasad @ body when our 'Ruuh' @ 'soul' is taken out by the Malaikatul Maut @ Angel of Death, Saiyidina Izra'il Alaihis Salam.
When the 'Ruuh' departs from the jasad, the trillions of such living bacteria, germs and all the microscopic organisms start consuming the tissues and innards of our body resulting in very quick decomposition of our physical self.
This is the reality of our life here on Earth. The 3rd stage of our existence. To those who have yet to realize the various stages of our existence, let me share with you the 5 stages of life that we go through.
  1. Our 'Ruuh' @ Soul is created by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. This is the first stage of our coming into being. You can say that this is our life in the World of the Ruuh.
  2. The 'Ruuh' is imbued into our being when we are conceived in our mother's womb and we live in our mother's womb, growing, forming and coming into shape as a human baby. This is the second stage of our being and this is our life in the World of the Womb. Enshrouded in darkness and we hear nothing else but the heartbeat of our mother and we grow and develop through the various stages of the formation of us as we are, each unique and different from the rest of mankind as a testament to the Power of Allah, Almighty God who creates us each special and different with our own special abilities and attributes. All praise be to Him, Ar Rahman, Ar Raheem, the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.
  3. We are then born into this world as a helpless infant and we are taken care of by our mother and others. This is the 3rd stage of our life and we are here living at the moment as human beings. We go from stage to stage of discovering the various aspects of being in this physical world and we learn from each and every experience of living life as whoever we are destined to be and yet we are given the absolute freedom to choose whatever it is that we want but still be confined to the limits of our being within the dictates of law and society. As a Muslim, it is incumbent upon us to learn about our faith and to teach it to others who in turn want to learn the same. Ignorance is no excuse for we have before us unlimited opportunities to learn everything that we need to know right before us here in this age of knowledge and discovery.Even then, we are still existing in a time frame that Allah the Almighty has set for each and everyone of us can't escape from.We decide as to how to live our lives and as Muslims, we must learn the do's and don'ts of Islam. It is to Allah that we return to and to Him that we have to answer to for our deeds, both good and bad. So, use this golden opportunity to learn about an important ayaah that will save us from being harmed by the spiritual beings and those amongst us in human form yet are as evil as the accursed one @ Syaitan Laknatullah. This 3rd stage of life is here in the Yaum al Duniya. Life on Earth.
  4. There will come a time when our allocated time frame here on Earth is up and no matter what we do or attempt, we will all die and our soul be released from the confines of this mortal body that has encased us and allowed us to utilize our limbs and organs to exist here on Earth as a human being, both male and female or those caught in between. We die and our dead body is interred into the Earth as Muslims. Our soul is then living in the 4th stage of our being and this is called Yaum al Barzakh. The World of the Dead. As Muslims we believe in the processing of the soul in the grave and the questioning by the Angels Munkar and Nakir. If we have lived our lives as Muslims, then our fate there in the grave will be one that is promised to those upon whom is the Rahmah of Allah. If otherwise, then only torture and torment awaits those of us who incurred the Wrath of Allah and our state then would be one that none would desire. So choose as to how best to live your life as a proper Muslim?
  5. As Muslims, we believe in Yaum al Qiyamat. The Last Day on Earth for all of Allah's creatures and creation. Judgment Day. Doomsday. Al-Qiyamah. Go study about it in the Last and Final Testament of Allah in the Holy Al-Qur'an Al-Kareem.
Those are the 5 stages of our life here on Earth and in the Hereafter. It is important that we as Muslims learn these and understand the oceans of knowledge that is before us, bequeathed to each and everyone of us by Rasul Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam and differentiate ourselves from those who aren't submitters to Ar Rahman.
Ayatul Kursi has many important attestations to the Power and Might of Allah, Azza Wa Jalla. It is up to us to learn about the various 'Ilm that Allahu Akbar has shared with us through His Prophets and Messengers.
Studying about Islam is fard and wajib upon us. If you are a father or a mother, then it is important that you learn this ayaah and recite it in completion over yourselves and your children as a protection against all harm, both seen and unseen.
I have used Ayatul Kursi to remove disturbances from those who were afflicted by the dark spirits and have found this magnificient ayaah so useful to restore a sense of balance to those who were unfortunate to be victims of sihir.
Yakinullah! Trust in Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and remain steadfast in Iman and Amal. Do not bother listening to the Kaffir , Munafiqs and Musyriks for it is to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala that we owe our lives to and none other.
Can we deny that?
Surely not! So dear Muslims. Stay you firm and focused on the Siraatal Mustaqim and be the best Muslim that you can be. Be learned and study from authentic sources of Islam and be a good citizen. Enjoin others to Allah and remain committed to your Syahadah. May Allah bless you with His Taufik and Hidayah plus shower upon you all His Favors and Blessings. Amin Ya Rabbal Alamin.
To those of you who seek peace and tranquility after a hard day's work, listen to this recitation of Ayatul Kursi by one of the Islamic world's best qari @ Syeikh Abdul Basset Abdus Samad. Insya Allah you will feel the peace and blessings of Ar Rahman within your heart and mind. Amin.
Listen to it everytime you feel you need to recharge your soul and rest in the knowledge of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala watching over you and giving you His protection.
What you need to know about the Ayaatul Kursi:
The Ayaatul Kursi was revealed by Allah Ar Rahman Ar Raheem to the Holy Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam in a night before Rasul Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam embarked on his historic Hijrah @ Migration.
When the Ayaatul Kursi was being revealed by Jibreel Alaihis Salam, the Archangel, he was accompanied by hundreds of thousands of the Malaikats of Allah as a mark of respect and majesty of this ayaah.
Syaitan and Iblis Laknatullah were alarmed for it was the heralding of an important sign of help from Allah Azza Wa Jalla to the Mukmins and will be a major hindrance to their evil plans upon Mankind.
Rasul Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam upon receiving this most important protective ayaah immediately summoned his appointed scribe of the Holy Qur'an al Kareem, Zaid ibni Tsabit to at once put it to pen and to disseminate the ayaah to the Muslims.
There are ninety five hadiths that explain about the fadhilah @ benefits of the Ayaatul Kursi. The reason why this ayaah is named 'Ayaatul Kursi' or the 'Verse of the Throne' is because in its recitations is the word 'Kursi' which carries the meanings of the grandeur and majesty of Allahu Akbar and is a testament to His Power over His entire Creations including the Djinns, Syaitan and Iblis Laknatullah!
The mentioning of 'Kursi' @ the Throne is a symbol of the Majesty of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala created His Throne overlapping the seven layers of the heavens and the earth. Overlapping the magnificence of His Creating the Seven Heavens and the Earth is alike a majestic burgeoning tree that stands tall and supreme in the middle of a hot scorching wide expanse of a desert.
On the left and right of that majestic throne is hundreds of thousands of other smaller thrones as an added attraction to magnify His Majesty and upon which sit hundreds of thousands of angels @ malaikats who write and record the blessings of those who recite this Ayaatul Kursi.
Some Benefits of reading the Ayaatul Kursi.
Imam Al-Ghazali writes in his kitab @ 'Khawasul Qur'an' that ibnu Khutaibah related that of an incident that took place in the region of Basrah. A date seller named Ka'ab went to Basrah bringing his trading goods to be sold in the marketplace there.
Upon reaching Basrah, he found that most of the lodgings have been taken up by other traders who had arrived before him.
Ka'ab chanced upon a dilapidated dwelling that had cobwebs all over it as a result of being unattended to for so long and he approached its owner asking permission to rent it for a week.
The owner told him that the house is reported to be cursed and inhabited by the Djinn 'Afrit'. Those who had leased the place became afflicted by all kinds of mysterious ailments and went crazy.
Ka'ab replied that since there was no other accommodation available, he wouldn't mind staying there as long as the owner gave his permission.
"Alright then!" said the owner. " I don't mind at all and you can stay for free as long as you wish!"
Ka'ab then moved in to the house in the afternoon. Nothing happened until it was midnight. Ka'ab felt his hairs bristling and standing on their ends.
This is a sign of spiritual beings present and Ka'ab felt scared to his bones and he immediately got up and looked around.
Ka'ab saw a dark shadow with two blazing eyes approaching him. Ka'ab remembered the teachings of Rasul Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam of this Ayaatul Kursi and he gathered his inner courage to face this danger.
Immediately Ka'ab started reciting ," Allaahu la ila ha illa huwal hayyul qayyum" but the dark shadow also recited repeating the very same verses that Ka'ab was reciting , word for word until Ka'ab reached the last verse , " Walaa yaa uuduhuu khifdhuhumaa wa huwal aliyyul adzhimm!" Suddenly the djinn ceased following Ka'ab's recitation and went quiet.
Ka'ab was perplexed and he repeated reciting " Walaa yaa uuduhuu khifdhuhumaa wa huwal aliyyul adzhimm!"but there was no sound of the djinn repeating what he had just recited and he smelt like something had burned!
There was no more shadow visible and the whole place became calm and serene. The burning smell lingered but his hairs returned to normal and the sense of fear was gone from him.
Praising Allah for His Protection, Ka'ab then returned to his sleeping mat and dozed off without experiencing any further disturbances. In the early morning when he woke up, he saw with his own eyes traces of something being burnt in one of the corners of the house. There were ashes in it.
At that very moment, Ka'ab heard a voice. A voice that said," O Ka'ab! You have burned the vicious Djinn called Afrit!" Ka'ab was confused and asked," With what did I burn it?"
The voice answered," With the commandment of Allah " Walaa yaa uuduhuu khifdhuhumaa wa huwal aliyyul adzhimm!" and everything went quiet.
Subhanallah!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Whomsoever recites without fail and with full understanding and trust in Allah everytime after each obligatory solat in each morning and sunset, everytime one leaves and returns to one's house and upon entering the marketplace, everytime one goes to bed and embarks on a journey, recites this Ayaatul Kursi, Insya Allah will be protected from the disturbances of the evil Syaitan.

He or she will be protected from any harm that comes from evil rulers, evil humans and wild animals. Protected will he or she, their families, offsprings, property, abode from theft, fire, misfortunes and dangers by the Will of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala!

Allah's protection and safe guard will be upon those of us who trust in nothing but Him, the Most Powerful, Most Supreme God Almighty of us all.

So states Imam Al-Ghazali in his kitab, Khawasul Qur'an.

In the kitab Asrarul Mufidah is stated:' Whomsoever recites the Ayaatul Kursi for at least eighteen times, and then strives earnestly for his or her living, Insya Allah will be blessed to live a life full of Tauhid, get enlightenment, be showered with the provisions of this earthly life, be raised in stature amongst their peers and be protected from all dangers and mishaps by the Will of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.

To be continued, Insya Allah.

Daytrip to Hulu Langat during Malaysia's Election Season.

Scene at Hulu Langat. All kinds of flags and buntings were fluttering with the breeze there. Elections Fever!

Yesterday, I took a drive to Hulu Langat with MENJ and we had lunch at my favorite kampong stall.

After lunch, we drove all the way up to Sg Pangsoon and prayed Zohor at the Masjid Qariah, Kuala Pangsoon.

This is a very large 'tabuh' @ sort of a drum that we found at the side corridor of Masjid Qariah, Kuala Pangsoon.

Detail of some carving done on the body of the large elongated wooden drum.

MENJ posing before the giant 'tabuh' just to give you an idea of the size of the drum. It's huge!

Along the way, we saw the flags and buntings of the main political parties festoon the area at designated places and took some photos of the scenes.

Which brings me to a conclusion. The Election Season will unearth all the invincible YB's into our midst and chances are that this is the only time you'll be seeing them in person.

Be prepared to see your former Members of Parliament and State Assembly men and women suddenly appear not to be that busy anymore and almost always be present in your constituency.

You'll see your roads tarred afresh or where there was none suddenly being paved and the infrastructure of even the remotest rural areas being taken care of by the JKR or other government agencies.

Road being tarred. Coincidence or election goodies?

You can rest assured that the YB's whom you could not even get to meet all these while when they were in office be suddenly seem to be so available to you and your fellow constituents.

Barisan Nasional Boleh!...or flagmaker business boleh?

Those who were all these while engaged with this and that will suddenly be so free to have a drink with you at the local kopitiam's and 'belanja semua' without the slightest hesitation.

Faces that you have been looking at all these while smiling at you from roadside and traffic light junction banners will suddenly materialize in the flesh and come shake your hands and greet you like a long lost friend.

Dentists and beauty salon operators will be having good business during this Election Season and cheery expectant faces be everywhere you turn.

Local eateries and restaurants will be experiencing a surge in business and sales will be good if not excellent!

The sure fire winners of this electoral season will surely be the flag makers and buntings manufacturers who will be laughing their way to the bank no matter who wins or loses!

Anyway, this election season will sure see the alternative media like Malaysiakini busy and occupied with sharing of the latest updates about the corrupt ones seeking re-election. In a way having such sources of info is good for the people. Get to know who is who from following the breaking news! Lots of interesting news scoops out there!

MENJ happy to discover the Pangsoon River. First time he has been here. Surely won't be his last.

Back to my topic. My companion on this daytrip to the rural area, MENJ was surely excited to see the fresh natural vista of the whole area.

He had never been so far up into Hulu Langat and was pleased to see the fresh flowing rivers in the area.

Now he knows why Mahaguru58 loves to escape into the natural paradise that Hulu Langat is famous for every now and then?

I wish that this area be preserved and kept clean and natural as long as possible.

We also came across a few kids fishing at the river. Compared to Sg Klang and Sg Gombak, the rivers here are so much more clearer and thriving with fish.

Carefree days of their lives! These kids will remember these times when they don't have to worry their heads about politics, bills, issues, etc.

All they know is to go to school and after that go fishing when they are free. Don't you feel a wee bit jealous? Hehehehe...I know I do. :P

Click on to the pictures to view them in a full screen mode.
Will give you the feeling of being right there with these kids.

Sure takes away the feeling of being in claustrophobic KL or anywhere else that is a concrete jungle!

The easy going lifestyle of kampong folks such as in Hulu Langat will sure be a refreshing escape to once in a while for people like us here in KL.

We came across this warning banner put up by the villagers aimed at the 'Mat Rempit's ' who have been a menace revving up trouble along the peaceful village roads there!

'Mat Rempit's are maniacs on motorcycles who love nothing but to tear up at breakneck speed along the roads and highways of this nation. Not that many people shed a tear for the devils on two wheels who love causing havoc on our roads and get smashed up at times killing themselves after banging into other vehicles or most of the times into the roadside crash barriers!

Came across this old lady looking so classic at one of the roadside shops there when I stopped over to buy some cut fresh fruits. This grandma must sure have lots of stories to tell about Hulu Langat from years gone by.

I would recommend those of you who are living in KL and the surrounding areas to go explore Hulu Langat.

There are lots of nice places to rest and refresh and lots of beautiful laidback kampong scenes to capture and cherish forever.

Have a restful weekend.

Malaysian Convict gets whipped 20 times as corporal punishment!

This video is hosted by LiveLeak.com and probably shot by one of our prison officers. This video should be posted everywhere as a visual deterrent to those criminals out there who have committed vicious crimes like what happened to the poor 8 year old girl @ Nurin Jazlin Jazimin!

As we speak, another little girl is still missing after over a month and the Malaysian Police have yet been able to trace the perpetrator or perpetrators who are still at large.

We hear of similar attempts at abducting young girls very so often nowadays.

I hope and pray that the missing child is returned to her parents soon and do not even dare to imagine her circumstances right now.

Just hoping for a miracle and stating my total support to our Malaysian Prison authorities for giving the guilty ones their due as what this criminal has been punished with according to our Malaysian Penal Code's provisions.

If the caned criminal still doesn't repent after this corporal whipping, I just don't know what else except the capital punishment that would rid the nation of another vicious felon from roaming our streets and endangering innocents out there?

Remember Noor Suzaily Mokhtar, Canny Ong and so many others?

Justice must not only be served but it must be meted out according to the maximum punishments upon perpetrators such as this!

Syabas Jabatan Penjara Malaysia! We the people salute you!

Imam Hadhari proves to be a flip flopping liar! Sheeesh!

I don't understand how Abdullah Badawi can get away with such a blatant lie and still hope to be trusted by the Malaysian public?

Is he trying to justify the label of 'Mr.Flip Flop' that his detractors have long accused him to be?

For someone who came up with the idea of 'Islam Hadhari', it speaks volumes about the character or rather lack of it when this man can lie to the entire nation nonchalantly saying that 'No! The Parliament is NOT going to be dissolved!' and then out of the blue does the very thing that he was asked about by the nation's reporters yesterday!!!

Do Malaysians still question why independent media such as Malaysiakini are necessary to check and balance the bullshit that is being bandied about by the likes of our wriggly wiggly PM and his gang?

This is the very reason why Muslims like me have a very strong aversion to any bidaah spewing lying innovator!

If he is just any other kampong bumpkin, I and many millions of others wouldn't give a hoot about it but hello!!! This is the Prime Minister of Malaysia we are talking about!

What bloody hell kind of a leadership is this?

Do we even have to wonder about where the wriggling, wiggling VK Lingam and company get their lessons on lying from when we have the nation's so called Chief Executive Officer of Malaysia Incorporated LYING to each and every one of us without an iota of shame or remorse?

The mark of an untrustworthy leader is when he doesn't have the integrity or spine to be upfront about such a very important thing as the dissolution of the Malaysian Parliament!

I wish we have a better leader who will be man enough to say the truth and nothing but the truth!

To all the so called Ulamaks who rubberstamp their approval to this lying flip flopper, I say that you are just the same as him who lies through his teeth to us, the long suffering Malaysians!

He might as well be officiating the School of Lying and Flip Flopping for all we care?

Talk about hypocrisy at the very top! No wonder that when the critics blast the fella left right black and blue, we feel no urgency to defend or even support the lying Imam of Islam Hadhari!

I say this and I say it for all time ever.

I recognize only the true faith of Islam as Allah's Greatest and Final Messenger revealed to all of us Children of Adam Alaihis Salam in completion a thousand four hundred over years ago!

No latter day smart aleck or anyone else who comes to us with 'Islam this and that' is going to get my vote or support! Na'uzubillah!

Malaysians! If you still do not wake up to this atrocious proof before you, you can go fly kite!

We had Bolehland! This land ; that land! Now we can add another. The Land of the Flip Flopping Pee Emm. You take out the 'Emm' and what is left is nothing but pee! No wonder it stinks!!!

May Allah save us all. Amin.

Tiptoeing through the Malaysian political minefield.

As each day passes by, I can't help but notice that the Malaysian political minefield keeps exploding here and there with reports that expose the true shenanigans that have taken place in Bolehland and hush hushed by the current government.

For a government that is being led by those who preach Islamic values, this and that, plus their slogan of 'Cemerlang, Gemilang, Terbilang', one can't help but notice the 'Tembelang' that has taken place in our nation's now proven to be tainted judiciary!

I don't know what other excuses VK Lingam is going to come up with in reaction to this expose in Malaysiakini?

The more the man tries to wriggle his way out of the legal quandary he is charged with, the more entangled he seems to get by the way his former secretary G.Jayanthi has testified against him by spilling all the beans of his attempt to 'dalcha' the whole judicial fiasco that he is being charged to have orchestrated!

Latest update is that PM Abdullah Badawi has just dissolved the Malaysian Parliament as reported here.

So, people. The Malaysian political circus is just about to begin as the Ringmaster has just announced that with effect from 12.34pm today, the nation's Parliament is now dissolved.

Personally, I feel that there are still many issues raised about the Elections Commission's failures to spring clean the electoral rolls that have been exposed to have a lot of errors and reports of non voters discovering that they have been registered in other states, etc.

Doesn't it look like a rush job to dissolve Parliament at this time given the unsolved and unexplained 'monkey business' that the EC Chairman just seems to pooh pooh away at will?

What a bummer!

Abdullah Badawi does seem to disregard all the complaints and grouses of the very people who put him there in the first place.

Will Malaysians still return him to power with a landslide victory over the disunited and always at odds against each other Opposition?

We'll just have to see what transpires after today?

As for the one who said it looks like him, sounds like him, utters 'correct, correct, correct, correct....' all the time, things look like they are finally spinning way out of control for the man to do any sweeping under the carpets or floorboards this time!

G.Jayanthi is the epitome of the 'Hell hath no fury as a woman scorned' phrase!

Her testimony shreds to pieces all the attempts of VK Lingam to deny that his trip to Kiwi Land with former Malaysian Chief Justice Tun Mohamed Eusoff Chin was an arranged holiday!

VK Lingam could turn out to be a major 'pull the plug' syndrome from the BN's chances of retaining the landslide victory they enjoyed in the last General Elections.

I don't know if Malaysian voters are any wiser or have the guts to teach the culprits a lesson this time around?

Frankly speaking, the choice we are faced with in the Opposition lineup aren't that promising either.

I see a lot of N.A.T.O. (No Action Talk Only) has beens in their lineup and a few major crooks as well masquerading as the people's champions in some quarters.

The Malaysian political dinosaurs from both the BN and the Opposition are still clamouring for support to retaining of their political seats of power from their supporters.

The question is why the hell should Malaysians be stuck with just one or two over the hill politicians?

Look at vibrant Singapore! They may just be running an island republic but damn! Look at the way they have turned Singapore into one of the world's best run nation!

Surely we can do better or at least be on par with our south of the border neighbour?

Wise up people! Wise up!

I wish that Malaysians will not re-elect the dinosaurs and choose to cast their precious votes carefully this time around. We need better brighter MP's and SA's.

Sad thing though, the past experience of having just invincible MP's is something to think about?

The trend is for the elected MP's and State Assemblymen and women to just order banners and have their servants tie such banners up at traffic light junctions and prominent areas heralding whatever festive occasions that is in season.

You don't get to see these so called YB's or YAB's that often in your constituency unless there happens to be a photo opportunity to showcase their ugly mutts on national tv!

Sheeeeshhh! When are we ever going to get responsible politicians running this country?

From the looks of it, the nation has been stuck all these 50 years of coming into being with a growing number of recalcitrant, half baked, immature and egoistic nutcases under guise of being MP's and SA's who seem to love nothing but spew bullshit and insults in the Malaysian House of Parliament!

Some don't even turn up for the Parliamentary sessions and earn free pay at the expense of their constituents.

Others love to make a fool of themselves as proven in the past sessions with the likes of those who 'camwhore' themselves with stupid comments and insults against the womenfolk and even poked fun at their female colleagues and counterparts over the 'leaking problem'.

Many have proven themselves to be nothing but apple polishers and attention seekers in Parliament by raising controversial and sensitive issues just to highlight themselves as 'champions' of their political parties.

The track record of all the electoral candidates need to really be taken into consideration before casting your votes!

May Malaysia get a better government this time around. Amin.

Datuk Aziz Sattar - Wawancara Khas oleh Mahaguru58

Kuala Lumpur. 11hb Februari 2008. Laporan dan wawancara oleh Mahaguru58.

Siapa yang tidak kenal Aziz Sattar? Tak kenal? Ish! Ish! Ish! Ish! Pendek umur .....kata P.Ramlee.....

Lihat saja petikan lakonan ketiga bintang bintang legenda dunia perfileman Melayu era zaman Studio Malay Film Productions di Jalan Ampas, Singapura didalam filem blockbuster zaman lampau ,' Pendekar Bujang Lapok' arahan Tan Sri P.Ramlee yang sampai sekarang tak jemu jemu ditonton orang bila disiarkan menerusi kaca tv berjuta juta penduduk tanahair ini dan serumpun Nusantara.

Tak kering gusi kita dibuatnya menonton lawak selamba seniman legenda bertiga ini.

Lawak mereka lawak asli tanpa ada 'slapstick comedy' seperti kebanyakan pelawak pelawak separa masak sekarang!

Itulah keistimewaan lawak Bujang Lapok P.Ramlee.

Datuk Aziz Sattar kini sedang menghadapi kemelut politik dalaman didalam Persatuan Karyawan seperti dilaporkan disini.

Contoh nya seperti didalam petikan laporan dibawah:

Ada penerangan didalam bahasa Inggeris, "By specific audio visual editing in film and video editing, you can turn a saint into a sinner and vice versa! That's the power of suggestive editing in multimedia"

Tanpa olahan ; tanpa suntingan! 'Straight to the point!' Wallahi Wabillahi!

Berani kerana benar! Takut jikalau bersalah!

Daun sireh dikunyah Mustapa,

Network Marketing Tips for Uptrenders in Team Zainking

Uptrenders using the company's system to check their accounts and register new businesses.

Assalamualaikum to all future Uptrenders and to my members of Team Zainking.

I have a few more business building tips for those of you who are Uptrenders out there.

As the Team Zainking Global Business Entrepreneur Leader, I hereby would like to share these important network marketing tips to enable my team members out there learn as to how to improve and upgrade their network marketing business to better levels.

In my earlier post, I have written about :
  • Arriving early for appointments or business meetings and presentations
  • Stop waiting for things to happen
  • Introducing oneself with sixteen second sizzler's
  • Carrying business cards at all times
  • Getting business cards from prospects and potential business contacts
I would like to share more with you here as to what serious Uptrend Business Builders need to do in order to become successful in their network marketing activities.
  • Uptrenders must always have a pen or pencil handy.
When you get to exchange business cards with your contacts, it would help if you write down the details of where you met the person and any special info about them in the back of their business cards so as to enable you to remember them better.

When you make follow up calls to them, such info that you write down on their cards will help you to tell them where and when you both met in the conversation. That would trigger their memory and bolster the trust between you plus help you to secure an appointment with them as the next step in your business building efforts.

For all the business cards that we keep, chances are that if we fail to jot down on them the details as to where and when we met the owners of those cards, we will forget and have no idea as to who they are and when you met them?

So, it is important to keep a pen or pencil handy on us all the time when we go out and meet people. Sometimes people change their mobile phone numbers or have new email addresses. Having a pen or pencil will help us to write down such changes on to their name cards.
  • Making your name tags work for you.
When you are attending a seminar or business opportunity presentation where you have to wear a name tag or badge, it would work to your benefit by writing or printing on such tags your name in large clear letters and your Uptrend Networks Business Group.

When you meet people in such events, they can easily read your name tag and remember you when you greet them. Visuals such as the name tag help in aiding business networking unless of course you are famous and have achieved super stardom in the business and other fields and need no such advertising to let others know about you?
  • Focus on speaking with just a person at a time during a meeting or event.
The key to successfully network and make contact with potential prospects is to focus and concentrate in getting to know just one person at a time during business seminars or business opportunities meetings and events.

If you fail to show your interest and sincerity in knowing a person by not paying attention to them or listen to what they are saying, chances are that you will also fail to secure that contact or connection with the person.

The results of focusing sincerely on one person at a time will manifest itself when further business communication or contact will follow that sincere conversation you had with him or her about the Uptrend Business opportunity.
  • Avoid having others speak to your prospect especially your 'uplines'.
Now, this is something that I have personally experienced where I lost a potential business due to a screwup that an 'upline' of mine committed by speaking to my prospect first before I could even start presenting.

This unfortunate incident took place last month when I unwittingly informed that 'upline' of mine about my meeting a prospect who had driven down to KL from outstation just to see me and join my business network.

The chap turned up at our meeting place and without even asking me for permission started to talk to the wife of the prospect and literally screwed up all chances of closing the deal right there and then by repeatedly telling the prospect that they do not have to sign up first.

They can just listen to the presentation and decide later! Talk about a case of 'diarrhea of the lips' and also utter stupidity on his part! Grrrr.. I just do not wish to even remember the day!

It's bad enough that the presentation was screwed up, it made me so bloody pissed off that I have sworn not to ever have such a thing recur again in my business presentations.

I will never again have any of my so called uplines come screw up my business prospecting.

So must you! Never ever let any idiot come spoil a sure fire deal like that! Learn from my experience. There are lots of such useless ones in the business. Learn to keep them away.
  • Remember to close the deal after your presentation.
What is the objective of meeting a prospect and conduct a business presentation?

Is it not closing a deal between you and them?

Well, each Uptrender must remember this when he or she goes to see someone about the Uptrend Networks business opportunity.

If the prospect is clear about the many wonderful rewards that this business has to offer them and have the right mindset, burning desire to make more money through Uptrend's networking and have the start up capital ready, waste no time in finalizing the business registration of them.

That is the objective of you meeting them in the first place, isn't it?

What the hell for would anyone take the trouble to drive and go meet the people, present the business, spend money for food and drinks, and waste their precious time and efforts, if they fail to secure the new business associate registration by closing the deal at the end of the meetup?

Remember your objective. A business meetup must lead to a new business sign up or don't even bother in the first place to go see them!

Rule of thumb is to be a rational and smart business builder. Not waste precious resources and time in chit chatting away about all these things and fail at the end of the day to capitalize on your efforts.

Winners make sure that for each effort they make out there, they get their due rewards!

Let's go make money by working smart and effectively. If you would like to learn more, come join me in my Team Zainking and DO YOUR PART in building this business.

Don't join me if you want to just sit on your ass and dream about making it big in Uptrend. It doesn't work that way. You want money?

Well, please be informed that you do have to work for it by following my way of doing this business which is to smartly utilize the internet and blog about it and also use Uptrend's dynamic business systems.

Contact me at mahaguru58@gmail.com or sms me at 6-016-3969881 for further details.

Let's make money! Insya Allah.

Samy Vellu and Nik Aziz stricken with 'die in office' syndrome.

The Malaysian political circus is in town again with the likes of ancient dinosaurs in our Malaysian political sphere who keep blasting out their wish to die in office!

I have seen Samy Vellu say out loud time and times again that he would like to be re-elected back into office to do what he has not been doing for the Indians all these 30 over years since he got elected to be the MIC President!

If Samy Vellu had really done his job well, we would not have seen the masses of disgruntled Malaysian Indians having to resort to street protests under the HINDRAF movement to demand better living conditions for the masses of the grassroots of the Malaysian Indians living in dire straits in the rubber and oil palm estates to this day in the Malaysian agricultural industries.

Malaysian Indians are suffering from neglect by the Malaysian Indian politicians and people who are in power have failed to see to it that the poor and destitutes amongst the Malaysian Indians are helped to get out of the rut because corruption and abuses of power are rampant amongst the local authorities or the appointed officials who have not passed on to the poor their share of the government allocations and grants.

So for Samy Vellu to ask that he be returned to power by the electorate is truly a gross violation of the trust by the Malaysian Indians who need fresh new faces to represent them in government.

It's time for the Malaysian Indians to have a new leader. Say no to the dinosaurs!

Another oldtimer who needs to give way to fresh new faces is the Kelantan Menteri Besar, Nik Aziz.

PAS needs a new Menteri Besar in Kelantan. Enough of the power craziness gripping so tightly to the seat of the Kelantan Menteri Besar.

If PAS still manages to hold on to power in Kelantan, PAS would do well to replace the aged Nik Aziz with either Husam Musa or Nasharudin the young bloods who have done much to bring change in the ranks and file of Malaysia's oldest Malay Muslim opposition party.

Malaysians deserve to elect a new government and new opposition leaders in order to bring about a better more dynamic future for all.

Enough of the old and jaded politicians who have been freeloading on our government system.

Even the BN can do with a new President. Abdullah Badawi should give way to Najib to run the show. Don't tell me that AAB is also stricken with the 'die in office' syndrome? Sheeeshhh!!!

What do Malaysiakini readers have to say about this wish of mine?

Don't we all deserve a fresh new lineup of the government and opposition leaders?

Uptrenders need to do these in order to be successful business leaders!

Picture shows myself posing with the CEO of Uptrend Networks, Madam Susie Yeoh.

To all Uptrenders out there especially to members of my Team Zainking!

I would like to share with you some business building tips that if applied to and carried out diligently will transform you into dynamic business builders and successful networkers in Uptrend Networks and any other networking business out there.

Many people who fail in this business and all other Multi Level Marketing or Networking businesses out there are those who do not follow the successful ways of the winners in the business that they signed up under and they DID NOT DO the following to reap the rewards of the respective businesses of the world.

So, if you would like to get out of the losers circle and not be associated with the has beens, also rans and N.A.T.O. ( No Action ; Talk Only gang), please do these:

Be early to your appointments, meetings and business group activities.
It is important for serious Uptrenders to be disciplined and set an example of your commitment to be exemplary business builders .

If possible try to be there at least 15 to 20 minutes earlier at the venue in order to familiarize yourself with the place.

Always try to arrive early before the business presentation starts in order to get to know others and introduce your business prospects to the Uptrend Business Millionaires and Leaders especially your Grand Uplines in order to trigger the networking process and get them to be acquainted with the winners in the business.

Networkers need to do just that. Network and build bridges. Establish connections and make contact. That doesn't mean that you just go and waste time yak yakkety yak with just anybody.

Do your research and target specific business leaders who have proven themselves in the field and work your way towards getting to know them and learn from the achievers about the many ways and tips to making it in the business.

Stop waiting for things to happen.
In our business, we sometimes hear a lot of losers complain that they have joined Uptrend for so long and attended so many business presentations, yet have yet to see any money in their accounts.

These are the ones who usually gripe and grunt saying that they have become Uptrenders since a year or two but nothing has happened in their business! No one has joined them and that their uplines are @#$%^&! good for nothing people who have taken them for a ride bla bla bla!

These idiots who join Uptrend and many other businesses for the wrong reasons and misguided dreams FORGET that Uptrend Networks is NOT A GET RICH QUICK SCAM that many misinformed nitpickers out there keep libeling the business but an ACTIVITY BASED Networking Business that has produced so many successful Uptrend Networks Millionaires and those on their way towards achieving FINANCIAL FREEDOM and becoming FREE FROM DEBTS!

When we investigate as to the causes which has led to these folks to fail in their business networks , we usually find that they approach the networking event and activities of the company as if they were guests of the business instead of being active Uptrend networkers themselves.

They wait for someone to come and introduce them to prospects. They fail to do what they are supposed to do and wait for prospects to come fall down from the skies or to seek them out like a 'heat seeking missile' from the masses of people attending such functions and business presentations. Who the hell do they think they are? Freaking Hollywood superstars?

They fail to wake up to the reality that if it is to be , it is up to them to initiate business contact and introduce the business to people who WANT to make extra income themselves.

This business will work IF the Uptrender does what he or she is supposed to do in the first place which is to BE ACTIVELY NETWORK with the right sort of people.

Uptrend Networks and any other business out there which is ACTIVITY BASED is a business which REQUIRES its members to really go out there and do business activities.

When you fail to do the basics of this business which requires you to get off your butt and go do something to let other people know about your business opportunity, DO NOT GO AROUND complaining that Uptrend has not done this or that for you!!!

To these losers, I say 'WAKE THE HELL UP!'

No one owes you anything! This business is just that. It is a business. It is not a charity or social get together which will come kowtow itself to you and hand you your millions of ringgits on a golden platter WITHOUT YOU DOING YOUR PART TO EARN IT!

You actually need to work for it! You need to go into the crowd. You need to go speak to your prospects and be the HOST ; not act like a guest!

You need to strike up a conversation with your prospects, not try to go cut the queue by speaking to others prospects! No way! If you do that, you'll get kicked out and tarred or feathered metaphorically speaking!

You need to actually do your prospecting first and approach potential prospects to invite them to join you in your business.

You really HAVE TO DO YOUR BUSINESS PROSPECTING by speaking to or making contact with those whom you think might be interested to do this business with you.

You have to do your homework and learn about the Uptrend business yourself inside out in order to be able to do just that. You can't bullshit your way through this business. You do that? You are history!

You really need to go attend the N.E.W. @ New Entrepreneur Workshop that the Uptrend Networks company has prepared for you in order that you get to learn the basics of the Uptrend Networks business building methods and be able to do what you need to in order to see people signing up under you and they do the same in their networks.

When you attend the EOM @ Entrepreneur Opportunity Meeting's , you need to be someone whom people would like to get to know and join you in your business network. You really need to be a dynamic sparkling personality whom people would want to be associated with.

You need to smile and smile sincerely. You need to have that love and care for others in you in order to really be a successful Uptrend Business Leader.

If you smile and extend your hand in salam or greeting, chances are that 99 percent of the people you meet will actually smile back in return and introduce themselves to you!

If not, you can break the ice by simply saying , "I don't think that we have met! I am .....Team ....Business Leader. What's your name?" ..etcetera.

Take it from there and soon you would become a pro at meeting people. This is a people based business and you better learn how to interact with them and learn to be a successful business networker with them if you are really SERIOUS in being a winner in Uptrend.

That is if you really, really want to be successful in Uptrend.

Introduce yourself with a sixteen second sizzler!
Have you ever been introduced to someone and when told as to what the person did for a living , been completely at a loss for words because you had no idea as to what he or she was talking about?

Situations such as that are very uncomfortable and each of us would want to quickly disappear and assimilate elsewhere to avoid the inconvenience of handling such an unimpressive person.

Usually people shy away from having to deal with such situations because nobody likes to be appear foolish or ignorant when facing those who fumble and mumble their words and introductions.

Overly technical and professional jargon can also lead to an early end to such introductions or attempts at conversations.

To make sure that you do not fall into this trap, practice introducing yourself in as simple a statement that you can but that which provokes interest using terms that even a primary six student can understand. You don't have to make things complicated.

Instead of you having to say, " I am So and So, the President of HiTech Systems. We install hitech computer systems for vertical markets, etc." say something like, "My company is called HiTech Systems. We help lawyers and their staff work better using computers."

You can also start your introduction with a statement that tells your name, your company if you have one, the market you serve and how you benefit your clients. For example:

* I'm Tan Eng Hong. I run a round the clock word processing service for screenwriters. I specialize in meeting impossible deadlines.
* I'm Jefri Suparman. My company is called Fresh Gardens. We supply fresh flowers to the finest hotels in KL.
* I'm Dr. Krishnan. I help people slim themselves down. I run the proven Slim n Trim Weight Loss Program.

But if you ever meet someone who baffles you with his or her introduction, do not back away or run off like what everyone does. Ask the person," What exactly does that mean?" Chances are that you will not only learn more about them, you might end up making a new friend or business associate.

Try it. You will benefit in either way.

Carry your business cards all the time.
A business card is the best form of self advertising that any serious business builder can have.

It is straight to the point. Tells others about you and has all your business contact details on it 24/7.

Chances are that if you print your cards right and have them made out to reflect your true self as a true blue professional, you will be remembered and contacted by those who get hold of them, when and if the need arises.

If you wear a jacket, an efficient way to exchange business cards is to keep yours in one pocket and keep those that you receive in the other. That will minimize the need to fumble or sort out your cards from those of others and present you as a true professional who is efficient and smart.

Always try to get the business cards of your prospects or contacts that you make.
Among the easiest way to remember those whom you have met or made contacts is to refer to their business cards.

By getting the business cards of people whom you figure to be potential prospects or new business associates is to call them or contact them through phone, sms, email or instant internet messaging systems.

I for one find Yahoo Messenger to be the most effective business presentation tool for me. I have closed many new business deals with my prospects online through Yahoo Messenger and I recommend you to do just the same.

That's it for this time. Will share more later. Try to learn from the winners out there and stop complaining or griping about the business. Go do what you need to do first and discover the keys to making it in this business proper and stop looking for excuses.

Be the best that you can be and come join me in making extra income the right, smart way!
Call me at 6-016-3969881 or email me at mahaguru58@gmail.com to learn more.

Best regards to you who wants to be amongst the successful Uptrenders! Let's go make money!

Pergilah kamu duduk berdondang sayang mengulit lena dibuai mimpi.

La haula wala quwwata illa billahil aliyyil adhim.

Sg Pangsoon beckons you to cool off at Hulu Langat, Selangor

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh to all Mukmins and May Peace be upon peaceloving others out there!

How are you folks today? Hope you are in the best of health and doing alright with your loved ones.

I would like to invite you to ease your minds and enjoy this clip of the Sg Pangsoon riverwaters flowing clean, cool and smooth over there in Hulu Langat, Selangor DE.

Refreshing, isn't it?

Those of you who would like to cool down and relieve your stress filled hearts would do best to take a drive out of KL and go bring your loved ones for a refreshing cool clean water dip at the cool and clean freshwater flowing Pangsoon River or as we call it in Malay, Sungai Pangsoon at Hulu Langat, Selangor Darul Ehsan.

The natural environment is a cool respite from city life and you can also buy fresh tropical fruits being sold alongside the road to the recreation grounds.

Jemput minum! Care for a cuppa? Mahaguru58 enjoying a hot mug of Nescafe at one of my favorite warongs there alongside the road to Hulu Langat. This stall is opposite Taman Sri Nanding.

Nothing feels as good as having kampong Malay food especially Nasi Minang served fresh and at an unbelievably low price unlike what they charge at KL restaurants!

The stall selling fresh fruits that I like is the one featured below. They stock the best quality naturally ripened Pisang Emas that you can find around the area.

They also sell jackfruits @ nangka, mangoes, papayas, fresh young coconuts, etc.

Further up the road above Bt.14 onwards, there are picnic grounds that we can go to and enjoy a fresh cool dip in the clear cool flowing waters of Sg Pangsoon with our loved ones.

There are also some enterprising ones among the locals who have erected huts such as this for rent to those city folks who would like to experience kampong style recreation along the river.

So, for those who have yet to experience the best of Hulu Langat, our closest Malay kampong natural tropical environment treasure, what are you waiting for?

Forget all unnecessary problems being caused by the wackos out there and go refresh and relax in the best tropical preserves we still have in our blessed nation.

Peace out!

Mahaguru58 regrets Islamophobes scandalizing his joke!

personalized greetings

Isn't it outrageous how folks who go around deriding Islam and Muslims get so worked up when we give them a taste of their own provocations in a manner of jest?

Well, by now every Islamophobe in Malaysia must be losing sleep and getting very pissed off at me and MENJ for joking about suggesting tattooing themselves as a precautionary measure to avoid being mistaken for a revert to Islam and buried as one!!!

By Islamophobe I mean every Non Muslim out there who has an agenda against Islam and us Muslims. These are the ones who post fabricated lies against us and scandalize each and every issue or problem that crops up here in Malaysia and the rest of the Islamic world.

There are others amongst the Non Muslims who just mind their own business and choose to live in peace amongst Malaysia's multi-ethnic, multi-faithed population.

These are the decent folks who deserve nothing but respect and goodwill for knowing how to be a good citizen and neighbor.

There are those however who love nothing but deriding us Muslims and choose to get petty and downright dirty in their expressions of hatred and animosity towards the Muslims especially against the Malays of UMNO who are running the Federal Government of Malaysia with their coalition member parties under the Barisan Nasional and PAS, the Opposition Islamic Party of Malaysia running the State Government of Kelantan.

Nitpickers par excellence, these filthy minded Islamophobes go about calling us names and insulting us just because they can't stomach it that their aspirations to see the Malay Muslims go down from power is but an impossible dream of them!

Islamophobes are just selfish beings who think that they can get away with just about anything and love nothing but to rib us Muslims day in day out in their hate filled blogs and websites.

Those who live in hatred day in day out must surely be suffering from a serious lack of care and compassion in their sorry miserable hearts and minds. I really pity them.

There's no point in living life like these. Life is short dear Islamophobes. Wise up and learn to appreciate what remaining moments of your life you still have and go on with your lives.

Learn to differentiate between a statement and a joke that was exactly what I meant when I was having the dialogue with MENJ in response to this insulting 'HELL NO! I am NOT a MUSLIM card produced by one of you!

If this is not a direct clear insult against the Islamic Authorities of Malaysia for inferring that the Muslims have nothing better to do than to go claim just any dead Kaffir and say that he or she is a revert to Islam, then I don't know what is?

Rational, peaceful people will not go so low as these Islamophobes saying that the Islamic Authorities in Malaysia are doing so with the intent to get hold of the wealth and property of those dead Kaffirs under pretext of stating that the dead Chinese or Indians had embraced Islam before they passed away and abscond the dead person's wealth and squirrel it away to the Baitulmal as stated here by the card designing Islamophobe and further compounded by another of his type here.

This is clearly a case of libel against the honor, dignity and integrity of the Jabatan Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan @ JAWI and Jabatan Agama Islam Selangor and the good name and reputation of each and every Muslim living here in Malaysia!

What are JAWI and JAIS waiting for?
