Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

Saudara saudariku yang dihormati.

Didalam hidup diriku ini, kekadang diri ini terlalu prihatin dan risau tentang hal ehwal ahli keluarga diri ini jika mereka terlibat didalam permasaalahan hidup masing masing sehingga diri ini tidak dapat tidur lelap asyik risau dan bersedih diatas mala petaka yang menimpa diri mereka yang berada jauh dikampong halaman.

Bercucuran airmata ini turun membasahi pipi berduka diatas cobaan hidup duniawi ini dimana yang tercinta sedang bermasaalah jauh disana sedangkan diriku ini tidak berupaya terbang segera pergi membantu apa yang terdaya.

Maka diri ini lah yang beriya iya benar menelefon sekejap sekejap bertanya tanya tentang apa perkembangan situasi semasa disana dan risau memanjang prihatin kepada yang terlibat.

Namun setelah sehari dua diri ini berkeadaan runsing, risau, sedih dan tidak tenteram, terdengar kabar bahawa ahli keluarga tersebut sudah bebas, selesai masaalah dan kembali ke pangkuan keluarga.

Namun kekesalan terasa dihati bila yang dirisaukan, yang dirunsingkan siang dan malam, pagi dan petang tidak terasa perlunya menghubungi diri ini kembali menyatakan bahawa dirinya sudah selamat dan tidak perlu dikhuatirkan lagi?

Apakah sia sia diri ini berasa gundah gulana, mengalirkan airmata, terasa duka lara memikirkan tentang dia yang dirindui, manakala bagi dirinya seolah tidak mengambil peduli akan kerisauan orang tua ini yang sekian lama mengorbankan keperluan diri demi keselesaan dirinya dan meninggalkan segalanya berhijrah sehelai sepinggang ke kota besar mencari kedamaian dan ketenangan sekeping hati yang retak seribu, mencari keredhaan Ilahi demi mengakhiri sisa sisa hidup ini dengan usaha mencapai nafsul mutma'innah?

Ya Rabbi! Hanya padaMu hamba ini berserah, bertawakkal padaMu Ya Rahman kerna Dikau tidak menghampakan munajat dan do'a rintihan hati hamba hamba Mu Ya Allah.



Diri ini mempelajari satu pengajaran hidup tentang perlunya diri ini mengetahui samada harus atau tidak diri ini bersusah payah merisaukan tentang seseorang padahal insan itu tidak peduli sama sekali mengirim kabar, mengutus berita supaya hati manusia ini tenteram tidak bergundah gulana lagi?

Hanya Zikrullah sahaja menjadi penenang jiwa ku ini. Ya Dzul Jalali Wal Ikram.

Tawakkaltu Allallah hu La ila ha ill lall Laah huwal Azizul Hakim.

Malaysian Night Markets are a Visual and Culinary Delight!

Greetings my fellow Malaysians.

I pray that you are in the best of health, wealth and having peace of mind.

I would like to share with you something that I am sure most of the Malaysian public would feel comfortable in visiting the night markets @ 'pasar malam' and tasting the simple delights of Malaysian culinary selections that are sold for a fraction of what it would cost us at the higher end places.

Welcome to the Pasar Malam's of Malaysia. Feast your eyes on what I have here for you.



















This is 'Apam Kukus' @ Steamed Cake. Usually found being sold in the northern states. This Apam seller hails from Kedah. These 'apam' are eaten with salted coconut flakes. These particular 'apam' are sold at 5 cakes for a ringgit.


















These Malay ladies are selling Chicken & Beef Satay and Rojak @ Fruit Salad with sweet, sour and spicy 'sambal'.


















These are the sticks of satay waiting to be grilled over a blazing bed of charcoal. A stick of satay sells for 50sens here. Rice cakes are optional.


















The durian seller. At the night markets, durians are usually sold at a bargain. As you can see in the background, three fruits were being sold for RM10.00. Besides them are the ones being sold for 2 fruits at RM10.00.

The special ones especially those D24 specimens are sold much more expensively. Such designer fruits can cost RM15 upwards each.


















Your local grocery store on the streets of Malaysia. Lower income bracket Malaysians love shopping at night markets because the goods are usually fresh and sold at a price cheaper than at the big time superstores and hyper marts of this country.


















These teenagers followed their mom to buy groceries. Good to see such bright sparks being filial to their mother. May they grow up as obedient and filial children, successful in their life's. Ameen.

But as some of my readers mention, it's been two months of non stop politics in the Blogosphere here so I am sharing all these other interesting facets of our unique Malaysian life.

Let's all not forget to appreciate what we have with us and stop going overboard in playing along to the political circus that we all need to take a break from every now and then.

We have only this one life here on Earth, people. Let's learn to stop and smell the roses or taste that 'Yong Tau Foo' so to speak.

After all, life is a whole kaleidoscope of sight, smell, sound and taste. Let's live it to the max!

I just uploaded one of the videos I took of the scenes around the Chow Kit Wet Market, a dynamic lively trading place for traders of Indonesian descent and one of the most interesting wet markets you can find here in the busy metropolis of Kuala Lumpur.

Just ask about 'Chow Kit' to any true blue KLite and you would get an interesting reply speaking of noisy fruit traders, fish sellers, chicken traders, vegetables, 'ulams', and anything else that Malaysians are fond of?

In this video I shot scenes of traders selling fruit, fritters, apam balik, used jeans, a medicine man and an ulam seller.

Elections Commission tries to muzzle People's Alliance.

I read with disgust the blatant attempt by the Elections Commission of Malaysia to muzzle the Malaysian People's Alliance @ Pakatan Rakyat by broadening their so called powers to control political parties from using the internet by way of using web sites, blogs and sms to carry out their campaigning?

Is this not the stupidest shameless unethical manner that the EC @ SPR has ever come up with to try bolster the BN's chances in the next GE?

I say that it's not only the dumbest thing I have come across since getting interested in our nation's social and political matters; it's also the clearest proof that this Elections Commission is clearly biased against the Malaysian Opposition parties!

Opposition parties must rally their legal officers to look into the validity of the EC to attempt to muzzle the Opposition further and challenge this attempted violation of the right to free speech in court!

Not only has the BN monopolized the broadcast media, print media, etc. now their stooges in the EC are attempting to set limitations online as well?

Will Malaysia's Opposition remain silent about this?

Is there any limit to the EC's foolhardiness?

Pasar Pudu Kuala Lumpur Virtual Tour

Dear readers,

Join me as I take you on a virtual tour of Pasar Pudu, one of Kuala Lumpur's oldest wet markets. This market showcases mostly the Chinese traders and hawkers who congregate into a thriving hive of activity just off Jalan Pudu, another town in Kuala Lumpur that goes back hundreds of years.

As Malaysians, we have to acknowledge that there are various ethnicities who make up the kaleidoscope of multi faithed, multi cultural Malaysians who give our country it's unique identity.

Malaysia's wet markets are an interesting central point of traders coming together to offer for sale and exchange of goods that aren't found in hypermarkets and superstores that have cropped up in the major cities and towns of this country.



Frankly speaking, there are some stalls selling pork in the inner areas of the wet market and those who are squeamish ought to refrain from venturing forth into the deeper areas of the whole area.

Funny thing is that some of my fellow Muslims are so squeamish about coming into contact with the pig but have no qualms in committing other major sins without a second thought?

Like Zina for example. Contact with pork can be washed off using the 'Samak' procedure but the fruits of Zina causes illegitimacy to run in the lineage of it's perpetrators for generations and generations.

Islam even allows Muslims to consume the meat of the pig IF they are forced to in situations where there are NO OTHER alternative sources of sustenance to enable them to live?

Personally, I'd never resort to that if it really comes to such a choice! So help me God!

UMNO Cheras Leader Dato Wira Syed Ali Al Habshee unplugged!

The whole system of UMNO stands in danger of imploding from within because the party had been rotting from the core for many, many years and always had its Supreme Council members quick to cut off anyone who dared to go against the grain of the establishment?

As a result, quite a large number of dissatisfied members from UMNO's grassroots defied the KL Chiefs and in the last GE, voted against the BN.























Dato Wira Syed Ali Al Habshee is being open in his stating that it is ridiculous of Dato Seri Hishamudin Tun Hussein Onn to have apologized for his unsheating of the Panca Warisan keris of UMNO and kissing it befitting his position as the UMNO Youth Chief in the last UMNO General Assembly!
















He also speaks clearly that he is all for the present UMNO President to hand over power to Dato Seri Najib Tun Abdul Razak as soon as possible to prevent UMNO from sinking into the abyss of political has beens after their 5 decades of political dominance over this country which seems imminent seeing the way UMNO members nationwide are voicing out their dissatisfactions over the way Abdullah Badawi has handled himself and cost the BN the unprecedented loss of 4 more states in the recent polls!

The question now is whether Abdullah Badawi and his cronies will allow the very vocal Cheras UMNO Division Head to get off easily after this open call from Dato Wira Syed Ali Al Habshee asking Malaysian PM Abdullah Badawi to resign from his seats of power a.s.a.p.?

Has UMNO learned from their loss in the 12th GE or will they play see no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil as usual?

To Dato Wira Syed Ali Al Habshee, good luck to you sir and hope that you brace yourself for the backlash coming your way.

The ballcarriers in the UMNO Supreme Council have still not been cured of the cataract clouding their eyes and have tons of earwax blocking their ear canals and befuddled brains that refuse to listen to reason, especially from folks like you who will be accused of having Arabian DNA in your blood?

Their definition of Malay is whoever will pawn his or her ideals and principles just for the sake of apple polishing the sleepy headed one in Seri Perdana.

Mahathir's HardTalk against Abdullah Badawi

It comes as no surprise to me in watching Tun Dr.Mahathir Mohamad expose his mean streak in lambasting the current Malaysian Prime Minister Dato Seri Abdullah Badawi on the BBC's HardTalk political discussion program hosted by Stephen Sackur, the equally caustic BBC host recently.



The thing is Mahathir shows his true colors by remaining obstinate and portrayal of the delusions of his own self thinking that he is the squeaky clean best former Malaysian Prime Minister for all time?

I believe that it is as people say that some people can go to such lengths in being a narcissist that whatever they conclude and think of themselves being so perfect and sin free, that they really live in a cocoon of self worshipping state of dementia that they refuse to believe that they have erred in their ways in their life?

Mahathir Mohamad shows such tendencies and I for one think that he will never come out of it?

Din Merican wrote about Mahathir's rants and raves in a letter to Malaysiakini where he says Mahathir has shot himself in his mouth and foot repeatedly all these while and this time he has done it on world television for the HardTalk BBC program is watched worldwide by billions of people.

There's one more part that the BBC dare not share with the world here in You Tube where Mahathir socks it to the Brits and the Zionist Jews and remains firm towards Stephen Sackur and doesn't give him room to pin Mahathir down any where in the Hard Talk program!

Mahathir may not be the best Malaysian Leader of all time but he sure has balls of titanium in standing up to the Western media especially the notorious Hard Talk host Stephen Sackur who almost always drives other leaders flustered in trying to answer his hard hitting slammos!

The Mahathir phenom is here to stay and there's no way this old man is gonna keel over and say sorry to anyone!

Antara Melayu Menghunus Keris dan Gertakan Maori!

Tergerak hati ini membicarakan kemelut yang sedang dihadapi pelbagai lapisan masyarakat di Malaysia.

Pertama sekali saya melihat keadaan Melayu seperti Hishamudin Tun Hussein Onn yang dituduh menakutkan orang orang bukan Melayu dengan penghunusan keris UMNO nya.

Bagi saya, keris itu dah lambang Melayu UMNO. Dia sebagai Ketua Pemuda UMNO berhak menghunus kerisnya dan melafazkan taat setianya terhadap sumpah setia mempertahankan jati diri orang orang Melayu.

Itu tak menjadi salah. Perbuatan menghunus keris dan mengancam membasahi keris tersebut dengan darah orang orang Cina seperti dilakukan oleh Najib Tun Razak itu yang salah semasa Najib menjadi Ketua Pemuda UMNO dahulu!

Jika perbuatan mengancam sesuatu kaum seperti yang dilakukan Najib didiamkan , maka itu tidak adil namanya kerana ada unsur ancaman tertentu terhadap sesama warganegara!

Ada perbezaan diantara tindakan Hishamudin dan Najib.

Lagi satu kemusykilan saya, apakah orang orang Melayu harus kehilangan sifat dan semangat keperwiraan mereka dizaman ini?

Keris adalah senjata tradisional Melayu. Melayu dan keris tidak patut dipisahkan. Cumanya Melayu harus berhemah didalam penghunusan keris mereka supaya tidak kelihatan sebagai mengancam bangsa Cina tanpa perlu?

Cina Malaysia zaman sekarang tak adanya yang bersengketa secara terbuka terhadap orang orang Melayu.

Mereka juga anak bumi tanahair ini. Generasi warganegara Malaysia kini adalah mereka yang lahir di bumi ini sama seperti kaum India, Sikh, Orang Asli, dsbnya.

Setiap warganegara berhak diperakui sebagai anak watan pribumi ini tanpa di anak tirikan sesiapa?

Memang seluruh warga Malaysia perakui orang orang Melayu sebagai bumiputera namun harus juga dipertimbangkan akan hak hak warga Malaysia yang lain dimana mereka juga lahir disini.

Kemana lagi perlu mereka pergi kerana ini adalah tanahair mereka juga?

Kesultanan Melayu dipertuan oleh setiap warga Malaysia tanpa mengambil kira keturunan dan pegangan agama masing masing.

Ini adalah hakikat yang perlu kita faham dan terima dengan seikhlas hati. Tidak harus ada sesiapa mempertikaikan Kesultanan Melayu kerana negara Malaysia ini merupakan negara beraja berparlimen. Ini adalah hasil persetujuan sekelian pemimpin pemimpin pelbagai kaum semasa membentuk negara Malaysia.

Bilamana Hishamudin menghunus keris Panca Warisan UMNO, adakah beliau mengancam sesiapa?

Jika benar Hishamudin ada mengancam sesiapa, maka baru lah ada asas untuk mendakwa nya dengan terbukti bersalah melakukan jenayah mengancam dengan niat.

Jika sebaliknya, maka tidak patut beliau di'kambing hitam'kan oleh sesiapa pun apatah lagi oleh musuh musuh politiknya?

Satu persoalan bermain didalam benak fikiran saya. Jika Melayu tidak menghunus keris dan menjaga kesinambungan warisan keperwiraan persilatan Melayu, siapa lagi yang akan meneruskan warisan bersejarah warisan pendekar Melayu zaman silam?

Apakah kita mahu Melayu seperti Hishamudin bersifat munafik dan bermuka muka mengatakan tidak bermaksud mengancam sesiapa?

Perbuatan menghunus keris dan mencium bilahnya ada lah satu perlakuan seorang pendekar Melayu.

Adalah salah jika kita menahan pemuda pemuda Melayu melakukan apa yang alami bagi seseorang pendekar?

Sepatutnya baik Melayu, Cina, India, Sikh dan sesiapa sahaja disarankan memelihara semangat keperwiraan masing masing supaya musuh negara gentar terhadap kedaya upayaan para pemuda kita!

Lihat sahaja para pemuda dan pahlawan Maori di New Zealand!



Mereka digeruni kerana sikap dan sifat kepahlawanan mereka dengan gaya pembeliakkan mata mereka serta acah acah mereka dengan senjata tradisional mereka!



Tidak ada pula sesiapa yang mengadu terasa diri di ancam dan digertak oleh pendekar pendekar Maori itu?

Ada beza ketara diantara mengancam memandikan keris Melayu dengan darah Cina seperti dikatakan pernah dilakukan Najib semasa menjawat Ketua Pemuda UMNO dan Hishamudin semasa menghunus keris dan mencium nya demi mempamerkan semangat keperwiraan Melayu.



Didalam kita memperbincangkan sesuatu perkara sepeka begini, harus kita berlaku adil terhadap sesiapa pun biarpun ianya Datuk Hishamudin Tun Hussein Onn.

Semangat pendekar usah dicantas diatas nama sensitiviti kaum.

Pemuda pemuda Malaysia dari semua bangsa dan agama harus disokong menjadi perkasa mempertahankan negara dari sebarang ancaman musuh kita dari luar!

Ini pendapat saya.

In the Name of the Ringgit - Friday Prayer Traders Nuisance.

Lately, I find it quite a nuisance that there are traders from amongst the Muslims who just do not have any commonsense in them when trying to capitalize on the opportunity presented to them when it is Friday and Muslims congregate in large numbers at the masjids for the Compulsory Friday prayers.

I have grumbled to myself in my heart and tried to keep my temper from getting the better of me when at times, unthinking motorcyclists would indiscriminately park their bikes in the space under the tent at Masjid Azzubair Ibnul Awwam at Taman Tenaga, Cheras that was meant to accommodate the overflowing congregation during the Jumaat prayers.

Today, my patience ran thin and I had to take action by summoning a fellow Muslim to help me remove the goods of a group of serban clad, jubah wearing traders from a madrassa who had set up their business at the space where the Jamaah use for praying!

This took place at Masjid Saidina Othman at Bandar Tun Razak, KL!

It is bloody ridiculous for these fellows who are supposed to be religious and well informed about the do's and don'ts when it comes not to inconvenience the gathered Muslims who needed to stay in 'Saff' and pray according to the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam!

I have no problems whatsoever if they wanted to use the space on any other day to do whatever halal business they wanted to carry out in the masjid's compound but to be so bloody 'kiasu' and go occupy space that is meant for the congregation to pray to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala without considering as to whether their actions were right or otherwise simply saw me blow my fuse today!

Not that I went berserk and ran amok or anything but I am a do'er and I just felt that I had to take matters into my own hands!

Take matters into my own hands I surely did by summoning a fellow Muslim to help me carry and shift the tables plus all their trading goods out of the space underneath the tent and move them out from the area!

I just got so pissed off that such Muslims nowadays can be so self centred and not bother whether their actions are right or wrong as they had robbed the Jamaah of the space to pray to Allah Azza Wa Jalla?

I can excuse the buggers if they were ignorant chaps from some far flung areas who didn't have any grey matter in the space where their skulls are?

The thing that got me afire was that these traders were ones who looked like 'alim's but their actions were clearly and absolutely 'zalim'!

It wasn't enough that outside the masjids were rows of traders, male and female all busy, occupied with their trades and businesses, these 'alim' chappies had the cheek to set up shop in the space reserved for prayers!

After the Friday prayers and after my sunat prayers, I approached the leader of the group and firmly gave him a piece of my mind albeit in a controlled manner.

The chap apologized and said that he thought it was okay for no one from the Jamaah had come forward and objected to their setting up the tables there?

Clear cut case of failure to practice what they preach at the madrassa's I assume?

I mean, any self respecting intelligent Muslim would surely not do what they did?

Taking up space meant for the Jamaah to perform their prayers and putting business before the interest of the Jamaah and not considering the needs to accord to the Jamaah their space to pray to Almighty Allah!

It just goes to show that the actions of a few self centred fellows in just wearing the serban's and sporting beards without accompanying such noble attire and appearances with the right conduct @ 'adab' and 'akhlak' that ought to be the highlight of their selfs when being in public?

Nowadays, it is unfortunate that the few unscrupulous ones like the chaps at the masjid today are those who inconvenience the Ummah in the name of the mighty Ringgit!

What a bloody shame?

I just wonder what other acts of stupidity are we gonna face from such kinds in the future?

Pasar Pudu Wet Market in Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur 24th April 2008.

I took an early morning trip to the Pasar Pudu Wet Market as it's been some time since I had been there to snap some photos of the market scenes showing the various Chinese traders in this vibrant market.


















As you can see, the shops are yet to be opened for business as it was still too early in the morning. Most shops there open from 9.00am onwards.



































I came upon this basin full of Peking Ducks which were about to be hung on the rack ready for customers to snack upon them early morning.


















The stall is named Soon Fatt Beijing Roasted Duck. It's mainly for Non Muslim customers from my observation. No worries. Let our fellow Malaysians enjoy themselves. Bon appetit!

The Pudu wet market is a pulsating vibrant activity filled hodge podge collection of individual traders grouped together like a kaleidoscope of various Chinese business folks who complement each other with the varieties of goods and produce that they put up for sale.

Bargaining is part and parcel of the trading done here and you will hear all kinds of haggling and different Chinese dialects assailing your eardrums from all around you.

'Ketam Batu' @ Crabs on sale. When I was a kid living in the village back home in East Jelutong, Penang, I used to catch such crabs which made their nests around the 'tongkang' wrecks embedded in the mudflats along the foreshore of my seaside village.

I would use a long iron rod with a hook at the end which I would push deep into the crab's hole! The crab would lock on to the hook with it's claw and would not let go even when I pulled it out with force.

It was easy to catch such crabs but we needed to be extra careful so as not to be careless where the crab might just clamp up on our hands if we were not alert!

I wonder where these crabs originate from? I mean, KL is landlocked. Could be from either Kuala Selangor or Klang areas?

I have lots more photos for you but it's getting late and I need to sleep. Will follow up on this.

Al Fatihah - In Memoriam of Rustam Sani, Reformist, Writer & Blogger

Rustam Abdullah Sani, a Malaysian political & social reformist, activist, prolific writer, academician plus recently turned blogger passed away in the early morning hours at his residence in Gombak, Selangor today.

I first came to know about Allahyarham Rustam Sani when he was up on stage together with the other politicians at the Forum Keadilan in the Dewan Sri Pinang, Penang way back in 1999.

I pray that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala will shower his soul with Mercies and place him amongst those upon whom He Favors. Ameen.

When sex is no longer sacred - innocent life's get wasted!

Among the ominous Signs of the coming of the Last Day, is when something as important as lawful sex within holy marriage no longer remains sacred and widespread acts of adultery or sex before marriage takes place amidst a society that tends to be lackadaisical about it!

Hardly a day goes by without us hearing of a rape, a molestation, sexual crimes hog the newspaper headlines and someone somewhere comes across a dead baby, thrown into the rubbish bins, sewers, rivers, swamps and other areas.

This scourge of immorality is spreading all over the world and Malaysia has on record it's fair share of these social breakdowns smearing the reputation of our society.

Following are some pictures of dead babies born out of wedlock that have been disposed off by their irresponsible mothers and fathers who have sinned yet do not have the will to face the repercussions of their succumbing to their raging lusts!

Brace yourselves for the realities of the present social ills that you are about to see.

A pitiful scene of a life that was conceived in a moment of lustful illicit pleasure yet here it lies dead and disposed off in a manner that only uncaring humans amongst us could have the evil heart to do?

What if the parents of the perpetrators had dumped them off in the same manner? They would not have lived to have grown up and committed this atrocity!
































A dead baby that was burnt in an attempt to dispose of the evidence that it was ever born? A life that was snuffed out due to it's illegitimate status born out of wedlock due to the social and moral breakdown of our Malaysian society in the land of 'Islam Hadhari'.

Most cases such as these are usually the crime of Malay teenagers and young adults who fall prey to the wooing of their irresponsible beaus and the 'tidak apathy' of our couldn't care less Malaysian society.

































A dead infant scooped out from an open sewer. The policeman must have become immune to seeing such tragic victims of the lustful ones in this country. Does anybody in authority care?














Dead and disposed in a mangrove swamp. The ones who did this did not think of the consequences when they ooh'd and aaah'd in their moments of illicit sexual throes that after the baby was born, the cruel ones coldbloodedly resorted to kill it and dump the corpse into the mangroves!














A fine healthy baby born out of a sinful liaison of it's useless parents lies dead, dumped in the grass of a park. How could they have been so heartless?


















Dead babies like this turn up at the entrances of surau's and masjids. Usually followed by a note such as this.

How many more dead babies does this nation have to see before the authorities and members of our Malaysian society do something to nip these scourge in the bud?

It's time that Malaysians wake up and start attending to this growing problem. Our nation's youths and young adults need to be saved from committing these vicious crimes.

Start caring and watch over our loved ones before they end up as part of the sex crimes statistics.

Doesn't DBKL check the quality of the contractor's works?

Have you noticed that the quality or rather lack of it seems to be the deteriorating standards of the public works carried out by the subcontractors engaged by the local authorities of the various states lately?

I snapped these pictures of the crumbling kerbs in Bandar Tun Razak near the CIMB Bank branch besides Jalan Jujur.

Do you notice that the kerb is made up of low quality crumbling concrete or rather substandard cement?

I remember seeing much more better quality public infrastructures commissioned by the British Colonials and even the Dutch Masters in the structures back home in Georgetown, Penang and at the Stadhuys Complex at Bandar Melaka.

Centuries old and yet remaining solid to this day.

I recall reading about mandores of the City Council of Penang supervising public works carried out by either the PWD @ JKR back in the colonial times ensuring that the quality of materials used and standard of workmanship were kept to the highest standards back then.

Doesn't modern day City Hall of KL bother monitoring such works by the obviously cheating contractors as shown by their lousy workmanship in the building of such kerbs in the photos above?

I have seen walkways caving in, roadsides going all uneven and crumbling here and there in KL that at times I wonder how the hell do these shoddy contractors get away with it?

Does DBKL have supervisors watching over these crooks to ensure that the contractors use proper materials and do a quality job or do they just not bother?

I am sure that the problem is not just in KL here but all over this country.

BN really proves to be a 'Kerajaan Harga Barang Naik'!

Can anyone update me as to when this silent price increase of the very basic foodstuffs such as wholemeal bread has been allowed to be jacked up in it's steadily climbing price per loaf?

Did Shahrir Samad, the new Minister for Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs approve this price hike of something so basic from RM2.70 per loaf of wholemeal bread to shoot up 30 sens in one leap to now retailing at RM3.00 per loaf?

Where is the logic of increasing the price of bread by 30 sens per loaf when the price increase for flour is about the same per kilogram?


Serves Malaysians right for continuing to return the irresponsible idiots of the BN back into power after more than half a century of being fleeced and squeezed out of every sen and ringgit that we can be ripped off by these crooks in power?

I long for the day when these scoundrels will be voted out of power!

To all Malaysians, when will you ever learn not to vote for these robbers who smile like the sly devils that they are and continue to slit our throats and empty our wallets faster than a speeding bullet?

Will Malaysians forever be doomed to be deaf, dumb and blind to the BN's atrocities?

Touch n Go plus Smart Tag Customers get lousy service!

Kuala Lumpur. 21st April 2008.
I went to purchase a new Touch n Go card from the East-West (Cheras-Kajang) Highway Toll Office off the Salak South area as my old Touch n Go card at times acted up and can't be properly detected at the LRT stations due to it being more than 6 years old and needed replacement.

So, I drove in to the 'Pejabat Tol Plaza Lebuhraya Hubungan Timur Barat' just off Salak Selatan to get me a brand new Touch n Go card.

Imagine my disgust in seeing the way the Toll Office has set up it's ' Touch n Go plus Smart Tag' Sales Counter and Customer Service?

The Touch n Go plus Smart Tag users or customers are forced to climb stairs and wait in the stairwell which has no air conditioning except one small oscillating fan at the lone counter that they have atop the stairs?

















This is the stairwell I am talking about?


















What if the motorist is a weak, elderly person or a handicapped driver? Will he or she be able to drag his or herself up to the sales counter atop the stairs?























Do the Toll Plaza management even bother about taking into account the hardships their customers face in being treated like this?

Which unthinking person ever thought of setting up the Touch n Go / Smart Tag sales counter in such a locale?

Not that smart as we can all see! Blithering idiot would be the better term to call the chap!



































Sometimes talking about things isn't enough and one needs to furnish hard evidence to back up one's complaint so here is a video to give you an idea of why I say that this Toll Office has probably the worst sales counter and so called customer service in the nation's highway system?



Feast your eyes to the despicable manner by which this Toll Office forces it's cash paying customers to climb stairs and leaves them hot and humid in the stairwell and has just one lousy counter to serve its obviously distressed customers!

What if the driver is a handicapped person or a pregnant mom or elderly person?

What bloody kind of service is this?

This is the only Touch n Go / Smart Tag Sales Counter that I have seen forcing it's customers to wait in the stairwell and obviously not giving a hoot as to the discomfort that they force their cash paying customers who come to reload or purchase their Touch n Go cards or Smart Tag units?

So much for their 'Khidmat Pelanggan' bullshit!

Those of you who are not hale and hearty, ought to consider going to other Toll Plaza's to do your business.

The 'Pejabat Tol Plaza Lebuhraya Hubungan Timur Barat clearly doesn't give a rat's ass about it's customers!

I am attracted by how you do dakwah through blogging. I've got a question to ask you that came up when i read this post. Do you think religion will last in time to come? What i mean is, i am worried by how teens nowadays do not take religion seriously, as an important principle of life. To them its something irrelevant and unimportant.

Dunno abt masyarakat Melayu/Islam in Malaysia but in Singapore, its becoming more apparent and evident here in Singapore, when teens forsake religion for their own needs and current trends. This is my generation. I am afraid that after your genration, or even mine, religion (not only Islam) will cease to exist as many had forsaken it, treatingit as "uncessary" in current times, and its just a manifestation of awkward beliefs of people in the past.

Is it inevitable? How to we go abt preventing it? I believe it will happen one day, looking at the current state of the world, more globalised and giving way to unruly beliefs, trends and westernization.

Also, abt the students and the lecture notes part... I believe we students are doing something benifitial and is encouraged in Islam. Although we might be engrossed with studying,and may not be thinking of Allah when we study, i believe, it will come to everyone due to human intuition, how studies (knowledge)n God are related and how the 2 factors is playing a part in whatever you're doing in life. degrees and diplomas are rewards for hardwork, but the realisation and kesedaran we got along the way, is important, to feed the siritual need of every human being.

May it lead all of us to the correct path of Islam or not. SO i agree with you that we shld use our god given intellect to get closer to Allah s.w.t. InsyaAllah.

It’s a pleasure to receive your comment. Happy to know that you are one of my readers and appreciate your feedback regarding my writings.

Regarding my using the internet to carry out my Dakwah efforts, I believe that as a Caller to Islam, I must utilize every platform of communications to reach out to my fellow human beings, regardless of creed or color?

I am confident that if we Muslims are to succeed in our missions to be the true followers of Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam, we must grab the opportunity to pass on his message to all mankind, through the internet.

The internet is a wonderful network of multimedia systems that helps us to spread the truth about Islam by way of text, visuals, audio and interactive medium where we get to reach out to others all over the worldwide web.

Online systems such as You Tube and other video hosting services provide us a fantastic medium to share the truth of Islam or to show the world what Islam really is or to use the service to teach others about our faith.

I hope that you too will eventually be a Caller to Islam in your own way and maybe even be better than this old man in being a ‘kick ass’ Da’ee in the near future!

Okay, regarding your question as to whether religion will last in times to come?

None of us can foresee the future save for Almighty Allah.

Yet, based on what is happening in our lifetimes today, the realities are indeed worrying if we look at the way ‘born Muslims’ are taking for granted the faith of Islam and not really putting in the efforts to learning or studying about what they claim to profess?

As you have stated, teenagers are the ones who are in danger of living life devoid of understanding the very essence of the foundations of Islam in their life’s and what they really ought to know about the building blocks of the faith?

To me, my fears are not only about the teenagers but also about the elders especially their parents and even the grandparents who are also at times clueless about the religion they are supposed to profess and in frequent cases not even practice in the truest sense?

Muslims of the world are wallowing in ‘maksiat’ @ sin in all forms and sadly do not want to accept that they are at fault in living a lie as they do not really make the effort to truly understand about Islam and what it takes to be a true Muslim what more a Mukmin?

Muslim teenagers who are neglected by their parents or guardians in the need to learn about Islam and to understand what being a Muslim demands of them are unfortunately exposed to the pitfalls of sin and wander aimlessly through life and at times get hurt in their life.

Many fall victim to the manipulations of others and some die young and are added to the crime statistics of the local police departments.

Those who survive through their teenage years usually end up as bitter adults who in turn abuse those who come into their life and the vicious cycle continues year after year.

Learning about Islam and keeping to the do’s and don’ts of the faith are crucial towards ensuring the futures of our teenagers regardless of where such youngsters are and in whatever society?

In my online exchanges with Muslims all over the world, I have come across many cases where young Muslims have become victims of sexual abuse, parental neglect and society’s apathy where these youngsters at times cry out to me for spiritual help and counseling.

I try to help whenever I can but at times it can be just so overwhelming and I just have to pray to Allah that they get to save themselves from getting dragged in to the pits of their society’s downwards spiral to the bottomless state of those who are beyond any help?

I understand what you say as to the state of youngsters nowadays who live a life devoid of any resemblance to an Islamic state of being?

Modern life which is uninhibited and almost always heading towards a hedonistic existence where sex, drug abuse, hip hop culture, etcetera takes a toll on the ignorant youths in our world and such disastrous consequences are taking place at an alarming level in most countries of the world and Malaysia is not spared of such social problems which are spiraling out of control as we speak?

Islam remains as a lifesaver yet many teenagers aren’t getting the right information about it as a result of the Muslims apathy towards the younger generations.

When teenagers cry out for help and assistance from those whom they thought would be able to help them out, most of them end up getting abused by these very persons who put up a charade of being holy moly and victimize them in return.

Islam must be taught to each and every Muslim child, teenager, young adult and the elders as well, through each of the generations that exist in our society.

The burden of carrying out this Dakwah al Islamiyah is borne by the relevant Islamic Affairs Department of every state and also by the Islamic Development Department of the Prime Minister’s Department here in Malaysia and Majlis Agama Islam Singapura in your island republic.

Informed young Muslims such as yourself can play a major role in disseminating correct information about Islam to your peers by way of starting a blog and network amongst your friends who in turn can do the same and branch out as a dynamic vibrant movement of reaching out to your fellow Muslims there in Singapore.

Start small and share with whatever you find useful here in my blog with your friends.

I give you my full permission to take whatever you need from my articles here and use them to spread the knowledge about Islam in your republic.

The authorities and Islamic NGO’s in both Malaysia and Singapore ought to go in and address the rot taking place in society using wisdom and rational counter approaches.

You must understand that change doesn’t take place overnight?

Remember that our Holy Prophet Khatamun Nabiyyi @ Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam took 13 long years of his life in Makkah al Mukarramah after being appointed as Allah’s Greatest Messenger in just teaching the Qureisyi Arab Kaffirs there that ‘There is No God but Allah and that he Muhammad is the Final Messenger’?

After the Hijrah to Madinah al Munawwarah, Allah’s Greatest Messenger took another 10 years to teach the Muslims of his adopted city, about how to live life as true Muslims and how to practice Islam?

We have today before us countless sources of knowledge about Islam and various forms of authentic Islamic multimedia that can be easily shared with our readers all over the world through our blogs and websites in the internet.

All it takes for us to utilize this wonderful platform of communications, is to follow through with our will to help spread the truth of Islam to all who come within our network and contacts.

Just do what we can and leave the rest to Allah. We can do it. Even after we die and are no longer around, what we have written or published online will remain online in the internet archives accessible to all until Yaum al Qiyamah @ Doomsday.

Now, about the matter of the majority of the university and college students not truly taking the initiative to do their part towards the Dakwah efforts in spreading the truth about Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala, it’s not that I say that the entire Muslim university and college students population are at fault but rather a large majority who are often in the news for the wrong reasons?

If we can trigger an awakening of sorts amongst these promising young Muslims to do their part for Islamic Dakwah, Insya Allah we might be able to see a profound change in the Islamic world around us?

All it takes is for the spark of Islamic awareness to catch fire in the hearts and minds of our fellow Muslims of Malaysia and Singapore.

Soon we will be able to see the renaissance of Islamic resurgence in our society and from here throughout the Asian region and from there on to the other Muslim nations.

Please do not misunderstand my highlighting about the need for the university and college Muslim students to do their part towards helping our fellow Muslims learn and study about Allah the Almighty and Islam in the true sense of the word.

The Muslim students of Malaysian and Singapore universities and colleges can be a force to be reckoned with where their youthfulness, stamina and energy can be galvanized to spearhead the restoration of Iman and Aqeedah in the hearts and minds of the wayward youths and teenagers that you worry about?

Insya Allah, Islam will keep drawing those who are rational and sincere amongst the Children of Adam Alaihis Salam towards attaining the Peace, Salvation and Tranquility that true Faith in Almighty Allah, God Most Compassionate, Most Merciful, can bring us?

May Allah Azza Wa Jalla guide us all towards realizing our true potential to be the best that we can be as true Muslims, worthy of His Mercy and Blessings.

Learning about Allah, Our Lord Most Supreme!

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

May Peace, Mercy and Blessings of Allah be upon you.

In learning about Islam, the most important thing that we have to know is about Almighty Allah.

Allah, God Almighty has chosen to share information about Himself to us through His revelations to us Mankind through various scriptures culminating in His Final Testament to all Mankind in the Holy Al-Qur'an Al Kareem.

The Holy Qur'an's meanings and translations are available online in one of the websites here.

With the advent of scientific advancements in the field of technology and multimedia, we are now able to access and upload our own contributions to the repository of information into the internet and add our understandings and findings to the worldwide web of data and media in a way that was not possible before.

Let me start this subject by broaching on to the matter of learning about Allah.

Allah the Almighty.

As Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala is our Supreme Lord and Creator, knowledge about our God is the most important, most relevant information above all other sciences.

For us who are humans, it is preposterous that we would want to focus so much on things that are immaterial to our existence such as wasting our precious remaining life's here on Earth discussing about:

• who's going to be the Prime Minister after Abdullah Badawi?,
  
• who is going to be the next President of the United States of America, Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama?,
  
• who is going to be the next Akademi Fantasia winner?,
  
• who is going to be the next American Idol?, and so on and so forth, that we do not spend that much time as to learning about
  
• Who is our Creator?

I can go out into our society today with my video camera and shoot a series of interviews asking every Ahmad, Ah Seng or Samy as to, "Who is our Creator?" and get a thousand and one fumbling, mumbling, cock a doodle stories from them, without getting satisfactory answers from most of them.

This is the reality of 'Life in the Last Ages'.

This is the age where a thousand and four hundred over years has passed since the passing away of the Final and Greatest Messenger of Allah, God Almighty after culminating in the end of the sending of more than 124,000 prophets and messengers of Allah to the entire Mankind over the ages.

Today, there are many who do not actually know why they have been created here on Earth in the first place?

Why we are born as human beings and not as a cat or a bird or even as any other creature that one can think of?

There are many out there who devote and dedicate their life's to the study of insects, plants, animals, ocean dwelling creatures, the Earth, the stars, the Sun, Universe, etcetera but not many are attracted or inclined to learn about Allah?

There are lots of Malaysian Muslims out there today who are more interested in learning how to sing and go attend vocal classes but not many of them are bothered to spend some time in learning about their Creator?

Hundreds of thousands of university and college students pore over their textbooks and lecture notes day in day out in their quest to pass and earn a diploma, degree or masters in this and that but not that many are interested to stop for a while and ponder about the truth of their God Most Supreme, Most High?

Malaysians discuss, debate and argue over the most trivial of things here in the net and get all fired up about the fate of pigs in Selangor and Melaka but not that many are concerned about discovering the facts about Allah the Almighty Who has given them this life so to speak in the first place?

There are billions of egoistic, arrogant human beings out there today who so pompously dare to deny Allah as their God and Creator out of their extreme self adulating state of minds in thinking that 'There is No God'!

These blinkered minds beguile themselves into thinking that they just came into being, just like that!

Presto! Zam Zam Ala Kazam! Voila! Here we are! Yippee! Rock on baby! Yeah Dog! What's up bro?

Little do these clouded minds realize that nothing comes into being just like that!

It's unbecoming for those clueless ones amongst Mankind to waste their precious remaining lifetimes here on Earth pondering as to this and that but do not spend their time in learning or studying about Allah, True God Almighty!

I do not claim to be anything but confess to being just one of HIS Creations, who aspires to learn all that I can from the True Supreme Lord and Master who created us all through the opportunities of learning and studying about HIM who holds my soul in HIS HANDS!

Allah Exists!
To start discussing about Allah, first we have to believe that There is a God!

How can we even start to explore about the endless fields of such a discussion if we can't come to agree on the very basic of faith in a Supreme Being if His very existence is not established in the first place?

So, how do we get anyone to come agree with us that Allah Exists whereas he or she is saying that God is just not there?

God knows as to the countless number of folks denying Allah that I as a Caller to Islam have come across in my efforts in the field of Dakwah al Islamiyah since He decided to enlighten me with my realization that this is my forte, my chosen field of activity for as long as I am able to?

Let me try and open up our hearts and minds to agree that there are certain aspects of circumstances in each and every person's life that either make or break their convictions as to accepting or denying the very existence of Allah?

Before the coming of the 5 Noble Messengers of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala such as the Holy Prophets starting with Nuh Alaihis Salam @ Noah (peace be upon him), Ibrahim Alaihis Salam @ Abraham (peace be upon him), Musa Alaihis Salam @ Moses (peace be upon him), Isa Alaihis Salam @ Jesus the Messiah, Son of Mary (peace be upon him) and Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam @ Muhammad , Seal of the Prophets (peace be upon him), there were already many philosophers and scholars who affirmed the existence of the Supreme Lord using their intellect and observations in various ways.

Among such ways were 4 major reasonings affirming the existence of God.

1. Metaphysics - the philosophical study of being and knowing :

• hypostasis - (metaphysics) essential nature or underlying reality
• philosophy - the rational investigation of questions about existence and knowledge and ethics
• ontology - the metaphysical study of the nature of being and existence
• cosmology - the metaphysical study of the origin and nature of the universe
• entelechy - (Aristotle) the state of something that is fully realized; actuality as opposed to potentiality

According to the faculty of reasoning by way of thought, looking at the bountiful universe that encompasses all that is before us, the Earth, the Moon, the various planets in the Solar System, the Sun, millions or billions of stars up there in the skies above us and the multitudes of teeming life that is all around us, all these could not have come into being by themselves?

The scholars and philosophers of the past realized that mankind aren't capable of coming into being from out of the blue and that for all our capabilities of 'altering and manipulating' the essence of all that is before us, we can't ever come to possess the power of giving life or creating a living, breathing being on our own will save for what the Creator consents to?

We can't even create a single hair of our nostrils what more talk about creating anything at all?

Mankind ourselves are not perfect. We have our plus and minuses but it is all just a passing phase in our temporal life's.

From nothing, we are conceived in our mother's womb and develop with the Will of the Almighty into becoming an embryo, then morph into a foetus, mature into a baby and get delivered into this world as an infant, helpless and totally dependent on our parents or guardians for our sustenance, etcetera?

We acknowledge that creating even a half of a mosquito's wing is beyond our capabilities and that each and everything is a creation of Allah, God Most Powerful, Most Capable.

Even this world as we know it is constantly changing and evolving to the Will of our Lord and as a result of our carelessness in failing to live up to our responsibilities that God Almighty has entrusted upon us?

As this world is also one of His Creation, it's characteristics is temporary and is by His Will, not made to be perfect.

Only He is Most Perfect, free from flaws.

Creation is meant to be temporary pending His Decree that each and every phase of His Creation comes to live out it's purpose and return to it's ultimate destiny that is forewritten according to His Plans.

There are various schools of thought as to the Creation but nothing compares to what Allah the Almighty Himself has revealed to us in the Holy Qur'an.

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala in His Infinite Wisdom chose to create us Mankind as His Vicegerents here on Earth for a purpose.

His purpose in creating us and then giving us the Faculty of Reason is so that we will use our God given reason and intellect to learn and discover about Him and come to worship Him with our acquired knowledge.

He sent down His scriptures and 124,000 over prophets and the 5 Noble Messengers through the Passage of Time so that we learn of His Existence.

Let's take a look at Surah Al Insan Chapter 76 Verses 1 to 3. Holy Qur'an Al Kareem.

1. Has there not been over Man a long period of Time, when he was nothing - (not even) mentioned?

2. Verily We created Man from a drop of mingled sperm, in order to try him: So We gave him (the gifts), of Hearing and Sight.

3. Inna hadaynahu alssabeela imma shakiran wa-imma kafooran

3. We showed him the Way: whether he be grateful or ungrateful (rests on his will).

There are many who mistake Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala to be an uncaring God but fail to realize that Allah the Most Merciful leaves it to us to study and learn about Him and decide on our own free will as to whether we be amongst His grateful servants or choose to suffer the consequences of Denying Him as our Lord?

We owe our existence to God and it is clearly an act of treason of those who after coming to acquire knowledge about Him still choose to go worship or pay homage to another creation either out of their own will, ignorance or misunderstandings as to who is their True God Almighty?

Barisan Nasional dengan Sindrom SiLuncai-nya.

Tergerak hati ini untuk menulis tentang sindrom 'Si Luncai' yang ternyata sedang dihidapi oleh para pemimpin Kerajaan Gabungan Pakatan Barisan Nasional terutamanya dengan kenyataan kenyataan yang kurang berisi oleh mereka yang bergelar 'Dato Seri' dan 'Dato' itu dan ini tetapi isi kata kata mereka tidak ubah seperti cakap manusia kurang akal?

Kekalahan Barisan Nasional didalam pilihanraya umum ke 12 baru baru ini di 5 negeri di Semenanjung Malaysia ini bukan lah sesuatu yang dijangka oleh para pemuka Pakatan BN!

Bagaikan dipanah halilintar, terjelepuk YAB dan YB YB Barisan Nasional pabila sadar diri tidak lagi disokong dek warganegara dan warga negeri di Pulau Pinang Darul 'apa entah?, Kedah Darul Aman, Perak Darul Ridzuan, Selangor Darul Ehsan dan Kelantan Darul Naim yang masih tetap dinaungi PAS @ Parti Islam seMalaysia.

Di Wilayah Persekutuan, Pakatan Rakyat yang terdiri dari parti DAP-PKR dan PAS memenangi kerusi kerusi parlimen dengan angka yang membanggakan sekaligus menampar sedar BN bahawa zaman mereka bermaharajalela didalam Malaysia sudah mulai menghampiri titik noktah terakhir didalam era pemerintahan BN didalam negara tercinta ini.

Salah seorang dari pemuka BN yang terkenal dengan keceluparan mulutnya menidakkan hak ahli ahli sesama parti dengan nya untuk mendesak Abdullah Badawi meletakkan jawatan sebagai Perdana Menteri adalah Nazri Abdul Aziz.

Cara Nazri bercakap seolah ahli ahli UMNO yang membantah penerusan Abdullah Badawi menerajui pemerintahan negara sebagai mereka yang bodoh ternyata teramat biadap dan boleh dikatakan berbau 'kurang ajar' terhadap ahli ahli UMNO tersebut!

Beginikah cara Nazri mencaci ahli ahli UMNO dan juga para menteri UMNO yang lain bilamana mereka sedar akan keperluan Abdullah Badawi meninggalkan pucuk pimpinan BN yang kini bagaikan 'retak menanti belah' bila bila masa sahaja?

Melayu sebegini memang ramai sekali didalam BN. Mereka angkuh walau baru saja diberikan mandat untuk menjadi pemimpin sekali lagi?

Apakah masyarakat kita ini tidak serik serik dengan kesombongan makhluk makhluk berhati legam sebegini dan tidak sadar akan bahaya membiarkan 'sikaduk naik junjung' lagi?

Entahlah tuan tuan dan puan puan sekelian.

Didalam zaman manusia berupaya meneroka bumi dan angkasa, masih terdapat ramai yang buta terhadap kezaliman BN, pekak terhadap kata nesta caci maki para menteri sombong dan bongkak seperti Nazri dan Ali Rustam serta ramai lagi yang turut berpenyakit cirit mulut?

Ali Rustam didalam blognya bersikap kebudak budakan bilamana menulis mengata begitu begini terhadap Kerajaan Selangor Pakatan Rakyat tetapi lupa bahawa dibumi Melaka pimpinan kerajaan negeri dibawah dirinya sendiri masih ada banyak perkara yang masih perlu dibetulkan?

Khir Toyo yang sudah hilang kedudukan sebagai Menteri Besar Kerajaan BN Selangor yang lalu, kelihatan sebagai seorang yang mahu menerima keadaan dan tampil menyatakan bahawa BN perlu bermuhasabah diri namun Khir Toyo sendiri telah bertindak menghapuskan bukti bukti kesalahan laku pentadbirannya bila kalah didalam pilihanraya ke 12 bulan lepas dengan menghancurkan beratus ratus fail dan dokumen rasmi kerajaan sebelum ini?

BN tidak akan bertahan lama lagi sebab Perdana Menteri Abdullah Badawi terbukti gagal mencari Al Ghazali sebaliknya bersekongkol dengan Patrick 'Badawi'.

Bukan sekadar tidak mencari juta tetapi sebaliknya sibuk menimbun berbillion 'harta' dan berdamping dengan wanita wanita.

Najib Tun Razak pula tercemar dengan kes pembunuhan model Mongolia 'Altantuuya'.

Muhyiddin seperti biasa nyata tidak berkarisma.

Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah terbukti tidak mahu mengaku kalah masih mengimpikan kerusi terunggul di Putrajaya.

Pendekata, masih adakah harapan untuk BN kembali bertakhta dihati rakyat Malaysia?

Bagi pendapat saya, ianya bagaikan 'retak kayu boleh disimpan; retak piring susah hilangnya'.

Bila pucuk sudah melupakan akar, maka tunggu sajalah ianya tersungkur menyembah bumi.

Bagaikan helang menyusur angin; lambat laun akan kebumi jua. Tak gitu tuan puan?

Islam Hadhari among the main reasons for the BN's fall.

When Mahathir Mohamad handed over power to Abdullah Badawi, many let out a sigh of relief that finally Malaysia was going to be free from his dictatorship and iron fist policies.

Many thought that the worst was over and Malaysians could now look forward to a better future for all, regardless of one's creed or color?

Abdullah Badawi was known to be not that corrupt back then and he even got the nickname of 'Mr.Clean' compared to the rest of Mahathir's cabinet.

So, the passing of the political baton took place and as expected 'Mr.Clean' announced this and that and promised to not be one who looks for millions?

As it came to be, it was not millions that the PM was looking for but rather billions.

Abdullah Badawi then committed the major 'faux pas' by listening to his Islamic Affairs 'Advisor' in the form of Abdul Hamid Othman and came up with his concept of 'Islam Hadhari'.

Now for those Muslims who know the forbidding of introducing anything new in the form of thought or concept such as what these smart alecs tried to do with their promoting of an official doctrine that adds the term of 'Hadhari' to the faith and practices of Islam, it falls to an act of 'bida'ah al lawwamah' @ accursed innovations.

To me as a Muslim who tries my best to stick to what Allah the Almighty and His Final Messenger the Holy Prophet to all Mankind, Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam, have passed on to us as the True Faith of Al-Islam, this innovative concept of Islam Hadhari is a clear attempt to do one better than the Holy Prophet as if the Greatest Messenger of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala did not complete his mission and we need these 'Johnny come lately's ' in the form of Abdullah Badawi, Hamid Othman and Dr.Mashitah to come teach the Muslims a new form of practicing Islam and ridicule Allah's Sharia laws and the Hudud by their innovative 'approaches'?

From that moment on, I distanced myself from this 'Islam Hadhari' thingy and vowed to not have anything to do with the BN.

The matter is compounded when the BN under Abdullah Badawi continued to stifle the Muslims by introducing many 'Islam Hadhari Villages' by building huge complexes in Terengganu and also holding such events in other states with a carnival like atmosphere that did nothing for the advancements of the Muslims and was more of a money wasting gambit on the part of Abdullah Badawi and his cronies.

Take a look at the way Abdullah Badawi allowed his crony Patrick Lim to lord it over many of the projects in Terengganu especially the wasteful Monsoon Cup programs which were more of a camouflage to divert the billions from the Petronas oil royalty money that was due to the State Government of Terengganu but rather into their own coffers!

If not for the objections from concerned and alert Penangites especially the exclusive reporting by esteemed journalist blogger Anil Netto, the humongous and stark ugly tombstones like high rise apartments which were part of the PGCC multi billion ringgits projects under the same Patrick 'Badawi' would have come into being?

Thank God for the toppling over of the Gerakan BN Government in Penang which has seen the Pakatan Rakyat coalition take over power after being voted in by the Penangites saving the island from falling prey to the designs of Patrick 'Badawi' and his hosts residing at Seri Perdana, Putrajaya.

For all the brouhaha that Abdullah Badawi and his 'Islamic advisers' have come up with the half baked concept of Islam Hadhari, the only thing that has come out of this innovative agenda of the BN is that they have successfully alienated themselves from the main body of alert and knowledgeable Muslims both here in Malaysia and elsewhere.

The longer Abdullah Badawi remains in office and continues to attempt pushing his 'Islam Hadhari' concept to the Muslims of Malaysia, the greater contempt will he face from the Ummah and eventually find himself and the BN on the way out in the next GE.

Butterworth Bus Terminal Blues!

Everytime I arrive at the Butterworth Bus Terminal, I cringe with anticipating the express bus that I am in toppling over as it's tyres descend into the many potholes reminiscent of the bomb blasted airport runway craters of Beirut.




















































Guess Koh Tsu Koon was just too busy trying to hold on to his Chief Ministership to have bothered to do anything about the crater filled bus terminal at Butterworth?

I sure hope that Lim Guan Eng, our new Penang Chief Minister will please order the MPSP to get those craters drained and have cement poured in and tarred over pending the completion of the new Express Bus Terminal there.

No point in allowing those new Rapid Penang air conditioned buses getting their tyres damaged and their alignment go bonkers after dropping in to those craters at the Butterworth bus terminal!

If that wasn't depressing enough, I was disturbed to see for myself an elderly Indian lady scavenging for aluminum cans from the garbage bins which I am sure she was collecting to sell at the recycling centres for a few ringgits!



































I also chanced upon an elderly Chinese man who looked like a mental patient with a handicap on crutches plodding his way across the scorching hot terminal with all kinds of plastic bags tied to his crutches! :(









































It's sickening to see all these sad situations still prevailing in our society whose governments are all so into those record breaking stunts that burn off millions of precious ringgits just so we can add our nation's name into the Guinness Book of Records or our own apple polishing record book of sorts?

What good did that blasting into space of that doctor cum part time model into orbit and eventually doing his thingamajig at the International Space Station do for Malaysians?

Many Malaysians are suffering here on Earth and we have the BN clowns at Putrajaya burning money like what people do during the Hungry Ghosts Festival?

Only difference is that these Putrajaya clowns burn real money!

There's no point in having a ministry that purports to be in charge of Social Welfare when the only welfare they are concerned about is theirs?

Poor desperate people like that Indian lady and the elderly mental patient need real serious help from the ones appointed into power?

The conditions for bus passengers at the Butterworth Bus Terminal is enough to drive people nuts and the hot, scorching sun plus the dirty, trash filled areas are a real nightmare that gives me the shivers everytime I have to be there?


















There was this group of guys with a loudhailer adding to the din of the terminal with their staccato of 'Alor Star! Alor Star! Alor Star! Alor Star! Alor Star! Alor Star!' going off like a scratched vinyl record, irritating those of us who had to suffer the heat, the stench, the dirt and grime that is so prevalent there in that scorching hot stuffy bus terminal that we can be said to be among the worst 3rd world countries to have such a depressing bus terminal in what is supposed to be one of the most developed states in Malaysia?


















A heartfelt advice to the new Pakatan Rakyat State Government of Penang!

Please go and take a look at the depressing conditions prevalent at the Butterworth Bus Terminal and do something about it!

Your chances at retaining political power in the next GE will be assured if you can take care of such things that the BN ignored all those 50 over years!

Do not forget the grassroot Malaysians who don't have the luxury of air conditioned vehicles to transport them here and there in ease as government officials enjoy!

The bus terminal urgently needs some restorative work done in order to make things better for the bus drivers and passengers.

I also hope that the law enforcement officers can go arrest those bus ticket touts who are a real menace and harass almost each and every bus passenger who arrives at the terminal from either the ferry or the express and local buses.

Such annoying folks ought not be left to disturb the people. It really seems like no law enforcement agencies really care about these daily lawbreakers who seem to be at large as they please without a care about government action?

Don't tell me that the relevant law enforcers are on the take?

I didn't see even a single MPSP 'Penguatkuasa' there! Not even one! Where the hell were they?

No wonder the bus ticket touts are acting like they own the freaking bus terminal and roaming all over the place at will?

Really frustrating to see Butterworth still remain as a depressing area with all these conditions turning people feeling really blue after all these years!

Malaysia is going through a purging of taboos of sorts.

Whew! There's just a whole lot of things happening in Malaysia right now!

I see UMNO metamorphizing into a party that is seeing a groundswell of opposition towards its embattled President and a ball less Deputy President who dares not rock the boat at this crucial times for fear of getting 'Anwar'ed' just as pressure is building up all around the beleaguered PM Abdullah Badawi to resign and spare everyone further heartaches?

I am also reading about Ong Ka Ting being accused of trying to build a family dynasty in the MCA after the party he leads get whupped in the recently concluded 12th Malaysian GE on 8th of March, 2008.

The MCA is at an all time low when it comes to support from the Malaysian Chinese. All those years of kowtowing to UMNO has come home to roost in the form of party leaders losing in the GE at a scale that is unprecedented!

As wished for, Malaysians got to see the Don of the Malaysian Indian Congress sent packing in the Sg Siput Constituency in the 12th GE and ended the Works Ministryship monopoly of the notorious bad ass Samy Vellu who terrorized the MIC all these years with his take no prisoners iron fist dictatorship over one of the BN's major coalition partners.

The fumbling Gerakan leadership in Penang fell down so viciously that there is not a slim chance of them ever making a comeback in my home island.

Koh Tsu Koon who allowed my home island to go into the economic doldrums had to say goodbye after doing a lousy job as far as taking care of Penang?

I sure hope that Lim Guan Eng, our new Penang Chief Minister will be able to bring Penang back to being the true 'Pearl of the Orient'.

Ecological preservation, rehabilitation of the East Jelutong foreshore and proper restoration of the island's greenery must be amongst the top priorities in his agenda.

The Bayan Lepas Free Trade Zone needs looking into and whatever problems that are causing factories there to close and move over to China, Vietnam or Thailand ought to be addressed and nipped in the bud or provisions made to ensure that one of our country's major industrial and electronics manufacturing zones be kept productive and vibrant, attracting FDI's back to our nation.

Moving on over to the new DAP-PKR-PAS state governments.

I see a breaking of taboo of sorts when I see Lim Kit Siang and Tuan Guru Datuk Seri Haji Abdul Hadi Awang make peace between the two opposition parties and forge a new strong bond of achieving common objectives in breaking the monopoly of the BN with the arbitration of the PKR.

Now, the interesting part is seeing former kingpins of the BN start making statements lambasting UMNO's arrogance and apparent haughtiness over the rest of the BN coalition partners.

The infamous apple polishers in the form of Samy Vellu and Lim Keng Yaik wasted no time in making their entrenched feelings towards UMNO's highhandedness being a major cause why the BN lost so many of their leaders in the general elections and why Malaysians taught them a very swift decisive lesson towards eating humble pie?

Do I see Abdullah Badawi capitulating after all the obvious proof of his being the most unpopular BN Prime Minister and UMNO President after all these years?

Erm..not at the present moment or till the UMNO General Assembly later at the end of this year.

The unfortunate thing is that Najib Tun Razak, is being slated to take over from Pak Lalalalala?

Malaysia will be in deeper shit if that were to happen?

To add to the average Malaysian's worries is the clearly lopsided police witch hunting of the Pakatan Rakyat's leadership over the April 14th Sultan Sulaiman Club public gathering to celebrate Anwar Ibrahim's freedom to actively participate in the nation's political movements with the ending of his 5 year ban from political activity enforced on him as a condition of his release from prison.

Isn't it obvious that the police do not take any action on the illegal UMNO protests at Kuala Terengganu and Penang, but a peaceful gathering at the Kelab Sultan Sulaiman is seeing them dedicate so much time and manpower to go sniff out any errors from the butts of the PKR leaders?

Whatever it is, Malaysia is clearly going through a purging of sorts.

I for one wish that the general Malaysian public will not forget the years and years of the BN bullshit that we had to endure and take our time to process and evaluate each and every piece of news or views that comes our way?

It's cyber warfare at it's best my fellow Malaysians.

PDRM needs to be apolitical and magnanimous

I refer to the ongoing obviously lopsided police action against the Parti Keadilan Rakyat leadership in their witch hunt of those leaders for the April 14th gathering at the Kelab Sultan Sulaiman field in conjunction with the ending of the political activity ban on Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on that historic day.

First and foremost, I would like to express my heartiest congratulations to the Royal Malaysian Police for not harming the thousands of Malaysians who gathered to celebrate the momentous event with Anwar Ibrahim and other party leaders.

"Ribuan Terima kasih PDRM!"

Having said that, I would like to ask that the PDRM just close the file on the event and prove to Malaysians that the PDRM is apolitical and magnanimous in the true sense of the word and not those who pick and choose as to whom to prosecute and to whom to close one eye as they have done as far as the recent illegal UMNO protests at Kuala Terengganu and Komtar, Penang ?

If the PDRM are really fair, then they should just be thankful that the April 14th gathering went peacefully and everyone returned home happy?

What's the point of creating a problem when there is none?

Just prove to the nation that the PDRM are truly professional and just towards all Malaysians, no matter who or what they are?

I wish that all the past police injustice and obvious slant towards just the ruling party's interests will be a thing of the past and the PDRM will prove themselves as being just towards everyone.

Will my wish come true? Wallahu 'alam bissawab!

Shah Kirit matter - Danger of inciting videos and wild gossips!

I came across this video with the alarming title of '3 indian wack by hundreds of malays at tmn medan on 11/04/08' posted by murthitube where the link to this video on You Tube was found in the chatbox of Raajarox.com.














I was checking out Brother Raaja's site to see what's the latest news and views with regard to a case where Malaysian Hindus are taking offense at what is called as insulting views about Hinduism spoken by an IIS officer @ Brother Shah Kirit Kokulal Govindji and which was uploaded to You Tube by someone who attended the talks.

Curious to see for myself what You Tuber 'murthitube' said that he saw 'hundreds of Malays whacking 3 Indians at Taman Medan, the infamous area which was a flashpoint of Hindu-Malay clashes several years back, I watched the clip in totality only to see that it was all a pure fabrication on 'murthitube's part! :(

This is not something good to do Brother Murthi.














I understand that Brother Shah Kirit may have unwittingly offended Malaysian Indian Hindus by his talks but he has already apologized for his errors in his blog.

The Islamic Information Service has already published a press statement on the matter and asked for all parties concerned to refrain from further aggravating the matter by making inflammatory statements and comments about the matter.

I spoke to him by phone day before yesterday where he regrets this matter being blown out of proportion and wishes to make it clear that he is really sorry about the whole matter.

I will meet up with him soon to record his apology on video for all Malaysians to view and understand that he really regrets the manner by which he is being demonised for something which he did without malice on his part but just sharing what he knew about Hinduism.

Brother Murthi's action in uploading such a video and titling it with such an alarming manner only serves to spark off unnecessary public fears and might escalate into something we all do not want to see take place in our beloved nation.

I sincerely wish that such unfounded postings will no longer be carried out.

I hope fellow Malaysians from the Hindu faith will forgive Brother Shah and wait for his apology on video soon. Thank you.

The Pro BN Malaysian Police Farce and Pakatan Rakyat's 'Tidak Apa'thy!

Err..did I mistype Force there?

Not really..because that's what I deem the fellas in blue today for demonstrating so bloody clearly that they do practice double standards to a degree that would shame even the vilest 3rd world dictators out there with their obvious siding to the currently on the brink Be End sorry excuse of a government that is still trying their very best to stifle the people's favoring of the Pakatan Rakyat coalition!

Why do I say so?

Well, what do we call the muzzled manner by which the FRU and Police Farce stood by as the Malays and Mamaks of Penang illegally protested against Lim Guan Eng's statement that he will not be sticking to the BN's obviously apartheid policy of implementing the NEP?

Those buggers who took to the streets and behaved as gangsters especially that son of a female whatever who was the hired brainless muscle besides the UMNO Deputy Chief were not molested even a tiny bloody bit by the Police Farce of Penang!

So I am not surprised to read abt the announcement by the Malaysian Police Farce about tonight's gathering by Anwar's supporters to celebrate his freedom to actively participate in the nation's politics as AN ILLEGAL GATHERING and threatens to use FORCE to stop such a celebration!

Stern action will be taken against those who attend an illegal gathering tonight at Kampung Baru in support of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

City police chief Deputy Comm Muhammad Sabtu Osman said police would not hesitate to exercise whatever measures required, to ensure peace and order.

"Through the Internet, Anwar’s supporters have been urged to go to Padang Sultan Sulaiman near Sultan Sulaiman Club at 8pm to show support.

"We have not issued a permit for the gathering and neither was a permit requested, so I advise all those planning a gathering not to do so as they will be severely dealt with,” DCP Muhammad Sabtu said.

He was speaking after attending a gotong-royong event held at the Darul Falah Orphanage in conjunction with the 201st Police Day celebrations in Bukit Persekutuan here yesterday.

Others who attended the event were new city deputy city police chief Senior Asst Comm (I) Datuk Abu Samah Mat and senior officers from the city police headquarters.

DCP Muhammad Sabtu said police received a letter from the Selangor Mentri Besar’s office informing them that a dinner would be held at the club attended by Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim and PKR vice-president Mohamed Azmin Ali.

“We learnt that the Selangor MB and Mohamed Azmin will be giving speeches at the dinner, which Anwar and his wife Datin Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, who is PKR president, will be also attending.

“We have spoken to the organising committee of the dinner and advised them to abide by the law.

“We will cordon off the area and will deploy Federal Reserve Unit personnel there if necessary,” he said.

Anwar, who is PKR advisor, was sentenced to jail by the High Court on April 14, 1999.

If that is the case , then why the bloody hell have the Pakatan Rakyat leadership not applied for a permit to hold such a gathering in the first place?

Does Anwar Ibrahim expect the Malaysians who have supported and voted for him to go there risking their lifes just so that he can be chaired and carried by bloodied and bruised supporters?

Where is the Pakatan Rakyat leadership's care and concern for the safety of their supporters?

Do not be so bloody stupid so as to keep on holding gatherings without clearing the legal aspects of any public gatherings of such kinds!

It is these kinds of 'Tidak Apa'thy that makes people like me who support the Pakatan Rakyat's political awakening start to think as to why the hell should we even bother?

Muslims ought to stay away from these major sins.

A Muslim should steer clear of all sins, major and minor ones. A faithful Muslim takes care of every utterance or deed, avoiding anything that makes him subject to the punishment of Allah and His Wrath.

The major sins are those acts which have been forbidden by Allah in the Qur'an and by His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) in the Sunnah, and which have been made clear as forbidden by the actions of the first righteous generation of Muslims, the Companions of the Prophet. Allah Almighty says,

(If you avoid the major (part) of what you have been forbidden (to do), We will cancel out for you your (other) evil deeds and will admit you (to Paradise) with a noble entry) (An-Nisaa' 4:31)

In this verse, Allah Almighty has guaranteed the Garden of Paradise to those who avoid the major sins. And Allah Almighty also says,

(Those who avoid the greatest of sins and indecencies, and forgive when they are angry) (Ash-Shura 42: 37)

and (Those who avoid the greatest sins and indecencies, except for oversights, (will find that) surely your Lord is ample in forgiveness) (An-Najm 53: 32)

Allah's Messenger was also reported to have said,

"The five (daily) Prayers, Friday to Friday and Ramadan to Ramadan, make atonement for what has happened since the previous one, as long as major sins have been avoided." (Authenticated by Al-Albani)

It is therefore very important to determine exactly what the greatest vices, technically called "the major sins" (kaba'ir), are in order that Muslims should avoid them.

There is some difference of opinion among scholars in this regard. Some say these major sins are seven, and in support of their position they quote the hadith:

Avoid the seven major sins:

1. associating anything with Allah,
   
2. indulging in black magic and sorcery,
   
3. killing one whom Allah has declared inviolate without a just cause,
   
4. consuming the property of an orphan,
   
5. devouring riba (interest),
   
6. turning back in cowardliness when the Muslim army advances, and
   
7. slandering chaste women who are believers but indiscreet." (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
   

`Abdullah ibn `Abbas said: "Seventy is closer to their number than seven," and indeed that is correct. The above hadith does not limit the major sins to those mentioned in it.

Rather, it points to the type of sins which fall into the category of major.

These include those crimes which call for a prescribed punishment (hadd), such as theft, fornication or adultery, and murder; those prohibited acts for which a warning of a severe punishment in the Hereafter is given in the Qur'an or the Sunnah; and also those deeds which are cursed by our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

These are all major sins.

Of course, there is a gradation among them, since some are more serious than others.

We see that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has included shirk (associating someone or something with Allah) among them, and from the text of the Qur'an we know that a person who commits shirk will not be forgiven and will remain in Hell forever.

Allah Most High says:

(Surely, Allah does not forgive associating anything with Him, and He forgives whatever is other than that to whomever He wills) (An-Nisaa' 4: 48)

Hence, the major sins are:

1. Associating anything with Allah (Includes believing in charms/ amulets/ talismans, etc) :

By that, it is understood that any act of thinking that any other being, real or imagined has the power to create or affect anything regarding our beings.

I can understand if Kaffirs do that for that's why they are Kaffirs in the first place.

The subject is compounded when those who claim to be Muslims @ non practicing ones at that, do so through their form of speech or thought expressed either in their actions or through their writings in any form.

There are also some Muslims who do acts of associating things or objects with Allah by way of wearing talismans, charms or amulets thinking that such things have the 'power' to do them good or harm.

We find so many examples of such acts of committing shirik to Allah in places such as restaurants or business offices where they place framed up 'ayats' or ' pendindings' on their walls or entrances.

I have seen both Malays and Indian Muslims do these at their restaurants, offices and even some residences.

I have tried to advice those whom I get to engage with in conversations and most simply try to change the subject and still remain adamant in having those framed 'talismans' be left alone ALTHOUGH they know and admit that it is haram.

I have even tried to get them to take off or cut the strings attached to their wrists but as usual, they will give all sorts of cock and bull excuses saying that they will do so later? Hehehehehe!

They don't give a shit about the halal or the haram aspect of such acts of shirik or khurafat.

To them, at the end of the day, the amount in the till is all that is important and they couldn't care less even if it was the Nation's Mufti who comes and advices them against such things!

If they could 'lubricate' the ulamaks into giving them a blanket approval to do such things, they wouldn't bat an eyelid over paying for such exemptions!

Talk about the foolhardiness of people nowadays who think that anything and everything can be 'slow talked' and settled as they wish?

Hehehehehe....you know the thinking that money buys you anything?

Same goes for anyone who thinks that there is another power besides Allah who can make their life good or bad?

Nothing of the sort! Life is what we make it out to be.

Doesn't mean that we can just do anything as we please in order to get what we want or need?

There are certain rules and regulations that we need to take into consideration.

2. Murder

3. Practicing magic

4. Abandoning solat (ritual Prayer)

5. Not paying zakat

6. Not fasting during the month of Ramadan without a valid excuse

7. Not performing Hajj, while being able to do so

8. Showing disrespect to one's parents

9. Severing relations with blood relatives

10. Committing adultery

11. Committing sodomy

12. Dealing in riba (interest)

13. Wrongfully consuming the property of an orphan

14. Lying about Allah or His Messenger

15. Running away from the battlefield

16. Deceiving the people that one rules and being unjust to them

17. Being proud and arrogant

18. Bearing false witness

19. Drinking alcohol

20. Gambling

21. Falsely accusing chaste women (i.e. of committing fornication or adultery)

22. Stealing from the spoils of war

23. Stealing

24. Committing highway robbery

25. Making false oath

26. Committing oppression

27. Earning ill-gotten gain.

28. Consuming what is unlawful.

29. Committing suicide

30. Lying frequently

31. Judging unjustly

32. Giving and accepting a bribe

33. Imitating the opposite sex (in dress, behavior, and the like)

34. Allowing one’s wife, daughters, etc. to display their beauty to men or conduct illicit sexual relations

35. Marrying a divorced woman in order to make her lawful for her ex-husband to remarry her after he irrevocably divorced her

36. Not protecting oneself or one's clothes from being contaminated with urine or excrement.

37. Showing off

38. Learning knowledge of the religion for the sake of this world and withholding that knowledge (i.e., not teaching people)

39. Betraying a trust

40. Recounting favors

41. Denying Allah's Decree

42. Listening to people's private conversations

43. Carrying gossip

44. Swearing

45. Breaking contracts

46. Believing in fortune-tellers

47. Behaving badly toward ones husband

48. Making statues

49. Lamenting, wailing, tearing the clothing, and doing other things of this sort when an affliction falls

50. Treating others wrongfully

51. Treating one's wife, servant, the weak, and animals badly

52. Offending one's neighbor

53. Offending and abusing Muslims

54. Offending people and having an arrogant attitude toward them

55. Trailing one's garment in pride

56. Wearing silk and gold (for men only)

57. Slaughtering an animal that has been dedicated to anyone other than Allah

58. To knowingly ascribe one's paternity to a man other than one's biological father

59. Arguing and disputing violently

60. Withholding excess water

61. Giving short weight or measure

62. Feeling secure from Allah's Plan

63. Offending pious people

64. Not praying in congregation but praying alone without an excuse

65. Persistently missing Friday Prayer without any excuse

66. Usurping the rights of the heir through bequests (to others)

67. Deceiving and plotting evil

68. Spying for the enemy of the Muslims against Muslim's interest

69. Cursing or insulting any of the Companions of the Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam.

I will update the other details of sinful things that Muslims ought to avoid and advice others from when time permits me to do so.

Apostasy from Islam and the Prophet's decree against it.

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

Peace be to you O Children of Adam (AS).

I would like to touch on a subject that is very much on almost everyone's mind lately what more with the recent controversial cases involving apostates and said to be apostates here in Malaysia?

The subject of Apostasy is quite often the hottest subject nowadays especially when it is being debated and discussed by persons who have nothing to do with it in the first place?

Yes, the ones making a whole lot of noise about it are not the apostates themselves but their 'pro bono unrequited advocates and solicitors' from amongst the Kaffirs who take it upon themselves to speak up and champion the causes of those who are not that sure about their status of their faith or disbelief in Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala?

You can't simply generalize the apostates into one major group or common grounds.

Frankly speaking I am not that bothered about a few clueless folks who just love to draw attention to themselves and seek to bask in the limelight that the Christians and others in the MCCBCHST coalition so love to shine upon them?

Many ask me about whether the Holy Qur'an has any specific verses that deal with the subject of apostasy and as to whether Islam demands that apostates be put to death if they fail to repent?

I would like to refer to the Hadith below where:

Abū Hurairah reported that he heard the Messenger of Allāh, peace and blessings of Allāh be on him, say:

"He who obeys me obeys Allāh, and he who disobeys me disobeys Allāh and he who obeys the amīr obeys me, and he who disobeys the amīr disobeys me; and the Imām is an armour for protection--the battle is fought for his defence and through him protection is sought.

So if he commands the doing of duty to Allāh and does justice, he has a reward for it; and if he does otherwise,' he shall suffer the evil consequences of it."

Now do people who argue for the rights of the apostates saying that there is no verse in the Qur'an which calls for the death penalty for those who deny Allah realize that in Islam, we Muslims are commanded by Allah the Almighty to obey Him and also the Holy Prophet as far as the matters concerning the faith is being questioned?

There are lots of write ups with regard to the subject of apostasy and we can go through all such articles from daybreak till night and still not come to any agreement as far as discussing the various points and perspectives that different scholars of Islam and theology will come up with?

At the end of the day, we have to look at things the way Rasul Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam has said of the 3 cases where the life of a Muslim can be taken from him or her?

The best way to deal with apostates is to deal with them using hikmah @ wisdom and good sincere counseling?

With the proper approach and explaining, apostasy will soon be a thing of the past. Insya Allah.

Yes, there are certain cases and situations where some individuals are forced to convert to Islam due to unavoidable circumstances such as young children who are under the age of 18, who are converted into becoming Muslims by their Non Muslim parents who embrace Islam out of their own convictions and exercise their parental rights to bring their offspring together with them into Islam.

I have had a request emailed to me by a Christian speaking on behalf of her 'Chinese Muslim' lady friend who was 8 years old when she was forcibly converted into becoming Muslim by her Chinese parents.

The 8 year old Chinese girl is now a 30+ grown up lady who according to her Christian friend has never practiced any of the Islamic teachings all her life, has been praying to the deities in the temple following her Chinese grandparents and living in Ipoh, Perak.

According to the Christian, her 'Chinese Muslim' friend also eats pork and indulges in all things forbidden in Islam.

She now wants to marry her Chinese boyfriend and wants a way out of being known as a Muslim for she has never come to accept or believe in Islamic teachings as her Chinese Muslim parents had failed to teach and nurture her into becoming a believing Muslim all these years?

Reminds me of the Revathi Masoosai case only thing is that the subject now is a Chinese?

Can we afford to be blinkered in our views and remain deaf, dumb and blind to the contributing circumstances where this person who was 8 years old when she was unwillingly turned into a Muslim at the behest of her parents who obviously had failed in turn to raise her as a Muslim during her formative years?

So, how do we deal with this case?

Can belief be forced upon someone who was a born Non Muslim child aged 8, neglected as far as the obligatory education of her with the principles of Iman and Islam and also the basics of Islamic practice that is known as the 'Fardhu Ain' all those years and expect her to remain as a hypocrite under the label of Islam?

What do the learned ones in Islamic Authority have to say about this case?

I respectfully ask that my Non Muslims readers and fellow Malaysians refrain from commenting on this case as I want to hear from my fellow Muslims especially those who are the scholars and in authority to speak about such a situation?

Being a true Muslim - What it asks of us?

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
Peace be upon you (O Mukmins) with the Mercy of Allah and His Blessings.

Bismillahirrahmannirrahim.
In the Name of Allah, Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.

I am spurred to write about this subject as there are many out there who just fail to understand the bedrock of faith in Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala?

The ignorance of many who think of themselves as being 'Muslims' stems from their failure to realize that the very basic pillar of faith in Islam is one's true and firm faith in Allah!

A true Muslim must have unshakable faith in Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and in the Prophethood of Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam.

This is the foundation of Iman @ Faith.

Once one comes to believe with total conviction as to the reality of there being no other God but Allah, Ar Rahman, Ar Rahim, then there should be no room for any doubts or considerations of there being any other deity or entity that can merit even an iota of consideration of worship or in fear of?

The very first Rukun of Iman @ Pillars of Faith is the faith or belief in Allah ( al-Imaanu Billah) which is the jugular vein of Iman @ Faith, source of all beliefs in Islam.

When the belief in Allah is weak, the rest of one's Aqeedah @ Bedrock of Faith is weakened consecutively.

What makes us mankind different from the rest of Almighty Allah's Creations?

The ability to process information that we perceive through our gifts of sensory and perception that the Almighty has bestowed upon us?

The very basic exception that we have over all other forms of Creations of Allah Azza Wa Jalla is our given Faculty of Thought or Reasoning?

We have the ability given by Allah to ponder upon and think about all that is before us?

We have been given eyesight to look at and see for ourselves the awesome and to the finest detail or specific engineering that goes into each and every creation of Allah before us.

We are living in what we know as to be the Last Ages.

Mankind today have come to stage where many scientific advancements as a result of centuries and centuries of study and research by those who are inclined towards learning from all revealed sources of information that has been relayed to us and our forefathers by the 124,000 prophets and messengers of Almighty Allah through Time ending with the Greatest and Final Messenger of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala with the Prophethood of Khatamun Nabiyyi, Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam, the Mercy of Allah for all Creation, a thousand four hundred over years ago!

Mankind today are yet discovering many astonishing aspects of Life amongst us here in this planet that we come to know as Earth and the gazillion other things that are yet to be discovered by us in here and in the universe out there.

Mankind has the ability to think and has the will to utilize thought and considerations to explore and discover the truth of all that is before us?

Just take planet Earth for example.























This planet with all of its contents is just a living globe with the following details:

All these data has been the culmination of what our scientists have come to learn about and discover through utilizing the Faculty of Thought and Human Intellect given by Allah our Lord and Creator.

To those who deny Allah and say that all that is before us is just a process of evolution are the ones who are deaf, dumb and blind towards the reality that things don't just simply come into being on their own?

They themselves were but a creation of Allah when they were conceived by their parents as a result of the process of reproduction of the humankind.

There are many surahs in the Holy Qur'an which details the creation of Mankind for us to study and realize the facts of our being?

Amongst them are :

101. BadeeAAu alssamawati waal-ardi anna yakoonu lahu waladun walam takun lahu sahibatun wakhalaqa kulla shay-in wahuwa bikulli shay-in AAaleemun

101. To Him is due the primal origin of the heavens and the earth: How can He have a son when He hath no consort? He created all things, and He hath full knowledge of all things.

The Holy Qur'an was revealed to Mankind through Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam a thousand four hundred over years ago when Mankind were still clueless about the origins of themselves, what more of the universe when their skills in knowledge about astrophysics was still in it's primitive stages!

The reality of Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam being an 'Unlettered Prophet' @ an 'Ummi' clearly refutes the allegations that he Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam wrote the Holy Qur'an which to this day continues to amaze scientists and researchers as to the detailed accuracy of what the Almighty Allah has revealed to us about matters that none would have come to know before the revelations of the Holy Qur'an to all Mankind through His Final Messenger, Muhammad, the Seal of Allah's 124,000 prophets and noble messengers through the ages.

Faith in Allah requires us who are the Children of Adam Alaihis Salam to exercise our faculties of thought and reasoning to know that all that is here before us and in the hidden realms of the universe in both the physical, metaphysical and hidden spiritual world that we have yet to explore or come to know about?

Just pluck a hair out of us, put it on the slide of a microscope and zoom in to it's structure. What do we see?

Are those who Deny Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala capable of creating even one single living cell as above?

Let's not even start to ask of them to even start exploring their own self's?

Mission impossible of any one being creating anything out of nothing save for Allah the Almighty, our Supreme Lord, Master of everything and Creator!

I can keep going on and on to the last second of my life here as amongst His Creation to try and write about the infinite proofs of all that is nothing but sheer evidence of the Almighty's Magnificence as our true God Almighty but will only die out of exhaustion attempting so?

Iman towards Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala is not something to be joked about or ridiculed by those ingrates amongst Mankind who fail to see the Reality of Ar Rahman.






















Life in the known Universe as we come to learn of it is so spectacular and amazing that it astounds me to this very moment as I try my best to absorb the multitudes of information that is becoming available to us Mankind by the second from every part and corner of this world!

All these is simply a matter of us mankind getting to discover many, many things created by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.

Informative television channels such as Discovery and National Geographic are wonderful channels of amazing discoveries that continue to make me marvel at the Greatness of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala who in His Infinite Wisdom and Supremacy has created the world that we know and coming to learn and discover by each and every passing second of our remaining life's?

















The internet here also has come to contain unlimited sources of accumulated and stored data that enables us to tap into and discover unfathomable information for those of us who want to add and improve our knowledge about anything?

When human beings succeed in moving on to the stage of wanting to learn about themselves and all that is before them, then the heart is awakened to a new platform of realization that spurs the human intellect to learn about it's Maker?

Contemplating and considering the awesome creations of Allah before us sparks off our hidden capabilities to delve deeper and come to see things which many do not perceive at first hand about our reality and what we are capable of with Allah's Permission?

When we look at the Sun and marvel at it's origin and life giving source to all that is in and on the Earth, we start to realize just how supreme is Allah and the unlimited Greatness of our Creator?

Our Sun is just one out of billions or trillions of stars out there in the universe and our universe is just one out of many others that we have yet to learn of or discover?

It is unbecoming of anyone who tries to deny Allah and our indebtedness to Him the Almighty!

For us to be true Muslims, we have to strive day in day out to learn and discover more and more details about our being in order for us to develop and build a healthy evergrowing bedrock of Iman towards Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.

We swat a fly or a mosquito so easily before us and extinguish that insect without a care or bother about it's entity?

Are we capable of returning it to life or even be able to create half or even a portion of it's wing or any other part of it's minute creation?

What more when we contemplate on creating anything else?

We are capable of altering things with our meddling or willful manipulations of the stem cells structures and other aspects of anything but we are not and never will be capable of giving life to any being without the Will and Consent of Almighty Allah.

Only Allah Azza Wa Jalla is capable of doing that as He is the Almighty Creator.

Muslims need to learn and study about such things and not fall prey to his or her ego which seeks to deny Our Creator.

All Muslims must improve their knowledge by each passing second and not waste away our remaining moments of our life.

May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala increase our Iman and guide us towards being better striving Muslims for Iman is not obtained by just idle leisure.

Declaring One's Embracing of Islam - About Time!

I refer to the Utusan Malaysia report stating that the BN Federal Government of Malaysia are considering introducing a law requiring converts to Islam have their new status declared openly to avoid the unnecessary repercussions from their 'hush hush' conversions to Islam before this?

I for one think that it is about time that JAKIM @ the Islamic Development Department of the Government of Malaysia look into the welfare of the converts to Islam which has been neglected and ignored before this by 'self centred, pompous, couldn't care less' officers and officials of the nation's state religious departments all these while?

It is good of Abdullah Badawi to do at least something useful and beneficial for once!

The affairs of the converts to Islam here in Malaysia has been so overlooked by the relevant Islamic Councils of the various states in this country!

A unique case that needs further discussion:
This announcement of the PM comes at a convenient time where I have been asked by a Malaysian Christian through email about a special case where the Christian's friend is a Chinese lady whose parents converted to Islam when she was 8 years old!

Her friend is a non practicing Chinese Muslim and wants out of her status as a 'Muslim'.

Now, as we know, when parents convert to Islam like in the case above, the children who are below 18 years of age are automatically converted together with their parents to Islam.

If the parents had become good practicing Muslims and succeed in explaining the Faith of Islam to their young children and bring them about to be practicing Muslim converts worth their new names and develop strong solid Aqeedah's and practice the faith with the relevant Amals @ Deeds, then all will be fine.

What about the case where these new Muslims who are parents fail to teach and guide their offspring to be good practicing Muslims as them?

That is if they practice the Islamic faith at all in the long run?

Let's take a look at the case of Revathi Masoosai formerly known as Siti Fatimah binti Abdul Karim who rocked the nation with her situation where she was raised as a Hindu by her Hindu grandmother after her convert to Islam Christian father and Hindu mother handed her over to the Hindu grandmother?

We all know what happened and the brouhaha that the case gave birth to?

She has stated defiantly that she is a Hindu and wants to have nothing to do with Islam and I for one say that she has her grounds to say so!

She was raised as a Hindu and lived her whole life as a Non Muslim!

Now, let's take a look at the case which the Malaysian Christian has forwarded to me and asks for my help in sorting out her now 30 over year old Chinese lady friend who despite having a Muslim name after being converted against her will at the tender age of 8 years old, has never practiced the Islamic faith despite having Chinese Muslim parents all her life?

The 'Chinese Muslim' in name only states that she has never practiced Islam all these years, has gone to worship idols at the temples, ate pork and indulged in all things that aren't Islamic now wants to marry her Non Muslim Chinese boyfriend?

I mean, let's be rational and examine the circumstances above?

When Non Muslims convert to Islam when they are single, it's one thing.

On the other hand when Non Muslim parents convert to Islam and forcibly convert their underage children to the faith, the results are not that heartening when they fail to raise their children as true Muslims?

When the children grow up as Muslims in name only without fully coming to believe in Allah as their Lord and God Almighty, the result is the deluge of personal mental, emotional, social dilemmas in their life's.

Do we force such people to live a hypocritical life for no one has made any attempts to raise them up as true Muslims until and unless they themselves make efforts to study and learn their Islamic faith?

This is not something that we can afford to just ignore and pretend that it does not happen?

There are many out there caught in this sorry state of affairs and live a life devoid of personal contentment as true blue believing Muslims!

So, we see many Muslims in name only living a lie and ending up as sinners for the failure of their parents or the relevant Islamic authorities to reach out to these poor folks and only come to take action against them when they are forced to resort to legal action in declaring their intentions to remove the hollow label of their being a Muslim?

Can you see what I am relaying here?

These are our fellow Malaysians who become unwilling pawns of their parents who convert to Islam but fail and neglect the children when it comes to instilling in them the principles and practices of the Islamic faith?

Who else do we blame for the predicament of such folks like Revathi Masoosai and the 'Chinese Muslim' in name only lady?

The Christian who has reached out to me states that the father of her friend remains firm in not allowing his daughter to take steps to announce her decision to get herself out of her sorry faithless situation!

How do we solve this mess?

I ask those who call themselves as scholars and masters of Islamic jurisprudence to share with me their views and advice for me to relay to the concerned parties.

May Almighty Allah guide us towards giving a satisfactory answer and way to uphold justice on this life related matter.

Saudis demolish remains of the Prophet's Home

It saddens my heart to learn that the Saudis have gone to such an extent as to demolish and destroy the original abode in Makkah Al Mukarramah of Almighty Allah's Greatest and Final Messenger, the Blessed Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam where Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam had lived for 28 years before his Hijrah to Madinah Al Munawwarah in Arabia.

I came across this heartbreaking news when I browsed BuletinOnline.Net which had the proof in the form of photos and from there linked to the Jafariyanews.com which details the irresponsible criminal acts of desecrating the remains of our Holy Messenger's original residence.

The Saudis claim of their actions being that to prevent the act of polytheism if the preservation of such historical buildings and structures is so bloody stupid that I just pray that those who are responsible for such a desecration be stricken with the severest of paralysis for their unacceptable buffoonery in demolishing even the home of our most beloved Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam!

If such is their stupid claim then what about the Holy Kaabah?

Are we prostrating to it and praying to it as what they fear?

How more idiotic can these fellas be?

The entire Muslim world directs its solat towards the Holy Kaabah as a central focus point and as instructed by Rasul Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam upon receiving Allah's Commandment!

I ask that the Saudis stop their destruction of our blessed Prophet's original residence and preserve such ancient relics for the benefit of the Muslims of the world today and in the future as a remembrance of our Prophet's legacy.

I read that the Saudis plan to demolish the Holy Prophet's home to make way for 'be ready for this outrageous news' :

• a parking lot,
  
• two 50 storey hotel towers,
  
• seven 35 storey apartment blocks,
  
• in a project known as the Jabal Omar Scheme!
  
• All these within a stone's throw from the Masjidil Haram!
  
• The irony is that not a single Muslim country, no bloody ayatollah, no scholar, no mufti, no king, sultan or amir or even a bloody Muslim prime minister has raised a whimper of protest against the Saudi's treacherous criminal deeds!
  
• So much for the worldwide Muslim's sensitivity and protests against some Kaffir idiots drawing cartoons lambasting the person of the Holy Prophet!
• Where are the rampaging hordes of enraged Muslims who are deaf, dumb and blind to these Saudi's wanton acts of the ultimate insults against the remembrance of the Holy Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam?

This hanief.blogspot.com fella is a real terror. He so expertly conjures up video after video lambasting the Imam Hadhari that we just can't help but break out in laughter at the way he cleverly edits and puts together socio-political-religious clips such as the ones here?

This is what technology can do when it is used or abused to make a saint out of a sinner or turn a sinner into a saint!

If Zainuddin Maidin was still the 'Mis'information Meanister controlling RTM, Brother Hanief would naturally be very much in demand and offered a fat salary to come up with such videos lambasting the DAP-PKR-PAS Pakatan Rakyat? Hehehehehe..

I am referring to some examples of how senior politicians in the Malaysian political arena like Chua Soi Lek can get 'screwed' literally for getting caught on tape and nowadays whatever shit anyone does won't get to escape from retribution.

This is only here in this world. In reality as a Muslim, I have learned that there are two of Allah's Malaikat's @ Angels, Raqib on our right and A'tid on our left who record each and everything that we do?

We are on Allah's surveillance 24 hours a day, throughout our entire life!

Abdullah Badawi might not have even imagined that what he did at private functions like the extravagant Soiree that he held at the Seri Perdana Prime Minister's Official Residential Palace at Putrajaya might have found it's way here online and now watched by so many Malaysians and others worldwide?

The reality that he has abused the trust of the ones who supported him is right here before us!

Sang Kelembai's Peace Pact with Abdullah Badawi.

I am sure that many of us were sort of surprised to hear of my fellow Blogger Sang Kelembai @ Zaharin Mohd Yasin's about turn in capitulating to the one whom he had sworn to take to task for being (in Sang Kelembai's own words:

"ber-Perdana Menteri seorang yang kaki tidur, yang mementingkan perniagaan anak dan menantu, yang meneruskan rasuah yang berleluasa dan seorang pemimpin yang suka meraba.") which means ' a Prime Minister who is prone to sleep, (practices nepotism in) favoring the businesses of his son and son in law, who allows ongoing corruption and who likes to grope (ladies)"

I just called Zaharin and asked him as to why he has capitulated so abruptly after all that he has lambasted Abdullah Badawi day in day out after getting expelled from UMNO?

Zaharin asked me 'Mahaguru! Is it wrong for me (Zaharin) to embrace a fellow Muslim and to make peace with one who has been whacked left and right by all?'

Well, what can I say but agree that surely there's no law stating that he can't do that but we are talking about years of open cyber warfare here launched by Zaharin against the person whom he has just embraced, apologized profusely to and kissed the very hands that had groped Michelle Yeoh and other fairskinned ladies that were within the Imam Hadhari's reach?

How do we accept such an unforeseen 180 degrees about turn by one of Abdullah Badawi's most embittered critic's?

Mind boggling, one might say but to me I see Sang Kelembai as just another diehard UMNO member who despite all his scathing attacks against Pak Lalalalala just returns to his roots to being a hardcore UMNO Malay nationalist politician!

Yes, he is a dedicated UMNO member, never mind that the party which he loves so much chose to sack him from its membership roll for daring to speak ill of their embattled President?

The problem in UMNO is that they are run like a bloody dictatorship!

It was said that UMNO stood for 'Under Mahathir No Opposition'.

The reality is that even after Mahathir, there is still no room for any free speech or dissent?

Remember the fiasco of the Cawangan Parit Bt.8, Sekinchan UMNO Youth Leader, Saznizam Adham, who got dragged out by his neck in the MYKMU UMNO Forum held at Hotel Singgahsana just for asking why UMNO can't accept Anwar Ibrahim back into it's fold?

When I asked Zaharin to go look at what Kickdefella and Mohd Sayuti Omar have written about his 'kiss and make up' with his beloved Pak Lah, Zaharin replied that he was the one who brought along Mohd Sayuti Omar to greet Pak Lah at the Kota Kinabalu Airport!

Gets pretty ridiculous as we dig deeper, doesn't it?

I mean what will they think of next in the world of our topsy turvy Malaysian chickenshit politics?

You can go screw up somebody upside down as you please all these while and in the next second go chummy chummy and apologize for having ribbed and castigated the person like hell?

Zaharin is one of my blogger friends and it pains me to have to write this but hello?

This is exactly what socio-political-religious bloggers like myself have to contend with and just write the bloody truth for what it is?

I ribbed him about the news that he has been bought for a million ringgits and he replied that hell yeah, he would love to have a million ringgits if it was offered to him before the GE to shut the hell up and kiss kiss Abdullah Hj Ahmad but denies that piece of news as a lie!

He asked me to go read what is reported at the Star online and repeated that he'd kiss old Pak Lalalalala's hand even if he was offered just ten bucks!

Hehehehe! From a million to just ten small ones! What a let down? So cheap aa???

Kickdefella and MSO have both written about Sang Kelembai's kiss and make up with the 'Kerajaan Tiga Beranak' leader.

I think this fiasco will be forever remembered as the day when the Malaysian Blogosphere got screwed by one of it's own?

At the end of the day, Sang Kelembai said to me that if we are to be so critical of his change of heart towards Abdullah Hj Ahmad, what have we to say about the late Yasser Arafat who kissed and made up with Israeli Presidents before?

I could have come up with my appropriate replies but decided not to because I still regard Zaharin as one of my blogger buddies.

I just don't have the heart to hurt him! Friends don't do that!

So in the spirit of camaraderie, I just told him that no matter what I still consider him as my friend and will just write this article to glamorize the bugger! Hehehehehehe!

Zaharin said that he's just waiting to see what Bloggers are gonna paste him with before writing his reposte?

Well, as they say in Malaysian politics, anything goes!

Malaysia's Turning Point in Political Perspectives.

Malaysia is sort of coming out of the woods politically when we saw the Barisan Nasional coalition party headed by UMNO get trounced in 5 northern states of the Malaysian Peninsular recently by the DAP-PKR-PAS 'People's Alliance'.

For a multi-ethnic, multi-faithed, multi-cultural country that has seen so much strife and occupation by foreign powers since the collapse of the Malaccan Sultanate in the 15th century, it's been a constant state of turmoil and upheaval in this developing nation of 26 million over people.

Things aren't as what they used to be anymore.

For the first time after gaining Independence from the British Colonial Empire on 31st August, 1957, we as rightful citizens of this nation are witnessing a turning point in our country where half a century of race based policies drove a wedge between our hearts and brought about a situation where on the surface Malaya which seemed to be a united new nation actually hid underneath the calm, a simmering undercurrent of racist suspicions between one another!

Singapore, British North Borneo as Sabah was called before and Sarawak joined the Federation of Malaya to form Malaysia on September 16th, 1963. Source.

Imagine having all kinds of different ethnics and indigeneous people trying to forge a united Malaysia when over at the Malayan Peninsular there existed an uneasy climate of political jostling for power and position in the newly liberated Malaya?

The Malays realized that if they allowed things to go the way the British Colonials wanted by proposing the Malayan Union policy, their position as being the heirs of Parameswara, the Sumatran prince who established the Sultanate of Melaka and developed the peninsular into being what it was which attracted the foreign powers to come invade and occupy the peninsular for more than 5 centuries will be gone and they needed to defend their rights and stake their claim to be the masters of this land?

In the following documentary series, we can witness for ourselves how things were 10 years before Merdeka and listen to those who fought for and established political parties and trade unions in order to protect and fight for their rights?









Today, the country just witnessed how Malaysians decided that enough is enough as far as race based politics is concerned with dictating where we as a nation are headed to?

The old ways of focusing on just one's own ethnic representation in the federal government of the day which used to and still hangs by a thread, the BN's coalition party led by UMNO, MCA and the MIC plus other parties which were taught an eye awakening political lesson by the voters in the 5 states has shown that Malaysians are no longer bothered about race based politics?

People like me are more looking at the type of persons running for office and couldn't really care about what race the particular candidate standing for elections in my constituency is from?

Yet, time laid apartheid tendencies still surface times and times again when we are constantly bombarded by racists barbs and religious infused propaganda meant to scare and threaten us with guilt and castigated for voting against those who are from our own race and 'faith'?

Emotional blackmail continues to be used by those in the BN especially by UMNO members against those of us who voted against them?

Many have emailed me or sent in their comments asking if I would vote for a clean Non Muslim Non Malay candidate or support a Muslim Malay candidate whose background reeks of scandal?

Naturally, I face a dilemma there but if push comes to shove, I'd go for the clean candidate.

After all, it's a 5 year term. If in the next election, there is a better alternative clean good Muslim candidate who is known to stand up for justice for all, my vote and support would definitely be his or hers?

Yet again, I have to look at which political party he or she represents?

If it is the corrupt, arrogant, oppressive coalition that the BN represents, I would have nothing to do with it?

On the other hand, if things change and the present DAP-PKR-PAS coalition under the People's Alliance forget themselves and turn into as corrupt and arrogant as what the BN have come to be and the BN truly repents and comes out as a decent All Malaysian fair coalition, our choices would change once again?

It all boils down to what the present DAP-PKR-PAS Coalition do in their term as the state governments of the 5 states and whether life improves for all of us under the new alternative governments or gets worse and we are all stuck with the same old shit but under a new form of tyrants?

Currently, we see some of those who were considered as the conscience of the reformists in the BN be given space to play their part in the cabinet of the beleagured and embattled BN federal government of the PM who has overstayed his welcome, Abdullah Badawi?

Here is Zaid Ibrahim, who has been appointed as the Minister in charge of Law in the Prime Minister's Department speak of the need to allow protests by the citizens of Malaysia before he was brought in to the current cabinet by Abdullah Badawi.



In a sense, such thoughts and viewpoints hold promise of a better future for the citizens of this country to be given leeway to express themselves in a manner befitting their positions as those who have brought some changes to our nation's political destination.

Whether the current changes to the foundations and fundamentals of this country comes to result in a more just political, economical and social awakening that promises a better tomorrow for all Malaysians is something that we just have to work towards and hope that Insya Allah, will come to be within our lifetimes?

As far as I am concerned, I will continue to do my part in sharing beneficial views for the good of all my fellow Malaysian citizens, regardless of creed or color?

May Almighty Allah give me the strength and wisdom to do just that. Ameen.

MB Selangor Tan Sri Khalid pula pening pasal babi!

Apalah nasib MB Selangor yang baru, Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim kerana giliran dia pula yang nak kena pening kepala pasal babi?

Iyalah binatang haram itu punya pasal, Menteri menteri besar dah ramai yang terpalit busuk pekungnya kerana terpaksa bergelumang dengan natijah politik akibat permasaalahan yang terbit akibat isu penternakan babi secara haram di Melaka dan sekarang secara sah di Kuala Langat, Selangor?

Menurut Tan Sri Khalid projek ladang penternakan babi di Kuala Langat secara sah dengan peruntukan RM100 juta itu telah sedia diluluskan oleh Menteri Besar BN Selangor yang lalu, Datuk Seri Khor Toyo!

Apakah sudah jadi satu bala bencana bagi mereka yang menjadi Menteri Besar atau Ketua Menteri sesebuah negeri didalam Malaysia ini untuk dibebankan dengan masaalah babi?

Apa apa pun kita kena juga fikirkan bahawa bukan Islam tetap akan memerlukan bekalan babi mereka dan ladang ternakan babi di Kuala Langat yang di luluskan Kerajaan Selangor sebelum ini?

Nampak gaya Pak Khalid kena tahan napas sekejap dan kendalikan babi babi Selangor pula, ye?

Work towards being better Muslims than talk about Islamic State!

I refer to the constant harping about establishing an Islamic State here and there by politicians from the Islamic Party of Malaysia and their ever castigating opponents in the DAP!

Both parties are talking about a situation that has yet to be and forget about working towards guiding the ignorant's in our society towards being better Muslims in the true sense of the word and better citizens of Malaysia in general!

The reality that the majority of the Muslims in Malaysia today are just so and so in their understanding and practice of the Islamic faith.

Muslims today are more inclined to waste away their life's pursuing their worldly goals and objectives and are not that inclined to protect and preserve their Iman @ Faith or care about their obligations as Muslims in the way and manner it is expected of them?

Islam to these lackadaisical 'Muslims' has become a label to them instead of truly be practiced by them with understanding and proper observance?

Symbolism has crept into the lifestyle of today's Muslims and we see many ignorant ones amongst the Malaysian Muslim ummah who just sport tudungs and hijabs outwardly but do not really take care of their adab and proper mannerisms.

We see many who sport kopiahs and keep sprouts of beards in the form of goatees or even large bushy beards but internally lack true knowledge of Islam and are the ones who are prone to brand others who don't look like them or dress like them as the 'faithless ones'!

My personal experiences in dealing with such 'holier than thou' types have further hammered into me that my fellow Muslims today seriously lack true knowledge in Islam.

If I were to go into our Malaysian society today and conduct on the spot interviews about their Islamic knowledge, I am sure to meet those who would be clueless about even the basic pillars of Islam and Iman?

Don't even start about checking these Muslims as to their 'Fardhu Ain' knowledge?

We are sure going to be disappointed with what we will find?

So to the ones who are constantly bickering and arguing about setting up an Islamic state constitutionally, I would rather ask that they go about educating and helping the Muslims who are living their life's as hollow shells of true Muslims in the reality of our present situations all over the nation and then, only then look towards institutionalizing the nation according to what they plan or wish to?

As for the likes of Karpal Singh and Lim Kit Siang, I ask that these elderly politicians not to be so blinkered in their views and to see that the intention of politicians like Tuan Guru Hj Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat and Tuan Guru Hj Abdul Hadi Awang are just to see their fellow Muslims there in Kelantan and Terengganu and they are not imposing Islamic Sharia laws on to the Non Muslims there?

Karpal Singh and Kit Siang need to look at the bigger picture and not remain blinkered in their views as they have been almost their entire political life?

I have lots of cases to present as far as the moral and social breakdown taking place in our society today but am not going to publish them yet as I believe these words suffice for now?

Muslims in Malaysia ought to look at how we are living our life's today and what is taking place in our society?

Can we truly claim that we have done enough when our youngsters and ignorants amongst the adults as well are living a life full of sin and apathy towards the social rot infesting the hearts and minds of the lust crazed ones in Malaysia?

Stop talking about Islamic state and start doing your part towards being better Muslims for once?

Dakwah efforts need to be increased by all the able Muslims amongst us and not just warm the seats in the forums and seminars that do nothing to stop the belligerent ones in the Ummah from destroying the whole Muslim population!

Ulamaks ought to come down from their high and mighty offices and institutes and go do some good for the society.

Mufti's and Imams need to go advice the Muslims in person and stop issuing empty slogans and decrees without following up with actual dakwah efforts from them in the true sense!

Can we just mind our own business and see the Muslims of Malaysia end up amongst those destined to Hell?

Stop talking about 'tauliah's this and 'tauliah' that but those with scrolls and degrees up to their nose do nothing concrete about it and when they drop dead take their so called skills that they claim to possess to their graves!

Do we have to wait for disasters to befall us before we repent?

It is as Allah the Almighty says in the Holy Qur'an Al Kareem in Surah Al Asr Chapter 103 Verses 1-3:

Embracing Islam for the wrong reasons - the outcome.

Lately I have been receiving emails and calls from fellow Muslims who wanted to ask me for my help in assisting their colleagues who are converts to Islam and now sadly caught in the age old problem of being 'converts in name only'?

The usual reasons why these people had embraced Islam in the first place were because of the run of the mill causes again such as :

• getting married to Muslim partners (male or female)
• because they got pregnant out of wedlock and needed to get married to solve such dilemma's
• because they wanted to get out of a Non Muslim bad marriage (escapism)
• etc.

It's not fair to lump all such cases together for each case differs as to the reasons and prevailing circumstances which brought the converts to such a decision or situation where they fall out of faith and return to their previous faith or belief or just become atheists?

We need to know that people like these are forced to become Muslims just because they were caught in a situation where they had no choice?

It was something that they had to do at the particular moment in their life's.

This is the main reason why many converts to Islam fail to stay true to the faith?

The bedrock of Iman and Aqeedah was just not there in the first place!

Embracing Islam because they had to instead of becoming Muslim because they really want to?

The prevailing circumstances were more of pressing circumstances than a sincere wish to be Muslim because of their faith in Allah?

Many Muslims in name only are also caught in this same situation for they fail to make the necessary efforts to realize their true status as Muslims?

They neglected to make efforts to study and practice their faith from the moment they came to understand about anything?

The problems we are facing today as a result of the neglect of all parties concerned to carry out their duties in overseeing the religious welfare of our fellow Muslims especially those who are concerts to Islam and those who are big city dwellers such as here in KL, Georgetown, Penang, Ipoh, Perak, etc. are so frustrating that at times I just seethe with anger and so dismayed to hear of such things?

Who do we blame for this sorry state of affairs?

Who?

Can we blame the various Jabatan Agama Islam 'pegawai's?

Can we lay the guilt on to each Mufti who are sitting high and mighty in their plush air-conditioned offices overlooking the vista before them?

Can we put the blame on all the various Exco's of Religious Affairs who are so busy with their meetings here, seminars there day in day out all over the country?

Shall we heap all the converts sins of getting out from practicing the faith on to the Muslim Chief Minister's and Menteri Besar's shoulders?

Finally do we lay the blame onto our Royal Highnesses the Malay Sultans for the deteriorating iman of the said converts due to nobody really bothering to look into their state of faith or affairs?

Do we have to wait till cases such as Revathi Masoosai or formerly known as Siti Fatimah binti Abdul Karim explodes and smashes us in our faces?

The failure of the BN Government in looking into the welfare of the converts or reverts to Islam all these years add to the already messed up situations in the religious departments of this land.

Most Malays practice discrimination when dealing with Muslims from other races and ethnic origins?

They look down upon Indian Muslims or Chinese Muslims whom they consider to be 2nd grade Muslims.

Even to this day, the general saying that uninformed Malays state is that the Chinese or Indians who embrace Islam is that they have 'masuk Melayu'?

Such utter stupidity still prevails to this day!

No one can become a Malay by embracing Islam! He or she will still be whatever race or ethnicity they are born as?

It is their misconceived notion that being Malay in Malaysia means that they are better than the other ethnicities born in this country?

They forget about what Allah's Greatest Messenger has said in his Final Sermon to all Mankind?

"All Mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a Non Arab nor does a non Arab has any superiority over an Arab;

In addition, a White has no superiority over a Black nor has a Black any superiority over a White except by piety and good actions.

Learn that every Muslim is a brother (or sister) to another Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one Brotherhood (or Sisterhood)."

There are still a lot of educating to be done to the Muslims of this land. Everyone needs to do his or her part in looking out for one another?

I just ask that whoever is able to do some Dakwah efforts to help guide our new brothers and sisters in Islam to do just that while they are still alive?

We never know whether we are still going to be alive tonight or until tomorrow morning?

Whatever little information or knowledge about Islam that we have managed to acquire ought not to be wasted by keeping them to ourselves?

Who knows that our small efforts in helping to share Islamic information with others might be blessed by Allah and will in turn flourish the spark of Iman in the hearts and minds of our brothers and sisters who have uttered the Shahadah in whatever circumstances?

We need to shower our brothers and sisters who have come into our fold with the love and compassion that I know exists in each and every heart of ours.

Please do not differentiate between anyone whom we see coming into Islam, no matter who or what they are?

Accept them as they have come into Islam and show your concern and care to them. The rewards of those who help their brethren in Islam is guaranteed by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala both here in this life and in the hereafter.

After all, what are we so bloody proud about our hereditary?

What can we be proud of saying that we are this and this and so and so is from such a lineage?

Malaysians are so fond of calling each other derogatory names!

We call others 'pariah this pariah that! We call our brothers 'keling ngok ngak', melayu ulu, cina bukit, bai mabok, jakun, orang hutan, this and that!

We forget that beneath this epidermis that we call our Malay, Mamak, Chinese, Indian, Sikh, Orang Asli, Caucasian skin we are all just muscle and bones!

We look the same minus our skin and eye color.

When we die, we decompose and swell up, putrefy as a dead rotting corpse.

All our worldly achievements, titles, honorifics, all disappear into nothingness when our soul is taken away from our bodies.

Do you remember all those who lived in grandeur before us?

All those people who drowned in opulence and wealth but yet have died and turned into just a memory?

We seriously need to reflect on all that has happened to people who lived before us and that we too one of these days will follow them back to the presence of Allah or be condemned to the burning Hellfire which He has prepared for us if we fail to heed His Warnings?

We need to help our brothers and sisters who have come into Islam or those who are seeking the Truth about Islam out there.

We need to help ourselves by learning about Islam and help to teach others about whatever we come to acquire about it?

We really need to appreciate the faith of Islam that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala has honored us with?

We can do it if we want to by starting to share with our friends and contacts what we have come to learn and understand about Islam.

Let's start by correcting ourselves and steering our life's away from fitnah and evil. Insya Allah.

Azizul Azmi and Suraiza Nikah and Wedding Ceremony

Kuala Lumpur. Saturday 5th April 2008.
I attended my nephew Azizul Azmi's Nikah ceremony last night where he successfully became the husband of Suraiza binti Abdul Razak with just one 'lafaz of the akad nikah' and today went to his wedding feast held at the bride's residence at Taman Bukit Indah, Ampang, Selangor.


Today we attended his wedding feast and were entertained by a live band performance by the group called 'Sky Juice'.

I was surprised to see a famous guitarist Yusof Ibrahim a.k.a 'Chobit' among the many guests of the wedding and as a special request from the host played for the wedding guests 'Black Magic Woman' a hit by Carlos Santana. I recorded the following clip for you.


Another special presentation was a duet by Azizul and his younger brother 'Angah' where they sang a popular hit song 'Gadis Melayu' with Azizul resplendent in his Malay traditional attire where he was the 'King of the Day'.



There was also a special performance by an oldtimer by the name of Zainal Gadut. He sure must have been quite a swinger during his heydays? Hehehehe..



Let's wish Azizul and his bride Suraiza all the best in their marriage for ever! Amin!

BN's wakeup call - repercussions of being in power too long!

All of us know that the BN has been in power far too long for it's own good. 50 years of the same old mindsets and refusal to listen to the grassroots is what caused the BN to be finally toppled from its former stronghold states like in Penang, Perak, Selangor and Kedah.

Gerakan, an Opposition party founded by mostly Straits Chinese came into power in Penang since 1969 and merged with the Alliance party (now BN) to form the State Government.

After 36 years of continuing to be in power, Gerakan was recently routed by the DAP-PKR-PAS Barisan Rakyat Coalition and sent packing into history!

The DAP has finally succeeded in achieving it's lifelong dream of forming the State Government of Penang and Lim Guan Eng, it's Secretary-General is now the new Chief Minister of Penang, a position which his father had wished for all his life!

PKR is now with the DAP as the new State Government of Penang.

Congratulations to the people of Penang for having it in them to vote for change. Things won't change for us Malaysians until and unless we go and change it ourselves.

See what we can do if we just follow our hearts and go vote for change?

Among the reasons why people weren't happy with the BN?

• Extremely brutal and violent FRU and PDRM handling of peaceful protests by the people!
• Dismissive attitudes by the BN Coalition party leaders such as the arrogant manner by which both UMNO and MIC members acted as if the public are stupid and need not be given explanations as to why certain issues or matters need to be clarified by the BN government?
• Mountains of corruption and criminal cases left unattended and at times obviously proven corrupt crooks in the BN have been somehow found to be 'squeaky clean' as in the cases of Eric Chia and the Perwaja steel mill case and many others?
  
• VK Lingam's judicial fix up case still is being given the runaround by the so called Royal Commission?
  
• Altantuya Shaariibu's murder case continues to be 'ninja'ed by the 'just tease' system?

Jika sekiranya warga warga negara seperti saudara telah mengambil langkah mengujudkan laman blog seperti ini dari dahulu lagi, maka ada kemungkinan saudara akan berjaya berhubung terus dengan rakyat Malaysia?

Saya faham bahawa saudara mengambil langkah ini disebabkan BN terpukul dengan kekalahan yang tidak pernah BN bayangkan selama ini?

BN harus akur bahawa dunia sekarang ini bukan lagi zaman dimana masyarakat am boleh terus dikelabui dengan dakyah propaganda BN seperti dahulu?

Saudara harus faham bahawa ledakan maklumat sudah tidak boleh dibendung lagi dizaman ini!

Internet membebaskan kami dari terpaksa mendengar dan menonton berita berat sebelah dari corong radio dan kaca tv atau membaca propaganda BN di akhbar akhbar media perdana.

Kini kami bebas menyuarakan pendapat dan meluahkan apa yang terbuku di hati selama 50 tahun lebih dikongkong oleh Pakatan BN!

Malaysians must liberate themselves from racist mindsets.

Malaysia is a beautiful land where Malays, Chinese, Indians, Sikhs, Orang Asli's, Sabahans, Sarawakians, etc. have been living in relative peace ever since this nation came into being.

The reality that we are a multi-ethnic, multi-faithed, multi-cultural melting pot of various races is something that many of us failed to realize and the policymakers of the ruling coalition party @ Barisan Nasional simply failed to take into considerations and they simply got fat and big headed over the years since Malaya got its independence from the British Colonials in 1957.

Back then, Malaysians were mostly on almost the same economic status and there was mutual respect for one another.

The Malays were mostly engaged in agricultural activities and most rural Malays were padi farmers and lived a simple life. Indians were employed in rubber estates and the Chinese were involved in tin mining and ran small businesses in the towns and cities.

Life for Malayans was relatively average and most people just got along fine with the social contract prevalent at those times.

After Independence, the Malays who could afford it started to send their sons and daughters to higher academic institutions in an effort to improve the quality of their life's.

A large majority of Malayan Indians were content to remain working in the rubber estates as most of them were descendants of immigrant laborers from South India particularly Tamil Nadu.

The Chinese as usual were the enterprising lot and they quickly established themselves as those who excelled in commercial activities and settled down in the small towns and opened up trading businesses nationwide.

Other races such as the Ceylonese were quick to move in to clerical jobs in the various government service and Sikhs proved themselves at home in the legal fraternity.

Life for Malayans were relatively easy and all Malayans were content to improve their lots according to the opportunities that came their way or by the fruits of their labor in pursuing their own individual goals and objectives.

We all know how Malaya became Malaysia when Singapore, Sabah and Sarawak joined the Federation of Malay States in the Malayan Peninsular in 1963.

When did things start to go wrong for Malaysia?

From my point of view, when our forefathers resorted to divide ourselves into being Malays, Chinese, Indians and Others?

That was the planting of the seeds of apartheid in the framework of the infant nation.

Yes, we are different ethnically and religious wise but we are Malaysians aren't we?

When we start differentiating ourselves based on race and religion, the internal divide is then set into our mindsets and we start to be apprehensive towards those who aren't from our own ethnicity and faith.

Automatically we will tend to discriminate between fellow citizens and as proven by the way the nation has come to be where it is now, we grew apart socially, culturally and most obviously in the economic areas.

Right now, the country is going through a purging of its political system and changes that are taking place are of the kind that no one would have thought possible to ever occur in Malaysia?

Lim Kit Siang, Anwar Ibrahim and Tuan Guru Hadi Awang sitting side by side announcing a People's Alliance!

Something that the BN used to joke about and ridicule the Malaysian Opposition for so many years before this?

DAP working together with PAS?

Never in a million years was what the saying used to be!

Today, it is UMNO, MCA and the MIC who are getting whupped by the rakyat!

UMNO will no longer get to lord it over the rest of the coalition parties in the BN because frankly speaking we Malaysians are just sick and tired of having to differentiate ourselves according to race!

Religious wise we are still different and I don't think we will ever merge faiths but politically, we are heading towards a two party system that would no longer bother about racial divides?

Racists can just wait to be swept away in the next Malaysian GE!

Time for Malaysians to start looking into getting the country back into shape and forge a better future for all.

We can do it Malaysia! All it takes is to realize that we are all the Children of Adam and are all in this together.

Let's work towards making Malaysia a great place to live again!

As for UMNO, you folks just saw the shenanigans that took place at Hotel Singgahsana's MYKMU UMNO 'Pow Wow'!

Pow Wow indeed! Malaysians were shocked to see such gangsterism and hooliganism erupt in a meeting of supposedly concerned educated and professional Malays?

The way things took place that day, UMNO is headed towards its ultimate end! Do you agree?

Answering Rest of Fatt Monk's Questions on Islam.

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

I am thankful to Allah for allowing me to get to answering these questions asked by Fatt Monk?

Okay, I have answered Question 1, so now let's get to the rest of the questions.

2.If a person is born into a Muslim family, does the person have the choice of quitting Islam and join another religion?

The answer is NO.

3. If a person embraced Islam, why is it that in Malaysia you are forced to change to a Muslim name?

There is no rule demanding that a convert to Islam must change his or her name to a Muslim one but if the current Non Muslim name is that of a deity or object of veneration that has a negative implication against the new status of the person now being a Muslim, then it is encouraged to adopt a fresh new identity that celebrates the new Muslim's sinless state of being.

So to say that you are forced to is not correct. Encouraged yes, force not quite. Case by case situation.

4. Is it true that a Muslim can marry only another Muslim person?

Yes. Here in Malaysia, a Muslim is allowed to marry only another Muslim. No mixed marriages between Muslims and Non Muslims are allowed.

5.However, is it true that it is the right of the person to choose whatever religion he or she wants even though they are married to a Muslim person?

Not true. Anyone who apostates from Islam after marrying a Muslim will be charged according to the Shariah Laws of this country. There is no such provision allowed in Malaysia.

Lastly, Fatt Monk asked about what I think regarding the Revathi Masoosai case?



Her's is a very tricky one of a kind case. She is said to have been born to a couple in Malacca who converted to Islam.

Her father was a Christian and her mother a Hindu. The couple converted to Islam and then had a baby girl whom they had named as Siti Fatimah binti Abdul Karim.

This baby girl was raised by her Hindu grandmother who renamed her as Revathi Masoosai.

Technically speaking, the grandmother was at fault for raising a child born to a Muslim couple as a Hindu without their consent or their knowledge.

Surely the grandmother knew that the baby is a Muslim infant and she is forbidden by law to raise the child as a Hindu but she did and the tragic thing is that parents had just left the child to be raised by the Hindu grandmother and had not bothered to look into the child's welfare?

The main culprit here as I see it to be the grandmother who willfully raised a child entrusted to her by the parents who were Muslims now?

I wonder again about the lack of rational thought of such Muslim parents who knowingly had handed over their newborn Muslim infant to the Hindu maternal grandmother?

I know that it is wrong for us to assume or conclude anything as to the prevailing circumstances that forced the Muslim parents to do such an atrocious thing such as handing over their Muslim child to a Hindu grandmother?

I am sure that there are legal guidelines forbidding the raising of a Muslim child as a Hindu in this country?

The parents and the grandmother are equally at fault. So are the Muslim authorities.

All through the years that this child grew up, went to school, having a Muslim identity but growing up as a Hindu girl, don't tell me no one sensed anything wrong here?

Even if she had lived in a rural area, were there no one who came to learn of this odd situation?

Estate chief? Neighbors? Penghulu? Whoever?

Strange isn't it?

Revathi is not at fault here. She is a victim of circumstances.

As a baby, what would she have known or be capable of changing about her weird circumstances?

For all that she knew from being raised by her Hindu grandmother, she was a Hindu?

So Revathi grew up as a Hindu woman having a Muslim name! Strange but true?

She fell in love with a Hindu man and despite her claims of changing her name officially from Siti Fatimah to Revathi Masoosai which is doubtful, she was married off by the temple officials according to Hindu customs although they surely must have known her odd situations?

So we have another set of guilty party to lay the blame upon? The Hindu temple authorities for going ahead with officiating and solemnizing such a marriage knowing fully well that there are legal screw ups in her case?

Parents, grandmother, temple authorities and last but not least the Malaysian Islamic and local authorities for not nipping this problem in the bud when she was still a baby?

Surely there must have been the midwives of the local clinics who must have known about the Hindu grandmother raising a Muslim child or could it be because the parents were Indian converts, the Malay Muslims did not know of the parents conversion to Islam and nobody bothered to know anything about them?

Were the parents practicing Muslims?

Or were they just Muslims in name only?

Did her father go pray at the local surau or masjids?

Did the Imam of the local masjid or surau know of the father and his mixed up family?

I mean, if we want to dissect and try to see where things went wrong for this person, there are just so many parties that we can lay the fault with?

I know that many other cases like these take place in the estates and rural areas and no one bothers about them until the particular person get's snagged in one of the official dealings where someone alert might sense that something is just not right and presto, they get wind of the situation and immediately, the religious authorities sprout ears and develop eyes that can suddenly see the whole circus of a situation?

All that the Malaysian Islamic authorities would know is to pass immediate judgments and issue forth their devastating decrees without considering the tremendous emotional and mental impact it would cause to the parties concerned?

In this case, Revathi Masoosai who grew up as a Hindu was forcibly separated from her Hindu husband and put under a rehabilitation program that is to me a case of too little too late!

I am in no position to rule over this case as I am a citizen just like you but if it was up to me, I'd let her return to her husband as she does not have the wish or the desire to be a Muslim?

Remember the case of the Prophet's own grandfather and uncles?

Many of them died as Kaffir's no matter that the Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam himself pleaded and coaxed them to come to Islam?

In this case, this girl was raised as a Hindu. Grew up thinking she's a Hindu. Parents didn't do nothing! Grandmother knowingly raised her as a Hindu.

Technically in my own personal opinion, she is a Hindu.

She grew up as one! Can we deny that? No amount of forcing her to wear a tudung, eat beef, etc can change what she has been raised up to believe as a true blue Hindu?

Iman and Aqeedah doesn't come as an instant quick fix solution!!! No sirree!

Remember the Prophet's saying that every child is born pure and free from sin?

It is the parents or the guardians who raise up the child as a Muslim, Nasrani or Majusi? Same here with this 'Revathi'!

She may have been born to an Indian Muslim convert couple but she was raised as a Hindu!

Do we blame her for that? No way!

You don't expect someone to practically turn into a Believer just because you take her by force and try to force feed faith and acceptance into her overnight or 6 months or even 6 years?

You can lead a horse to the water but you can't just force it to drink!!!

Same here with Islam.

We can call. We can guide. We just can't force.

Revathi's case is unique and is a sad tragedy. I leave it to the Ulamaks to come to a decision.

The reality in her case is that she has grown up as a committed Hindu lady and she has not known any other faith even the faith of her parents whom I am sure would not have given her away to be raised as a Hindu if they were strong knowledgeable committed Muslims themselves in the first place?

Revathi has made her decision and in Islam, a true Kadhi would have ruled in her favor to live as she has been raised up as?

This is what I think.

UMNO Pow Wow Goes Ballistic Because of 'Anwar' Issue!

Thanks to the power of the internet, especially the advent of You Tube giving us a chance to upload and publish videoclips like these, the whole world gets to see the kind of antics that usually don't get shown on the mainstream mass media.

Yesterday's MYKMU UMNO Forum saw Saznizam Adham, the UMNO Youth Chief of Parit 8, Sekinchan get booed and dragged out by UMNO goons who grabbed him by the neck, cursed by all kinds of dirty names out of the Hotel Singgahsana Ballroom just for his asking why UMNO can't accept Anwar Ibrahim back into it's fold?

I mean it's not like Anwar is so hard up to get back into UMNO but the reality that there is just no room for any forms of dissent or space for UMNO grassroot leaders like Saznizam who was just voicing out his inner feelings to the party's former President?

The whole nationalist party seems headed to the pit of the has beens in the Malaysian political arena.

Do you think Saznizam is going to stay on as the Parit 8 Sekinchan UMNO Youth leader?

He would be bloody stupid to remain so after being humiliated like that before the whole wide world!

This is UMNO! Under Mahathir No Opposition and now Under Mahathir No Opposing views!

Mahathir is deep set to be the Kingmaker in UMNO but UMNO's influence and authority seems eroding so fast that if you look at the 600 over comments flooding Khir Toyo's blog, you'd read comments from UMNO grassroots who lambast him and the party for the way they mistreated their own UMNO members?

The People's Alliance need to prove to the people that they did no wrong by electing them into power in those 5 states and in the Federal Territory where the People's Alliance MP's are in the majority.

Saznizam must sure be one pissed off UMNO Youth leader! He must be cursing all those who insulted and embarrassed him yesterday?

I wonder how many other 'Saznizam's are seething with anger at the way things went at the MYKMU Forum?

Questions about Islam from a Non Muslim to MAHAGURU58.

I'm already a regular visitor of your Mahaguru58 blog. I read it like newspaper everyday, and your content is always up to date and very interesting.

Hurray for Pakatan Rakyat!!! Keep it up!!

I must salute you for your initiative to start this new blog with regards to the education and more importantly the perception of Islam.

I find that the main stream media has failed to not only explain and educate Islam in a open way to the Non-Muslims but also a big portion of the Muslim community as well.

I really hope your blog will reach out to more people in Malaysia and have everyone understand Islam better.

I'm a Non-Muslim Malaysian working overseas for many years and have had the opportunity to meet Muslims from many different countries.

I have to say, that the perception of Islam I got before leaving Malaysia and after meeting all these foreign Muslim people is very different.

So, I'd like to post some questions here and hope that you can help with clarifying it.

1.When someone embraced Islam but after sometime, decided to quit, is this allowed by Islam?

From my foreign Muslim friend, this is not a problem.

Islam is a free religion, and if a person stops believing in Islam, they have the right to quit.
There's no point forcing someone to believe in Islam.

However, I have the perception that in Malaysia, when someone try to quit from Islam, they are put into a rehabilitation center to try and "bring her back to the right path"?

• For e.g the Revathi issue? Can you please clarify on this?

What I understand from my foreign Muslim friend is that any Non Muslim can marry a
Muslim (It doesn't matter whether it is a male or a female.)

But the Muslim person must explain the benefits of Islam to his or her spouse. Of course, over time the spouse will hopefully be converted to Islam.

5.However, is it true that it is the right of the person to choose whatever religion he or she wants even though they are married to a Muslim person?

These are few of the different views I have between the perception of Islam in Malaysia and Muslims from different countries.

Thanks in advance for clarifying this. Some of the questions might be due to my wrong perceptions.

I have been getting some ribbing from Sister Aliya that I have been preaching and that would soon bore people to death as there are too many sites online doing just that!

Anyway, if I were to wait for questions to be posed to me first before I write anything in response, I might just end up dropping dead before unloading here all that I have acquired and learned about Islam in my lifetime?

We can never tell, can we?

Life is so unpredictable that out of the blue, before we realize it, our time is up and there's just no delaying our departure by even a split micro second?

So, forgive me for being preachy but that's exactly what I have and am destined to do?

Well, here are my answers to the first of Fatt Monk's questions. I will answer them one by one, per dedicated article, Insya Allah.

Dear Brothers & Sisters reading this,

Islam is the culmination of the complete revelations of Allah the Almighty, our Lord and Creator who has been sending to us Mankind more than 124,000 Prophets and Messengers over Time!

Starting with the creation of our Father Prophet Adam Alaihis Salam, right until the very last and Final Messenger and the Seal of the Prophets, the Blessed Messenger Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam ( May peace be upon him).

The Declaration of Faith in Islam constitutes denying any other forms of imagined deity or deities save for attesting that Allah is the Only God worthy of worship and declaring that Muhammad is the (Final) Messenger of Allah.

A person who after being a Disbeliever @ Kaffir, decides to embrace Islam without being forced or compelled to in the first place and after studying the basic principles of the faith or after years and years of in depth studies about Allah, His Prophets, The Do's & Don'ts in Islam ; decides with a clear, rational knowledgeable state of mind and in full awareness embraces Islam and accepts Allah the Almighty as his or her Lord and testifies to Muhammad being Allah's Messenger is deemed to have entered into a Covenant with Allah and is forbidden to break such a bond.

I stated before a full house crowd of Malaysians from all walks of life, ethnicity and creed at the DAP organized 'After Lina Joy Forum' at the Hotel Armada in Petaling Jaya last year that 'Islam is not like a country club membership which one enters and leaves as one pleases?'

The moment that you declare that you willfully and rationally accept No other God but Allah the Most Supreme as your Lord, you are forever obliged to not break your bond with Him, God Almighty!

You do not acknowledge Allah as your God and then make an about turn and walk out on Him!

This is Allah, God Almighty we are talking about?

Not a fellow human being or any other creature that Man is known to have betrayed and abused the trust or friendship over and over again through the Sands of Time?

The punishment for such an act of 'Apostasy' is very severe.

We are talking about the maximum penalty that an apostate from Islam has to face as the ultimate consequences of his or her crime of denying Allah as his or her Lord.

I have scanned the particular Hadith (Sayings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad SAW) with regard to the case where he states that the blood of a Muslim (male and female) who has testified that 'There is no other God but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah's Messenger' cannot be shed except in 3 cases:

1. Where the Muslim has killed someone willfully (not as an act of self defence but as an act of intentional homicide out of rage, spite, hatred, enmity, etc.)
   
2. A married Muslim (male or female) who has committed adultery @ illegal sexual intercourse with one who is not his or her married partner.

To answer the question as to whether someone who has come to embrace Islam and declared or testified that There is No Other God but Allah and declared Muhammad as to being the (Final) Messenger of Allah is allowed to leave the faith of Islam?

The answer is NO.

The Islamic authority is to first advice the said apostate and help to show him or her as to the errors of his or her way and to guide the said apostate back to the Truth of Islam 3 times as in the act of holding the apostate in official custody and after 3 failed attempts to bring the apostate back to the fold of Islam, to put the apostate to death.

This is not my ruling or any other humanbeing but the decree of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala Himself as the Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam never issued forth any rule or command until he gets the revelation from Almighty Allah through the intermediary of the Archangel Jibreel Alaihis Salam @ Gabriel (peace be upon him).

So to all would be Muslims, my advice to you is to fully understand that when you come and make a covenant with Allah to take Him as your Lord and accept Muhammad as His Messenger, you do not have a choice to break such a covenant and expect to get away just like that?

The repercussions of turning yourself away from your Lord is not something simple.

Islam is not a faith to be played around with?

It is the birthright of those who can see the virtues of being a Muslim and gain Allah's Mercy and Protection but it does not take any affront to His Majesty as something forgivable.

You either enter into Islam wholeheartedly or stay out of it as a Disbeliever?

The Choice is yours. Hope that answers your question, brother.

'Fitna' the Dutch Hate Movie Discussed.

I am sure that you may have heard about 'Fitna' the Dutch controversial hate movie by Geert Wilders being discussed online around the world for the way it picks and chooses selected Qur'anic verses and interlaces them with scenes of the 9-11 World Trade Center airplane attacks, terrorist bombings of the Madrid train stations, London bus bombings, Iraqi decapitation clips, etc in a hodge podge hate inciting scenes and the insulting cartoon purportedly showing their imagined idea of the Blessed Messenger Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam! May those who insult him be cursed!

To me, it's just selective editing of tv footage compiled to just show the negative parts of what has happened in the world?

I can go and get thousands of clips showing western atrocities upon Muslims and post it here!

A major reason why Muslims are suffering today in this world is because we have no Khalifah watching out over us?

The Catholic Christians have their Pope. Muslims have no one. The current so called Muslim leaders are at odds against one another.

Our sorry excuse of an 'Imam Hadhari' is a corrupt cowardly joker who has done us Muslims more harm by his introducing the 'Islam Hadhari Fitna'.

Another wedge to drive the Muslims apart! Instead of trying to unify the UMNO and PAS Muslims, this sorry thick faced PM of UMNO's BN Government chose to add another headache to the Malaysian Ummah.

Social rot is at an all time high. Crime has shot up during his rule and no one feels safe anymore?

To add to our problems, comes this Geert Wilders 'movie'!

I can do a tit for tat movie clip showing you all the murders, violence, hate crimes against Muslims of the world and jack up the animosity of my fellow Muslims against the ones irresponsibly trying to stir trouble amongst us the people of the world?

What good would that do for us?

We have enough problems of our own in trying to seek a living and doing our best to put aside our differences and overcome a 51 year old regime that has terrorized us Malaysians under it's apartheid policies and still lording over us except in 5 states that has seen the people giving the People's Pact Governments the power to rule there.

This Geert Wilders is just one out of the millions of hate propagators out there in the world who are deaf, dumb and blind to the truth of Islam.

Sure, there are Muslims who just can't take it anymore and go whack those who invade and oppress their fellow Muslims, families and loved ones!

What do the invaders expect?

That the Muslims will roll over and play dead?

As long as there is a thing called honor left shining bright in any honorable Muslim's heart, male and female, we will never submit ourselves to a life that is devoid of that aspect that differentiates us from the evil ones.

Geert Wilders is just another sick bastard seeking public exposure at the expense of the safety and sanctity of the billions of mankind who are reeling from the hardships they are facing in the ever changing, cruel, sadistic world which is the result of terror mongers and hate spewing sickos of this world from all walks of life and found in all creeds.

We Malaysians have just started to come out from under the tyranny of the Barisan Nasional racist chaps.

Do not let this 'Fitna' movie which is exactly that @ a Libel against us Muslims and Islam which calls to Peace divide us here in this multi ethnic, multi faithed, multi-cultural nation!

We have to acknowledge that hate and violence is in every nation out there in the world and The Netherlands which is supposedly one of the most liberal countries in Europe has sadly allowed this bastard Geert Wilders put the 'Land of the Windmill's in danger of drawing the anger of the peaceloving world's populations.

If they continue to insult us, then let it be known to them, that Muslims are commanded by Allah to defend our honour and the honour of our beloved Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam.

I, Zainol Abideen a.k.a. MAHAGURU58 hereby pledge to not support The Netherlands or it's produce in any way from this moment on till that rogue hate stirring so called nation stops it's hate crimes against us!

I fully support Datuk Shahrir Abdul Samad's call for Malaysians to boycott The Netherlands and it's goods from being bought or consumed in our beloved country!
