Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam, the Last Messenger of God.

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

Dear brothers and sisters, Children of the Prophet Adam Alaihis Salam, our Father and borne of Sayyidatina Hawwa @ Mother Eve, Radhiallahu Anha.

I greet you in the name of Allah, God Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.

To those of you who are Muslims, I'd like to wish you a 'Blessed Juma'at'!

May you my brothers make your way to the masjid well in advance before the Jumaat prayers and refrain from engaging in idle talk whilst being in the masjid compounds.

As you know, Yaum al Qiyamat @ Doomsday is said to take place on a Friday ; so when here we are still alive on this Jumaat, we need to praise Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala for still giving us time to carry out our amals and ibadah for His Sake and for our Salvation.

Now, how many of us have prepared ourselves to be in a situation where we won't be embarrassed to stand before Allah Azza Wa Jalla should today be our last day here on Earth?

I'm sure not that many, me included.

I feel that I still have a very long way to go before I can even rest easy that hey, I have repented and I sincerely hope that Allah Ar Rahman Ar Rahim has it in Him to forgive me for my screwups here on Earth.

Really.

From the bottom of my heart. I feel so insignificant when I see myself prostrating before Him yet know that there have been so many times when I have at times been a bit nonchalant about my duties towards my Creator.

I really wonder at His Magnanimous Self.

I mean that if it was any one of us lording it over the entire creation, we really wouldn't be as forgiving as Allah, God Most Merciful, Most Kind.

I remember an incident when Allahyarham Sheikh Ahmed Deedat ( may Allah be pleased with him) was questioned by a Non Muslim Chinese lady here in Malaysia during his tour of this country as to why Allah, God Almighty if He is really the Most Compassionate God of all Mankind, allowed bad things to take place?

The learned Caller to Islam asked her whether she would like it if the second that she thought bad, a lightning bolt from the Heavens was to strike her?

Would she like that?

The woman shook her head indicating no.

The Sheikh asked whether she would be agreeable to having an electric shock buzz through her body the instant that she took something that was not hers?

Again she said no. She wouldn't like that at all!

So the Sheikh told her that Almighty Allah so loves us mankind that He is willing to let us choose between good and evil yet doesn't just leave us to our own devices.

He, the Almighty Creator and Lord of us all, so loves us that He has been sending a 124,000 prophets and messengers to Mankind since He created us through our Father Sayyidina Adam Alaihis Salam over Time.

He created us all from the Light of Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam and from that Noor @ Light, Allah Azza Wa Jall chose to create the entire Creation.

This kind of knowledge can only be fathomed by those who are exposed to theological 'Ilm and have a wider sense of comprehension about the many facets of this earthly existence.

In Islam, we call this form of knowledge as 'Ilm Tasawwuf.

I for one am still and forever will be a diligent mureed @ student of this wondrous and amazing field of the study of the higher realms of the human endeavour to study beyond what we can normally see and comprehend.

Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam's exemplary life remains as the standard and benchmark of an Abdillah's journey to understand and worship His Creator way beyond any other mortal's abilities.

If not for Rasul Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam, none of us would even be here, so to speak!

Yet there are many out there who deride the Noble Most Merciful Messenger of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.

They do so out of sheer ignorance and as a result of their unbridled ego which drags them closer and closer into the pits of the ever blazing Hellfire.

At the moment, the evildoers are still left to live out the remaining moments of their wasteful life's, giving them the illusion of being able to do and say as they please without realizing that each and every foul word, foul deed and foul intentions spewing out of their blackened hearts and rotten souls draws then nearer to an unfathomable doom.

We human beings are said to be forever in loss by Our Lord and Creator save for those who remain steadfast in our faith and in patience, enjoining all to the good and forbid the evil.

It's there in the Surah Al Asr.

Allah reminds us that :

1. Waal AAasri

1. By (the Token of) Time (through the ages),

2. Inna al-insana lafee khusrin

2. Verily Man is in loss,

3. Illa allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati watawasaw bialhaqqi watawasaw bialssabri

3. Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy.

The entire contents of the Qur'an, Allah's Final Testament to us Mankind was revealed to us through His Final Messenger, Muhammad ibni Abdullah, a thousand four hundred over years ago to guide us through these Last Ages.

Those who have it in them to learn and to study about who they are, what is their role here on Earth and as to what purpose they exist here as human beings do put in the effort and the struggle to learn all that there is to this life and when they realize their situations, waste no time in embracing the truth and choose to revere Allah and His Messenger for this blessing given to them to hold on to the Rope of Allah and the Sunnah of the Prophet with all their heart.

The irony is that there are millions of our fellow Children of Adam Alaihis Salam here who take their faith in vain and waste away their life's pursuing temporal pleasures, neglecting to make the best of their remaining moments here on Earth.

I can keep going on and on about the present status quo with regard to the waywardness of a major portion of our being clueless ummah but that would defeat the purpose of this write up this morning.

All I want to ask you, is to please reflect on the Life and Struggles of the Blessed Messenger and the immense sacrifices of his blessed Sahabahs @ Companions.

Watch the movie below to get an idea of how it was for Rasul Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam, the Mercy of Allah for all Mankind through this epic movie directed by the late Moustapha Akkad and a cast of talented actors.

May this movie stir you back to being the exemplary Muslim that you are and can be!

Ameen.

Wabillahi Taufik Wal Hidayah.

Wassalamualaikum Warahmatulillahi Ta'ala Wabarakatuh.
