Islamic Republic of Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad, a symbol of frugality.

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. In the name of Allah, Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.

Juma'at al Khair!
Have a blessed Jumaat @ Friday!

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

Dear brothers & sisters,

The reports about how Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad comes across as a living example of how a Muslim leader should live according to the enjoinments of Rasul Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam has been widespread online on the internet yet mainstream media all over the world do not highlight the evidences about the frugal lifestyle and down to earth administration of one of the Islamic world's prominent nations such as Iran.

Here's a video showing President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad receiving a congregation of Neturei Karta (New York USA) Orthodox Jewish Rabbi's and the way mutual respect and brotherly love between them is exhibited by both important parties destroying the myth that President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad is hell bent on annihilating the Jews of the world as biased media organisations especially the hatemongering ones would have us believe?

President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad is only talking about dismantling the illegal Zionist regime occupying Palestine under the rogue Zionist State of Israel. Neturei Karta, the main Orthodox Jewish organisation of true Jewish Rabbis themselves oppose the existence of the illegal State of Israel and have been struggling for so long to call for the dismantling of the Zionist regime and for the return of Palestine to its people.

Brother Abdylas Tynyshov @ ADES.

Although I have received this kind of reports since quite a long time ago, the emailing of this report below by my fellow Muslim Bloggers Alliance member, Brother Abdylas Tynyshov, a Kyrgystan national currently pursuing his studies at the International Islamic University of Malaysia, Gombak main campus has triggered me to post and publish this article about the lifestyle of the much respected and admired, humble Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad here for our mutual reading and viewing.

May we get to differentiate between the radicals and extremists out there in the world present in almost all civilisations and countries with the existence of good, God fearing illuminaries of our current world.

I have always admired the way and manner by which this most humble and exemplary leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran lives out his life in a manner that you'd never see our Prime Minister or King's live as a true servant of Almighty Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala here in Malaysia.

Over here, the protocols and endless rules or guidelines separate the `Ulul `Amri from the Ummah with all kinds of regulations and needless prohibitions.

As a result you have a wide chasm of indifference growing between the ruler and the people over whom he is appointed to lead?

Where can there be love between the two when we stifle the mahabbah between them? Even at the masjid's we see this higher than thou attitude prevailing in the hearts and mindsets of those who are supposed to lead by example?

They surely do not lead by the example or Sunnah of the beloved Prophet Muhammad ibni Abdullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam!

The Prophet is on record of having lived his life very simply and never adopting an opulent lifestyle full of pomp and pageantry as what we have being put to practice by the Prime Minister and all Cabinet Ministers what more of our large number of the ruling Malay Sultans and Raja's?

Only those who put to practice what Rasul Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam ordered the Amirul Mukminins deserve such admiration, love and respect as what the Islamic Republic of Iran shows by his admirable exemplary example as reported below here:

~~~@~~~
The FoxNewsTV (USA) asked the Iranian President Ahmedinejad,
'When you look into the mirror in the morning what do you say to yourself'?
He answered: I see the person in the mirror and tell him 'Remember' you are no more than a small servant, ahead of you today is the heavy responsibility, and that is to serve the Iranian nation'.
Ahmedinejad, the Iranian President who astonished many when he first reached to the office of the Presidency by donating all the high valued Iranian carpets to one of the mosques in Tehran by replacing them with the low cost ordinary carpets.
He observed that there was a huge extravagant lounge for receiving and welcoming the VIPs and he ordered it to be closed and asked the protocol office to arrange for an ordinary room only with wooden chairs.
On many instances he joins the cleaning staff of the municipality for cleaning the streets in the area where his home and the Presidency are located.
Under his authority whenever he appoints any minister to his post he gets a signed document from him with many points particularly highlighting that he shall remain poor and that his personal and his relatives accounts will be watched and the day he leaves the ministry shall be with dignity, and therefore it is not lawful for him or his relatives to take any advantage of his office.
First of all he declared himself for all the 'Big' wealth and the property he owned was a Peugeot 504 car, model 1977, an old small house inherited from his father 40-years ago in one of the poorest zones in Tehran . His accounts with a zero balance and the only money comes in to his a/c was from his salary from the university as a lecturer with an amount of US$ 250 only.
Sitting cross legged on the floor with his humble family.
For your information the President still lives in that same house.
This is all that he owns; the President of Iran, one of the world's important countries; strategically, economically, politically and with regard to its oil and defense.
He doesn't
even take his personal salary with the argument that all the wealth belongs to the Iranian nation and that he is to safeguard it.
One of the things that impresses the staff at the Presidency is the bag which the President brings with him every day. It contains his breakfast; some sandwiches or bread with olive oil and cheese prepared by his wife and which he eats and enjoys them with much happiness.
Here is a photo of his dining room where the president is busy eating his simple meal.
One of the other things he changed was his personal carrier 'the President's Aircraft' to a cargo aircraft in order to save the spending from the public treasury and he ordered that he will be flying with the ordinary airline in the economy class.
He organizes meetings every now and then with all the ministers to know their activities and efficiency and he closed down the office of the Manager of the President and any minister can enter his office without permission.
He stopped welcoming ceremonies like using red carpets, photo sessions or any form of personal congratulatory advertisements or respect of any kind to be shown to him while he visits any of the places in the country.
Whenever he has to stay in any of the hotels he asks them to make sure not to give him a room with any big bed because he doesn't like to sleep on beds but rather likes to sleep on the floor upon a simple mattress with just a blanket.
The Iranian president is shown above sleeping in the guest room of his house after getting away from his special guards who follow him wherever he goes and photo is taken by his small brother according to the Wifaq Newspaper which published this photo and the next day the photo was published in most of the world's newspapers and magazines and particularly the Americans.
During the prayer you can see that he is not sitting in the first row.
Here's an article explaining the truth about what President Ahmedinejad actually said with regard to the matter of the Zionist regime of Israel?
Ahmedinejad Misquoted, Mistranslated by Ahmed Ismail Ibrahim.
Across the world, rumor has it that Iran`s President has threatened to destroy Israel.
A rumor that could, obviously, have catastrophic implications. They say President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad, to quote the misquote, said,“Israel Must Be Wiped Off The Map.
This statement was never made as the following analysis will prove.
Background
On Tuesday, October 25th, 2005, at the Ministry of Interior conference hall in Tehran, the whole thing happened.
Before we get to the infamous remark we should all know that the “quote” in question was a quote of Ayatollah Khomeini, the father of the Islamic Revolution.
Although he quoted what Ayatollah previously said to affirm his own position on Zionism, the actual words belong to Ayatollah and not Ahmedinejad. A quote which was not just unoriginal but also represents a viewpoint of a late person.
The Actual Quote
So what did Ahmedinejad exactly say? Here is a quote of what he exactly said in Farsi:
“Imam ghoft een rezhim-e ishghalgar-e qods bayad az safheh-ye ruzgar mahv shavad.”
The word “rezhim-e” means Regime.
In the Farsi quote, it is noticed that Ahmedinejad did not even mention the word “Israel”. He meant the Israeli regime. Actually what he said was,”rezhim-e ishghalgar-e qods” (regime occupying Jerusalem).
This actually raises an important question. What did Ahmedinejad want to wipe off the map?
The answer: Nothing. That is because the word “map” was never even used. The Persian word for map, “nagsheh”, is not contained anywhere in his original farsi quote, or, for that matter, anywhere in his entire speech. Nor was the western phrase “wipe out” ever said. Yet we are led to believe that Iran’s President threatened to “wipe Israel off the map”, despite never having uttered the words “map”, “wipe out” or even “Israel”.
The Proof
The full quote translated directly to English:
“The Imam said this regime occupying Jerusalem must vanish from the page of time”.
Word by word translation:
Imam (Khomeini) ghoft (said) een (this) rezhim-e (regime) ishghalgar-e (occupying) qods (Jerusalem) bayad (must) az safheh-ye ruzgar (from page of time) mahv shavad (vanish from).
Actually, the western media focused on a part of the a whole sentence. They cut the sentence to achieve their goals. (manipulating words)
Ahmedinejad actually said,“The Imam said this regime occupying Jerusalem must vanish from the page of time. This statement is very wise”.
This is the passage that has been isolated, twisted and distorted. By measure of comparison, Ahmadinejad would seem to be calling for regime change, not war.
The Origin
What stroke me most is when I found out that it was not the western media that twisted and mistranslated the quote.
It was The Islamic Republic News Agency, Iran’s official propaganda arm, that used this phrasing in the English version of some of their news releases covering the World Without Zionism conference.
And of course all international media used this to make great copy, without even trying to verify what was actually said? I do not blame those international media. The news was coming out of Iran itself.
Iran`s Foreign Minister tried afterwards to clarify the statement but what is done is done. Nothing would change what has been said.
Nobody can blame Iran. The one to blame is the one who mistranslated this statement and I think that punishment should be considered because this is an unremovable stain.
It should be noted that in other references to the conference, the IRNA’s translation changed. For instance, “map” was replaced with “earth”. In some articles it was “The Qods occupier regime should be eliminated from the surface of earth”, or the similar “The Qods occupying regime must be eliminated from the surface of earth”. The inconsistency of the IRNA’s translation should be evidence enough of the unreliability of the source, particularly when transcribing their news from Farsi into the English language.
Media used this awfully. Unfortuantely media is misleading when it comes to this statement. Even after the truth was found out, media still uses this mistranslated statement every now and then.
Here is an example:
On December 13, 2006, more than a year after The World Without Zionism conference, two leading Israeli newspapers, The Jerusalem Post and Haaretz, published reports of a renewed threat from Ahmadinejad.
The Jerusalem Post’s headline was Ahmadinejad: Israel will be ‘wiped out’, while Haaretz posted the title: Ahmadinejad at Holocaust conference: Israel will soon be wiped off
Here's a video showing President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad speaking to his Iranian people about his trip to New York, USA and what transpired between him and the American officials there?
Bear in mind that the translations here are by MEMRI TV, a proven to be biased media organisation that has always been painting the distorted picture about Islamic leaders and I do hope that any true Persian @ Iranian national can confirm to us here as to whether the translations of President Ahmedinejad's speech here is correct and not distorted? Insya Allah!
Have a blessed Jumaat people!
