Biar ummah hancur ; janji kita dapat kuasai negara?

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

Saya merujuk kepada 'perang saudara' yang sedang berlangsung sejak sekian lama didalam negara kita ini di antara dua parti politik terbesar umat Islam Malaysia iaitu UMNO dan PAS.

Di kedua dua belah pihak parti politik yang rata rata ahlinya terdiri daripada majoriti kaum berbangsa Melayu beragama Islam dan sebilangan kecil bangsa bangsa lain seperti India, Cina, dan sebagainya ujud satu perasaan hasad dan dengki mencemburui pencapaian politik satu sama lain.

Yang menjadi penghalang utama kedua parti politik ini bergabung adalah rasa takbur dan ego tahap melampau.

Ego mendabik dada bahawa parti sekian lah yang lebih Islam dari yang lain tetapi di waktu yang sama kedua dua parti gagal menegakkan Syariah Allah didalam ertikata dan pengamalan yang sebenar!

UMNO sejak sekian lama masih gagal menegakkan Undang Undang Syariah Islam sebenar padahal bila kita kaji betul betul, ternyata mereka mampu berbuat demikian jika benar benar mereka ikhlas mahu melihat Islam didalam negara kita dipandang mulia dan disegani oleh baik sesama Islam mahupun rakyat kita yang masih kafir.

Kuasa yang ada pada tangan Sultan Sultan dan Raja Melayu walaupun terhad masih merangkumi keupayaan menegakkan Hukum Hakam Islam selengkapnya tetapi sayangnya masih diperingkat bayang bayang dan tidak ditegakkan menurut perintah Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala dan menurut tuntutan Sunnah Rasulullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam.

Kita semua tahu bahawa Hukum Syariah didalam negara kita ini tidak mencapai piawaian Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala didalam ertikata sebenar benarnya.

Mahkamah Tinggi Syariah kita masih terbelenggu dengan seribu satu kerenah birokrasi dan tidak mempunyai kuasa untuk menghukum pesalah pesalah jenayah Syariah mengikut hukum Hudud Allah.

Nak jalankan hukum sebat 6 kali sebatan ke atas Kartika Sari Dewi Shukarnor pun sampai sekarang masih terkial kial bagaikan kura kura patah kaki!

Macamana pihak kafir dinegara ini nak segan terhadap para penguasa di Malaysia yang kononnya mahu menerapkan nilai nilai murni Islam ke atas rakyat amnya?

Bila orang yang mengaku berkuasa ke atas kita memberi seribu satu alasan tidak mampu untuk menjalankan Syariah Allah keatas penduduk negara kita yang kononnya salah sebuah negara Islam termaju didalam dunia ini, siapa yang boleh kita harapkan lagi?

Begitu juga dengan PAS.

Kerajaan Negeri Kelantan Darul Naim yang digembar gemburkan sebagai 'Serambi Makkah' juga sampai kehari ini gagal menegakkan Syariah Allah walaupun sudah memerintah negeri dimana penduduknya bermajoriti Melayu Islam sejak 1990.

Kesemua ini dikatakan tertakluk kepada kuasa Parlimen dimana memerlukan undi majoriti untuk meluluskan sebarang pindaan terhadap Undang undang Tubuh Negeri untuk menukar sistem perlembagaan dari sekular kepada yang berlandaskan Syariah Islam.

Memang dah begitu cara penjajah British dahulu merangka dan memaksa keatas Sultan sultan dan Raja Melayu sekiranya mahu merdeka dari penjajahan mereka.

Soalan saya sekarang, apakah tidak ada ruang dan cara untuk negara ini yang kononnya sudah benar benar Merdeka untuk merdekakan diri didalam ertikata sebenar benarnya dan kembali menegakkan Hukum Kanun Melaka yang berlandaskan Syariah Allah?

Kes bunuh amah ~ Jangan biarkan pembunuhnya dipenjara!

Peniaga air tebu didakwa

A. Murugan dihadapkan ke Mahkamah Majistret Klang, semalam untuk didakwa atas tuduhan menyebabkan kematian pembantu rumahnya, Mantik Hani warga Indonesia. – utusan/Saharuddin Abdullah

KLANG 30 Okt. – Empat hari selepas Mantik Hani meninggal dunia dipercayai angkara perbuatan keji majikannya, seorang penjual air tebu hari ini dihadapkan ke Mahkamah Majistret di sini atas tuduhan membunuh pembantu rumah warga Indonesia itu.

A. Murugan, 35, didakwa membunuh wanita berusia 36 tahun itu di rumahnya di No. 11, Jalan Datuk Yusof Shahbudin 6, Taman Sentosa di sini di antara 18 dan 20 Oktober lalu.

Pertuduhan terhadapnya mengikut Seksyen 302 Kanun Keseksaan yang memperuntukkan hukuman mati mandatori jika sabit kesalahan.

Tiada pengakuan direkodkan daripada majikan lelaki mangsa itu selepas pertuduhan dibacakan di hadapan Majistret Afifah Mamat @ Yusof.

Pendakwaan terhadapnya dikemukakan Timbalan Pendakwa Raya, Manoj Kurup manakala peniaga terbabit tidak diwakili peguam bela.

Manoj memohon supaya kes tersebut dipindahkan segera ke Mahkamah Tinggi atas alasan kes itu menarik perhatian umum.

Permohonan itu dibenarkan oleh Afifah yang menetapkan 3 November ini untuk sebutan semula kes di Mahkamah Tinggi Shah Alam bagi membolehkan pengakuan tertuduh direkodkan.

Isteri dan ibu Murugan yang sebelum ini turut ditahan reman tidak didakwa di mahkamah selepas dibebaskan oleh pihak polis.

Mantik yang berasal dari Surabaya meninggal dunia di Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah di sini, pada pukul 10 pagi, 26 Oktober lalu setelah gagal bertindak balas terhadap rawatan yang diberikan kerana terlalu lemah.

Ketika diselamatkan dari rumah majikannya, pada 21 Oktober lalu, pembantu rumah terbabit berada dalam keadaan 'nyawa-nyawa ikan' dan dikurung dalam tandas, kepala dicukur hampir botak dan tidak diberi makan beberapa hari oleh majikannya.

Wanita itu diselamatkan pihak polis selepas seorang tukang sapu yang bertugas membersihkan kediaman rumah suspek membuat laporan polis bersama peguam, Gerald Lazarus.

Semasa diselamatkan, terdapat kesan kecederaan teruk di beberapa bahagian badan mangsa termasuk luka hampir lima sentimeter sehingga menampakkan tulang pada kakinya.

Selain itu, mangsa mengalami kecederaan pada tangan kiri termasuk bengkak pada bahagian muka, dipercayai dipukul dengan objek keras.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kuala Terengganu. Sabtu 31hb Oktober 2009.
Setiap kali saya mendengar tentang kes kes pembantu rumah yang didera dan dicederakan oleh majikan majikan mereka seperti didalam kes di atas ini, hati saya terasa sakit dan amarah saya akan meluap.
Bukannya apa.
Manusia di akhir zaman ini rata rata sudah hilang sifat kasihsayang dan pertimbangan akal. Tidak boleh kita diamkan sahaja penderaan dan pembunuhan seperti kes di atas!
Ingat lagi tak kes penderaan ke atas Nirmala Bonat oleh majikan nya Yee Pek Har? Ia diseterika payudaranya, diketuk kepalanya dengan kole keluli, dipukul sampai cedera seluruh badan!
Apa yang dihukumkan keatas Yee Pek Har?
Sekadar penjara!
Sepatutnya sipendera itu dihukum sebat tanpa mengambil kira bahawa ianya seorang wanita! Bilamana wanita itu boleh mencederakan orang lain maka tidak ada bezanya diantara ia dengan seorang lelaki.
Patut dikenakan hukum Qisas. Cedera dibalas hukuman setimpal. Bunuh dibalas dengan hukuman bunuh juga! Tak payah dok penjara lama lama!
Tidak patut dibiarkan majikan bersifat syaitan seperti ini dipenjarakan sahaja.
Ianya perlu dihukum sebat sivil iaitu sebat untuk mendatangkan cedera dan sakit sama seperti yang ia lakukan tanpa belas kasihan kemudian nya ia wajib dihukum gantung sampai mati!
Ini baru dikatakan adil dan saksama!
Setakat nak penjara, kemudian nak kena keluar belanja menjaga ia dipenjara, diberi makan minum dan pakaian serta rawatan kesihatan akan diibaratkan sebagai membela penjenayah kejam seperti si Murugan ini.
Hutang nyawa dibayar nyawa juga!
Jangan biarkan ia dipenjara! Sebat dan gantung sampai mati.
Tegakkan keadilan untuk Allahyarhamah Mantik Hani.
Baru ruhnya akan tenteram.
Gambar2 Kenangan di Majlis Dailog Bloggers ~ Datuk Dr Hassan Ali.
Alhamdulillah!
Akhirnya sampai juga emel kiriman Neutral Daily mengandungi gambar gambar yang mereka ambil tempohari dimajlis dailog yang kini digembar gembur seribu satu andaian pihak pihak yang tidak hadir dan dianyam segala macam kontroversi.
Bagi saya ianya merupakan satu pendedahan kepada kepelbagaian ragam dan kerenah manusia sesama Islam dan juga seperanan sebagai penulis penulis atau penerbit blog.
Saya bersyukur kepada Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala di atas tidak melatahnya diri saya ini atau terturut nafsu melihat kelaku manusia di alam siber ini dan mengambil sikap tunggu dan lihat.
Alhamdulillah. Ianya membuka mata saya akan sikap manusia di dunia blog politik tempatan ini dan sedikit sebanyak mengajar saya supaya lebih berwaspada bilamana pertama kali bertemu muka dan berkenalan sesama 'blogger'.
Muqadimahnya memang bagus sekali bilamana bersua kali pertama dan bersalam salaman serta berkenal mesra, bertukar peluk dan menjalin ikatan silaturahim semasa bersama.
Namun, didalam peredaran masa dan membaca rumusan atau 'post mortem' pertemuan bloggers di majlis dailog bersama pemimpin PAS Selangor serta PAS Pusat, saya mendapati bahawa ada juga insan insan blogger ini yang pepat diluar ; rencung didalam.
Sungguh tak kusangka. Namun saya bersyukur bahawa sekurang kurangnya saya kini telah belajar seperingkat yang baru didalam perhubungan sesama manusia apatah lagi sesama blogger yang beridentiti Muslim Melayu Malaysia.
Walau bagaimanapun, biarlah segala badai dan ribut taufan hasil prasangka manusia ini berlalu ditelan dedaun masa dan patut saya serta rakan taulan yang hadir ke majlis itu jadikan sebagai iktibar dan panduan hidup kami selaku Bloggers mewakili Perikatan Penulis Blog Muslim @ The Muslim Bloggers Alliance. Insya Allah.
Rahsia kenapa ADUN dan MP PAS tak lompat parti?
Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
Baru baru ini saya dijemput Ketua Penerangan PAS Selangor Saudara Roslan Shahir Mohd Shahir @ Roslan SMS untuk menghadiri majlis dailog ulung kali Pesuruhjaya PAS Selangor Dato' Dr.Hassan bin Haji Ali bertempat dikediaman beliau berdepan Masjid Al Ghufran d Pinggir Taman Tun Dr.Ismail.
Turut hadir bersama saya pada malam itu adalah Saudara Akhramsyah Muammar Ubaidah Sanusi, seorang ahli Muslim Bloggers Alliance.
Saya lah yang memanjangkan jemputan kepada beliau diatas permintaan Saudara Roslan SMS untuk saya menjemput sama ahli ahli MBA.
Tidak timbul soal bahawa Akhramsyah adalah Ketua Pemuda Cawangan UMNO Bendang Baru, Pulau Langkawi, Kedah Darul Aman.
Bukannya Roslan SMS atau Dato Dr Hassan Ali yang menjemput Akhramsyah secara terus.
Mereka tidak bersalah diatas jemputan itu. Harap jelas tentang perkara ini. Takkan Dato Dr Hassan Ali atau Roslan SMS nak menghalau tetamu blogger yang hadir? Jemputan terbuka!
Maka kena lah terima siapa sahaja yang hadir.
Sebenarnya saya telah menjemput ramai bloggers lain seperti :
  • Rockybru tengah demam selesema - tak dapat datang ~ kirim salam kpd Dato Dr Hassan Ali.
  • Sang Kelembai sms janji nak datang ~ tak hadir akhirnya.
  • Voice ~ jawab sms dan telefon kata tak dapat hadir.
  • Yusri Mohamad ~ tak jawab sms.
  • Azril Mohd Amin ~ sms kata tak dapat datang - ada urusan lain.
  • Dato Kamal Amir ~ sms kata mungkin hadir - tak dapat juga.
  • Zulkifli Noordin ~ jawab telefon kata mungkin datang tapi tak dapat juga.
  • Sis Zabrina ~ jawab telefon kata teringin nak hadir tapi dah ada program lain.
  • Syawal Yaacob ~ tak respon langsung!
  • GOMO ~ tak hadir tetapi telah memanjangkan jemputan saya itu kepada kenalan beliau - 2 orang dari Neutral Daily. Saya terima permintaan mereka untuk hadir setelah mereka menelefon saya dan meminta izin untuk bersama dimajlis dailog tersebut. Roslan SMS dan Dato' Dr Hassan Ali tidak tahu langsong tentang tamu 'bidan terjun' ini. Harap semua faham akan perkara ini. Terimakasih. *
  • Parpukari ~ tak jawab sms langsong dan tak hadir.
Mungkin jika kesekelian mereka yang saya jemput hadir, perang dunia ketiga blogosfera politik Malaysia akan tercetus gamaknya?
Ada hikmah tu!
Sekali yang sanggup datang Saudara Akhramsyah Muammar Ubaidah Sanusi sudah cukup untuk meletuskan debat kontroversi didunia blog politik tempatan terutamanya dikalangan mereka yang Ustaz Nik Mohamad Abduh bin Tuan Guru Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz perikan didalam tulisan beliau disini!
Gegak gempita jadinya bilamana pihak pihak ketiga yang sebenarnya tidak hadir membuat pelbagai macam andaian dan berperang mulut menyatakan itu dan ini tanpa mengetahui apa sebenarnya yang dibincang dan dibualkan didalam majlis dailog itu?
Sebenarnya tuan rumah @ Dato Dr Hassan Hj Ali telah meminta supaya kami yang hadir dimalam itu memegang amanahnya supaya tidak menghebahkan kepada umum akan isi kandungan beberapa perkara sulit yang beliau terpaksa ceritakan kepada kami akan usaha pihak pihak tertentu didalam pentadbiran kerajaan negeri untuk mengujudkan beberapa daerah dinegeri Selangor Darul Ehsan dimana ada perancangan yang bertentangan dengan ajaran Ad Deenullah.
Beliau adalah satu satunya penghalang kepada cita cita pihak pihak begitu dan tujuan beliau mendedahkan kepada kami yang hadir malam itu hanyalah supaya pihak penulis blog seperti kami faham akan apa sebenarnya kedudukan suara Islam didalam kerajaan negeri dimana beliau memikul tanggungjawab memantau akan segala perkara itu.
Seboleh mungkin saya tidak mahu melanggar amanah yang beliau letakkan pada kami tetapi ada satu perkara yang mengejutkan saya dan juga para bloggers yang hadir pada malam itu!
Hanya benda ini saya nak kongsi dengan anda pembaca budiman.
Ini pun setelah saya menelefon meminta pengesahan akan perkara ini dari salah seorang pemimpin tertinggi PAS yang merupakan sahabat saya.
Saya juga telah mendapat izin pemimpin PAS Pusat ini untuk menceritakan perkara ini didalam blog saya ini.
Ianya adalah tentang kebenaran bahawa barangsiapa sahaja calon pilihanraya PAS yang dipilih untuk bertanding didalam Pilihanraya Kecil atau Pilihanraya Umum samada untuk jawatan ADUN atau Ahli Parlimen dibawah tiket PAS, maka mereka terlebih dahulu diwajibkan menandatangani ikrar lafaz taklik akan menceraikan isteri jatuh talak tiga SEANDAINYA mereka setelah menang pilihanraya tersebut mengelat mengkhianati PAS dan lompat ke parti lawan!
Ini adalah diantara perkara yang didedahkan oleh pimpinan PAS dimajlis dailog itu.
Memang saya tidak menyangka sama sekali bahawa adanya peraturan seperti itu diwajibkan oleh PAS!
Memang brutal tetapi ternyata amat berkesan sekali!!!
Ibrahim Ali memang tak ada peluang le nak masuk PAS sampai bila bila! Hehehehe...
Hebat sungguh strategi PAS ini.
Saya rasa memang perkara ini akan dikaji oleh kesekelian parti politik dunia selepas pendedahan ini untuk memaksa dan memastikan tak adanya wakil wakil mereka yang berani nak belot selepas menang!
Walaupun untuk mengisytiharkan diri sebagai calon bebas!
Saya memang bersetuju dengan cara ini!
Kamu lompat parti?
Tertalak tiga lah kamu dari isteri kamu!
( Ikut hukum Islam memang tak elok tetapi dah begini cara sisayah duniawi manusia manusia yang kemaruk berpolitik! Nak buat macamana?)
Saya kurang pasti akan peruntukan untuk calon wanita?
Minta cerai fasakh dari suami masing masing, kot? Na'uzubillahiminzalik! :(
Teringat saya akan pengkhianatan 3 wakil rakyat di Perak tempohari!
Saya memang tak setuju cara mereka mengkhianati parti masing masing.
2 ADUN PKR dan seorang ADUN DAP!
Sepatutnya mereka dipecat dari jawatan masing masing dan pilihanraya negeri di adakan di Negeri Perak Darul Ridzuan.
Itu baru adil namanya.
Ini tidak! Sampai ke hari ini masih ada keadaan huru hara akibat kerajaan mi segera disana!
Tetapi inilah satu satunya perkara yang paling mengejutkan saya dimalam majlis dailog Dato Dr Hassan Ali dan YB Ustaz Nasharudin Mat Isa, Timbalan Presiden PAS dengan kami, bloggers yang hadir. Tentang kewajipan lafaz cerai taklik ini! Menggerunkan sekali!
Saya ada rakaman audio lengkap pada majlis itu tetapi masih menunggu lampu hijau dari Roslan SMS dan Dato Dr Hassan Ali untuk menyiarkannya di akaun Youtube saya.
Mereka termasuk seorang sahabat saya yang merupakan diantara pimpinan tertinggi PAS memohon saya agar jangan menyiarkan rakaman tersebut buat masa ini.
Kita tengok sahaja apa yang akan berlaku selepas ini.
Bawa bersabar didalam menangani masaalah masaalah yang timbul dan lebihkan fikir dan zikir dari melatah mengikut nafsu dan terlibat dengan adu domba serta kata mengata.
Tak elok untuk kita semua.
Dosa dosa kita yang sedia ada pun tak tertanggung ; sanggupkah kita menambah beban di pundak kepala masing masing?
Bawa bertenang sebagai umat Islam dan pertimbangkan kebenaran sesuatu perkara sebelum berkata apa apa, Insya Allah.
Nak meruntuhkan perpaduan ummah tu senang saja ; nak membina ukhuwwah Islamiyyah tu yang agak payah.
Fikir fikir lah kata kata saya ini wahai saudara saudariku yang tercinta. :)
Semoga Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala membimbing kita semua, Insya Allah!
Wabillahi Taufik Wal Hidayah.
Wassalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
* Blogger Neutral Daily baru saja menelefon saya menyatakan bahawa mereka tidak mewakili GOMO semasa datang ke majlis dailog tersebut. Mereka mendapat tahu tentang jemputan saya itu melalui GOMO dan teringin untuk bersama dengan saya serta jemputan yang lain. Harap maklum.
** Untuk membaca satu pandangan bernas yang membincangkan implikasi lafaz taklik secara paksa ke atas calon calon pilihanraya PAS sila layari laman blog Cekati Tembaga disini.
Child Abuse in Malaysia
The nationwide shock, anger and outrage over Nurin's brutal rape, sodomy and murder seems to have dissipated into the black holes of the mass media and cyberspace.
Whoever snuffed out the life of the poor unfortunate child are still at large due to the inefficiency we have within the law enforcement agencies of this country.
There are other cases of missing children in our nation whose files must be either gathering dust on the 'Investigating Officer's desks or probably getting misplaced out of their stonewalling of links and clues to 'solving' such cases.
The reality that we are not doing enough to save our children and young adults being abused out there smacks us across our souls until another dead body turns up in any city dumpster or undergrowth out there.
What are the Malaysian authorities doing about these cases?
In reality, this is a global problem resulting from society's apathy towards such wanton crimes against women and children everywhere.
No country is free from it whether the so called Muslim nations or in the lands of the Kuffar!
We need to stop this!
Uphold the Hudud!
No if's or buts about it!
The Comfortable Niqabi ~ Dispelling the fitnah of the Kuffars! ( Updated )
59. Ya ayyuha alnnabiyyu qul li-azwajika wabanatika wanisa-i almu/mineena yudneena AAalayhinna min jalabeebihinna thalika adna an yuAArafna fala yu/thayna wakana Allahu ghafooran raheeman
59. O Prophet! Tell thy wives and daughters, and the believing women, that they should cast their outer garments over their persons (when abroad): that is most convenient, that they should be known (as such) and not molested. And Allah is Oft- Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Surah Al Ahzab (Chapter 33 Verse 59) Holy Al Quranul Karim.
Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
In Islam, the status of the mother is raised to be nobler than the father three times over.
This honoring of the believing womenfolk in Islam came to be when women were mistreated and abused in the Age of Jahiliyyah @ Ignorance.
There are those amongst the Kuffars of today who claim that Islam oppresses its women.
This interview dispels just such a preposterous claim.
In this Age of Fitnah @ Trials, we see the status of womenfolk all around the world be reduced to nothing more than mere objects of pleasure by the so called 'civilizations' of the liberal West and now the scourge is fast spreading throughout Asia as well.
Whether one likes it or not, this growing disrespect for the chastity and honor of the womenfolk of the world stems from the way people have slowly but surely discarded all known norms of modesty in their life's.
It started when mankind started to sort of get fed up with the way, society dressed. From being all enclosed, gradually the tendencies of mankind to go one up from the rest of the social establishment resulted in adopting 'modern' forms of liberalizing themselves from the strict protocols of established society.
Those who have researched about the changing times and evolution of the way womenfolk in the West first dressed conservatively back in the olden days will surely see that as mankind is said to have progressed, the attire of their womenfolk started to change with the fashions of the said modern ways as well.
To be continued.
Muslim Reporters Uncover British Racism
Image
"I haven't faced as much racism in my life as I have during these eight weeks," Rahman said. (BBC)
LONDON — Going undercover as an Asian husband and wife, two British Muslim reporters have documented the scale of resurgent racism and abuse, both verbal and physical, in the British city of Bristol, filming themselves while being bullied, attacked and racially-abused.
"From the moment that my colleague Amil Khan and I drove onto the road that would become our home for the coming months, we were subjected to the coldest glare I have ever experienced," said Tamanna Rahman, a reporter of Asian origins.
Rahman and Khan, posing as an Asian husband and wife, moved on to an estate in Bristol earlier this year and used hidden cameras to record people attitude towards them.
During their eight-week stay, they recorded more than 50 separate incidents of racist attacks, both for their race and their religion.
"I haven't faced as much racism in my life as I have during these eight weeks," said Rahman.
"Over the course of our investigation I would have glass, a can, a bottle and stones thrown at me,” she added.
"On my second day on the estate I had a rock thrown towards me as I returned from a shopping trip.”
In one scene, stones are thrown at Rahman and she is told to get out of the area.
A young boy has also threatened to kill her and tried to steal her purse.
Another clips showed her being called “Raghead” and being told “Go away. Iraq’s that way.”
"I was called "Paki" and had obscenities muttered at me as I walked by."
The word "Paki" is derogatory slang for an immigrant or descendant of Pakistani background.
"I just didn't think humans could be like that," Rahman said.
Britain has a sizable Muslim minority of more than two millions, mostly of Pakistani, Bengali and Indian origins.
Hellish
Tamanna spoke about the painful adventure she had to endure in Bristol.
"Pretty much every time I left the house, and from many people I met, I would get frowns and generally be made to feel unwelcome- whether they were on the street, in their gardens, looking out of their bedroom windows or in their cars."
She said the abuse experience ranged from physical attack to muttered insults.
”I’m sorry the thing that is going to stay with me the most is the absolutely hellish time I have every time I’ve walked out of the door.”
Bristol is England's sixth and the United Kingdom's eighth most populous city.
It is the largest centre of culture, employment and education in the region.
In the 2001 Census, 60 percent of Bristol's population said they were Christian, and 25 percent stated they were not religious.
Islam accounts for 2 percent of the population and the Muslim community is served by at least three mosques.
Britain’s ethnic minorities are racked by the pain of racism with an estimated 87,000 members of ethnic minorities being a victim of racially motivated crimes.
Figures also show that ethnic minorities have the worst unemployment and housing crises in the country.
Some 70 percent of all ethnic minorities live in the 88 most deprived areas, compared to 40 percent of the general population.
Assalamualaikum dear Muslimin and Muslimats.
There are many who out of their personal circumstances are forced to emigrate to UK, Europe USA, Australia and New Zealand to start either a new life permanently there or as an interim period in their lives.
What we see being exposed by IslamOnline.net is not something that the global media would bother to highlight for reasons that we all know would show just how hypocritical these so called champions of human rights proclaiming nations really are?
Muslims living in the lands of the Kuffar ought to know that the spawn of Iblis Laknatullah will never allow them to live in peace and they should either make a hijrah to the Islamic nations best suited to accommodate them or be in Muslim friendly or majority areas.
Rising Islamophobia is the cause of all this hatred that is wreaking havoc in the UK right now!
Listen to the no nonsense British MP George Galloway try to talk sense into an Englishwoman who wants all Non English to get the hell out of her country:
I guess its tough to be Muslim in the UK right now. No wonder that British Muslims are now getting more defensive and toughening themselves up to face the hatemongers and the racist British Nationalist Party!
May Allah protect those of you living there amongst the bloody racists!
Keris dan Lambang lambang Warisan Melayu - Usah biarkan ia dimuziumkan!
Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
Tuan tuan dan puan puan, warganegara tanahair ini yang saya hormati.
Saya ingin merujuk kepada nasib persenjataan Melayu yakni Keris yang kini bagaikan dipalit dengan satu stigma mengaitkan senjata warisan kebudayaan Melayu zaman berzaman ini dengan keganasan.
Ianya kini seolah menjadi satu bahan larangan didalam kehidupan masyarakat di Tanah Melayu ini.
Sumber gambar.
Semuanya ini berbangkit dari ketakutan yang ditimbulkan oleh mereka yang bersikap bertentangan dengan segalanya yang melambangkan jatidiri dan kebudayaan Melayu itu sendiri.
Bermula dari tentangan terhadap pemakaian songkok oleh ahli ahli parlimen dan dewan perundangan negeri bukan Melayu sehingga kepada kontroversi yang dicetuskan oleh Lim Kit Siang membantah penghunusan keris Panca Warisan oleh Ketua Pemuda UMNO sebelum ini Datuk Seri Hishamudin Tun Hussein Onn semasa Mesyuarat Agung UMNO dahulu.
Keris adalah lambang identiti peradaban dan simbol keperwiraan orang orang Melayu sejak zaman berzaman.
Sumber gambar.
Tidak kan ujud jatidiri seorang Melayu tanpa keris dipinggangnya pada zaman Melayu itu tertegak di rantau Nusantara.
Cuba tuan tuan dan puan puan budiman baca apa pendapat dan hasil kajian sekumpulan penyelidik Melayu yang menerbitkan takrif 'Falsafah disebalik Keris Melayu ini dilaman web ini.
Falsafah disebalik Keris Melayu
Entah lah tuan tuan dan puan puan sewarganegara dengan saya ini, saya musykil kenapa sampai begitu lemah dan lesu sekali orang orang Melayu sekarang ini untuk bangun mempertahankan jatidiri mereka dan juga untuk menjelaskan kedudukan perkara sebenar tentang ertikata dan kedudukan Keris Melayu didalam kehidupan mereka?
Apakah sudah kurang dikalangan Melayu yang tahu menghargai warisan keturunan mereka? Apakah Melayu sudah benar benar lupa akan apakah dia sejarah dan warisan kebudayaan mereka?
Siapakah lagi yang akan tampil kemuka mempertahankan salah satu simbol keujudan Melayu dimuka bumi ini?
Nak harap siapa?
Cuba kabarkan pada saya.
Mamak? China? India? Benggali? Mat Salleh? Mat Bangladesh? Mat Nepal? Hero Seberang? {Ada yang terasa jika saya gelarkan mereka sebagai Mat Indon padahal dah memang negara mereka bernama Indonesia!}
Mahu tak mahu orang orang Melayu kenalah sadar diri bahawa jika tidak mereka menjaga maruah dan kehormatan warisan kebudayaan mereka sendiri maka jangan dok harap le puak puak macam Lim Kit Siang, Lim Guan Eng, Karpal Singh, segala tok nenek anti Melayu nak terpa kemari menjaga keunggulan kebudayaan warisan mereka!
Melayu yang dah lupa diri, malu nak mengaku Melayu, mengecat rambut jadi kuning ~ perasan diri sebagai Mat Salleh, melekapkan kanta warna biru ke mata, mana nak perasan segala benda ni?
Hai lah keris!
Nasib le terbiar sepi, berkumpul habuk dan debu di muzium muzium negeri dan negara.
Bila dihunus dek mantan Ketua Pemuda UMNO tempohari, terkejut berok segala pembenci mu!
Bertempik terlolong kehulu kehilir menyuarakan kebimbangan mereka akan dirodok dek Keris Panca Warisan, terburai keluar segala isi perut akibat mati tertusuk dek amukan cucu Datok Onn Jaafar!!!
Gelihati saya memikirkan lawak sandiwara radio ini!
Cuba kita semak dan kaji selidik sedikit?
Sudah berapa ramai bukan Melayu mahu pun Melayu sendiri yang dah mati tertikam keris sejak ianya menjadi lambang pertubuhan parti politik Melayu?
Ada tak siapa siapa pembaca budiman yang ada maklumat statistik jenayah pembunuhan menggunakan senjata tradisional Melayu yakni keris?
Jika ada saya pohon kirimkan kepada saya disini supaya boleh kita buat perbandingan dengan jenis jenis senjata lain yang lazim digunakan untuk menetak, menikam, mencincang mangsa mangsa kes bunuh didalam Semenanjung Tanah Melayu ini?
Bukannya apa?
Sakit hati benar jiwa hamba ini bila memikirkan akan betapa jumud dan terkongkongnya minda minda pembenci warisan Melayu ini cuba menimbulkan satu keadaan panik dikalangan warganegara kita yang bukan Melayu bahawa puak puak pejuang Melayu seperti didalam UMNO dah kemaruk nak menikam, membunuh, menghapuskan mana mana rakyat Malaysia yang bukan berketurunan Melayu?
Saya singgah bertanya pada anggota polis yang bertugas di pondok polis Ampang Point sepanjang tempoh mereka telah bertugas sebagai polis, dah berapa kes bunuh menggunakan keris yang telah mereka kendali?
Ada 3 pegawai polis disitu. 2 orang telah bertugas selama 5 tahun dan seorang koperal selama 8 tahun.
Ketiga tiga mereka menyatakan tidak pernah lagi menghadapi kes bunuh guna keris Melayu!
Saya berterimakasih kepada mereka dan bertanya pendapat mereka akan penggunaan dan pemakaian keris oleh orang orang Melayu?
Apakah mereka bersetuju bahawa keris itu adalah sebahagian kelengkapan lelaki Melayu?
Mereka semua bersetuju tetapi berkata bahawa ada undang undang yang menyekat mana mana lelaki Melayu atau bangsa lain menyisipkan keris dipinggang dan berada dikhalayak ramai.
Ini undang undang siapa?
Almaklum sajalah! Siapa lagi jika tidak penjajah British dan Jepun! Takut Melayu mengamuk!:P
Mana buktinya wahai Kit Siang, Karpal dan Guan Eng akan tuduhan tuduhan melampau kamu itu bahawa sudah terancam nyawa kaum kaum bukan Melayu disini?
Lupa Diri
Namun saya tidak persalahkan seratus peratus akan polemik yang ditimbulkan dengan fobia terhadap keris Melayu ini pada Kit Siang & Company sebab salahnya terletak pada kebanyakan orang orang Melayu itu sendiri.
Kenapa saya berkata begitu?
Apa tidaknya?
Sultan Sultan dan Raja Melayu tak ada seorang pun yang bersuara, bertitah menegur puak puak pencetus suasana kelam kabut yang bangkit angkara tohmahan terhadap Keris Melayu ini!
Bilamana institusi Kesultanan Melayu itu sendiri membisu, memejam rapat membutakan mata dan memekakkan telinga terhadap segala kata nesta maki hamun puak puak yang salah tafsir akan hakikat keujudan warisan Melayu ini, kita nak harap siapa lagi?
Beralih pula kepada para pembesar Melayu itu sendiri.
Tak ada sangat dikalangan mereka yang mendabik dada sebagai pejuang pejuang Melayu ini bangkit bersuara mempertahankan kedudukan keris didalam ertikata keujudan bangsa Melayu itu sendiri tampil kemuka menjuarai salah satu identiti mereka ini.
Habis siapa lagi?
Aktivis teater?
Penjual ubat dikaki lima?
Atau blogger seperti saya dan mereka yang sama sefikrah seperti pencinta warisan Melayu ini?
Setakat mana sangat boleh kami mengubah persepsi masyarakat kita?
Mungkin akan ada dikalangan tuan puan yang mula memikirkan masadepan warisan bangsa tuan puan sendiri ini?
Jika adalah walau sekelumit pun kesedaran yang bercambah dihati, jiwa dan sanubari bangsa Melayu dengan peringatan saya ini, maka saya panjatkan ribuan syukur Alhamdulillah ke hadhrat Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, Rabbul Alamin.
Tuhan Maha Pencipta Semesta Alam yang mendorong pelopor pelopor persenjataan Melayu dahulukala yang menurut cetusan ilham kurnia Ilahi untuk mencipta Keris Melayu, lambang keperwiraan Melayu yang dahulunya gah berdaulat ditanah air sendiri.
Entah lah tuan puan, serba salah saya dibuatnya bila tidak ada sangat dikalangan orang orang Melayu yang tampil menjelaskan perkara, membiarkan puak puak seperti Kit Siang bebas mengadu domba menjenayahkan perbuatan Hishamudin mengucup keris Panca Warisan!
Saya ni sedar diri bahawa aku ini bukanlah Melayu didalam ertikata sebenar tetapi berjatidiri berbudaya Melayu. Terlalu sayang dan amat menghargai segala warisan dan peradaban Melayu walau ianya amat kurang dihargai bangsanya sendiri.
Namun peduli apa aku sekiranya ada yang berhasad dengki, berendam cemburu terhadap keprihatinannya aku, seorang warga negeri Pulau Mutiara lantang bersuara menampar dahi barangsiapa yang mahu memperlecehkan warisan bangsa dan negara orang orang Melayu ini?
Segala musuh durjana, pengkhianat negara yang memperkotak katikkan warisan Melayu ini lupa bahawa bilamana sahaja mereka keluar dari sempadan tanahair ini, diri mereka digelar sebagai 'Malaysian' dan 'Malays'!
Ini hakikat tetapi kebanyakan mereka malu untuk mengaku akan kebenaran keadaan ini.
Apa bangsat sangat kah entiti Melayu ini?
Apakah kebanyakan manusia yang menjadi warga tanahair ini buta sejarah?
Lupakah kita bahawa Melayu ini pernah mempunyai Empayar Kesultanan Melayu Melaka yang merangkumi seantero pelusuk Asia Tenggara ini?
Memang Kesultanan Melayu yang ada sekarang ini seumpama hampas kelapa yang telah habis diperah santannya namun saya amat berharap sangatlah bahawa akan ada kebangkitan semula warisan Sultan Mansor Shah yang sadar akan tugas dan tanggungjawab terhadap kewajipan memperbaharui semangat dan jatidiri bangsanya sendiri?
Keris Melayu Semenanjung haruslah dikembalikan kedudukannya didalam kehidupan seharian warga Tanah Melayu ini.
Bilamana para pembesar Melayu bersidang di Parlimen dan Dewan Dewan Perundangan Negeri, apa salahnya pembesar pembesar Melayu berpakaian sesuai dengan kedudukan mereka sebagai wakil orang orang Melayu, gah dengan persalinan istiadat Melayu yang sebenarnya?
Apa salahnya pembesar Melayu berpakaian lengkap bertengkolok, berdastar dan berkeris dipinggang?
Kalau tak pembesar pembesar Melayu sendiri yang mengamalkan pemakaian sebegini, nak harap siapa lagi?
Apa malu dengan jatidiri sendiri?
Jika ya, alamat kan berlawanan lah dengan apa yang diperkatakan Datuk Laksamana Hang Tuah bahawa "Takkan Melayu Hilang Di Dunia!"
Bangsa Melayu mungkin akan terus ada dan wujud di dedaun masa akan datang tetapi keadaan mereka akan berakhir seperti kebanyakan nasib bangsa pribumi Asia semasa ini.
Seperti kebanyakan orang orang keturunan kaum China di dalam Malaysia ini yang sudah beransur hilang jatidiri dan warisan nenek moyang mereka.
Sanggupkah orang orang Melayu mengalami nasib serupa?
Sekarang ini, kita boleh sahaja pergi ke mana mana gedung membeli belah dan berjumpa dengan anak anak dan orang orang dewasa Melayu yang bagaikan umang umang.
Perawakan mereka lebih menyerupai kaum lain dan terikut ikut dengan budaya moden yang kekadang amat mencemarkan peradaban dan kesopanan masyarakat timur.
Adakah yang ambil peduli tentang gejala ini atau mereka akan terus berpegang kepada fahaman songsang bahawa mahu tak mahu untuk kelihatan maju maka mereka harus mengikut arus peredaran zaman?
Fikir fikirlah tentang ini.
Pantun Bilang Adat ~ Khazanah Warisan Melayu
Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
Salam sejahtera kepada tuan puan, warga Tanah Melayu ini yang saya amat hormati sekelian.
Semalam bilamana saya menziarahi puluhan gerai dan toko jualan barangan di Pusat Dagangan Dunia Putra, Kuala Lumpur, saya mendapati sebuah toko milik DAWAMA, anak syarikat Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka Negara.
Saya telah bernasib baik dapat membeli senaskhah Khazanah Pantun Melayu Riau setebal 807 muka halaman yang memuatkan 3608 rangkap pantun pantun Melayu yang menjadi teras penghayatan budaya bangsa sejak zaman berzaman.
Selaku seorang pencinta seni dan warisan Melayu sejak dahulu lagi, maka saya pun bertekad untuk memiliki khazanah warisan bangsa ini.
Saya mahu tuan tuan dan puan puan para pembaca budiman bersama sama saya menghayati warisan pantun pantun ini.
Ini saya terbitkan semula warisan bangsa yang telah kini di tangan saya sekeluarga untuk dinikmati bersama anda pencinta adat resam dan warisan tradisional kita bersama.
Pantun Adat
Kalau berladang kurang tekun,
Lesaplah padi ditelan belukar,
Kalaulah hilang tukang pantun,
Senyap sunyi bandar yang besar.
Ianya memaparkan betapa pentingnya orang orang Melayu menghargai kebolehan berpantun, menyampaikan maksud melalui kata kata yang di olah sedemikian rupa, penuh berisi niat dan hasrat yang tersemat dihati untuk meluahkan rasa, menasihati, menyindir, berseloka dan kadangkala memberi amaran didalam bahasa penuh tersirat dan tersurat, sesuai dengan keadaan dan ketika.
Apa masih ada diluar sana Melayu yang mahu menghargai seni berpantun ini atau adakah ianya kan hilang ditelan zaman, dilupakan oleh anak bangsa yang kebanyakannya kini terdorong gemar menguningkan rambut dan membirukan kanta mata?
Biar kuning rambutmu dan biru matamu, bontotmu tetap perang tanda anak Nusantara yang lupa diri dan keturunan.
Daku berharap bahawa sesiapa jua yang membaca peringatanku ini akan sempat menyampaikan amanat dan harapan mereka yang kini hanya tinggal sejarah, yang mewariskan khazanah bangsa ini untuk dijadikan panduan anak anak kita penyambung salasilah para sasterawan dan karyawan lampau.
Cuba hayati rangkap rangkap ini pula:
Apa tanda budaya Melayu?
Kepada Islam ia mengacu.
Apa tanda Melayu berbahasa?
Kepada Islam ia berpunca.
Tegak Melayu kerana budayanya,
Tegak budaya kerana agamanya.
Dimana tempat Melayu tegak,
Pada sunnah beserta syarak.
Dimana tempat Melayu diam,
Pada adat berintikan Islam.
Ada jemputan Aidilfitri lagi petang ini...
Majlis Aidilfitri Peguam Tn Hj Zainul Rijal Abu Bakar ~ Bersama Tengku Fakhry
Semalam saya berkesempatan memenuhi undangan Peguam Syarie terkenal Tuan Haji Zainul Rijal Abu Bakar, mantan Presiden Persatuan Peguam Syarie Malaysia di kediaman nya yang terletak di Bandar Putra Permai, Selangor Darul Ehsan.
Setibanya saya ke kediamannya itu, saya mendapati ramai jemputan sedang menjamu selera masing masing dikhemah yang didirikan diluar banglo besar sahabat saya itu.
Dipekarangan kediamannya ada khemah jemputan istimewa dan saya mendapati tetamu khas Zainul Rijal termasuk sahabat kami Tuan Haji Yusri Mohamad, mantan Presiden ABIM yang masih muda belia lagi.
Turut duduk semeja dengan Tuan Haji Yusri adalah YAM Tengku Temenggung Kesultanan Kelantan Darul Naim, Tengku Muhammad Fakhry Petra yang merupakan anak guam Tuan Haji Zainul Rijal didalam kes tuntutan terhadap Manohara Odelia Pinot.
Tuan Haji Zainul Rijal memperkenalkan saya sebagai 'blogger yang 'famous' kepada Tengku Fakhry dan adinda Tengku yang turut hadir dimajlis jamuan Aidilfitri beliau.
Hehehehe...'famous' ke aku ni?
Tengku Fakhry terus mengucapkan 'Selamat Hari Raya' kepada saya dan bersalam tanpa segan dan silu walaupun kami belum pernah berkenalan sebelum ini.
Tengku Fakhry ternyata seorang kerabat diraja Kelantan yang budiman dan beliau sempat berseloroh bilamana saya mengusik Tengku dengan bertanyakan apa mahu dibantu mencari pengganti {Manohara}?
Tetamu yang duduk semeja semua tertawa dengan usikan saya dan Tengku menjawab 'sudah ada'....
'Sporting' juga orangnya. Masih mampu bergurau senda walaupun baru sahaja melalui episod duka menghadapi kerenah sang isteri muda yang mencetuskan huru hara didalam kehidupan anak raja ini.
Hanya Allah sahaja yang Maha Mengetahui akan keadaan jiwa dalaman Tengku Temenggung Kelantan ini?
Ishak gamatkan dewan, usik Najib ~ Malaysiakini
Ishak gamatkan dewan, usik Najib
oleh Abdul Rahim Sabri & Salhan K Ahmad
Okt 15, 09
7:07pm
Dewan Merdeka riuh rendah dengan gelak ketawa para perwakilan yang mendengar ucapan pemimpin veteran Umno dari Negeri Sembilan, Datuk Ishak Ismail, yang bukan sahaja penuh jenaka tetapi juga tebal dengan sindirin terhadap pemimpin parti.
Dalam ucapannya, bekas ADUN Lenggeng itu menjelaskan mengapa beliau menyokong "musuh politiknya" Tan Sri Mohd Isa Samad sebagai calon BN dalam pilihan raya kecil DUN Bagan Pinang, Ahad lalu.
Katanya, sewaktu Isa menjadi menteri besar, mereka pernah bertengkar di dewan DUN sehingga mereka saling gelar-menggelar.
Ishak berkata, beliau masih ingat betapa Isa marahkannya sehingga menggelarnya 'sakai', tetapi beliau pula menggelar Isa 'lanun'.
"Dia gelar saya sakai, saya tengok dia, kecil mata saya... Mana saya tidak sokong, sakai dah sokong lanun," katanya disambut gelak ketawa perwakilan.
"Saya sokong Isa, (kerana) apabila digantung (keahlian), beliau tidak pernah meragam, tidak pernah mengugut untuk keluar parti, dia jaga kawasan, dia hebat," katanya.
Ishak juga berkata, Isa juga seorang yang berani sewaktu beliau bersamanya berceramah dalam kempen pilihan raya kecil di Ijok dua tahun lalu.
Kencing dalam stadium
Aksi Ishak berucap itu juga menyebabkan barisan pucuk pimpinan Umno di atas pentas, termasuk perdana menteri Datuk Seri Najib Razak dan timbalannya Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, tidak kering gusi.
Pemimpin veteran itu menceritakan pengalaman yang pernah kencing di sebuah stadium di London ketika beliau sedang menuntut di sana tahun 1970-an.
Katanya, beliau berbuat demikian kerana tidak tahan untuk membuang air kecil, ketika sedang menyaksikan perlawanan bola sepak antara Liverpool dengan Leeds United.
Dewan gamat apabila Ishak turut menggayakan cara dia membuang air kecil, yang didakwanya terkena penonton kulit putih di bawah.
"Orang Melayu kencing orang putih... lepas itu saya rasa punggung saya basah. Rupa-rupanya, orang di atas kencing dekat saya," katanya, sekali menggamatkan dewan.
Menurut Ishak lagi, beliau juga pernah bertumbuk dengan seorang pelajar Singapura di London kerana didakwa memburuk-burukkan perdana menteri waktu itu Tun Abdul Razak yang melawat China.
Beliau cuba menyatakan perkara itu kepada orang Umno di sana, tetapi tiada tindakan diambil, menyebabkan beliau tidak suka kepada Umno, selepas kejadian tersebut di Malaysia Hall.
Bertumbuk di London
"Mereka tidak berani mangambil tindakan kepada pelajar tersebut. Lepas itu saya tumbuk pelajar itu di dahinya. Selepas itu, saya tidak dibenarkan lagi masuk ke Malaysia Hall lagi," katanya, disambut tepukan gemuruh perwakilan.
Ishak juga turut berkongsi pengalamannya bersama Najib dan beberapa orang rakannya di suatu malam sewaktu presiden Umno menjadi ketua Pemuda.
Katanya, pada malam tersebut, terdengar satu letupan kuat sehingga mengejutkan mereka dan Najib kemudian berkata kepadanya: "Hak, apa kita nak buat. Saya kata, raba telur you".
"Saya tanya, ada Datuk? Dia jawab, ada Hak," katanya, diikuti dewan yang gamat dengan gelak ketawa perwakilan.
Manakala Najib pula kelihatan tersipu-sipu malu sambil menunjukkan tangannya ke arah Ishak.
Beliau sekali lagi menggamatkan dewan apabila berkata beliau berbuat demikian kerana mengetahui Najib bakal menjadi perdana menteri.
"Apa guna jadi perdana menteri kalau telur tidak ada," katanya dan dewan sekali lagi riuh.
Ishak juga memberi petua kepada perwakilan cara hendak mengenal seseorang suami yang takutkan isteri daripada caranya bertepuk tangan.
Secara berseloroh, beliau berkata, lelaki yang bertepuk dengan tangan kiri di atas, ia menunjukkan seseorang yang takutkan bini.
******************************************************************
Kelakar juga bilamana saya membaca laporan Malaysiakini di atas. Ianya menunjukkan bahawa para pembesar negara kita ini juga tidak lekang dari gurau senda dan ada kisah kisah menarik tentang mereka yang orang ramai tidak tahu.
Hakikat bahawa mereka juga manusia biasa seperti kita dan ada suka dan duka serta perkara yang boleh memecahkan perut berlaku didalam kehidupan mereka yang kita anggap sebagai manusia bangsawan.
Yang membezakan kita dengan mereka hanya harta dan pangkat kedudukan didunia ini. Ada baik dan buruk dikalangan mereka sama sahaja seperti kita.
Cumanya kisah kisah sebegini jarang didedahkan rakan rakan, sahabat handai dan ahlul keluarga mereka.
Bagi saya, ini adalah baik dan menunjukkan bahawa tidak ada bezanya mereka dengan kita pada dasarnya sehingga ramai yang menaruh syak wasangka dan hasad sesama manusia dan sesama ummah.
Terimakasih Malaysiakini dan Datuk Ishak Ismail kerana sudi mendedahkan perkara ini.
Jadi tuan tuan, bilamana menepuk tangan, jaga jaga aa...tangan kena betul jika tidak mahu di cap 'takut bini'!
Hahahahahaha! Macam macam ada....
Farhan AF4's Aidilfitri Invitation to us.
Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
I have been terribly busy with my life in this festive month of Syawal where invitations to 'open houses' are still coming my way and I have been trying my best to attend such invitations as best as I possibly can, Alhamdulillah!
One of the invitations came from Farhan, one of the Akademi Fantasia 4 stars.
I came to meet Farhan by chance when we both were having our meals at Linda Onn's My Mom's Chicken Rice at Tesco Ampang.
By that I would like to clarify that I was with my missus there and it so happened that Farhan and her family were also having their meals at My Mom's Chicken Rice, Tesco Ampang.
Unlike many other celebrities, Farhan is quite humble and never fails to show her respect to me as an elder and also as one of her many ardent fans!
This is one of my favorite Farhan performances.
Sayang Di Sayang, a keroncong hit back in the days of Kartina Dahari, the original singer.
It so happens that Farhan is quite a close friend of Suraiza Abdul Razak, wife of Azizul Azmi Mutalib, one of my wife's nephew, father of Rayyan Iskandar, our grand nephew.
You can say it's a small world and Almighty Allah brings together those whom He Wills to meet and make acquaintance. Alhamdulillah!
So, after getting the invitation from Farhan to attend her function at her parent's place at Pandan Indah, we confirmed our attendance and went to the majlis.
This is myself in one of my latest outfits. It's a traditional Malay suit. Fashioned by Jafiqa Couture Boutique in Langkawi, Kedah. Cotton linen.
I bought it when we went shopping at the Aidilfitri Fiesta at the Kompleks Kraftangan Jalan Conlay, KL.
First ever Baju Melayu Johor in my possession. Even bought a Paulini Heritage Craft brooch to complete the outfit! :P
That's a first too! Hahahaha..when did I ever buy myself a brooch to complement my outfit?
Never before. Just this once!
This is Farhan with myself. A great young lady. Fantastic singer. Humble and unassuming.
I met Ramli Sarip, the legendary 'Papa Rock' at Farhan's function. He too was quite cordial and down to earth.
I have met Ramli Sarip in person a couple of years before during one of ANSARA's annual gathering at the PWTC. True rocker!
The MCA Debacle ~ What the bloody hell?
I can only shake my head in disbelief looking at the way the Malaysian Chinese Association political party is coming apart at the seams by the latest debacle which has come to be from the EGM's result that has seen its incumbent President Dato Seri Ong Tee Keat who is a man known to be the driving force behind the exposing of the corruption cases of the Port Klang Free Zone and generally not known to succumb to any forms of cronyism in his political career, now become a victim of no confidence from his own party members!
He lost by 14 votes in the recent EGM!
The proven self confessed adulterer Dato Dr Chua Soi Lek who was sacked from his position as the MCA Deputy President following the expose of his adultery and scandalous affair with a 'good friend' has ironically been returned as a member of the MCA and is now asking his President to quit!
I know that Malaysian politics can sometimes be best considered as a political circus but this turn of events is simply preposterous!!!
Here is a clear cut case of a morally unscrupulous politician who was caught practically in the adulterous act by way of the video recorded clandestinely by his political enemies and whose reputation had gone bust by his behavior asking a righteous non condescending MCA President such as the learned Dato Seri Ong Tee Keat to resign!
What gives?
Have the MCA members totally gone bonkers by rejecting a man who has stood his ground by refusing to kowtow to morally bankrupt people such as Chua Soi Lek and not easily intimidated by death threats to his person for exposing the PKFZ scandal?
Just take a look at the integrity of the MCA President Dato Seri Ong Tee Keat :
What has the adulterous Chua Soiled Lek to offer the Malaysian Chinese Association?
Any idea?
Don't tell me .... I know some of you are smirking there thinking of .... hehehehe...
Geeez....
To our Malaysian Chinese folks.
Get rid of the scum in our national politics and do return and retain MCA President Dato Seri Ong Tee Keat!
He is an intellect and quite a damn good leader.
Its been quite some time since we had such an articulate MCA President and society leader.
We need more like him around!
Niqab & Purdah ~ The misguiding decree of the so called `Ulamaks of the Akhirul Zaman.
1st He Makes Riba - "Halal" (permits usury) Now He Forces Young Girls To UNCOVER?!
Yasir Qadhi talks about “Mu-Shaykh al-Azhar - At-Tantawi
Dr Sayyid Tantawi Azhar
Riba Incident - over 20 years ago...
Once he ruled "
haram" on "riba", later said the exact same type of transaction was "halal" (permitted).
When asked why he changed his opinion, Dr. Tantawi said, "
Riba is a mystery of mysteries surrounding in a mystery"
(Looks like Tantawi is the 'mystery')
- That statement got him the title of "Grand Mufti" (big scholar) of Al Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt.
Now the "Niqab" Incident - today -
Tantawi forces 16 year old girl to uncover in front of him (nice guy, eh?) [click the Read more...]
Cairo's Big Mufies
By now, almost everyone has heard of the recent incident involving the Shaykh al-Azhar, the esteemed Dr. Sayyid Muhammad Tantawi, with the veiled high-school student.
The office of the Shaykh al-Azhar is symbolically the most senior office in the entire Sunni world, outranking even that of the Grand Mufti of Egypt, since it purportedly places in the highest office the most scholarly personality of the oldest and more revered Islamic University in the Sunni world, al-Azhar University.
In fact, Dr. Tantawi had previously held the position of the Grand Mufti of Egypt for almost a decade, after which the great leader of Egypt, Hosni Mubarak, impressed with his services to Islam, promoted him to the office of Shaykh al-Azhar.
Hosni Mubarak should be thanked for promoting Dr. Tantawi to his office, and this promotion shows not only the credentials of the learned Doctor, but also the care and concern that this three-decade veteran leader of Egypt has for the cause of Islam.
Dr. Sayyid Tantawi hardly needs an introduction, for he has already established a reputable career, and his resume boasts of such fatwas as the one which encourages Muslim women in France to abandon the headscarf so that they may be in conformity with French law.
It appears, however, that the venerable Shaykh understands that his role cannot stop at merely removing the headscarf from our sisters. In his concern for the welfare of the Ummah, he has now taken an even bolder step.
In case some are still unfamiliar with the details of the event which occurred two days ago, here are the details which have been reported by a number of reliable eye-witnesses and the media.
When the Grand Shaykh was invited to address a group of young female high-school students, he noticed one of them wearing a face-veil (niqab).
This seemed to irritate his Excellency rather mightily, and, his conscience so roused, he proceeded to ask the supercilious girl to remove her veil (of course, he is not the first person to do so, having been preceded by the likes of Jack Straw and Tony Blair, amongst other honorable mentions).
The girl refused, and said rather innocently that it was her habit to wear it, and she did not show her face to strangers.
The Shaykh’s sense of right became even more miffed, so he proceeded to pontificate rather starkly, “The niqab is nothing but culture – it has absolutely no relationship whatsoever with the religion of Islam.”
Thus buttressed, he then boldly asked her once again to take off the intimidating cloth. Rather surprisingly, the young girl rejected the demands of the senior-most religious authority in Egypt, stood her ground, and once again reiterated that she was uncomfortable with any man seeing her.
The esteemed scholar could not take such an insult to his honorable demand so lightly, nor could he allow a sixteen-year old girl to get the better of him!
The temerity of such a girl deserved that the Grand Shaykh put her in her place.
Gathering all the might and courage that he needed – for 16 year old girls are known for their tempers and bad moods – he charged on, blasting, “I have already told you that the niqab has absolutely nothing to do with the religion, and it is something that is from custom!”
To drive the point home, he added, in a crude Egyptian vernacular, “…and I know the religion better than you, and those who gave birth to you (i.e., your parents).”
Of course, such languages was completely justified, as how else was the coarse and ill-mannered young lady going to be taught the refined manners of Islam?
Petrified and terrified, intimidated and bullied by a man four times her age, embarrassed in front of her peers and teachers and media by the highest-ranking religious authority in the land, the young lady felt she had no choice but to take off the blameworthy fabric.
The Shaykh of al-Azhar, satisfied and vindicated, threw in his final blow, to really put the girl in her place, and teach her a well-deserved lesson that she would never forget.
Outdoing his crude expression of a few moments ago by a number of exponential notches, he said, “Ama law kunti hilwa shuwaya la-amilti eh?”
Alas! English simply cannot do justice to the coarseness and incivility of the Shaykh’s street-manner talk (which, of course, the impudent young girl fully deserved).
While the vulgarity and tone of the language might fool some people, in fact what the Shaykh really did was to skillfully and subtly demonstrate that, despite his high office and erudite mastery of the religion, he was completely in tune with the riff-raffs and hooligans of the alleyways of Cairo.
A rough translation – albeit without the vulgar connotations of the Arabic (and my apologies to our English readers for the loss of the coarseness) – would be, “So if you were even a little beautiful, what would you have done then?”
The implication, of course, was that the egotistical girl was presuming herself to be worthy of participating in a beauty pageant, hence covering her face out of fear of tempting others.
Little did she realize that she was not even qualified to use the adjective ‘beautiful’ in the same sentence as her name!
The wise and nurturing religious father-figure of the nation made sure that the self-esteem of this young sixteen year old girl would forever be shattered – so let all teachers pay heed to the lessons that the Shaykh imparts through his astounding pedagogical skills.
It is comforting to know that the ex-Grand Mufti is more knowledgeable than we are (of course, in his humbleness and humility, he only restricted his greater knowledge to ‘the girl and those who gave birth to her’, but we all understand that it was only his modesty that precluded more epithets, and allowed the self-praise to be so restrained).
Thank God for that, for indeed us simpletons are in need of his seemingly unrestrained knowledge (not to mention his perfect mannerisms and gentle nature).
For indeed, a cursory reading of the hadith literature to people of lesser knowledge such as ourselves shows that the face veil (niqab) was quite common amongst the wives and female Companions of the Prophet salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam.
The niqab appears to have been so common, in fact, that before the only Hajj the Prophet salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam ever performed, as he was instructing people regarding the rites of this Sacred Journey, he had to give a general command to all women that they should not wear the niqab during the state of ihram (al-Bukhari in his Saheeh).
To an untrained mind, this would indicate that the custom of wearing a niqab had at least some prevalence, or else there would have been no need to caution against it (after all, it’s not as if there is a specific hadith prohibiting women from wearing mink fur coats during ihram).
One wonders whether perhaps these noble ladies from amongst the Companions had managed to import this un-Islamic practice from Persia (for the learned Shaykh did not tell us which culture it was imported from?) even before Persian customs reached Arabia – an amazing feat indeed!
To further confound us simpletons, we read in the Sunan of Abu Dawud and other sources, that Aishah (r) would lower her loose scarf over her face even during the state of ihram (thus effectively veiling it) when male riders passed them by.
Aisha understood that the prohibition for wearing niqab only applied to using that cloth, and not to the actual covering of the face (similar to the fact that men cannot wear trousers during ihram but must still cover that portion of the body with other materials).
Lest some misguided individual, infatuated with the Roman (?) custom of veiling, inform us that this veiling was specific for the wives of the Prophet, perhaps our very knowledgeable Mufti can better educate us as to how to understand the narration in the Muwatta of Imam Malik, which states that Fatima b. al-Mundhir used to cover her face in the state of ihram in a similar manner that Aisha did?
And while we are on the subject, perhaps the erudite scholar can also explain how Umm Khallad, another female Companion, was seen wearing a face veil by the Prophet and other Companions?
In one tradition (recorded in Sunan Abu Dawud), we learn that after a certain battle, she was seen hurrying to and fro, searching for her son to see if he were still alive.
The companions were amazed that even in such a frantic state of mind, she had covered herself with a veil.
One of them commented at her veiled state, at which she replied, “Even if I have lost my son, I shall not suffer the loss of my modesty!”
A pity that our ex-Grand Mufti and Shaykh al-Azhar were not present there, for if he were, he would have told her that he was more knowledgeable of the rules of modesty that she was!
It is indeed confounding to simpletons who lack the grace and mastery of books that the Shaykh does to find narration upon narration that seems to assume that wearing a face veil was common practice amongst the earliest of generations.
In one, we find that Aishah (r) was recognized by Safwan b. Mu`attal in the ‘Incident of the Slander’ only because he had seen her before the revelation of the verses of hijab (thus clearly showing that Aishah, at the very least, understood from these verses that she must cover her face).
In another narration, we find that `Umar b. al-Khattab recognized Safiyya after the revelation of the verses of hijab by her gait, thus again indicating that he could not see her face (both narrations in the Sahih of al-Bukhari).
What perturbs the lesser-educated minds of the Ummah is that this pernicious custom of obscuring the face seems to have crept into this nation rather early.
Regarding the interpretation of Surah Ahzab, verse 33, which commands women to ‘…not display your beauty like the women of Jahiliyya did,’ al-Tabari’s Tafsir tells us that even the Companions differed amongst themselves regarding whether the face was a part of that beauty which should be covered or not.
It appears that the Shaykh al-Azhar was able to detect something which even the Companions missed: that the face covering had nothing to do with Islam!
The pervasive insidiousness of this imported fabric was not limited to the Companions, however.
We find each and every classical work of legal jurisprudence – from al-Nawawi’s Majmu to Ibn Qudamah’s Mughni to Ibn Abideen’s Radd al-Muhtar to Ibn Abd al-Barr’s al-Tamhid – have sections dedicated to this issue. Peculiarly, we find all four classical Sunni schools of law discussing the legal status of the niqab, in numerous major work of fiqh, written throughout the centuries of Islam.
In fact, we even find schools of law outside of the four, such as Ibn Hazm’s al-Muhalla, that discuss this issue.
It is indeed great Providence that we have been blessed with the pedantic wisdom of the Shaykh of the Azhar for being able to cut through and expose such a large conspiracy, which spanned the entire geographic regions of the Ummah, and reached back to the earliest of our times.
Without his insight, it would be quite easy for someone to believe that the niqab has been a part of the Islamic tradition from its very inception.
One cannot help but sympathize with someone as supposedly learned as Dr. Yusuf al-Qaradawi, who is not exactly known for conservative views, yet still says,
“Those who believe that niqab is an innovation or forbidden are ignorant, and by this they lie about the Law of God. The least that can be said about the issue of niqab is that it is merely permissible.”
That is why we need government appointed Shaykhs of al-Azhar, to correct such misunderstandings in the wisest and most fatherly of fashions, and to make sure that rash, impetuous young girls are taught the mercy of our religion and the beauty of our mannerisms.
All I can say is: with scholars like these….who needs the French?!
Please note:
1- The purpose of this article is not to discuss the legal ruling of the niqab, but rather to prove that it existed in our tradition and is a part of Islamic culture; whether it is mubah, or mustahab, or wajib is beyond the scope of our discussion.
2- On a personal note, while I do not unconditionally encourage sisters living in America to wear the niqab, I most certainly do not discourage them from doing so, and believe it is their legal and Islamic right to do if they choose to do so.
3- Sarcasm is allowed in our religion when the situation calls for it – and this one most certainly did!
.
There is an opinion that niqab is a bid`ah that is alien to Muslims and that it has nothing at all to do with the religion of Islam, having penetrated Muslim society during the ages of extreme deterioration.
This is neither a scientific nor an objective view. It is an oversimplification of the issue, which deviates people from scrutinizing the subject as it really is.
Any person learned about the sources of knowledge and scholarly views cannot argue about the issue being controversial among scholars. I mean here the issue of whether it is permissible to uncover the woman's face or whether it is obligatory to veil it and the hands too.
Muslim scholars of the predecessors — including jurists, exegetes of the Qur'an, and scholars of Hadith — have differed over this issue. Their difference was due to their various understandings and attitudes towards the religious texts about the subject at hand, especially that there is no definitive clear-cut text about it. Had there been any, there would have been no scholarly difference regarding it.
Among the texts they have differed over is this Qur'anic verse: [ And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their zeenah (charms, or beauty and ornaments) except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof] (An-Nur 24:31).
Ibn Mas`ud was reported to have said while commenting on this verse, "[Except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof] here refers to the clothes and cloaks (women are wearing)."
This means the outer garments that cannot be hidden.
Ibn `Abbas was also reported to have said while explaining this verse, "[Except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof] refers to kohl and rings."
A similar view was also reported to have been adopted by Anas ibn Malik and `A'ishah. Sometimes Ibn `Abbas would add to "kohl and rings" "henna with which hands are tinted, bracelets, earrings, and necklaces."
He might even refer to zeenah as the places where ornaments are worn, by saying "the face and palms of the hands." This was also reported to have been the opinion of Sa`id ibn Jubair, `Atta', and others.
Some scholars also included part of the woman's arm in what is referred to by [what (must ordinarily) appear thereof].
Furthermore, Ibn `Attiyah explained these words by saying that they refer to the parts of the woman's body that are unintentionally unveiled by means of wind and the like. (See the exegesis of the verse as explained by Ibn Jarir, Ibn Kathir, and Al-Qurtubi; and see also its explanation in Ad-Dur Al-Manthur, vol. 5, pp. 41-42.)
Scholars have also differed concerning the explanation of the words [draw their cloaks close round them] in the verse [O Prophet! Tell thy wives and thy daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks close round them (when they go abroad). That will be better, that so they may be recognized and not annoyed. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful] (Al-Ahzab 33:59).
Ibn `Abbas was reported to have said, commenting on this verse, an opinion contrary to what he was reported to have expressed as comment on the first verse referred to above!
It was also reported that `Ubaidah As-Salmani, one of the Tabi`un (Successors) explained [drawing their cloaks] practically by covering his head and face and unveiling his left eye only. A similar example was also reported to have been set by Muhammad ibn Ka`b Al-Qardhi.
But `Ikrimah, servant of Ibn `Abbas, differed with them, saying "The woman is to cover the unveiled part of her chest by a cloak that she draws round her." Sa`id ibn Jubair said, "It is not permissible for a Muslim woman to be seen by a man lawful for her to marry unless she puts on a face veil in addition to the hijab which extends from her head to her chest." (See Ad-Dur Al-Manthur, vol. 5, pp. 221-222 as well as the sources referred to above for an explanation of the relevant verse.)
As for my point of view on the issue, I see that the woman's face and hands are not part of her `awrah (parts of her body that should not be exposed in public), and hence, it is not obligatory for her to veil them.
I also believe that the evidence supporting this opinion is stronger than that supporting the opposite opinion.
Many contemporary scholars agree with me in this view, like Nasir Ad-Din Al-Albani (as shown in his book Hijab Al-Mar'ah Al-Muslimah fi Al-Kitab wa As-Sunnah), the majority of the Al-Azhar scholars in Egypt, the scholars of Az-Zaytunah University in Tunisia, the scholars of Al-Qarawiyeen University in Morocco, and many Pakistani, Indian, and Turkish scholars as well as others.
However, it is not right to claim that there is unanimity among contemporary scholars that it is permissible to uncover the Muslim woman's face and hands, as there are many scholars in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, a number of the other Gulf countries, Pakistan, and India, who believe that veiling the woman's face and hands is obligatory.
Among them are the late eminent Saudi scholar Sheikh `Abdul-`Aziz ibn Baz, and the late well-known Pakistani scholar Abu Al-A`la Al-Mawdudi (as shown in his book Al-Hijab).
Living contemporary scholars who also believe that veiling the face is obligatory include the famous Syrian writer Dr. Muhammad Sa`id Ramadan Al-Buti, who published a letter in this respect, "To Every Young Woman Who Believes in Almighty Allah."
There are also other letters and fatwas published from time to time that condemn women who uncover their faces and adjure them in the name of religion and faith to wear niqab and not to listen to the modern scholars who want to subjugate religion to modernism. The advocates of this view may even refer to me as one of those modern scholars!
But never do I hold that this opinion — that covering the woman's whole body except the face and hands is the obligatory attire for the Muslim woman — be imposed on the woman who believes in the other opinion, according to which veiling the face is obligatory and uncovering it is forbidden.
I will only blame the advocates of the latter opinion if they attempt to impose their attitude on the proponents of the former one and accuse them of being sinful and wrongdoers for adopting it. It is agreed upon that, with regard to the controversial issues on which scholars have given different personal legal opinions, there is no blame to be placed on a person for following a certain personal legal opinion to the exclusion of others.
The advocates of my opinion and I, in turn, do not have any right to censure the supporters of the counter opinion for believing that it is obligatory for women to wear niqab.
For, first, this counter opinion is a scholarly one within the framework of Islamic jurisprudence, and, second, had we criticized them, we would have committed a mistake which we are originally against, that is, denying others the right to differ with us.
Moreover, there are some women who see that, to be on the safe side, wearing a face veil is not obligatory, but, rather, desirable, and draws its wearer closer to piety and fear of Allah. There is nothing wrong in so believing, and no one has the right to blame the proponents of this opinion for following it, so long as this would not be of any harm to others or contradict either public or personal interests.
No Muslim scholar, whether among the predecessors or contemporary scholars, has ever been reported to have regarded wearing niqab as forbidden except in the case of ihram for women.
The scholarly difference regarding the issue of niqab is only over whether it is obligatory, recommendable, or merely permissible.
Thus it is untenable that a Muslim jurist would regard niqab as prohibited or even merely undesirable in Islam.
Hence, I was really shocked to learn that the writer Baha' published an opinion attributed to some Al-Azhar scholars to the effect that they believe that veiling the woman's face falls under prohibiting what Almighty Allah has originally permitted.
In fact, the advocates of this view cannot be said to be of firm knowledge about the Qur'an or the Sunnah or fiqh.
Suppose even that wearing niqab is merely permissible — as I do myself believe — not obligatory or desirable.
Even in such a case, any Muslim woman may wear it, and no one has the right to prevent her from doing so. It is her personal right, and in practicing it she neither falls short of her duties nor causes others harm.
Even man-made laws and the conventions of human rights advocate the personal rights of people.
It is ironic that freedom of dress is given to those who choose to uncover parts of their bodies without encountering any objection, while severe censure is launched against the wearers of niqab who consider it a teaching of their religion that they cannot neglect!
Is there any wonder as to why the Ummah is neglected and abandoned today?
When you have the so called Ulama's of the Muslim world kowtowing to the dictates of the Kuffars and Munafiqs as well as the Musyriks of the world in demeaning our Muslimahs?
Those who are God fearing that is!
The so called ulama' such as Tantawi would not make a fuss about women who expose themselves, eh?
Those women of the world who want to flaunt themselves will probably never get hassled by the likes of the Al Azhar Syaikh?
In my opinion such misleading persons do not merit being called as scholars in the first place!
The Malays have a saying : 'Harapkan pagar ; pagar makan padi!'
An old Malay parable about trusting the fence where the fence ends up eating the rice!
This is one sure case of such a betrayal!
Do we even need such misguiding 'ulamaks?
These are the kind who put up a facade of being so holy moly in public and in private might just turn out to be something else?
Wallahu 'alam bissawab! God knows!
