"Are you in pain O Muhammad?"
"Yes. It is so!" replied the Blessed Prophet.
Then Jibreel Alaihis Salam came near him and recited :
"Bismillahii urqiika...min daa iin yudziika...
Min syarri kulli nafsin...au aiinin haasiid...
'In the name of Allah, I heal you from all ailments that trouble you
and from all evils or
hatefilled eyes that are envious (of you).
May Allah heal you!
In the name of Allah, I heal you!'
Understanding of the above do'a or prayer :-
Be it known that we as Muslims are enjoined to carry out healing methods as taught by Rasul Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam laying all such hope of recovery upon the Will and Permission of Allahu Ta'ala.
We are just His servants. Whatever good or bad that we do or attempt to do, its end results depends upon His Will or Permission!
We can only do what we can ..while we can?
It is He, Ar Rahman Ar Rahim, Who allows any such healing of anyone who has been possessed by the evil spirits or at the beckoning of those who indulge in the black arts of witchcraft and of the occult.
As Muslims, it is enjoined upon ourselves to fight against these maladies using the do'a or prayers taught to us by our Blessed Prophet Muhammad, Rahmatulil Alamin.
When he himself was afflicted by such evil, Jibreel Alaihis Salam came down to teach him these prayers and recited over the Blessed Messenger Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam these very prayers with the Permission of Almighty God Himself!
Thus when we translate such prayers, we have before us the words :
'In the name of Allah, I heal you from all ailments that trouble you and from all evils or hatefilled eyes that are envious (of you).
May Allah heal you!
In the name of Allah, I heal you!''
The part where it says 'I heal you' is a metaphor of the action that an abdillah ~ servant of Allah carries out the act of healing someone by Allah's Permission.
This intermediary @ the healer does so only by Permission of Allahu Ta'ala.
The actual Healer is Almighty Allah!
The healer ~ servant of Allah just carries out the invocations and recites the do'a @ prayers as taught by Jibreel Alaihis Salam to our Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam who in turn taught those of us who so wish to help others get better and be free from such spiritual afflictions sent by those evildoers out there.
Do not confuse yourselves as to the subject of who is the actual Healer here?
Hope you don't get into thinking that the healer or one who tries to help the ones possessed or afflicted by the dark forces here has any such power of his or her own?
No such thing.
We are only His servants who choose to do good and help people. That's all.
Since Time immemorial, mankind has always been full of people who have hatred and ill will towards others and those who go the way of the Devil have resorted to indulging in black magic, occult and evil practices meant to harm others upon whom they have taken offense unto.
Islam acknowledges the existence of the spiritual world. We all harbor within ourselves, a living, breathing, unseen life giving force which is our Ruuh ~ our Spirit.
This spirit is created by Allahu Rabbi and it is He who decides as to whether we are to be given a chance to come into being and exist?
He it is Who decides as to whether we get to grow old or die young?
He leaves it to us to decide as to whether we wish to go to Hell or Heaven?
To discuss this spiritual aspect of our lives will take forever.
I choose just to highlight that if anyone of you or those amongst our loved ones or people whom we care about are stricken with the evil of those who blow spells upon those who are weak and exposed to such malicious witchcraft are to seek Allahu Ta'ala's help in overcoming such afflictions coming from the spiritual kind, the above do'a or prayer is but one out of many other invocations that will come useful in healing the ones affected by such spells.
Syifaa tu bi iznillah!
Heal with the Will (permission) of Allah!
