I just came across these full length documentaries about Ancient Discoveries of the Eastern world which precedes Western Technology as we now know it.
This documentary in particular acknowledges the genius of Islamic inventors and master engineers such as Al Jazari and other great Islamic scientists.
It's amazing that many of our modern technologies were in fact derived from all these ancient masterpieces that came to revolutionize mankind's way of life hundreds and thousands of years ago when there were no computers or gadgets as we now so take for granted?
Abū al-'Iz Ibn Ismā'īl ibn al-Razāz al-Jazarī (1136–1206) (Arabic: أَبُو اَلْعِزِ بْنُ إسْماعِيلِ بْنُ الرِّزاز الجزري) was a Muslim polymath: a scholar, inventor, mechanical engineer, craftsman, artist, mathematician and astronomer from Al-Jazira, Mesopotamia, who lived during the Islamic Golden Age (Middle Ages). He is best known for writing the Kitáb fí ma'rifat al-hiyal al-handasiyya (Book of Knowledge of Ingenious Mechanical Devices) in 1206, where he described fifty mechanical devices along with instructions on how to construct them.

May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala bless the soul of Abū al-'Iz Ibn Ismā'īl ibn al-Razāz al-Jazarī and all other Muslim scientists, engineers and innovators for their immense contribution towards mankind's progress. Ameen.
Instead of wasting time arguing and protesting on the streets, our Malaysian academics and leaders of higher educational, scientific engineering institutions would do better to channel their energies and resources towards improving our nation's economy and invent better more useful machines and technologies which would benefit us all.
Share this video with your readers and help them understand that the Islamic world was once the originators and inventors of many instruments and technological masterpieces that we so nonchalantly use nowadays without bothering so much as to ponder as to who were their creators?
Thank you History Channel and 1001 Inventions from the Muslim Heritage for sharing these wonderful informative full length documentaries of ancient Muslim discoveries with us.
