DBKL @ Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur is infamous for putting up a facade in making it look as if KL is a top class metropolis at prime tourist hotspots like KLCC, Bukit Bintang and other prominent areas where VVIPs and international visitors often frequent!
But try going to its suburbs like the Cheras area and the likes, be prepared to be met by heaps of uncollected rotting garbage stinking up the environment for its residents due to its incompetence and inefficiency, lack of enforcement of its anti-littering laws and other rules which never see the light of day as a result of 'arrangements' and 'understandings' which we all know exists but seldom have the opportunity to see any arrests made because of the 'connections' between them.
Just 2 meters away from a leading pharmacy, rubbish is dumped indiscriminately by the shopkeepers!
I have to hold my nose every time I am forced to frequent this area!
3rd world mentality in Malaysia's capital city area! Soon we might be seeing slum like pollution destroying our suburban areas like here at Taman Tenaga, Cheras.
The UMNO Bandar Tun Razak offices are located just at the end of this pollution filled area! The UMNO politicians talk big as the 13th GE nears but do not have it in them to whack DBKL into taking care of their own neighborhood! So much for trying to create a comeback? Both the BN and the Opposition Pact are useless when it comes to walking their talk!
If only the DBKL has responsible enforcement teams who can go around issuing summons and compound the shopkeepers who have these heaps of rubbish before their shops, then we might be able to see a cleaner Taman Tenaga!
Right now, its a couldn't care less attitude amongst them! They just won't bother!
Little chance of seeing any corrective action by DBKL even after this article is published! I say so after having lived for more than 11 years in Bandar Tun Razak!
Rubbish! Rubbish! Rubbish everywhere! Where the hell are the Kuala Lumpur City Hall's Health Inspectors? Or has such positions become a thing of the past with the leaving of the British Colonials? Could be because I see trash everywhere in KL and its outskirts!
In case any of the DBKL bigwigs don't know where the hell is this Taman Tenaga, I have taken these photos showing the address of the rubbish stricken polluted neighborhood!
Go here to see the map!
DBKL! Are you even reading this? Shame on you if you aren't? ~ Following DAP's style of brandishing posters even in the State Assemblies what more the Parliament?
At the end of the day, all these rhetoric spewing political opportunists will return home to their cushy bungalows and what nots, whilst the majority of the populace suffer in silence living in their cramped quarters, flats and squatter colonies dreaming of the next round of BR1M!
What a life???
