|Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raa jii uun|
"Indeed we belong to Allah , and indeed to Him we will return."
Narrated: Awf bin Malik:
“I heard the Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam ) offering the (funeral) prayer for one who had died, and I heard him say in his supplication:
ALLAHUMMAGHFIR LAHU WARHAMHU WA 'AAFIHI WA'FU 'ANHU WA AKRIM NUZULAHU WA WASSI' MUDKHALAHU WAGHSILHU BILMAA`I WATS TSALJI WAL BARADI WA NAQQIHI MINAL KHATHAAYAA KAMAA NAQQAITATS TSAUBAL ABYADLA MINAD DANASI WA ABDILHU DAARAN KHAIRAN MIN DAARIHI WA AHLAN KHAIRAN MIN AHLIHI WA ZAUJAN KHAIRAN MIN ZAUJIHI WA ADKHILHUL JANNATA WA A'IDZHU MIN 'ADZAABIL QABRI AU MIN 'ADZAABIN NAAR
O Allah, Forgive his sins, Have pity upon him, Protect him and pardon him. Honor his place of return. Widen his grave. Purify it with water, snow and cool water. Purify him from all errors as You have purified the white garments from filth and replace his abode here on Earth with a better dwelling in the Akhirat and replace his family on Earth with a better family and his mate on Earth with one who is better. Enter him into Your Paradise and protect him from the tortures of the grave or the tortures from the Hellfire!
Amin Ya Rabb.
Nagore E.M.Haji Haniffa was a legend in the world of Tamil Muslim Nasyeed songs calling Muslims to return to the Amals and Iman towards Allahu Rabbul Alamin.
I wrote about Allahyarham Haji Nagore EM Haniffa before here. May Allah grant him Jannahtul Firdaus. Amin.
