The Prophet has faith in what has been revealed to him and also do the Believers. All have faith in Allah, His Malaikats @ Angels, Kitabs @ Holy Books and His Prophets. We (Allah) do not differentiate between anyone of them (the Prophets). They (the Prophets) say: 'We hear and we obey (Allah), We hope for Your Forgiveness O Allah and to You we shall return.
Allah SWT does not burden mankind except as to what mankind are able to bear with on their own. For mankind, blessings are awarded for their good deeds and mankind are accorded sins according to what they commit.
O Allah, do not torment us with Your Punishments if we tend to forget or are guilty of sin!
O Allah, do not burden us as You burdened those before us!
O Allah, do not burden us with what we can't afford to accomplish!
Forgive us of our sins and do have Mercy upon us!
You are our Leader, grant us help to face the Kaffirs (Disbelievers)!
The above two Ayats are Allah's Firman @ Commandment upon us in the closure of the Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 285 and 286 in the Holy Qur'an Al Karim.
The Blessed Messenger Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam explained:
'Verily, God has given me two Ayats (Verses) from His Treasury of His 'Arash which are the two closing verses of the Surah Al-Baqarah.
Therefore, read them and teach them to your children and to your wife!
In those ayats are contained , the meaning of the relationship between the servant and his Lord!
They contain the essence of the Qur'an and Do'a (prayers). Those two Ayats suffice to be made as your nightly Wirid (Dhikr).
Any home in which the two Ayats are read and recited, the Devil @ Syaitan will not approach or dwell in for three days and nights!
We then proceed to recite :
- SYAHID DALLAHU 'ANNAHU LAA ILAHAA ILL LAA HUWA WAL MALAA IKATU WA 'UULUL 'ILMI QAA 'IMAN BIL 'QISTII LAA ILAA HAA ILL LAA HUWAL 'AZIZUL HAKIIM
Allah has testified that There's No Other God except Him and have so attested the Malaikats @ Angels and knowledgable persons as Allah stands upholding Justice. There is No Other God except Him the Most Powerful, Most Intelligent.
The Ayat above is Verse 18 from the Surah Al-Imran, Holy Quran Al Karim.
An Arabian man came to the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam informing the Prophet SAW that his (the Arab) relative has been stricken with a disease.
The Prophet SAW asked that the sick person be brought to him. When the sick person was brought before the Holy Messenger, the Prophet SAW laid his hand upon the body of the sick person and recited a chain of sacred verses from the Holy Qur'an.
Among the verses he recited were the Surah Al-Fatihah, Ayatul Kursi, Wa ila hukum, Opening verses of the Surah Al-Baqarah, Lillahi maa fissamaa wati wa maa fil ard, the closing verses of Surah Al Baqarah , the verse above and several other verses ending with Surah Al-Ikhlas, Suratul Falaq and Suratun Naas.
When the Blessed Messenger (peace be upon him) completed reciting those verses over the sick person, the man stood up fully recovered as if he had not been sick before being brought to be healed by the Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam by Allah's Will! Subhanallah!
To be continued.
