Tun Dr.Mahathir's still not happy with the PM!

Reading the NST report about the dissatisfied Tun Dr.Mahathir ranting and raving continuously about Prime Minister Dato Seri Abdullah Badawi's failure to correct the wrongs Tun Dr.Mahathir has pointed out in his previous criticisms of the present Malaysian Government's spells a very bad future for the relations between both leaders!

All Malaysian's hopes of seeing a mending of fences between the two is chucked out of the window, no matter whether the recent meeting between them was carried out in the holy month of Ramadhan and today in the spirit of Syawal!

Tun Dr.Mahathir is a man who is not easy to placate! He has always been very vocal all his life and I don't think that Dr.Mahathir is ever gonna change till the day he dies!

In a sense, that is good for a man with his principles!

As the Iban war cry goes ' Agi Idup Agi Ngelaban!' , Tun Dr.Mahthir seems to be as the perpetual warrior in engaging his successor in many issues he is not too happy with!

The thing I would like to ask is whether Tun Dr.Mahathir acknowledges that among the many things he is accusing Abdullah Badawi of doing such as utilising the Police Force to scare his opponents has not been part of his @ Tun's Standard Operating Procedures before when he was calling the shots for 22 long years from 1981 till 2003?

Sometimes, people forget that they were doing exactly what they now see others doing and feel not happy about it!

The view from the Supreme Seat of Power in this land definitely must be very different once one has vacated the position of Prime Minister of the Government of Malaysia, isn't it?

I can understand that it really must be very, very uncomfortable having to witness the shenanigans of political will and authority from an ordinary citizen's point of view after having had one's way for more than 2 decades!

Power must have seeped into all those cells of an 82 years old humanbeing where every huh or hrmm must always be awaited with devoted ears and subjugation by his attendants in waiting and the ever supportive kowtowing Cabinet Ministers all those years, right?

Hmmm...anyway, Tun Dr.Mahathir has his points about nepotism affecting Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi's administration! The thing is, put any chap into the PM's seat and what will we have?

I can guarantee you that even if you put Tuan Guru Nik Aziz or Lim Kit Siang into the Prime Minister's seat of power, there will always be situations where kith or kin will benefit from the relations with the most powerful man in Malaysia!

There is no absolute guarantee that any Prime Minister of Malaysia will be as law abiding , as God Fearing as the Prophet of Islam where position and power will not be abused by the Head of Government!

The media exposes daily instances where even an Exco of State Governments can be building a bloody mansion or better recognised as a palace in the midst of kampong houses and get away with paying just a paltry sum, these days out of cronyism with the Chief Minister of such states!

Abdullah Badawi was formerly known as Mr.Clean! Well, hello!....no one's that clean! Not even any of the Opposition figures no matter what label they find themselves being portrayed as!

Looks like the fireworks gonna keep exploding in our Malaysian political sky! Well, people, the show goes on, Raya or no Raya!

Abdullah Badawi has to contend with his mentor turned nemesis from now on as usual till either party kicks the bucket, it seems!

May Almighty Allah guide these gentlemen to do the right thing! Admit and apologise if they know they are in the wrong or sue the other and settle this thing once and for all!

What do you think?
