United Muslims National Organization - Possible?

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Ta'ala Wabarakatuh!

Dear Muslims of Malaysia,

The time has come for us to close ranks and unite under just ONE organization to take care of the affairs and future of ISLAM in Malaysia.

UMNO and PAS need to put aside their differences and come together as one under the banner of Islam.

Why continue this ongoing cold war between two of the largest Malay Muslim political parties when they know that if they come together as one , they will be one major kick ass political entity that will be able to safeguard the position and status of Islam in this Malaysian soil?

As long as we are divided by petty quarrels and squabbles over a matter that is precious to both parties which is the upholding of true Islamic values and principles, we will see more and more cases such as the recent apostasy issue continue to eat away at our hearts and souls.

Personally speaking, I think that we are all so caught up in useless racial divides when race doesn't really matter to us in the context of living our life's here in Malaysia.

Religion is what we all feel so strongly about save for a few nincompoops who don't adhere to any. Why should we waste even a second arguing with such folks who only love to debate endlessly with no end to their madness?

We have Malays, Chinese, Indians, Punjabis, Orang Asli's, Caucasians, etc who are Muslims.

Same goes for Christians who have more around the same mix of ethnicities subscribing to their beliefs.

Taoists are mostly Chinese. Buddhists are comprised of the Chinese majority, Ceylonese and some Caucasians.

Hindus comprise mostly Indians, Indonesian Balinese Malays, and some Westerners.

Sikhism is reserved for just Punjabis.

Islam is universal and for us here in Malaysia, we have all the ethnicities embracing it.

The Christians can come together and have their own major coalition of parties and stand as one.

The Buddhists should unite under one major body that will safeguard their rights.

Hindus in the MIC, PPP, IPF all unite as one body and take care of their interests.

We will be able to have a nation where religion rules as it should and not just squabble endlessly about racial issues which are a major waste of time and something that really doesn't matter before God Almighty!

When we die, the Malaikat's are not gonna be bothered whether we are from UMNO, PAS, MCA, MIC, DAP, PKR or whatever race based party?

We will be judged based on our deeds and our faith in God. That's the real deal about how things are. All these earthly racial strife comes to naught before God. Would you all agree?

Hence, my desire to see UMNO and PAS be big hearted enough to see that they both stand to only gain more from forgiving and forgetting the past squabbles they have had and be gentlemen enough to embrace each other with the spirit of 'Ikhwanul Muslimin'.

Tun Dr.Mahathir Mohamad and the late PAS President Allahyarham Datuk Ustaz Fadzil Noor could sit together side by side and jointly state their positions about the Palestinian issue at Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka before.

What makes it so hard for the UMNO President , Dato Seri Abdullah Haji Ahmad Badawi and PAS President Dato Seri Tuan Guru Haji Abdul Hadi Awang to do just that, for the sake of the solidarity and future of the Muslims in this nation?

I know that there will be some sort of reluctance on the part of office bearers of both parties to give way and sacrifice their individual high positions for which they have struggled to attain all their life's but the challenges being made against Islam by certain elements lately raises concern to us Muslims who want this divide between UMNO and PAS to be closed and forged as one, from now till forever.

It's not easy for politicians to sacrifice personal achievements and positions but the two major Malay Muslim political organizations need to sit together and see where they can co-operate and work together to safeguard Ad Deen ul Haqq from those who are conspiring against it.

Possible within our lifetime? Wallahu 'Alam Bissawab.

May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala give us all His Taufeek and Hidayah to see this take place.

Ameen Ya Rabbal Alameen.

UMNO has always been considered by the non-malay populace as ULTRA MALAY NATIONAL ORGANISATION. U know Y? 'Cos I know of a whole lot of rational-thinking moderate Malays who DO NOT subscribe to the crap that's been propagated by UMNO. United Muslims? Dream on!!! said...

Dear blogger, if you sincerely have the conviction in what you write..believe in it...practice it and take responsibility for what you write, then DO NOT HIDE behind COMMENT MODERATION and allow fellow-bloggers to view the comments.
Accepting criticisms in whatever shape or form is what makes a great writer. Are you one?

Dear fin54blogger @ timo,

Let me answer your comments as they came.

1. Your views that my wish to unite the Muslims in Malaysia is a dream, is just that - your views.

As a non Muslim, you should just mind your own business as this dream of mine does not involve you.

So, please, wise up and let me to dream whatever the hell I want. TQ.

2. One who calls for unmoderated comments is just alike someone who leaves his or her front door to their home open and let any idiot, scum of the earth, ball less morons just come in anonymously and shit all over their place which is really not what any decent blogger should do.

I am not one who loves to engage in mindless and useless debates with trash talkers and degenerates who love nothing but rant and rave as they please, spewing forth expletives and cuss words that are not to my liking.

Hence, the comment moderation.

For one who asks others to open up our blogs for an anonymous bloke like you to come in and spew whatever it is you are full off, is just an act of arrogance and sheer stupidity.

You banned Jeffery Hardy Quah from your anonymous site yet expect folks like me to just allow you easy entry?

Sorry mate, you do not deserve that right. Speak if you have anything decent to say otherwise hold your peace.

Prophet Eesa Alaihis Salam @ Jesus Christ left us a very good advice -'Do not cast your pearls before the swine' meaning do not waste your time trying to advice those who won't appreciate them- meaning we are to choose with whom we want to interact with.

Practice what you preach sir before expecting others to follow your whims and fancies.

Have a nice day! I mean it. :)

Hi Mr.Jing, are so lucky to be able to go snorkeling amidst the fishes!

I envy you young man! Anyway, my sincere congratulations for your being you.

You come across as a decent bloke! Stay that way!

As for your regretting that the Christians have yet to mobilize themselves into a political party, that can be arranged quite easily.

It's not easy to change the present status quo here in Malaysia from being a race based political set up to religion based but then again, everything starts from a dream or idea.

This is mine and whether it picks up and comes into being a decade from now or a century later, it is all up to God and our fellow Malaysians.

Nice to know that you are an Uptrender too. Don't give up just yet.

Your trump cards are there waiting for you to go seek them out. Just hang in there and keep seeing more prospects.

You will succeed. Insya Allah.

Love your photo of the fishes.

Hi Bro MG: What you are proposing looks pretty idealistic but not practical. Can you imagine if all the people were to form political parties based on relgiious lines, we will have a religious war/s on our hand. Every one will try to claim that their party is the one and only one that will be able to provide salvation to its members and the others are hogwash. Good Lord, we will a humongous problem on our hands. As it is, parties based on racial lines are already bad enough. Now to have religious parties? I wouldn't say dream on ... but more likely we will end up having nightmares.

As it is, being a Catholic, we have already been reminded over and over again by the Vatican that state and religion must not mix, so I guess you can leave this group out.

Food for thought, though....
