Petrol Price Goes Up Again! What Malaysians Say?

Here is what Malaysian motorists have to say regarding the abrupt and outrageous petrol price hike announced by Abdullah Badawi, the Imam Hadhari of the Couldn't Care Less Bloody Nuisance Government?

Comparison chart of the price of gas/fuel in other Oil producing countries.

Chart courtesy of

Malaysians ought to know that the BN Government under Abdullah Badawi is just committed to enriching its ministers coffers and all the excuses being spewed out by Abdullah and Najib plus his legion of apple polishers is nothing but pure bullshit for an oil producing country like Malaysia does not have to kowtow to foreign markets but rather decide as to what's good for the citizens of this nation?

To all those who returned these profiteers to power, you screwed up big time!

Now you too shall suffer because of this price hike unless you are amongst those who are the freeloaders in government living a life of luxury at the expense of the common Malaysian citizens who lined up under the hot sun just to put that freaking cross besides the name of whichever BN idiot you voted for!

The Malays have a saying, " Harapkan pagar, pagar makan padi!"

I say, "Harapkan pagar, pagar mentekedarah padi!"

Malaysians are used to being taken for a ride, that's why Abdullah Badawi and his gang of freeloaders are having a 'whale of a time' living it up without having to cough out anything out of their own pockets!

The Malaysian taxpayers are being fleeced to the bone so that these buggers can enjoy a life of luxury whilst Najib has the audacity to call for Malaysians to change our lifestyle!

Dear Mahaguru...u have asked what Malaysians say..but there are many Malaysians out there who are frustrated, angry, dissatisfied with the present govt...but still DARE NOT SAY !On one hand they have these feelings on the other hand they are afraid of CHANGE...they still have doubts on the abilities of the opposition parties.
They have failed to realise that if they do not make the decision to allow CHANGE to happen there will be more miseries waiting for them. I am not saying that the opposition will definitely manage the country better. But the fact is the present one is not managing well.

Dear suni,

It is as you say! Many Malaysians have a fear of expressing themselves when approached by me on the streets in my interview the Malaysian public sessions!

Even private sector workers dare not say anything that might incriminate them or express their true feelings except for the ones who realize that the BN are just another bunch of people who are not undefeatable!

Look at Penang, Kedah, Perak, Selangor and Kelantan!

We can make a change only if we DARE TO JUST DO IT!

I for one fear only Almighty Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala for it is only to Him that I shall return when my time is up!

I speak for myself and for my fellow Malaysians, no matter who or what they are?

Thanks for your comment.

I am a 100% with you in this.

Best Regards to you suni.

Assalamualaikum zan.

Namun saya hormati seruan zan!

Semoga rakyat Malaysia akan sedar diri suatu masa nanti.

I don't know what to say. BN/UMNOputras and cronies think that the rakyat are fools and dont have a brain. As a oil producing country, this mineral is the property of the rakyat and we should benefit from it by having reasonable (in comparision to our income levels) petrol price in these bad times when world prices are spiralling. But instead we get multiple whammy's so that the UMNOputras and cronies can really score big. The day of Qayamat awaits these satans.

Am wondering about call to 'change life-style'
When it may be easier to change fiscal policies
To become genuinely prudent with no corruption in any sty
To take the appropriate remedial steps to prevent people from being hazy

Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim must take action now, before it is too late. Screw the morality issue. If saving the rakyat is morally wrong, I don't know what is right anymore.

Well I dun agree on your argument that Petrol in Malaysia must be as cheap as it is in other oil producing countries.
The Other countries like Gulf nations have humungous reserves of Oil and they keep finding new ones.
This is going to last them atleast a few decades.

On the other hand, Malaysia has depleting reserves, which to the best of my knowledge is not going to last even 10 years.

Oil price had to shoot up some day.
Well infact you did not mention Canada! Canada has one of the largest oil reserves in the world, yet its oil price is around RM5/litre (I was der there just a month ago)

The way the price shoot has been handled was pretty flippy floppy..
I agree with Mahathir, that the rates should have gradually increased.

Oil today has hit crazy heights : USD 139/barrel..

Guess, Gulf countries, Venezuela, Russia are having a real economic boom!
