Bertudung macam anak anak orang baik baik tetapi 'bermaksiat tak hengat dunia'!!!

Memang sakit hati betul memikirkan akan kemungkaran yang sedang merebak di bumi 'Ketuanan Melayu' ini!

Champion didalam bab kerja kerja maksiat! Bangsa lain memang tak boleh lawan punya!

Melayu memang boleh!

Boleh lingkop!!! @#$%^&!

Some points that I would like to highlight:

1- The Malay-Muslims involved in this act are categorized as 'moderate Muslims' or
'progressive Muslims' according to the Western standard and also, according to the typically godless and Islamophobic non-Muslims of Malaysia.

2- Any attempt to stop this kind of act whether now or in the future will be branded as 'moral policing','religious extremism','we are not in Saudi Arabia or Iran' by again, the typically godless and Islamophobic non-Muslims of Malaysia.

No wonder PAS opens its comm channel with UMNO who, as commented by a commentator in a blog, at least similar in PAS when 'mandi wajib'. At least PAS can say to UMNO 'inilah perbuatan anak bangsa kita, korang tak malu ke?'.

Actually the family unit is important, no need moral policing, laws etc etc.

During the holy month of Ramadhan u can see elders making a mockery of the puasa month. They sneak in food into the office and eat with friends giggling and making a mockery of Ramadan.

This to me is more " menghina " agama Islam than any caricature by any damn Danish. When muslims "hina " their own religion than is more hurting.

Reza Pahlavi - godless islamophobic non muslims respect the puasa month and do not eat in front of muslims, however muslims eat secretly.

Those days Muslim fathers wre flirtatious and had mistresses and wife No 2,3 and 4. Nowadays mothers are doing the same, having boy friends and extra marital affairs, bcos they are so fed up of the neglect by their husbands.

Though we have many moral police out there, wearing serban and jubah, they dont do the same at home. While policing others, they do not know the where abouts of the children. While policing others, their children are committing sin else where.

So what is important is the family unit. Making it strong, know what ur kids are doing.

If every parent does good and monitors his/her kids, everything will be fine

Reza pahlavi - mayb if we stop breaking down non muslim places of worship, they will not be Islamophobic and Godless. Please dont blame the maksiat of muslims on non muslims. Lets face our problems head on and solve them.

Dont look for scape goats for all our problems.

Assalamualaikum,

1. If you really want to witness moral decadence in muslims, go to all of the entertainment spots in Jalan Pinang, Bukit Bintang and Jalan Sultan Ismail.

2. There you will see muslim drink liquor and beer like air sirap served by Muslim bar tender and waitresses.

3. Where is the enforcement ?

MAHAGURU58 said...

It all goes back to the ones who have the power and authority over this land but FAIL to exercise their duties!

All I or any Muslim worth our name can do is just speak up against the maksiat that we see take place before us but the authorities usually will give all kinds of cock and bull excuses that it is not in their jurisdiction and scope of responsibilities!

I have had many experiences of the police telling me that it is the duty of the Enforcement Units of the various Jabatan Agama Islam of this land but when the Jabatan Agama officers go into action, they are ridiculed, lambasted and humiliated by those who have connections with the ruling party as shown in the JAIS raid on Zouk KL before?

So, where does that leave us Muslims when we happen to confront Maksiat taking place before us?

The Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam commands us to stop maksiat when we see it happen before us with our hands, meaning with whatever authority we might have?

As citizens we have very limited powers to do just that so we are reduced to just confronting the wrongdoers and speak up against their foul acts!

Those who don't have the balls to do that , hate such sin in their hearts putting them in the position of those whose levels of Iman are almost zero, close to Kuffur.

Surely, we can do better than that?

As for the maksiat taking place without fail in the places crower mentioned above, isn't it the duty of the religious departments under the auspices of the Prime Minister's Department to take action?

There is no point in the Polis DiRaja Malaysia having the Kalimah of Allah and Muhammad emblazoned on their police logo when they do not take pre emptive measures against the spiralling cases and incidences of maksiat rampaging through this Melayu Boleh land!!!

Malayamuda,

Why don't you look at those who do not break down non-Muslims' place of worship and take pride by having the largest Reclining Buddha statue, but still receive condemnation from the usual godless Islamophobic non-Muslims when they ban lipstick and high heels, want to ban gambling, introduce dress code for office workers and limiting sales of liquor, or even when they raided a transsexual pageant and throw questions like are we in Saudi Arabia or Iran.

True, the family unit is important, but does that mean there is no need for anti-robbery, anti-rape etc laws?

malayamuda said...

Reza Pahlavi,

Dont bring in the reclining Buddha, Batu Caves and other examples.

For centuries we have been blaming our down fall on others.....

the jews, the americans, the serbs, the non muslims, the indians, the chinese, the british, the portuguese, UMNO, Barisan Nasional, Anwar, Mahathir etc etc

But has blaming others made us better people and solved our problems? NO !!

So lets handle our problems head on. Dont deflect from the issue at hand by blaming others.

The bull in the china store is breaking all our priceless items, can we take the bull by the horn ?

malayamuda & reza pahlavi,

1. Forgive me to interject between your posts, but the question is more towards enforcement of Islamic laws by the relevant Islamic authorities on Muslims in Malaysia.

2. I certainly respect the rights of non-Muslims to do about their business, after all, we are preaching Bangsa Malaysia, and for that, respect for other religions is paramount. Non-Muslims should understand and respect the teachings of Islam. To ban lipstick and high heels, gamblings, introducing dress codes for office workers and limiting sales of liquor for Muslims are one of the many requirements in Islam. It doesn't mean that by doing so, we are going backwards in time to follow Iran etc.

3. To ban gambling, liquor etc. is almost to near impossible in Malaysia due to its many religions and beliefs. However as far as Muslims are concerned, what we would like to see is the enforcement and pro active measures to be taken by the Islamic authorities against Muslims.

For me, the real manace are those who claim of a religion but did not earn their living and take bribes.

Vish said...

Reza Pahlavi,

Forgive my ignorance, for I am a non-Muslim, and not fully versed in the requirements of Islam.

However to me as a layperson non-Muslim, it seems that some of the actions you are lauding, i.e. the banning of lipstick and high heels, the dress code, etc, are really what might be deemed as small issues. So is, for that matter, a couple holding hands.

I may be overstepping my boundaries here, but I feel it would be a far more potent use of manpower for the various Islamic Associations to tackle the larger issues such as bribery (which some JAIS officials seemingly engage in themselves when raiding entertainment outlets), corruption and help promote multiracial understandings.

While I understand your frustration in the fact that the Saudi Arabia/Iran comparisons are probably constantly thrown in your face, I wonder if you can perhaps appreciate that by seemingly only engaging the small issues and shying away from larger problems, Islamic Authorities portray themselves as impotent and only willing to intimidate teenagers or women.

On top of that, connecting lipstick and high-heels to rape seems a bit of a stretch really. As a man I can't say that I've ever been driven into a lusty frenzy by the sight of lipstick or high-heels. To each their own in this case, I suppose.

I would argue however that again, lipstick and high heels is the small issue, the larger issue being the deep-seated psychological problems of men who force women into sexual congress. Would it not be better to address that?

I hope you don't misinterpret any of this as an insult to your religion, but I feel that if larger issues are solved, or at least reasonably tackled, then smaller issues can fall into place.

-Vish.

malayamuda said...

It's not only non muslims who are against the moral policing on Muslims.

Muslims themselves are my dear friends.

One fine example are Sisters In Islam and Zainah Anwar. Now dont brush her off as an infedel etc etc.

I agree that the bigger maksiat should be addressed and not the small ones. Go for the big fish not the small ones.

Why havent the religious authorities gone looking for drug addicts injecting themselves in old delipitated houses ? I tell you why? They are afraid they will be attacked and killed by drug addicts. So they go after young couples holding hands in parks, cos less risk involved !!

What about lorry drivers high on drugs on our highways ? Isnt that more dangerous to other innocent muslims on the road ?

Reza Pahlavi said...

For dummies, there is no shooting range, whether indoor or outdoor, at any office of Jabatan Agama Islam. The absence is an indirect description on the limitation of their authority in handling larger issues. Their limited authority, or what you may call as being impotent, is the reason why they can only focus on small issues. Plus, there is no ban on lipstick and high heels, according to Jed Yoong.

Besides, don't we have ACA handling bribery cases? What if the corruption case involves non-Muslims? Will there be criticism that Jabatan Agama Islam is imposing its values on other religion when they handle corruption involving non-Muslims?

Funny how certain communities in the world claim that they treat women as equal to men but legalize Pompeii's Lupanar in their society, and what happened to Pompeii is history.

Mahaguru58, sorry for using your blog for my debating space.

MAHAGURU58 said...

malayamuda,

Are you advocating that Muslims become vigilantes and start taking the law into their own hands by conducting on the spot roadblocks to see whether the lorry drivers are high on drugs, etc?

I do hope that you remember that there are law enforcement agencies set up to do just that and that we ought to let the authorities do their jobs.

As far as reprimanding youngsters who start by holding hands, then progress to groping and arousing the erogenous zones of each other and then 'wham bam! Thank you Ma'am' and 9 months down the road, we hear of some dead foetus presented at the local surau, masjid, church door, temple stairways or the local rubbish dump or in the sewer.

Yes my friend, it all starts with just a simple case of holding hands and progressing from there.

Not that you do not know how one thing leads to another?

In Islam, we are forbidden to approach zina @ adultery.

It starts innocently, of course.

A furtive glance, a suggestive look, an instant connection leading to the normal male-female sexual buildup and eventually, hey, that young innocent couple are just another adding to the number of statistics for unwed mothers and illegitimate offspring growing in number as we speak.

I don't give a shit about the Sisters in Islam or whatever they choose to call themselves!

All I know is that I did my duty as a Muslim and as an elder as enjoined by my Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam.

If by my action , I had managed to throw a spanner in their works towards a forbidden major sin, I stand firm by my deed and am grateful to Allah SWT that I was chosen to be the one who stopped them at that moment.

If the couple should go ahead and fornicate as they please without anyone knowing, their sin is theirs to bear but when I as a Muslim see a maksiat take place before me and I am in a position to stop it, I will, so help me God!

Anyone not happy with my deed can go fly kite as far as I am concerned. :)

I will do what I must no matter whether the perpetrators are Muslim or otherwise.

As long as it is being carried out in the public area, I as a member of the public will exercise my right to stop that shit, no matter what within my capabilities or notify the authorities to come stop that act.

Insya Allah.

Brother Reza,

As long as what you send in is beneficial to my readers and myself, you are most welcome to speak your mind here.

May Allah SWT bless and guide us all.

Ameen.

A classic example of my broadmindedness is with my allowing malayamuda to come speak his mind here although the fellow trashed me in Haris's blog. :P

As long as what anyone says is decent comment , it will be approved by me here.

At times I even allow off topic comments to be here for the sole reason that it makes sense or is worth discussing?

mahaguru,

it's my wish that the religious authorities police and take over all maksiat committed by muslims in this country.

as u can see we cannot depend on the police and other law enforcements units.

There are many Muslim lorry and bus drivers high on drugs while driving. How many lives depend on these drivers. I have highlighted this many times to the authorities but to no avail. Just this morning a lorry collided with some cars in Cheras, 2 lives gone !!!

Sisters In Islam......i agree with you.

Hope you take this lorry and bus driver drug issue in your blog soon Mahaguru

Salam Mahaguru...

While I sincerely respect and applaud your deed by approaching the youngsters, I can't help but notice your harshness towards them.

Mentioning that you would 'terajang' them just because they were not looking at you eye to eye isn't exactly the best way to handle the sitution in my opinion.

We constantly speak about the hadeeths which includes many fine examples of how our Prophet handled issues pertaining the society, and never have I recall the Prophet being harsh verbally with offenders (pls correct me if I'm wrong)to the point of threatening to physically abuse them.

So if the life and mannerisms of our Prophet is to be followed as a prime example, I would think that we should keep our temper in check.

By the way, the 'Depan Toilet Productions' was quite amusing..

Keep up the honourable deeds Mahaguru. May we have more folks like you around.

Peace be with you and your loved ones.

Megat,

Semoga Allah SWT memberikan hamba kesabaran!

Amin.

I am actually suprise also bila negeri malaysia yg consider a little strict in all this ada ramai wanita seperti ini. Bila saya tengok profile budakni keseluruhan nya.. agak terperanjat kerana budak yg berpelajaran tinggi tapi takda kepala otak untun memikir kan mane yg betul mane yang salah.. kekadang rasa geram.. kesian betul anak sulaiman ni.. tak ada rasa malu ke. baru berusia 25 tahun berpelajaran tinggi masa depan cerah.. tetapi sayang otak nya tk guna kan dengan betul.. terasa mcm nak bilang mak bapak dia tapi tak kenal sape.. macam nak report dkt pejabat maksiat tapi tak tahu mcm mane.. keliru saya
