The Khilafah or the Sultanate? All true Muslims must choose the first!

khilafah flags.gif

Attention : This particular article is addressed to Muslims only. Non Muslims are well advised not to comment on this matter. Thank you for your cooperation.

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

I refer to the question above.

Treasonous? Nope. Just the natural show of support from me as a Muslim for the resurrection of the Caliphate of Allah which is the only true Islamic Authority and the Amanah @ Trust of our Prophet, Rasulullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam, Sayyidina Muhammad Al Mustafa, Seal of the Prophets and the Greatest Messenger of Almighty God, Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, Lord and Supreme Master Creator of the entire essence of reality and the universes.

The Khilafah of Allah which began with the finalization of the Prophethood of Muhammad the Final Messenger of Allah the Almighty in the year 622 C.E. when the Blessed Messenger was invited by the people of Madinah to rule over them and established the first ever Islamic Authority.

To me, Rasulullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam's rule over Madinah was the first ever Islamic Authority in the real sense because the Prophet ruled according to what Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala had decreed and the Prophet himself decided based upon what has been revealed to him by Sayyidina Jibreel Alaihis Salam who in turn did so as commanded by Allahu Ta'ala.

After the passing of Rasulullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam, the office of the Islamic Authority was entrusted to his closest Sahabah @ Companion, Sayyidina Abu Bakr As Siddiq Radhiallahu Anhu whom the Prophet had nominated to be his successor by way of example in his asking Sayyidina Abu Bakr As Siddiq to replace him in leading the congregational prayer when the Blessed Messenger was unwell.

You may read about that and the consequential rule of all the other Khalifah's of Islam from various sources available online.

Let me share with you a hadith about the end of Rasul Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam's Prophethood and the advent of the Khilafah :

“Rasulullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam said: ‘Prophethood will last among you for as long as Allah wills, then Allah will take it away. Then it will be (followed by) a Khilafah Rashida (rightly guided) on the pattern of the Prophethood. It will remain for as long as Allah wills, then Allah will take it away. Afterwards there will be a hereditary leadership which will remain for as long as Allah wills, then He will lift it if He wishes. Afterwards, there will be biting oppression (the Kings, Sultanate, etc) and it will last for as long as Allah wishes, then He will lift it if He wishes. Then there will be a Khilafah Rashida according to the ways of the Prophethood.’ Then he kept silent.” [Musnad Imam Ahmad]

Prophethood as in the beginning of the hadith ended with the death of our beloved Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam. The next stage was the advent of the Khilafah Rashida and this started from the election of the Prophet's closest Sahabah @ Companion Sayyidina Abu Bakr As Siddiq Radhiallahu Anhu followed by Sayyidina Umar Al Khattab Radhiallahu Anhu who in turn was replaced by Sayyidina Uthman ibni Affan Radhiallahu Anhu to Sayyidina Ali ibni Abi Talib (Radhiallahu Anhu). They were the 4 Khalifah's of the Ummah who ruled as per the example set by our Blessed Prophet Sayyidina Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam.

Then the Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam said it would be followed by the era of the Mulkan which was the rule of the Banu Umayyah, Banu Abbas and the Khilafah Uthmaniyyah.

Then after that, he said it would be dictatorship, i.e. oppressive rule, which we are living under today.

The next stage will be Khilafah Rashida once again Insya Allah.

All these modern so called democracies being put to practice in most countries today in actuality are nothing more than oppressive regimes ruling under Nafs.

The elite and the so called royalty live a lavish life funded by the state which taxes the people and finances the ruling politicians and their associates.

Amongst the so called Muslim countries have been set up various kingdoms, emirates, sheikdoms and sultanates. Usually they are former British colonies given conditional independence.

The devious British Colonials have always left their indelible marks or stipulations embedded in the drawn up constitutions of their former colonies as an invincible slipknot or political noose which if situations warrant might be used as an excuse to recolonize any particular country which they gave independence to?

Lets take a look at the Arabian peninsular especially the Saudi Arabian dynasty.

The Saudi Kingdom set up in Arabia by the British and Americans is not what Rasul Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam would sanction for they have proven themselves to not look out for the welfare of the entire Muslims worldwide or to fight against the Kuffars who have been systematically decimating the powers of nations with Muslims in majority ever since toppling the Ottoman Khilafah in Turkey in March 1924?

One has just to reflect on all that has taken place in the Muslim majority nations of the Middle East to realize the apathy or cowardice shown by the House of Al Saud ruling over Arabia in not offering a hand in defense of their fellow Muslim countries attacked and ravaged by the Western Neo Colonialist forces of the United States of America, United Kingdom of Britain and its European Union allies in decimating the People's Republic of Iraq, once a cradle of human civilization and one of the strongest Arab nations before the Gulf War which they carpet-bombed back to being a nation full of rubble!

The OIC countries at most could just whimper out a feeble protest for they remain divided as far as their military might is concerned despite having all the wealth in the form of oil which Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala has bequeathed them with?

The oil rich kingdoms and emirates of the Arabs were mostly silent spectators of the devastation that the joint onslaught of America, Britain, Germany, French, Italian and other European armies unleashed upon their brother republic of Iraq.

The Sultans of the Malayan Peninsular were mostly apathetic to the wanton destruction that the Kuffars inflicted upon Iraq and the ones who protested against the western forces destroying Iraq were the ordinary Muslim citizens of this country who hold no real power or sway over the nation. Demonstrators from Islamic NGO's here often had to face the riot squad of the Royal Malaysian Police's Federal Reserve Units who in turn were under the command and directives of the Malaysian Prime Minister and Ministry of Internal Security who were also Muslims.

Muslims in name only one might safely conclude for they held no sympathy for what their fellow Muslims in the Middle East were and are still facing? The most that these betrayers of their fellow Muslims trust would do is to issue a statement protesting whatever massacre that took place in those lands where once there lived the Messengers, Prophets and Anbiya's of Allahu Ta'ala!

The Malay Sultans once were part of the Malaccan Empire which dominated vast regions of South East Asia. Today even the name of the Malay Peninsular has vanished into the history pages and the Malays as a people are fast being stripped of whatever vestiges of power and autonomy they once had?

Today not a Malay can go out onto the streets bedecked in his ornamental attire which would only be complete with his keris tucked into his waistband? If he does that, chances are that within minutes, he'd be arrested and charged with possession of a deadly weapon!

This is the reality of life within Malaysia today which was once the bastion of Malay Muslim power during the times of Sultan Mansor Shah of the Malaccan Sultanate. Today most Malays are clueless about their rich history and such recollections are only possible with the remnants of those who lived in an era when Allah and His Messenger were held much more precious than their own lives!

This was witnessed in the event of the Natrah riots in Singapore when the Malays took offense to the court ruling that a Dutch young woman @ Maria Hertogh who was raised by her nanny Aminah binti Mohamed as a Muslimah named as Natrah and later on married a Malay by the name of Mansoor Adabi was ordered to be forcibly returned to her natural parents and be apostatized back into being a Christian!

Read about her story here.

Natrah passed away on the 8th of July, 2009. Here is a video of her recorded just two months before her death.

Muslims back then were much more sensitive and concerned about their faith. Today, Kaffirs make fun of Islam and its Prophet and Muslims here in Malaysia are not that responsive as before.

Apathy has seeped into the ignorant hearts and minds of an ummah who aptly befit the parable given by the Holy Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam as to the state of faith that most Muslims of the End Times would be as the foam upon the ocean waves. Numerous in numbers but as weak and helpless as the frothy foam of the waves he prophesied?
frothy foam ocean waves1.jpg

In India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, the Muslims there are very much more passionate about defending the faith but there are still a large majority of them who are ignorant about the true tenets of Al Islam and end up as victims of quite a number of deviant sects and false beliefs attributed to Al Islam especially in the worship of saints and alims who in actuality are the Zalims masquerading as holy men but filching from the pockets of earnest worshipers who just mean well and want to venerate those who to them seem to be righteous and in the path of the truth?

All these boils down to the failure of those who claim authority to rule over the Muslims failing to impart or allow the true teachings of Rasul Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam to reach the Muslim masses or to rule as per the Islamic Syaria of Allahu Rabbul Alamin.

This failure is evident very much here in the so called Kingdom of Malaysia made up of 9 small Malay Sultanates in the Malaysian Peninsular.

The Malay Sultans have been stripped of much of their former powers and are today just constitutional monarchs without much clout and are subject to be overruled by the very Prime Minister or Parliament which they are under oath to appoint and approve?

Their powers are limited just to rule over the affairs of the Muslims and even then have failed to protect and preserve whatever little autonomy that they are supposed to have in the jurisdiction of Syariah laws and matters concerning the Islamic faith and its adherents in their respective sultanates.

All kinds of inroads have been made by just about everybody into the affairs of the Malay Muslims and yet most of the Sultans of Peninsular Malaysia have not been seen to speak up or take charge of the arising matters.

Lately, when the Roman Catholic Church here in Malaysia was awarded by a Christian Appeals Court judge @ Justice Lau Bee Lan permission to use 'Allah' as the name of their Christian Triune God in their internal Herald Church magazine, most of the Malay Sultans played dead possum and remained as the See No Evil, Speak No Evil and Hear No Evil iconic figures we are all used to associate such behavior with?

Only the Sultan of Selangor has been seen to take a more hands on approach in deciding as to whether the Roman Catholic Church of Malaysia has the right to use the blessed name of Allah as the name of their deity in their church publications.
His Majesty Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Al Haj decreed that Non Muslims are forbidden to use the blessed name of Allah in their worship or publications within his Sultanate of Selangor Darul Ehsan!!!

Well done Your Majesty but this alone is not enough!

Malaysia is just a small nation comprising of 9 small sultanates and 4 states run by appointed governors.

We can't be just complacent with minding our own business here in this said to be moderate 'Muslim' nation when systematic efforts and agendas are being launched to undermine the fragile Muslim authority here.

Over the years, so many missions and operations have been launched in this multi ethnic country by forces from within and out of the country sponsors who wield the economic sanction stick to whack us into submission if we fail to heed their 'advice' in allowing the so called freedom of this and that especially the very much campaign by the Kuffars for freedom to apostatize from Islam for this country's Malay Muslims!!!

The Lina Joy apostasy case was just a tip of the humongous religious iceberg that these clandestine missionaries are building up to overwhelm the country's Malay Muslim religious status quo with tact and deceit disguised as fighting for the religious freedom advocated by legal and Non Governmental Organization forces such as those forming the Malaysian Bar Council, Sisters in Islam, etc.

The Malay Sultans of Peninsular Malaysia just keep mum over all these cases despite claiming to be the Keepers of the Faith of Al Islam! Can we conclude that they keep silent because they themselves are not well versed in the `Ilm of Al Islam in all its various branches of knowledge and thus choose the easy way out by not commenting on the arising cases for fear of looking foolish before the masses?

Now, isn't that a travesty of justice? Aren't the Ulul Amri supposed to be the ones who know it all or have the proper credentials to be conferred that most important role as 'Keepers of the Faith' as we all are expected to submit ourselves to be under their authority especially when it concerns matters involving our religious issues?

I personally have heard from those who are in the highest positions of authority in Islamic Affairs that when they do try to implement and uphold true Islamic regulations that warrant their actions based on their job specifications, there are times when they are summoned to the royal palaces and challenged or questioned as to whether they plan to usurp or override the authority of the said Keeper of Faith of Islam?

So these religious authorities are caught in a situation just alike the proverbial 'caught between the Devil and the deep blue sea'!

In the meantime, the Muslims suffer from not knowing as to who is going to come help solve their problems?

Matters involving the true teachings of Islam are often left hanging in the Civil or Syariah legal snare without a just final decision due to the interventions of those who are not knowledgeable in the fields or areas where they are supposedly in charge of?

Take for instance the recent announcement by the BN Government led by its Prime Minister Mohd Najib bin Abdul Razak concerning the approval of the Berjaya Group's sport betting license.

Isn't it preposterous for a so called Muslim nation such as ours to legalize gambling on the pretext that there are illegal syndicates making tonnes of illegal money so the BN Malaysian Federal Government is now giving Ascot Sports a sports betting license so they too can make money by taxing such lucrative gambling activities despite such gambling be clearly forbidden by Allah the Almighty and such prohibition expressed clearly in the Surah Al Maidah Chapter 5 Verses 90 and 91?

90. Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo innama alkhamru waalmaysiru waal-ansabu waal-azlamu rijsun min AAamali alshshaytani faijtaniboohu laAAallakum tuflihoona

90. 93 O ye who believe!
Intoxicants and gambling,
(Dedication of) stones,
And (divination by) arrows,
Are an abomination,—
Of Satan's handiwork:
Eschew such (abomination),
That ye may prosper.

91. Innama yureedu alshshaytanu an yooqiAAa baynakumu alAAadawata waalbaghdaa fee alkhamri waalmaysiri wayasuddakum AAan thikri Allahi waAAani alssalati fahal antum muntahoona

91. 94 Satan's plan is (but)
To excite enmity and hatred
Between you, with intoxicants
And gambling, and hinder you
From the remembrance
Of God, and from prayer:
Will ye not then abstain?

Why are the Malay Sultans so silent about this obvious harami decision by the Malaysian Prime Minister?

What are they doing about it as the Keepers of the Faith of Al Islam in this country?

As a Muslim and citizen of this country, I feel so letdown by this apparent failure of our so called `Ulul Amri and their betrayal of not only our trusts but also that of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and our beloved Prophet Sayyidina Muhammad Al Mustafa, Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam!

The Muslims of the whole wide world are at the moment without a Khalifah, the Supreme International Authority over the world Muslims since the demise of the Ottoman Caliphate in March 1924 based in what is now secular Turkey.

I see no other way out for us but to strive towards making sure that we work towards returning the Khilafah of Allah Rabbul Alamin and to unite the disparaged Muslim ummah as one entity as prophesied by Rasulullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam :

Rasulullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam said, “The Prophethood will last among you for as long as Allah wills, then Allah would take it away. Then it will be (followed by) a Khilafah Rashida (rightly guided) according to the ways of the Prophethood.

It will remain for as long as Allah wills, then Allah would take it away. Afterwards there will be a hereditary leadership which will remain for as long as Allah wills, then He will lift it if He wishes.

Afterwards, there will be biting oppression, and it will last for as long as Allah wishes, then He will lift it if He wishes.

Then there will be a Khilafah Rashida according to the ways of the Prophethood,” then he kept silent.

(Musnad Imam Ahmad (v/273); Reported by Nou’man ibn Basheer (Radhiallahu Anhu)

The time is now for us who are Muslims to realize our situation as foretold by Allah's Greatest and Final Messenger.

All the signs of these times prophesied by Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam have come to
pass or be.

The question is ' the Khilafah or the Sultanate?

As far as I am concerned, I prefer the former. So should you choose if you are a true ummah of the Blessed Prophet Rahmatulil Alamin?

A recent report from Hizbut Tahrir of the UK had this to say about the confessions of Britain's former Head of their British Army General Richard Dannatt. The audio recording by BBC Radio interview of the said general is featured above.

Listen to it and realize that all these American and British so called fighting for freedom wars in Afghanistan, Iraq and the Middle East are just a guise to stop Muslim nations from reestablishing the Islamic Caliphate which had once conquered even back them imperial empires such as the Romans and the Greeks!!!

Look at where Italy @ Romans and the Greeks @ Greece are today? Greece is almost bankrupt and Italy reeling from internal strife and politicking. These European Christian nations have grouped themselves together to fight against the re-emerging forces of Islam and the world's Muslims.

Hundreds of thousands if not millions of Christians are today embracing Islam despite all the blatant propaganda being unleashed against it by the Kaffirs of this world.

They even resort to hitting us below the belt by ridiculing our beloved Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam yet we Muslims do not go to such extent that we do vice versa because to us Jesus Christ @ Eesa Alaihis Salam is one of Islam's beloved prophets as well.

Read the report below concerning the above mentioned former British Army Chief's testimony :

London UK, 16th May 2010
- Speaking on the BBC's Today program on the 14th May 2010, recently retired head of the British army, General Richard Dannatt confirmed that the war in Afghanistan is a war on Islam.

When asked about Britain's continued occupation of Afghanistan, he said there is an "Islamist agenda which if we don't oppose it and face it off in Southern Afghanistan, or Afghanistan, or in South Asia, then frankly that influence will grow. It could well grow, and this is an important point, we could see it moving from South Asia to the Middle East to North Africa, and to the high water mark of the Islamic caliphate in the 14th, 15th century."

Taji Mustafa, media representative of Hizb ut-Tahrir in Britain said, "General Dannatt, a recent adviser to Prime Minister Cameron, has previously been on the record attacking Islam's ruling system, the Khilafah (Caliphate). However, this exchange on the BBC confirms a particular matter."

"He explicitly said that if Muslims adopted Islam's political ideas and the Khilafah ruling system, this was unacceptable and warranted a military response from Britain. He had no issues with Muslims praying or enacting spiritual rituals, provided they surrendered political life to Western values. He tried to justify this by attempting to label Islam as a religion and not a deen, or way of life that encompasses political matters as well."

"These comments echo the language of war mongers like Tony Blair, George W Bush and Donald Rumsfeld - all of who justified the war on terror by demonizing the desire of Muslims to restore the Islamic Caliphate - something that enjoys overwhelming popular support in the Muslim world."

"If Dannatt's comments are a reflection of the thinking of the new British government, it is an indication that David Cameron's government would be committing itself to an almost perpetual war against the political aspirations of the Muslim world - to move towards a greater role for Islam in governance and a greater move to shed the shackles of colonialism, both of which are represented in the aspiration for the return of the Caliphate."

Do we still pretend that all is well as far as the affairs of our worldwide Muslims are concerned and can we here in Malaysia just keep on with our government's agenda in lulling the masses with their hedonistic entertainment programs like all the Jom Heboh, Akademi Fantasia, Malaysian Idol, Mentor and all other bullshit programs being unleashed onto the ignorant ummah of this nation?

Malaysia's Muslim ummah are wasting their precious time, youth and resources in striving to be artistes, singers and performers without realizing that such harami programs are just leading them to be as the foam of the ocean waves which the Blessed Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam warned us about?

Malaysia's Muslims better wake the hell up or just wait for the inevitable disastrous catastrophe that Allah the Almighty will truly unleash upon us who are moving day by day into the abyss of hedonism that caused many other nations before us to perish and disappear from the face of this temporal earth!!!

Repent and return to our fitrah as true Muslims ....if we can still manage!

Wabillahi Taufik Wal Hidayah.

Wassalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

How to strive to make this thing happen sir. Can you elaborate so that we can take actions now? We need practical solutions or actions toward achieving the goal like, who should we vote, should we join PERKASA, or who should we support, BN or PR. Should we form a body like AL-ARQAM did. I believe people like AL-ARQAM knew Rasullulah had prophesied AL-MAHDI will come at end of time, so they strived to make it a reality. They failed but may their efforts be rewarded.

The prophet also prophesied that AL-AQSA would fall into Muslim hand. Many had tried to make it reality but at end Salahuddin Ayubbi did it.

A very courageous and sobering article which should make a true Muslim contemplate and reexamine himself vis-a-vis the life he is now "enjoying". Our Muslim bothers who are now facing poverty, hardships and the constant danger of being killed by the enemies of Islam, would certainly do anything to live in a country ruled by an enlightened, fair and benevolent Caliph reminiscent of the glorious years of Islamic civilization. But the Muslims who are now enjoying life with all its modern tenets, prospering under their current form of government, and having the best of the secular and spiritual life, would not want to revert to the old system of governance. Hence the Muslim are hopelessly divided among themselves and that is the reason why even OIC itself could not do anything to stop the destruction of Afghanistan. Iraq and Allah knows what's next.
Some Muslim countries are too tied up with the West that they would not hesitate to allow their countries to be used as a basis for attacking another Muslim nation. Unless all the leaders of the Muslim nations agree to appoint a Supreme Muslim Spiritual Leader and back him up to present a solid Muslim stand against the unfair charges of the Western world against Islam, the prospect of a new Caliphate emerging is remote. This is not to deny the possibility of Allah's intervention since whatever He wills must surely happen. Subhanallah, walhamdulillah, walaillahaillah wallahuakbar.

You are right. We must choose the Caliphate if there's one but there's none. Unfortunately.

As for Natrah, I wept for three straight days when she died. Being a Christian, she was not to be blamed though. I read the book and i listened to stories as i lived not far from her adopted mother' house. Yes I live in Chukai, the same place where she used to live and schooled.

I believed, Allah is compassionate enough to judge her, that she was a victim, that she couldn't do what was was right because she was under a great force that she couldn't possibly detached herself from.

The whole crux was started by a christian movement in Holland which later on created the event that led to natrah being forcefully converted to Christianity. Not much because of the parentage's love. As we all can see she suffered a great deal and she died not as a devout christian nor as a muslim. She asked not to be buried, instead to be used as an experimental object in the science lab.I think she doesn't want to known as a christian by the mark on the grave since she was no longer one judging by the ways she behaved prior to the death. I pray that she's happy and Allah is with her. Amin.

Brother Norzah,
It's heartening to know that there are folks like you who get to grasp the gist of what I am sharing?

Some may find my writings to be a bit too heavy for them to digest but its important that I address these issues accordingly and tackle them as they should be handled?

My blog is meant to be a journal containing my thoughts and feelings regarding what is going on in my life here in Malaysia?

I know that what I touch upon in my writings at times borders on what is considered to be taboo and no go zones but if I don't do it no one else will, so I just follow what my heart tells me to?

Realizing that death can be just around the corner for me tells me to take off the safety wheels in blogging and just go with the flow.

I have no regrets in speaking my mind but if you know me, I don't engage in hearsay or libel anyone without rhyme or reason.

When I address the powers that be, I keep in mind the Supreme Power above us all and my conscience is clear.

I don't look for applause or stardom. All I look forward to is understanding and a sharing of common grounds and celebration of our Deenul Islam such as this appreciation by your dear learned self.

This is all that I want. To be understood and appreciated for the truth that I share within this blog. That's all that matters to me.
