Part of the Do'a Iftitah

"Verily my solats, my ibadah, my life and my death I surrender to Almighty Allah, Creator and Lord of all the worlds. Never will I associate anything with Him. So am I commanded and I am of those who are Muslims."

A Hindu, A Christian and a Muslim in prayer ~ Surah Al Kafirun depicted in a photo!

A Hindu [standing], Christian [on his knees] and a Muslim [prostrating] in prayer.
Assalamualaikum [Peace be to you] Brother Craig Considine

Kindly allow me to further describe this historical image which you shared in Facebook.

Thanking you Craig in advance (Y)

A perfect image describing what Allahu Rabbul Alamin {Lord of the Universes} Commands us Believing Mukmins to say to those who are Disbelievers.

Islam does not tell us to shun them or be at war with them 24/7. We are allowed to live as a community together with them but each allowing the other to practice their own faiths with mutual respect and courtesy.

https://www.quran.com/109 (Surah Al Kafirun) (Disbelievers)

Bismillaahirrahmanirrahim.
[In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful]

Qul yaa ayyuhal kaafiruun
[Say: O Disbelievers]

Laa a’budu maa ta’buduun
[I do not worship what you worship]

Walaa antum ‘aabidunna maa aa' bud
[Nor do you worship what I worship]

Walaa ana ‘aa bidun maa ‘abad tum
[And I will not worship what you worship]

Walaa antum ‘aabiduuna maa aa' bud
[Nor will you worship what I worship]

Lakum deenukum wa liya deen
Your way is yours, and my way is mine.]

In the holiest month of Ramadhan, I pray that all of us can live in relative peace and harmony as one Brotherhood of Man.

Insya Allah [God Willing]
