Psst! Any part-time 'lobang' @ business opportunities?

Good morning. I wish every one of my readers and followers the best of health and may life be easier for us.

In these times where the Covid-19 pandemic is still going around, quite a large number of people have lost their jobs and in a way are looking for other opportunities or sources of earning an income by becoming self-employed by offering their services to the online community via their personal blogs, Facebook pages, etc.

The problem is that many just ask if there are any '
lobang' @ 'opportunities' but from my personal observances, they fail to follow up with their queries.

They do not have that 'sense of urgency' or commitment to really do something different in order to gain new skills or know how in order to get the side business that they ask for.

To succeed in any business, one must really have that burning desire from deep within themselves and the willingness to follow up with the steps to acquire new skills and learn how to do what they intended to earn those extra ringgits.

Many lack the drive and commitment to even call or message me as they promised. Frankly speaking, out of 10 persons who ask me for any opportunities, 9 or even the whole lot of them fail to follow up.

So, who will they blame for their sorry state of affairs?

God!

These half-hearted folks have only themselves to blame but as usual, it is always others whom they find fault with or worse still, blame the government.

Most Malaysians have a subsidy mindset. They expect someone else to come and spoon feed them! Daily!

😬

Kami sekarang sedang berada di Kuantan, Pahang Darul Makmur.Kampong halaman isteri saya nan tercinta.

'Covid 19 Blues' ~ Gombak Hillbillies - Sheith Faikis, Malaysia's Homegrown Country & Western Superstar!

Malaysia has been missing out on it's raw musical talent who in my opinion is on a level that is really of a world class and ought to be given the exposure that he and his fantastic talented family really deserves.

Let me present to you the Gombak Hillbillies:

'This is my first original song upload. The song is about my experience of being in (the Covid-19 Movement Control Order) lockdown. Most of it is true, except that my wife is not a jerk. I just needed something to rhyme with berserk. 😜

For my non-Malaysian friends, the Mamak is our version of street cafes where we hangout to have tea and snacks. Of course since the lockdown in Malaysia, they're not allowed to open'.

Update: I see that many have asked for the lyrics:

Well I wake up in the morning, I turn on the news
The Prime Minister says I got nothing but the blues
We are all facing a terrible plague
So you can't go to work and you can't go out to play
Covid-19, you scary little thing
You got me locked at home, screwing up my routine

'My dear fellow citizens', he went on to say
'I'm so sorry but there's no other way'
'Just stay at home, please stay safe'
Wash your hands and don't touch your face
Covid-19 (Covid-19)
You dirty protein
You got me locked at home fussing over my hygiene

I go down to the supermarket to get some supplies
Cause a man's gotta eat if he wants to survive
The egg trays are empty let me tell ya
You're a lucky boy if you get Gardenia
Covid-19 (Covid-19)
You bring me bad luck
You got me locked at home eating nothing but Maggi Cup

Now it's been a while since I've seen Ma and Pa
I miss them so much so I jump into my car
Cop at the roadblock says you can't leave town
'I will lock you in jail if you don't turn around'
Covid-19 (Covid-19)
You break my heart
You got me locked at home, keeping my loved ones apart

[Music]
Covid-19
Covid-19
Aahhh Ouuuu

Now I miss my Mamak and I miss my Teh
I miss sitting and smoking while I wait for my Thosai
I miss seeing the tables and chairs lined up on the street and
The rats and roaches runnin' underneath my feet
Covid-19 (Covid-19)
You took my life away
You got me locked at home, you're driving me insane

Now my wife has changed, God only knows,
she used to want me always so close
but now that i'm home she's actin' like a jerk
I said 'what's wrong with you' and she says, 'social distancing, havent you heard?'
Covid-19 (Covid-19)
You made my wife turn
You got me locked at home, You're driving me berserk

Now my daughter's stuck at home
She can't go to school
She watches Spongebob all day all night all afternoon
I said too much TV will mess up your head and she goes: (Spongebob laugh)
Covid-19 (covid-19)
You give me bad dreams
You got me locked at home, You're driving me insane
One more time.
[Music]
Covid-19
Covid-19
You got us locked at home, You're driving us all insane

Mahaguru58's comment:

'I first came to learn about this undiscovered Malaysian raw superstar level talent during the Covid 19 MCO [Movement Control Order] and was and still am, absolutely floored that we have such an amazing Country & Western singing sensation here in Malaysia but yet till today, he has not been discovered and heralded by our Malaysian Creative Industry especially by RTM (Radio Television Malaysia) the Malaysian Television & Radio Broadcasting Media Stations, TV3, ASTRO and all other broadcasting stations and channels!

Hello! It's not often that we get to be entertained by such a dynamic true blue talent like Sheith Faikis and his amazingly supportive and talented family members!

I call upon Persatuan Karyawan Malaysia especially it's President, Dato Freddie Fernandez to see how he can help Brother Sheith Faikis, our super talented musician and Country & Western singing sensation to highlight his brilliance with the nation and at the international stage.

Dato Freddie Fernandez
I believe that Brother Sheith Faikis of the Gombak Hillbillies is like a rough diamond, who if given the right platform and opportunities, will shine bright like the precious gem that he is and bring forth our beloved nation, Malaysia as a country with such raw and gifted talents worth sharing with the world.

Insya Allah.

Tun Mahathir, YB Langkawi terduduk kena serang YB-YB BN! Ambik Hang!!!

Al-kisah, maka Mantan Perdana Menteri ke-4 dan ke-7, YB dari Langkawi, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, semalam lemah terduduk selepas di-serang bertubi-tubi oleh YB Baling, Dato Azeez Rahim, YB Kinabatangan Dato Seri Bung Mokhtar Raden dan YB Arau, Dato Seri Shahidan Kassim!!!

Padan Muka!

Demikian lah putaran roda dunia.

YB Pasir Salak, Dato Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman

Hawau! 😆😅😜

KL City - Old Quarter Photoshoot 2010 plus Safety Tips on Street Photography from Mahaguru58

Here are some photos which I have not published before from my KL Old Quarters 2010 Photoshoot for those of you who would like to see for yourself how it really is for Malaysia's capital city inhabitants, who live in the older parts of KL.

Chow Kit is namely the area of Old KL that is dominated by the Indonesians who have turned the place into a 'Mini Jakarta'. You can't escape the feeling that you are not in Malaysia because the entire area looks, smells and generally isn't what true Malaysian identities prevail.

I gather that those foreigners who are doing all kinds of trades there are namely illegal immigrants who have taken up domicile in the area that is both a bit menacing and dangerous because of the types of persons who are present there.

You just never know, what's gonna happen because of the uncertainties prevailing? There's both a sense of trepidation and anxiety that befalls you when you venture into such a place.

It just gives you a spine tingling, prickly sensation as you walk through an area where the ones who look at you with suspicion, often do so because they are mostly comprised of those who might not actually have valid travel documents or have entered Malaysia illegally.

If they are here legally, they wouldn't be so wary of your presence, what more if you are toting a camera and taking photos of everything and everyone. So, the adrenaline rush you feel as you go around, snapping your photos is real and you feel a rush with your senses all alert, ready to bolt if the situation warrants it.

You can sense that almost all who are present in that area are aware of you, snapping photos as you step into the inner parts of the labyrinth of makeshift stores and stalls, selling almost everything that you can think of?

They will glance at you with suspicion, wondering as to who you are and why you are taking photos of them and their trading areas? You get that gut feeling that things can just change in a split second and you are to be on your toes, always.

Take for instance, this trader who was putting up his clothing items, for sale. He turned to look at me with suspicion when he realized that I was shooting photographs with my DSLR camera.

They wouldn't be so apprehensive if it was just someone taking photos with their smartphones, etc. But when you are there aiming your DSLR camera lens at them and their trade stalls, you get such a look. Full of suspicion.😟😨😧

Just don't make eye contact and move on. It's best to avoid any confrontation and just be on the move, not having to deal with such persons. As a street photographer or one who has it in him or herself to record sights and scenes for posterity or historical visual documentation, the need to know self-preservation when going on an impromptu photo shoot is most important to avoid getting oneself into a dangerous or harmful situation.

There are plenty of eye-catching scenarios worth capturing when one is indulging in street photography at interesting places such as the Chow Kit Wet Market and surrounding street bazaars.

Depending on one's intuitive and knowing where and what one might find worth photographing is really up to one's own taste and forte. We do vary from one another as far as each photographer's interest is concerned. You can easily tell such differences by the way our photographs turn out.

I for one am quite keen to capture the human psyche and manner of my chosen subjects when they are doing whatever it is that is their profession or just the circumstances which we find through our camera's lens.

Take for instance, the focus and attention that this 'Apam Balik' maker and seller is paying to his preparation of his foodstuff. The photo clearly shows that he is diligent in his trade.

The lighting is natural and the various contrasts of the image is so natural and unplanned. This is why I love to just randomly go with the flow and just make sure that I keep shooting as I snap instinctively at whatever captures my attention. You just never know what's going to be recorded? I like this shot. 😍

In the following shot, I was lucky to have freeze framed the drinks seller as she was pouring the drink with her arm raised in that position. A second too late and the photo would look different. I have also managed to capture a good angle of the customer as he was being in the classic rule of one third of the frame. Spontaneous composition.

I then came upon this guy who was selling fruits and he was just engrossed with his work, not realizing being photographed.
The dark background just sort of presents an interesting shot with a play of light and dark contrasts. Happy with the sharpness of the shot as well.

If you are to walk through the many passages present at the Chow Kit bazaars, you'll come across the costume jewellery traders such as this Indonesian lady.

She was enjoying, eating a mango fruit snack as you can see in this photo. Her costume jewellery ware in the form of the various gold-plated fake gold chains and bracelets took centre-stage of my focus here.

I like capturing such random images and preserve them because times keep changing and scenes like these often tend to disappear as our country's lifestyles and economies tend to evolve over time as we edge to the newer mannerisms of doing business over the years.

Kuala Lumpur will always be the 'Golden City' for people from Indonesia and other countries because our Malaysian Government and Law Enforcement Departments and Agencies are so often just not strict and tend to let things be without realizing that at the slightest chance and opportunities, they might just be colonized once again, but this time by foreigners such as these Indonesians, Bangladeshis, Myanmarese, Nepalis and Pakistanis who would waste no time in setting up shop and lording it over us!

Will the Malays ever learn? Don't bet on it. 😰😞😩

Al-Jazeera's Fake News about Malaysia's handling of ILLEGAL ALIENS during the Covid-19 pandemic!

I call upon the Malaysian Home Ministry to expel immediately and ban any of the Al Jazeera Fake News 'media' team from remaining on our beloved Malaysian soil!

We don't need such fake news spouting, bad intentioned foreigners, who despite being given entry into our homeland, act in such an atrocious act, ungrateful manner, blemishing our country's reputation through their mileage seeking concocted fake news saying that we are racists and ill-treating these illegal aliens who have intruded into our nation and when rounded up during the Covid-19 Movement Control Order period, cry foul and act as if they are the ones, being wronged!

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Dr. Kenneth Wong Chen Fei, who works at the Covid-19 Quarantine and Treatment Centre, MAEPS Serdang refuted Al-Jazeera's fake news and wrote the following in his Facebook page:

'Al-Jazeera making false claims (pembohongan/tuduhan tidak wajar) against Malaysia regarding the management and treatment of Illegal immigrants with Covid-19!

I was doing my service in Pusat Kuarantin dan Rawatan Covid-19, MAEPS Serdang for 1 month and 1 week. We treated almost 700-800 Covid-19 Positive illegal immigrants (Pendatang Asing Tanpa Izin/PATI) in our centre.

All the PATIs were treated fairly and well. We respect them as normal human beings. 3 meals per day. Each meal with vegetables, meat and rice. Nice bed with aircond environment. They were each given free toiletry packs/towels/ extra dry food. None of them were mistreated. All were given freedom to perform solat prayers and toilet breaks. When they discharged, all were given free new clothing.'

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Saringan percuma (1 test = RM 300-400), makanan percuma, rawatan percuma, baju percuma. Semua Kerajaan Malaysia tanggung! What more do they want? We stand with Ministry of Health (KKM) and Malaysia for doing their best in fighting the Covid-19 pandemic! 👍🙏

#terusberjuang #kitajagakita #throwbackphoto

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Meaning : Covid-19 Screening costing RM300-400 given free, Free Food, Free Treatment, Free Clothing. All borne by the Malaysian Government!

What more do they want?

Al-Jazeera's report is baseless and false! (One-sided news). We stand with the Malaysian Ministry of Health and Malaysia for doing their best in fighting the Covid-19 pandemic!
______________________________________________________

PROVIDE THEM ALL THEIR NEEDS IF YOU ARE TRULY THE LEGITIMATE SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF YOUR PARENTS!!!

FAILING WHICH, YOU ARE MERE BASTARDS FOR BLEMISHING MY COUNTRY'S NAME FOR NO OTHER REASON THAN YOU BEING A FAKE NEWS CHANNEL!!!
